I got in trouble for "mouthing off" to my mom, and I was on my way to the stairs when I passed the front door.

Man, did that doorknob look inviting...

I mean, it was right there(I've had multiple thoughts about running away, and actually nearly did it once. I was outside, on the porch, and about ready to close the door).

I was itching to open that door and just run out of the house. I mean, no one could really stop me. I'm practically stronger than anyone else in my family. And the door was right there.

I had my hand on the doorknob, I was so close to swinging it open and slamming it shut behind me.

Something made me stop, though. I thought about all my friends, both in school and online, and my family, and realized I couldn't survive without either of those things.

CatPersonAtHeart, you've been so supportive and friendly to me, and I'm glad I met you on here.

BlueOakStar2, so have you. I'm glad to have met both of you. You both have been super supportive, and without you, I don't know what I would have done in the situation I was just in.

Imattimebomb, you've been really good to me as well. I've gotten inspiration from your books, and I feel as if you've taught me some things that I never would have learned if I hadn't met you.
