Sirius's POV

We apparated back to. . . it looks like Potter Manor. They live in Potter Manor? Of course the would, it's their family home. It doesn't look like they've been here long, or it would've had pictures and everything to make it homey. I turned to face Lily and James. Gods, to just see them again. . . 

   I turned to Remus. . . what did he think of me all these years? Did he think of me as a traitor? Is that why he isn't speaking? 

   I then turned to Harry. My Godson. He looked probably no older than nine? He seemed shy. I'm not quite sure. Why is nobody talking? 

"Well, it's too quiet! Talk! How are you two alive? Do you forgive me? D-" I was suddenly cut off. 

Lily just hugged me. I thought she said no more hugging till I showered? I chuckled. "Well Little Red, what did you say earlier? I thought it was no more hugs till I was showered and clean?" 

"Oh, shut up, Black!" Little Red said. 

James chuckled. "So Padfoot, any idea how long we were 'dead' and you were arrested?" 

I looked at James. "No, I don't-"

Remus interrupted us. "Almost eleven years." 

E-eleven years? That can't be! I looked around and Remus had a grim face. We left him, suffering from his transformations, left him alone with everything. . . My heart sank. 

We left Remus alone for almost eleven years, and Harry as well. Leaving Harry with. . . did he actually go to Lily's sister, or did he get to go with Remus? 

"Remus, I'm sorry. I-"

Remus gave me a look and I stopped. How does he do that? 

"Did Harry go to Lily's family?" I asked. 

Lily whipped around and looked angry. "You let them take him to Petunia's!? You didn't fight to keep your Godson with you? Why! You! You. . . ass! Because of you,-"

"Lily! It's not his fault. Don't do any name calling," James tried. 

"Stay out of this, Potter!" she spat at James. then she turned back to me. "Because you didn't take him, he was treated like shit at my sister's! Why didn't you take Harry, Black! Tell me!" 

Everyone stood there, gaping. Except Harry, who wasn't there. Where did he go? 

"Well Black, I'm waiting." Lily said. 

"Because I had to go after Pettigrew for betraying you! And where's Harry? He's not here."

Lily looked around and panicked. "Oh, gods, he ran off somewhere because we started yelling. . ."

She left the room, going to look for Harry. James looked at me and said, "Make yourself at home. We'll be back." And with that, he left and went after Lily. 

Remus sat on the couch and I sat next to him. "You know, I understand why Lily would be mad at you. They told me yesterday, of what Harry was able to tell them and what they could see. He wasn't treated like a person. Reminds me of what she told of Severus, before they could make up. Harry went through shitty things in that house. Always put down, belittled."

What? No. My own Godson? "That can't be true! H-that can't have-" 

"It's true, Sirius. He was treated like that." James walked in. "It isn't fair. And I guess, it wasn't fair that we treated Sniv-Severus like scum." 

Remus looked up. "Find Harry?" 

James nodded. "He was hiding in his room."

"He was treated like that. Your own son was was treated like that." I said. 

"We were planning on confronting Petunia and Vernon tomorrow. We, Lily and I, want you two to go with us." 

Remus replied. "Of course we'll go. They hurt your child. I understand."

"Thank you, Remus. Sirius, would you go as well?" Lily said as she came in with Harry behind her. 

"Of course I am!" I replied. "I'm backing my nephew and Godson up!"

Harry looked up at me curiously. "You're my uncle? And Godfather?"  He said in a small voice. 

"I am. And tomorrow, I'm going to show you what me and your parents and other uncle can do when someone pisses us off or messes with our family."
