JD Characters #2
Imagine it's your Birthday and the JD Characters decide to surprise you.
*Part 2 Suggested by GrindelwaldSparrow*
(A/N: Since it's my Birthday today (Feb. 12th), I've decided to add a Birthday imagine into this one for you all. This is Part 2 to JD Characters #1 and this is the only imagine that will be in parts.)
Today's a special day for you. Today's your Birthday. You were so excited to turn (y/a). But at the same time, you were bummed that you had to go to work to do some 'open door' therapy sessions.
It's been two weeks since that one day session with the fourteen gentlemen that you had individual sessions with each of them because they were struggling to express their differences to the public, especially since their facial features looked oddly similar. Since that day, you've been thinking about them and how they were doing after the therapy session with them. You hoped the advice you gave them had helped them so they could express themselves to the public.
You walked towards your office when you saw something unusual. The door to your office was cracked open. 'I swore I locked it yesterday before I left.' You thought to yourself. Then, you thought someone had broken into your office, which was starting to worry you. Slowly, you opened the door and your office lights were still off. You closed the door behind you and you switched on the lights.
"Surprise!" A group of men said out loud. You yelped, in surprise, as you weren't expecting to be surrounded by the fourteen men you had the individual sessions with. You looked at all fourteen of the men, who all had smiles on their faces as they looked at you, with excitement and some presents in their hands. You also noticed that your office was neatly decorated with Birthday stuff, like streamers, colorful balloons, and confetti.
"Oh, my goodness. This is quite a surprise. I wasn't expecting you gentlemen to be here. I can't believe it." You said, happily. "Well, we wanted to make this day a special day for you, Miss (y/n)." Willy Wonka said, with that gleeful smile of his.
"But how did you all know it's my Birthday today and...and how did you guys get into my office without a key?" You asked, curiously. "Edward picked the lock with his cool scissorhand." Glen Lantz explained. "I did it." Edward Scissorhands added, sounding somewhat timid, as he held up his scissorhand. "I see." You said, sounding convinced. "And we found out about your Birthday because Mort glanced at your calendar when you were talking with him." John Dillinger said, while gesturing Mort, who waved 'hi' to you.
You chuckled and said, sweetly, "That's so thoughtful of you all to do this for me. I really appreciate it. But you guys didn't have to do all of this." Then, Don Juan DeMarco walked up to you and he put his finger up to your lips while shushing you, kindly. "No, no, Miss (y/n). Do not say that, sweetheart. You, as delicate as a red rose on a everlasting sunny day in the Spring, deserve a wonderful day of your life." He said, in his unique accent, which you find very attractive.
"Plus, it's our way of saying 'thank you' and giving you something in return after our individual sessions, my dear (y/n)." Barnabas Collins said. You were surprised to hear that they wanted to do this for you because of the individual sessions from a couple weeks ago. "Really?" "Absolutely, love." Jack Sparrow answered, sounding a bit drunk. "You've told us to express ourselves to the public and now, people are accepting us for who we are." Sam said. "Even when I get so frightened easily from the most strangest things." Ichabod Crane added. "Or when I'm talking to my own meal that I typically find it so delectable." The Wolf said, with a slurp. "Or when I need to take a break from my sharp 'friend' and meet the real friends out there." Sweeney Todd added. "Or even when people still can't understand why a raven is like a writing desk." Mad Hatter added, with a giggle. "It feels real good to be ourselves out there. It's all thanks to you, doll." Cry-Baby said, with his attractive voice.
Your heart was fluttering after you found out that your advice worked and they all feel accepted to the public now. For all this time, you thought about them and how they were doing after you've talked with them, separately. You thought you didn't do so well with them and you thought you could've done better. But now, you feel extremely confident about your career as a therapist and how well you did, especially since they were all your first clients. This made your Birthday even more better.
"Aw, you guys. I'm so happy to hear that. I'm so proud of you guys for going out there and expressing your differences to the public. You all just made my Birthday even better." You said. "And we'll make it even more better for you, (y/n), by giving you some presents and some kisses." Willy said, as he walked towards you, placed his purple gloved hand on the small part of your back, which caused you to blush, and escorted you to your desk chair. "Aw, thank you. But not on the lips since I can't date my clients." You said, slightly disappointed, as you sat down on your chair. All the guys laughed about it. "Especially you two." You added, gesturing towards Glen and Cry-Baby.
The first person to give you a present was Edward, who had given you a flower pot with a small bush inside it that was in the shape of a heart that he cut himself with his own scissorhands. Sam helped him place it on your desk since he couldn't hold it with his hands. "Edward, it's beautiful. Thank you. I gotta say, your talent for sculpting things with your scissorhands will really capture everyone's attention." You said. "Thank you, (y/n)." Edward said, as he leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on your cheek before stepping away. You giggled at the way he walked.
After that, Ichabod stepped forward and showed you something that you've never seen before. It was a disk with two strings attached to it and it had a picture of a red bird on one side of the disk and a picture of a birdcage on the other side. "What is this, Ichabod?" "It's a thaumatrope. It's like a little toy as you would say it. All you do is this." Ichabod said, as held up the toy by the strings and started spinning it with the strings. "Wow." You said, softly, as you watched the magic happen. The bird looking like it's in the birdcage when spinning the toy. "Ichabod, that is so cool. It's like seeing magic happen. This could definitely help me when I'm feeling stressed. Thank you." You said. "You are most welcome, Miss (y/n)." Ichabod said, as he handed you the toy and, then, he grabbed your other hand and placed a kiss on top of it before he stepped out of the way.
