November 20th, 2022

Hunter, Melissa, Ashley, Howard, Hallie, John, Natalie, Hunter, Maisy, Finnegan, Naomi, Peter, Devi, Ivy, Jacob, Bonny, Eugenia, Beau and Joey are all sitting around in the living room, waiting for Joe and Jill to get ready, well mainly Joe since he will still sleeping.

Bonny, Eugenia, Jacob, Devi and Beau are all playing with their toys again while Ivy is being held by Natalie and Joey is being held by Melissa.

"Bonny, Genie, you two need to share with Jakey, Devi and Beau, okay?" Howard says to the girls.

"Howard, they are just babies." Ashley says as she happily takes pictures of the kids together.

"Never too early to learn manners." Howard says with a smirk, causing Ashley to roll her eyes.

"Honey, my feet hurt. I think it's from wearing heels all day yesterday." Melissa says to Hunter softly.

"Come here, baby. I'll give you a foot rub." Hunter says as Melissa scoots over to Hunter and placed her feet in his lap.

Hunter begins to carefully rub Melissa's feet and Melissa smiles.

"Ew." Maisy says as she covers her eyes.

"Whenever a foot rub happens, a baby comes!" Ashley says playfully to everyone.

"Well, that's true! One time Dad rubbed Mom's feet and you appeared nine months later!" Hunter says to Ashley as he rubs Melissa's feet.

"That's really gross to know." Finnegan says out loud.

"Is that how Jacob happened?" Maisy asks everyone as Jacob squeals happily.

"I don't wanna know." Little Hunter says as he covers his eyes, being grossed out.

"John had to give me a foot rub last night! My feet were a little swollen due to my heels." Hallie says with a chuckle.

"Keep an eye on that swelling! We don't want a baby to come early." Howard explains to Hallie.

"Oh, I know. The doctors see me every two weeks and have been since the beginning." Hallie says with a chuckle.

"The doctors saw me every two weeks too! I thought that was because I was having twins. Howard worried so much and wanted me to see the doctor every week." Ashley says to Hallie.

"I just wanted to make sure all of you were okay." Howard says as he rubs Ashley's back.

"You aren't an OGBYN, honey." Ashley says causing everyone to laugh.

"Well, I'm old." Hallie says as she giggles.

"No you aren't. You're beautiful." John says, causing Hallie to blush and smile.

"Ew, get a room." Natalie says playfully to her mother and mother's boyfriend.

Just then, Joe and Jill walk into the living room, holding each others hands with big smiles on their faces.

"Hey everyone! I'm ready for my special birthday breakfast! I'm hungry!" Joe says with a big smile as he chuckles.

"Did Mom spoil you this morning for your birthday?" Hunter asks Joe with a smirk.

"HUNTER!" Melissa says to Hunter, smacking his arm playfully.

"What?" Hunter says to Melissa with a smirk.

"There are children in the room!" Melissa says pointing to Bonny, Eugenia, Devi, Jacob and Beau, who are playing on the floor still.

Jill's cheeks turn bright pink while she tries to hide her face into Joe while Joe chuckles loudly.

"You know the answer, son." Joe says to Hunter with a grin.

"Dada!" Jacob says as he runs over to Joe, hugging his legs tightly.

"Hi, baby boy! Hey!" Joe says as he bends down and kisses Jacob's head.

"Hey, Pop!" Natalie, Little Hunter, Finnegan, Naomi and Maisy all say in unison to Joe with big smiles.

"Hey guys!" Joe says with a big grin at his older grandchildren who he loves dearly.

"POP!" Beau, Devi, Eugenia and Bonny all yell as they run over to Joe and hug his legs, copying what Jacob did earlier.

"Hey! I love you all so so much!" Joe says as he bends down to kiss Eugenia, Bonny, Devi and Beau's heads one by one.

"Aaaaa!" Joey and Ivy both say in unison loudly.

"I love you, Ivy and I love you, Joey!" Joe says as he walks over to Ivy and kiss her and then walks over to Joey to kiss him.

