The Underworld
Where Jungkook is Hades, and Jimin is Persephone.
20,000 words.
(A slightly apology for this one. I loved writing it, but, it does get slightly confusing with pronouns, and who is who. I edited it as best as it could, but if it's still confusing comment on the confusion and I'll try and fix it up! Stay safe my lovelies :) 💜

"Now, let me explain how this world works. You're young, and new to this my child, but I will tell you how this is all connected. It's all a bit...complicated, but in a way, it is beautiful. My name my child. Say my name."
"Seokjin?"
"Yes. But my child, that is not my name. It's my chosen name. And you've chosen a name too."
"...Jimin isn't my real name?"
"But it is. You see, we're all born again as a god or goddess, and our minds change but we're the same person. Our history is the same. All that changes is our new memories we make. You my child, are Persephone, or Kore. I am Demeter. I chose this form and name for myself. You chose your name and form."
"Okay...I'm ready to listen to it all."
Jin smiled. Jimin sat down on the grass before laying down.
"My child. You've been recently reincarnated. You're a young goddess, so your reincarnations happen more frequently than others. Our main three gods, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, all rarely, if ever, reincarnate. You reincarnate once you believe you've grown as much as you can, you spring beauty."
Jimin tilted his head in confusion.
"I watched you grow, and mature, and gain knowledge until you decided you had nothing left to learn. You decomposed like a flower, and we're born again to who you now are. In spring, you came back."
"What did I use to do?"
"You spent your days in the fields, growing flowers and helping the animals. You went out to study and learn about nature from the people, before you came back to me broken. I promise you, I will not let you fall again. You've much to learn my child."
"Do you reincarnate?"
"I do, but not often. I've been me for...quite some time, but I know I've still got much to learn."
"Demeter." A new voice joined them.
Jin turned. "I thought I told you not to call me that Hermes."
"Please, call me Taehyung if you're going to be rude."
"Tae, please, I'm in the middle of something."
"You don't want to know the news?"
Jin sighed, as Taehyung grinned. Jimin listened patiently. "What is it?"
"Hades reincarnated." Taehyung continued to have a grin on his face, one Jimin couldn't read.
Jin's eyes went wide before he returned to normal. "Oh really?"
"When does a big three reincarnate?" Jimin asked, looking up at Taehyung.
"When their loved one dies. They only reincarnate once their destined queen or king dies."
Jin watched Taehyung's expression. "You must not speak of when Persephone reincarnated. Do you understand?" Jin was serious, and Jimin felt confused. "Speak a different month, a different week, a different day. I didn't think this would be Persephone's future."
"Jin...I promise. Jimin will be just fine." Taehyung gave Jimin a kind smile. "Who says it's his destiny?"
"Fate decides. Hermes, please leave now."
"Ah...please call me Tae." Taehyung nodded and left.
"Jin...what was that about?"
"Adult things my child. I'll keep you safe, don't worry."
"What will happen to me?"
"Nothing. I'll keep you safe."
____
Jimin ran through the fields, playing with his friend nymphs. Hide and seek, tag, Marco Polo, whatever games they wanted to play. A safe place to play.
"My child. May I speak with you?" Jimin suddenly heard Jin's voice and stopped running. The nymphs all disappeared.
"Yes mother?" Jimin looked up at Jin. "Your hair is longer than usual. Are you tired?"
He smiled. "You notice the little things as usual. It's autumn, and soon it will be winter. We must prepare for the coldness."
"Will your shrines not be prayed to?"
"Not in winter. And I will be weaker because of it. But you my child, there is a way you can still be strong, although, I'm not sure if you'll like the idea."
"You wish for me to stay strong during the winter?"
"Yes. To keep our land here fresh with abundance of flowers and greenery."
"Oh! I'd like to help!"
"Then you'll stay in a greenhouse I've made. It'll keep the cold out, and keep your youth."
"Will I still be able to run and play?"
"No. The greenhouse is only so big."
"Will I be able to see my friends?"
"There will be some nymphs in the house."
"Okay...so I'll be mostly alone."
"Yes. But, you'll make this land grow my child."
"...okay." Jimin looked down. This is how his winter would go? This is how his time would be spent? He wasn't going to be learning in there. He wasn't going to be playing. He wasn't going to be growing. "How will I keep my strength?"
"Don't worry my child."
"Am I not allowed to worry?"
"You're spring. There's no need to worry."
"There are many things to worry about. What happened to my last form that I needed to reform? You don't tell me much."
Jimin stared at Jin, though his eyes were blank. "You were heartbroken. I don't want that to happen again."
"Jin..."
"Persephone."
"Yes, Jin." Jimin hyung his head low, knowing he'd only use his name if he was done speaking.
____
"So how was your winter..."
"How do you think?" Jimin spoke bitterly, glaring at the ground.
"How many years has it been now?"
Jimin thought for a moment. "Perhaps...around 2000? That's a lot of winters alone."
"Oh sweet Zeus..."
"You're telling me..."
"So Jimin, does Demeter know of your visits to me?"
"Well, no. I think he wouldn't think it's worth it."
"Everyone needs therapy."
"Thank you Hoseok. You are the god of medicine after all."
Hoseok smiled in response, the two of them simply looking out over the land.
"Jimin...I'm certain you aren't certain of your future. But do you have any ideas or plans for getting out of your mothers clutches? The winters are wearing you out."
"My future...When was the last time my future was mine?"
"You're being very pessimistic. Brainstorm instead?"
"Ah, okay. Let's see...I could run away, live with someone else, get married, or die."
"I would invite you to live with me, but your mother isn't particularly fond of me."
"Or most people."
"Jimin."
"Ah, sorry. Well...maybe your sister and you can share me."
"If you stay in male form, she can't have you."
"Ah, right."
"I'll ask around. Maybe Yoongi or Namjoon will take you."
"Who?"
"Oh dear child. Hestia and Aphrodite. Were you raised under a rock?"
"A greenhouse actually."
Hoseok gave a small snort. "Very funny. Now, I must go before he notices you're with me. Next week as usual?"
"Yep. Please. Thank you so much Apollo. I'll be sure to pray to you a bit more."
Hoseok laughed. "There's no need for that! You owe me nothing more than your company."
"Really?" Jimin beamed up at him.
"Yes really. I'll see you next week."
Jimin watched Hoseok walk away into the rising sun, one becoming the other. Jimin felt lonely again.
____
Bitter.
That's the closest word Jimin could come up with to describe how he felt.
Absolute bitterness.
This winter was cold, and harsh, and his time was spent keeping the land green and nurtured. While Demeter slept. He had to work. Jimin sat on his bed, letting his magic flow through him into the world. He didn't feel amazing. The land showed that.
As day became night, Jimin laid to sleep for himself, but he felt off. Perhaps, he felt watched.
"If anyone is out there...I'd love to talk..." Jimin spoke to the abyss that was the greenhouse.
"To talk? I can talk."
"Who are you?" Jimin felt slight fear from the voice. "How long have you been here?"
"Oh, I just slithered in. It looked like a warm place to stay."
"Let me see you." Jimin sat up in his bed. "I'd like to speak to you and see you."
"Okay...I'm not exactly in my correct form."
A small snake slithered into a clearing from all of the grass and greenery around.
"Oh? Are you a god?" Jimin laid forward on his stomach, hands holding up his head.
The snake curled up. "I'm just tired of where I am. I'm using this snake to travel a bit."
"Where are you from?"
"Many questions, many questions. What about you? What are you doing cooped up in here?"
"Ah..." Jimin sighed, watching the snake intently. "My mother wishes to use my powers to keep our land plentiful while he rests."
"That's using you."
"Yes. But I recover quite quickly because of springtime."
"Ahhhh...you're dear Persephone. Aren't you?"
"Dear?" Jimin tilted his head. "How cute."
The snake buried its head and spoke quietly. "It's not cute..."
"It's endearing. I get called child. Nothing fun."
"You quite like talking it seems."
"I do. And well...you're the first...god...snake...I've talked to in a while."
"Winter is long, isn't it."
"I hate it! It's so...lonely."
"Winter is beautiful." The snake raised its head. "It's beautiful when you aren't here. Do not be rude to the season."
Jimin giggled a little. "Why did you get so offended? Tell me what I'm missing."
The snake gave a confused exhale. "You've never once seen a winter?"
"When I was young. But, it's been a long time."
"Well, there's snow, and it's cold. Everything is quiet, because everyone is inside with their family and friends, and everyone tends to bake and become a family again. You know...I think winter is the best because of family. I love watching families reunite."
"How do you watch them reunite? I wish I could do that."
"Demeter never visits you?"
"No. He sleeps."
"Ah."
Jimin waited for an answer to his first question. "...soooo, how do they reunite?"
Jimin watched him pause for a minute. "I watch them greet one another, then walk home together."
"Who are you?"
The snake paused again. "It won't matter. You'll never be able to meet me in person. Or again, most likely. May I sleep here tonight?"
Jimin felt his heart shatter. Perhaps the only god who attempted, and succeeded, in getting in was about to never come back again. He never felt lonely once since he was here. Who was this? His voice was soft and kind. He could probably sleep to it. "On two conditions. One, you sleep on the bed, I can't have you on the floor. And two...you come back soon. The winter is harsh and cold. And I'm alone."
The snake laughed, and Jimin felt his heart skip a beat. His laugh, oh gods, what was this feeling??? His chest hurt a lot.
"Okay. What odd requests." He slithered up to Jimin, who picked him up and got comfortable. The snake curled up beside him.
"Goodnight snake."
"Goodnight my dear."
____
"How was your winter?" Hoseok asked, but it seemed he already knew the answer.
"You're not going to believe this...but I met someone. Or, well, a snake. He slithered in and talked to me one night, and he kept coming back. It was so nice to have someone to talk to."
"Oh? Jimin, that sounds so much nicer. And you seem so much happier."
"I am!" Jimin laughed, Hoseok smiling.
"I'm glad. When will you come and visit the rest of us?"
"Ah...Jin said soon. I haven't even met all of the gods."
"You'll love some of them, and hate the others. I promise you that." Hoseok laughed.
"Will you convince Jin if I can't go? I really want to."
"I'll try my hardest. If anything, Aphrodite will be able to."
"Who is that? I'd love to meet them. Ohhh, I just love the idea of parties."
Hoseok smiled. "You really would love parties. They're so much fun."
"Then please convince my mother. He goes to them doesn't he?"
"He does. Jin loves dancing."
"I do too!" Jimin pouted. "Why doesn't he want me to do anything fun?"
Hoseok sighed. "He doesn't want you to get tainted by the world. You know...stay pure and holy and shit like that."
"The more he restricts me the more I want to do those things."
"Well." Hoseok laughed. "My sister might be able to steal you for some fun."
"Artemis?"
"Yeah. She's got a girls only kind of thing. Maybe Jin will let you do that?"
"Mm...what does she do?"
"Hunt."
"Then I can't." Jimin pouted more. "He wouldn't want me doing anything dangerous. Plus...I don't know if I can change my form."
"I thought about it more, and you are a goddess technically...so I think you could."
"Well, either way. Male form, and hunting. I can't go."
"Then maybe a party soon. I'll talk to him."
"Thank you Hoseok. Thank you for being here with me."
"Of course Jiminie. I want to take care of you." Hoseok smiled at him, and Jimin felt warmth.
"You have to go huh."
"I do. But I'll see you soon."
"Bye Hoseok..."
"Bye Jimin."
____
"Really Demeter? Really?! I can't do anything! I can't leave our land. I can't meet new people. I can't even meet new gods for gods sakes! Why are you keeping me here like a pet? I just want to leave and explore..." Jimin broke down as another winter began.
Jin started cleaning and preparing the greenhouse.
"I want to keep you safe. This...this is the best option. Otherwise, you'll leave and come back and reincarnate again, and I don't want that...to happen again for a long time. It was so painful to watch you wither..." Jin winced.
"Jin..." Jimin softened his tone. "Not letting me do anything is worse than me learn too much."
"Jimin, there's more to it that I don't wish to explain. Please. Tomorrow, please go into the greenhouse."
"Yes, mother." Jimin hung his head and walked off into the woods. He sat alone, the nymphs leaving him to himself.
"Oh...my dear, you look sad. What is it?"
Jimin's heart leaped with joy at the sound of his voice. "Snake?"
"Well, I'm actually a bird this time." Jimin looked up to the trees to see a large, black crow.
"Oh, how beautiful. You have a lovely coat."
He laughed, and Jimin's heart ascended. "Why, thank you dear. I wanted to look attractive just for you." The crow flew down towards Jimin.
Jimin's instincts made him reach out to pet him, but he retracted his hand. "Oh! I'm sorry. I got distracted. You're so beautiful though."
"Oh, dear you may pet me. I don't mind. It's like playing with my hair." He hopped closer.
"Okay...if you say so." Jimin started to pet him, and the crow tilted his head in appreciation. "Will you be with me for winter again?"
"If you'd want me too. I was hoping to see you today to ask. But you can't tell your mother, okay? He'd...not like that."
"Okay." Jimin smiled. "I won't tell him."
"Good. Thank you...sorry it seems so...sketchy. But gods tend to hold grudges over everything now a days."
"Oh? My mother has a grudge against you?"
"He has a grudge against most gods."
"So you are a god."
"I thought we established that."
"Well, I guess. Not many people can shape shift. Well, I wouldn't know." Jimin sighed.
"Ah...still a mama's child. How...interesting."
"It's not. He's been like this since I reincarnated." Jimin rolled his eyes, still petting the crow.
