New endings

"Want anything?" Tony asked, his face still burning with embarrassment. Jimin nodded his head no and continued to watch the really dumb movie in front of him. It was quiet and awkward like everything else. They both felt better after each taking a nice warm shower. Though Jimin's cuts and bruises still burned like fire. Instead of getting into the movie, Jimin's thoughts wandered off to the day that was soon coming to an end. He thought about Vanessa, the quiet girl on the bus, Tony, the fight, and even about the police officer that was so kind to pick them up and take them home. Nothing seemed real so far. How he went from a relaxing lunch to bandaging his hands. But through all of that, Tony was there with him the whole time.

"Tony?" Jimin asked. He looked up to his mocha friend and thought of what to say next.

"Yeah Chim Chim?" Tony tilted his head to the side, his fingers weaved through the carpet strings at his side.

"Um...." Jimin couldn't think of what to say next. His mouth and brain were sore so he just looked down and squeezed the cup of milk in his hands. "T-thank you." He managed to say. It was only now he really realized how great it is to have Tony as a friend. No matter what, Tony seemed to smile even if he was going through something painful, he always helped out, he was funny, he was happy, and he was amazing.

"For what?" Tony asked. He rubbed Jimin's back and Jimin looked up. They gazed into each other's eyes. Jimin found a warm soul in the dark pits. This made him feel a little kick in his heart.

The sun shone gold through the white cloth curtains. The sunlight reflected off the sleeping pair on the floor. The birds chirped and the room had a warm gold glow. Jimin awoke, nearly screaming while looking upon the unfamiliar location. He calmed down after a whiff of Tony's scent breezed under his nose. Blinking a few times, he lifted his head and stretched his arms in the air. Tony lied there, his lips puffed and his breathing was soft and serene. Had he been sleeping on his shoulder through the whole night? Jimin's neck ached. He stood up from the floor and stretched some more. His clothes were wrinkled and his hair was sticking out in a bunch of weird places. Tony mumbled before silently snoring. Jimin glanced down at the lump on the floor. He studied features of Tony that he had never noticed before. Even when he was sleeping, his presence had this warmth that no one could really describe. His nose was flat and round with a long face to go with it. Ears were small and legs were long, making him have this adorable charm. Jimin felt that kick in his heart again, only this time it was a lot larger.

When Jimin got home his mother immediately aided him. She asked if he needed to go to the hospital, but he said no.

"You alright?" Jimin's father came on through the door and greeted him with a gruff moan. He came over and got food from the fridge. He handed his son an apple and left. I wonder what's wrong? Jimin thought. He went to bed and the rest of the weekend was just him laying in bed, slowly recovering from his injuries.

Monday morning came, he got dressed in his usual casual wear, ate his usual breakfast, and loaded onto the bus.
