Everything seemed so beautiful when he have her by his side, even this stupid traffic of Delhi. Here when she is sitting and blabbering in usual Anika style, He can't do anything but stare her. This lady was definitely made by God in his free time, with hard work and delicacy.

His thoughts were broken by horn sounds of vehicles from behind. He was so lost in his wife that he didn't notice the traffic got cleared. He looked embarassed and started the car. They came to Delhi by his plane and the journey from Delhi to Shimla was decidedto be done by car on Anika's insistence. He had to listen to her as one can't help it when he have a super beautiful and loving wife.

Anika was enjoying the views from the open window. The weather was cold due to the heavy rains. Shivaay asked his super cute wife to listen to him and close the window mirror because she had fever a day ago. But Anika being Anika didn't care about what he was saying.

It was half past 2 in the noon so they thought to have lunch. Shivaay wanted to go to a five star restaurant but how could Anika tolerate that.

Anika : Shivaay please, not In restaurant. Lets go and have lunch at a Dhaba.

Shivaay : Not at all. You are still not well. What if you fall sick again by eating that unhygenic food. We are getting late so no arguments. You need to take your medicine also.

Anika : No. I don't want to go to any restaurant. Please Shivaay pleaseee lets go to a Dhaba please please please...

Shivaay ( In an almost defeated tone ) : No Anika.
Anika made a face and started looking outside the window.

Shivaay : Anika !
*no response*

Shivaay : Anika please listen to me. It's good for you only.

*no response*

Shivaay shaked his head in defeat and sat in the car. He drove towards a Dhaba.

When they reached there, he looked at Anika who was still looking outside the window didn't notice that they are standing infront of a Punjabi Dhaba. Shivaay chuckled at her stubbornness and started opening her seat belt. She didn't look at him.

Anika : I'm not going to give you company. Go and have lunch with the manager of your so called restaurant. Who cares about me ?

Shivaay : You are the one about whom I care the most, Mrs. Oberoi. Just look at me once.

As Anika turned towards him, she found his face really close to hers. Shivaay cupped her cheeks and said in a hushed tone.

Shivaay : I can never see you sad, I can't tolerate this frown on your face and you know that really well, don't you ? That's why you always do this and make me agree to do what you want. Now please change your mood, I want you to smile.

He pecked her nose making her smile shyly. He also smiled at her silly behaviour. They went and sat on the cot which was actually quite uncomfortable for Shivaay while Anika laughed on his condition. Then, Shivaay wanted Anika to not eat oily food as it will be heavy but she ordered what she wanted.

Anika started eating as soon as the food arrived. But Shivaay was looking at her with a stupid smile as if she was the only person around him. He came out of his thoughts when Anika offered a morsel to him and he happily took it. She made him eat by her hands and the food actually seemed too delicious to him. He was eating what Anika offered to him with her own hands. Anika also knew that so she offered him a green chilli and he bit it without noticing it making everyone else laugh.

That's when Anika noticed the people who were sitting around and looking at them in compete aww especially because they saw Anika wearing her Choora ( Bridal bangles ). People thought them to be a newly married couple who are going for honeymoon.

After the lunch they continued their journey. On their way, there were many tourist destinations like Rock garden in Chandigarh, Jal Mahal in Pinjore, Christ church and sunset point in Kasauli. But Anika only wanted to go to Tara devi ( Also known as goddess of protection ) temple before Shimla.

Here, standing infront of the idol of the Goddess, Shivaay was looking at her as her eyes were closed, hands joined together and her face held calmness. He knew she would never pray for herself, Anika knew that Shivaay doesn't really believe much in God.

Shivaay ( In his mind, to the Goddess ) : I don't believe much in God and praying. I never really prayed. But if God is really our companion, I want my Anika to be always happy. I don't want to see her tears, I don't want her to feel sad. She is the best, she deserves the best. I don't know how, but you gifted this pure hearted Angel to me and I'll always be thankful to you for that.

Anika ( In her mind to the Goddess ) : Maa ( Mother ), I know Shivaay doesn't believe in God, he never prays. But he is not bad at heart. After Ma ( Avantika ) I thought I'll never love anyone to this extent, but I do. I love Shivaay more than my own life Maa. Please always be with him, bless him. You are the Goddess of protection, please always protect him from all the evils and keep him happy. He is the best and deserves the best, give him all the success, please never let any harm or sadness come to him.

Both of them finished their prayer at the same time and bent down to take blessing from the diety. A flower garland fell from the diety's hand. The Goddess showed that she has granted their respective wishes as the garland fell in their neck joining them as a couple. she had bound them together forever.

Shivaay kept waiting for Anika infront of his car. Suddenly she excused herself and went towards the small shops infront of the temple. He came here where they had parked their car. He was about to go and find her when she came running towards him.

She tied a thread that had a locket with a picture of Goddess around his neck. If it was anybody else, he would have never let him tie this. But it was Anika, so he had to let her do what she wants. Don't know why, but he feels that she owns him. He doesn't believe in all this but her contended smile was enough for him to let her do this.

Shivaay ( Pointing at the locket) : What's this ?

Anika : Locket.

Shivaay : I know that but why ?

