Jack Marshall #1
Imagine you're staying at a resort during the summer and you, unexpectedly, meet Jack Marshall.
(A/N: In case any of you don't know who this character is from, he's from the 1985 summer comedy film, "Private Resort".)
Summer was finally here and you've decided to go on a little vacation at a resort in Miami after finishing up with school. The resort that you were staying at was very crowded, but it didn't bother you, thankfully. You thought it would be a great chance to meet some new people and hang out with them since you were vacationing alone.
So far, you haven't met one person yet. It was difficult for you to meet new people because you don't really meet new people very often. You hoped you would, eventually, meet someone later on while you're vacationing.

The sun was starting to go down and some people were leaving the pool area. You were sitting next to the pool on the deep end, with your feet in the water, in your (f/c) slimming skirted one-price swimsuit. All you did was look down at the water, cooling off from the sun and watching people chatting with others. You, then, glanced up at the sky and saw the sun going down. 'I should probably head back to my room pretty soon.' You thought to yourself.
But your thoughts were soon interrupted when you were, suddenly, pushed into the pool and splashed into the water. You started panicking as you were trying to swim to the surface for air, but you kept going under the water. It was scaring you. It was like reliving a childhood moment of yours all over again. A near-death drowning experience. You were about to give up when your muscles were starting to ache and water was getting into your mouth.
Then, all of a sudden, you felt a pair of arms wrapping around your torso and you were pulled up to the surface, where you took a big, deep breath of air. The pair of arms were still wrapped around your torso as they lifted you up and onto the pavement next to the pool. You started coughing up a bit of water and started taking deep breaths, feeling relieved that you were out of the pool, but you felt your heart racing since you were still frightened after what just happened. You glanced around to see who it was that saved you, but all you saw were spectators looking at you, worried.
You were, suddenly, lifted up, in a bridal style, and you were, then, carried to a nearby lounge chair. You looked up to see who it was and you saw a young, handsome man, with a little bit of tan, brown hair, and brown eyes. He set you down on the lounge chair and he sat on the edge of the left side of the chair, looking at you, as you were still coughing a little bit.
"You okay?" He asked, kindly. "Yeah." You answered, while coughing. As soon as you were done coughing, you looked at the young man and said, "Thank you for saving me." "You're welcome. I'm Jack, by the way. Jack Marshall." The young man, Jack, said, as he held out his hand towards you. "I'm (y/n) (y/l/n)." You introduced yourself, as you took Jack's hand and shook it. You both smiled at each other for a moment while you both released your hands.
"What exactly happened to me that caused me to fall into the pool if you've noticed?" You asked. "I was walking around the pool area by myself, looking for my friend, Ben, when I saw two guys looking at you, grinning, like they were up to no good. Then, one of them walked up to you, slowly, and pushed you into the pool. They both ran off after that. I noticed that you were struggling, so I, quickly, jumped in to get you out of there." Jack explained.
You were shocked. You didn't know there were two guys behind you that pushed you into the pool. You were probably too distracted that you didn't even see or hear them. "Well, I appreciate you doing that for me, Jack, since I can't swim. I've already suffered through an experience as a child where I almost drowned. It's like I was reliving it." You said, sadly. Jack scooted closer towards you and he placed his hand on your bare shoulder and he stroked it, gently, with his thumb, which caused you to blush. "Hey. It's alright, (y/n). I understand that it was scary, but you don't have to be scared now, sweetheart. At least you're okay and I was there to save you." He said. "Well, I really appreciate it, Jack." You said, while you were smiling at him.
"How are you feeling, (y/n)?" Jack asked. "To be honest, my heart is still racing a little bit." You answered. "Would you...like me to stay with you until you feel better?" Jack asked, as he scratched the back of his neck. You were surprised when he asked to stay with you. Even though you just met him and you don't know him very well, you still felt like you could trust him and you felt safe being with him. After all, he did you from drowning in the pool. You nodded and said, "Yes, please." Then, you scooted over to the side so there was enough room and you patted on the open spot for Jack to sit. "Are you sure, (y/n)?" He asked, hesitantly. "Yeah. It's fine, Jack." You answered. Then, Jack moved from where he was sitting and he sat down next to you, with an arm wrapped around your shoulder. Your heart was starting to flutter and your cheeks were starting to feel warm when he was close to you.