"Oh? When was that?"
"Oh, I dunno. I guess it's been...3000 years?"
The crow squawked. "3000? Exactly?"
"I think so. Why?"
The crow jumped out of Jimin's arms. "My dear, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow, then every night after that. Okay?"
"Okay? Why do you have to leave."
"I have preparations to make. Many of them."
"O-okay..."
"I'll be back tomorrow my dear, I promise. But I need to go!" The crow flew away, looking back at him quite often.
"Jimin? Jimin!" Demeter called to him, and Jimin laid down, pretending he was just relaxing.
"Yes?"
"Oh, there you are. I swore I heard voices, but the nymphs don't come over here. What're you doing here?"
"I wanted to be alone..."
"Are you alright my child?" Seokjin sat next to him.
"I just...never mind. I'll be fine."
Jin pet Jimin's hair. "I'm sorry that I'm being so tough on you. But...do you still wish to know why?"
"Am I old enough to know?"
"Well...yes, because you're of age to marry..."
"Oh. You're not marrying me off are you?"
"No, I'm not. But, do you remember the day I was explaining this world to you? And do you remember when Hermes came to speak of news?"
"Yes, I do."
"And he said that Hades reincarnated. Well...you two...reincarnated...on the same day." Jin's voice broke. "Do you know what that means, my child?"
"N-no..."
"That means you're his past lover. When you came back to me as your last reincarnation, it was when I let you roam the world for yourself. You must've fallen in love with him, and he must've had to leave, otherwise you never would've come home to me like that."
"I...so I reincarnated from a broken heart?"
"Yes. But if you're truly destined to be with Hades...that means...you'll have a future of pain. And I don't want that. Winter is his most powerful time, my child. So you must be in the greenhouse. It's for your safety."
"Why didn't you want to say this before?"
"Because now it's a problem. At 3000 years, you're technically at an age where you can get married. And knowing Zeus and Hera...unless you pledge to be a maiden for the rest of your life...you'll be..."
"Oh. Like...in their marriage list?"
"Yeah. Hoseok said that right?"
"Yeah."
"Mm...you should stop hanging out with him so much. Do you understand now?"
"I understand Jin. Thank you for telling me."
"I'm just worried for you."
"I know. But...it's just sad."
"Yeah. It seems like it. I'm sorry. I'll try to be better."
"It's too late to be better." Jimin sat up. "I already want to be elsewhere. This garden is all I've seen for 3000 years. I want to explore."
"One day my child. One day you will."
"Yeah. One day I will." Jimin stood up and looked down at Jin. "And I think that'll be sooner than you think." He walked off towards the greenhouse, growing vines and flowers around the outside except for the top to leave a skylight. He entered before covering the entrance too.
He slept for the rest of the day, waking up at night to the sound of pecks against the skylight. "Oh, my little crow." Jimin opened it with vines, closing it right after.
"The place is completely covered. Did you get upset?"
"My mother finally told me why I'm in here. Apparently I'm destined to love Hades and I reincarnated from a broken heart. Wild, huh."
"Not as wild as it seems." The crow tilted its head. "My name is Jungkook."
"Oh! I love it...it's so cute."
"I'm...not cute..." Jungkook scrunched his little crow beak a tiny bit.
"You most definitely are."
"Well, I'm certain I'm not. Cause no one else has ever said that to me."
"Well, it's true."
Jungkook stayed quiet for a while before speaking. "Do you want to know why...you reincarnated?"
"Yes! I do."
"Because Hades was a coward and let you go instead of making you his. So you came to the thought that he didn't love you at all."
"Did he though?"
"More than anything. So much, that when he learned that you were dead, he died from heartbreak too. Do you remember how painful heartbreak feels like?"
"No...I forgot my last life completely."
"Ah, well...it hurts. It hurts so much, and it's just hot and cold and hot, and painful. And I never want you to feel that way again."
"Jungkook?" Jimin felt confused by the crows look.
"Jimin...my dear, dear Persephone...I missed you. I missed you dearly."
"Y-you're?..."
"I'm Hades, yes. King of the underworld. Blah blah blah. I only know that I love you, and that's what should matter."
"I-I...you're..." Jimin felt his head go around every con there was to this, along with every pro. "You love me? You barely know me."
"In all past life's...it's been you. I just...ran away from your love because I was scared you wouldn't love me back. But I realize now that being alone is worse than being afraid. I...I should've changed into my form instead of saying all of this as a crow." The crow looked down in embarrassment.
Jimin smiled softly. "Adorable."
"I'm...not adorable..." he looked up and Jimin gulped.
"Are...you going to shift?" Jimin felt confused.
"I realize now that I won't have clothes. My natural form is...well, yeah."
"I could make you some as soon as you shift? My clothes are nice cloth, but I could get you some soft leaves I guess...or." Jimin pointed to a small dresser. "I keep some other clothes in here for when it gets cold, but they might be small."
"They'll do. If I use too much magic I'm sure your mother will notice. He's smart." The crow hopped a bit closer, Jimin standing up before letting Jungkook hop onto his hand. He carried him to the dresser, and started rummaging through it.
"I'm...well, I'm just a small goddess, so my clothes are...I don't know what size I'm looking for."
"No robes?"
"I have some I guess...they aren't exactly comfortable...?"
"I don't care. Just whatever might fit."
"Okay." Jimin pulled out a purple robe. "Hopefully it'll fit?"
"It'll do." The crow flew down on the grass. "Do you wish to see or no?"
"Ahaha, no." Jimin blushed and looked away. "I'll give you privacy."
"Suit yourself."
Jimin heard small sounds, like feathers fluttering, before hearing bones hit the ground softly. He could hear the robe being put on.
"Alright my dear, I'm dressed. Ah...you're so beautiful. It's been too long."
Jimin turned around to see Jungkook. Tall, muscular, long, dark hair, and a kind smile on his face. He was simply lovely. "Oh."
"Ah, you mustn't remember me, do you..."
Jimin looked down, seeing the bird. "Oh! He...he's dead."
"He's home now." Jungkook bent down and put his hand over the remains. The feathers and bones were gone. "I only ever use dying animals, so they can get one more use of being alive. One more adventure they'll remember." Jungkook smiled softly.
"You're kind." Jimin bent down as well, growing new flowers where the crow had been.
"Have you heard I wasn't?"
"I have." Jimin looked up at him, Jungkook looking right back at him. Jimin ran his hand through Jungkook's hair. "Woah."
Jungkook smiled. "Soft?"
"Yeah. Oh! I'm sorry for touching again without asking. I'm just so used to it." Jimin spoke quickly, standing up with an apologetic smile.
Jungkook stood as well. "It's okay. It's cute. Do you want to lay down?"
"Yeah, I do." Jimin smiled and then walked to the bed, Jimin getting under the covers, inviting Jungkook in.
"You don't mind me in the same bed?"
"Of course not. What makes it different from when you were a snake?"
"I'm flesh now? More real. I'm still cold though, sorry about that." Jungkook sat on the bed, Jimin putting the covers over him.
"Oh don't worry. I create warmth." Jimin cuddled up to Jungkook. Jungkook held him close, playing with his hair.
"How adorable..."
"Will you have to leave in the morning again?"
"It is early morning." Jungkook spoke softly.
"Oh." Jimin looked up at him. "What are we?" He asked with a smile. Curiosity.
"Well...I'd love to marry you."
"Marry? That's...wild."
"Only a little. I've loved you for a long time."
"Is...is where you live more homely than this?"
"Not very. But we could make it homely. I wouldn't have to hide."
"Oh! We could learn more about each other right?"
"Of course. And we'd have a house all to ourselves, you could have as many gardens as you want, we could do whatever you want, we could explore and create, and be powerful but kind. Also, I have dogs."
"Dogs?!" Jimin sat up excitedly, propping himself up on Jungkook's legs.
Jungkook laughed and moved himself up again, and Jimin could feel his leg muscles. Jimin blushed from both his laugh, and muscles. "Yes, dogs. They're quite cute."
"You're promising things, but...I wanna learn more about you. I've been thinking of you ever since last year." Jimin watched Jungkook's mouth twitch upwards.
"Y-yeah?"
"Yeah. So tell me about yourself." Jimin carefully raised his hands up Jungkook's thighs.
"Hahaha." Jungkook moves Jimin's hands. "I-u-um...what do you wanna know?"
Jimin pouted from his hands being moved. "I dunno. I don't know much about you, but you crossed my mind every day. You got me through the winter."
"Well, I want go be able to help you through every winter." Jungkook smiled softly.
"You're so kind. I want to repay you."
"And why do you think you need to? I just want to make you happy."
Jimin looked at Jungkook's face intensely. "Can I kiss you?"
Jungkook choked. "What?"
"Yeah. I wanna make you warm." Jimin smiled. "Can I?"
"Oh-I-um- are- I though you wanted to know me first before we tried anything-" Jungkook sputtered.
"Well, I feel like I already know you. Though I don't know you, I know you." Jimin pointed to his chest. "I think there's a connection we have. Cause I already feel like I need to be with you."
"I-oh...I feel that too." Jungkook relaxed a little.
Jimin smiled and swung one of his legs over Jungkook's thighs. "There we go. Now I can kiss you better."
Jungkook kept the blankets over Jimin, before carefully moving his hands to his waist. "O-okay...you really want this?"
"I do. I wanna know what you feel like." Jimin leaned into him and kissed his lips. Jungkook kissed back, holding him close. Jimin smiled, kissing him a little harder before their lips fit together, one in between the other. Jungkook took his lower lip, their movement slow, and back and forth.
Jimin felt Jungkook melt. He kept his hands on Jungkook's chest, feeling him warm up. Jimin loved the feeling, he felt warm too. He carefully let the kiss go.
Jungkook opened his eyes again. "Ah...the room seems a bit more..."
"Oh. Oops. It happens sometimes when I've too much of one emotion." Jimin saw the room was overgrown with flowers. He looked back at Jungkook and saw his robe was messed up, showing some of his chest. "Ah." Jimin looked down in embarrassment.
Jungkook laughed quietly. "What's so embarrassing?"
"You're just really attractive."
"Well, so are you but you don't see me blushing like I've never seen you before."
"Well...I've only seen you as a snake and crow. Did you look like this in your last reincarnation?"
"No, I didn't. You're absolutely right." Jungkook thought about it. "I think I've only reincarnated twice."
"I think...only once for me? But I'm not sure. Why did you reincarnate?" Jimin laid on his chest.
"Well, the first time was because of stress. I overworked myself half to death with work because I wanted to prove I was good enough to my siblings. But they didn't care anyways, and the heartbreak hurt me enough for me to need to reincarnate. And in my second life, I met you."
"I don't remember...I'm sorry."
"We had a young love. A kind of wild, reckless love. But when I needed to leave back to the Underworld...I didn't ask you to come with me. You ran home to your mother and...you reincarnated in the spring. I felt your death, and reincarnated as well. And now, here we are."
"Wild and reckless huh..."
"You were quite a problematic little girl when we met."
"Oh? I was female?"
"You presented female, but really, you were both. Some days you were male, and some days you were more female."
"Oh. Well, I present as male now. I think."
"I'll respect your pronouns."
"But I do like wearing feminine clothes."
"Understandable." Jungkook smiled.
Jimin looked up at him. "I wanna kiss you again."
"By all means, go ahead. I won't stop you."
Jimin smiled and kissed him again. He was trying to think of something...why he was so attached to him already...this was fate of course, but what brought the little snake and crow back here? What was it like...why was he so...
"A string!" Jimin pulled away and smiled more.
"A string?"
"Yeah! It's like a string. That brought you here. It's like a string. Or a ribbon."
"Oh, yeah I guess it is. It is fate."
"Mmm...I want to learn all about you." Jimin rested on him. "But for now...can we sleep?"
"You're tired? Of course we can sleep." Jungkook smiled.
"Will you sleep too?"
"I don't exactly sleep. But I'll stay here all night."
"And morning?"
"I'll...see if I can. That depends on your mother."
"Why do you two have a bad relationship?"
"Well...cause I broke your heart before..."
"This is a new life though?"
"Yeah. Demeter tends to hold a grudge. Ah, I shouldn't have said his name." Jungkook t'sked to himself.
"It's okay. He sleeps."
"While you work? Mm." Jungkook sighed heavily.
"Yeah."
"Are you okay with that?"
"I understand why it happens. He's weak and I'm strong." Jimin sighed quietly. "I'm very strong."
"I dunno, you look pretty weak to me." Jungkook chirped, a grin on his face. Jimin jumped up, glaring at him.
"I'm not weak."
"I know. You're just cute." Jimin melted at the sight of Jungkook smiling. "Aww~ is my Jiminie soft for me?" Jungkook tilted his head with adornment.
"Shut up." Jimin hid his face, cuddling into Jungkook more. "I'm going to sleep."
"Okay my love. Sleep well." Jungkook played with Jimin's hair until he fell asleep.
____
Jimin squirmed in his sleep, the sound of heavy breathing filling the room. Jungkook looked at him in concern, unsure if he should wake him or not.
____
"Jungkook, let me kiss you." Jimin let his hands roam over Jungkook's body, missing the touch so badly.
"Of course my sweet. Do whatever pleases you." Jungkook moved Jimin into his lap and kissed him graciously, Jimin letting him explore his mouth. Jimin brought Jungkook's hands down to his thighs, Jungkook understanding the gesture. He squeezed before rubbing at them, Jimin's robes moving out of the way.
"Jungkook..."