Mort stepped up to give you your present from him. "I got you this book that was written by me. In fact, since our individual session, it gave me confidence to finish it up. It just got published recently and I wanted you to be the one to receive the very first copy. I hope you like it, even if it's not the kind of genre you read." He explained, as he handed you the book. "Of course I'll read it, Mort. I wanna read something new once in awhile. Thank you." You said, while smiling. Then, Mort leaned down and placed a kiss on top of your head and he stepped away.
Then, you heard someone sniffing, closely, beside you on your left. You looked to the left and saw The Wolf standing beside you, with a bouquet of tulips. "You smell so good, my dear, and I'm sure these flowers will make you smell even better." He said, as he handed you the bouquet of tulips and you smelled them. Tulips are one of your favorite flowers after all. "Thank you, Wolf. They do smell good." You said. The Wolf, then, leaned down and whispered, "I promise I won't eat you." Your eyes widened for a bit before he placed a kiss on your cheek.
Glen stepped up and he handed you a small tape. "Here you go, (y/n). It's a remix tape of the coolest songs of the 80's. I played it all the time whenever I was scared to sleep at night because I thought Freddy Krueger was gonna kill me in my sleep." He said. "Thank you, Glen. I'm sure I'll recognize some of these songs on this tape." You said. Glen sent you a smile and, then, he stepped aside.
After that, John stepped forward and said, "I don't have much to give to you, (y/n), but I have this champagne bottle to give you a little something to help celebrate your Birthday with." Then, he handed you the bottle of champagne and you giggled. "This is great, John. Thank you. I'll definitely drink some of this champagne, but not too much." You said, with a wink at the end. All the guys laughed, including John. "I'm glad you like it, baby girl." He said, and, then, he leaned down and placed a kiss on top of your head before stepping away.
Then, Jack stepped forward like a klutz and he placed a brown string-like necklace over your head. You looked down and was awestruck when you saw a real solid gold doubloon tied to it. "It's not worth something to me, I've got plenty of those me self. I figured you would like to have it." Jack said, slurring a bit. You chuckled and said, "This is so beautiful, Jack. Thank you." "You're welcome, love." Jack said, as he grabbed your hand and placed a kiss on top of it before stepping away with his klutzy walk.
Cry-Baby strutted up to you, trying to look cool and attractive. He took off his shades and he looked down at you. "Hello, doll. I don't have much to give you, but I would like you to have these shades. They'll make you look cool, (y/n)." He said. You giggled and said, "Thank you, Cry-Baby. I'll definitely wear them." Cry-Baby winked and clicked his tongue, twice, before he blew me an air kiss and stepped away.
Then, Barnabas stepped forward and said, "Hold out your wrist, my dear (y/n)." Then, you did what he told you to do and he slipped a diamond bracelet on your wrist. "It's one of my family treasures. It reminded me of you, (y/n)." Barnabas said. "It's gorgeous, Barnabas. Are you sure you wanna give away your family bracelet?" You asked, feeling guilty. "I insist, darling. Plus, it looks beautiful on you." He said, as he, gently, grabbed your hand with his cold hand, which made you gasp, and stroked the top of it with his thumb. "Well, thank you, Barnabas." "You are most welcome, my dear (y/n)." Barnabas said, before he leaned down and placed a cold kiss on top of your hand. He, then, stepped aside.
Hatter stepped forward and he handed you a handmade hat with different multiple types of colors stitched together. "Since you thought my hat was very interesting, I thought I'd make one for you, Miss (y/n)." Hatter said. "It is interesting. Thank you, Hatter." You said, and, then, he gave you a warm hug, which made you giggle, before he joined the others.
After that, Sam stepped up, tipped his hat that looked like something Buster Keaton would wear, and he handed you a handkerchief. "It's my lucky handkerchief. I use it during my performances in front of people. They laugh and enjoy it. Since our talk, I've decided to try and write again. I wrote 'Love, Sam' on it." He explained. "Aw, that's good that you tried writing again, Sam. I'm so proud of you. And thank you for the lucky handkerchief." You said. Then, Sam leaned down and, hesitantly, kissed you on the cheek before stepping to the side and joining the others.
Up next was Don Juan, who held a single red rose out to you. "This rose reminded me so much of you, dear sweet (y/n). Beautiful, delicate, and elegant." He said, seductively, which caused you to blush. He gave you the rose and, then, he kneeled down in front of you and caressed both of your cheeks with both of his hands. "Happy Birthday to you, my little rose." He whispered, and, then, he leaned up and kissed you, softly, on the forehead before he sent you a smirk while standing up.
Then, Sweeney stepped forward and he handed you a silver object. "Your talk helped me realize that I need to focus on the real friends all around me instead of the the smallest objects that I call 'my friends'. It used to be my sharp little friend, but now it's a comb. Thought you could use it on the go." He explained. "I could definitely use it when I'm having a bad hair day. Thank you, Sweeney." You said. "You're welcome, Miss (y/n)." Sweeney said, before he leaned down and kissed the top of your head and stepped aside.
Finally, the last person to give you a present was Willy. He walked over to you and handed you a small box. "It's a box of my famous chocolate, (y/n). Since you loved my chocolate so much, I've decided to name this box of chocolate that I've invented a few days ago, '(y/n) Hearts'." He said, excitedly. Then, you stood up from your chair and you wrapped your arms around Willy's torso and hugged him. He giggled and wrapped his arms around you. "Thank you so much, Willy." You said. "You are most welcome, (y/n)." He said, before he kissed your cheek and rubbed your back with his gloved hand.
You, slightly, pulled away from the hug and you looked at the others. "Thank you all so much. You all made this the best Birthday I could ever wish for." You said, before you gestured all of them to come over for a group hug. They all walked forward and they all, except Edward, wrapped their arms around you. Edward just leaned his head from behind you since he didn't want to hurt you with his hands. You smiled at the gentlemen all around you. 'I'm so glad I came into work on my Birthday.' You thought to yourself.
