"Welcome back to New Year's Rock and Eve, presented by Amazon Prime. It is Ryan Seacrest with you and we're so honored that joining us right now are two very special guests President Joe Biden and Doctor Joe Biden it's nice to see you once again. Thanks for coming on!" Ryan says to the camera with a big smile.

Just then, Jill and Joe appear on the big screen thag is high above the Time Square crowd, happy and excited for the upcoming year to come.

This upcoming year is a humungous one with a rough re-election campaign ahead of them, but Jill and Joe are optimistic and ready for it.

*Jill and Joe's outfits*

"Thank you, Ryan! Happy New Year!" Jill says as she smiles at Ryan.

"Thanks for having us!" Joe says to Ryan as Jill laughs and smiles at him.

"Mr. President, before we start here about the New Year, I'm curious what sort of holiday foods have you been enjoying over the last few days?" Ryan asks Joe with a cheeky grin.

"Well, I've been eating everything is put in front of me but I've eaten pasta, which I love!" Joe says as some little noises is heard in the background.

Jill turns to her left and sees Jacob happily walking over to her. Jacob was put to bed at around 8:30pm, his usual bedtime most nights.

"Mama! Hi, Mama!" Jacob yells as he continues to walk over to her, a little faster this time.

*Jacob's pajamas*

Jacob has his brand new pajamas set on that Natalie bought for him to wear specifically for tonight since she thought they looked like New Year's themed pajamas.

Jacob also has his favorite socks on, fuzzy socks with many kinds of dog breeds. The socks were given to him from his Aunt Valerie.

Ever since they arrived to Saint Croix, Jacob has been running around the house with socks on and tripping, so Jill has been telling him to be careful and to not run around the vacation house.

"Shhh, shh, Daddy is talking. Come here, do you wanna say hello to Ryan too? Come here! Don't run, be careful." Jill says softly as Jacob quickly walks over to her.

"I hear a little voice in the background! Do we have a new guest joining us on New Year's Rockin' Eve tonight?" Ryan asks, wondering who is joining the President and First Lady during this special interview.

"It is! Someone decided to wake up! I guess he wanted to join us in the New Year's festivities this evening!" Jill says as she picks up Jacob, sitting him on her lap and gives him a few kisses on the cheek, causing Jacob to smile big.

"Hey, boy! What are you doing up? Did you have a bad dream? Hmm?" Joe asks Jacob as he rubs Jacob cheek tenderly.

"No! I pway, Daddy!" Jacob says with a cheeky grin and a little giggle.

Joe chuckles at Jacob's reply, while Jill smiles ear to ear, holding Jacob close.

"No, we aren't going to play now! We are going to talk to Mr. Ryan and then we are going to bed. It's getting really late!" Jill says as Jacob giggles once again.

"Hello! What's your name?" Ryan asks Jacob with a smile.

"Jacob!" Jacob says proudly as he waves at Ryan.

"This is Jacob, the President and I's two year old son!" Jill proudly says as Jacob plays with Jill's dress sleeve.

"Hi, Jacob! Did you have a great Christmas this year?" Ryan asks Jacob.

"Yeah!" Jacob says with Jill and Joe watching their son proudly.

"What did Santa Claus bring you?" Ryan asks Jacob as Jacob thinks about it.

"What did you get? You got a big Amtrak train set and a play kitchen! Lots of fun toys!" Jill says as Jacob nods.

"Ball pit!" Jacob yells loudly in excitement.

"Santa didn't bring you that, Naomi and Peter did! That's one of your favorite gifts, isn't it?" Jill asks Jacob and Jacob nods.

"Uh huh! Wots of balls and fun!" Jacob says as Joe busts out laughing, Ryan does as well and Jill's face blushes a bright red,

"Oh, and he got one of those riding cars. Our son Hunter was able to get one made that looks just like my 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. So Jacob and I have matching cars." Joe says with a smirk.

