Thank you to @kuroshitsuji_4life for this suggestion, I felt like I needed to do a Halloween special because it's Halloween!! And Halloween belongs to the gays >:)
(Anyone listen to day6? My favorite has become time of our life)
_________
"Guys, come on." Jimin complained, holding Hoseok's hand. "This isn't a good idea. We've been saying it all night."
"It's Halloween! On a full moon, and a blue moon at that. We've gotta do something spooky or else." Taehyung smiled mischievously. "Why wouldn't we?"
"Because this is stupid." Jin huffed, holding on tight to Namjoon. "We shouldn't be doing this."
"It's a stupid thing, in a stupid book. We might as well try it." Yoongi held Hoseok's other hand, for moral support. "You'll be fine."
"Hyung, this is stupid." Hoseok looked between Yoongi and Namjoon. "Namjoon, you can't be serious about this. How'd they trick you into this?"
Namjoon sighed. "Look, I'm an atheist. This isn't going to work, okay? I won't dampen their fun."
"It isn't fun, it's scary." Jimin defended Hoseok. "This isn't something we should be doing. I have a bad feeling hyung..." Jimin looked at Seokjin. "Do we have to?"
"N-Namjoonie is probably right...nothing will happen." He gave a hopeful smile.
"It's a haunted night! How is that a good time to do this?" Hoseok whined, pulling Yoongi and Jimin closer.
"It'll be fine. Once it hits midnight, we'll start." Taehyung spoke softly, reassuring Hoseok. "I promise hyung."
"I dunno Taehyung, this is a little...spooky."
"It's Halloween." Taehyung and Yoongi spoke together. "It's supposed to be spooky."
Jimin exhaled. "Fine. Fine. But if you're going to scare us for fun then I'm going to murder you Taehyung."
"I won't! But let's set up. Before it's too late to do so."
Jimin let go of Hoseok's hand and helped Taehyung set up their little seance. They got paint, making the artists in the group make the circle and star in the middle. Jimin sighed as he set up their candles, and got the book from the library that had their instructions.
"Mmm..." Jimin got out his flashlight to read. "Ahh, okay, we've gotta...paint some symbols." Jimin put the book down and started to paint, Taehyung taking a look and painting the other ones.
Jin looked at Hoseok. "Hopefully we don't get cursed for this."
"If I'm getting cursed I'm going to kill you all." Hoseok shook his head, holding on tight to Yoongi.
"Alright come on y'all, in a circle." Taehyung sat down, Jimin sitting next to him. Hoseok and Yoongi moved together, since Hoseok wouldn't let go of him, and sat next to Jimin. Namjoon and Jin completed their circle.
"Okay." Jimin exhaled, giving the lighter to Yoongi. Yoongi lit the candles as Jimin passed out papers, his handwriting as clear as possible for them all. They would read from papers, and burn them, while Jimin would read from the book. "It's a little hard to say all the syllables...but we can try."
"What kind of demon are we summoning exactly?" Namjoon asked curiously, taking his paper and reading over it.
"I can't read Latin hyung." Jimin sighed. "Taehyung gave me a book to study so I did. I prepped for a whole month for this, but it still feels like a bad idea." Jimin glared at Taehyung, who gave a shrug.
"Hey...you said last year wasn't scary enough, so now we're in an abandoned mall, doing a seance to summon a demon. Isn't that a bigger step up?"
"This wasn't exactly what we had in mind." Hoseok definitely felt afraid as he looked over his paper. "I...don't think this is going to be easy to say."
"Yeah, it isn't." Jimin sighed. "It's a lot of effort."
"We've got a minute. Remember to burn the papers afterwards, cause the ashes are supposed to be in the middle." Taehyung checked his phone.
"God this feels bad..." Jin shivered. "I'm getting bad vibes."
"The library wouldn't put an actual real demon summoner in their horror section." Jimin shook his head.
"I agree. It'll be fine guys. Demons don't exist." Namjoon patted Jin's hand.
"Yeah."
"Annnnd okay. Ready?" Taehyung cleared his throat, getting his paper.
"Yeah." The rest of them spoke, or nodded in confirmation.
"Alright. Three, two, one-"
The lot of them started to speak the Latin, trying to be in unison. Jimin kept their pace, knowing they had to finish their speech in the minute, at midnight only.
Jimin finished, checking the time with a smile, then looked over his shoulder. "Alright. That's it. Burn the papers." They did, lighting the papers on the candles and putting them in the middle to burn. Jimin closed the book he read from.
Hoseok held onto Yoongi with chattering teeth. "I-is anything gunna happen?"
"I can't read Latin...so I really don't know. It's also old Latin, so I can't exactly look it up without weird misinterpretations. But uhh...doesn't look like anything's happening." Jimin smiled uneasily.
"I told you guys." Taehyung laughed. "Hoseok hyung, why are you so scared?"
"The whole situation is stupid! What did you expect?!" Hoseok cried out, still feeling scared. "It's dark, we're alone, and we just tried to summon a demon!"
Namjoon couldn't help but laugh a little. "But Hoseok, they don't exist. We'll be fine. It's just a little Halloween trick anyways."
Jimin nodded, and reached for Taehyung's backpack. He looked behind him again. "Lemme put the book back, and then let's get out of here-"
A loud clang was heard, making Jin and Hoseok scream. Jimin jumped, and Taehyung stood up. He clicked on his flashlight. "Come on, it's probably just something that fell." He was a tad bit more serious now.
"You want us to go to it?" Jin whispered angrily at Taehyung.
"Sure. Spooky~" Taehyung helped Jimin up. "Come on, let's go find our demon."
Yoongi got up, helping Hoseok up too.
"I'm staying, fuck that shit." Jin crossed his arms and exhaled a short breath from his nose.
"I'll stay with him." Namjoon smiled. "And we'll clean up."
"Sure thing." Yoongi smiled and let Hoseok kill his hand by squeezing it too tight.
The four of them headed to the direction of the sound. "I...could've gone to my sisters party instead of this. I could've dressed up, and danced instead of this." Hoseok complained. "Yoongi hyung, you're rude."
"Pshh...this is nice. With everyone." Yoongi smiled more, trying to keep with Taehyung and Jimin.
Jimin rolled his eyes as Taehyung turned off his light. "Don't scare him."
"I'm gunna do it."
"Don't do it. Yoongi might punch you."
"It is cute how he protects him-" Taehyung was cut off from another sound. "Shit dude." They heard Hoseok exclaim behind them.
"Taehyung!" Hoseok dragged Yoongi to them. "S-stop making noises!"
"That wasn't us Hoseok hyung..." Jimin looked around, all of their flashlight out and on. "I think things are just falling."
"That doesn't sound like boxes." Hoseok clinched to Yoongi.
"Could be." Taehyung pinpointed the sound. "I think it's in this store. Help me open it up."
Jimin helped him open it, and they heard another noise inside. "J-jesus christ..." Jimin felt a little scared now. "Is anyone in here?" The four of them flashed their lights around, trying to find something.
"Oh fuck guys, look!" Yoongi led Hoseok, catching a glimpse. "Think it's a cat."
"A cat?!" Jimin excitedly smiled. "The poor thing!" Jimin no longer felt fear, walking in, but Taehyung stopped him.
"Could be feral. Or it could be sick."
Jimin took off his sweater, getting ready to catch a cat. "I'm used to caring for them. I'll be fine." Jimin went around the cashier counter, trying to find the cat.
Yoongi led Hoseok around the other side, trying to find the possible cat.
Hoseok almost fell backwards when the cat jumped up on the counter, but Yoongi tugged him up, their hands tight together.
"Oh! How beautiful." Jimin spoke quietly. "Come here kitty...I'll take you home."
The cat stared at Yoongi and Hoseok, before turning to Jimin and Taehyung on the other side of the counter. It started to walk to Jimin, ignoring the rest of them.
"Wow, pussy whisperer." Taehyung teased Jimin, but Jimin ignored him.
"Come here love." Jimin spoke quietly, and was surprised when the cat walked to him, sitting in front of him. He stared at him...and so Jimin slowly put his hoodie over the cat, picking it up. "Alright cool. Um, that was easy."
"You're really going to take it home?" Yoongi asked carefully.
"For a night. I'll take it to an aspca tomorrow."
"Mmm...okay." Taehyung agreed. "It seemed pretty ready to go to you."
They made their way back to Jin and Namjoon. "Seemed like it." Jimin peaked inside, the cat not moving at all, only staring back. The eyes reflected, making Jimin feel a little creeped out.
"Are you guys okay?" Namjoon asked softly as they got back.
Hoseok shook his head. "I wanna go home."
"It was a cat." Yoongi grinned at Hoseok.
"Oh! Alright. It's just a cat." Jin exhaled in relief. "Jimin...what's in your sweater?"
"Said cat. I can't leave an abandoned cat in this mall. It'll go hungry." Jimin pouted. "Just for a night."
Namjoon nodded. "Alright. It's all packed up...but we're going to have to leave the paint."
"Works for me."
The six of them packed their things, and started to leave. Jimin held the cat close, making sure it was warm enough, while they got in their cars. Hoseok and Yoongi said their goodbyes, Jin and Namjoon did as well, and Taehyung was driving Jimin home.
"Sure you'll be okay with the car for the night?"
"I'll probably put it in a room all alone, you know how strays are. They need time alone."
"Yeah, you're right. I won't be free for too much longer, so if you need anything I'll try and help out."
"It'll be alright." Jimin looked in the sweater again. The cat still hadn't really moved, and was still staring at Jimin. "Mm...he's pretty cute, I'm not gunna lie. He's a black cat though, so hopefully he'll get adopted. They're the least likely to be adopted you know."
"If he's cute, I'm sure he'll get adopted."
"Hopefully. Thanks for the ride Taehyung. You're going to get hell for spooking Hoseok hyung tonight."
"I'll take it. It was fun. Nice painting by the way, it looked pretty good."
"Thanks." Jimin smiled a little. "D'ya wanna come in for a drink?"
"Naw, I gotta make my way home. I can't go to work tomorrow wasted."
"Ah, alright." Jimin sighed. "We're all so busy now."
"It's a lot, I know." Taehyung sighed. "But hey, thanks for coming out. Hopefully you've got something the little guy can eat."
"I'll find something." Jimin smiled. "See ya Taehyung."
Jimin went inside his house, carrying his bag and his sweater. He set his bag down, going to his one unused room. He turned on the lights, and set down his sweater, opening it up for the cat to come out. It slowly walked out, then sat with regolness. It sat tall, straight, and it's eyes pierced through Jimin. It's tail flicked back and forth.
"Ohhhhhkay then." Jimin slowly backed up. He didn't look like a stray. And Jimin could only assume he was a he, because of his size. Female cats were typically small, and well, he was not small. He was clean, and smooth, and Jimin wondered what the fuck he was doing in an abandoned mall. "Okay." Jimin backed away and closed the door after turning on the lights.
He went to get water and some sort of food, to see if he would take either of it, but when he came back, the cat was still in the same spot.
Jimin slowly set down the water and food. "...you're a weird one." Jimin sat down after turning on the lights again. "What were you doing in the mall?"
"You should ask yourself that."
Jimin gasped and moved backwards, pressing himself against the wall. "W-what?!" Jimin covered his mouth, before trying to scramble for his phone. Taehyung must not have gotten too far.
"You're the one who summoned me...why are you afraid?" The cat stalked towards him, giving a smile.
"I-it- it- it shouldn't have worked." Jimin stared at the cat in horror. "No, no it didn't work."
"Then how am I here love?" He tilted his head.
