Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a girl named Winter. Winter was an ordinary girl with an adventurous spirit that always had her seeking excitement in the most unexpected places. Her life took an extraordinary turn when she crossed paths with a mysterious vampire named Karina.
One evening, as the sun was setting and casting a beautiful golden hue across the sky, Winter decided to explore the abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town. Little did she know that this decrepit house held a secret, a secret that would change her life forever.
As Winter stepped into the mansion, she felt a chill crawl up her spine. The air was thick with an eerie energy that made the hair on her arms stand up. But Winter, being the fearless girl she was, continued her exploration undeterred.
It wasn't long before Winter stumbled upon a hidden chamber within the mansion, dimly lit by a single flickering candle. She held the flashlight straight as she scroll around the room, continue to look through drawers until noticing a small box on the table beside her.
Having an eager thought for what's inside the box , Winter decided to open the box. There placed a beautiful silver necklace with ruby gems attached, creating colour harmony attracting people's gaze.
Winter had no concept of the power this necklace carried to bring eternal love and connection. Curiosity got the better of her as she held it with her on the way home, unknowingly setting a course that would intertwine her destiny with a dangerous creature.

On a seemingly ordinary day at school, Winter dropped down her bag as her seatmate, Ningning laid down lazily on the table. She taped the girl's shoulder, signaling her to move aside. Ningning slowly raised her head before gesturing herself so Winter can sit down.
"I hate school" Ningning wined as Winter sat down beside her. Taking notice of the shiny necklace on her friend's neck.
With a big grin, Ningning hits Winter's shoulder lightly before talking in a joking tone "Girl, from who did you got that from? I know you don't usually spend money on yourself!"
Winter frowned slightly at her talkative friend, scared of Ningning having the wrong idea, she responded immediately.
"I got it in an abandoned house, don't jump into conclusion!" Winter said, clearly annoyed.
"Jeez. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed today? Also, i told you to avoid those dangerous places! Are you ok?" Ningning asked worriedly as she scanned her friend for any injuries.
"Besides from being scared as hell when seeing a bat on the way out, I'm technically fine" Winter decided to lighten up the atmosphere and crack a joke like her usual self.
"Sorry.., I'm just not in a great mood because of the loads of homework we have" Winter apologised shortly after, sighing before drifting onto the table.
"Yup, high schools have insane work loads. I can relate to that but how did you fine that necklace in an abandoned house? It looks rather expensive and not an ordinary item that you often see around here"
"I don't know either.." Winter shook her head, not having a clue of how that happened.
"By the way, can i copy your homework?" Ningning asked deviously before Winter shot daggers at her and toss the book into Ningning's hands.
Ningning opened her mouth to say "thanks" but the teacher already settled down the class and Winter being the class president she is, ignored Ningning and bowed to the teacher.

It is currently 4:30 pm when the class dismissed, giving Winter and Ningning lots of time for the two best friends to hang out.
Sipping the hot tea while watching her friend reads a random vampire fantasy book, Winter just rolled her eyes at Ningning.
"You know vampires aren't real, right?"
"Actually, they do" Ningning corrected Winter's accusation and began explaining about how vampires are living in the current world.
"Basically, there are realms where vampires wander around. Those realms can be an abandoned location, forests, or just any ordinary houses. You see, your neighbor might be a vampire but you just don't realize-"
"What kind of nonsense is that?" Winter let out a small chuckle in disbelief, doubting her friend and wondering if she had read too much fantasy stories.
"You're no fun!" Ningning sulked at Winter's comment before she looks at her friend dead in the eyes.
"And pleaseeee stop going around at night, i can hear your footsteps leaving the dormitory. It's disturbing my beauty sleep"
"It's not like you always stays up playing game or something" Winter drawn her lips into a fine line, raising her eyebrows at her friend.
"Well, we also live with giselle so she could easily be awoken too" Ningning look over at Winter, reasoning herself.
"But don't she always sleeps at her friend's house? Karina If I'm not mistaken" Winter thinks to herself, wondering about the mystery person that she never got the chance to meet.
"Oh righttt, but I don't understand how you could enjoy those trips. It's clearly dangerous" Ningning tried to convince her friend, not wanting her to get in any trouble because of the unusual leisure she has.
"For most circumstances, yeah. But I always study that place before I go, I always take everything into consideration before going"
"Well, you do you, I'm gonna go set up my pc" Ningning informed Winter before leaving the room.
Waving her friend goodbye, her eyes drifted to the book sitting on the table. Drawn by an invisible force, she boldly picked it up and open the first page: "Eternal Desires Unveiled"
