Today I got to redo one of my favorites from last year, the rainbow mermaid, which I named Iris, for two reasons. The main one is because the name Iris means Goddess of the Rainbow, and the second is a reason only TheRivalryEndsHere will get XD bc I don't want have permission to give out that reason.

I'm going to ahead and put a disclaimer now, that her being a rainbow mermaid isn't related to LGBT+ community. Sorry if that doesn't float your boat, but I have got so many comments asking if she is like a mascot for that community when I posted her last year, so I'm going to answer that question before it gets asked. The answer is no. She is rainbow because I like rainbows.

Anyways, this first version took me 40 minutes last year, and I did it super tiny for some reason. Probably because I'm a weirdo.

Notes: Heyyyyy mitten hands! No bellybutton, we can say she's a barbie doll as an excuse. The hair also isn't blended at all, making the hair a little strange, and the lines are very dark which make your eye drawn to the place with the most lineart, which is the face, so that's not a bad thing, but it also is since it takes attention away from the main focus which is the hair.

This is the version from this year, which took me an hour. I really feel like she's a lot prettier now and she may be my new favorite, but I would absolutely love some constructive criticism.
