Week 2
It all started with a big bang. Nobody was ready for it.
Lizzie was sitting on one of her lilypads, resting her feet in the water and casually conversed with one of her axolotl guards.
But suddenly the ground shook and a distant explosion was heard, and the ocean queen fell into the water and joined the other axolotl. Since she were an axolotl, she didn’t mind being in the water but the event still shocked her.
As the selfless fish she was, her mind immediately raced to Jimmy, her baby brother, and Joel, her husband. Her eyes flickered to Mezalea, hoping to see Joel.
She didn’t spot him. She was just about to swim to the Mesa biome, but realised that everyone else probably were affected by the explosion and would want to meet in the jungle where their, for some reason, meeting place is.
With an uneasy feeling she flew up in the sky. She wasted rockets trying to get to the jungle as fast as possible. She felt somewhat relieved when she saw Joel quickly flying through the sky.
But no sign of Jimmy.
She landed smoothly on the ground, right next to the meeting place, and found that some of the other rulers already were there. Most of them looked worried, but Joey looked absolutely furious. What could have made him that mad?
She glanced at Joel every now and then whilst waiting for the rest to arrive. He honestly looked bored, as if he was going to fall asleep any second. Typical Joel.
Soon everyone were there, except from Jimmy and Fwhip. This made Lizzie extraordinarily worried. The cod guy and the salmon guy. Who knew what kind of trouble they could’ve gotten themselves into?
Most of the other empresses and emperors were quietly chatting amongst each other about the recent happenings, the corruption, but Lizzie was on the verge to leave just to search for the two missing.
But just before she fired the rockets, Jimmy came running. He looked unharmed, but really shaken up.
“Fwhip’s gone. He’s done for good,” Jimmy announced with a shaky voice.
“W-what?” Sausage whispered with a terrified expression. “What happened?”
“He tried to mix salmon and cod and-” Jimmy begun before he got interrupted by the very caring Joel.
“So that caused the explosion?” he questioned with an eyebrow raised.
“...yes.”
“With other words, you two are the reason my empire is on fire?” Joey snapped and readied a bow.
“What?! No?” Jimmy frowned. Fwhip seemed to be completely forgotten at this point.
“I worked years to build that thing up, and you burn it down!” he shouted. He was really, really mad.
“What’s happening here?” another voice called, and everyone turned around to spot fWhip. His clothes were burnt and he had a lot of cuts, but he was alive.
“Oh yeah Jimmy, Fwhip’s really done for,” he said and rolled his eyes.
“Shut up, Joel!” Lizzie exclaimed. “Jimmy’s had a really hard time, so there’s no need to mock him!”
“There’s always a need to mock Jimmy!” he said defiantly.
“Okay calm it you two, we need to sort this situation out,” Gem told them off. “Relationship problems can be taken care of later.”
“How are you alive.” Jimmy said, eyes wide. It wasn’t even a question, it was more like a statement.
“I sacrificed this random person called Iskall. I think they’re from Hermitcraft?” he said thoughtfully.
“You what?” Pearl asked. It looked like she was unable to believe him.
The conversation after that was very odd. Joey was super mad that his empire was gone, Jimmy was still shocked that Fwhip was alive, Gem and Pearl were absolutely horrified over the fact that Iskall was dead and Lizzie almost threw a trident in Joel’s leg.
A normal day on the Empires server, with other words.
They soon agreed that all of them would go and check on their empires. Joel was the first one to leave to avoid the anger of his wife for constantly mocking Jimmy, but Lizzie left soon after him.
But she was terrified once she reached the ocean... Or what once was the ocean.
The water was gone. All that was left was dry sand, stone where the wager was supposed to be. Dead fish and axolotls were scattered around and her empire looked sad.
A quick glance at Joel’s empire made her even more terrified. A big tentacle had split the Matral Palace into pieces. But what made her terrified what the sight of her husband, laying on the shore with his head crushed.
She was just about to check on him, see if was against the odds alive, but she couldn’t as a big wave of water suddenly crashed against her. Yes, she was a fish, but when the water hit her she turned back into a human.
And so the water swallowed her.

Lizzie was awaken by the sound of a goats beautiful screaming. She was alive. She was fine.
She realised that a lot of animals were surrounding her, checking on her with a worried expression. Once they realised that Lizzie was awake, they backed a bit to give her space.
The memory of the old empires was fresh. She still felt like the Ocean Queen.
But the only problem was that she wasn’t anywhere near that place.
She shifted into a standing position and saw that she stood in a big, untouched forest. She suddenly were inspired to begin a whole new empire from scratch.
But first she needed to find the others.
She sensed the love of her life being on the other side of the mountain, so she crossed that to find a very tall god.
“Oh god Joel, you’re fine!” she screamed and rushed to pull him into a hug.
“Aye, let go, who are you and how do you know my name?” he asked. His height was very intimidating.
“...You’re kidding me right?” Lizzie frowned. “Y’know, The Mezalean king Joel, yourself? I saw your head being crushed, but I’m so happy you’re alive!”
“The Mezalean king? What are you talking about? I’ve never seen you before,” Joel stated. “Are you sure you didn’t hit your head?”
Lizzie felt that she was tearing up. Did he really not remember? What if nobody remembered?
What if they all had forgotten what they used to be?

Yeah I got really lazy towards the end-