"Whatever you want Jimin."
Those words felt so familiar to Jimin.
____
Jungkook watched Jimin, still unsure as to wake him up or not. He probably should. This is a nightmare, isn't it? Yet...it didn't feel like fear. And Jungkook knew what fear felt like, from every soul that had begged him for life or another change or this, or that. He knew what fear felt like.
And it was not this.
What was this? He should wake him.
Jungkook shook Jimin lightly, hand on his shoulder. He didn't want to scare him.
"Hnnn." Jimin whined, turning over for the millionth time.
"Jimin, wake up. Are you okay?" Jungkook shook him again, slightly more this time. He checked his forehead. He wasn't sick. "Jimin, come on."
____
"Whatever I want?"
"Always. Whatever you want you will get."
"I want you." Jimin glared, unsure why they weren't fucking this instant.
"Right now?"
"Fuck, yes."
"But baby, you've never done anything so dirty. I don't want to hurt you."
"Doesn't matter. It won't hurt." Jimin pleaded, whining with all his might to convince Jungkook. "Please."
"My love..." Jungkook stared at Jimin's lips, as they started to pout. "Don't beg...I'll give in."
"I'll get what I want?"
Jungkook exhaled, his face reddening. "You're always going to get what you want."
Those words. Those words were important.
____
"Jimin, seriously, wake up." Jungkook started to panic. Why was he moving so much? Why was he panting and starting to sweat? Jungkook removed the blanket and saw the problem. "Oh my...what a predicament. How heavy do you sleep?..." Jungkook laughed quietly, eyeing Jimin's boner. "My Princess...how crude." Jungkook slowly moved away from Jimin, getting off the bed to position himself better. He crawled over Jimin's lower half, moving his clothes out of the way.
____
Jimin felt his body overheat, his dick fully hard and hot. Jungkook wasn't even doing anything and he felt like magic. His lips kissed graciously on his skin, hands doing exactly what Jimin wanted them to. Cock exactly where he wanted it. Everything feeling absolutely amazing.
Everything felt so familiar.
____
Jungkook deep throated Jimin's cock, absolutely loving the way Jimin squirmed and exhaled. He kept going until he was certain the moan he heard couldn't have been sleep. He pulled off, licking up as he went to take a good look at Jimin.
He was panting, skin sweaty, clothes barely on him, face red. He was beautiful.
"Baby, you shouldn't have such dirty dreams. At least, you shouldn't keep them as dreams. I'm here to please you."
Jimin whimpered. "Continue...please..." Jimin kept his eyes closed, arm coming over to hide his face.
"I'm glad you finally woke up." Jungkook went right back on him, Jimin crying out.
"I- Jungkook, stop- stop I'm- I'm close-"
Jungkook continued.
"Jungkook I mean it-" Jimin moaned out as he came.
Jungkook went down on him, taking it in, pulling off and swallowing. He wiped his mouth before eyeing Jimin. "You're so beautiful."
"Ah!" Jimin sat up and covered himself up with his robe again. "I'm so sorry, I have no idea what came over me." He looked down in shame, cheeks red.
"There's no need to apologize. Did you feel good?" Jungkook moved closer, stroking Jimin's cheek.
Jimin nodded, still full of shame.
"Then what's there to feel bad about? Look, even the garden seems to have responded well." Jungkook gestured around them.
Jimin looked up to see green everywhere, flowers and all. No thorns. "G-good feelings make good energy..."
"Then maybe we should be making a lot of good energy." Jungkook grinned cheekily, Jimin bashfully turning his head.
"W-we..."
"Have a connection. Do you feel like we shouldn't?"
"I wanna laugh and learn more about you before we s-start fucking..."
"Well, at least you're thinking about fucking at all. Imagine you underneath me...damn." Jungkook shook his head in thought, Jimin becoming embarrassed all over again.
"Oh gods..."
"Nice thought huh? Oh! How about you riding me? That sounds nice too. God you're so pretty and powerful." Jungkook mused over his ideas.
"You're horny." Jimin spoke before wincing. He was no better.
"Yeah? Look at you. A dirty dream and you turned quite pathetic. I could imagine you all day and have control over my dick."
"That was completely your fault!"
"You were hard before I sucked you off." Jungkook shrugged, laying down next to Jimin.
"Mmm. You didn't have to." Jimin looked away from Jungkook.
"And you won't even give me a thank you. Wow." He dramatically sighed. "How rude."
"Mmmm...thank you Jungkook."
Jungkook laughed. "That wasn't too hard. The thank you I meant, cause your dick was pretty hard."
"Shut uuuuuupp, shut up." Jimin whined. "I'm already embarrassed enough, you don't have to rub it in."
"Come here my love. Let me kiss you."
"Nasty, you've got cum-"
"You won't kiss me?" Jungkook sounded defeated.
"I will, but don't sound so sad." Jimin scooted down so he could lay. He faced Jungkook, still incredibly red. "I'm still sorry."
"Don't apologize. I'm going to take care of you no matter what the situation." Jungkook gave him a quick kiss. "So don't apologize."
"It's just so embarrassing. My shitty body, jeez." Jimin sighed.
"It's not shitty. It's just remembering things. You know, we were very experimental. You're my first love, so I wanted to try everything with you."
"By what means do you mean experimental?"
"All means?" Jungkook laughed quietly.
"Oh." Jimin hid his face in more embarrassment.
"It's quite alright. I have a feeling you'll be remembering a lot of things now that I'm here. I am too."
"You're so...wistful."
"I'm just hoping you don't go away again."
"I don't think I will. I don't think I can."
"I'm glad." Jungkook spoke in almost a whisper. It was evident he was fearful. Of course he would be. He'd messed up pretty badly, and he didn't want that to happen again.
They stayed silent the rest of the night, Jimin drifting off to sleep eventually. Jungkook stayed awake, lost in thought.
____
Jimin woke up to the room completely covered in rose bushes.
"Mm?"
"Good morning my love. It seems you dreamed well."
"Do they have thorns?" Jimin rolled over, trying to get more comfortable.
"Your voice sounds beautiful." Jungkook hummed before answering his question. "I can't tell from here."
"Mmm."
"It's almost noon. You should eat, yes?"
"Oh...yeah." Jimin sat up and looked at the roses. They were thornless. "Hm."
"Something wrong?"
"They usually have thorns."
"Maybe you're not upset?"
"Maybe...I mean, I'm not upset, but maybe that's the reason." Jimin sighed.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook sounded concerned.
"Nothing. I'm just...well, there's not much to eat here, and I...I feel like I'm getting attached to you so quickly. I usually make thorns but there's none when I'm with you." Jimin turned back to Jungkook. "I think I'm just very overwhelmed."
"I can leave if you'd like. You know, to clear your mind."
"No." Jimin felt his head spin. "No, I want you here. Maybe it'll clear my head to have you here."
"I'm not sure. I tend to make things worse."
"N-no." Jimin held his head with his hands, shutting his eyes tight. "Ah, no, you don't make things worse."
"Are you okay?" Jungkook sat up and took Jimin's hands from his head, laying him down again, and giving his forehead a massage.
Jimin squeezes his eyes shut. Those words.
"I tend to make things worse. I should go."
"Don't leave me Hades! Please. Please don't go."
"I need to leave you so you can live without me."
"I can't live without you. Please, stay the night." Persephone pleaded, watching Hades stop walking away.
He turned his head slightly to Persephone. "If I stay...I'd never leave."
"No..." Persephone's voice was too quiet, as Hades left from her view.
"No! No, don't leave!" Jimin felt the pain in his head pound, his eyes watering. He sat up.
"Jimin, t-tell me how to help." Jungkook kept his voice calm.
"Don't leave me." Jimin wiped his eyes and quickly took Jungkook's hand. "Don't leave me again." Jimin looked at Jungkook with urgency.
"A-ah." Jungkook understood the situation. "I'm bringing back memories aren't I."
"I think so." Jimin bit his lip, holding back tears. "You hurt...you hurt yourself..." Jimin closed his eyes. "You hurt yourself when you walked away."
"I know..." Jungkook ran a hand through Jimin's hair. "I know I did. I thought that giving myself pain would mean you wouldn't have any, but I was wrong. We both know that."
Jimin shook his head. "Who let you be such an idiot?"
"I did."
"Don't be one this time."
"I'll try."
"You better do more than try."
"Sorry." Jungkook gave a little laugh. "I'll do more than try. I won't leave."
"Better not." Jimin looked up at him, Jungkook brushing Jimin's tears away.
"I won't. I promise."
"Good." Jimin rested his head on Jungkook chest.
____
"So your winter was really good?" Hoseok asked.
"It was." Jimin smiled. "It was very nice."
"Are you no longer...you know..." Hoseok looked Jimin up and down.
Jimin blushed. "A-ah, um...yeah. I lost it." Jimin ran a hand through his hair in embarrassment.
Hoseok gasped and covered his mouth. "How has your mother responded?!"
"I haven't...told...him...exactly?"
"Jimin! You can't just lose your virginity and not tell your mother." Hoseok stared at Jimin with horror.
Jimin whined at his expression. "I can't. You know how he would respond. I wasn't even going to, I just...really love him. It was my idea." Jimin looked at Hoseok with a pout.
"You..." he sighed. "You're right. He'd never forgive you."
"I'll tell him one day."
"Oh shit, the suns about to rise." Hoseok stood up. "Your mother might surprise you today. He went to our meeting last night." Hoseok gave him a wink.
"Oh?"
"Imagine...the palace." Hoseok smiled wide with a laugh before running off into the sun, one becoming the other.
"Oh! The palace!" Jimin smiled and laughed loudly.
"What's so amazing Jimin?" Jin walked up to Jimin, Jimin turning with a smile.
"Hoseok said you went to a meeting last night."
Jin laughed. "I did. What about it?" Jin smiled.
"I think...he said something about the palace?" Jimin bounced with anticipation.
"Well..." Jin frowned and looked down. "I'm sorry to say this."
Jimin's face dropped.
"But he's right." He looked at Jimin with a smile again. "There's a party in a week, and I'm going to let us go this time. This winter was the most flourishing one, but that's not why I'm letting us go. You've just really let me grow. You've been right this whole time. I'll be going, yes, but I won't require you to bring any nymphs."
"Oh yay!" Jimin felt his heart soar. "You really mean this? Really really?"
Jin nodded. "I really mean it. Wear nice robes, everyone will be."
"Amazing! I'm so exited!" Jimin twirled around in happiness. "Thank you so much."
"I thought it was about time. Hoseok agreed to take you home, since the party will most likely end right before his shift would start, so he could drop you off at home."
"O-oh. When will you leave? And who will be there?"
"Since it's spring, I'll have to leave earlier. Meet with some humans and such."
"So...what you're saying is that you're going to leave early and let me leave later?"
"That's what I'm saying."
"Thank you!" Jimin laughed loudly before spinning and falling on the ground. "Amazing! My first party!" Jimin sighed happily. "Who will be there?"
Jin sat on the ground next to him. "All of the olympians. And other smaller gods too."
"Okay." Jimin smiled. "Thank you."
"There is no need to thank me. I've been selfish and rude. I'm just trying to make up for some bad things I may have done. I don't want to be thanked or forgiven. I just want us to try and move on."
"I think with...some time...I'll be able to do that too."
Jin smiled at him before standing up. "Well, I have some meetings to attend soon, and I think you should work on a robe to wear." Jin smiled and walked away, leaving Jimin to think.
____
"And then he told me I had to make a robe! What should I wear Hoseokie~" Jimin had Hoseok over after the sun went down, the two looking over an empty sketchbook.
"I know how to write music, not draw. You should ask Hephaestus or Athena."
"You're the god of art!"
"I can't draw though."
Jimin pouted, resting his chin in his palm. "Jungkook could."
"Ask him."
"I can't. Jin sees all letters sent."
"I'll ask Hermes? You know Taehyung, right? I'll ask for you and deliver it."
"That actually sounds like a good plan. Maybe he'd have an idea of what I can do. It'll come before a week, yes?"
"Of course. Taehyung is the fastest. Plus putting in a good word, and he's all for romance to bloom, it'll be quick."
Jimin laughed. "Romance to bloom?"
"Oh, it's already bloomed honey. You guys fucked. And you remembered a lot from your past, right?"
"Yeah. Feelings are rough to experience again. Especially the more...sexual ones." Jimin laughed with embarrassment. "It was like doubling everything."
"Fun." Hoseok smiled. "That's always fun."
"You're something else." Jimin rolled his eyes.
The two wrote their letter together, before eventually, Hoseok had to leave to the sunrise. "I'll deliver it to him today, alright? And then I'll see when it can be delivered back."
"That sounds good Hoseok. Thank you so much. I'm really excited."
____
A large thud took Jungkook's attention.
"Hades!" Taehyung looked around to just see other workers. "Oh great. 'Sup Jungkook? How're you doing back in the underworld?"
"Just peachy. Lots of people die in the winter due to the cold, but I'm glad it takes them so long to cross the river styx. Gives me time to go out." Jungkook looked quite bored to Taehyung.
"Well, to lighten your day, you've got mail~" Taehyung happily went to Jungkook's throne and gave him the letter. "Written and given today. Ring me up when you need to. Persephone and Apollo will be waiting." Taehyung have a gleeful smile when Jungkook quickly took it.
"A letter from Jimin?"
"Oh~ I see. You know his name?"
"Word travels fast." Jungkook spoke quickly and evenly. It mustn't get out to Taehyung of their relationship. He opened the letter quickly, and read it just as quickly.