"I...I must be so tired, I must be hallucinating."
"Oh no, you said your Latin too perfectly to be hallucinating. The only one who did say it perfectly, actually. Which is why I'm here."
"I-I don't think- I think this is a misunderstanding. I didn't want to summon you." Jimin backed against the wall, trying to get his phone out of his pocket.
"But you did. And I've gotta say, it's been a while."
"H-how did you...that sound, that wasn't a cat."
"Well...when you said "here" you sent me sailing, but you weren't looking somewhere with a soft landing." The cat kind of grimaced. "But a lot of you came, so I changed shape."
"...changed shape..." Jimin slowly inched to the door.
"Hey, don't go running. You've gotta finish the ritual." The cat stalked closer, scaring Jimin into movement.
"I don't know the words I said!" Jimin rushed out of the door, scrambling to get up, but he barely got to the hallway before he was slammed against the wall.
"You don't know the words you spoke? Yet you still did it?" The cat...was no longer a cat. He was now in the shape of a man, but Jimin didn't look further than his face, struck with fear. He was holding Jimin by the collar. "So you have no idea what I am?"
Jimin shook his head, closing his eyes with fear.
He laughed, and Jimin hated how cheery it sounded. "I'm a lust demon. The cult who summoned me before must've left their book. And you summoned me. Wanna know the rules?" He leaned closer, whispering into Jimin's ear. "Or would you like to get straight to the point?"
Jimin pushed him away, weaseling out of the demons grip, trying to get to his front door, but was stopped again. The demon grabbed his waist and picked him up, Jimin kicking, but to no use.
The demon threw him on his couch, slamming his hand on the back of the couch to pin Jimin in one spot. "Why're you trying to get away? You've signed up for a deal. Just because you didn't know the terms and conditioned doesn't mean you get to get away with it."
Jimin wanted to cry. "Why are you doing this to me?" His voice was trembling.
"You did it to yourself." He grinned a little. "I'm honestly impressed by your speech. Maybe you could talk to me in a special way?"
Jimin shook his head. "...what is going to happen?"
"Oh perfect." The demon sat on Jimin's lap, grabbing the back of the couch on both sides of Jimin's head now. "I'm imprinted on you now. So I need a little...sacrifice, to stay with you. There's a couple rules."
"W-what are you doing. W-what do you mean?!" Jimin closed his eyes again, feeling the demons breath on his neck.
"I need to complete the ritual to become yours. I'm made in your ideal image, so it shouldn't be hard to do."
"W-what are you talking about?"
"Lemme make it simple. You summed me. I'm a lust demon. I'm yours...but only if you let me fuck you. Or you fuck me, whatever you prefer. That's the ritual."
"What?!" Jimin opened his eyes, shuddering as the demon kissed his neck. "S-s-stop! Stop it! I don't want this!"
He pulled away, confused. "You don't?" He gave a glare. "What am I doing wrong? I'm literally the form you'd love most. You summoned me so you have to go through with it. You don't know the words you said."
"I don't have to do a thing." Jimin tried to push him off, but couldn't.
"If you don't, I'll disappear." He growled, and Jimin noticed him for the first time.
He really was a demon. His hair was somewhat long, his eyes were a beautiful dark brown, and he looked young, but mature at the same time. Jimin noticed he had curved ram horns, supposedly demonic, but they just looked cool.
He watched the demon smile after Jimin was quiet for too long.
"So do you understand now? I'm all yours."
"I...I don't need someone. You can leave."
He groaned. "No I can't. You have no idea the words you've said. I live off of lust." He tried to explain. "So the more you express lust, the longer I'll live. If you don't express lust, I become docile. But if you complete the ritual, I'll live, and I'll be yours." He smiled again, and Jimin thought it was charming.
"I. Don't. Need anyone." Jimin clarified. "I don't care about the words I said, it was an accident. It was a joke."
"Aww, that can't be true. It wasn't an accident. You all did it on purpose. You just happened to be the one to get blessed with me." He grinned happily. "And you're such a cutie. I think perhaps we've both been blessed."
"This isn't a blessing. I'm not going to- to have sex with you. I don't want you."
"You could've had a much worse demon, trust me. Sloth demons are so annoying."
Jimin finally understood the Latin on the book cover. "Oh my god. Oh- oh god, that's what the translation was." He spoke weakly.
"So you do know?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow.
"Not really. I don't get it at all actually. Why...why would anyone make such a thing?"
"It's a sad world. But I can make it better." He moved closer again, but Jimin shoved his face away.
"Don't you dare."
"D'ya want me to die? Once you stop lusting I'm going to die." He glared. "Don't you want to give in?"
"I...I don't know why you think you're my ideal form. Whatever that means. I think you need to go."
"What do you mean? You like guys, so I'm in the form of a guy. It's your subconscious. I took that form. Every detail you love, that's what I am. It's not a choice." The demon scoffed. "Are you trying to say I'm not?"
"I know you're not." Jimin glared.
He laughed. "Come on. You can't tell me my magic is incorrect. There's no way I'm wrong. There's no way you aren't attracted to me." The demon moved his hand to grab Jimin's wrist, taking his hand and pressing it against his chest. He slid Jimin's hand down his chest.
Jimin blushed, feeling the demons chest. "S-stop that! Stop. I don't want this. You need to stop." Jimin blushed more as the demon brought his hand up and kissed his palm.
"I want to complete the ritual. Jimin...isn't it? Such a nice name..." he continued to kiss at his palm, looking through his eyelashes to see Jimin. "Wanna know my name? Maybe you need to know me first."
Jimin felt even more embarrassed now, and then slightly scared. "I-I don't want to know you. You- I didn't mean to do it correctly."
"You don't want to know me? What if I force you to know me. I need you to know...I can feel lust too. So whenever you're feeling it, it literally fuels me. We're attached now. We just gotta finish it. You know, seal the deal. Be real connected."
Jimin shook his head. "No. No, I can't- I don't want this. This was supposed to be a fun little Halloween scare, not a real scare!"
"I'm here for you. Whatever you want, that's what I'm here for." He slowly took a finger into his mouth, making Jimin shiver.
"S-s-stop." Jimin blushed more, feeling himself have mixed emotions. "You need to stop."
"If I stop...I could die."
"B- but I don't want to- to do this. I don't want this."
"These are the consequences for your actions. You studied the Latin. You spoke it perfectly, painted my symbols as if they were your own, and now I am yours. I'll do anything you want."
"I want you to stop."
"Anything you want after the ritual is finished." He clarified. "So get to know me. You're going to have a limit to how long I can stay if you keep this up. Thank god you've got tons of lust hidden within you." He kissed at his palm again, licking it.
Jimin shuddered. "L-look demon, I don't-"
"Call me Jungkook, please. I want you to attach a name to my face." He tried to moved his face closer again, but Jimin put his free hand against his chest to keep him at bay. "Fuck, just let me indulged you."
"I don't want any of this. I- I just don't understand- why- why me?" Jimin was now thoroughly confused.
"I told you. You were the only one who spoke the Latin correctly. When you said "here" I was officially summoned. Yes, I was in that store, but I shaped into a cat because I'm for you only. You brought me home, and here I am. I'm all for you." Jungkook smiled, grabbing Jimin's other wrist, pressing it against his chest while moving closer. "And all I wanna do is please you, Jimin."
"I do not need a demon." Jimin spoke weakly.
"Why not? You deserve me. You did everything right, and I'm your reward. But you gotta hurry. If I go a month without some sort of display of lust, I'll really die. I mean that."
Jimin shook his head, turning to the side. "I don't want this."
"I'm the embodiment of want. And I gotta say...you don't have a strong soul. It's your decision though. But I'll keep being desperate. I can't help it." He kissed at Jimin's neck again, lightly dragging his teeth against his skin.
"J-Jungkook." Jimin spoke quietly trying a different tactic, and he could feel Jungkook's excitement from him using his name. "Stop. W-we can- we can discuss this tomorrow when I'm not- not losing my mind. But at the moment, I do not want this." His voice slowly got quieter as Jungkook bit into his skin softly.
"Want you though..."
"I need to- to think things through before I can decide anything, o-okay?" Jimin hoped for a compromise. "Does that- that sound okay?"
"Wanna sleep with you. Mmmm." Jungkook hummed. "Sure thing. Just don't leave me for dead. It's a painful thing to have to come alive again. Truly is."
Jimin exhaled in relief as Jungkook slowly got off of him. Jimin took one look at him before looking away with a deep, red blush.
Jungkook laughed. "Take a good look. I'm your ideal type. I won't mind if you stare and imagine things. Hell, I live for it." He grinned, and Jimin couldn't help but smile at his bad pun.
"You're something else. I...I don't want to sleep in the same room as you. I don't even know if you sleep."
"I can. But I wanna sleep with you."
"That's not going to be allowed." Jimin stood up and brushed himself off. "Sleep here."
"But I'll only be thinking of you." Jungkook pouted. "What if I get lonely? What if I get needy?"
"Then suffer. Goodnight." Jimin turned and went to his room, shutting the door and putting a hand against his chest, his heartbeat goi if crazy.
He nearly shook from fright, his hands anxiously getting his phone out. He tried to text Taehyung, but he kept erasing and retrying. He came to the conclusion that no matter what he said...no one would believe him. Not on Halloween night. Not on their particular night.
He sat on his bed and exhaled. He didn't know who to call, what to say, or how to say it. All he knew was that this was a bad situation to be in.
____
Jimin woke up from his alarm, hearing a groan from someone else. Jimin quickly took note of Jungkook's hand up his shirt as he turned off his alarm, then tried to get his hand out.
"Jungkook! Get out of my bed!" Jimin pushed Jungkook away, gaining a whine from him.
"Can't. I gotta be near you to fuckin' function right. The further away the needier I get." He grabbed Jimin's waist, pressing the two together. He started to mouth at Jimin's neck.
Jimin shivered. "S-stop it! I have- I have to go to work."
"Aw shit. You have a job?"
"How else would I be able to survive?" Jimin tried to get up again, but Jungkook kept him down.
"Noooo, don't leave." He started to rub against him, making Jimin blush before trying to get out of his grip again.
"Stop it! Stop! I need to get up and go to work. We can- we can-" Jimin whimpered as the demon kept kissing his neck, and pressing against his ass. His hand was still on his chest as well.
"We can do what?"
"We can talk about the ritual layer! A-after work. I'll- I'll properly talk to you."
Jungkook whined. "After work? You're gunna leave me alone all day?"
"You'll- you'll be fine. I have an eight hour shift. You can survive eight hours."
"I can't go with?"
"Absolutely not."
Jungkook tried to hold him closer, but Jimin snaked out of it, falling onto the floor. Jungkook immediately sat up. "Are you okay?"
"No! No I'm not. This is- this is all insane! I don't know why you're here, or why this all happened, but I should've woken up by now." Jimin felt scared again.
Jungkook crossed his legs. "I explained it all to you already. I'm yours if you claim me. You've got a month to do so."
Jimin shook his head. "This is all crazy."
"D'ya have that book? Maybe I can explain things better with it."
"...I don't. But I can get it."
"Then...I'll wait for you to return." Jungkook nodded with a small smile. "Right here. But hurry home, cause I'll get bored."
"Get out of my bed."
"Our bed."
"No, it's my bed." Jimin stood up, walking carefully to his closet. "...watch TV all day, I don't care, but don't stay in my bed when I'm gone."
"Aww, why not? It smells like you." He gave a cheeky smile.
"If I come back and you're still here, I'm going to let you die." Jimin glared at him, getting his clothes and going to the bathroom. He didn't want Jungkook to watch him change.
