--BlackLight P.O.V.--
I was walking to my cave thinking about that girl ever since I saw her I could not get her face out of my head. I was walking with Orion to meet our clawmates. The one downside to having a skyfire earring, is that it heightens my other powers, like seeing the future. I walked into the cave where I would be staying for the next 6 months. I gazed over to where a scroll rack was, and immediately trotted towards it. Orion nurtured something along the lines
"Of course he's would do that" and claimed a top bunk. I went through the scrolls in the rack, they were mostly history, science, and other academic stuff. There was a map and a few fictional scrolls. I chose one of the fictional scrolls and started reading it. It was about a Seawing unnoticed and had a secret power within. I looked at the author and to my relief it was written by my favorite author. Turtle I knew he was friends with my dad and mom and was kind of jealous for that. I asked Orion
"Who is your favorite author?"
"I don't pay much attention to books, considering my parents"
I nodded.
Then a Mudwing came in, Burrow I assumed. He had a faint smile on his face. JMA had tried to make other tribes more comfortable. He chose the mud puddle, it barely covered up do his underbelly. He relaxed and sank into the pool. His snout above the mud. Me and Orion exchanged looks that said
How odd, what's with him?
Then a Sandwing came in, I suddenly wished I was like Mindreader with that vast mind. She had black diamonds down her scales like a big snake.
I took a wild guess "Diamond, right?"
She grinned showing wicked sharp teeth.
"That's me, since you know mine that puts me at a disadvantage, what's yours?"
she had a smooth voice, and pricing black eyes, this made me nervous. I extended a talon she shook it "BlackLight"
"BlackLight, nice to meet you, you got a cool name. And who is your friend over there?"
I looked towards Orion and pulled him over here and placed him I front of her
"H-h-hi, I-I-I'm Orion"
"Quite the linguist" she muttered
"Like the stars?" She asked
He looked surprised, no one ever really knows the origin of his name. It usually takes a while for him to warm up to girls. He seemed to relax and said
"Yes, exactly like the stars, how'd you know?"
"I have an observatory, I like to study the stars" she said
"Really!? You should show me this sometime"
"You would really like to see it? No one ever really pays attention to my hobbies"
"Of course I would!"
I decided to let them geek out and left the cave. As I was walking out I bumped into a girl, she fell and I caught her. I looked into gorgeous sea-green eyes and realized it's her the girl. I helped her up, my cheeks red with embarrassment. She said,
"I should have-"
I cut her off saying
"No, no, it was my fault, I should have been watching, I was to busy paying attention to my friend getting moony-eyed towards Diamond over there"
I noticed that I still held her talon I quickly let go. She giggled, a sound that would have made Angels jealous. I asked
"I didn't catch your name"
"Starfish, yours?"
"BlackLight"
"Nice to meet you BlackLight"
"The pleasure is mine"
We continued to exchange words. This is probably the best day of my life I thought.

Finally I am done, this is kind of a long chapter, probably the longest one, I hope this wasn't too flowery, I also hope you enjoyed this chapter!
