You were walking through the woods after you brought some food over to your grandmother's house. You talked with her for awhile and you realized that the sun was starting to set, so you hurried back home before the sky turned to night. Your mother, who used be Little Red Riding Hood when she was a child, warned you to be home by sundown because she was worried about you encountering a wolf in the woods. You thought she was overreacting because of a traumatic experience she had, but you still kept a close eye on any wild animal you might encounter in the woods.
As you were walking through the woods, while it was getting a little dark, you felt like you were walking in circles, which was starting to worry you. You and your mother moved to a different area of the woods and you, suddenly, realized that you forgot the map you brought with you to help you get home since there were so many pathways. You didn't know where you were going. You were lost. You rested against a nearby tree, feeling a little tired from walking and feeling a little frightened at the same time. "There's so many paths in the woods. I wish there was someone here that can help get me back home." You said to yourself.
Then, you, suddenly, heard rustling noises from behind you, which was starting to frighten you more. "Who is it? Who's there?" You asked, looking around. "Good evening, young lady." You gasped, as you stepped away from the tree after you heard a man's voice out of nowhere. You looked at the tree you rested against and saw a man-like wolf appearing from the side of the tree. He had dark shoulder-length hair, dark brown eyes, and a strange-looking mustache. He wore a blue zoot suit, which made him look very attractive, with a chain in the pocket of his pants, and a black and blue fedora hat with his ears sticking out at the top.
"Wh-Who are you?" You asked. "Just call me 'the Wolf', my dear." He said, in a deep mysterious voice. "Um, good evening, Mr. Wolf." You said, as you stared at his handsome facial features. He stepped towards you and asked, "And who might you be?" "I'm (y/n)." You answered. "(y/n). Such a beautiful name for a beautiful, luscious little girl like you." He said, as he ran his claw-like hand, slowly, under your chin, which sent chills down your spine and made your heart skip a beat. 'What is he doing to me? My heart is skipping a beat and I now I'm starting feel hot inside. This wolf is doing something to me I've never felt before in my life.' You thought to yourself. "I'm not a little girl, Wolf. I'm twenty years old." You said. The Wolf grinned at you after you told him your age.
"And what might you be doing here in the middle of the woods, my dear?" He asked, with a smirk. "I-I'm walking home from my grandmother's, but I'm lost. My mother and I moved to another area of the woods and I don't know the way back home." You answered. "Hm. You know, I was walking through the woods earlier and I happened to see a red-brown colored house a mile away from here down that path. Would that be your house?" The Wolf asked, pointing to a nearby pathway direction that was close to you. That made you feel better because you were worried that you were a long way from home, but you were actually getting closer. "Yes! That's my house! I'm happy to hear that I'm getting closer. Thank you so much for pointing that out. I'm gonna keep on going before it gets too dark." You said, as you were about to walk away from the Wolf.
But, then, you felt a soft hand grab your hand. You turned around and saw the Wolf holding your hand, as if he didn't want you to go. "How about I walk you home, my dear (y/n)? The sun will disappear very quickly. An enticing, pretty girl doesn't deserve to freeze to death in the dark, scary woods. I'll make sure you are safe and nothing happens to you while you're with me." He said. You thought about it for a second before you said, "Okay, Wolf. I'll take your offer. Thank you." "Perfect. We'll start walking down that path. Lady's first, darling." The Wolf said, gesturing you to walk ahead of him.
Without you looking, the Wolf had a mouth-watering look on his face as he watched you walk ahead of him. 'What a beautiful, delectable treat to have this evening. There's no possible way to describe what you feel when you're talking to your meal.' He thought to himself, as he started walking behind you, waiting for any opportunity to make his 'meal time' move on you, without you knowing.
As you were walking down the pathway during the mile journey to your house with the Wolf, you, for some reason, felt safe being around the Wolf. He seemed odd during the journey, like he would sometimes get too close to you from behind, but you thought he seemed adorable and even handsome. Your heart would skip a beat whenever you see him. It's like he put an enchanted spell on you with his hypnotic, gorgeous dark brown eyes.
"I really appreciate you walking me home, Wolf. I feel really safe with you here with me." You said, as you kept walking. After you said that, the Wolf felt something in his heart he's never felt before in his life. But he ignored that feeling and was focused on the right time to devour you. "Oh, it was my pleasure, Miss (y/n). It's so strange. The red hood that you're wearing reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood." The Wolf said. "That's because this red hood belonged to my mother, who was Little Red Riding Hood when she was a child." You said, which surprised the Wolf. "Really?" "Oh, yeah. She gave this to me for my eighteenth Birthday. She fixed it up and gave it to me." You said. "Well, I must say it does suit you very well." The Wolf said, as he was walking closer towards you, with a sinister grin on his face, without you knowing.