He was lost in thought about what was happening as he got himself ready for work. What was he supposed to do? He didn't know anything about demons, or anything of the sort. He was a simple man, who also happened to take a liking to languages.
He put on his clothes, a nice suit he could move around in, before leaving the bathroom.
"Oh wow Jimin! You look good." Jungkook smiled at him, still sitting on his bed, legs crossed.
"Off my bed by the time I'm back." Jimin pointed a finger at him before leaving. It was early, but hell, when you're a fashion designer, you had to get used to hectic hours. He stopped, and turned before he left. He went back to Jungkook, who was still sitting there. "Can I take a picture of you?"
Jungkook nodded. "Sure thing love. If you need a reminder of me while you're away." He smiled a little for a picture.
Jimin took it and nodded. "Thanks."
Jungkook smiled wider. "No problem. Come home soon."
"Out of my bed." Jimin pointed another finger at him, then left for real. He texted Taehyung as he left.
When he arrived to his job, the sun was just about coming up. He went inside, meeting up with Taehyung for a brief second before the two readied up their workshops.
They sat across each other at their tables. "...so...you wanna talk about it?" Taehyung started to sketch more ideas.
Jimin did the same, glancing up at their materials every once in a while. "...so...the cat we found..."
"You sent me the picture."
"Yeah. He's uh, his name is Jungkook, and he's a demon that we summoned. Well...that I summoned. Apparently. So I need that book back so I can find a way to send him back."
"...and this isn't a fucking joke?"
Jimin shook his head. "It's not a joke. I thought it was too but- but now I need to get rid of him. He's in my house."
"Oh shit dude. I...I didn't think it was legit." Taehyung grimaced. "Let's not tell the others. I'll bring you the book after work, okay? I'll drop by and see if I can stay for the time being."
Jimin nodded, then thought about it. "I um, well, you see..." he felt embarrassed by the situation. "He might be a little touchy."
"...what's that mean?"
Jimin sighed. "So we may or may not have summoned one of the seven deadly sins in the form of a minor demon."
"Okay I did not read the book at all." Taehyung tried to justify himself.
"It happened, and I have to deal with it. Anyways, I got unlucky and turns out he's a lust demon. So when I get home he's going to be extremely touchy. He..." Jimin shook his head. Taehyung was the only person he'd be able to say any of this to. "He slept in my bed last night, and asked to come to work with me. I don't think...I don't know what he's like when he's left alone for a long time."
"...I'll hurry with the book then. Maybe I can get it on my lunch break."
Jimin laughed. "No way. You know how this job is. No breaks, no relaxation."
"Maybe I can sneak away early. Get you that book quicker. I don't really know how to act about all of this."
"Me neither." Jimin sighed. "Why'd I have to do it right? Why is there a real ass summoning book in a public library?" Jimin complained, sketching his ideas down. He got up and went to their materials. Some other people were starting to show up now.
"I don't know. I really wanted this to be a joke. Just a little Halloween scare. But this..." Taehyung shook his head. "At least we're still in autumn season. These colors will go great with my designs."
Jimin nodded. "Should be good. I'm scared for winter fashion season. Winter fashion week is my least favorite."
"It's hectic as fuck. Spring though..." Taehyung shook his head.
"My conclusion is that every fashion week is hectic."
____
Jimin and Taehyung drove to Jimin's house. "God I'm exhausted but I have to go through this." Jimin opened his door, letting Taehyung inside. They went to his living room, Jimin looking around. "Alright, I guess...the living room would be better. Lemme...go get him..."
Taehyung stayed, getting the book out and trying to find their page, as Jimin went to his room.
"Jungkook?..." Jimin opened his door slowly, peaking his head in.
"Jimin!" Jungkook sounded excited, putting Jimin's clothes back in his closet. "You're back!" He nearly leaped at Jimin, but Jimin put his hands out.
"Woah there! Hold on, hold on. I have a guest here-"
"That's fine!" Jungkook smiled and crowded him again the wall, getting his knee in between Jimin's legs. He started kissing at his neck. "Missed you..."
Jimin had his hands pressed against Jungkook's chest. "I-I brought a guest. Can we please- please go great him?"
"But you're here with me, and that's what matters. So come on, let's finish the ritual." Jungkook pulled Jimin's shirt up, untucking it.
"I have a guest!" Jimin blushed. "So come o-on. Let's go." Jimin tried to push him away, but Jungkook's didn't budge. "Jungkook."
"Keep saying my name." Jungkook bit his neck, making Jimin's gasp.
"Stop that!"
"But you look so good in a suit. Didn't know you wore such pretty things either."
"You went through my closet?!" Jimin pushed again, and Jungkook finally budged.
"W-well yeah...I got bored." He looked slightly apologetic.
Jimin snatched his wrist and dragged him to the living room, gaining a small protest.
Taehyung looked up from his position on the floor. "Oh shit you good?"
"I'm fine." Jimin tried to make himself look less disheveled, but Jungkook kept trying to undue his clothes. "Stop it." Jimin slapped his hands away, pushing him onto the couch. He stayed standing by Taehyung.
Taehyung took a look at Jungkook, absolutely dumbfounded.
Jungkook sat back on the couch, displaying himself. His arms went on the back of the couch, and he leaned back, legs open. "So, what's the problem? Am I here to be interrogated? If so will you sit on my lap?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow at Jimin. "That would really help me."
"No." Jimin shook his head, looking down at the book. "Let's find a way to send you home. That way we'll all forget about this and move on like nothing ever happened." Jimin sighed. "I need a drink." He went to his kitchen, pouring himself a glass of wine, and came back with a cold drink for Taehyung.
He took a seat next to Taehyung.
"Okay...so you want me to go home? Then lemme explain that I can't." Jungkook smiled a little. "I'm all yours Jimin."
"Jesus christ." Jimin drank. "There has to be a way. This is all ridiculous."
"Will you at least take a look at it?" Taehyung offered Jungkook the book.
"Sure." Jungkook sat up and leaned forward, taking the book and throwing it to the side. "I know my own rules. I either imprint on the one who summoned me or I die. When I die, I reincarnate, but it's a long process and kinda sucky, so I'd rather not do that again."
"Hey, that's a library book." Taehyung went to pick it up.
"So...I either let you die or?..."
"Or I'm yours forever. It's pretty easy to figure out."
Jimin cursed. He didn't really want to be a murderer, but then again, is killing a demon murder?
"I don't want you."
"You will eventually. I'm literally your ideal person, the point is that you won't be able to resist me."
"How am I supposed to have an ideal type when I don't even have an ideal gender I like?" Jimin shook his head.
"You tell me. It's magic love, I don't get to pick and choose." Jungkook smiled at Jimin. "So can we get to it? I'd like to seal the deal."
"No." Jimin shook his head and turned away from Jungkook, who was leaning towards him. He drank more. "I'm not going to do that."
"Do what?" Taehyung came back, setting the book down.
"Fuck him." Jungkook smiled, not taking his eyes off of Jimin. "Or the other way around, whichever he prefers. Then I'll be able to not worry about the whole death thing."
"Jimin...you didn't tell me about that part."
"It's ridiculous." Jimin kept looking away. "It's all absolutely ridiculous. None of this is real, I must've died and I'm in purgatory."
"Naw love, this is real alright." Jungkook grinned. "Can I kiss you now? I've been waiting all day Jimin." Jungkook sounded exasperated.
"No." Jimin sighed. "I'm sure there's another way to get you home."
"You're speaking like I'm lost. But I'm not." Jungkook got off of the couch and moved towards Jimin.
"Oh no you don't." Jimin drank the rest of his wine and set his glass on the coffee table, moving away from Jungkook. Taehyung kept looking through the book.
"Maybe we can send him back by reversing it?"
"No no, stop looking to get rid of me." Jungkook got up and walked towards Jimin.
Jimin got up and moved away from him. "I want to. You shouldn't be my problem."
"I'm not a problem, I'm just a demon for you. I'm all for you honey~" Jungkook chased Jimin around the living room.
"I don't consent to this." Jimin angrily walked around his couch, Taehyung flipping through some pages.
"But sweetheart, I'm all for you!" Jungkook dramatically whined, grabbing Jimin's wrist, twisting it behind his back and bending him over the couch. Jungkook leaned over him, mouthing at his ear. "Wouldn't you like that?"
"Let go of me!" Jimin wriggled, trying to get loose, but only made the situation worse. His free hand held onto the back of the couch to try and push up.
"Mmmm, I don't think so. You're one hell of a specimen." Jungkook kissed the back of his neck. "And this suit is just dying to get off of you."
"I said let go of me!" Jimin tried to get his wrist free, but he failed, losing his balance with his free hand and ending up leaning forward more.
"Sorry to uh, disturb you two, but I wanna squeeze some words in." Taehyung barely gave them a glance. "I think we can reverse it. But it's gotta be on another full moon, so...next month. Basically the due date for his uh, death or whatever."
Jungkook stopped his teasing. "...can you read Latin?"
"I translated it a bit further. I'm guessing I'm right?"
"Throw that book away. It's old and incorrect." Jungkook seemed more serious now, this being the first time he ever acknowledged Taehyung. "Don't read too far into that. The people who summoned me the first time weren't exactly the most academic."
"So we can get rid of you?" Jimin was exasperated, unable to get up. Jungkook still had him pinned over the back of the couch.
"Not necessarily." Jungkook glared at Taehyung. "It isn't as simple as you're saying. Giving me back requires something. Since I'm latched onto Jimin...and living off his lust...to make me go away, I'd either take him with me or he'd have to give up all lustful desires. He'd never feel it again."
Taehyung nodded his head. "Oh. Well...that's something. You're latched onto him?"
"Like a parasite." Jungkook grinned before kissing at Jimin's neck again. He rubbed against his ass at the same time. "Gotta feed myself, no?"
"This is harassment!" Jimin cried out, this time trying to kick Jungkook.
"D'ya wanna give in to your desires or give up your desires?" Jungkook kept at it, his free hand trying to get Jimin's clothes off.
"You really have no shame." Taehyung felt embarrassed for being here, but was getting fed up. "H-how about a compromise?"
"What could you possibly offer me? If your answer is something to do with bringing me somewhere where a lot of lust exists...it won't work. It's Jimin and Jimin only." Jungkook glanced at Taehyung through his hair, before going back to marking Jimin's neck.
"S-stop it! Let me go!" Jimin tried to get up, but he couldn't, not with Jungkook's entire weight on him.
"I live off you. I gotta keep it coming otherwise I'll be begging for it."
Taehyung decided this was enough. He got up and went around, grabbing Jungkook's collar and pulling him back.
"Ack!" Jungkook wasn't expecting that, and was thrown off balance. Jimin immediately got up and moved away from Jungkook.
"Did he do this shit to you before too?" Taehyung glared at Jungkook.
Jimin nodded.
"I don't care that you're a demon. As fucking insane as that sounds. But I think I've got a clear idea of what you can and can't do and I'm drawing the line at whatever that was." Taehyung shook his head. "Jimin, stay the night at my place."
"Oh thank god."
"What?! But I need him!" Jungkook slapped Taehyung hand off of him, trying to get next to Jimin again.
Jimin moved behind Taehyung, making sure he was in the middle. "No. You're...a demon. You're a leech. You should stay away from him. Come on...let's go to my house." Taehyung slowly backed up to the door.
"Jimin, please, I need you." Jungkook was serious. "You were gone so long today, I didn't know what to do when I saw you again. Please."
Jimin shook his head. "This is all ridiculous. You shouldn't exist."