"Can I have a peak?" Taehyung held his hands behind his back and went on his tiptoes.
"No. Come back in a couple hours please. I'll give you some food or something to compensate. I know you have better things to do."
"Actually I don't, but I will always take free food." Taehyung laughed and turned to walk away.
"Thank you."
"Of course. See ya tonight." Taehyung waved a hand.
Jungkook immediately snapped for paper and ink, the materials being brought to him. He sketched away, trying to form a robe style that would fit Jimin well, but wouldn't seem like he made it. It had to be earthy, with rich, vibrant colors that Jungkook knew Jimin could make since he saw them. He knew a tighter fit was exactly what Jimin loved, showing off enough of his body to be looked at but still present male. It was slightly difficult to do, but as long as Jimin got the idea, then it would be fine.
"Sir...you have more meetings to attend."
"How important?"
"A new shipment just arrived."
"Really? Already?"
"Yes sir." His assistant spoke quietly.
"Fine, send them in one at a time." Jungkook waved his hand and put down his drawing. He'd only finished two of his four ideas. And if this took long, he wouldn't have time.
"Oh, great Hades! Please spare me!" The first spirit came in, Jungkook taking a good look at him.
"Penalties?" Jungkook looked at his assistant.
"He has killed multiple animals in his youth, been unfaithful to his wife-"
"Enough. Sentenced to level 3." He was moved onto one of 4 doors.
This continued until the boat was empty, and sent back for the next trip.
"Sir...you sent many less to Tartarus this time."
"They weren't horrible people. Only some were. I'm not cruel."
"They weren't all good."
"That's your judgment against mine." Jungkook went back to drawing, feeling a bit stressed out. He knew Taehyung would be back soon.
He finished three out of his four ideas before Taehyung came back.
"Done yet?"
"Almost. I need to write some words."
"Ooo, toughy. You know how to write, right?"
"Shut up. Reading in a different language and writing in my own language is different."
"Still funny."
Jungkook sighed and finished the letter, tying it with a ribbon. "There. Thank you Taehyung."
"Of course. And my meal?"
"It'll be sent to your house. A whole box of ingredients so that you can make something yourself. You know, so you're not stuck here."
"Yep yep. Thank you Jungkook. P-please rest tonight..." Taehyung added quietly, and Jungkook could hear the concern laced into his words.
"I'll try."
"Insomnia sucks."
"I know."
"I'm trying to help." Taehyung spoke quietly. "If you want, I can stay the night after I'm done with deliveries?"
"It's okay Taehyung. But please, you have a job to focus on. I'll be okay."
"I'll swing by tonight then."
"It's okay."
"You're right, it is okay." Taehyung smiled evilly.
"Taehyung...no." Jungkook couldn't help but smile a little.
"No worries, really! I want to hang out. I'll even let you talk about Jimin the whole night, I don't mind. But then you'll have to listen to me about Yoongi. Deal?"
Jungkook shook his head. "Deal."
"Good." Taehyung flew off, knowing where Hoseok would be at the moment. Hoseok waited near Jimin's house, by the cliff they always talked at.
"Oh beautiful, you're here. A letter back?"
"Yep. Kept tight with his own ribbon, oo."
"Jimin will love it. How...is he by the way..." Hoseok saw Taehyung face, the both of them showing concern.
"I feel that...if he's not with Jimin...he's going to deteriorate. His powers are weakening. And I fear that the Underworld will not kindly take that as an answer. If the others see the weakness...souls will try and escape."
"Fuck."
"He really does need him."
"I believe so too. Have you talked with the others?" Hoseok grimaced.
"Yes. A couple agree with us, while others don't. Obviously, Demeter dislikes the idea. But Namjoon and Yoongi are on our side at least."
"Of course. Love and Home. They're powerful. This'll work out."
"If you keep standing here with Jimin's letter then no it won't. Hurry along, before Jin hears us." Taehyung shooed him away before flying off on his own.
Hoseok exhaled and turned around...right into Jin.
"Oh fuck! What're you doing here, you fucking scared me Jin!" Hoseok jumped high before falling down, holding his chest. "Fuck."
"I heard my name, I thought you'd wanted to see me. Am I mistaken?" Jin had a plain smile, one that made Hoseok gulp.
"No, you're not mistaken." Hoseok got up, brushing off the wrinkles in his clothes. "Persephone must marry Hades. You know this."
"I don't accept or bless the marriage."
"Hera does."
"Her voice over mine doesn't matter. That isn't her son."
"Demeter, seriously? Jimin might be the only goddess who can save the Underworld."
"That shouldn't be his destiny. He could choose from a million things!"
"And he'll always choose Jungkook. Come on. Just, consider it a bit more."
"If I have to go through one more meeting about this, I will behead someone. Now leave."
"I'm going to see Jimin."
"Then speak nothing of this to him, and leave quickly."
"Fine." Hoseok pushed past Jin, walking to Jimin's room. He knocked cautiously, Jimin opening it quickly.
"Did it arrive!?" Jimin smiled happily, Hoseok giving a large, fake smile.
"Yep! Here it is! Keep it safe, keep it hidden. The ribbon is from-" Hoseok gave Jimin a look, so he didn't have to say Jungkook's name. "You know. Enjoy."
"You aren't staying?"
"I have some people I need to speak to. But I'll be back tomorrow night, as usual."
"Thank you so much Hoseok. You're an absolute blessing." Jimin gave him a hug before he left.
"Hoseok seemed off..." Jimin gave a sigh before smiling at the letter. He went to his desk and opened it, reading the kind words.
Dear Jimin,
I write quickly because of the messenger, but I do hope you like my ideas. I would love to see them on you, my knowledge let's me know that you'll look beautiful no matter what. I miss seeing you already.
Love,
Jungkook :)
"He's so sweet." Jimin smiled happily and looked at his sketches, admiring the detail and beautiful flowers. "Such talent..."
Jimin hummed as he looked over the designs and considered what he could make. Snowdrops. Those looked pretty. A winter themed robe...but with a flower that blooms in spring. Absolutely perfect. Jungkook was smarter than he let on.
He looked at the different designs. Tighter robes, looser robes, and oh- oh. That one. That one was beautiful. Jimin quickly got to work after seeing the robe, knowing it would most definitely fit him well. A knock on his door made him jump before hiding the letter and ribbon in his desk drawer.
"Jimin? You good in there? There's snowdrops all around your room."
"It's for the party!" Jimin yelled through his door, concerned he'd come inside.
"Oh, pretty! Goodnight Jimin."
"Goodnight Jin!" Jimin sighed in relief.
He worked on the robe all night.
____
"Taehyung...I don't want to go to this party. I know Jimin will be there, but so will his mother-"
"Oh! Get a load of this. Demeter won't be staying the whole time. So I'll just you know, give you a nice little call~"
"No. I...I wasn't invited...Taehyung." Jungkook saved this for last, knowing Taehyung wouldn't understand otherwise.
"What? That's absurd! Why didn't-"
"Zeus doesn't want me around and you know that."
"Jackson would never-"
"He would. We had a rough patch and you know it."
"Jinyoung would've put in a good-"
"Stop trying- please stop trying to make things better. Hera sent me a letter apologizing for his behavior. That he wasn't ready to see me yet and all that. You know. The whole shebang again."
"I don't remember getting a letter from Mark..." Taehyung frowned. "Do you have it?"
"Doesn't matter. I shouldn't go."
"We like you Jungkook. Your company and jokes. You make us smile and laugh. So stop being sad, jeez."
Jungkook laughed a little. "It doesn't work like that Taehyung."
"Fine. Let me make it work. I'm going to see what Mark and Jackson decided for real on your invitation."
"Tell them I decline." Jungkook hummed.
"What- no! You're going. If I have to bring Namjoon down here then I will."
"No- don't. He'll bring Yoongi and then I'll have to go." Jungkook pleaded.
"Great, you're going."
____
"It's so beautiful Hoseok! Look at all the flowers and colors!"
"Look at you!" Hoseok smiled as they walked through the large doors towards the party. There were nymphs and smaller gods around and about, but Hoseok was taking them straight to the other big gods. "Those robes are to die for. They're so beautiful and shape you really well."
"Thank you." Jimin smiled happily.
"You brought the ribbon huh." Hoseok gave him a look.
"I did. I'll wear it once Jin leaves."
"Fair. Be careful."
"I'll be fine." Jimin felt himself gulp once he entered the larger area. Hoseok immediately dragged him to meet his friends. Jimin felt only slightly worried.
"Namjoon! This is Jimin." Hoseok smiled happily.
"Oh, how quick! Hello Jimin, my name is Namjoon, or Aphrodite. I don't mind either name." He smiled softly and Jimin could instantly understand how he was the goddess of love. He could've easily fallen in love without even trying.
"I'm Persephone. O-or Jimin. Whichever is fine."
"Your robes are beautiful. Snowdrops? How lovely." Namjoon smiled even more beautifully, and Jimin blushed while looking away.
"T-thank you."
"I'll go find Yoongi, I'm sure he'll want to meet Jimin too." Hoseok smiled and left.
"Did you make it yourself?"
"I did." Jimin nodded, Namjoon giving a happy gasp.
"Really! How beautiful! That's a lot of talent there Jimin. I had someone else make my robes since I kept pricking myself." Namjoon frowned slightly, Jimin feeling himself become embarrassed once again. "Oh, I'm overwhelming you aren't I."
"N-no, you're just very handsome and kind."
"You as well."
"Your robes look very nice on you." Jimin gulped audibly.
"Your mother is here, no?"
"Somewhere. Jin let me go with Hoseok."
"Well...he won't like it much when he sees us with you." Namjoon had an interesting glint in his eyes when Jimin finally looked at him again.
"What do you mean by that?" Jimin gave a concerned look.
"I'm back! And here's Yoongi." Hoseok smiled widely.
"Hi, I'm Yoongi. Or Hestia. Whichever is fine."
"Oh! I've heard a lot about you." Jimin gave a small bow, not quite as flustered by Yoongi. "I'm Jimin, or Persephone. I don't mind either."
"I see that Namjoon has charmed you already."
"Oh did I?" Namjoon looked concerned. "I didn't mean to. I forgot I had that effect."
"You are the goddess of love, give yourself more confidence." Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"Hey, in my defense heartbreak is hard to get over."
"That's very true." Jimin agreed, and Namjoon gave him another concerned look.
"But no longer! Jimin, we're here to help you. Taehyung as well. You'll probably see him tonight. I don't know where he is though." Hoseok looked around.
"Help?"
"Yeah. We've been having meetings about you and Jungkook. Some oppose, but others know better than to get in the way of fate." Namjoon explained. "Mark and Jackson agree, so...if Hera and Zeus agree, then we've already got a lot of progress. It's just...Jin is a problem."
"Just seduce him." Yoongi quietly spoke.
"You know that won't work."
"It's worth an effort."
"Yeah right. He's way too pretty."
"I swear to god Namjoon." Yoongi rolled his eyes again. "Either way Jimin, just know you can always talk to us okay?"
"Thank you. I'll reach out if I can." Jimin smiled kindly.
For most of the night, Jimin hung out with the nymphs and smaller gods, fitting in better with them than the others. Hoseok made sure to check on him often, but mostly left him to be with the others. He laughed and drank with them, giving them flower crowns when they wanted, and getting small gifts back. He sat along a river with his small party of nymphs in front of the large doors, enjoying the talk.
It wasn't until people began whispering and turning their heads to new gods coming. Jimin spat his drink back into his glass upon seeing Jungkook with Taehyung. Jungkook looked shy, not making contact with any of the whisperers or calls. Taehyung seemed to drag him along, and smiled widely upon seeing Jimin.
"Jimin! The letter was safely given to you I see." Taehyung smiled, Jimin smiling right back.
"Yep! Amazing, talented artwork was shared with me." Jimin smiled and felt himself blush slightly as Jungkook looked up at him.
"T-thank you. It...suits you well." Jungkook took a glance at Jimin before looking down and pursing his lips.
"Well~" Taehyung chimed. "You can follow me or not Jungkook. Is Jin still here?"
Jimin's nymph friends nodded. "That he is. He's been speaking with Jackson a lot."
"I see...maybe I'll have a chat with him." Jungkook looked up again, a bit of determination on his face. "I'll see you later Jimin." He walked into the larger room, Taehyung running after him.
"Wait I don't think that's!..." was all Jimin could hear from Taehyung. He went back to his conversation, the topic quickly changing to Jimin and Jungkook. Jimin got a different glass to drink from.
"So you've met before? And send letters to each other?" They gushed over them, Jimin becoming embarrassed.
Yelling from within the large doors disrupted the conversations, everything becoming quiet.
"It's only right!" Jackson raised his voice, Jin raising it right back.
"That's not for you to decide!"
"It's his fate. Don't get in the way Jin!"
"You don't get to tell me what to do! Or how I raise my child!"
"Jin please-" Mark tried to calm him down, but was met with a wild glare from Jin. Jimin slowly got up and went to get a better view, the other nymphs going alongside him.
"He doesn't deserve a second chance. Look at him! He's weak." Jin glared at Jungkook, who glared right back.
"You have no room to speak, Demeter. Using Jimin every winter for your own desires!" Jungkook yelled back. Jimin didn't know he could raise his voice.
"Guys please! This is supposed to be a party. At least discuss it in another room." Hoseok tried desperately to give a compromise.
"It's his fault for provoking me. Who's going to be able to handle the Underworld when he's gone I wonder? Since he can't handle the pressure."
