*(y/n)'s POV*

It didn't take long to get to our destination as I pulled up in front of a building, dazzled with string lights all over the outdoor sitting area. "Here we are." I said, as I got out of the car and went around to get BB-8 out of the passenger seat, while everyone else was getting out of the car. "What is this place, (y/n)?" Kylo asked. "This is 'North Pass Cozy Haven', the lounge cafe where I work." I answered. "Looks like a pretty cool place to hang out at." Finn commented, while he was assisting Poe and General Hux to get out from the back seat.

"What is there to do here at this cafe?" Rey asked. "Normally, people come here for the coffee and lounge around to study or relax. But today is special because it's opened longer for Wednesday Fun Night. There's more activities to do, particularly open mic night, and we serve non-alcoholic beverages to make the night a blast." I explained. "But why on this particular day?" General Hux asked, curiously. "Because Wednesday is known as 'Hump Day', which is the day in the middle of the week where we're getting closer to the weekend. So, why not celebrate surviving the first two boring days of the week and know that you're getting closer to the weekend, if that makes sense?" I said. "I can see what you're saying, so yes. It makes total sense." Poe responded. "Completely." Kylo agreed.

We all headed inside, where we saw a lot of people sitting around socializing and drinking different non-alcoholic beverages, while music was playing. I liked it so much because it gives the place a good vibe just to see everyone have a good time. But I was disappointed to see no one wasn't up on the stage participating the open mic.

"Hey! There's the girl who's graduating soon!" I heard a familiar voice say out loud. I turned and saw my boss, Louis, walking up to me. "Hey, Louis." I said, happily. "What you doing here? You're not trying to sneak a shift during your vacation time, are you, (y/n)?" Louis asked, jokingly. I giggled and responded, "Absolutely not, Louis. I just came here to celebrate my final grade with my friends." He looked at everyone behind me and observed them. "Never seen these folks before." "That's because they're visiting. They're my long distance friends." I explained. "Oh, I see. Well, that's nice of them. You got yourself a good company of friends, (y/n)." Louis said.

"Thank you, Louis. You guys, this is my boss who is also the owner of this place. Louis, these are my friends Kylo, Rey, Finn, Poe, General Hux, and BB-8." I introduced them. "Nice to meet you all. Any friends of (y/n)'s is always welcome here. Let me take y'all to a good spot." Louis said, and, then, he gestured us to follow him to one of the lounge areas. He brought us over to a spot near the stage; it had two small couches, two chairs, and a coffee table. "Thanks, Louis. You're the best as always." I said. "Any time, (y/n). I'll tell Collyn that you're here so she can serve you all." Louis said, and he walked away.

Afterwards, we all sat down in different spots without arguing about who was gonna sit where. I sat down on one of the small couches with Kylo sitting next to me after he had asked if he could join me, in which I didn't hesitate to say 'yes' in response, while Rey and Poe sat at the other couch. Finn and General ended up sitting in the chairs, while BB-8 was by the coffee table near Rey and Poe.

"This place is great. I'm already liking it. Way better than Canto Bight." Finn commented. "I'm with you on that, Finn. Plus, we even got ourselves a good spot to hang out at." Poe added, while leaning back against the couch, relaxing. "I must say that this place is nicer than any tavern I've ever visited. It was rather crowded." General Hux said. "I don't know why, but I like the lights in here. It reminds me of the stars." Rey said, looking at the string lights that hung up all over the ceiling. Poe looked at her with a gentle smile and, even from a distance, I could see the love and tenderness in his eyes as he kept staring at her while she was still looking at the lights. I smiled at the moment he was having with Rey. I even heard an 'ooh' coming from BB-8 as if he knew. "This was a great choice to come here, (y/n)." Kylo complimented. "Thank you. I'm glad you all like it." I said.

"I knew Louis wasn't kidding when he said that you were here." I heard another familiar voice. I turned and saw my same age coworker, Collyn, standing right next to me. "Hey, Collyn." I said, as I stood up from my seat and we embraced each other in a hug. "Louis told me you got your final grade for graduation. That's awesome, girl." "Thank you. Now I'm just here celebrating with some friends of mine." I said, gesturing to everyone right behind me. "That's great! Nice to meet you all!" Collyn greeted them and they all greeted back to her.

"Would you all like to get started on some drinks?" Collyn asked, as she handed me a small menu that had a list of what non alcoholic beverages that were served here. "You know me, Collyn. I'm gonna get the Piña Colada." I told her, as I handed out the menu to Kylo, who started looking at the list. "Absolutely I do!" Collyn responded back, while she wrote down on her notepad. "I'll try this one, the Mock Colada." Kylo chose what he wanted before he passed the menu over to Rey and Poe. "You got it!" Collyn said, as she wrote the order.

"Hey, (y/n). You found yourself a good looking guy in the group." Collyn whispered by my ear, with her notepad covering her mouth. I snickered and playfully smacked her arm afterwards. "We're just friends, Collyn." I told her, quietly. "Yeah. Say that now and I guarantee that you and him will be together later on." Collyn said. "Oh, my God, Collyn!" I whispered, while I sat back down in my seat, feeling hot from the blush that was appearing on my cheeks that I tried to hide.

