Johnny Depp #8: Part 2

****Sorry this has taken so long to publish. Hope you enjoy.*************************

It had been two weeks since the Hollywood Vampires had performed at the O2 arena, and I'd still had no call, not even a text from Johnny. Maybe he was really busy... We hadn't even bumped into each other in shops or libraries, which was a shame, because I was really missing him. Btw, I did try his phone, but he didn't pick up or call back. That's the downside of being friends with an extremely talented, world-wide known celebrity: they're always busy with one thing or another. *Sigh* Still, I'd be nice to see Johnny again. I'm thinking of trying his phone later today, to try and set up a date to hang out.

Anyway, after the concert, as me and my best friend were going home, I told her about Johnny telling me to give him a call if I would like to hang out some time. I even showed her the piece of paper and my signed picture.... Those were the two worst duff moves I have ever made in my entire life. I don't know what happened, she just suddenly went all stiff and her smile disappeared, like she had suddenly turned into a statue. We didn't talk for the entire journey, and when we got home, she went...stomped up to the guest room and slammed the door in my face. I could tell she took the whole thing very badly, because I heard sobbing around five o'clock, when we both should have been practically conked out. Right then, I felt like the worst fucking person in the world. I blamed myself for bringing it up, but I would've blamed myself if I hadn't, cause otherwise I would've lied to her - my best friend. God this friendship stuff is complicated, especially when she gave me an apology hug, but then stalked off and told me to fuck off when I said sorry. Apart from not talking in two weeks, she blocked my number and on social media. *Sigh* At the moment I feel like I'm alone in this world. My best friend won't talk to me and has temporarily dumped me, and Johnny hasn't called/texted, or replied to my calls or texts. The two people I care about most in my entire crazy, upside down, fucking rollacoaster of a life, haven't talked to me, and I haven't been able to talk to them. So it's a lose lose situation basically.

And-

Hold that thought, I've just received a text. It's from...oh my god, it's from Johnny.

Johnny: Hey, sorry I haven't called/texted you, I've been really busy with the band and stuff. I hope I haven't offended or upset you.

Me: Hey Johnny, no of course you haven't offended me. You have the band and your acting career to think about, so I understand that you're going to be busy.

Johnny: Aww thank you. That means a lot.

Me: No problem.

Johnny: So, anyway, the real reason I texted you was because I was wondering if you wanted 2 go out with me.

Me: ....

Wow, well this was awkward.

Johnny: Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I meant go out as friends, not go out go out 😳🙊

Me: Don't worry about it, I know what you meant.

Johnny: 😅

Me: And yes, I'd love to go on a date that's not really a date with you Johnny.

Johnny: 😊 Yay!

Me: 😂 😊

Johnny: So what time do you want to meet up?

Me: We haven't even decided where we're going for our date that's not really a date 🤣🤣🤣

Johnny: Lol. But seriously where should we go 4 our "date?"

Me: 🤔 Damn, I really don't know. What about you?

Johnny: Nothing...Hang on, I've got an idea!

Me: What?

Johnny: We could do bowling if you'd like.

Me: That's sounds cool. I mean, would you be down to do that as our day out?

Johnny: Sure, would you?

Me: Yeah totally.

Johnny: Awesome. We could eat and then do something else after. I bet we'd bowl our way to success playing.

Me: 😂😂😂😂 That's the worst fucking joke I've ever heard of.

Johnny: 😂 Then why r you laughing?

Me: Because it's such a stupid joke.

Johnny: Lol. You love my jokes really.

Me: Only when they're funny, lol.

Johnny: Lol. U love me really.

I know, but that's my little secret.

Me: Yh, I know. But anyway, what time do you want to meet up?

Johnny: Tomorrow at eleven?

Me: Um, sure. But, I'm paying.

Johnny: Don't be silly, I'll pay.

Me: No, Iam.

Johnny: Iam.

Me: Meeeeee!

Johnny: Meeeee!

Me: Meeeeeee!

Johnny: Yoooouuuu!

Me: Yooooouuuu!

Johnny: Well that's settled, I'm paying.

Me: Shit. Can't believe I fell 4 that.

Johnny: Lol.

Me: But ok, if you insist...

Johnny: I do. Ok, I've got to go now, the guys want me for something.

Me: Alright. Thanks again. I'll see you at eleven o'clock.

Johnny: U 2. Not if I get there first ;)

Me: Lol. I bet u a bottle of wine and a whole twenty quid that I win.

