Jill is peacefully asleep in bed with Jacob right next to her in his bassinet. Joe is looking at some important documents while he talks to some advisors on the phone.

Just then, Jacob begins to cry due to needing a diaper change and is hungry.

Jill jumps out of her sleep, hearing her baby boy crying. Jill was the same exact way when Ashley was a newborn, she woke up instantly when she heard crying.

Jill yelps in pain from her c-section incision, realizing she sat up in bed way too fast.

Joe leaps over to the bed to stop Jill from hurting herself due to moving too fast.

"Take it easy, Jilly. Take it easy. I'll get him. Just lay down, you need the rest." Joe says softly to Jill.

"I've been in bed for the majority of the day. I need to get up, move around and take care of our baby." Jill says as she carefully picks Jacob up, causing him to calm down.

"Shh, it's okay, baby. It's okay. Mama's here. Mama's here. Are you hungry? Or do you have a nasty diaper?" Jill says softly to Jacob as she rubs up and down Jacob's back.

Joe admires his wife and baby boy together, they both look so beautiful. It's impossible for him to understand how he has deserved something as great as the both of them.

"Baby, you don't have to take him. I'm happy to do it because I can see your incision hurts. Besides, I need some Jakey time too." Joe walks over and caresses his son's head with his hand.

"Isn't that right, Jakey? You need some Dada time too!" Joe says happily in a babyfied voice at the newborn.

Jill carefully hands Jacob to Joe to hold so she can get out of bed. Jill slowly gets up out of master bed, feeling a little bit of pain, but nothing major and begins to walk around the bedroom.

Joe and Jacob go downstairs together to make Jacob a bottle. Jill decides to do the steps because she has to do them in order to get better.

Last time she did the steps, Hunter and Joe had to basically carry her up them that was almost a week ago.

Joe puts Jacob in his swing before going to the kitchen to make his bottle. Jacob is awake and is looking around the room not being able to see much since newborn vision is poor at this stage.

Slowly but surely, Jill makes it down the steps and walks over to Jacob and picks him up once again, smelling his bottom, realizing he really needs a diaper change.

"Joe! Jacob pooped. You can't feed him with a dirty diaper on." Jill says as she begins to change Jacob's diaper on the couch since it is easier on her.

"Jilly, I said you should stay in bed. Don't push yourself too hard! You won't be back in a flash and that's okay! Your body needs time to heal." Joe says, walking over to Jill who is cleaning up Jacob.

Joe leans down and whispers into Jill's ear "I need you to be whole again soon and all this stubbornness won't help that."

Jill finishes changing Jacob's diaper and holds him close to her, something she did with Ashley as well.

Jill's cheeks blush a bright red at Joe's comment as she smiles at Joe. Joe stands back up and smiles at Jacob being in Jill's arms.

"At least let me take the diaper now and sit down on the couch. You need to be careful, Jilly. We don't want a repeat of yesterday's try on exercise." Joe says to Jill.

Jill tried to put one of her fancy outfits she wears during First Lady special appearances and let's just say that didn't work out. 

Jill smiles at Joe before handing the dirty diaper to him to throw away.

"I want to help take care of our son, Joe. You have the biggest job in America, at least I can do is help with Jacob." Jill says as she puts hand sanitizer on her hands while managing to still hold Jacob, ready to feed him whenever the bottle the ready.

"You know, I appreciate you wanting to do as much as possible with Jacob. You are such an amazing mother. But that's also the thing. You can't do things that will make your body not heal properly. You have to let it take time, Jilly. Jacob and I need you back in good health." Joe says as he throws the diaper away and returns to the kitchen.

After washing his hands, Joe finishes making Jacob's bottle and walks back out to Jill on the couch.

"Here you go, Jilly. I'll just clean up the kitchen and then I'll come join you here, the couch looks so comfy and you on it makes it even better." Joe says softly as Jill nods and smiles at Joe before he walks back into the kitchen.

Jill watches Joe walk into the kitchen finding her husband very sexy even today as a seventy eight year of dad of now five.

Jill carefully puts the bottle in Jacob's mouth and he begins to happily drink it. Jill really wants to make sure Jacob drinks his bottles because he is a smaller baby and needs all of the calories he can get to grow.

"You have the best Daddy, Jakey. Yes, you do. Daddy loves you so much and he loves me so much too." Jill whispers to Jacob as she admires her baby boy drinking his bottle.