"Vroom! Vroom!" Jacob says, as he acts like he's driving a car, causing everyone to laugh.

"Yeah! Vroom! You took Willow on a fun little ride right?" Joe says to Jacob.

"Ya! Willow didn't wike!" Jacob says as Jill nods.

"Yeah, Willow wasn't a fan! Maybe next time, Jakey." Jill says with a chuckle.

"Back to your question Ryan, I've been eating a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan. I've been eating all Italian foods basically." Joe says with a smirk.

"Italian food around the holidays is a Biden family tradition every year!" Jill says as she smiles at Joe and Joe smiles back at her.

"Yum!" Jacob says as he wiggles around in Jill's lap but stays with her.

"Jacob loves to eat all foods just like me and he has been trying everything! I'd say Jacob favorite was the pasta for sure." Joe says as he smiles at Jacob.

"And ice cream!" Jill says as she chuckles and smiles.

"And ice cream. Chocolate chip ice cream to be exact." Joe says as Jacob gets excited.

"I want ice crweam pwease!" Jacob says, causing Joe to chuckle and smile.

"No, it is way too late for ice cream. We can have some tomorrow, okay?" Jill says as Jacob smiles.

"Ice cream for breakfast!" Joe says as Jacob gets really excited about the possibility. 

"No! We aren't doing that!" Jill says, causing Ryan to laugh.

"It's good to know that you're eating like the rest of us here across the country. As you look back and reflect on twenty twenty-three, what sort of memories, highlights, stand out for you?" Ryan asks Joe.

"Well, one of the big highlights stands out for me is my dad used to have an expression. He'd say, Joey, a job's about a lot more than a paycheck if I dignity. It's about respect. So many people through the Midwest and in the center of the country. Their factors are shipped overseas the last. couple times out. And and they were losing hope and faith. So we brought a lot of jobs back to the United States. People are in a position to be able to make a living now. And they've created a lot of jobs of over fourteen million. And I guess what? I'm I-I just feel good that the American people got up. They've been through a rough time with pandemic but now we're coming back. They're back." Joe says to Ryan as Jacob gets antsy and bored.

"Mama, pway?" Jacob asks Jill.

"Shh, Daddy and Mr. Ryan are talking." Jill whispers as she kisses Jacob's head.

"Well, we've got a million plus people here in Times Square and so many eyes on the big ball for the big moment tonight as we get ready for twenty twenty-four. What are your hopes for the new year for both of you?" Ryan asks Joe with a smile.

"BALL!" Jacob yells after hearing the word, ball.

"Yeah! The Times Square Ball! When it turns 12 o'clock, it goes down and all of this confetti comes down!" Jill says softly to Jacob.

"WOAH!" Jacob yells, causing Jill to smile and Joe chuckles at his son's excitement.

"Well, my hope is that everybody has a healthy, happy, and safe New Year. But beyond that, I hope that they're they understand that we're in a better position in any country in the world to lead the world. And we're coming back and it's about time." Joe says proudly.

"Dr. Biden, your hopes for America?" Ryan asks Jill.

"Well, you know I think it's what I would always tell my students. Be positive. Be optimistic and be kind to one another. Happy New Year!" Jill says as Jacob claps his hands and begins to play with his socks, ready for the interview to be over.

"Happy New Year! Enjoy three scoops of ice cream tonight, both of you. Thanks for coming on. We'll see you soon!" Ryan says to Jill, Joe and Jacob.

"Alright!" Jill says with a cheeky smile.

"Thanks!" Joe says with a grin.

"Goodbye! Jacob, do you wanna say goodbye to Mr. Ryan?" Jill says to Ryan and then to Jacob.

"Bye bye!" Jacob says loudly as he waves with both hands and smiles ear to ear.

"Bye!" Ryan says with a chuckle and the interview ends.

After the interview and forty five minutes of stalling later, Jacob goes back to bed and to sleep and Jill and Joe celebrate the ringing of a New Year just the two of them :)
