CHAPTER TWO: The Gang.

~Jonson's POV~

When I come in from the waves a guy with light brown hair and dark brown eyes comes up to me. "Woh! That was awesome man! Did you seriously hang ten out there?!" He says excitedly and I nod. "Sweet! I'm Joshua man! Joshua Pines, but everyone just calls me Josh! You?" He says next and I give a chuckle at how excited he is. "I'm Jonson Star."

"Cool Bro." He says then we start joking around.

~Sofia's POV~

I end my song on the piano and open my miss matched eyes. One eye is green and the other brown. I put my wavy brown hair in a bun and grab my purse.

Hi, I'm Sofia Torlock. I'm fourteen, and will start my freshman year of highschool soon.

I walk out of the hut shaped building of the classical music club and walk down the beach. I see Josh Pines as I do. Josh is one of the popular guys that will never actually land a girl. He's totally girl crazy though.

He's walking with some guy I don't recognize who's wearing sunglasses. I just ignore the two idiots and go to the Ocean Side Café. It sits right on the beach and is a favorite hangout for all beach going teens.

When I sit at a table outside my server comes up. "Hay Sofia!" She says. "Kelsy!" I say and we hug. Kelsy has been my best friend since we were six. "I'm guessing you want the usual?" She asks and I nod.

Just as she leaves with her dark brown hair bouncing in a ponytail Josh and his new friend come up to the deck and look for a seat. I slouch down trying to hide. "Please don't see me. Please don't see me. Please don't see me." I repeat under my breath just as Josh looks dead strate at me.

"Sofie!" Josh says in his usual obnoxious way and I grone. Just great! Not! Josh sits across from me and his friend sits next to me leaning his back on the table. "Well hay there Doll Face." The new guy says with a wink. Great! A player!

I just ignore him. "Whoe! Dude! What's on the side of your neck?!" Josh let's out and I see the new guy cover the right side of His neck. I didn't even notice him turn to face the table. "It's a birthmark." He says. Josh peals back his hand and I marvel at the birthmark. It's in the perfect shape of the Gemini constellation!

"Is that Gimini?!" I say and Josh gives me a puzzled look. "Gema-whos it?" He says and I grone. "Gemini? The constellation? It's also a star sign?" I say. "*Fake Cough* Nerd Girl. *Fake Cough*" The new guy let's out and I gasp as Josh let's out a laugh.

"You... You..."

~Jonson's POV~

"You... You..." Says Doll Face and I smirk. "You neanderthal!" She yells and I fake a stupid expression. "Neandra-th-whats-a?" I say playing dumb. Josh just gives a stupid laugh. "Neanderthal! Exactly what you are!" She says with her face bright red with anger. Well that hurt.

"Should I take that as a compliment or insult?" I ask Josh knowing dang well it was an insult. He just shrugs. A cute waitress comes over and gives Doll Face a cheese burger and fries. "Thanks Kelsy." She says and this hottie Kelsy nods. "Anytime Sofia."

"Sup hot stuff" I say and she scoffs. "I'm, Jonson" I say with a wink and a flip of my bangs. "Jonson Star." I Finnish and she looks me up and down with a 'seriously?' Look. "Um... Ewe?" She says before walking off.

That whole day after that is spent hitting on hot chicks, collecting phone numbers, and messing with Doll Face and her friend.