Jacob has his eyes open, showing his bright blue eyes that look just like Joe's and hers. Jacob's hair is a mixture of blonde, light brown and even has some red in it thanks to Joe's Irish heritage.

Joe glances at the two of them from the kitchen. He is so immeasurably happy to share his life with Jill, he wouldn't have been able to live on if it wasn't for her.

How can a woman look that good at seventy when she's feeding the baby she just gave birth to, Joe thinks to himself.

After cleaning up the kitchen, Joe walks over and joins them on the couch, seating himself as close to Jill as possible.

Jacob finishes his bottle and burps before Jill lays down on the couch with Jacob in her arms. Joe carefully moves behind her and molds her body against his, placing a hand on her waist.

"You're incredibly beautiful, baby." Joe whispers into Jill's ear, causing Jill to smile.

"I love you more than you'll ever know." Joe says as he continues to run his hand from her waist down to her legs and then up again.

"I'm the happiest and luckiest man in the world, getting to call myself your husband." Joe whispers to Jill, causing to Jill to smile again.

"And I'm the happiest and luckiest woman in the world, baby. I love you so much." Jill says as she kisses Joe a few times.

Jill makes sure Jacob is back to sleep before placing him in his swing to take his fourth nap of the day.

Jill carefully lays back on Joe and cuddles with him on the couch, something they haven't done in a few weeks.

"I'm really sorry I've been so nasty to you lately. You don't deserve me yelling at you or crying randomly. These past two weeks have been a whirlwind, a way bigger whirlwind then waiting for election results in November. I just want you to know that you have been nothing but incredible with me and Jacob and I love you." Jill says as she rubs Joe's face, feeling some stumble on his face.

Joe hasn't been leaving the White House much, only leaving if he absolutely has to so Jacob doesn't get sick so nobody has really seen his facial hair coming in. Jill loves it.

"Don't apologize, baby. You've had every right to be emotional and stressed out by this whole entire situation. It's been a huge adjustment to being empty nesters to now basically being first time parents again. You know I'm here for you, whatever you may need." Joe says as he caresses her cheek with his thumb as Jill's tears up and smiles at his.

"And I love you too, baby." Joe says and capture her lips in a slow and loving kiss.

Joe moves his hands to her back, pushing Jill into him. Joe wants her to feel his love for her and attraction to her even though he can't really give it to her for a few weeks yet.

"You're so fucking hot I don't think you can see half of it." Joe whispers against Jill's lips.

"Age has nothing on you, babe. The hottest woman on earth that I met forty seven years ago has only managed to get hotter and hotter." Joe says to Jill.

Jill giggles at Joe's many compliments before she kisses him a few times. Jill rubs Joe's cheeks as she looks into his eyes.

"God I love you, Joe. I love you so much. I am the luckiest women alive being with you." Jill says happily to Joe.

Joe nestles a hand in the back of Jill's hair and tilts her head up, making her look into his eyes.

"No one is happier than me, you know I love you more than you love me, Jilly." Joe says as Jill giggles.

Joe kisses her on the head and pulls her into a big hug. They settle there on the couch, tightly embraced in each other's arms and doses off.

An hour later, Jacob wakes up in his swing and let's out a small cry. Joe wakes from his sleep when he hears his son cry. Joe gently lets go of Jill's body and slowly climbs off the couch to not disturb his wife's sleep.

"Hi, my little boy. Are you awake?" Joe says as he picks up the fussy Jacob.

Jacob continues to cry and Joe holds him close to his chest, just like Jill does.

"You can't be hungry again, can you?" Joe asks Jacob as Jacob settles down by the touch and feel of his dad. 

Joe begins to softly rock Jacob in his arms, calming the newborn down.

"Dada is here now. You don't need to worry. You are safe my little boy. Me and Mama have you and we love you more than anything in this world." Joe says softly to Jacob.

Jacob begins to pass some gas, the source of his fussiness.

"Someone was gasy, huh? We might need to get you those drops. Let's write that down on Mama's shopping list." Joe says as he and Jacob walk into the kitchen and walk over to the refrigerator where Jill has an ongoing list.

After holding Jacob for a few more minutes, Jacob falls back asleep and Joe manages to get him in his swing to sleep so he can continue cuddling and napping with Joe.  

For the rest of the day, Joe, Jill, Jacob, Major, Hunter, Beau and Melissa all enjoy the day as a family. :)