"But I do, and I need you."
Jimin shook his head again. "No. I need a good nights sleep without you. You...can stay here for a month. And then on the full moon we can send you back."
Jungkook seemed to get a little angry. "I don't get it. Why are you resisting me? I'm literally everything you want."
"The only thing I want to is to get enough credit for my work so I can start my own business." Jimin exhaled. "Come on Taehyung...we've got a busy day tomorrow too."
"Don't- don't actually leave..." Jungkook took a step forward, and then stopped. "I can be an animal instead. But- but if I'm away from you it gets worse."
"I don't trust you. Not at all." Jimin left, Taehyung trailing behind him.
Jungkook exhaled, looking over at the book on the table. "You are a son of a bitch. How dare you become readable."
He was going to have to think of something else to work.
____
Jungkook had trailed the car, sitting on the porch as a cat for the entire night. Being too far away from Jimin was literally killing him. He closed his eyes, waiting for them to come out.
"Ah!" Jimin jumped backwards as he opened the door.
"Dear god." Taehyung groaned.
"I told you I need to be close." Jungkook walked in between Jimin's legs, letting his tail wrap around. "I don't exactly get a choice in the matter."
Jimin carefully stepped over him and looked at Taehyung. "...what other animals can you turn into?"
"Whatever you'd like. As long as it's small."
"Can you be a snake? I think I could carry a snake inside, that's a normal texture." Jimin sighed. "Just don't do anything- do- do you need to eat?"
"Nope."
"Then you'll be fine in my bag?" Jimin grabbed Jungkook by the scruff, heading to Taehyung car.
"Hey, least you could do is pick me up with dignity. I'd be happy to stay in your clothes instead of your bag."
"So a bag will do." They got into Taehyung's car. Jimin set Jungkook on his lap. "Can you be a snake? Snakeskin isn't the weirdest texture I've worked with." Jimin mumbled.
"Mmmm....I can. Give me a second." Jungkook smiled at Jimin first, taking a look at what he was wearing. It was definitely his own clothes, so he probably had a stash at Taehyung's house. He exhaled and morphed into a small, black snake. "Better?"
"Better. In you go." Jimin opened his bag, and Jungkook went inside.
"Perhaps I can stay in your sleeve at some point?"
"No."
Taehyung gave a heavy sigh. "I'm still bewildered."
"Oh you are? Imagine if this was your situation."
"Technically it is. It's my fault...after all..." Taehyung grimaced. "I don't wanna tell Namjoon hyung."
"Don't. If anyone it would be Yoongi hyung."
"Aish, but then he'll tell Hoseok hyung, and then Hoseok hyung will tell Jin hyung and then he'll tell Namjoon hyung so no."
Jimin sighed. "You're right. Then let's just keep this up. One month."
"You know I'm right here."
Jimin looked into his bag. "I'm going to be clear with you. I will endure a month of this so that you can go back."
"Mmmmmm...I wouldn't be so sure of that." Jungkook hissed.
"What do you mean?"
"You left the book. So it's properly hidden now. So either we complete the ritual or I die." Jungkook hissed a laugh.
"You what?!" Jimin exhaled his breath. "Why do you want this?"
"If I go back without finishing what I was called to do, I'd be a joke. And I'm attracted to you, so I have to say, I'd like to stay."
Jimin sighed. "Then I'm going to need to find that book, huh."
"Yep." Jungkook curled up inside Jimin's bag. "Tell me when we're home. I'll try my best not to distract you."
"How considerate." Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"I'll try."
Taehyung pulled into their parking garage, the two getting out and heading to work. It was godawful early, but by now they were used to it.
"How's your new design coming along?" Jimin set his bag in one of his desk drawers, leaving it opened just a smidge.
"Oddly. The shape is wrong. And I know how to fix it but boss said something about liking the shape so I dunno what to do. It's a box, there's nothing that'll help it pop out except a belt but then it isn't a good piece by itself and what's the point of that? No ones going to look at a shirt and immediately think it's going to look good with a jacket, they think the shirt is boring."
Jimin laughed. "So you're still stingy about it I see."
"I am!" Taehyung laughed.
"Well, mines going well." Jimin smiled. "And I'll put yours to shame."
"I'll challenge you to that."
"You've got a pretty laugh Jimin." Jungkook hissed out.
Jimin shook his head. "Shush. No compliments."
"Awww." Jungkook sighed. "But I'm bored and you're here."
"Doesn't mean a thing. Taehyung, how close are we to our goal?"
"Mmm...we've got a fourth left money wise, but we don't have a place to open or really a name for ourselves."
Jimin sighed again. "But people buy our designs. I'm sick of not getting credit for our work."
"Don't I know it."
"Is there a problem here?" Jungkook asked quietly. "I can probably help."
"I'm sure you can't."
"People give into lust easily Jimin. I can do a lot of things with persuasion."
"I'm not cheating my way to achievement. I need to do this for real. Taehyung and I already agreed." Jimin then shushed him, as more people started to show up for work.
"Yeah...I wanna do it right." Taehyung smiled. "A little more saving up and then we're going to do it. I bet we could get Jin hyung to wear our clothes."
"He already does Taehyung."
"What?! He never told me that." Taehyung pouted as he kept working.
"Ha ha, he told me." Jimin smiled proudly. "Probably cause he wear my designs."
"Hobi hyung wears mine."
"He's kind."
"Hey, come on." Taehyung looked up with a grin. "We'll be able to do it."
"Yes we will." Jimin grinned back.
They were going to have their own fashion brand or they were going to die trying.
____
Taehyung dropped Jimin off at his house. "You sure you'll be okay?"
"Yeah. Gotta...find that damned book. I'll call if there's a problem." Jimin gave a glare to his bag. "But I'll be okay. He was with me all day so it'll be less, I'm hoping."
"Stay safe Jimin. I'm a phone call away."
"Got it." Jimin waved goodbye and went inside, setting his bag on the kitchen counter. He looked in his fridge.
"...can I come out now?"
"Sure." Jimin didn't feel like making anything. He saw Jungkook slither out, and stop to stare at Jimin. "What?"
"Did you eat today?"
"I had some lunch. But not much. Wanna tell me where you hid the book?"
"You should really eat..." Jungkook sounded somewhat concerned.
"I'm not hungry." Jimin left him on the counter, heading to take a shower. He closed the door behind him, lost in thought as he took a quick shower.
How did demons become demons? They fell from heaven, supposedly, which means Jungkook was once something else. He was once an angel, wasn't he...? Isn't that was that meant?
Jimin dried off and got dressed, going to his bed and onto his laptop. He might as well do some research about it. Maybe he could find some things that could be helpful.
He groaned as he saw emails he didn't want to answer, and unfinished designs left open for his own store.
Jimin started to research before wondering where Jungkook was. He was disgustingly clingy, so him not being next to him was concerning. His mystery was solved when Jungkook came into the room with a bowl, back in his original form. Jimin noticed his horns seemed a little less curved this time.
"I- I made you something to eat." He shyly walked up to Jimin, setting the bowl down beside him. "I...you should eat something before going to bed...it would be a shame to have you starve." Jungkook nodded and rubbed his hands together, then sat on the floor beside Jimin's bed.
Jimin looked at him in surprise. "...thank you. Um...can I ask you some questions?"
"Sure. As long as you eat."
"And you'll answer truthfully?"
Jungkook nodded. "As long as you eat."
Jimin squinted his eyes suspiciously at him. "Why do you want me to eat so badly?"
"Cause." Jungkook looked down. "Humans should care for themselves."
Jimin smiled a little. "How kind of you. Trying to get things for your own gain?"
"Huh? Oh no, I just- well- I told you I'm less desperate when I'm around you." Jungkook licked his lips and pursed them, still not looking at Jimin.
"Okay...?" Jimin cleared his throat and took the bowl. It was a mix of some random food from his fridge, but at least it was something. "What kind of religion are you from? We're you once...an angel?"
Jungkook looked up in surprise. "Have you read my book or not? You and Taehyung just keep pulling out answers left and right." He gave a small laugh. "Yeah." He became quiet, his smile gone. "Yeah. I was."
"...what happened?" Jimin seemed to see the sudden change in mood.
"Eat. You should eat." Jungkook looked up at him and nodded. He gave a strained smile before looking down again. He crossed his legs, looking at his hands.
"...will you tell me what happened?"
"Eat." Jungkook exhaled.
Jimin nodded and ate. Jungkook looked small at the moment, almost vulnerable, but he bounced back as if he hadn't been lost in thought.
"We become what we give in to I guess." Jungkook laughed. "So yeah." Jungkook nodded, still looking down. "You know, I wasn't always like this. So desperate. I never craved any of this before. But I got tricked and here I am. I'm even starting to forget what it was like before."
"That sounds so sad. What...what kind of angel were you before?"
Jungkook opened his mouth and closed it. He furrowed his eyebrows, then looked up at Jimin. "I don't remember."
Jimin felt sad for him. "Oh." He set down his bowl. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know this was a sensitive topic."
"No, it's okay I just...I haven't thought about it in a while. It surprised me. Please, eat though." Jungkook looked up at him with a smile. "You need nourishment."
"Jungkook...I am sorry for bringing it up. I just want to help you get back home."
Jungkook laughed. "Home? That shithole?" Jungkook grinned. "No. No, that isn't a good place to be. My "home" isn't somewhere I want to go back to. So being here with you...is much nicer."
"But...I don't..." Jimin sighed. "I don't want to be responsible for you."
"I'll be responsible for myself then. But I do...need to complete the ritual to exist here." Jungkook gave a small smile. "Even though you don't seem willing to. That's all I need."
"I can't do that. I don't do those kinds of things with people I don't care about." Jimin shook his head. Jungkook was definitely different today. He was kinder, less needy, less desperate. "Look. I can't finish the ritual. I'm not going to try and save you, I'm sorry. I've got my own goals to achieve. But I think we could find another option...if you help me find your book and actually help translate it. I'm sure we could put our heads together and find an answer."
"I don't want to go." Jungkook glared a little at Jimin. "I want to stay with you."
"And why's that?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.
"Because you're real." Jungkook sighed. "I...I don't...I've never had someone like you summon me before." He looked down again.
"What does that mean?" Jimin left the rest of his food. "Someone like me?" He gave a small smile. Hopefully Jungkook would be like this more often, then they could get somewhere.
"Yeah. I mean..." Jungkook seemed embarrassed. "I mean...you're not u-using me. And that's just- that's a whole new thing for me." Jungkook laughed a little.
"Really?"
Jungkook nodded. "What do you think people want when they summon a lust demon? A friend? No. So what I mean when I say I've never had someone like you summon me, I mean no one has ever said no to the conditions before. You're the first to do that, but then again, you're the first to do this by accident."
"I don't know why anyone would do such a thing." Jimin shook his head. "We were just trying to have a bit of fun. We didn't really mean this."
"Well, I'm here. And you've gotta decide something. I realize that I'm not exactly...something you'd like to be in company with, but I do live and breathe."
"But you don't eat or drink?"
"I don't have to. I mean, I can, but it doesn't really matter, I've kinda lost my tastebuds. I do enjoy sleeping though." Jungkook got over his flustered state. "Sleeping is a peaceful time."
"It is." Jimin smiled. "Why did you sleep in my bed the first night?"
"I needed to be by you. When I'm all alone it feels like a curse to be me. I- I've got some weird problems." Jungkook laughed a little. "It's not fun. So I had to be by you to ease myself. I'm sorry that you were uncomfortable. I'm getting used to you." Jungkook stood up. "Done eating?"