Joe then hugs and kisses all of the adults and his older five grandchildren, catching up with everyone despite seeing everyone yesterday.

"Okay, let's all go to the Blue Room to eat breakfast to celebrate Pop's eightieth birthday! We are running late which is a common thing in our family!" Jill says with a grin as she picks up Jacob.

"It can't be a Biden event without us being late!" Ashley says as she holds Eugenia's hand while Howard picks up Bonny.

"YAY!" Beau, Jacob, Devi, Bonny and Eugenia all yell happily as Ivy and Joey babble loudly. 

"Willow, Commander, Major, Athena and Charlie! Be good! We will be back soon!" Joe says to the Biden family pets that are sitting in the living room, with filled bellies from being fed earlier.

Joe, Ivy, Devi, Jacob, Jill, Ashley, Eugenia, Bonny, Howard, Finnegan, Maisy, Natalie, Little Hunter, Hallie, John, Hunter, Joey, Beau, Melissa, Naomi and Peter all head downstairs to the Blue Room to have Joe's birthday breakfast!

Beau, runs over to the table with Devi, Jacob, Bonny and Eugenia following closely behind.

"Everyone is following the leader, Beau!" Jill says as everyone giggles and smiles at Beau, Devi, Jacob, Bonny and Eugenia.

John, Hallie, Natalie, Ivy, Devi, Jill, Jacob, Joe, Little Hunter, Howard, Eugenia, Bonny, Ashley, Finnegan, Maisy, Hunter, Joey, Beau, Melissa, Naomi and Peter all begin to sit around the table and begin to fill their plates with the many pastries and fruit that are on the table. Hunter has Joey sitting on his lap while Ivy is sitting on Jill's lap.

While everyone is eating, Joe begins to open all of his birthday presents, one of his favorite parts of a birthday!

"Thank you all very much! I am the luckiest guy in the world because of all of you. Thank you." Joe says to everyone.

"Pop got better presents than we did for our wedding." Naomi says to Peter and Peter chuckles.

"You guys got literally a whole house full of stuff." Finnegan says as she rolls her eyes.

"That's true. We got basically everything and anything you could possibly need in a kitchen, baby." Peter says to Naomi.

"BABY!" Beau yells with excitement, causing everyone to giggle.

"Yes, Peter called me baby." Naomi says as she smiles at her baby brother.

"Baby wike Mommy has in her belly?" Beau asks out loud as he giggles and smiles.

Everyone looks around in confusion, wondering what Beau is talking about. For the past few months, Beau has had a phase where he thought everyone was pregnant and asked everyone everyday if they were.

"Hunt, what's Beau talking about?" Joe asks, trying to figure it all out while Jill figures it out right away, getting excited.

"Well, looks like the cat is out of the bag. We were going to wait until Christmas, but Melissa and I are expecting a baby in April." Hunter says as everyone gasps before cheering loudly.

"I knew something was up yesterday! Congratulations! Oh, I'm so excited!" Jill says as she tears up and smiles.

"Yes! You didn't drink, Melissa! Makes total sense now!" Finnegan says as she smiles.

"Dad! Didn't I say to let me be next?" Naomi playfully asks her Dad.

"We weren't planning this at all! But we are very excited." Hunter says to Naomi.

"We sure are! Very happy." Melissa says as she rubs her small baby bump.

"Congrats, Hunt and Melissa!" Howard and John both say with grins.

"Another niece or nephew to spoil rotten! How exciting!" Ashley cheers and clap her hands.

"Everyone is getting freaking pregnant." Maisy says as she giggles.

"Not me! Peter and I want to wait a few months before we start trying. We are newlyweds." Naomi explains to her youngest sister.

"Oh my God, we don't need to know that. No one cares you're newlyweds. You literally got married yesterday." Natalie says to Naomi as she rolls her eyes.

"This is so awkward." Little Hunter says as he sips on his orange juice.

