This mermaid is an entry for the contest created by _Music-Is-Art_

I have to say that working on this was interesting because of the way I felt working on it. When I first entered to get my prompt I was really excited. But then when I got on today I saw an entry that had already been put in that was just, awesome. I got really upset because I've been working on my art for 16 years and still am not at all near the skill level I want to be, I considered quitting and not entering at all.

But instead I did this mermaid with the little spare time I have between schoolwork. Because I might not be able to draw as good as other people but that's okay. I can still keep trying and entering ^^

For this challenge I had a lot of trouble coming up with what kind of mermaid to draw, because I was going to do something inspired by a certain kind of jellyfish, but then someone else did that. So instead mine is a mermaid in a bottle. It seems like it would make a fun piece since there are so many possibilities for a story if someone found a tiny mermaid in a bottle :)