"Yeah. I was uncomfortable. You were...touchy." Jimin blushed a little. "I am done."
"I'll try to be better." Jungkook took his bowl and went to the kitchen.
Jimin felt a little confused by Jungkook. He seemed fine after spending the whole day with Jimin. He didn't even get cheeky with him. Absolutely nothing. If anything, he seemed relaxed and calm. Sleepy, even.
He looked back at his laptop. Maybe...he could help Jungkook.
Jungkook came back, sitting on the floor again. "What're you looking up?"
"Oh, um...just ways I might be able to help you. I'm thinking that if you can help me read your book, then we can get you somewhere."
"I don't want to go back though. If we finish our contract, I'll get to stay. And for once...I want to stay." Jungkook sighed. "You're someone worth living for."
Jimin blushed at that statement. "O-oh." He bit down his smile. "That's very kind of you."
"I saw you at work. And now I've heard your goals...you've got something. You've got something going for you. You know, people tend to call on me when they're desperate. But you're so...different." Jungkook smile at him. "I like that."
Jimin felt embarrassed by Jungkook's sudden authenticity. "I-I see. But I'm treating you like a normal person." Jimin frowned. "Did other people really treat you so badly?"
Jungkook nodded. "I'm a toy, really. I- I'm to be used. That's kinda the whole point." He looked away. "People want what they can't have, and they pick the closest thing. In much older times, well...their choices were a bit more extreme."
"I- that feels so bad. Why would anyone treat anyone badly?" Jimin looked at Jungkook with sympathy. "I know I don't know you well, but no one deserves bad treatment."
"You can know me. At least...start to." Jungkook smiled at him. "Would that be a problem?"
"As long as there aren't any ulterior motives. I'm still going to try and help you." Jimin put his laptop aside, sitting cross legged and looking at Jungkook. "Sound okay?"
"Sure. You already know my goals. But I'm barely now learning yours. Humans are so complicated, yet that's so much better than being simple." Jungkook kept his smile. "Don't you think?"
Jimin gave him an odd look. What was Jungkook doing? "Are you...are you trying to be flirtatious?"
"What can I say? You're quite attractive." Jungkook moved closer, leaning on Jimin's bed.
Jimin felt slightly flustered. "I think you've got a charm around you."
"It's almost like that's what I'm called to do. Do you feel charmed?" Jungkook gave a hopeful smile.
Jimin felt embarrassed. "N...I'm not usually this flustered. Don't use magic on me." Jimin watched Jungkook move closer.
"I'm actually not." Jungkook moved closer, then reached forward and took Jimin's hand. He half laid on the bed, still sitting on the floor. "I'm just your attraction."
Jimin nodded. "Yeah. But, well...you're still a demon." He gave a small laugh. "Sounds so ridiculous."
"Sad, but true." Jungkook smiled. "But I'm happy to just be here. At least my time here will be nice. Please keep bringing me to your job. I feel so much better when I'm close to you." Jungkook played with Jimin's hand.
"You're definitely more...composed." Jimin smiled back. "And that's appreciated."
"I'm sorry for all of that." Jungkook pouted, leaning on the bed more. "I feel so bad when I'm like that. I'm not really like that. I'm closer to this. I- I feel so bad when I'm like that, but that's my punishment." Jungkook sighed. "I'm sorry."
"So...if I keep you close, you'll be okay?"
"Yeah. As long as you don't get lustful. Then I'll get weird again. So if you stay neutral and close, I'll be okay." Jungkook slowly exhaled. "Probably."
Jimin gave a small smile and pulled his hand away from Jungkook. "Okay. This is going to happen for the rest of the month?"
"Yeah. Unless you want it to continue for less time. If you finish the deal, I'll be in a bit more control."
"You keep, changing between deal and ritual. What is it?" Jimin questioned him.
"Well...it is a ritual, and a deal. You did the ritual to summon me, and the ritual ends after a month, if you don't complete it. When you complete it, we make a pact. You get me, for the cost of your life. And by that, I mean...I can't leave." Jungkook quickly explained that part, not wanting to create any misinterpretations. "I'll be yours for as long as you live."
Jimin shook his head, absolutely dumbfounded and worried. "Can you please give me back the book? It's from the library, and I'm going to have to return it eventually. But I'd like to go over it with you first."
Jungkook sighed. "I'd rather die than go back, sorry. I've been stuck at home for centuries. It gets quite harsh to be me. Lust demons get the shortest end of the stick." Jungkook pouted, reaching out for Jimin's hand again, but Jimin moved away. Jungkook sighed again.
"I'm sorry things are bad for you. But I'm not going to inconvenience myself for your sake."
"Can I please hold you hand? I promise I'll stay on the floor."
Jimin gave him an odd look. "...you're like a child."
"Happens." Jungkook shrugged. "Please?" Jungkook reached his hand out, and Jimin gulped, looking at him. He looked cute like this, quiet and soft. His hair looked fluffy, and he had to admit that he was his ideal type.
"Fine." Jimin gave him his hand, and Jungkook sighed happily.
"You've got cute hands. They're so small and soft." Jungkook smiled. "Can I kiss your hand?"
"No." Jimin shook his head. "Don't overstep."
"But I like your hands..." Jungkook sounded sad. "I wasn't able to touch you all day, shouldn't I get some reward for being so good?"
Jimin sighed. "That isn't how this is going to work. You can't expect rewards for doing a normal thing."
"But it isn't normal." Jungkook looked confused. "Being normal all day isn't typical of me. I dunno what makes you different, but you are completely in control of yourself."
Jimin thought about it for a second. "So...my emotions reflect onto you?"
Jungkook nodded. "Mostly the sexual ones, but strong emotions too. But you kinda only have intense happiness and exhaustion as far as I can tell." He pouted. "It's quite confusing to me."
"I have all I need, of course I'm happy. If you understood the fashion industry...you'd understand why I'm exhausted all the time. I don't have time for much other emotions."
"But you could give in just a bit. To spoil me just a little." Jungkook smiled at him. "Don't you think that's a good compromise?"
Jimin stared at Jungkook. Would he get weird if he didn't let him kiss his hand? It was just his hand. And he was being better today. Maybe this fine. He could let Jungkook have this.
"Fine. But- but this is it, okay?" Jimin laid on his stomach, Jungkook still on the floor.
"Okay Jimin." Jungkook smiled. Since Jimin moved closer, he could move his hand to his lips easier. He kissed graciously. "Thank you. You're very kind."
"It's better than my neck. I could get in trouble if you ever left a mark." Jimin have a large sigh. "My boss would fire me on the spot."
"Ah...but you'd be so cute with your skin bruised with my marks. I'd let you mark me too." Jungkook hummed at the idea, kissing Jimin's hand again.
"No, no, that wouldn't be allowed. You see, at my job, there's a no dating policy. If you're already married it's okay, but we're not allowed to date because our boss thinks it changes our perspective of art and fashion. We make clothes to impress others. You know, make people feel like they need to wear our clothes. So if you marked me, I'd be fired on the spot."
Jungkook looked at him. "That's...some weird rules. Then how about somewhere more secret? I could mark you somewhere no one could see." Jungkook kissed his hand again.
Jimin laughed. "You don't get to mark me at all."
"Why not?" Jungkook pouted.
"Cause?" Jimin gave him a confused look. "We're not in that kind of relationship?"
"But you'll let me kiss your hand?"
Jimin blushed a little. "To...keep you at bay. That's all."
"Mmm...I dunno...I think you're giving in a little." Jungkook kissed his hand. "I like that a lot. Gives me energy. And I've been so tired today. D'ya think you could give me some more energy?" Jungkook looked at him hopefully.
"N-no I don't think that's a good idea." Jimin slightly blushed. "The type of energy you want isn't what I want to give you."
"Awww, but Jimin, you're so very cute today. I gave you so much information today."
"Just because you do something good, doesn't mean you deserve a reward for that." Jimin chided him. "You're not a little kid."
"But you're so cute, I wanna kiss you." Jungkook whined. "When can I kiss you?"
"You won't. You won't get to kiss me." Jimin shook his head.
"Awwwww." Jungkook pouted. "But your lips look so soft. I bet you'd love being kissed. Have you ever been kissed before?"
"We do not need to discuss my personal life." Jimin blushed a little. He didn't exactly want to get attached to Jungkook.
Jungkook laughed. "So you haven't before? Why don't we try it?" Jungkook stood up, and Jimin immediately retracted his hand, sitting up.
"Don't get on the bed." Jimin looked at him seriously, shaking his head. "You're not allowed on the bed."
"Aw, am I dog? I could be if you wanted that. Though, that's about as big as I can get to being animals." Jungkook sat on the edge of Jimin's bed. "Have you seriously never had your first kiss before? How old are you Jimin?"
Jimin watched him with warning eyes. "I'm 25."
"What! That's quite some time to be without a first kiss."
"Who said I haven't before?"
"Well, you haven't told me anything." Jungkook smiled. "I'll happily be your first."
Jimin shook his head, feeling embarrassed by Jungkook staring at him. It was always embarrassing to have someone attractive be interested in you. "I...I don't think we should."
"Have you had your first kiss?" Jungkook leaned back on his hands.
Jimin looked down, embarrassed. "...well, no. But that's okay I don't need to." Jimin rushed his words, knowing Jungkook might move closer.
"But it's so nice! Kissing is good for you. Helps you lose calories too. Though, you don't need to lose anymore. Still, there's health benefits." Jungkook smiled at him, leaning towards Jimin. "Wanna try?"
"N-no. You need to learn to take no as an answer." Jimin stood his ground.
"You don't sound so sure." Jungkook laughed a little. "It'll be fun. It's a nice way to pass the time."
"I don't need to pass the time, all I need is to sleep, get some more money, and then start my own business with Taehyung. That's all I need."
"Well...are you going to have the same rules at your business?"
"No. Dating isn't a problem for me."
"Then why can't we kiss now?"
"Jungkook. I said no."
"I can't convince you?" Jungkook pouted.
"No." Jimin stood his ground. "We're not going to do anything romantic. Nothing at all."
"Yet...you'll let me kiss your hand?"
"It's the smallest thing that we can do at a distance." Jimin sighed. "Can...I need to sleep now. I have work tomorrow morning, same as usual."
"Can I come?"
"Sure. As long as you're fine with how today went."
"It was nice. I felt so...tired though. That's new for me. Maybe that's why I want to kiss you so badly. I've been so tired." Jungkook moved a little closer.
"No." Jimin spoke sternly. "You don't get to do whatever you want."
"But Jimin~" Jungkook whined. "I wanna kiss you so badly."
"No Jungkook. You don't get to."
"Shucks." Jungkook sighed. "Maybe another time then. Where should I sleep tonight? Is the floor alright?"
Jimin tsk'd. "Well, I can make you a little bed on the floor, sure. If that'll help. Can't have you sleeping uncomfortably."
"Thank you Jimin." Jungkook smiled at him.
"...no problem." Jimin got off his bed and went to his closet, getting some blankets to put on the floor. "Thank you...for telling me things today."
"No problem. I don't mind sharing. No one...has really asked me things before. They don't usually care about me. You treat me like a human, actually."
"Well, I don't know how to treat you any other way."
Jungkook smiled to himself. "That's just...really kind."
"It's normal. That's the problem." Jungkook looked up at him when Jimin said that. He started to make his bed.
"I don't- what?" Jungkook crossed his legs, sitting on Jimin's bed.
"The way I'm treating you. It's normal. You must be so used to abuse that you look for it. But I'm not like that. I know everyone is worth a chance...sometimes they just need some time with someone kind."
