    James' POV
   The next day, we all got ready, including Remus who we insisted stay in the house with us before we took him and Harry shopping. 

   Lily was helping Harry get his nice dark blue suit on. Harry was shifting from foot to foot. Probably feels uncomfortable wearing a suit, or getting dressed by his mum. Or possibly both.

   We went to to the kitchen to find Remus dressed nicely, in a brown suit and black tie. "Nice to see you clean up nicely," I said to him.

   "Shut up," he replied.

   I then said, "Someone's moody today."

   He just glared at me. Geez, he is moody.

   We sat down and ate breakfast that their house elves, Marlee and Marian, (don't blame me with the names) had prepared for us.

   Once we finished, we all gathered around the floo and got in by two's. I took Harry and Lily and Remus went together. Once we got to the Ministry, Professor Dumbledore was waiting for us.

   "Ah," he said. "You've come alas! Let's go, he will be waiting." And with that, all five of us went to the Minister.

   Dumbledore opened the door and Cornelius looked up angrily. "How many time have I told you to knock befor-" he cut off and stared at Lily and I.

   "Y-you're dead. H-how?" He stuttered.

   "We do not know Minister," Lily said. "But, we would like a trial for our friend, Sirius Black."

   The Minister's face turned red. "He will not get a trial! He murdered Pettigrew, he deserves to be arrested!"

   "Without a trial?" A small voice said. I looked down and saw Harry, his face red with embarrassment. "My friend told me everyone deserves a trial. She stumbled upon Sirius Black in the library at Hogwrts one day and it said he didn't get a trial. Just arrested once found at the scene of the crime.

   "That doesn't seem fair, sir. Everyone deserves a trial." Harry concluded. Marlin, this kid might just take after Lils!

   Fudge looked down at Harry. "Who are you to question my authority?"

   Harry shrinks back and looks down. Lily then frowned. "He isn't questioning your authority. He is simply saying everyone get a trial, no matter what they did."

   The room was silent for a full 5 minutes before Remus spoke up. "Sirius Black may have done something bad, but he still deserves a trial. A long awaited trial."

   "He murdered your Pettigrew, told  you-know-who where you were." Cornelius said.

   "Sirius was not our secret keeper. Peter Pettigrew was." I had said. "Peter revealed us."

   Fudge looked appalled. "He will get a trial. It will be scheduled two mon-"

   "Tomorrow," Lily said.

   "I'm sorry?" The Minister said.

   "Trial will be tomorrow. He deserves that. Use veritasyrum on him to make him say the truth." Lily looked so fierce saying that, it made me want to kiss her. Right then and there.

   "We will do that. We will owl you the time of the trial."

   She nodded a thanks and grabbed Harry's hand and mine and walked out, with Remus following.

   We all aparated home and we sat on the couch and arm chair.

   "That was a very brave thing you did Harry," Lily said. "You stood up for an innocent person."

   Harry simply smiled.

   Padfoot, I thought. We got you a trial. Now to hope we gave a a chance you deserve. Because, I swear to Merlin, if you did kill someone, even if he betrayed us, I don't know if I can forgive you.
