Chapter Twenty-Eight // {jordan's pov}
A/N: Major(ish) part of the show was changed to fit my storyline -- Carol being dead (kinda regret that tbh, love her so much). Don't get mad at the character change because I kinda hate it too, but it'll work out... *evil smirk* Anywho, enjoy! xx

"Alright, got four of them pricks coming our way," Daryl called out to us all. Luckily, I had the knife with me still. Everyone else had used their belts in order to make weapons and right now, we're about to use them. I stood beside Rick, ready for anyone or anything.
"Y'all know what to do. Go for their eyes first, then their throats, alright?" Rick repeated our plan. A chorus of okay's replied to Rick, making him give everyone a firm nod.
"Put your backs to the walls on either side of the car now!" a man screamed from outside. No one made an effort to move.
All of a sudden, the train cart's roof opened and cans were thrown into the cart. A gas poured out of all the cans, making me cough and splutter. I reached for Rick, but someone threw me to the ground, my head hitting the cart's wall.
"Rick!" I screamed out in pain. No reply.
The train cart's door was open now and I could see people dragging our people. I sobbed, carefully touching the place on my head that hit the wall. I flinched as my finger grazed over the area.
It felt wet.
I pulled my hand back and my hand was covered with blood. I gasped.
"Jordan?" a voice spoke sounding panicked.
"H-.. here. Over here..." I managed to get out. I stared at my hand in shock. How could so much blood come out in such a short amount of time.
Maggie appeared in front of me, she crouched down and noticed my staring.
Her eyes followed where I was looking.
"Oh god.. Is that yours?" she asked, looking at me. I nodded, frowning a little.
"Shit -- guys! Quick, Jordan's bleeding a lot!" Maggie yelled out to everyone who was recovering from the gas.
Abraham strode over with Eugene safely beside him.
Maggie grabbed part of Eugene's sleeve and tore some of the fabric off.
"Hey!" he said frowning.
"Okay, Jordan, how're you feelin' right now?" Maggie questioned as she wrapped the fabric around my head.
"It hurts.. Uhh... I-.. I just want to sleep," I told Maggie, glancing up at her. I blinked a few times to keep my eyes from drooping and falling asleep.
She hummed a reply and neatly tied a knot, keeping the fabric from falling off.
"We need to monitor her, if she ever seems out of it, tell me. She definitely has a concussion. Make sure she doesn't fall asleep. Hopefully the bleeding will stop shortly," Maggie told everyone smoothly with confidence. I gave her a lazy smile as a thank you.
"It'll be alright, just don't stress yourself, okay?" she reassured me.
"Than-.. Where's Rick? Daryl? Glenn!? Where's everyone!" I panicked, looking around the train cart for the missing faces.
Maggie looked at me with sad eyes.
"They took them..." she mumbled before adding, "they're okay though. They always are."
I frowned.
"Maybe, we won't be so lucky this time," I commented. Maggie gasped, a frown forming on her features.
"You can't give up hope! You're second in charge here, I hope you realise that! If you give up.. we all do..." she argued sadly.
"I won't give up, I promise" I said giving her my most reassuring smile. A hint of hope flickered through her eyes before she turned back away from me.
I settled into my spot against the wall, trying to get as comfortable as possible. My head continued to pound. Imagine your heartbeat in your head, but twenty times worse, that was how I was feeling.
I glanced over everyone in the train cart. Daryl, Glenn, Bob and Rick were taken by these Terminus people. Part of me thought that they were gone -- for good. Considering the little of what we saw and Gareth's sickening smile... Why would they have a 'community for all,' if they were just going to trap us and then take some us? The horrible thought from earlier popped up again. What if they were cannibals? Not only are they brutally murdering us, but for their food source. I almost gag at the idea. Surely not.
I think this loss of blood is making me think insane and unrealistic thoughts. Well, at least I would like to believe that they are unrealistic and insane.
I close my eyes, just trying to calm myself, knowing blood is dripping from my head and I have a concussion. Maybe they'll spare me because I'm injured. If I could make it look like a bite, they won't e-..
Rapid gunshots go off, shortly followed by an explosion. The train cart rocked a little from the blast. I stood up, my vision going blurry from the sudden movement.
"Fuck. What was that?" I yelled to everyone over the gunshots. Carl jogged over to me and helped keep me steady.
Everyone was looking at each other with confusion and panic. Maybe it's the end of the end.
"Hopefully, someone trying to free us," I heard Sasha mutter from beside Michonne who was looking at me with worry. I strode over to the train cart door, trying to focus on one thing at a time. My vision doubled, making me stop half way. I took a few more steps and I peered through a gap in the door but I fell back as the door opened suddenly. My head pounded more and I could no longer see straight at all. I could feel someone picking me up off of the ground. We were running. Away from this place. I hope...
Whoever was holding me wasn't holding me like they were trying to hurt me. Just holding me.
"My head..." I grumbled in the person's arms.
"I know, I know, we're almost there, Jordan," the person answered. I recognised their southern voice straight away. Dixon.
I let my eyes give up on trying to see, everything was a blur of colour anyway. The headache I had now, became unbearable. I trusted Daryl enough to not drop and to keep me alive.
So, I let myself drift off to sleep.

I blinked open my eyes, allowing them to adjust to the sunlight. I turned on my side a little, snuggling into the warmth.
"Finally," a tired voice spoke with a slightly chuckle.
"Rick?" I mumbled, realising that he was carrying me. He hummed a reply.
"What happened back there?" I asked, looking up at his ocean blue eyes. He smiled.
"It doesn't matter now, what matters is what we do now," he assured me, steering clear of my question. I frowned, wondering what happened to him when they took him and the others away. Rick stopped and helped me drop down from his arms. I noticed Beth speaking with Maggie and Daryl straight away.
"Beth!" I screamed, running to her and fast as I could. I ran into her arms and the sudden realisation that I have a concussion settled back in.
"Shit..." I mumbled into her arms.
She laughed her bubbly laugh, "concussions suck, hey." I nodded, grinning at her. We pulled away and I stalked back to Rick, smiling like a madman, well woman but anyway.
"She's taking us somewhere. Said there's something we want to see," he informed, pulling me into his side. I looked up at him with hope.
"This'll be good," I commented. He kissed my forehead lightly.
The people at the front of the group suddenly pulled up, looking back at us and Carl who was beside Rick.
"We're here," Beth chirped, pointing at the man holding something -- or someone.
I let out a cry of joy before letting go of Rick and sprinting up to Tyreese who was holding the girl who I had been given the responsibility of bringing up. I ignored the pounding of my headache and grinned at the bundle of joy.
"Judy!" I cood, happy tears falling from my tear ducts as I cradled her in my arms. Rick wrapped his arms around me as Carl held Judith's hand. A tear from Rick, dropped onto Judith's small and fragile face, letting me know he was crying happily too. And as for Carl, he looked as if Judith had brought new hope to us all.
Well, in fact, she did.
For me, especially.

A/N: omg crying tbh, I cry every time I watch that part and writing about it...
SEASON 5, EPISODE 1, BABYYYY! Yassssssssss!!!!!! I loved this season. To be honest, season 6 isn't my favourite right now, just because I miss them being on the run. I love it. Don't get me wrong, I still adore season 6. ♥️
I hope no one is too bothered by the swapping of Carol with Beth. I have some real nice plans for Beth in the future -- especially in Alexandria. The whole how Beth was originally with Daryl and now is with Tyreese WILL BE EXPLAINED IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!
It'll be alright....
That's a long A/N, wow, okay bye. xx