"Yeah. My mother is very overprotective...of me." You said, as you turned around to face the Wolf and he, quickly, changed his face by his claw finger in his mouth to make it look like he was intrigued before you saw him. "Oh, really? Why's your mother so overprotective of you, (y/n)?" He asked, trying to sound curious. "Because of a traumatic childhood experience she had." You started saying. "Oh, that's terrible. What exactly happened if you don't mind me asking? Tell me while you walk." The Wolf asked, also sound sympathetic. You turned around and continued walking and the Wolf changed his facial expression back to a hungry, sinister grin.
"Well, when my mother was little, as Little Red Riding Hood, she was delivering some bread over to her sick grandmother. Oh, watch out for that log right there, Wolf." You said, as you stepped over a log in front of you. The Wolf, on the other hand, wasn't concentrating on what you were saying and he ended up tripping over the log as he was about to make his move on you. "I thought it was very strange when she told me all about it." You said, not even noticing the Wolf falling from behind you. "She said that when she got to her grandmother's house, she was encountered by a wolf who dressed up like her grandmother and he tried to eat her." You said. The Wolf quickly got up, growling a bit for not catching you, and he ran up to you, hoping that you didn't see what he was gonna do to you. "Oh, that's just terrible, (y/n)." He said.
The woods was starting to lose light, but you had a feeling that you were getting closer to your house. But the Wolf kept following you very closely. "And when I came along, she became overprotective of me. Like when I wanna go to my grandmother's house, even when I got older, my mother always came with me because she didn't want me to walk through the woods all by myself, which was ridiculous because it was only a five minute walk to my grandmother's house. Once I became twenty, I told my mother that it was time for me to go through the woods on my own." You said, as you were approaching a tree branch and you pushed it out of your way. The Wolf had his claws up in the air towards you, with that grin never leaving his face. But before he could pounce on you, the tree branch you pushed out of the way swung back and hit the Wolf in the face.
"But I guess I was such an idiot to leave the map at my grandmother's and I ended up getting lost in the woods." You said, as you came to a complete stop. The Wolf brushed the leaves off of him before he quickly caught up to you, where you turned to face him. "But if it hadn't been for you, Wolf, I think I would've ended up as a wild animal's nighttime meal. You're absolutely caring, Wolf, and I really appreciate your help." You said, with a smile. When said all that, the Wolf, suddenly, felt that same feeling in his heart from earlier. It was at that moment, the Wolf started soften up towards you and not make you as his evening meal. He smiled back at you and said, "I'm glad that I was here to help you, (y/n)."
Then, you turned to a corner and gasped, quietly, when you saw patch of wildflowers right in front of you and the Wolf. You walked towards the patch of wildflowers and you sat on your knees and observed the beautiful flowers. The Wolf sat on his knees next to you and observed the flowers with you. "They're so pretty, Wolf. The sun is almost gone, but they still look beautiful." You said. Then, the Wolf picked up a yellow flower and he put it behind your right ear. You blushed when you felt his soft finger on your ear. "Now it's even more beautiful." He said, softly, and you blushed and smile even more.
A couple minutes later, the woods were starting to get dark, so you and the Wolf continued on with the journey to your house. Sooner or later, you finally reached your house. Some of the candles were lit up, which indicated that your mother was home, so you and the Wolf stopped near the exit of the pathway so your mother wouldn't see the two of you together. "Oh. It's so good to be home." You said. "You better get inside before you catch your death of cold." He said, and, then, he was about to turn back to the woods.
"Wait, Wolf." You said, as you took his hand, making him stop in his tracks. He turned back to you, confused. Then, you leaned forward and pressed your lips against his. The Wolf was taken by surprise at first, but, then, he caressed both of your cheeks with his hands as he kissed you, slowly and gently. Moments later, you both pulled away from the kiss and looked into each other's eyes. "What was that for, (y/n)?" He whispered. "It's my way of saying 'thank you' to you, Wolf." You whispered back. He smiled back at you and said, "You're welcome, my dear (y/n)." Then, he pecked your lips.
"Well, I better get back inside. I hope to see you again soon, Wolf." You said. "I hope to see you again soon as well, (y/n)." The Wolf said, while he ran the back of his finger down your cheek. "Good-bye, Wolf." "Good-bye, (y/n)." The Wolf said, and, then, he walked back on the pathway to the woods while you ran to your house. As soon as you got to the door, you heard a howling noise coming from the Wolf. You smiled when the howling echoed all around before you headed back inside your house.
