(A/N: This imagine involves the reader having Tourette's Syndrome, as requested.)
When you were seven years old, you were diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome. It was tough for you because you didn't make any friends and kids at school would make fun of you and mock you, especially your neighbor's daughter, Whitney Austin. But that soon changed when a boy named Johnny Depp, who was the same age as you, and his family moved into a house across from yours. When you first met him, you were worried that he was gonna make fun of you and not want to be your friend. But instead, he, kindly, introduced himself to you and he wasn't bothered or he didn't make fun of your Tourette's Syndrome. You both instantly became friends afterwards.
On Johnny's first day of school, he sat next to you in class and he stuck up for you when Whitney and the other kids were making fun of you. He even got sent to the principal's office after he called Whitney a bad name. Even though he got in trouble, especially on his first day of school, you still felt happy that he stuck up for you because no one has ever done that for you, except your family, and you were glad to have him as your friend who would have your back and make sure no one messes with you because of your condition. You and Johnny eventually remained close and became best friends.

The school bell rang as it was the end of another typical day for you and Johnny's Sophomore Year in high school. You walked up to your locker and opened it, where a small piece of paper fell down on the floor. You bend down to pick it up and opened the letter, while making a slight tic sound and your head twitched to the side because of your Tourette's, and read what it said from Johnny. 'Meet me at my locker now. I have something important to tell you. Johnny.' It read. You smiled down at it and, then, you closed your locker door and headed to Johnny's locker to meet him.
When you got to the hallway where Johnny's locker was located, you saw him leaning against his locker, with his arms crossed, looking very handsome and attractive, which made you blush instantly. He turned to your direction and he moved away from his locker, with what looked like a sad expression on his face. "Hi, Johnny. Ch-ch-ch-ch. I got your note. T-t-t-t. What did you want to tell me that's so important? Is everything alright? T-t. You seem like something is bothering you. Y-y-y." You asked, curiously. Johnny scratched the back of his neck and took a deep breath before he said, "(y/n), I've been thinking about this lately and I've finally made up my mind. I'm...I'm dropping out of school to follow my dream to become a rock musician."
After he said that, you furrowed your eyebrows and your heart started aching. "What?!" You exclaimed, and, then, your head twitched to the side when you did a tic sound. "Why, Johnny?" You asked. "Because this is the perfect opportunity to start my musician career, (y/n). The band that I'm in is all on board with traveling to Los Angeles to try to get a record deal." Johnny explained. You shook your head as you were fighting the tears back. "Los Angeles? Johnny, no. That's—t-t-t-t—That's crazy! You're just a kid and you ca-ca-can't leave in the middle of the school year!" You said. "But this is a once in life time opportunity, (y/n)." "No, Johnny. If you leave—ch-ch-ch-ch—I'll be losing my—y-y-y-y—my best friend. You're the only one who understands my condition besides my parents, your mom, and your siblings—s-s-s, unlike Whitney." You said, on the verge of tears.
"I'm sorry, (y/n). But I've made up my mind. Today's my last day of school and I'm leaving for L.A. tomorrow." Johnny said, looking regretful in his dark brown eyes. After he said that, the tears fell down your cheeks and you turned and walked away from him, with your head twitching from the tics. "(y/n), wait." Johnny said. You turned around to face him and said, with tears on your cheeks, "Forget it, Johnny. Ch-ch-ch. Have fun with your new li-li-li-life in Los Angeles and forget about me." Then, you turned around and ran out the exit doors, with a mixture of sobbing and tic sounds at the same time.
You couldn't believe this was happening. Your best friend was leaving you to travel with his band to Los Angeles during the middle of the school year. He was the first friend you made since you were little that never made fun of your Tourette's and would always stick up for you towards anyone, especially Whitney, that would make fun of you, even if meant getting himself in trouble when he was sent to the principal's office. But more importantly, he was the one that you've developed feelings for by the time you both got older.

The next two weeks after Johnny dropped out of school to travel to Los Angeles with his band, your life at school has been a living hell for you. Whitney and her friends had been picking on you and mocking your Tourette's almost every single moment of the day. It was just like elementary school, only worse. When Johnny was around you, Whitney and her friends wouldn't pick on you because Johnny wouldn't allow it and he would always insult them. But now that he's gone, Whitney and her friends could pick on you whenever they want to. You try to stick up for yourself, but your tics would get in the way and it would make Whitney and her friends laugh at you even more.
You missed Johnny so much, you wished every single moment of the day for him to come back.

