Mandrake

For my muggles, a mandrake is a root creature that lives in the dirt and looks like any other plant- except when yanked up. Whenever pulled up from the dirt the mandrake screeches loud enough that it can make you deaf if you don't wear earmuffs while doing it.

This is the photo I used as a reference, it's a scene from the movies (the second one I think?) where the students have to pull up mandrakes for herbology class. Ron Weasley is the person doing it in this photo (actor is Rupert Grint)

This is what I did, and as you can probably tell, I didn't try to copy the photo a ton because I felt like the things in it were really ugly and I'd rather have my art style be cute, along with trying to make Ron fit into the book description more. XD so I hope it still looks good anyways. It took me 45 minutes to draw ^-^