"You are right, Natalie. I don't need to hear this information, I'm your Dad." Hunter says to Naomi.

"Well, we all know what you and Melissa do!" Ashley says with sass and play to her brother.

"Guys, there are young children here." Howard says as Ashley rolls her eyes at her husband.

"Honey, they are babies. They don't care what we are talking about. They are busy making a mess and having fun." Ashley says to Howard.

"Ash is right. Right, Jakey? You don't care what's being said, huh?" Joe says as Jacob giggles and babbles happily.

"When are you due, Melissa?" Jill asks Melissa happily.

"I'm due in early April, right around Joey's birthday. So we might have Joey and this baby's birthdays back to back like Beau and Hunter's birthdays are." Melissa says as she giggles.

"Aww! You are due right after me! That's so fun." Hallie says as she sips on her water and smiles.

"Congratulations, Hunter and Melissa! This is such a joy and wonderful news to find out on my birthday." Do you guys know what you are having?" Joe says to Hunter and Melissa.

"Do you want to tell everyone, honey? Or wait until the baby is born?" Hunter asks Melissa softly as he rubs her baby bump tenderly.

"I don't think I can keep it a secret and wait!" Melissa says as she smiles big.

"ZOE!" Beau yells, announcing the baby's name and gender in the process.

"Beau!" Hunter says as he face palms.

"It's okay, honey! He's excited to have a baby sister name Zoe! Right?" Melissa says to Hunter and then to Beau with a proud grin.

"Uh huh! Baby sissy!" Beau says as he tries to jump up and down in his seat.

"Sit down, please. Good boy. And yes, our baby girl's name is Zoe Lee Biden. Zoe after Melissa's mom, and Lee after Melissa's dad." Hunter explains to everyone.

Everyone cheers with happiness about the news of a baby girl arriving into the family and for Melissa finally getting the baby girl she always wanted.

"That's such a beautiful tribute to your late mom, Melissa. I'm so happy for you and Hunt!" Jill says as she tears up and smiles.

"Such a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl that is on the way." Joe says happily.

Everyone continues to eat breakfast and talk while Joe enjoys just being with his family and spending much needed time with them.

"Oh my goodness! We need to take a picture to put on Instagram!" Jill says as she stands up and giggles.

"Yeah, we need a picture before Republicans think you and Dad have a fake marriage." Ashley says, fixing Bonny's little bow.

"The dementia! Nana is the caretaker you know!" Maisy says with sass.

"And the outrage because they didn't get invited to MY wedding." Naomi says as she rolls her eyes.

"Or make a breaking news story about my laptop somehow!" Hunter says as he busts out laughing.

Hallie, John, Hunter, Melissa, Ashley and Howard leave the table, sitting the babies on the laps of everyone that is still sitting at the table.

Jill leaves for just a second to grab the candles and a lighter.

Jill comes back and puts an 8 candle and a 0 candle on Joe's coconut cake and lights them up carefully with a red lighter.

"Okay! Let's sing happy birthday to Pop!" Jill says as the babies cheer happily.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Pop! Happy birthday to you!" Jill, Ashley, Howard, Hunter, Melissa, Hallie, John, Naomi, Peter, Natalie, Hunter, Maisy, Finnegan and Beau all sing in unison to Joe while Jacob, Devi, Eugenia, Bonny, Ivy and Joey all babble happily.

"Make a wish, Daddy." Jill says as she whispers the last word into Joe's ear, causing Joe to smirk and smile.

"Oh I will, baby. " Joe says with a smirk as he thinks of a birthday wish.

After thinking for a few seconds, Joe blows out his birthday candles, causing everyone to cheer loudly.

"What did you wish for, Pop?" Natalie asks Joe with a smile.

"I can't say! Or else it won't come true." Joe says with a smile back at Natalie as he hugs Jacob and kisses him, causing Jacob to hug and kiss him back.

For the rest of the day, Joe continues to celebrate his eightieth birthday with his wife, children, children-in-laws and grandchildren! :)
