After you graduated from college to study dance, you didn't have any place to stay after you moved out of your college dorm. You didn't want to move back to your parents because they live far away from where your college was and you wanted your own independence. Plus, there was a lot of dance job opportunities in the town where you were staying.

Eventually, you met Wade Walker, who goes by the name 'Cry-Baby', when you were teaching him some Boogie Woogie dance moves in a dance club you were part of. You mentioned to him about your living situation and he immediately offered you a place to stay. He lived in a mansion with thirteen other men that were known as 'the JD Characters'. At first, you wasn't sure if you were comfortable living in a mansion with fourteen men and you didn't want to be a burden to them. But when you met them, they were nice to you and they don't mind having you live with them and they told you wouldn't be a burden to them at all. You changed your mind and you moved into their mansion.

After you moved in, you quickly got adjusted to your new living space. You got to know every JD Character and they all got to know you and were even interested in learning any new dance moves from you. They also told you that they promised to look after you and protect you from any harm, which made you feel more comfortable and safe living with them.

You've been living with the JD Characters for six months now.

A couple weeks after you moved in, you got a job offer as a dance instructor at a local dance studio. You enjoyed your new job because you got to teach any type of dance genre that you knew very well and you got to teach dance moves from any age, including children. Everything was going well with your job for next five months until you got a new employer named Amber after your former employer retired. You and the other dance instructors didn't like her because she's been treating everyone, especially you, horribly ever since day one. For example, she's been making you work harder and vigorously if a client of yours messed up on a dance move and you would have to stop in the middle of routine to help the client with the correct dance move. It was good exercise, but your muscles ached every single day.

Recently, she told you that you needed to lose weight and go on a special diet because she said that you'll set a bad example for your clients if they see the way you look. After she said that, you've been staring at yourself in the mirror to check out your body image. With the new vigorous dancing exercises, being stressed from your employer, and checking on your body, your mind has been off on one thing. Your appetite.

It was around nine o'clock in the evening as some of the JD Characters, John Dillinger, Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow, Mort Rainey, Sweeney Todd, Barnabas Collins, Cry-Baby, Don Juan DeMarco, and Mad Hatter, were at the dining room table, playing poker. John and Mort smoked their cigarettes at the table while Jack drank his own rum and Hatter drank a cup of tea while playing. The other JD Characters, Sam, Edward Scissorhands, Glen Lantz, and Ichabod Crane were hanging out in the living room by the dining room table, watching the poker game since they didn't anything to do. The only JD Character that wasn't present was The Wolf; he was kept outside after he nearly had Sam for lunch after Sam accidentally bumped into him while he was practicing his Buster Keaton moves.

"Hey! No cheatin'!" John said, glaring at Barnabas, while smoking his cigarette. "What makes you think I am cheating?" Barnabas questioned. "Well, John's gotta a point. We can't trust you with your vampire vision, Barnabas." Mort said, while smoking his cigarette. "I don't have vampire vision." Barnabas denied. "Vampire vision sounds very delightfully interesting." Hatter said, lisping a bit. "You can't trust a vampire." Sweeney said, while observing his cards. "Not as much as a Wolf who tries to eat you." Sam said, pointing to the Wolf, who was standing against the sliding glass door. "Get over it, Sam. I'm sure he feels bad for almost eating you." Glen said.

Jack gasped, drunkly, out of nowhere and, then, he started laughing. "Ha! I got it! I win! Where's me gold?" He said, as he slammed his cards on the table, revealing the inside of his cards. Some of the Characters groaned, in annoyance, of his slightly drunken state. "Jack, for the hundredth time, we're playing poker." Mort said. "And now that you've revealed your cards, you're automatically out." DeMarco said, with his Spanish accent. Jack pouted as he slouched back and grabbed his bottle of rum. "Why must these things always happen to me?" He asked himself, as he drank out of his rum bottle, only to find out that it's empty. Jack grumbled as he looked inside the bottle. "Why's the rum always gone?" He asked himself, once again.

