OMG I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING AGAIN YESTERDAY!!!! I had to do a bunch of chores and stuff before i went to bed and i didn't have time. I know it's a really lousy excuse for not updating but PLEASE DON'T HATE ME!!!! Luckily i have time to upate before i have dance tonight so here's chapter 18

Johnny opened his eyes and they landed on me first. I don’t think he saw the gang in the room yet. “Hey Johnny, how are you feeling?” I asked giving him a warm smile and gently grabbing his hand. “Okay, I guess, when can we go home?” He asked and sounded like a little kid. “Whenever you’re feeling well enough.” I said and rubbed the back of it with my thumb. “Well then I am feeling well enough, let’s go home.” He said trying to sit up but my hand stopped him. “I know you don’t like hospitals, Johnny, but we have to make sure it’s okay with the doctor first and aren’t you going to say hello to your friends.” I said and pointed to them behind me. Johnny looked over and when he saw them his eyes widened and he gulped. “Oh relax, I met them on the day you were put into the hospital and they are really nice. I’ve been staying at the Curtis house.” I said and his expression went from scared to protective. “Have any of them been flirting with you and with whom and where have you been sleeping?” He asked giving the gang the evil eye. I rolled my eyes, “None of them have flirted with me,” That was true, “and I’ve been sleeping on the couch with no one.” That part, I lied. I knew Johnny wouldn’t be happy if he knew I was sleeping in the same bed as one of the gang. I guess he didn’t trust them with me. Johnny now was giving me the evil eye. “What?” I asked putting my hands up. “Tell me the truth.” He said, dammit he knew I was lying. “I am, when have I ever lied to you?” I said putting my hands on my hips. Johnny continued the stare. “Okay maybe I have lied to you once or twice.” The gang began snickering in the background. Johnny kept staring at me. “Okay maybe I have lied to you a lot more than once or twice.” I said shrugging a little. Johnny just shook his head at me. “Okay, fine I lie to you all the time.” I said and stood up turning away from him. The gang all burst out laughing and so did Johnny. “So what do you think of Jennie?” Johnny asked everyone. “Total badass.” Dal said, “She’s funny.” Two-Bit added, “She’s smart.” Darry said, “Energetic.” Sodapop contributed, “Completely fearless.” Steve said and I expected Ponyboy to say something but he didn’t. “What about you Pony? What do you think of my sister?” Johnny asked. “I’m trying to think of a new one, they stole mine.” He said closing his eyes and thinking. “Sassy, upbeat, spontaneous, outgoing, amazing, awesome, kind-hearted, unique, thoughtful, powerful, outstanding, lively, incredible, bright, courageous, alive…” The gang was throwing all kinds of adjectives at him left and right. I just kind of looked at Johnny and he had the same expression, which was amazed. Could they really come up with that many adjectives about a person? “No, well yes she is all of those but I was thinking of something different.” He said and I looked at him puzzled. Ponyboy looked me straight in the eye and I could see that sparkle like when he talked about his favorite books. “I was thinking more along the lines of beautiful.”

I know this chapter is really really short but i didn't know what to write the day i wrote it so it is kind of a filler chapter but i like it because at the end it's sweet the next chapter will be up in a little while and i actually mean it this time.