"That's low."
"I'm on your level."
"Jin. I've been trying so hard. So hard. To be kind and understanding, but I can't do that anymore. I've changed, he's changed. We're different people from our last reincarnations." Jungkook spoke lowly, Jimin barely able to hear him.
"And yet you're still so childish." Jin snapped at him.
"That's it!" Jungkook lunged at Jin, who gave a high scream. Jackson and Mark tried to pry Jin away, while Hoseok and Taehyung tried to pry Jungkook away. When they finally got Jungkook off, holding him back, Jin got up with angry eyes.
"This is exactly what I mean! Childish!"
"Don't!" Jungkook spat. "You hit right back!"
"It's self defense. I'm not weak like you."
"Do not call me weak!" Jungkook tried to get out of their grip, his eyes glowing with rage. "I'm stronger than you'll ever be."
"I beg to differ."
"Than beg." Jungkook glared, Jin giving a look of disbelief.
"Really? Are you really-"
Jackson finally lost his patience. "Will you both shut your goddamn mouths! This is ridiculous! The next room." He demanded this, Jungkook and Jin begrudgingly being led to a different room.
Jimin and the nymphs all looked at each other.
"He's your boyfriend?"
"Fiancé actually." Jimin watched them go. He saw the crowd of gods and nymphs go back to chatting, either ignoring it or used to that kind of commotion.
Namjoon came over to him, the nymphs all smiling and becoming shy.
"Jimin...that was quite sad to see. How are you?"
"I-I'm good." Jimin felt his cheeks become hot.
"I hope so. I've never seen Jungkook initiate a fight before."
"Is what Jin said true?" Jimin gave Namjoon a concerned look.
"About?" Namjoon gave a nervous smile.
"About Jungkook not being able to run the Underworld."
"O-oh, that." Namjoon laughed nervously. "It's not a big deal."
"It seems like it is one. He was strong in winter, but if summer is when he's weakest, I can't imagine what it looks like if he's already like this. I'm strong. Do you think I can help?" Jimin looked up at Namjoon with wide eyes.
"I do Jimin. We think that you'll help restore his older, hidden powers. I think they're deep in his memory, probably hidden from trauma. A reincarnation from a broken heart would definitely be a good reason for that. I've been studying him with Hoseok often, and Yoongi has been helping us as well. I know-" Namjoon kept speaking, Jimin getting lost.
"Woah there Namjoon. You're speaking very fast."
"Oh, I'm sorry. It's just...quite fascinating." He smiled and looked away, and Jimin couldn't understand how he couldn't love himself. "Jungkook's brain is so different. I wish I could somehow make him and Jin understand their own loves for you." He turned to Jimin again. "They both love you so much."
"I love them both as well. Jin was being so much more normal after the winter."
"I think this might be a minor set back."
"I think so too. I don't want to go home." Jimin latched onto Namjoon arm, eyes pleading.
Namjoon gave him a kind smile. "I can't keep you. Jin refuses to enter my home, and would possibly break my house just to get to you. Maybe have Hoseok steal you."
"No, Jin argues with him too much. Jin argues too much."
"He does. But when he's calm, he's beautiful. Glowing, really. I can't wait for you to see that on the daily."
Jimin released Namjoon's arm. "What's your relationship with him?"
"Oh, nothing serious." Namjoon gave a much sadder smile. "Jin said he doesn't have time to love anyone other than you."
Jimin felt his chest hurt. "Namjoon..."
"It's okay."
"You...you're love though! You are love...but you're hurting. That doesn't seem right to me." Jimin took Namjoon's hands in his own. "How can I help you?"
"I don't think you can." Namjoon felt a flower grow in his hair, a small rose. "Jimin, I mean it."
"I wish I could help."
"Hey, I know how heartache feels. I study it for a living. I get prayed to for it. I help others ease out of it." Jimin let go of his hands.
"But who helps you?"
"Hoseok is my therapist."
"He seems to be all of ours huh."
"Yeah. I guess so."
Jin bursted out of the door, walking straight to Jimin and Namjoon. He gave Namjoon a look up and down before grabbing Jimin's wrist and walking away with him.
"It was nice meeting you Namjoon!" Jimin waved goodbye with a smile, used to this.
"Jin you!-" Hoseok came running toward them, stopping once Jin turned and gave a wicked glare.
"Another time Hoseok."
____
Jimin sat on his bed while Jin sat on the floor.
Jimin pouted, his chin resting on his hand. "You broke your promise Jin."
"There was an urgent problem. My apologies." Jin sighed heavily as the two sat in their large house. "I over reacted so badly...I'm sorry. I promise you'll be able to all the parties your heart desires. I just...he infuriated me. He came up to me while I was just having a nice chat with Jackson about the upcoming flower decorations for his palace, and Jungkook came up and told me he's going to marry you."
"Well...he will." Jimin spoke softly, giving Jin a sideways look. "He asked me to marry him and I said yes."
"When?" Jin look at him with sadness.
"T-tonight. I saw him before he went to see you." Jimin lied.
"Why do you love him Jimin? I can't fathom the idea. I know what love feels like, but I just can't seem to understand yours."
"He's kind, and generous. He puts me first, and he listens to me very well. He lets me speak and tries to understand me well. We can joke, and laugh, but be serious if needed. He's got a kind soul."
"How do you know so much about him?"
"We've...been lettering." Jimin looked out the window.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I haven't been able to be someone you've been able to talk to and you've had to hide things from me. I want to be better. But it's like, whenever I try, I get set back in place by something so little."
"Jin...being with Jungkook...it's not like you'll lose me. I'll still come back and visit. I'll still come and make bread, and we're going to have picnics and eat well and one day we'll be able to go to all the parties together and be happy. But you have to let me be happy with Jungkook too."
Jin took a deep breath. "I'm the bad guy in this story. I don't want you to be hurt again."
"I won't be hurt. He knows better now. He learned."
"I know. But some things never change."
"But anything can change with practice. Like loving."
"I won't love Jungkook."
"You don't have to. You just need to accept him as my lover. And maybe get one for yourself."
"My time to have a lover is far gone."
"Didn't seem like it to me."
"Jimin, seriously. I'm not stable enough to be in a relationship."
"Then finds someone who makes you stable. Easy. Oh, and look at that, I've already found someone for you." Jimin smiled and looked at Jin.
"Jimin-"
"Namjoon seemed awfully in love with you."
"No he's not." Jin scoffed. "He's too smart to find me attractive."
"Jin! Are you calling yourself ugly?" Jimin gasped dramatically.
"What?! No! I'm handsome! I'm saying my inside isn't beautiful. A pretty face and a sour inside just makes me a bitch."
"You're not a bitch."
"I am. I know I am. I've just been rude to everyone. Including you! That's so messed up." Jin shook his head. "It's so messed up."
"Maybe you should...get a therapist? You know we all have one."
"I'm okay."
"Everyone should have a therapist. Even if you're okay."
"There's no need to be so real Jimin." Jin gave him a playful glare. "I don't want to put trauma on someone else."
Jimin opened his mouth then closed it. None of the other gods really understood the loss of a child. "Well...you can always talk to me."
"I know, but you're too nice. I need someone who will talk me down instead of letting me be stubborn and hide it."
"Ah, you're right. I can't do that. Maybe Yoongi? He seemed straight forward."
"He's also too kind."
"Taehyung? I know Hoseok is too kind."
"Maybe Taehyung." Jin sighed heavily. "I'm still so sorry. I'll make sure you have fun next time."
"Well, Namjoon told me you're fun to be with. Lovely, even."
"That was a long time ago. It's different now."
"But happiness isn't seasonal."
"I beg to differ."
Jimin smiled before giggling. "Then beg."
"Jimin I swear to the gods." Jin looked at him with embarrassment. "I didn't expect him to say that."
"You upset him."
"He's weak. How is he supposed to take care of you?"
"I'll make him stronger."
"He'll make you weaker, is what I'm afraid of."
"I don't think that will happen. I have faith in him."
"I don't. I gave him my blessing last time. But he's speeding up this process. I think he wants to use you to power himself. I know that the Underworld is rough, but he's acting against me."
"Jin...he loves me. I don't think he's trying to use me at all."
"I'm wary."
"I know. But I mean what I say. Love is good."
"Yeah, it is."
____
"Care to tell me what the fuck that was today?" Hoseok's face was blank as he stared at Jungkook, who sat across from him.
Mark and Jackson were discussing things with Namjoon and Yoongi, while Taehyung was sorting letters.
"I went to tell him that I proposed to Jimin, and he started yelling at me." Jungkook pouted and looked down.
"You did what?" Hoseok gulped audibly in shock. The others quieted down and listened to them.
"Yeah. I want our marriage to happen as quickly as possible. The longer I'm away from him the quicker I can feel myself deteriorate. The Underworld is suffering." Jungkook raised his head but lowered it again after seeing Jackson's angry glare.
"And you didn't mean to tell any of us this?" Jungkook could hear Zeus instead of Jackson, knowing he was upset. "You're meant to be able to handle to worst. I trust you do to that with all of our lives. I have here handled, Poseidon has the ocean, and you have the Underworld to make peace. When did you plan on telling us?" He walked closer to Jungkook, but Mark stopped him.
"Don't. He's lovesick Jackson."
"I can corroborate that." Namjoon smiled a little. "I think the wedding needs to happen as soon as possible."
"We know Namjoon." Mark sighed heavily. "And as much as I agree, Jin...has to bless the wedding."
Jungkook gloomily closed his eyes. "I didn't mean to start a fight. He hit a really bad nerve."
"We could tell." Taehyung grunted, putting the letters into his messenger bag. "If none of you have anything to send to Jin or Jimin, I'll be going now."
"You're good. I'll speak with them tomorrow." Mark waved his hand as if to shoo Taehyung. "Namjoon, you'll go with me right?"
"Of course."
"What will you say?" Jungkook looked up with wide eyes. The only bit of hope Namjoon had seen in them in a long time.
"We'll discuss the marriage. As love at first, and if that doesn't get through to him, then as business." Mark sighed heavily. "I hope it doesn't get to that."
"It might."
"I know. But I'm prepared for that."
"Jungkook..." Yoongi spoke softly. "You should head home. The air there is becoming foreign."
"Oh gods, okay." Jungkook stood. "I apologize again. About everything. Thank you for having me."
____
Jimin woke to the sound of Jin greeting people inside. He sleepily got up, before seeing a letter on his opened windowsill. He read it quickly, understanding what was happening. Jin at least liked him to be updated.
"So they're discussing the marriage..." Jimin put his ear to the door to listen in.
Jin must've set up their meeting by Jimin's door on purpose.
"Yes, I understand. But you have to understand how I feel. I don't care that he's being weakened. What I care about is that he'll be able to love Jimin for eternity. In these past hundred years, he's been childish, unhelpful, and has purposely challenged me. I don't see why I should bless the marriage."
"Jin...you make a very good point. We've been more than convinced of Jungkook's intentions though." Mark spoke softly. "We could feel the love he spoke of before we came to talk to you."
"I promise it on my name that I felt it. His heartbreak was worse than I've ever felt, worse than Jimin's, worse than yours. I promise he means well." Namjoon spoke just as softly.
Jimin swore he knew what Jin's face looked like.
"You swear it on your name?"
"I do. And if it doesn't turn out how you hope, then it'll be my head, not his."
"Oh Namjoon..." Jin shook his head. "I trust you. But!"
Jimin could hear Mark clearing his throat, clearing getting ready to cheer. "Yes?"
"I need to hear if from him as well. As much as I trust you two, I need to trust him too. He has to be able to handle my snark, sass, and humor. He has to apologize to me."
"I see. That shouldn't be too much of a problem. We'll speak with him and be back as soon as we can be." Mark stood and bowed, before leaving the house.
"Thank you Jin for understanding." Namjoon spoke quietly, Jimin pressing his ear to the door even more.
"Yeah. It's still a tough subject, but a sore heart is better than a broken one."
"Yeah." Namjoon spoke as quietly as Jimin could hear.
"I'm sorry. Another day, perhaps you can stay over for tea and some homemade bread, but at the moment, too much hurts. You're just as beautiful as always, but somehow you can't heal yourself."
"Well, I see you almost daily. It's hard to heal that way."
"Joonie..." Jin sighed heavily. "I told Jimin last night, and I'll tell you this now. A pretty face with a bad personality just makes me a bitch."
"You don't have a bad personality! You're really kind and you're thoughtful and you care. You care so much about the people you love. And so many people love you."
Jin laughed. "I can name one, and I don't deserve his love. Jimin's just very kind."
"Jin!" Namjoon sounded exasperated. "I love you!"
Jimin gasped quietly, surprised he heard a confession.
"Joonie...you...you know why I can't..."
"I know. But don't forget that. Now, I have to go. Jungkook asked me to be there with him to corroborate his statement."
"Okay." Jin spoke quietly. "Another time, then."
"Yeah. Another time." Jimin heard Namjoon leave, and Jimin immediately came out of the room.
"Jin..." He gave him a hug and fought the urge to cry.
"I'm okay."
"You'll accept the marriage?"
"If it makes you happy, then of course." Jin pet Jimin's hair.
"And you'll be happy too?"
"We'll see."
____
"Jungkook...it's just an apology..."
"He disrespected me!"
"Do you want to marry him or not?! Apologize to him, and marry Jimin! Why are you being so picky about this, he's willing to bless the marriage!"
"And save your life. Accept it Jungkook."
"But he's so...mean..." Jungkook pouted.
