Imagine you and the JD Characters taking care of a kitten.

It was a cold, snowy Winter Friday evening as you were walking through downtown, doing some last minute Christmas shopping with your roommates, Sweeney Todd, Wade 'Cry-Baby' Walker, Tarrant 'Mad Hatter' Hightopp, The Wolf, Willy Wonka, and Gellert Grindelwald, also known as the 'JD Characters'. Christmas was tomorrow and the weather channel announced that a blizzard was coming later in the evening, so you thought it would be nice to get out of the apartment with your roommates and do some shopping.

You and the JD Characters were walking through town, all bundled up, after you all just finished shopping. The sky was starting to turn a little dark and the snow was starting to come down fast, indicating that the blizzard was coming. "We should get home. The snow is starting to pick up." You said. "Couldn't agree with you more, sweetheart." Hatter said, lisping a bit. "When we get home, I'll make some of my famous homemade hot chocolate." Willy said. "Mm. That's sounds so good, Willy. We could definitely go for some hot chocolate after a long day of shopping." Cry-Baby said, in his attractive voice. "Like shopping for a lot of hair products for your greased hair?" The Wolf said. "Oh, not as bad as Sweeney purchasing a lot of shaving cream." Gellert added. "Well, everyone needs a good shave, Mr. Grindelwald." Sweeney said, giving off a creepy vibe.

"Alright, you guys. Let's get out of this blizzard before we all freeze to death." You said, as you and the JD Characters continued walking through town, heading back to the apartment. The snow was coming down even more, the ground was now covered by one to two inches of snow.

As you and the JD Characters were walking by an alleyway, you heard a faint tiny, squeak-like meow out of nowhere. You stopped in your tracks to look back in the alleyway to see what it was. The JD Characters stopped in their tracks and looked to see what you were doing. "Are you okay, (y/n)?" Sweeney asked. But you didn't answer his question. "Did you guys hear that?" You questioned. They all looked around, confused. "Hear what, sweet (y/n)?" Gellert asked.

Then, you heard that same tiny, squeak-like meow again. "There it is again!" You exclaimed. "Was that you, Wolf?" Hatter said. "You're really mad, Hatter. It wasn't me." The Wolf said. "You guys, that was a meow coming from a baby cat." Cry-Baby said. "It's called a 'kitten', Cry-Baby." Willy corrected him. Then, you all heard a kitten meow two more times. "And it sounds like it's in trouble!" You said, worried, as you started walking down the alleyway, looking for the kitten, with the JD Characters following you, helping you look for it. When you heard a meow nearby, you found a seven week old skinny, but fluffy gray kitten in a big box, with snow starting to pile up in it.

You quickly took the kitten out of the box and took it over to the JD Characters. "Hey, guys, I found it!" You said. They all looked at the kitten, with admiration in their eyes. "The poor thing is hungry and shaking. It's probably cold." You said, as you were feeling the kitten shake in your arms. "Here. Give me the kitten. I'll keep it warm." The Wolf said, holding out his paw-like hands towards you. Then, you handed the kitten to the Wolf and he, gently, held the kitten against his warm, toasty chest. "Aw. It's still shaking." He said. Hatter, voluntarily, took his fuzzy scarf off his neck and he wrapped it around the kitten. "There you go, little one." He said, sweetly.

"Let's take it home. The snow is getting worse." Sweeney suggested. "Let's quickly get some kitty supplies to help the little one." Cry-Baby said. "Good idea, gentlemen. Let's get out of here, get some kitten supplies, and head home." You said, and, then, you all walked out of the alleyway, with the kitten, and headed over to the nearest pet store to get some supplies to help the kitten.

After getting some kitten wet and dry food and other necessary things for the kitten, you and JD Characters headed back to your shared apartment. Gellert started the fire in the fireplace with his wand and you all gathered in the living room, with the kitten, who happened to be a girl, wrapped in a warm blanket. You bought a syringe with the supplies and put the wet food mixed with water in it before using it to feed the kitten to help build up strength. It was difficult at first because it was a little weak to eat, but after giving it tiny drops, she finally cooperated and ate the wet food through the syringe.

The JD Characters loved and admired the kitten so much, they each wanted to hold her. With the now sleeping kitten still wrapped in the blanket, each JD Character held her close to their chest, like a baby, to keep her warm. Sweeney was currently holding her in his arms as he looked down at her sleeping form that reminded him of his daughter, Johanna. "She's so precious. She's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen." He said, softly, as he petted the top of the kitten's head with his finger.

