Hello all!

Before you begin the story, we would like to remind you that this is a Fan-fiction. We have taken aspects from both the books and movies,  yet have also added in a lot of our own material into this story. We have also focused in on certain events more so than others. This means parts from the books or movies may not even be addressed as it doesn't help add anything to the story.

Please understand this!

Another BIG item we would like to address is the fact that, in this story, the Tonks family and the Malfoy family are NOT—let me repeat that—are NOT related whatsoever!

We understand that Andromeda Tonks (mother of Nymphadora) is a sister to Narcissa (meaning Nymphadora and Draco are cousins) in the canon Harry Potter universe. For this story, we have decided that Andromeda was only a good friend to Narcissa in Hogwarts and her maiden last name is White.

Another note (which is a rather minor but important detail) is that, in this story, Luna Lovegood will be in the same year as Harry Potter and our main character, Lily Tonks. We ask that you please remember this before commenting on it later within the story.

We will place T/W (trigger warnings) before chapters where there is:
- bullying behavior, such as name-calling, fat-shaming, and slut-shaming (mainly done by Draco—he does improve throughout the books, don't worry 😉)
- intense violence
- suicidal behaviors and thoughts
- intimate scenes(although this will be a more slow burn romance)

We do not take credit for any of the characters except for Libby Jo Tonks, Barbara and Bob Bones, Drew Terrier, Vivien (Hufflepuff first year) and Fredric Williams. The author of the Harry Potter books should be given credit for these other characters and the world of Harry Potter.

Now that the serious stuff is taken care of,  we'd like to say thank you for taking a chance on our book.

We began writing this together in September of 2020, amongst the rise of DracoTok as we thought it would be hilariously fun, which has proven correct!

My sister, Libby, is whom our main character is based on, so if you have any questions regarding our main character, I will gladly direct them to her. Her Wattpad account is  libbywaloway18

To clear things up, Libby is in fact, a Hufflepuff, while I (Madelyn Joy) am a Ravenclaw. You will see some digs and funny teasing jokes towards Ravenclaws and the other houses; it is ALL in good fun. All the houses are great in their own way, which Lily tries to remind everyone and herself, though she does tend to joke and tease about the other houses as well! ;)