Jungkook nodded. "I guess you're right. I dunno. I'm just used to people...yeah, I'm used to people using me." Jungkook looked at Jimin. "That's why I'm so interested in you. I'm hoping for something different."
"I'm definitely different. I'm not going to do anything bad to you."
Jungkook nodded again. "I hope...you can keep that promise."
"I will. Now come on, let's go to bed. Every day is a busy day for me." Jimin shooed him off his bed, the two getting in their beds.
"Then I'll make sure to make you food to bring to work. We can't have you going hungry." Jungkook exhaled.
"Thanks, but that's okay."
"No...it's not. You have to eat, doesn't matter if you're a fashion person. You humans like to be attractive, but not eating isn't healthy. I've seen a lot of people starve." Jungkook contemplated his life as he laid there. "I don't want bad things to happen to you."
"Bad things won't happen to me." Jimin soothed him. "I eat enough to keep my figure."
"I dunno. I feel like you don't eat enough. You were going to skip dinner. And I'm not sure if you ate at all during work."
"I did." Jimin sighed. "Look, I've gotta sleep. Please sleep as well."
"Goodnight...Jimin..." Jungkook smiled a little. He'd never really had anyone to say goodnight to.
____
Jimin woke up to Jungkook's hand up his shirt again. It was pressed against his chest, but this time not as desperate. He seemed to just be...peacefully sleeping.
Jungkook groaned at Jimin's alarm, as Jimin turned it off. "Mmmmmm."
"Jungkook...what did I say about being in my bed?"
"Made you breakfast...and climbed into bed..." Jungkook spoke quietly, his voice deep. Jimin felt embarrassed.
"S-still." Jimin tried to get Jungkook's hand out of his shirt. "Don't get in my bed."
"Mmm." Jungkook sighed. "I just wanted to-"
"Stop it."
"Mkay." Jungkook sounded sad, but retracted his hand. He moved his hand onto Jimin's shoulder. "I just wanna be near you."
"Jungkook, you can't keep doing this."
"But you just...you're so good...you're so kind and I wanna be near you." Jungkook rubbed his shoulder. "You're just so...attractive. You attract me."
"Jungkook...I need you to stop getting into my bed." Jimin brushed Jungkook's hand off and sat up. "You're invading my space. I gave you somewhere to sleep, and you keep doing these things."
"Did I disturb you?" Jungkook frowned. "I did it without thinking. God, I'm doing it again, I'm sorry." Jungkook turned his face into the pillow, nearly hiding. "I'm sorry."
"Jungkook, you can't keep doing this and then apologizing. That's not okay." Jimin sighed heavily. "Look, I'm trying my hardest, not to be freaked out, and scared about all of this. So please, don't give me reasons to be." Jimin looked at him, seeing a pout on his lips. "Okay?"
"Okay. Please...eat though..." Jungkook became quiet.
Jimin nodded. "Okay. I'll come get you when I'm ready to leave." Jimin got up and left Jungkook sulking.
He got dressed, got ready for work, and sat at his kitchen counter, eating the food Jungkook had made for him. He sighed heavily. Was this really going to keep happening for a month? He didn't like the direction this was going in. It felt bad. It felt...weird. Jungkook seemed to change daily. And Jimin didn't know if that was good or bad.
He ate a little, wondering how he could help Jungkook. He knew...Jimin knew there was a way to help him. He just had to understand some more things. He just needed Jungkook to help him understand.
There had to be a way to come to a compromise.
Jimin finished what he could, then went back to Jungkook. He was still sulking in his bed.
"Jungkook...ready to go?"
"Did you eat Jimin?"
"I ate some."
"Good." Jungkook sat up, giving Jimin a glance before looking down. "I'm still sorry. And I mean that." Jungkook started to shift into a snake.
"Thank you for the food." Jimin smiled thinly. He got his bag and opened it up for Jungkook to go inside. Jungkook went in and curled up. "Hey, um...would having some sort of clothing of mine in there be good for you?"
"Oh...that might be nice. Like a scarf or something?"
"I can fit a scarf." Jimin went to his closet, finding a small one and carefully placed it inside his bag. "Good?"
"Good."
The two went off to Jimin's work.
____
Jungkook was silent for the day, never commenting on Jimin's laugh or words like he did the first day. Whenever Jimin would peak into his bag, or have to get something from there, he saw Jungkook curled up asleep. He would pet him, to give him some sort of comfort, but going back to his day.
When he got home, he put Jungkook on his pillow, then went to take a shower.
It was odd, yet again, to see the demon change his personality in a day. When he got out of the shower, Jungkook was elsewhere. Jimin went to look for him, but decided to give him some time alone.
Jimin exhaled. Jungkook was probably just giving him space, probably in the living room or the kitchen. So he let him, going onto his laptop instead to work more on his own designs for his dream store. They were months away at this point. Only months. Jimin smiled at the idea.
He and Taehyung had been designing the inside on an art program they bought, trying to find the best aesthetic and layout they wanted.
Jimin kept working, happily, remembering why he loved what he did, ignoring the time passing. He was creative at night, able to make what he wanted instead of working for his actual job.
He was shocked when Jungkook came into his room, giving him only a sad glance before getting into his little bed on the floor.
Jimin wasn't exactly sure what to do about this. He didn't like when people were sad. "Jungkook...come on up here, I wanna show you something." Jimin spoke quietly, but invitingly. He wasn't upset anymore.
"No, you should probably sleep Jimin. Like you said, every day is a busy day for you."
"Come on, I made a spot for you." Jimin moved over, patting the bed. "I wanna show you something."
Jungkook sighed. "Let me be away from you."
"It's fine, come here." Jimin smiled a little. "You can hold my hand while I show you what I'm working on."
"...it's okay Jimin...you should sleep."
"Come up. Come on." Jimin patted the bed again, giving more of a demand than a request.
Jungkook slowly got up and sat on the edge of Jimin's bed.
"Closer. Come on." Jimin grabbed Jungkook's hand and pulled him closer, Jungkook finally budging. He sat next to Jimin, biting down a smile. "I wanna show you my work."
"You don't have to..."
"You shared so much about yourself last night...I might as well share some about me." Jimin gave him a small glance with a smile. "Besides, it's fun for me."
"Okay Jimin." Jungkook gave a small laugh, playing with Jimin's hand.
"I wanna show you my designs first, then our place. You've heard all about my goals, but well...I wanna know if you think it'll work." Jimin gave Jungkook a bigger smile. "Alright, so here's my closet at the moment." Jimin showed Jungkook a file of his ideas, ranging from full outfits to accessories. "I even make them myself."
"How're your hands so soft then? You must work a lot." Jungkook spoke softly, rubbing over Jimin's knuckles.
"I prick myself here and there, but nothing too bad. Everyone who works with needles ends up with a little experience." Jimin shrugged. "But yeah...when I get a day off of work, I like to make my own clothes here. I have a little workroom just for it." Jimin laughed. "It's a little pathetic to look at, but I don't have much alone time."
Jungkook brought Jimin's hand to his lips, kissing it softly. "I hope you haven't hurt yourself recently."
"Well, I can't say I remember. It could happen daily." Jungkook pouted, looking over Jimin's hand, as Jimin went back to showing his dream location. "There's this nice little spot a bit aways from here that me and Taehyung have been eyeing. If...we can get enough money this month, we'll go and take a look at it."
"Is that why you don't eat?" Jungkook looked at him, and Jimin could only see tiredness.
"O-oh. A bit, yeah. I pay for what I need, and that just so happens to be one meal a day. So I can save up for my dream." Jimin gave a smile.
"But you need fuel."
"I get enough. Besides...this is worth it." Jimin smiled wider. "Once I'm out of there, I'll eat all I want."
"I-" Jungkook gave a small sigh before smiling. "Good. You've got a lot going for you."
"Hey...I'm...I'm not mad at you." Jimin turned his attention to Jungkook. "Okay? I'm not mad. I just need you to understand yes and no. I don't mind if you want to hold my hand. I don't even mind if you need to be close." Jimin felt himself become embarrassed by Jungkook's doe eyes on him. "But your hand up my shirt is too much."
"What about on your shoulder or hip? I sleep better against you." Jungkook smiled, rubbing the back of Jimin's hand with his thumb. "Unless that's too much too?"
"Mmm...we...could try it." Jimin blushed, looking away. "B-but not tonight."
"Aww, why not?" Jungkook seemed to get some of his cheekiness back, most likely reenergizing from his solitude day. "You seem to think it's nice."
"N-no, it's for you, not for- not for me." Jimin closed his laptop and put it away, not looking at Jungkook. "So we can try it tomorrow night."
"Oh? Inviting me to bed now?" Jungkook moved closer to Jimin.
"N-not like that." Jimin pushed Jungkook away with his free hand, but Jungkook grabbed it. "Jungkook."
"Hm? You're letting me be close, what can I say? It gives me hope."
"Hope for what exactly?" Jimin kept feeling himself get more embarrassed. When he looked up, Jungkook was simply smiling, holding both his hands.
And he looked...healthier?
When Jimin had first taken in what Jungkook looked like, the best word to describe him was dark. His hair was long and dark. His eyes were dark. His clothes were dark. His horns were dark. Even his skin was dark, his neck had black...almost vines creeping around his skin. Jimin hadn't seen the rest of his skin before though. He always wore conservative clothes, and his hands were skin colored. Was it just his neck?
"You good there Jimin? Gotten used to me yet?"
"I'm so sorry." Jimin blushed and looked away. "I was just- just thinking too hard."
"Thinking about what?" Jungkook pressed closer, making Jimin even more embarrassed.
"Just- that- well, your neck is black, while- while your hands aren't. I was just thinking about that." Jimin blushed red, hearing Jungkook laugh.
"Here, lemme show you." Jungkook let go of Jimin's hands and took off his shirt. "Take a look. Come on Jimin. It's been on your mind?"
"It...has been..." Jimin's cheeks burned, but looked at him. "Oh god."
His chest was licked in vine like tendrils of black. Thinner than tentacles, but shaped like them, all over his chest and stomach, reaching lower as well. Not that Jimin was looking down, of course.
"D'ya want me to understand or are you just going to stare? I don't mind, of course." Jungkook smiled, his confidence back. "It's fine either way."
"P-please explain." Jimin tried not to look down. He definitely had a pack of abs, and Jimin was definitely not looking at them.
Jungkook laughed. "Okay Jimin. You're definitely paying attention to my words."
"I mean it. Please explain." Jimin pulled his eyes up to Jungkook's eyes.
"It's sin. So, every bad thing I do, forced or not, leaves a mark. Once I've got...a full body of sin...I'll be a full demon. I'm still half one. It even goes round my back and up my head."
"Is that why you cover up?" Jimin looked at him more seriously this time, ignoring the fact that he was shirtless.
"Kinda. But also cause you probably wouldn't want to see it." Jungkook looked away shyly.
"What? No, no, it's- that doesn't make you unattractive. I was just a little worried."
"Well, it starts in the horns, and goes down. The more bad things that happen to me...the more it spreads. The most powerful demons are fully black. Some even try and gain sins. I- I haven't. I've found out some things." Jungkook looked back at Jimin with a blush on his cheeks.
"Oh? What did you find out?"
"I think...when I do good things...or people do good things to me...they go away." Jungkook smiled, before bitting it away. "At least I think. It's hard to tell."
"Really? What would happen if you got rid of all of them?" Jimin looked at him in hope.
"I- I don't know. But you see, I don't know what things count as good or bad...so I don't know what kind of things make more and what things make less." Jungkook sighed. "And I've never been given the opportunity before."