It was the middle of the day of at school as you were opening your locker door to put your textbooks in your locker before you headed to the cafeteria for lunch. You sighed, sadly, like you do nowadays because of you missing Johnny. Then, suddenly, as you opened the door, your textbooks were slammed out of your hand and they fell on the floor before you heard laughing from behind you. "Look who dropped her books again." You heard Whitney's voice. You turned around and faced her and her group of friends. "Hi, d-d-d-dork." Whitney mocked you. "Cu-cu-cu—cut it out, Whitney." You said.
"Oh, I don't have to now that Johnny isn't around to save you." She said. "Wh-wh-wh-wh. You say that every day and it's getting old, Whitney." You said. Whitney's friends ended up laughing at you. "I know that because it's true. That handsome loser dropped out of school because of you and everyone knows that. I'll just keep saying that to you." Whitney said, with an evil grin on her ugly, fake blonde hair face. "And you'll just keep losing weight by barfing more, Whitney. Blah-blah-blah-blah." You said, making vomiting sounds with your tics.
After you said that, Whitney's facial expression went from evil grin to 'shocked as hell' face. A couple of her friends snickered, while the rest of them said 'ooh'. You smirked a little when you finally got back at Whitney for once. But, then, she pushed you hard against your locker door and you let out a groan. She grabbed the collar of your shirt and said closely to your face, "You're so gonna regret saying that, you little—" She was about to finish, but was interrupted when she was pushed away from you, causing her friends to gasp, in shock.
You turned your head to the side and saw none other than your best friend, Johnny. "You're gonna regret messing with (y/n), you blonde headed bimbo." He said. "What you doing back here, Johnny? I thought you were in Hollywood making your life more miserable." Whitney said, rudely. "I've decided to come back to my real home so that I could make your life miserable for picking on (y/n). Now why don't you and your friends get out of here and stop picking on (y/n) for once and get yourself a reduction on your bosoms while you're at it?" Johnny said, while insulting Whitney, which made her and her friends to gasp, in shock. You, on the other hand, were surprised when he said all that.
Whitney looked as if she was on the verge of tears and trying to come up with a better comeback towards Johnny, but she seemed like she was struggling to think of one. "You both are such freaks!" She cried, and, then, she walked away, sobbing, with her friends following behind her, as if they wanted to comfort her.
Once Whitney and her friends were gone, Johnny stepped up to you, while you, slightly, twitched your head, and he caressed both of your cheeks with both of his hands. "You okay, sweetheart?" He asked, sounding worried. "I'm fine. Ch-ch-ch. I just... I just can't believe you're here." You said, while you wrapped your arms around his waist and snuggled your head against his shoulder, feeling relaxed. He wrapped his arms around you and rubbed your back in small circles. "It's okay, (y/n). I'm here and I'm never leaving you again." Johnny said, softly, and, then, he placed a kiss on top of your head. Moments later, he pulled away from the hug, but kept his arm around your shoulder and said, "Come on. Let's go outside, sweetheart." You nodded and, then, you both walked down the hallway and exited outside.
When you and Johnny got outside, he walked you over to a nearby bench and you both sat down. "When—z-z—did you get back? I thought you and your band were all the way up in Los Angeles." "This morning. I was in Los Angeles with my band, struggling to get a record deal. But after a week and a half, the band and I broke up because...we just weren't cooperating and working together as a team as he we usual did back here. Plus, I felt like I made the biggest mistake of my life. I left my real home and my best friend behind. I couldn't stop thinking about you and the last time that I saw you and the last thing you said to me. Since that day, I felt so guilty for hurting you. I never wanted to hurt you, (y/n), especially...when I have feelings for you." He said, looking down at you.
You looked up at him after he said the last sentence. "What did you say, Johnny? Wh-wh-wh." You asked, twitching your head to the side. Then, without saying a word, Johnny caressed both of your cheeks with his hands again and he leaned down and pressed his lips against yours. You were surprised, at first, but you closed your eyes and kissed him back, hoping that you weren't gonna have a tic movement while you were enjoying this moment with Johnny. Thankfully, nothing interrupted the moment.
He pulled away from the kiss and he looked into your (e/c) eyes, with tenderness in his eyes, while he kept his hands on your cheeks. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to express my feelings towards you, (y/n)." Johnny whispered. "Same here, Johnny." You whispered back. "I promise I'll never leave you again, (y/n)." He said, softly. You smiled at him and said, "I miss having you by my side, Johnny. Ja-ja-ja." "Me too, (y/n)." Johnny said back. Then, you leaned forward and pressed your lips against his and he kissed you back, lovingly.