"Oh, like you aren't used to that." Mark rolled his eyes. "Come on."
"Yeah, I bet you two were kind in asking Jin! Yet here you are being mean to me." Jungkook pouted more.
"You're right, but he's sensitive!"
"So am I! I'll apologize only if he does too. I promise I'll apologize first, but if he doesn't also apologize that's making me less than him and I can't live with that."
Namjoon sighed. "Fine. That's only fair."
"Good. I'm glad we can agree."
Mark and Namjoon looked at each other. "We'll send Yoongi and Hoseok."
"Agreed."
____
"So he wants me to apologize as well..." Jin mused. "Jimin honey, when do you want this wedding?"
Jimin read his book, sipping his tea. "As soon as possible."
"Mmm~" Jin kneaded the bread he was making. "Fine. I'll agree to that. How power hungry."
"Jin, he's only being fair." Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Jimin, please, he wants to be equal to me but I promise you, I'm better looking."
Hoseok and Yoongi laughed before quieting themselves. "We all know that."
"Good. You better. Now if you two need to leave, then do it, otherwise I'm keeping you for a couple hours to try my bread."
"Oh gods, we'd love to stay, but another time. Gotta report back."
"Well, I'm sure there will be left overs."
"Thanks Jin. We'll check back up when we have a date to set up and stuff." The two left, hurriedly getting back to Mount Olympus.
"Jimin...have you thought about your wedding clothes?"
"Oh shit." Jimin put his book down. "No!"
____
"Oh thank the gods he agreed. Nothing else?" Jackson exhaled heavily. Godly affairs were not fun.
"He wanted us to have bread but we couldn't." Hoseok frowned. "And if you make me late for my shift I'm going to be upset. My stallions are pretty bad at following the course I go without me."
"Don't worry, it won't take long. Hestia, how long do we have to make a wedding happen in the palace?"
"Mmm..." Yoongi thought about it. "The Underworld has about...three days until it crumbles. It's no longer Jungkook's home, and the sprits can feel that."
"Three? Then that apology and blessing need to happen tomorrow, and the wedding the day after that. I'm not having any last minute bullshit, understood?" Jackson looked at all the gods, who all nodded. "Let's clean up the front entrance and polish and set up our meeting room as the wedding room. It's big, it's bright, and Jin can help decorate the flowers."
"Understood." Namjoon spoke for them all.
"Hoseok, you're excused, Yoongi and Namjoon, can you talk to Jin and Jungkook about the details? The rest of you, get to work on the wedding prep!"
____
Yoongi grumbled. "I've been getting dragged around everywhere."
"At least you weren't rejected again."
"Hoseok has no idea about me."
"You've also got no idea." Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Anyways, I'm going to wait outside. I'm not feeling too high and mighty."
"Suit yourself." Yoongi went inside Jin's house.
"Oh! You came back for bread? Here, have a slice." Jin already had a slice ready for him, Yoongi graciously eating it. "How is it?"
"It's so good...fuck." Yoongi swallowed and cleared his throat. "But I'm here about the wedding. You and Jungkook need to come to an agreement as to where to meet to apologize and for you to give your blessing. And then the next day the marriage will commence at Mount Olympus."
"Mount Olympus!" The two could hear Jimin's voice faintly as Jimin jumped up from his bed and went into the living room. "For real?!"
"You eavesdrop so often." Yoongi smiled.
"I learned it from Jin."
"Hush! There's no need to sell me out." Jin rolled his eyes playfully.
"But yeah, Namjoon and I are off to tell Jungkook as well."
"Oh...Namjoon is here?"
"He's outside."
"In my garden?"
"Yeah."
"Bring him some bread." Jin gave Yoongi another piece. "Tell Jungkook I'm fine with anywhere except for the Underworld. It's cold and dark down there."
"Scaredy-cat. I'll tell him." Yoongi smiled and left with the bread.
____
"So...anywhere but here...oh gods, but if I'm not here things get a little wild. And a day before...fuck..." Jungkook sighed heavily. "Fine. Just somewhere close to here so I can get back quickly."
Jungkook mumbled something else, but Yoongi shook his head. "It'll be okay. It'll be a short wedding, and the spirits will rest again."
"They're so uneasy...it's troubling."
"You're weak. I can understand their unrest."
"I'm not weak. But I am growing weaker. I'm still strong."
"Only when you're angry. But that doesn't seem to be an emotion for you."
"Not usually."
"We'll make sure it's quick and set up an easy time. When are they most at rest?"
"I'm not certain anymore. They seem to never rest." Jungkook looked at his assistant. "Any say in the matter?"
"They rest easier when you're here."
"Great. Jin will never accept the wedding being here. Or coming here at all."
"Right outside must be fine."
"Yes, but the stairway back is long and I might take too long."
"You can use some strength then, fly back." Namjoon winced as soon as he said it. "Or is that using too much."
"It's using too much. We'll just have to hope."
"I guess we will. We'll figure it out." Yoongi spoke carefully, Jungkook sighing heavily.
"If you're going to humiliate me then do it."
"We can fly you back."
"Ugh, how awful. I'll agree to it." Jungkook sighed again. "Why is it like this?"
"Um. You used a lot of your energy with Jimin in winter...and you didn't recharge."
"Ah." Jungkook pursed his lips.
____
"It's cold here too, fuck." Jin hugged himself, waiting for Jungkook to come from the entrance of the Underworld.
"It's not too cold." Taehyung tried to help Jin smile. "Besides, it'll be quick."
"It better be. Jimin's expecting this to go well."
"You didn't invite him."
"No. Jungkook wouldn't mean his apology with him here, he'd just look at him."
"That's fair."
"Oh shit, wait is Namjoon helping Jungkook?" Jin quickly looked at Taehyung, who shyly smiled.
"Yeah, he is."
"Fucking sh- hello." Jin gave a smile when he saw Jungkook come up the stairs, Namjoon and Yoongi in tail.
"Hello Jin. Let's make this quick, yes?" Jungkook gave a charming smile, and Jin could tell he really meant it. He could also tell that Namjoon and Yoongi were somewhat holding him up.
"Yes. You need to get back." Jin looked him up and down in concern. If the Underworld got out of control, this would be one of the first places they would come up, and it was too close for comfort.
"I do. Thank you for understanding." Jungkook took a big breath. "I apologize for my actions at the party, and I apologize for treating you so poorly. I know it was childish, and I was quite put off by your words, but I know I shouldn't have acted on my anger. Please accept my apology." Jungkook bowed as much as he could.
"I accept it. I also apologize for the words that could've possibly hurt you. I was also upset, and I acted off on it. Please accept my apology." Jin held his head high, but bowed.
"I do. Now please...do you bless the marriage? And will you be there for it?"
"I bless the marriage. And of course I will be there, what kind of question is that?" Jin scoffed, making Jungkook laugh.
"I was just making sure. Thank you." Jungkook smiled before turning to leave.
"You better be the best goddamn husband."
"No puns tomorrow Jin, Jimin will laugh and embarrass himself." Jungkook headed down the stairs again.
Taehyung turned to Jin with a surprised "hm," before shrugging. "That went better than expected."
"That it did."
____
"Shit. This is starting to get to me." Jungkook sat on his throne groggily, Namjoon and Yoongi looking at him with concern. "How am I supposed to get to the wedding like this? By the time I marry him I'll be on the ground passed out."
"I...would ask Jackson...to move it down here?..." Yoongi suggested quietly, knowing the idea was horrible.
"As much as I would love that, we all know that wouldn't work. Jin hates it down here."
"And so do most of the gods and goddesses."
"Thanks for rubbing it in Yoongi." Jungkook sighed. "I wish everyone was like you two. Kind, helpful, and accepting."
"They are those things too, just...also concerned. You know exactly why they are."
"Yeah, cause I'm a bad ruler. Look what I've allowed to happen. This unrest, this untrusting, this false king. I'm fake." Jungkook looked up at them with wide, sad eyes.
"No, you aren't. You're real, and you're good at what you do and you're compassionate and kind, but fair and honest. I don't know a better ruler than you. Jackson likes to joke around, but he believes in you too."
"I know..."
"He would listen, is what I'm trying to suggest." Namjoon spoke kindly.
"But Jin's comfort. I have to take that into consideration." Jungkook burrowed his eyebrows. "I have to."
"Maybe we can convince him." Yoongi tried to coax Jungkook, but in reality, they both looked at Namjoon.
"Hey, look, he isn't interested, so don't pressure me-"
"Namjoon! It's a great idea!" Jungkook looked up at him with hope.
"Oh don't you go giving me puppy eyes!" Namjoon raised his voice.
Yoongi also gave him puppy eyes, the two silent.
"Yoongi! Not you too!" Namjoon groaned. "Fine. Fine, I'll talk to him. But that means you have to talk to Jackson and the others. They're already setting up the wedding so it's going to be a hassle."
"I've got it, don't worry. I'll even get Hoseok and Taehyung to help me."
Namjoon grumbled as he left.
____
"Jimin...why don't you go out while for a little bit? Hoseok should be around about now, right?"
"No, he's busy. But I can still go out." Jimin saw Namjoon on their doorstep, waiting patiently for Jin's decisions.
"Thanks Jimin." He gave him a smile, one Jimin knew all too well. It meant "go right outside the window and listen in."
"No problem." He gave him a similar smile and went out passed Namjoon, giving him a hug on the way.
"Namjoon, come on in. How'd you like the bread from earlier?"
"It was good. You always make the best food. No matter what I do, I'll never be able to make your recipes taste as good as you make them." Namjoon smiled.
"...why are you really here? Is there anything else you need to report or should I assume you just want to enjoy my company?"
"I did come here to report something...but is there anything wrong with wanting to spend time with you?"
"Spit it out honey." Jin sipped his tea, Jimin hearing Namjoon die a little on the inside.
"Jungkook would like to kindly request...that the wedding be moved to the Underworld...for understandable reasons."
"Oh." Jin paused for a long time. He sent Jimin a white rose outside, Jimin understanding that the decision was on him. He sent a flower right back in Jin's tea, white as well. "I...guess that's not a problem." Jin said through grit teeth, Namjoon seeing the reluctance in his face.
"Are you positive?"
Jin sighed heavily. "Yes, I'm positive. It better be quick though. That place is cold and brings bad energy."
"Then thank you for your time." Namjoon smiled and stood, bowing, before starting to leave.
"Wait."
____
"You want me to what?!" Jackson yelled.
"Jackson, come on. It makes sense." Mark sighed heavily.
"We'd have to move the operation immediately. This is a serious thing."
"Then maybe take the extra day."
"No! That...a day before Armageddon is not a good idea!"
"Thanks for using your brain, but I think we can risk it with every god and goddess being there." Mark coaxed him, Yoongi smiling happily.
"Plus a lot of the decorating will become easier since it's darker there, so the little things can be overseen." Hoseok chimed in, Taehyung nodding.
"And his main floor is black marble, and large enough to seat everyone. I think it'll be perfect aesthetically. Jimin in white? On the black offset? It'll be good." Taehyung imagined it.
"Then everyone needs to get to work on this. Where's Namjoon? He should help too. Get Jin too- wait no, don't get Jin."
"Namjoon's with Jin sir."
"Ah. Then we'll continue without them."
____
"What...are you all doing here." Jungkook watched the gods and goddesses decorate his throne room, the pillars being decorated with flowers, the floor being cleaned, the corners being cleared.
"Just as you requested. Moving the wedding here." Jackson sighed as he watched Jungkook smile happily. "Fuck that. You're lucky you're charming."
"Thank you! Thank you so much!"
"Now let's hope we have Jin's blessing in this matter." Jackson mumbled.
____
"Yes Jin?" Namjoon turned around with cold eyes.
"I hope one day you can heal the damage I did. I regret it all. I should've never hurt you."
"...you regret it?" Namjoon spoke quietly.
"I regret being terrible to you. And I regret making you feel bad. And I regret dragging you through my life before I had my shit together. I still don't, but I'm getting better. And I'm sorry you love me."
"Jin...you were never a burden. You never made me feel bad. If anything I made you feel bad."
"No, you didn't. I was just too insecure to be with someone who was so good. I don't deserve you."
"Well..." Namjoon huffed angrily before taking a deep breath and letting it out. "Well then come back to me when you do deserve me. You're always invited over." Namjoon bowed again and left.
Jimin watched him go before going back inside. "That went much better I'd like to think."
"And now he's playing hard to get." Jin glared at the door in thought.
"Are you trying to say if he pressed you harder you would've given in?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe. I'm weak, you know."
"You're strong." Jimin smiled. "You're very strong. But he's right. He deserves good."
"God damn him. Trying to make me love myself and all that stuff he always says. Next time he gives me an inspiring speech I'm going to cry."
Jimin laughed hard with Jin that night, both ticking down the time till the wedding, prepping his robes.
____
When the day finally came, Jimin felt nerves shoot up his spine as soon as he woke up. The reality finally hit him. He was getting married. Yes, to the love of his life, but still, that was a big deal in some retrospect. Jin was supportive, and he could hear him rummaging around the house, probably baking or making Jimin something to eat. When he finally got out of bed, he checked the time and went to the kitchen. Jin was singing to his music, Jimin picking up some letters on their counter.
"Oh! Namjoon sent you a letter!" Jimin couldn't help but exclaim, making Jin jump.
"Jimin! Give me a warning!" Jin caught himself holding the counter to situate himself.
"Sorry." Jimin hummed his answer as he opened the letter, reading it.
"He asked me to be his date to the wedding and to wear pink."
