Much later a little winged humanoid reptile stirred in his sleep, disturbing the sleep of the bigger one beside him.

Jonah cracked an eye, sleepily. He wrapped an arm around the slightly smaller man beside him and tucked him tightly at his chest. "Sleep love. The transformation took a toll on you."

Sammy curled closer to Jonah, snuggling deeper at the broad chest. "You could have said something." he scolded lightly. Jonah chuckled softly. "And you would have believed it?"

Sammy yawned. "Maybe. My life wasn't exactly all roses, so chances are that I would grasped at that chance with both hands." He thought a little bit. "As long as I don't have to go back?" he asked warily.

"Never." Jonah answered fervently.

Both men were silent again. Right on the edge of the sleep Jonah heard a soft: "Albatros, huh? Nice story." from Sammy.

And with a happy laughter Jonah finally let go and fell free over the edge to his dreams and back to sleep.
