Chapter one
(A/N First things first, i read a child's book yesterday called 'LOLA'. I am literally taking that story and adding Hamilton characters into it. The story is by 'Loufane' so go check it out if you like child's books. Also this book is very short and each chapters word count is like 150)
Near the deep, dark woods was a simple chicken farm. It had an open field, a barn, and a small fence to keep the chickens safe and protected inside. On this farm lived a chicken, who was anything but simple. John was special.
John, the littlest most adorable chicken. Nobody paid attention to him. He would hang out alone, by his favorite tree, avoiding other chickens. He was a chestnut color, almost golden, unlike all the other chickens. Chickens would tease him for his size and color.
John learned to ignore their whispers, which he wished would go away. He would stare out past the fence at the dark woods, wishing for something in his life to go correctly.
Life on the little farm was exactly the same, day in and day out. The sun rose, and the big, bold rooster named Thomas stood up on a small pile of dirt, tossed back his head and crowed.
"Cock a doodle doo! I may be looking for you!"
"Awk, awk, awk!" The chickens squaked in excitement.
They fluttered their wings and danced around. The rooster would choose a chicken each day to sit beside him. All the chickens wanted to sit beside him. Every single day, all the chickens squabbled- all the chickens except John.
"Me, pick me!" A white chicken shouted.
"No, no, no! Its my turn!" A brown chicken would squeal.
"You never choose me!" A white chicken with brown spots shouted.
The chickens sprinted around, feathers would fly through the air as the chickens frantically trued to get Thomas's attention. Who would the rooster choose to sit beside him that day?
John
John was the chosen one, today's lucky little chicken. Just for today, the rooster thought only of John. Thomas would stare at a picture of John, leaning against a tree. One of John staring at the viewer, one of him sitting on the grass. Thomas couldn't get John out of his head.