"Hey, guys. When do you think (y/n) will be home? It's around nine and she should be home by now." Ichabod asked. "I'm sure she'll be home soon. Maybe she had to work overtime. She's a hard working dancer after all. She's a talented sweetheart." Willy said, gleefully. "Do you think she'll get mad for the smell?" Edward asked. "She won't get mad, Eddy. She's seen me and Mort smoke and she said that the smell doesn't bother her since she's used to her old man smoking. Don't worry." John said.

You pulled your car up to the driveway after you got done with another hard working day at work. As you were getting out of the car, you felt slightly dizzy and stopped for a moment. "Ugh. Stupid vigorous dancing exercises, Amber getting on my nerves, and I'm tired to the bone. Why can't I just have a day when things are not so stressful?" You said to yourself, sounding cranky. When you thought your dizziness went away, you got out of your car, grabbed your dance bag, and headed to the entrance door.

When you got inside, you got a wiff of the smell of cigarettes. You figured the guys were in the other room somewhere nearby. You went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water and you saw some of the Characters at the dining room table playing poker and the others in the living room. "Hey! There's our dancing star!" Cry-Baby said, which made everyone turn and look at you. They all greeted you with 'hello' and asked you if you wanted to play poker, but you declined their offer. "I'll play next time, you guys. I just got home." You said, slightly cranky. "You look exhausted, little rosebud." DeMarco said, looking worried. "I had a busy day at work. Dancing for a long time and dealing with my boss. I just—" You were about to finish your sentence, but, then, you put your hand on your forehead feeling the dizziness coming back.

"You okay there, love?" Jack asked. "Does your head hurt?" Ichabod asked. "Do you need something to eat?" Mort asked. Your head was starting to hurt more as you were getting annoyed by them asking you questions. You slammed your water bottle on the counter and said, angrily, "Will everyone stop asking me questions?! I'm fine! Look, I just got home from work and I did not expect to come home with the smell of cigarettes in the air and...why is Wolf outside? No. It doesn't matter." Everyone was shocked by your sudden outburst. They all stared at you wide-eyed because they've never seen you act like that and it wasn't like you at all. "Whoa! Easy there, (y/n). They were just asking, love." Sweeney said. "This is isn't like you at all." Hatter pointed out. "What's going on, (y/n)? You can tell us, sweetheart." Barnabas said. "There's nothing wrong with me. I just...need some rest." You said.

But as you were about to turn, your dizziness got more worse where you ended up collapsing on the floor. "(y/n)!" Every Character exclaimed, as they ran over to you, concerned. "Help her to the couch!" John said. Then, Sweeney and Jack both picked you up and carried you to the living room couch, where they both set you down, gently. Hatter and DeMarco sat down next to you, rubbing your shoulders and arms as you leaned your head back against the couch, feeling weak. "Sam, go get her some orange juice. Willy, get her some chocolate." Ichabod told them and the two of them headed to the kitchen. "Here's a blanket." Glen said, as he wrapped a blanket around you.

Moments later, Sam and Willy came back to the living room, with a glass of orange juice with a straw in it and a chocolate bar. They handed them to John, who was kneeling down in front of you. "Here. Drink this, (y/n)." He said, and, then, he held the glass of orange juice up to you and you drank out of the straw. "Good girl." Hatter said, as he continued rubbing your shoulder. After you drank the whole glass, John put the glass down on the coffee table behind him, opened the chocolate bar, broke a piece, and handed it to you. "Eat this." He said. You took the piece of chocolate and started eating it, in small bites.

"How do you feel, (y/n)?" Edward asked. "A little better, I guess. Sorry I scared you guys and for my behavior earlier." You apologized. "It's alright, (y/n). We forgive you, sweetheart." Willy said. "But still, we like to know what's wrong with you, (y/n). This is not like you at all." Barnabas said. "Please, tell us, darling." Ichabod said. "Whatever it is, just tell us." Mort said. You took a deep breath and confessed, "The reason why I got so dizzy and collapsed on the floor and why I was cranky earlier is because I...haven't eaten anything for three days."

