Sweeney Todd #6

Imagine Sweeney Todd searching for you after you discover his secret.

(A/N: I made my very first gif! ^^)

A couple weeks ago, you were hired as a waitress at Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop. You moved out of your parents' house so you could have an independent life to yourself instead of living under your parents' rules and expectations, like marrying a wealthy man instead of choosing on your own, for example. You saw a 'Help Wanted' sign at Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie shop and asked her if she was still hiring and, then, she hired you. Business was slow at first, but sooner or later, she somehow found a new recipe for her meat pies and she's been gaining more customers each day.

Since the day you started working for Mrs. Lovett, you've developed a crush on the day when you first met Sweeney Todd, a barber that owns a barbershop above the meat pie shop. Mrs. Lovett introduced you to Sweeney in his barbershop after you were hired and you both got to know each other. You couldn't help but find him very handsome with his slim body, his dark hair with a white stripe on the right side, and his handsome facial features. Whenever he was around you, he sometimes stared at you, with kindness in his dark brown eyes. Although, you sort of got an odd, creepy vibe coming off from him whenever you meet with him, like he was up to something that you were unaware about.

It was night time as you and Mrs. Lovett were closing up the shop for the night. For some reason, you noticed Mrs. Lovett was acting very strange when she was around you and Sweeney throughout the whole day. She looked as if she was guilty and seemed like she was up to no good. You had this feeling inside you that made you feel like you were in danger.

"(y/n)?" You heard Mrs. Lovett ask from behind you. "Yes, Mrs. Lovett?" You said, while you turned around to faced her. "I am aching to my bones and I need you to help me make more meat pies down in the cellar for the next day. Would you come down to the cellar with me so I can show you?" She asked. You were kind of confused that she was making you do the meat pies down in the cellar because she didn't allow you to go in there and you're more of a waitress than a baker. But you thought it would be helpful for her if she's tired from working so hard the last few days. You nodded and said, "Sure."

Then, Mrs. Lovett gestured you to follow her down the cellar that leads the bake house. Once you both entered the cellar, Mrs. Lovett instructed you on how to make the meat pies; grinding the meat with the meat grinder and how to work the oven. Before Mrs. Lovett headed towards the door, she told you that you're more than welcome to have as many meat pies as you like, which was nice because you were starving after a long week of working hard with the business. You thanked her and, then, she left the cellar, without you realizing that she locked the cellar door.

The cellar felt a little hot and it smelled horrible because it was near the sewers. But you didn't let that bother you since you could hear your stomach growling. You approached a tray filled with baked meat pies and you grabbed one to eat. But as you were walking before you ate it, you stopped in your tracks when you noticed something that grossed you out. A fingernail sticking out of the meat pie. You furrowed your eyebrows, in confusion and disgust, as you pulled it out and saw the full size of it. You dropped it on the ground and, then, you looked up at the meat grinder. You walked up to it and noticed what was in the meat grinder that made you want to vomit. Human body parts. You put your hand over your mouth as you gasped at the sight of it.

All of a sudden, you looked up when you heard a door open from up above you and a lifeless body fell down and hit the ground. It was the Beadle. You screamed, in horror, as you ran to the door, but it wouldn't open. "Let me out! Let me out!" You shouted, as you pounded on the metal door with your fist, panicking. But, then, you stopped pounding on the door because you realized that it was not the right thing to do. Pounding on the door and be face-to-face with Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd, the two that apparently kill people and use them in the meat pies. Thinking quickly, you ran around the corner that leads to the sewers and you hid behind a wall before you heard the sound of the metal door opening.

"(y/n)? Where is she?" You heard Mrs. Lovett's voice, speaking softly. You stayed silent as you heard footsteps, slowly, approaching the sewers. "(y/n), where are you, love?" You heard Mrs. Lovett singing, which sent chills down your spine. "(y/n)?" You heard Sweeney call out, making it echo all around. It made your heart race when you realized Mrs. Lovett wasn't alone as you suspected. It was the same man that you have a crush on. "Nothing's gonna harm you. Not while I'm around." Mrs. Lovett sang, creepily. "(y/n)?" Sweeney called out again.

You could hear Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney walking down the opposite pathway from where you were at and you tried to stay as quiet as you could. "Where are you hiding?" Mrs. Lovett sang. "(y/n)?" Sweeney called out. You glanced around the corner to see where they were and you noticed Sweeney had a razor in his hand and it was hidden behind his back. Your eyes widened as you hid back in your corner when you saw the razor and knew what it was meant for. "Nothing's gonna harm you, darling. Not while I'm around." Mrs. Lovett sang, creepily, for the last time. "(y/n)!" Sweeney said, sounding irritated.