Anika : It's because I want Devi ma to be with you always. This temple is of the Goddess of protection, I want you to be protected and happy always.

Shivaay : But for that you should wear this.

Anika ( Confused ) : What ? Why ?

Shivaay ( Caressing her cheek with his thumb ) : Because my happiness lies in you. I'm happy if you are happy and safe.

He was about to remove the locket but Anika stopped him.

Anika : I have this with me ( Pointing at her nuptial chain ). I know you will always protect me.

Shivaay : Itna bharosa hai mujh par ? *( this much trust in me ?)*

Anika : Itna ki aap soch bhi nhi sakte. *( You can't even imagine)*

Shivaay couldn't help feeling possessive and protective about her so he kissed her forhead with all the love he could pour out in the peck. After that both of them started their journey towards Shimla.

By the night they reached Shimla. Shivaay had booked a small cottage exclusively for themselves. He wanted to ensure Anika's safety when he will be out for work. He had decided to leave his security around the cottage in case he has to stay out for long hours.

Both of them freshened up and had their dinner. It was really very difficult for Shivaay to handle his over excited wife who fell in love with this small yet cozy cottage. She was not having dinner because of her excitement to see the place first.

Finally having no other option, he had to pull her and make her sit on his lap. He caged her by his one arm and started feeding her by the other hand. Her excitement was changed in a blush and she had her dinner silently.
After that it was medicine time, rather it was tantrum time. She was not at all a grown up girl when it comes to taking medicines for her own health, he concluded.

Shivaay : You are such a spoiled girl, Anika. Have medicine or else you are not going to see this whole place. I'll tuck you in the bed if you deny. Now have this tablet and this cough syrup.

Anika : I'm not a kid that you can tuck me into bed.

She stuck her tongue out and was about to run but Shivaay stopped her on time and picked her up in a swift motion. He put her on the bed. When she tried to get up, he stopped her. When she again tried, he came on top of her.

Shivaay : Now tell me, Mrs. Oberoi. You want to test me more, hmm ?

Anika : N..no S.. ahhh..

Anika held her head with one hand and Shivaay panicked seeing her cry in pain. As soon as he loosened his grip, Anika pushed him and ran out of the room showing him her thumb. He also ran behind her to catch her. Today she was definitely behaving like a kid so he had to become a parent.

She first went to kitchen, then towards the small flower garden. She was a flower lover so she stood there admiring the colourful flowers. But she had to run from there to save herself from her Husband who was panting heavily as if coming from a Marathon. She laughed seeing his condition and continued running.

After seeing the entire place she was going towards balcony. She didn't find Shivaay behind her so she was carefree. But out of nowhere Shivaay came in front of her and before she could run, he pulled her from her wrist and she collided with his chest.

Shivaay : You will pay for making me run so much, Mrs. Oberoi.

Anika : Sh..Shivaay actually...

Shivaay : Actually ?

Anika ( With a sweet face ) : I don't want to have that tablet and that bitter cough syrup. ( Making weird face ) It's yuck.

Shivaay chuckled seeing her expressions on the name of medicine.

Shivaay : Anika, if I were at your place and denying the medicines then what you would've done ?

Anika : Me ? I would've punished you.

Anika said in a flow but seeing Shivaay's smirk, she realised the blunder she has done.

Shivaay : Then you will also get punishment. And, your punishment is...

He started getting closer to her reducing the distance between their lips. Anika sensed his intentions so she immediately interrupted.

Anika : I... I should take my medicines.

She pushed Shivaay and ran from there towards their room followed by a laughing Shivaay. He saw her holding the pill and looking at it with keen interest. Then she looked at Shivaay and made a puppy face.

Shivaay : I'll give you punishment Then, I would love to....

Before he could come near her she gulped the pill. Shivaay gave her the could syrup also.

Anika ( to herself ) : Bagad billa, spoiled my mouth's taste.

Shivaay : I heard that ok. By the way I thought I'll give you this ( taking out a chocolate from his pocket ) after you take your medicine. But you are busy cursing me. Leave it.

Anika : Noooo no no. I didn't say anything.

She took the chocolate from his hand and sat on the bed to eat it. Shivaay got a call so he went to attend it. When he came back, he saw that she had already finished the chocolate.

Shivaay : Haww.... You finished the chocolate all alone ? Where's my share ?

Anika : Which share ? I was the one who took that bitter, poison like medicine. And you don't like sweet things. Rather you like bitter things like your kadwi kaali coffee ( bitter black coffee ).

Shivaay sat in front of her and put his hands on either sides of the headrest caging her between his arms.

Shivaay : If I don't like to taste sweet things, then I would never do this.

He kissed her her lips slowly. After breaking the kiss he looked at her blushing as well as surprised face. She hugged him out of shyness.

Shivaay wrapped his hands around her possesively and kissed her hair. It was a simple yet, perfect moment for him. He could live his whole life with her in his arms. This feeling is beyond words for him.

He looked at his locket that she had made him wear.

Shivaay ( In his mind ) : God, please give me the strength to protect her always, I don't want to break her trust.

He looked at her face as she fell asleep. He made her lay down and covered her with the duvet. He slept beside her taking her in his arms.
