Straizo got back up and ran at Zaref again. Zaref on the other hand, was prepared. 

"RIPPLE STRIKE!!" they both yelled as their knifehand strikes hit. 

"RIPPLE KICK!!" Zaref yelled, his voice suddenly louder, and it knocked Straizo back. Zaref then actually used his Ripple Kick on him. 

Straizo was hit directly on the face, and got knocked back, generating battle dust. 

"ELECTRIC RIPPLE SHOCKWAVE!!!" Straizo yelled and cut through the dust, zooming at Zaref. Zaref stood his ground, trying to come up with a counterattack. 

Suddenly, a ghost like arm materialized out of Zaref's arm and punched Straizo in the gut.

"I-" Straizo groaned in pain and disbelief. 

"What in the...?" Zaref said in wonder. 

Is this because of the golden liquid? What is that creature? Where did it come from? Is there more liquid? How is it created? 

Questions filled up Zaref's mind as Tonpetty approached him. 

"Zaref...do you know the cause of this?" he asked. 

"No...I don't," Zaref replied slowly.

Straizo got up and approached the two. 

"We must check your body and experiment..." Tonpetty murmured. 

"No. I refuse!" Zaref protested. 

"It must be done...Straizo, take him away," Tonpetty said with a nod at Straizo.

Straizo got closer to Zaref. 

"This won't HAPPEN!!!" Zaref screamed, his volume increasing. 

This power isn't too bad to control...

Straizo and Tonpetty both got knocked back. Straizo however, quickly landed on his feet. 

"ELECTRIC RIPPLE SHOCKWAVE!!!" Straizo yelled, and unleashed his attack from where he was, a massive ripple of electricity broke through the sound.

Right before Zaref got hit, a monkey appeared and blocked the electricity with its chest. It then ran to Straizo on all fours.

"TORARARARARARARARARARRARARARARARARAAARARARARARARARARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the monkey yelled, doing a barrage of punches at Straizo.

Upon closer inspection, it had a spear on it's back. The monkey was big and muscular. The neck was covered in brown fur, and the colour of the monkey was orange. The face was white with red stripes, and had small black eyes. There was brown fur around the waist and private area, looking like underwear. It was barefoot and had no clothing on. 

Straizo got knocked back and crashed into a nearby wall, bleeding. 

"T-This is...an otherworldly being...Ripple...Ripple...w-won't work..." he said before losing consciousness. 

"Straizo has suffered grave injuries...he'll need healing," Tonpetty said, approaching Straizo. 

"..." Zaref didn't say anything. The monkey disappeared. Then, the monkey's arms materialized out of Zaref's arms and pounded on the ground, before pushing it's palms onto it, and launching him upwards, away.

Tonpetty simply took Straizo away for healing. 

Few hours later 

Tonpetty looked out the window. 

"Zaref will return..." he murmured. 

Another sphere was coming, and it crashed into the courtyard, destroying it. 

"Oh dear," he said, as he drank the test tube he took from the lab, which contained the golden liquid.

He fainted.