Mrs. Lovett sighed, in frustration, and said, "She's nowhere to be found, Mr. T. We should've just finished her off in the first place when we decided this earlier. Do you think we should still look for her?" "No. Forget it. I have to deal with Turpin very soon. Let's get out of here." Sweeney said. Then, you heard footsteps moving quickly and they, suddenly, faded away and you heard the metal door squeaking. You had a feeling they were gone, so you moved out of your hiding spot and headed to the bake house.

But as you approached the bake house, you were, suddenly, grabbed from behind and a fingerless gloved hand covered your mouth. It scared you when you looked up and saw Sweeney behind you, with his razor in his other hand. You screamed through his hand as you were fighting to get out of Sweeney's grip, but he had a strong grip on you. "Stop struggling, (y/n)." He said, by your ear. You breathed heavily as you were scared of what he was gonna do to you. "Shh. Shh." He hushed you, softly, by your ear, as he took his hand off your mouth. You whimpered as you pleaded, with tears running down your cheeks, "Please, don't hurt me. I won't tell anyone. I promise."

"Shh. I'm not gonna hurt you, (y/n)." Sweeney said, as he put your head against his chest and held you close to him. "I would never hurt you." He added. For some reason, after he said that, you felt relaxed against him and when you felt his touch. But you were still scared that he's actually a killer. "But how could you do that, Sweeney? You killed poor innocent people and Mrs. Lovett used them for meat for her meat pies? How could you do that?" You asked, looking up at him. "I did it because I was so obsessed on plotting my revenge against Judge Turpin, I took it out on my customers." Sweeney said. You cried against his chest after he said that. You knew he was plotting his revenge against Turpin, but you didn't expect him to kill his customers because he was obsessed with the idea of how he was gonna do it to Turpin.

Sweeney put his razor away and wrapped his arm around your waist and he kept his other hand on the back of your head. "I know what I'm doing is wrong, (y/n), and I'm sorry that you now know the truth. Mrs. Lovett was the one that ordered me to cut your throat because she told me that she suspected that you knew what we did. But seeing you now, it proves that she has lied to me." He said, while he ran his fingers through your (h/l) (h/c) hair. "I don't trust her, Sweeney. I had a feeling that I was in danger when she acted strange around me earlier." You said. "I won't let her near you, (y/n). Not while I'm around." Sweeney said.

There was nothing but silence for a few seconds until Sweeney spoke again. "We'll leave together, (y/n). Tonight, after I deal with Turpin and Anthony rescues Johanna." He said. You looked at him, surprised. "You want me to run away with you, Sweeney?" You questioned. "Of course. I won't go anywhere without my (y/n)." He said. You were about to say something, but, then, Sweeney leaned down and kissed your forehead, softly. "Don't think I've never noticed those (e/c) eyes of yours staring at me whenever I'm around you. I've had a feeling you have feelings for me, love. I have the same feelings for you too." He said. You were loss for words after he confessed his feelings to you.

"Mr. T!" You both heard Mrs. Lovett's voice from a far away distance. Sweeney looked towards the direction for a second and, then, he looked back at you. "I'll distract Mrs. Lovett. I'll take her to my barbershop and keep her there, while you escape out of the meat shop. Hide in a nearby alleyway by the meat pie shop and I'll come get you." Sweeney instructed you. "You promise?" "I promise, love." He said, which made you smile. Then, he released you and was about walk out of the cellar. But before he left, he turned back to you and walked up to you, took your hand, and you both walked out of the cellar. He turned to you and said, "Be safe, (y/n). I'll come back for you." "Okay, Sweeney." You said.

Then, he leaned down and pecked your lips before he released your hand and walked into the meat pie shop to meet with Mrs. Lovett. You heard them talking before hearing the door open and close, which gave you the signal to run out of the meat pie shop and wait in an alleyway for Sweeney to come back. You hid within the shadows of the alleyway as you watched Sweeney's barbershop. 'I'll be waiting for you, Sweeney, my love.' You thought to yourself.

A few minutes had gone by and you finally saw Sweeney walking out of the barbershop, with Mrs. Lovett following behind him. It looked like he was talking to her and, then, she nodded and went back inside her meat pie shop. He watched her until she got inside, then, he ran towards the direction of where you were at. You looked at him and he gestured to come to him, quickly, and you ran to him. "Come on, (y/n). Let's get out of here. We'll be meeting Anthony and Johanna at the dock." He said, as he took your hand and the two of you ran as fast as you both can where you couldn't see Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pie Shop anymore.