"How did she end up in the box in the alleyway? The poor little darling would've froze to death." Hatter said, looking out the back sliding glass door to see the blizzard and the snow now piled up to a foot in measure. "We'll never know, Hatter. She must've been left behind and someone must've found her and decided to put her in that box. There's cruel people out there." You said. "But now she's safe here with us." The Wolf said. "And if anyone tries to harm her or any other animal when I witness it the next time, I will not hesitate to use my dark magic to annihilate them." Gellert said, with a hint of anger in his voice. "I'm with you on that, Gellert. Not only does lightning make me insane, but so can cruel people. They make me angry. They drive me insane." Cry-Baby said, with a crazed expression on his face.

"Cruel people are so mean." Willy said, as he brought out a tray full of seven mugs that were filled with Willy's homemade hot chocolate. He set it on the coffee table in the center and everyone, except Sweeney and Willy, grabbed a mug. "Can I hold her now, Sweeney?" Willy asked, while sitting next to him on the couch. "Of course, Willy." Sweeney answered, and, then, he, gently and carefully, hands the sleeping kitten to Willy. "Oh, she is so adorable. The way she is sleeping is making my heart melt like chocolate." Willy said, while looking down at the kitten.

There was nothing but silence for a minute until Hatter spoke. "(y/n), my dear, are we going to keep the kitten?" He asked, which got everyone's attention. "Of course we're going to keep her, Hatter. We all love her so much, there's absolutely no reason to get rid of her. She's part of the family now." You said, which made everyone smile. "You know from all the commotion and admiring our newest family member, we didn't get the chance to name her." Sweeney said. "You're right, Sweeney. She does need a name. But what should we name her?" You said. "Fluffy?" The Wolf suggested. "Oh, that name is so, so common, fur ball. How about...'Cool'?" Cry-Baby suggestion next, which made you and the others look at him as if he was crazy. "You're weird, Cry-Baby." Willy said.

"How about 'Luna'?" Gellert suggested. You and everyone looked at him, with a questioned look. "Well, I thought her shade of color sort of reminded me of the moon." He explained. Then, you and the JD Characters nodded, in agreement. "Luna. I like that name. Great name suggestion, Gellert." You said. "I think it suits her quite well." Hatter commented. "She looks like a 'Luna'." Sweeney said. "Much better than 'Fluffy'." The Wolf said. "And 'Cool'." Cry-Baby added. "Well, Luna it is, then. Welcome to the family, little Luna." Willy cooed down at the sleeping kitten, making you and the JD Characters chuckled at his reaction.

It was early Christmas morning as you and the JD Characters were fast asleep in the same spots that you all were sitting last night after watching over Luna. You all stayed up almost all night watching over her to see how she was doing. She did great with the wet food and she slept most of the time, which was probably a good thing because she was probably exhausted and need some goodnight sleep. After watching her for awhile, you and the JD Characters were starting to feel tired and you all fell asleep, with Gellert holding Luna in his arms.

You woke up to the sound of Luna meowing. You stirred a little bit, rubbed your eyes, and Luna standing next to you. She saw you waking up and, then, she meowed again and rubbed her head against your face, while purring. You smiled as you sat up and yawned before picking up Luna. "Everyone, wake up. It's Christmas morning and Luna is doing great." You said, out loud, and, then, the JD Characters started waking up.

Once very JD Character had completely woken up, they looked down at Luna in your arms, with smiles on their faces. "Aw. Good morning there, (y/n) and little Luna." "Oh, (y/n), she's all better." Hatter said, excitedly. "A little skinny, but at least she's up and walking around." Sweeney said. "I'm so glad we found her in the alleyway. I don't even want to think about the worst. Thank goodness for your good hearing, (y/n)." The Wolf said. "All I can say is that (y/n) has brought a Christmas miracle to us." Gellert said. "Definitely agree with you, Gellert. (y/n), we're very thankful for you finding Luna and making this the best Christmas for all of us now that we have a new member of the family." Willy said, which made you blush and smile even more.

"It was my pleasure. I love cats and I'm glad that I found Luna and made her part of this family. Our very unique, loving family." You said, while looking down at Luna. After you said that, every JD Character came up to you and formed a group hug. You hugged them all back as you were feeling everyone's warmth and love surrounding you and Luna. "I love you guys." You said. "We love you too, (y/n) and little Luna." The JD Characters said all at once. Then, you all pulled away from the hug and Cry-Baby spoke. "What do you say we get started on breakfast before we unwrap our Christmas presents?" "I think that's a great idea, Cry-Baby. I'm starving." The Wolf said. "And I think Luna is too." Hatter said, as he, gently, took Luna from your arms and held her. You and the JD Characters, then, headed to the kitchen to make some Christmas breakfast before opening Christmas presents later on.
