Today I got to redo the mermaid whose prompt was Silhouette. I am going to mention that this was totally traced and not okay when I did it last year, because I traced everything and just changed up the hair and made the legs into a tail on a silhouette photo of a girl I found online when doing it last year. This year I've done it all from scratch, so it may not look as good, but it's all my own original work.

This is the one from last year which only took 16 minutes because of the way I did it. Overall this piece seems plain, and also doesn't fit in with my art style at all really.

Notes: Monotone colors kinda, traced off of a real photo of a girl's silhouette (*GASSSSP* BAD JOLI), IHATEITAGH

This is the version from today, which took me 36 minutes. I used Procreate, and the font is Party (I think)

This one I tried to make a little more lively with more colors, and I also tried to make her face and everything fit in with my usual style :)