For two hours, you and Jack talked and got to know each other. What made it more special was watching the sunset with him. He smiled every time you talked and he never took his eyes off of you. Even you couldn't stop looking at Jack because of his cute, handsome facial features.
It was nighttime and it was starting to get cold outside. Jack noticed that you were starting to shiver, so he asked, "You wanna wear my coat to keep yourself warm, (y/n)?" You didn't want to decline his offer since you were cold, so you nodded. Then, Jack took off his red jacket and he wrapped it around your shoulders. After that, Jack wrapped his arm around your shoulder again and, then, he pulled you closer towards him so he could keep you more warm. You chuckled and looked up at him and said, "Thank you, Jack." "You're welcome, (y/n)." He said.
"How are you feeling right now?" Jack asked. "Much better, thanks to you, Jack." You answered, while you snuggled against him. Jack smiled down at you as he brushed his finger, slowly, down your cheek, making you blush. "I'm glad that I could help you, (y/n)." He said.
After that, you both haven't said a word for almost a minute. All you did was stare at each other's eyes. You, briefly, glanced at Jack's lips before looking at his brown eyes again. 'I wish I could kiss you, Jack.' You thought to yourself. Then, as if he read your mind, Jack caressed your cheek with his thumb, leaned forward, and pressed his lips against yours, gently and softly. You were surprised for a moment until you closed your eyes and kissed him back, slowly, while Jack stroked your cheek with his thumb. It was the most beautiful and memorable moment of your life and you've wished that it would last like this forever.
"Hey, you two!" You and Jack, quickly, pulled away from the kiss as you both looked up and saw a security man standing by the pool that's near where you both were sitting. You recognized him. He was the same strict security guard that gets on everyone's nerves at the resort. "The pool area is closed over here!" He said. "It's not even that late, sir." Jack said, sounding irritated. "I don't care if it's not so late, I don't want you two—" He started saying, while he was walking towards you and Jack, unaware that one of his left shoe laces were undone.
Then, all of a sudden, he stepped on one of the shoe laces and he screamed when he fell into the pool. "I think we should get out of here, (y/n)." Jack suggested. "Couldn't agree more, Jack." You said. Then, you both got up from the lounge chair, grabbed your stuff, and you both ran back to the hotel, with the security guard still in the pool, muttering about getting you and Jack the next time you both make out in the pool area late at night.
When you and Jack got to the hotel, Jack walked you back to your hotel room. As soon as you got to your door, you and Jack stopped in front of it and looked at each other. "I had a wonderful time with you, Jack. Thanks again for saving my life and staying with me." You said. "You're welcome, (y/n). It was my pleasure. Maybe, if you want to, we could hang out again tomorrow." Jack said, somewhat hesitantly. You smiled and said, "I would love that, Jack." "Great. I'll see you tomorrow, (y/n)." Jack said. "I'll see you tomorrow too, Jack." You said back.
Then, you both leaned in and you both kissed each other for a few seconds as a goodbye kiss. It was nice to feel his warm lips again. But you were bummed that it won't last longer this time. Moments later, you both pulled away from the kiss, slowly. Jack smiled once again before he placed his hand on your cheek and whispered, "Bye, (y/n)." "Bye, Jack." You whispered back. He, then, took his hand off your cheek and walk away as he was heading back to his room. You stood by your door for a little bit as you watched him walk away.
As soon as he was out of sight, you leaned back against your door, biting the bottom of your lip, and sighing, happily, as you were thinking about Jack. You couldn't believe that you had, unexpectedly, met this nice, handsome young man after he saved you from drowning in the pool. Even though you've only known him for a few hours, it was still nice to be with him, talking to him, and to kiss him as well. It was definitely the highlight of your vacation and you didn't want to forget it, especially since you got your first kiss. "I can't wait to see him tomorrow." You said to yourself, before you headed inside your hotel room.
