Fear clutched Sveara's heart, nearly suffocating it. She gazed out on the scene below. The full moon painted the treetops in a soft silver glow. What a gorgeous night, she thought. Suddenly she turned her gaze to the precious egg tucked soundly in the leafy pouch strapped across her chest. Sveara's blood turned cold, as her voice, barely a whisper, rang true, "yet it will all be stripped of it's beauty of I don't keep you safe."
