Chapter Twelve // {jordan's pov}

Rick was pretty pissed for the rest of the day and he kept me by his side at all times. I could tell just by that, that he was worried about Brodie escaping and hurting me.
I glanced over at Glenn who was talking to Rick about what they were going to do with him. Rick hasn't mentioned what he did to me to anyone, he just kept saying that he is a major threat to everyone. No one questioned it. I think everyone could sense what kind of guy he was.
"We could drive him out, less him loose, like what we tried to with Randall," Glenn suggested. I automatically frowned. Part of me wished Glenn wasn't such a good guy. However, I didn't know who Randall was and nor what Glenn meant by 'tried.'
"No, just trust me on this, we don't want him around anyone, period," I replied confidently and without stuttering for once. I noticed Rick sideways glanced at me, raising an eyebrow before returning his gaze to Glenn.
Glenn nodded, understanding.
"Shoot 'im in the head," Daryl suggested walking into the Warden's office. I smiled at him and he returned the gesture. Daryl sat down on the wheelie chair and spun around on it once. Rick chuckled at him before quickly returning to his 'pissed' mood. I rolled my eyes.
"Sounds good to me," I added with no emotion.
Rick sighed, glancing at Daryl and then to Glenn.
"You fine with that, Glenn?" asked Rick. He shrugged, not caring.
"If it means Maggie or anyone in the group for the matter are safer, so be it," he informed with a small smile.

"Are you sure that you're okay with me doing this?" Rick asked me for the one thousandth time. I huffed in annoyance.
"Yes, I am," I assured. He still didn't look convinced.
"I just don't want to watch," I added. He nodded and gave me a small peck on my forehead before leaving to kill Brodie. I watched him disappear into the prison walls. I sighed and jogged into the prison courtyard. I saw Carl over in the distance and decided to head over to him. I could see him holding the bundle of joy, Judith. I squinted and noticed she was wearing the pink dress that I had grabbed from that store.
All of a sudden, a sharp pain ripped through my shoulder. I collapsed to the floor, screaming in agony.
My vision was becoming cloudier by the second.
I could make out figures coming towards me.
Before I knew it, they were above me.
Screaming.
Yelling.
To whom, I didn't know.
The figures seemed to be fading.
Or maybe it was just my vision,
and before I knew it,
I faded into d a r k n e s s . . .