"Awwww, soft love. I'm...wearing white..." Jimin spoke quietly, still getting over his shock.
"You stopped at just my letter. You got one too."
"Oo!" Jimin looked through the rest and saw one for him, from Jungkook.
Jimin,
Hopefully this finds you well. We won't be allowed to see each other before the wedding for superstitious reasons, but I await your appearance and desperately wait to be by your side forever. I won't be able to say it out loud as well as I can in writing, but I promise I'll be everything you need. I can't wait to have you by my side. I can't wait to give you all of me. I can't wait to see your smile.
On a side note, I've been forced into wearing white. Taehyung said it would look "good against the black interior" and Jackson agreed. :/
Love,
Jungkook :)
"His handwriting is atrocious." Jimin pouted. "But cute."
"He must be nervous. Look at the end, it's all shaky." Jin looked over his shoulder, reading it as well.
"Ah, that must be it. He's written before and usually it's neater."
Jin laughed. "How rude."
"You agreed!" Jimin laughed before losing his appetite. "Ah. I'm nervous too." Jimin held his stomach.
"Need something to eat or tea to ease your nerves?"
"Tea would be nice." Jimin sat on the counter, re-reading his letter from Jungkook. Jin started water.
"Are you ready to get ready? Your robes felt good last night?"
"Yeah. They felt good."
"What flower did you pick this time?"
"The phalaenopsis orchid."
"You could've just said orchid."
Jimin laughed. "I'm learning new words. Let me use them. Anyways...they bloom in the cold temperatures, and are used to give to loved one."
Jin nodded. "You've been studying."
"I've been busy." Jimin sighed as he took the tea Jin had made from him. He drank carefully. "Jin...do you think it'll all be okay?"
"It will be. Being there instead of Olympus is a good idea. For the sake of the Underworld. And with you as a ruler as well, peace will settle. You're quite ruthless."
"What? I'm kind."
"You're evil. Sneaky. Mischievous."
Jimin smiled. "Sure."
Jimin finished his tea quickly, feeling slightly warmer and better. "You ready?"
"Just about. You're doing my makeup, just so you know."
"Of course." Jin looked taken aback as they went to their rooms to change, yelling at each other through the house. "We're taking a chariot by the way!"
"Fancy!" Jimin changed into his new robes, white, with dark red orchids displayed on it. If it didn't scream winter he didn't know what did. And Jungkook in white as well? Beautiful. It was going to just fine.
____
It was not going to be just fine. Jimin was whisked away as soon as they got to the Underworld, Taehyung eagerly following Hoseok with Jimin.
"What's wrong?!" Jimin got dragged, picking up his robes so they wouldn't get dirty.
"Jungkook's not okay. Jackson is preparing the whole speech before the wedding happens but you're going to have to get married fast. No slow walk down the isle, nothing extra and fun, sorry. The marriage needs to happen as soon as possible, and you two can have another wedding another time when Jungkook's not dying."
"He's what?!" Jimin felt confused as Hoseok tried to explain, Taehyung helping him keep his robes clean.
"Jungkook's currently lying on his bed dying from the unrest in the undead. They're giving him...grief in a way."
"Wha-what? He's dying?!"
"Which is why the marriage needs to happen as quickly as possible. We're still waiting on some people, but once we get the okay we'll get right to it." Hoseok continues to try to explain.
"That's not helping!" Jimin fumed, Hoseok finally stopping dragging him once they got to a waiting room with a large door. "Tell me what's wrong. I need to understand the situation."
Taehyung set Jimin's robes on the ground gently before speaking. "Jimin...the spirits here are restless because they can sense Jungkook's growing weakness. The winter is when he's powerful, but he didn't spend it here. So when he came back, he was sick from whiplash. He used too much of his power with uh." Taehyung coughed before blushing. "With you."
"Oh." Jimin turned a rosy pink. "So why is the marriage going to help?"
"It'll be like...returning his power. He put a lot into you, and you'll be returning it basically. Ah, that...sounded wrong." Hoseok blushed as well, the three of them all embarrassed.
"Y-yeah okay." Jimin went to run a hand through his hair but stopped, knowing it was gelled.
Taehyung cleared his throat. "Well...you look lovely today Jimin. Jungkook's going to love it...when he's able to stand up."
"Oh gosh. He didn't tell me he was in such a bad condition." Jimin visibly worried. "He should've told me." Jimin shook his head, bitting his bottom lip with anxiety. "And you're positive he'll be okay after the wedding?"
"Might take him a couple days to recover fully, but yes. He'll be okay afterwards."
"Oh gosh I hope they don't think I'm weak too." Jimin fret, Hoseok laughing.
"Jimin! You're so strong, I don't know what you're going on about. It'll be alright. Everything will be. The wedding, you becoming a queen, ooo." Hoseok smiled at that. "That has a nice ring to it. Jimin, the Queen of the Underworld."
Jimin smiled. "It does, doesn't it?"
"Plus...Jungkook is stubborn when it comes to his performances. He'll act tough and strong and as soon as everyone leaves he'll be exhausted. He never wants to worry people."
"I know...but I'm worried."
"Well, you always worry correctly. But it'll be okay. He's getting help from Mark and some others." Taehyung pressed his ear to the door. "Mm...still speaking. Once he gives a cue we're going to open the doors and you're going to go straight to Jackson okay? Jungkook will...should...walk from the opposite side and you two will meet in the middle where Jackson is. Namjoon's going to propose the rings, say a small thing about love, Mark will bless the wedding and that's it."
"O-okay." Jimin took a deep breath and patted his robes down. Jungkook better be on the other side, ready for this moment. Jimin was going to look good, and he was going to be proud of it.
"Ah...alright Jimin. You ready?" Taehyung held one door handle while Hoseok held the other.
Jimin took a deep breath again and let it out. "I'm ready."
The two heard their cue and opened the door, Jimin seeing Jungkook's doors open as well. He smiled softly, the two walking towards each other and stopping in front of Jackson.
"Two gods connected by fate are bound to find each other again, no matter the terms." Namjoon stood beside Jackson, presenting the rings. Jungkook took one and put it on Jimin's ring finger, Jimin taking the other and putting it on Jungkook's.
"No matter the events in the past, the future is all to look forward too. To look to the past, means you're looking at where you came from. Regret is as big as fear, but both can be forgiven with love and time. Let this marriage be blessed by love." Namjoon smiled at the two.
"And let this marriage be blessed by me." Mark spoke, nodding. Hera had blessed the marriage.
Jackson smiled widely as he saw Jungkook start to sweat, covering his concern with unconvincing happiness. "Then by our words, we pronounce you King and Queen of the Underworld." He shook hands with Mark, as if to seal a deal, the room erupting with a shake of lightning.
Jungkook quickly kissed Jimin, the crowd applauded, but Jimin could feel the fear among them. This place was cold. But Jimin felt at place, really. He could feel it becoming warmer, and oh gods he could feel Jungkook start to collapse oh gods wait-
Jungkook broke away from the kiss and leaned against Jimin before steadying himself. He gave an embarrassed smile to the crowd, before he took Jimin's hand and walked him down the isle, Jimin feeling his urgency.
When they were finally out of the others sight and hearing capabilities, Jimin spoke. "Jungkook! Where are we going?" Jimin felt concerned.
Jungkook was panting. "Chambers."
"You're not okay, you should see Hoseok, he can heal you up-"
"I need you Jimin." Jungkook spoke a little shakily. "I-they're so restless it's starting to make me weak. But...but just with you here I'm already feeling better."
Jungkook brought them to a large house, Jungkook going inside immediately, dragging Jimin along to his room. Jimin had a small amount of time to take things in before he was picked up and dropped on the bed. Jungkook stared at Jimin with a pink tint on his cheeks.
"Did I see dogs?"
"Jimin." Jungkook couldn't help but laugh. "You're adorable." Jimin scooted back onto the bed.
"If you're planning on having sex, I'm just going to say that my hair is gelled and I have make up on, which isn't the best combination." Jimin pouted. "And I'll murder you if you mess up my robes, they were really hard to make."
Jungkook laughed again before stumbling. "Maybe clean up then? I'll get you different robes. You look...marvelous..." Jungkook took in the sight, Jimin doing the same.
"White fits you. I'll be sure to make you wear colors other than black." Jimin smiled. He got up and went to clean himself up, Jungkook getting him different robes. Jungkook quickly sat on the bed afterwards.
Jimin came back to him after changing. He laid beside Jungkook. "Are you going to be okay?"
"Jimin...can...can I request something?"
"Already?" Jimin gave him a reassuring smile.
Jungkook smiled back. "Yeah. Perhaps already. Jimin, please let me...love you..." Jungkook shied away a little, but Jimin brought his face closer to his own. Jimin gave him a little kiss on his nose.
"Of course. I want to give back to you. Your energy, magic, whatever it is that you g-gave me, I want to give it back. You need it."
Jungkook grinned. "You'll be needing a lot of energy living here. Work is hard." Jungkook sat up and started to unrobe, Jimin immediately becoming embarrassed. Jungkook stopped unrobing.
"A-ah. Work." Jimin could feel Jungkook's smile.
"Jiminie~ why are you embarrassed? It's not like you've never seen me naked before."
"But...it's been a while."
"Well lucky for you, I'm still nice to look at." Jungkook leaned over Jimin to give him a kiss, Jimin turned to the side, making Jungkook's lips kiss his cheek. "Oh? Shy?"
Jimin blushed red. "You're confident."
"Is there a problem with that?" Jungkook cocked his head to the side, a small pout on his lips.
"No just...not used to it."
"Well you're certainly calling out to me. Im not sure what it was...but you feel...special. More than usual."
Jimin giggled. "You don't make any sense sometimes."
Jungkook lost his balance his hands slipping slightly before he caught himself. "S-sorry."
"Hey...let me take care of you today. You've exerted enough."
"I'll be okay. Don't worry."
"I am worried. So please. Let me." Jimin looked at him earnestly, Jungkook giving in.
"Ahh, okay." He shook his head with a smile.
"Lay down Kookie." Jimin sat up as Jungkook laid down and threw his leg over Jungkook's thighs, taking a seat on his lap. "You'll thank me afterwards."
Jungkook grinned. "I can thank you now. I don't know how long I'll be able to stay awake at this point."
"Wonder what the others are doing. If they're worried."
"You're thinking about them?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "And not me?" Then he pouted, making Jimin laugh.
"Of course I'm thinking about you too. I just don't want them to worry."
Jungkook smiled softly. "You're so kind."
"I try my best to make people comfortable."
"Well, I certainly am. You make me the most comfortable." Jungkook put his hands on Jimin's thighs lovingly, adoration shining in his eyes.
"I'm glad." Jimin blushed. Helping the ones he loved was extremely important to him.
"You let me be weird and silly, and you let me make no sense and explain myself. You don't judge any single thing I do, and you're just so...so kind." Jungkook smiled more. "I love you." Jungkook moved his feet excitedly, like a dog would it's tail, back and forth.
Jimin laughed. "You're cute." He ran his hands up Jungkook's chest then down again, his robes being moved out of the way. "Very, cute."
"I'm not cute...I'm a king." Jungkook pouted, but Jimin smiled more.
"You are. Every thing about you is adorable. And I don't care if you believe it, because I know what I see."
"You're so beautiful. Inside and out."
"And how would you know that?" Jimin giggled.
"Well...I know you're beautiful on the outside, since you have such nice eyes, the most amazing smile, and the kindest heart. And Jimin, I know you're beautiful because I've been inside you." Jungkook whispered the last of his sentence, making Jimin blush hard.
"I-Jungkook..." he looked down, at a loss of words.
"Aww~ there's no need to be embarrassed Jiminie. It's so cute when you take control."
"T-that was different."
"Oh? Was it? You begged me to do as you wanted our first time, what changes it now?"
"W-well now..." Jimin stared at Jungkook's chest, his breathing easy, and stole a glance at his face before staring at his chest again. His smile was too much.
"Now you're on top?"
"Y-yeah. Makes it different."
"Then make yourself comfortable. Whatever it is that makes you comfortable, do it."
"B-but your comfort is-"
"Jimin. Your comfort goes before mine. I'm already very fatigued, but I'm not uncomfortable."
"If you're fatigued then we shouldn't be...doing this." Jimin fret, Jungkook taking Jimin's hands in his own.
"Jimin. It's okay. Without this I'll...I really don't know if I'll live." Jungkook gave a quiet laugh.
"R-reincarnate?" Jimin gulped.
Jungkook shook his head.
"O-oh." Jimin moved anxiously on top of Jungkook. "I didn't realize it was so bad."
"I need this Jimin. Please. Make yourself as comfortable as you can."
"I...want...to please you. But I'm embarrassed."
"Then do it to please yourself. Like before. Feel the connection and go off on that."
"Feel the connection? Okay." Jimin took a big breath before concentrating, their closeness making Jimin at ease. "Okay." Jimin leaned down and kissed Jungkook's chest, moving up to his neck, then lips. "And you're positive?"
"Jimin." Jungkook wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist as Jimin moved his sitting position from his thighs to his crotch. "I'm absolutely positive."
"For someone dying you sure are smiley." Jungkook gave a weak laugh.
"Yeah, you better get to it Jimin. Might die on you." Jungkook moved his hands to Jimin's ass, giving him an encouraging squeeze.
Jimin gave a surprised yelp. "J-Jungkook!"
"Jimin..." Jungkook spoke softly. "Just remember our times together. Remember what we used to promise and say." Jungkook smiled. "Just remember the love."