Johnny: Aren't you a little young to drink?

Me: A bit. Ok, I bet you just the twenty pounds.

Johnny: You're on. Ok sweetheart, I'll see u tomorrow. Bye xxx

Me: Bye - I'm still going to win x

Johnny: Cheeky. Bye xxx

Me: Bai xxx

******************************

The next day:

It was quarter to eleven when I arrived at the bowling alley that we'd both agreed on. I couldn't see Johnny, which meant that I had won the bet.
Ha ha!
Needless to say, I was really pleased with this outcome. I was quite excited to see him, so I went inside the building and waited patiently for him.

I waited...and waited...and waited...and waited.

Quarter to eleven had been and gone. Had he bailed? Of course not, this is Johnny Depp we're talking about.
I was bored waiting for Johnny, so I decided to close my eyes for a bit and have a...

"Y/N? Y/N?" A voice whispered, shaking my shoulder gently.

"Not now Johnny..." I mumbled in my sleep, brushing the person's hand away. "I'm trying to eat my sandwich...can you pass the mayo, I want to butter my cornflakes...thank you..." I continued to mumble nonsense in my sleep, until someone wrapped their arm around me and pulled me close.
I opened my eyes sleepily and saw Johnny sitting next to me.

"Hello sleeping beauty, I was starting to wonder if the kiss of life was going to work." Johnny said smiling, some of his chocolate brown hair falling in front of his eyes, which he casually brushed away.

I wish.

"When did you get here?" I yawned, taking my head off his shoulder.

"I got here fifteen minutes ago. Sorry I'm so late, there was roadworks." Johnny apologized.

"Don't worry about it. Just so long as I get to spend today with you then there's no problem."

"Aww, that's kind." He blushed, breaking a grin. "Now come, let's do some bowling. Oh, and by the way, I owe you that twenty quid." Johnny said, as he helped me to my feet.

"Why?" My brain was still asleep, so my memory was basically fluff at the moment.

"The bet. Don't you remember?"

"You what? Oh yeah, that. You keep the twenty, I don't want it. It was just a stupid bet anyway."

"Well if you're sure. You're still welcome to it anyways. I've paid already, so let's do this thing."

We walked towards the lane and pulled off our coats, and started playing. But before we did, we had to put those special shoes on for bowling. I was wearing trainers that had white soles, so I didn't need to wear the shoes. The rules were something like that.
Johnny however had to, because he was wearing black boots with red laces. It was quite interesting to watch him pull off his boots and replace them with what I would describe as clown shoes. The dark red 'clown shoes' in a way clashed with Johnny's outfit significantly. I mean, nobody looks to great in jeans, a t-shirt and feodora hat and dark red shoes. Just saying.
And Johnny can pull off just about any look, sooo...

I'm going to move on, this is getting way too confusing and weird to explain/talk about.

When Johnny finished putting on the shoes, he looked at me and said: "Do I look silly in these?" He gestured to his feet.

I bit my lip, thinking about how to word what I was going to say.
"Do you want my honest opinion?" I finally asked.

"Yes."

"Maybe a little. But to be fair, you look nice in them as well."

"Thanks...these shoes are so uncomfortable." I heard him mumble, as he got up and went to pick a bowling ball.

I chose a dark blood red coloured bowling bowl, which was labeled as an 8.
Johnny chose a bogey green colured bowling ball, which was labeled as a 12. He's older than me, so it made sense that he'd pick a heavier ball than me.

As we started playing, I felt myself beggining to perk up incredibly.
There was music playing over the loudspeaker in the arcade (I want it all by Queen), which hyped me up to the point where I was almost jumping everywhere with a big fat grin on my face.
"Yes!" I practically squealed when I knocked all the bowling pins down.

"Well done, that was really good Y/N." Johnny gave me one of his adorable smiles, before picking up a huge green bowling ball and aiming it towards the centre of the pins.
1...2...3... And Johnny swung (well not quite, but you know what I mean) the ball forward; we watched it roll quickly down the lane and towards the pins. And...strike!

"Yes!" I almost squealed when Johnny knocked down every single bowling pin.
"Well done. That was awesome."

"Thanks." Johnny rubbed the back of his neck with awkward happiness.

We managed to have two more games before the hour was up and we had to stop playing.

"That was a really good game. Did you have fun?" Asked Johnny, as we walked towards the diner.

"Yeah, totally. What about you?"