"I'll give you the opportunity!" Jimin found the answer. "We can do it! I- I can help you do good things. We can figure it out before the end of the month."
"I dunno Jimin...I dunno if I could do it in a month. I've got a lot of sin on my back." Jungkook sighed. "I've got a lot. I gave in. I still give in." He turned around, hanging his head.
Jimin saw his entire back covered in the black tendrils. There were only a couple clear spots. Jimin touched his back carefully, pulling away immediately.
"It's okay, you can...you can touch." Jimin could hear his smile.
Jimin couldn't get a real sentence out. He cleared his throat and touched Jungkook's back. It felt like skin, but it was definitely scarred. He just couldn't see them. "I...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry you've been mistreated like this. I-" Jimin leaned closer and kissed his back. He felt where a scar was, and kissed it. He trailed his entire back, feeling compelled to make Jungkook feel okay.
"Jimin..." Jungkook's hands shook in his lap. "Jimin, what are you doing?"
"Making them feel better. My mom...always kissed away the bad feelings. Said it would make it feel better." Jimin continued, knowing that his underlying pains could ease from some kindness.
That's all people really needed. Some kindness to give them a chance to change for the better. It was up to them to change, but they need a reason to change. Jimin kept kissing his scars. "I wish everyone who hurt you could take it back. Everyone deals with problems. And you're right...they give in eventually. To something. But you can always get back. You can always make progress again."
"Jimin...Jimin you're- you're being too kind. I'm done for at this point. No demon I know of has ever recovered...has never been clean. That's the point, that's our- our punishment. To suffer and fully give in to what we first gave in to."
"Then you can be the first. Why...god would never give you a one way ticket to hell. There's multiple ways to do things, and multiple endings to every story. You can choose yours." Jimin smiled. "We all get to choose our own stories and directions and endings. As long as we don't give up."
"Jimin...you're...you're too hopeful."
"And you're too negative about it." Jimin kissed another one before hearing Jungkook sniff. "Oh Jungkook."
"I don't know- I don't know what I'm feeling." Jungkook wiped away his tears, his eyes wide. "Why am I crying?"
Jimin rubbed his back to try and ease him. "Maybe you feel appreciated? Or heard?"
Jungkook quickly turned around, eyes wide. "I- I was a love angel!" Jungkook wiped his eyes more. "Y-you're giving me love!"
Jimin was taken aback. "O-oh, was- was I? I was just- I don't know if I was- I would call it love-" Jimin felt embarrassed, putting his hands up in defense.
"I remembered though! I- it can't be anything else if I remembered. I don't- I...it's so vague, but it has to be right." Jungkook laughed and grabbed Jimin's hands in his excitement.
"L...love." Jimin nodded. "Love is the opposite of lust...isn't it?"
"It must be. Because I felt it. You could- you can- can you show me how love?" Jungkook looked at him with wide, doe eyes, desperate once again. He was still crying, but he let the tears fall.
"I- I don't know how to do that. But- but we can try. This is good. This is amazing." Jimin nodded with a smile. "We can work with this."
"I'll do anything Jimin. Anything to become good again." Jungkook smiled. "I promise you."
"Okay. I'll...I'll think of something. But you have to give me some time." Jimin smiled back. "Okay?"
"Of course." Jungkook let go of his hands. "I'll do anything."
Jimin wiped his cheeks, trying to clean up his tears. Jungkook leaned into his hands, closing his eyes.
"Can I sleep with you?" Jungkook spoke quietly. "I know you said tomorrow...but can we try tonight?"
Jimin sighed with a smile. "Sure. We can do that. As long as you stay respectful."
"I'll try my hardest. I dunno what I do in my sleep."
"Shoulder and hip. Okay?"
"Okay." Jungkook opened his eyes with a smile.
The two got into bed, and Jungkook kept his hand on Jimin's hip, for what Jimin could remember was the whole night.
____
Jimin woke up with Jungkook's hand on his shoulder, rubbing it up and down slowly. "Made you breakfast..." his voice was deep, and it made Jimin blush.
"T-thank you..."
"I'm getting pretty good at timing it." Jungkook kissed the back of Jimin's neck, moving to the juncture between his neck and shoulder.
Jimin giggled. "J-Jungkook that tickles."
"Cute." Jungkook continued, his hand thumbing over Jimin's shoulder, slowly pulling down his shirt to show more skin.
"Ah- Jungkook, keep it normal."
"Mmm...wanna kiss you though." Jungkook kissed his now exposed shoulder, making Jimin shiver.
"Remember...you're trying to be good."
"It's hard when you're so cute." Jungkook bit down on his shoulder, making Jimin gasp.
"Jungkook!"
"I mean it. You're just so cute in the mornings..." Jungkook mumbled, kissing the bite mark he made.
"Jungkook! You can't keep doing these things." Jimin sat up, looking at him. "I thought you wanted to be good. To- to get the marks off of you."
"I do...but you're right here." Jungkook whined, tugging on Jimin's sleeve to come back.
Jimin shook his head. "I think somethings trying to get to you. Cause you're...I know there's some good in you. You know it too!"
Jungkook shook his head. "But- but it'll take so long. I thought about it. I don't know if I have a month."
"We can do it! I'll talk to my friends. We'll figure something out. I'm sure we can show you how to love." Jimin pleaded. "And then you can go home."
"What if I go back down?" Jungkook sat up too, rubbing his eyes. "What if no matter what I do, I'll always end up the same?"
"That's doubt talking to you. And you can't doubt if you want to get better. So come on. Get up, and do better." Jimin got up and huffed. "I'm going to get you some clothes today after work. Now let's get ready for the day."
Jungkook smiled. "Okay."
Jimin got dressed, got ready for the day, then went out to the kitchen, asking Jungkook to come with him. "So, tonight...let's cook something together. Okay? I...I want to show you how to cook. You might like it. And then I'll show you how to make clothes. It'll be fun."
"O-okay."
"We can do this." Jimin smiled and ate his food. "Right?"
"Right. Right." Jungkook nodded and exhaled. "I can do it."
"We." Jimin corrected him, finishing what he could. "Now come along. We've got a rough day ahead of us."
____
"Jimin...do you really think having him meet everyone is a good idea?" Taehyung whispered to him as the two picked out clothes for Jungkook.
"Do you like white Jungkook?" Jimin whispered to Jungkook, ignoring Taehyung.
"Jimin, I mean it. Can he maybe not have horns?" Taehyung followed them around.
"I could." Jungkook spoke quietly. "But not for that long."
"This will be awkward."
"Jin hyung said he and Namjoon hyung could come over tomorrow." Jimin picked out some clothes. "So I'll tell them something. Maybe fake dating. That way they'll keep it deathly quiet."
"Really? Jimin...this is rough."
"I have a plan." Jimin looked at him seriously. "Okay? I told you what has to happen."
"I trust you but come on..." Taehyung groaned. "You're gunna lie to them? That's all I'm unsure of." Taehyung replaced an item in Jimin's shopping bag. "White would make him look less...disheveled. Do his hair nice too."
"I'm trying to make him look like a kind boy, you know? Like, soft, college boy."
"How are you gunna say you've met?"
"Mmm...obviously through fashion, since that's all I do."
"He could be a model? I could see that." Taehyung smiled.
"A model...gaining a platform. He doesn't have one yet, of course." Jimin smiled at Taehyung's additions. "Not even social media yet."
"And somehow he knows Latin." Taehyung laughed. "Just your type."
"Ah, they don't have to know. As long as Jungkook can keep it in his pants he'll be alright."
____
Jimin smiled happily as Jungkook took in what he was saying. "Sound okay?"
"Yeah. Um...am I trying to impress these people? You make it sound like they're...going to kill me." Jungkook looked at him in confusion.
Jimin laughed. "No! No, they're just protective. You see, I haven't dated before. So even though we aren't actually dating, you're going to have to fit the role." Jimin finished up their prep and put it in the oven. He leaned on the counter across from Jungkook. "Which is why we bought you the clothes."
"You...really shouldn't have. You need to save up, no?"
"Well, I also need to get you home. And it wasn't much. I knew the people anyways." Jimin smiled. "Connections gets you places. Besides...I need them to meet you. Namjoon and Jin hyung know about love much better than I do. The only people I've loved are friends and family, and I think you need more than that. My only condition for tomorrow night is to not get too touchy." Jimin raised his eyebrows at him. "Okay?"
"I'll try my hardest. As long as you're calm, I'll be calm." Jungkook nodded. "I promise."
"Good. I can work with that." Jimin smiled. "I can't wait to have Jin teach us a new recipe."
____
"So Jimin...you're going to be serious about this? He knows all your rules?" Jin waved a little hand with a smile curling onto his lips. "I mean, he is rather attractive. I can see how he wants to be a model." He smiled wider. "Can't you Namjoon?"
Namjoon nodded. "You haven't started yet?"
"N-not yet, no. I'm still...barely getting used to it here." Jungkook smiled weakly, feeling a little awkward. He was hidden quite well, wearing a white turtleneck, brown pants and suspenders to hide his marks, and a little bit of magic to hide his horns. It wouldn't last too long though.
"I'm honestly very surprised by you Jimin. You've been so keen on being by yourself, what uh, what changed that?" Namjoon asked shyly, not sure if he was overstepping.
"Well...I...haven't met anyone like Jungkook before." Jimin smiled at Jungkook. "I have to say I was charmed."
Jungkook laughed. "Yeah, I bet you've never met anyone like me. At least I'd hope not." Jungkook looked down at his plate with a silly grin.
Jin smiled. "I'm glad you've found someone Jimin. You seem to get lonely in this house of yours."
Jimin blushed a little, having not told Jungkook that before. "Yeah...it's a little big to be alone in. So it's nice that Jungkook's staying for the rest of the month."
"A whole month? How is hiding from workf feeling? You must be stressed. Eat more Jimin." Jin put more food on his plate.
"Oh gosh, I can't eat more, you know that Seokjin hyung. I actually...wanted to ask you guys some questions." Jimin set down his utensils. "What helped you two learn how to love?"
Namjoon widened his eyes at the question. "That's...a big question."
"Why do you ask?" Jin looked at him a little suspiciously.
"Well...I've never done this before." Jimin gave a small frown, playing his emotions up. "And I've only know how to love my friends and family. I want to make sure I'm learning how to love Jungkook correctly." Jimin gave them a smile afterwards, then gave Jungkook a little smile.
Jungkook was extremely focused on his food, eating slowly, but with joy. "This is really good. I haven't had this in- in a long time."
Seokjin smiled at him, knowing he wasn't paying attention to the conversation the others were having. "I'm glad you like it. Have you been pressuring Jimin to eat?"
Jungkook looked up with a happy smile, his doe eyes wide. "I make him breakfast every morning and dinner when I can. He really should eat more, but he eats what he can." Jungkook nodded then went back to his food.
Jin looked back at Jimin. "That's love. The care of another. Not...not putting them above yourself, but alongside yourself. They make breakfast, they think of you, and make you breakfast too. It's little things Jimin."
Namjoon nodded. "Sometimes it's just watching a movie together when you're both tired from work. Sometimes when one of you gets off early, you go and pick up the other for an ice cream date. Or sometimes you have a impromptu dance in the kitchen. Sometimes you make cookies at 3am because Seokjin had a nightmare and needed something nostalgic." Namjoon smiled at Seokjin. "It's little things. Little things you could do with a best friend, but...a little different."
Jimin smiled at the kindness. "Is it...it's like having a best friend but with what else? What makes it different?"