Jimin felt himself get hot. "Y-yeah I remember it all right. You were so confident and happy. Always so happy..." Jimin started to move his hips on Jungkook. "God you're always so beautiful."
"Ethereal." Jungkook smiled "I think you mean ethereal."
"Whatever." Jimin rolled his eyes, speaking lower, making Jungkook lose his confidence for a second. He put more pressure on Jungkook's crotch, making Jungkook gasp slightly.
"Ah. Jimin, t-that feels nice."
"Mmm...yeah." Jungkook watched Jimin's eyes become more serious.
"Y-you good?"
"You need...less clothes."
"You stopped me from undressing."
"I was worried before, but now...thinking."
"About?"
"About how good you feel inside me."
"A-a-ah." Jungkook felt his cheeks burn. "I-I'm glad."
"Can't wait to feel you again." Jimin basically purred his words, Jungkook feeling immensely turned on.
"B-better get prepped then." Jungkook could feel his hard on, and he knew Jimin could too.
"Mmmm." Jimin ran his hands up and down Jungkook's chest again, keeping them there as he rolled his hips more, creating a rhythm. "Feels good?"
Jungkook nodded, his voice becoming much quieter. "Yeah."
Jimin pouted. "Only a little bit?"
"F-feels really good Jimin."
"Aww~ you stuttered. How cute." Jimin sat up and started to unrobe himself, letting the fabric rest around his waist.
"Fuck." Jungkook stared at Jimin.
"Eyes are up here darling." Jimin moved Jungkook's robes off of him, sitting up to take them off.
"I-yeah. I know." Jungkook's eyes looked down, then up again, giving Jimin a small shiver. Jungkook's look was filled with want. "Y-you should move."
"Oh should I?"
"Yeah. You really should." Jungkook gave him another squeeze, Jimin moving his hips immediately.
"You should really prep me then."
"Well then, someone's going to have to get the lube."
"And where might that be?"
"It might be right next to the bed on the table."
"Oh. Almost like you prepped for this." Jimin stood and got the bottle, Jungkook laughing.
"You could say that. Might've left that part out of my letter, hm."
"I mean...I might've requested it." Jimin got back on Jungkook, finally taking off his own robe.
"Really?" Jungkook looked up at Jimin with a painfully kind smile.
Jimin laughed a little. "Yeah. I missed you a lot..."
"I missed you too. Now come'er." Jungkook took the lube and poured it on his fingers before reaching behind Jimin and finding his hole. He pushed in one finger carefully, watching Jimin's face to make sure he wasn't hurting him, before realizing he probably couldn't hurt him. "Good?"
"Yeah, do another."
"Jimin."
"Jungkook. Glad we know each other's names."
Jungkook scoffed. "Jimin. You sure?"
"I'm sure. Put another." Jimin nodded, leaning his weight on Jungkook, hands on his chest, to give Jungkook a better angle.
"Okay..." Jungkook carefully added another finger, Jimin wincing only slightly at the new feeling, but not in pain. Jungkook laughed a little.
"What?" Jimin glared at him.
"You just like the feeling, huh?"
"S-so what if I do?"
"Our bodies can take any shape we want, we can feel no pain unless it's from another gods fury...and yet...you like the feeling of my fingers up your ass?" Jungkook laughed quietly at Jimin's glare.
"And I like your dick up there too, so get to it." Jimin blushed heavily, making Jungkook laugh again, and making Jimin bounce on top of him.
"You're cute Jimin."
"Yeah? Well you're hard and I'd like to get to that."
"I won't die yet Jiminie. It can wait a minute."
"I want...I want it Jungkook." Jimin pouted, his blush still red enough for Jungkook to see. "Please."
"Awww~ how adorable. Give me a minute, no?" Jungkook pushed his fingers in, scissoring and curling, finding Jimin's more sensitive spots. He watched as Jimin bit his bottom lip, not making any noises. "Are you retaliating?"
"Maybe." Jimin whined quietly, not loud enough for Jungkook to enjoy.
"Jimin~ please?"
"Please what?" Jimin tightened around Jungkook's fingers, closing his eyes to take in the feeling.
"Please moan? Use your pretty voice? Make yourself comfortable."
"I think I would be most comfortable on your dick." Jimin raised an eyebrow, Jungkook laughing a little.
"Yeah? You wanna be there already?"
"A-at least let me rest on it. Feels nice."
"You're such a spoiled brat." Jungkook sighed heavily, taking his fingers out. Jimin excitedly put lube on Jungkook's cock, settling on his tip before moving down slowly. Jungkook watched the room grow vines, roses popping up around here and there. "Good?"
"Mmm." Jimin nodded. "Good."
"Roses are strong."
"They are." Jimin looked at Jungkook, then bottomed out, making Jungkook blush a little. "You know they mean love, right?"
"I assumed so." Jungkook watched Jimin adjust. "You're so beautiful. Did you know that?"
"You never fail to tell me." Jimin smiled widely, Jungkook looking at him with adoration.
"I need to remind you that I love you whenever I can."
"I love you too."
"Forgive me?"
"For?"
Jungkook grabbed Jimin's back, making sure to support him, and pushed him back while sitting up, quite awkwardly, but all in the same surprising Jimin enough for him to not fight back against it. Jungkook now hovered over Jimin, hands moving to his waist, kneeling to get leverage and a better angle.
"Jungkook! N-you need to rest-"
"I think I've got enough energy for this." Jungkook started to move, pulling out, then pushing in.
"J-J-Jungkook!" Jimin stuttered, his previous confidence becoming butterflies. "W-Wait!"
"Naw, I've got this." Jungkook nearly growled his words, Jimin blushing profusely.
"Y-your health!" Jimin moaned as soon as Jungkook pushed into him harder.
"I'm feeling healthy. Sex helps health."
"F-fuck." Jimin quietly cursed, Jungkook able to see the new vines and roses encroaching around the room.
"Feels good I'm guessing." Jungkook sped up his pace, just to see Jimin react.
Jimin arched his back, moaning much louder. "J-Jungkook! Jungkook, you-"
"Don't worry about my health Jimin. Don't worry about anything. Just let yourself feel pleasure." Jungkook continued to move quickly, Jimin moans progressively got louder, giving Jungkook enough energy to keep his speed.
Jimin could feel the difference. He felt as if a bit of himself was entering Jungkook. Like they were sharing their life, becoming one, but still their own selves. "J-Jungkook." Jimin spoke softly, Jungkook nodding.
"Yeah, I feel it too. Gimme...gimme a second." Jungkook rested inside Jimin, nuzzling his face in Jimin's neck. He kissed gently, then kissed up to his lips. They kissed softly, before Jungkook pulled away with a giddy laugh. "I feel much better now Jiminie~"
Jimin gulped. "Jungkook..."
"I think we can go for a longer time now." He smiled happily before pulling out, and slamming into Jimin, holding onto Jimin's waist to stabilize him. "Don't you think?"
"-Kook!" Jimin gasped out, Jungkook laughing.
"Yeah. I'm feeling energetic now!" Jungkook laughed again, before keeping his energetic pace. The energy he once lost being suddenly there was a high he'd never been on before.
"D-don't take it out on me!" Jimin spoke as quickly as he could before Jungkook pushed into him again, Jimin moaning loudly. He felt his heat, Jungkook's heat, and the scent of rose becoming stronger.
"But Jimin, you take me so well. I'm not hurting you, am I?" Jungkook did stop, making sure Jimin was okay.
Jimin felt his face burn with embarrassment. "...no."
"Then it's not a problem?" Jungkook slowly pulled out.
"...n...no..."
"Positive?"
Jimin nodded.
"Then..." Jungkook slammed into him again, and kept that pace up, Jimin moaning loudly once again.
"Jungkook~ y-you're too much."
"Ha~" Jungkook closed his eyes. "It's not me, it's you. How did I ever resist you? You're so...captivating."
Jungkook groaned as his moved, Jimin exhaling more air than he was taking in. "Jungkook! Jungkook, you've- I've!" Jimin stopped saying coherent sentences, his eyes closed, hips raised, and face red.
Jungkook drank it all in, wanting everything to be ingrained in his memory. He wanted to remember this feeling forever. Jungkook felt himself start to lose his high, his pace calming down.
"Jimin 'm close." Jungkook watched Jimin nod, his face still concentrating on Jungkook's movements.
"A little bit...a little bit more."
"I think I can do that."
Roses filled the air as Jungkook gave a last effort of energy into pleasing Jimin, giving a much more balanced pace instead of a fast paced one. Jimin moaned out before coming, Jungkook coming right after him. Jungkook watched Jimin, before giving him kisses on his chest, neck, cheek, lips; wherever he could.
Jimin gave a quiet laugh. "You've got roses on you."
"Guess it was good, no?" Jungkook continued his kisses.
"Mmm...it was good. You're always good." Jimin hummed, tired from his energy being taken away.
"I'll clean ya up."
"No no...you need to rest."
"It doesn't look like you're willing to get up, and this is my fault."
"There's no faults."
"Shower?"
"Bath."
"Works for me."
____
"I can't believe he ran out of the room just to have sex." Jin huffed.
"Jin! Jungkook was dying." Namjoon exhaled.
"Not my problem. It's his wedding. There should be more celebration."
Namjoon laughed. "I'm sure they're celebrating quite happily."
"Oh shush."
"You know he wasn't...you know he wasn't a virgin before, right?" Namjoon looked at him in confusion as the two lounged in Namjoon's house. "Oh?"
"He what?" Jin put his drink down.
Namjoon pursed his lips and looked out his window. And outlook on the ocean.
"Joonie..."
"He um...wasn't a virgin...by the time they got married."
"With whom, might I ask?"
"Why, Jungkook of course. They were connected since they were reborn. It's only natural."
"Dear gods." Jin shook his head. "I'm an idiot."
"A little bit."
____
"I think it went well."
"He was limping!" Hoseok exclaimed at Taehyung.
"But all is well now." Yoongi smiled. "The Underworld has settled. They can feel the new power."
"I'm glad you can feel that. But I'm still kind of uncomfortable here." Hoseok shivered.
"We've been asked to help clean up the place."
"Oh fuck that."
____
"Must you cockwarm me? We're trying to bathe." Jungkook held Jimin's waist as he moved down on top of him.
"Feels good. And you can wash me, it doesn't matter."
"Ah, okay." Jungkook smiled at him. "I'm so very blessed by fate."
"Oh you think you're blessed? I think I am. You're perfection in a body."
"I wanted to become better for you."
"I'm positive you've done that. There's not a centimeter I don't like about you."
"You're so very kind." Jungkook started to wash Jimin's body, the warm water nice to the touch. Jimin pushed Jungkook's hair back, exposing his forehead.
"Mmm...you're handsome."
"You sure are something." Jungkook washed Jimin's hair carefully. "You always like to be close."
"There's nothing wrong with that, right?"
"No, not when it's you. You don't take my energy."
"Good. I never want to be a burden to you."
"And you'll never be one. I love everything about you."
Jimin laughed. "You're sweet."
"Yeah, I know." Jungkook smiled.
____
"Oh...a new Queen...I just realized we'll have to teach Jimin a bunch of etiquettes." Mark frowned. "That's not going to be fun."
"It'll be fine. Jimin's a quick learner."
"Ah, you're right. It'll be fine."
~~~~
"Jungkook, this is boring." Jimin pouted as he watched a new shipment of souls come off the boat.
"Jimin...it's my job..." Jungkook gave a small smile.
"I know. But, you said we'd be able to go to the garden today, and we still haven't because of work. It's prettiest in about 10 minutes so you better get to it or I'm going to step in." Jimin huffed.
"Jimin-"
"I mean it." Jimin glared.
Jungkook gulped. "Okay. I'll try my best."
"10 minutes." Jimin turned tail and walked away.
Jungkook quickly decided the souls fates, not wanting to make Jimin upset or whiny. An upset Jimin was the scariest thing Jungkook had seen.
"And...third door." Jungkook decided the last one, standing from his throne. "Tell Thanatos he's working hard. When he comes by of course." Jungkook waved his assistant off and made his way to the garden that Jimin had made.
He entered carefully, not wanting to disturb any of the birds and flowers. When he came to the middle, he saw Jimin turn around with determination before easing his expression.
"Oh! You're here. I was just about to go get you."
"I'm here, don't worry." Jungkook laughed a little before going over to Jimin. "I didn't realize you needed some time together. Thank you for telling me you did."
"It's harsh being alone down here. I don't have any nymphs to be with." Jimin pouted as he took Jungkook's hand to play with. "But I have you."
"You can always go up you know."
"I know but I want to be with you."
"You sound just like Jin sometimes." Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"Well, he's right about some things." Jimin smiled. "Jungkook..."
"Yes?"
"Thank you. For finding me. For loving me. I kept that ribbon you gave me. And...I wanted to give you one too. I added some flower prints on it, so sorry it doesn't symbolize a king but...I think it's pretty." Jimin tied a white ribbon with black pearls on it. A black rose with crimson.
"It's so nice. Thank you Jimin."
"We're linked. In more than one way. And I...I love you." Jimin looked up at him with red cheeks, and a big smile.
Jungkook smiled right back. "Thank you for loving me."
Alright so a quick word from me. I'll work on some 100k stories soon, but first I am going to do an editing on every previous story I've written here.
I will be revising editing, spelling, grammar, and at most whole sections of my stories.
This might take some time, but I need to do it for my own desire. This is just an update as to why I might not be updating a new story soon.
Thank you!