"What about you, sweetie?" Collyn asked Rey. "I'll have the Virgin Mango Margarita." Rey answered, while she passed the menu to Poe, who gave to Finn without looking at it as he was kept staring at Rey. "Make that two please." He added, surprising Rey. "You're not getting anything different?" She asked. "Nah. The one that you chose sounds intriguing." Poe answered, with a smirk, making Rey blush and giggle. "Sounds good." Collyn responded, while she wrote the two orders down on her notepad. "And for you?" She asked Finn. "Oh, right. Let's see. I'll have—this Mock Grapefruit-Pom Paloma." He requested, while handing the menu to General Hux. "Good choice! That one's my favorite." Collyn mentioned, flirtatiously, while she was writing down his order.

"And what about you, redhead?" She asked, looking at General Hux. "Oh. I think I'll pass." He said, sounding hesitant. "How come?" I asked. "Because—I don't know what to get. I've never had these before." General Hux answered. "Aw, come on, General Hux. That's no excuse." Finn called out. "You won't know until you try it." Poe told him. "We're here to have a good time." Rey said. "Yeah. Loosen up for once, General Hux." Kylo encouraged him, with Rey, Poe, and Finn agreeing with him. "All right. I'll get something, but I still don't know what to get since I've never heard of any of these." General Hux said. "What is this guy from? A different planet?" Collyn asked me, but loud enough for everyone, including General Hux, to hear. "Something like that." He responded, slightly offended.

"You know what? I have a drink suggestion that I think you might like, General Hux." I spoke up. "What is it?" "It's called a Mojito. It's basically a drink that has fresh mint leaves, lime juice, seltzer, and non alcoholic rum. It's pretty good and I think you'll like it." I suggested. General Hux was thinking about it and he seemed intrigued by the suggestion. "It sounds quite refreshing. I'll take one then." He finally told Collyn and she wrote down his order on her notepad. "Thanks, everyone. I'll bring them out in a little bit." Collyn said, and, then, she went straight to the kitchen. "Um, thank you for the drink suggestion, (y/n). I really appreciate it." General Hux told me, kindly. I smiled at him and said, "You're welcome, General Hux." I even glanced at Kylo and he gave him a small smile as if he was proud of the general's new attitude adjustment.

"That coworker of yours seems nice, (y/n)." Finn said. "She's wonderful to work with and she knows how to deal with customers who have an attitude. I think she was flirting with you, Finn." I said, with a smirk. Finn, caught off guard, chuckled nervously. "What? No way. She's just being friendly," he replied, trying to brush off my observation. "Come on, Finn. I saw the way she was looking at you." I said. He glanced at Rey and Poe for a moment before he turned back to me. "Actually, (y/n), there's someone else on my mind." He admitted, capturing everyone's attention. "Aw, that's awesome, Finn! Who is it?" I exclaimed, as I leaned forward, curiously. "Yeah, Finn. Tell us." Poe said, enthusiastically, with Rey nodding.

Finn was hesitating for a few seconds until he finally answered, "It's Rose from the Resistance." "Aw!" I exclaimed. Poe and Rey exchanged excited glances. "Finn, that's wonderful!" Poe said. "Absolutely amazing!" Rey agreed. "I knew that you had Rose on your mind for a while!" Poe added. Finn looked at his two best friends after he listened to their reactions. "Are you guys okay with it?" He asked. "Of course we're okay with it, buddy." Poe answered. "You found someone special and we're still gonna be your friends no matter what." Rey told him. A smile appeared on his face once he heard their responses. "Thanks, you guys." He said.

"So, what's so special about this Rose?" General Hux asked, lounging back and crossing his leg, as he seemed intrigued to hear about Finn's love interest. "And how did you meet her?" Kylo asked. "Yeah. Tell us, Finn." I encouraged him. "It was just pure luck, I guess you could say. I met her not too long ago on the Resistance's Raddus. She's cool and she admires my bravery for leaving the First Order." Finn started to say, and, then, he looked at the directions of where Kylo and General Hux were. "No offense, you two." He added. "None taken." Kylo responded, even though I could tell that he was tense. "Anyway, I admire her bravery, especially when she saved my life during the Battle of Crait. If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't be here today. That's why she's special to me and I hope to tell her how I feel about her once we get back to the Resistance." Finn finished saying.

I smiled and sighed, in admiration, after hearing Finn talk about the woman he's grown fond of, even if it was a short time ago. Personally, I find it very romantic when two people fall in love after meeting each other a short time like they know that they're destined to be together, even if people don't agree with it. Think about Romeo and Juliet, for example.

"It's great to find someone who loves you for who you are and will always be there for you, whether you've known them for a short time or a very long time. Who cares what anyone says. I find it very romantic." I spoke to myself. "It certainly is." I heard Kylo mutter right next to me. I turned to him and saw him looking at me, with a softness in his dark brown eyes. "What did you say, Kylo?" I questioned. He shook his head and cleared his throat before he answered, "Nothing. Nothing at all, (y/n)."

A few minutes later, Collyn brought us over our drinks. Once we had them in our hands, Kylo stood up from his seat and raised his glass in the air. "I'd like to propose a toast to (y/n). Not only are we here celebrating her achievement in her final grade that will lead her towards her graduation day, but to also show our appreciation and gratitude for how much she has done for us since our arrival and how special she is to us. Here's to (y/n)." He announced, in which it made me smile. "To (y/n)." Rey, Finn, Poe, and General Hux said, in unison, as they all raised their glasses and drank them. Even BB-8 beeped to join in the toast. They reacted when they tasted their drinks for the first time as they sounded satisfied with them. I slightly raised my glass and gave them all a nod before I took a sip of my drink. "That is so sweet. Thank you, Kylo, and to the rest of you." I responded.
