It was a cool Winters day and three boys (one could call handsome) were gathered curiosuly around another (handsome) boy who's mind seem to have wandered somewhere off on his way back to the common room. He lay there limp. His hazel eyes staring at a spot in the ceiling. Unfocused, barely breathing. So the three boys decided to do what they thought was best. They poked him with their feet.

"You know, I don't think this working." The shoulder length dark boy spoke.
"Really? Never would've guessed." Said an irritated, tired sandy haired boy.
Before the dark haired boy could retort a small, delirious giggle erupted from the body at their feet. The group looked at each other in concern.
"Er right. We should probably get him off the ground." Said the tired looking boy.
So with great effort they hauled the lanky, hazel eyed boy onto his four poster bed.
Thats when the rounded face boy spoke.

"Remus," He said turning to the sandy haired boy. "Sirius," He continued looking at the Dark haired one. "D'you think we should take him to Madame Pomfrey?" He asked, concerned.
"No." Remus said firmly. "No, Peter, I think there's one last thing we haven't tried yet."
Sirius and Peter looked at him confused. In a dramatic gesture, Remus cleared his voice.
"Well, hello LILY." He said loudly and of the course, the hazel eyed boy bolted up right.

"Where?" he exclaimed, head whipping back and forth. Sirius let out a booming laugh and Remus and Peter followed suit. The boy, realising he had been fooled put on his biggest pouty face. Eventually their laughter died down.
"But seriously James, mate, are you all right you seemed a bit gone for a second. I thought the dementors had got you or something." Sirius said, shivering at the last part.
James thought for a second. What had he been doing? His thoughts flew while Peter was unnecessarily retelling the whole story from when they found James slumped in the dormitory.

"And then Remus yelled Lily and -" Suddenly it all came flooding back to him. Flashes of red hair echoed through his brain.

"Oh god, James don't leave us again." Sirius whined as the glass look came across James's face again. This snapped him back.

James jumped up on the bed suddenly and at this point the other three boys were thinking that their roommate had finally lost it.

"I remember now!" He exclaimed with a giant smile that was deeply etched into his face. "She said yes!"
"Who said yes? Wait McGonnagal said we could get extra credit for missing Transfiguration and still getting everything getting top marks?" Sirius said excitedly.
An annoyed look spread across James's face.
"No way, something way better than that." He said dreamily and slumped down on his bed. A few seconds passed when Remus let out an audible gasp.
"Lily said yes, didn't she?"
James nodded so vigorously his head nearly fell off.
Sirius let out a squeal that was higher pitch than most girls could manage.
"Oh my god! Give us all the details." He said waving his hands excitedly.
"And when did my best mate become a ten year old girl." James asked but the wide smile was still clear on his face. Sirius just rolled his eyes. Remus signalled from James to continue.

"Well it started like this..." He started.

Meanwhile seconds before, Lily herself had just entered the girls dormitory across the hall.
"Hey Lils," Alice greeted. "How was your da-" She was cut off by a high pitch scream. Alice nearly fell off her bed. "What the hell was that?"She exclaimed covering her ears.
"That, my dear Alice, was probably Sirius Black finding out I just said yes to James Potter." Lily said. But Alice had already gone back to her homework but let out a small laugh that showed she wasn't really listening. Lily just rolled her eyes and started counting. She was up to seven when Alice looked up.
"Wait, WHAT?"

{omg sorry guys this is probably the longest I've gone without updating so sorry. My excuse is just the usual which is the high amounts of homework school likes to supply you. But hope you like this one and I have a few good ideas coming up I think:) )
