Today I get to redo the mermaid whose prompt was Monster, which I ended up using to make a ghost mermaid! I feel like this is one of the ones that improved a lot, so hopefully that's true.

Here's the original, which took me an hour to finish last year. I think this is when I realized that maybe doing something with the background might help to draw the attention away from how much I needed to work on anatomy XD

This one took me an hour today, so both of these took the same amount of time, one year apart. I kept her mustache jellyfish friend because I like him, he seems friendly. But they both seem to have gotten older as my style improved lol.