Everyone was shocked when they heard that you haven't eaten for three days. "Three days?!" Jack said. "You haven't eaten anything for three days?" Cry-Baby questioned. "Glen, go make something for her! Quick!" Sweeney said, and, then, Glen ran to the kitchen. "(y/n), do you have any idea how dangerous this is to your body? You're damaging your organs by doing this." Ichabod explained. "You know better than that, (y/n). You graduated from college and you know stuff like this." Mort said. "Why are you doing this, (y/n)? Did something happen at work recently that made you do this?" John asked.

Tears were starting to form in your eyes as you said, "It's my new employer, Amber. She's been stressing me out lately and treating me, horribly, by making me dance more and stop in the middle of a dance to help a client fix their dance move. She recently told me that I needed to lose weight and be on a special diet because I'll end up being a bad example to my clients if they see my body like it was three days ago. I know what I did was wrong. I was worried about losing my job if I didn't follow her expectations. I just couldn't stop thinking about those words she said to me and I just started losing weight the wrong way. My head hurts and my muscles are really sore."

"(y/n), as delicate as you are like a red rosebud blooming in the snow, you should not do this sort of thing to your beautiful body. It is not right to take the horrible words from someone who is wicked and put them into action where it can ruin you." DeMarco said. "He's right, (y/n). Don't listen to that Amber because she does not sound nice at all." Hatter said. "You're already beautiful, (y/n), and you're an amazing dancer. Don't be someone that you're not. Be yourself and don't let that employer put you down." Barnabas said. "You're sweet as candy and that's how everyone knows you for who you are. That Amber, on the other hand, doesn't know you." Willy said.

You smiled at everyone around you after hearing some of their encouraging words to you. It made you feel even more better. "Thank you, guys. I feel so much better. I really appreciate it and I'm sorry for making a bad decision on my appetite." You said. "We forgive you, (y/n). You can always talk to us if you're ever stressed about anything, even if it has nothing to do with your job." Ichabod said. "You just can't forget about your appetite." Sweeney added. You chuckled, softly, and nodded.

"But what about my job? I don't feel comfortable going back there now." You said. "Maybe you should leave that dance studio and look for somewhere else to work." John suggested. "Wait a second. I have a better idea. Why don't you start your own dance studio here? You know, do some private dance lessons here with your clients?" Sam said, which everyone started agreeing on. You were intrigued with the idea, but, then, you asked, "But are you sure, you guys?" "Heavens, yes, we're sure, (y/n). You can have private dance lessons here and your clients can pay you for it." Willy said. "Plus, you've got a lot of dancing experience." Cry-Baby added. "Hey, you can be your own boss, love." Jack said, which made you chuckle. "And we wouldn't mind setting up one of our spare rooms and making it into your own dance studio." Mort said.

You thought about the idea for a bit. "My own dance studio. It would be nice to have one of my own. Plus, I'll be my own boss and make money. I think it's a wonderful idea, you guys. I'm up for it. I'll leave my job and I'll open my own private dance lessons here." You said. Everyone smiled at your decision and they each gave you a hug. "Thanks, you guys. I love you all so much." You said. "And we love you too." Edward said.

Moments later, Glen broke up the group hug after he announced that he has dinner ready for you. He made you your favorite sandwich and some salad with your favorite dressing and he poured you a glass of water. He brought your dinner on a tray and carried it to the living room so you didn't have to walk to the dining room table since you mentioned about your muscles being sore. "Thank you, Glen." You said. "You're welcome, (y/n)." He said, as he set the tray down in front of you on the coffee table.

But before you ate your dinner, you remembered something. "By the way, why is Wolf still outside and what did he do this time?" You asked, curiously. Everyone, except Sam, started laughing before one of them answered. "He got mad at Sam earlier and almost had him for lunch, so we decided to let the 'dog' outside for a bit." Hatter explained. Then, you started laughing, which made Sam pout. "Okay. Let him in." You said, and, then, Cry-Baby went to the door and let Wolf in. He looked around, curiously, before he asked, "What did I miss? I couldn't hear you guys from outside."