"Well I'm with you, so of course I did. It would've been boring if I'd been bowling on my mind. Besides, you need two or more people to bowl, otherwise you'd be winning all the time. Winning is more fun when you have someone to compete against."

I blushed a brilliant red, as I fangirled inside.

Grrrr.... Went my stomach.

"I think someone needs feeding." Chuckled Johnny.

'How awkward.' I thought as I blushed. "Yeah, me too." I giggled.

We exited the bowling alley, before buying sandwiches in the Co-op over the street and sitting/ eating our lunch in the park nearby.
"How'd you like your pickle and cheese sandwich?" I asked Johnny after taking a sip out of my carton of orange juice.

I don't know why I chose pickle and cheese, Johnny Depp just looks like a pickle and cheese sandwich guy.

"It's good. What about your ham and cheese sandwich?"

"Good. It tastes really nice." I scrunched up the sandwich box and tossed it into the bin next to us when I'd finished eating.
Getting up, I stretched and let out a huge yawn. *Yaaaawwwnnn*
I curled my legs up on the wooden bench and cuddled up to Johnny, feeling the harsh autumn wind through my thick coat.
"Cold?"
"Hmm mmm..." I mumbled into his jacket.

Johnny finished his own lunch shortly after, and chucked his litter in the bin the same as I had done. I was so cold that I started physically shaking. I kind of looked like I was one of those wind up toys that and had been wound up.
Johnny could see how cold I was, so he pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around me in attempt to warm me up. I slowly got a bit warmer. "Better?" Johnny asked, rubbing my arm.
"A bit."

Now that we'd eaten, we decided to go on a walk. Not a romantic walk or anything like that, though I did hold Johnny's wrist, because I get anxious being around lots and lots of people, and there were lots and lots of people around.

As we walked, a few people (I assume fans of Johnny's) came up to us and told us we were a cute couple. Maybe it was because I was practically clutching Johnny's wrist and still wearing his jacket. I'd forgotten that I was still wearing it. Whoops!
These statements made me blush, because Johnny and I were just friends.

"Are you ok Y/N?" Johnny asked me concernedly as we continued walking. "Your pale, seem very nervous and are clutching my wrist quite tight."

"Oh sorry." I quickly let his wrist go. "I just get really anxious around lots of people."

"I understand how you feel, cause I do too. I'm not just saying that for the sake of it, but trust me, you'll be ok. I won't let anything bad happen to you. I promise." He looked me in the eye to show that he really meant it.

"Thank you Johnny, that makes me feel a bit less anxious...You're a good person."

"So are you." Johnny smiled. "If it makes you feel any better, would me holding your hand make you more comfortable? Just so you know that I'm here by your side and things."

"That would actually make me feel more comfortable. Maybe it's just me, but I always think that human contact like hugging or whatever, helps reduce people's stress levels."

"I've always thought that too."

"Yeah. I don't know why I think that, but...I don't know, I just do."

Johnny and I chattered endlessly on our walk, and by the time we walked back to the hotel where he was staying with his band, it was almost four o'clock in the evening.
"Golly, it's almost four o'clock!" I exclaimed, looking at my watch.

"Really? Wow. Today has flown by really quickly."

Today really had flown. I was sad, because I would've loved nothing more than to stay and talk with Johnny for longer. But, we've both got things to do and dinner and everything else to concentrate on, so we can officially say that our day is done.

"I guess I'll have to be going now. Here's your jacket, it kept me lovely and warm." I removed my hand from his and pulled his black jacket off. I folded it up and handed it carefully to him.

"Thanks. I'm glad it kept you warm." Johnny replied taking it and holding it in his arms. He also seemed unhappy that we were parting ways for today, especially since we'd both got to know eachother a little bit more.

We stayed silent for a moment, unsure what else to say to eachother.

"Well...I guess I better skedaddle. Thank you so much for today, I had so much fun." I hugged him tightly, a tear escaping from my eye.

"Me too. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, I hope we can do this again." Johnny replied hugging me back. "Please don't cry."

"I guess I should go now. Thank you again Johnny, I-" I was on the verge of telling him my feelings for him, but I decided not to. That would just make our developing friendship awkward. Maybe I'll keep that secret to myself until another day.

"Ok. I hope to see you again in the not too distant future."

We exchanged hugs, before saying our goodbyes and going home to unwind.

****Wow, I finally finished this. I hope this is ok, it's probably a fluff piece, but it's decent enough I guess. I hope you enjoyed. I'll update soon😘****