"Well...that's for you two to decide. You have to make it special. There aren't tips and tricks that aren't psychological ways to help you get someone's attention. It's not...free, exactly. It's work. And when you put the work into it, you see blooming results." Jin watched Jungkook eat happily, and Jimin be completely serious.
"There must be ways to get love passed through another."
"You have to give it. But, Jimin, this isn't a speedy thing. It's a garden. Sometimes the two of you have to weed it, take care of the problems. Other times you have to water, go out together to grow together. And then you get to sit back and relax together, until you have to weed and water again. Sometimes you plant something new. Sometimes you rearrange the garden gnomes. But it's still your sanctuary, and if you care for it...it'll care for you." Namjoon pulled out his analogy, making Jimin imagine it.
"Okay. Yeah. That makes sense. One more question. What...what changes from friendship...to loving someone?" Jimin pushed his bowl to Jungkook, who eyed him a little angrily before taking it and eating.
Jin laughed. "Jimin, there isn't a difference. Your lover should be your best friend. But you might want to do more intimate things with them. That you shouldn't feel for your best friend."
"I see..." Jimin blushed a little and nodded.
"Well, I am absolutely in love with your cooking Seokjin." Jungkook smiled at him, and Jimin laughed at him not knowing honorifics.
Seokjin raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Jimin leaned over and whispered in his ear. "Say hyung after his name, then he won't beat you."
Jungkook gave him a small confused smile before talking again. "Seokjin hyung?"
"Are you new in Korea?" Namjoon asked with a smile, seeing Seokjin roll his eyes.
"Very much so." Jungkook gave a weak smile. "This isn't my first language. Or my second. I've learned a lot in my time." Jungkook cleared his throat. "But the meal is very much appreciated, Seokjin hyung." Jungkook tried to weasel his way out of his slip up, talking about the food. "I haven't had spices like this in a long time."
Namjoon's interest was piqued though. "How many languages do you speak? I'm working on my fourth. Korean, English, Japanese, and hopefully Taiwanese soon. Plus more I'm working on but, you know."
"O-oh, wow that's a lot." Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to think. "Well...I uh...I know Korean now...I've learned...Greek I think...Latin..." Jungkook was counting on his fingers, trying to map in his head where he'd been summoned before. "R...Russian...and Germanian? No, German." Jungkook corrected himself. "Yeah. Uh, it's an odd list."
Namjoon was astounded. "Why those? And you want to become a model?"
"Jimin let's clean up." Jin and Jimin got up and cleared the table.
"W-well, I'm not sure, I just had an interest in them I guess. I was born in Rome, so Latin. And from there, I traveled a lot, settled in Germany for a while, and then here am I now." Jungkook made sure to say Germany instead of Germania. He was not in AD 900 anymore.
"That's so interesting. How old are you?"
"Oh- oh, I'm 2...23, haha I've almost completely forgotten." Jungkook blushed from embarrassment. He hated having to hide, and Jimin's second hand social anxiety was kicking in.
"You're so young to have traveled so much. You do look Korean though."
"Oh yeah, um, my parents were both Korean. Just...lived in Rome." Jungkook made a bullshit story. Whatever would work.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." Namjoon looked apologetic.
"Hm?"
"Did they pass?"
"Oh." Jungkook understood now. "Yeah. But that's okay. I've kept busy." Jungkook let his backstory be created by Namjoon. It was easier this way.
"Well, I hope you all are taking care of each other still."
"Y-yeah. Of course."
Jin and Jimin listened in a tiny bit, before Jin glanced at him.
"...he's a bit of an oddball."
"He's a sweetheart, really."
"How'd you...is he really taking care of you? Trustworthy? You've been asking an awful lot about love."
"I'm not sure how to love further than a friend. But I have to show him." Jimin exhaled. "I have to."
"You don't have to show him anything. If he's the one, it shouldn't feel like an uphill battle."
Jimin shook his head. Jin didn't get it. "I know, and it's not. I just- he needs to be shown that there's good in the world that's worth living to love. But I've only got a month to do that, then he'll have to leave."
"You can go slow. He'll be back. And you'll have time to think again. You're rushing in because you've never done this before. But you can go slow."
"But I can't. He'll be gone...for a long time after this month. I just want to show him that there's good in the world. He's been hurt a lot. And he's trusting. I just want him to be...be loved." Jimin looked and Seokjin. "I want him to feel safe."
"Then you'll do what you do." Seokjin smiled softly. "You'll love unconditionally because you're Park Jimin. You'll love him so hard that he'll forget what life was without your love. Heck...we all do. You're an angel Jimin. A pure blessing to this world, and he'll see that in no time."
Jimin smiled. Maybe he could be an angel for Jungkook.
____
Jimin woke up with Jungkook's hand on his shoulder, rubbing up and down. "Morning Jimin...I made you breakfast." He gave one kiss on the back of his neck before nuzzling into the crook of his neck. "Did you sleep well?"
Jimin groaned. "I don't wanna go to work."
"Did you drink too much with Jin? He left something on the counter last night." Jungkook mumbled, making sure not to kiss Jimin again.
"Probably." Jimin put a hand to his forehead and sighed. "I'll be fine."
Jungkook sat up slowly and moved Jimin's head into his lap. He massaged his scalp and forehead. "You've got some time to relax first."
"Mmm." Jimin felt slight discomfort from the pain, but it felt fairly nice after a minute. "You didn't have to..."
"I want to do good things for you. Like they said...love- love is in the little things." Jungkook smiled at him.
"How...did last night go for you?" Jimin closed his eyes, taking in the feeling. "I kinda...don't remember too much."
Jungkook exhaled shortly. "You don't? Well...me and Namjoon talked a lot. He tried to talk to me about my languages for a while...which was a little concerning at first but then it was fun." Jungkook smiled. "And...we danced for a while. You put on music and grabbed my hands and danced with me. Or, well, made me dance. You don't remember?"
"I'm sorry...I don't really remember." Jimin sighed. "I have to get ready. Thank you."
"Ah, alright." Jungkook let him go, and the two got out of bed. "I'll be in the kitchen for you."
Jimin nodded and got ready for his day, then went out to the kitchen to see Jungkook poking around on his phone. "What're you doing?"
"Music." Jungkook looked serious. "I want...to play music again."
"You could've asked." Jimin smiled and sat next to Jungkook, leaning over and starting music. "Did...you have fun last night?" Jimin started to eat.
"I did, actually. I was listening to everything they were saying and...it makes sense. Little things. It's all in the little things. I don't...remember much of being an angel. I really don't. But I remember...loving." Jungkook looked at Jimin. "And I can feel a lot of it in you."
"Are you sure it's love?" Jimin wondered aloud.
"I'm not sure. I don't really know the difference between love and lust, but I know that you're filled with good feelings."
"What is good to you?" Jimin finished what he could.
"I...I like kissing. And being near you. I...I've been good recently. And it's felt nice. It feels so...interesting." Jungkook smiled at him. "I like you a lot."
Jimin laughed a little. "How can you say that? You haven't even know me for a week yet."
"You don't need too much time to know. Men take a month or so. But I'm not exactly human." Jungkook smiled more. "I definitely like you a lot."
Jimin smiled back. "I couldn't say. I've never actually loved someone like you're asking me to."
"I'm not asking you to." Jungkook clarified. "I just...like you."
"You admire me because I treat you nicely." Jimin stood up with a thin smile. "Ready for work?"
"I like you because you're honest and you- you help me feel okay." Jungkook stood up too. "You really don't remember much, do you? Did you take your medicine?"
"I didn't. And I don't remember." Jimin sighed and went to get water, taking his medicine with it. "Is there something I don't remember that you do?"
Jungkook nodded. "You- you made my scars go away." Jungkook looked at him with hope.
Jimin looked at him with wide eyes. "What?"
"You- you kissed them away." Jungkook bit down his smile.
"W-what happened last night? No, wait, I don't have time for this." Jimin shook his head. "I need to head to work."
"Okay. Then let's talk in the car because this is important." Jungkook shifted and Jimin put him in his bag.
He set him in the passenger seat as he drove to work. "How did that happen? What did happen?"
"Last night, you- well, you were a tad drunk, so you told me to show you my scars again. And you- you kissed them again." Jungkook sounded embarrassed, but Jimin couldn't tell if he was.
"I did?"
"You did. And when I checked this morning after making you food, I couldn't see them anymore. I thought maybe I was going crazy, but it's true! My- my marks, they're- they're going away. Because of you!" Jungkook sounded excited, then laughed. "And that can only be from an act of love, right?"
Jimin blushed. "I...I can't say for sure."
"But I can." Jungkook huffed. "Why else would they be gone?"
"I don't know! This is all crazy anyways, it- it doesn't matter."
"It does Jimin. It matters a lot. I need you, I really do. If you can- can love me, then I'll be healed. I think you can save me." Jungkook looked up at him, Jimin focusing on the road. "I thought you knew that."
"I...I'm so sorry, I don't know if- this is quite a lot to ask of me." Jimin laughed nervously. "How can I do that?"
"Dunno. But you're doing it." Jungkook sounded pleased. "I need to take you on dates. Or, well, you take me on some. Then I can get used to this place. Apparently I have to use honorifics."
Jimin laughed. "Yes, you do. I'll see when I'm free, then I'll try and get you out of the house for a date. I'll try."
"No pressure Jimin. There's no pressure. Even if we just stay home, that's good too. I want to be with you."
"Okay. Then...we can...we can try." Jimin gave him a glance. "We can try something."
"Anything."
____
Jimin smiled happily as he got dressed. "Are you ready to go try new food?"
It was now the weekend, and Jungkook had been progressively more comfortable with Jimin. They'd watch movies at night together, sleep in the same bed, and now Jungkook had been intent on keeping his shirt off. He promised that it was simply so they could tell if his marks had gone down or not, but Jimin couldn't tell if he meant that or not.
"Sure. You sure I'll like this place?"
"Yeah. You like sweets, right?" Jimin glanced at Jungkook, ignoring his own growing blush. Of course he wasn't becoming interested in Jungkook. At least, he wouldn't admit that. Instead, he'd give him some love and hope it was enough.
"I do. I didn't know there was such nice things. Last time I was around I was in Greece, and well, it wasn't exactly a good easy time." Jungkook smiled at him. "Also, I can only go so long to use my magic to hide my horns. It's a curse." Jungkook put on a shirt, Jimin respectfully looking away.
He was seeming to get more and more attractive.
"I'm happy to show you nice things." Jimin looked down with a smile. "Especially if it's something simple."
"Do I look fine?" Jungkook blushed at Jimin.
"You look fine." Jimin pursed his lips.
"Just fine?" Jungkook walked over to Jimin, hugging his waist. "You look good too. You always do. You don't even have to try and you look amazing."
Jimin pushed against Jungkook's chest in an attempt to move him away. "H-hey, don't get cheeky."
"What? I'm just holding you close."
"B-but you're being forward. And remember, we're being good."
"Right." Jungkook grinned. "And I am being good. I'm being very good." Jungkook swayed them side to side. "Aren't I?"
"Y-you are." Jimin blushed, his hand still placed on Jungkook's chest.
"And you've been so very kind lately." Jungkook smiled down at him, putting their foreheads together. "Are you feeling any kinder?"
"I-I'm not going to kiss you." Jimin blushed further as Jungkook's doe eyes looked at him. "W-we aren't dating."
"Yet...we're going on a date today?" Jungkook laughed quietly. "I think you're warming up to me."
"I'm- Jungkook." Jimin became more flustered. "L-let's go to that date then."
"Ah, look at you, avoiding my words." Jungkook kissed him on the forehead. "I want to kiss you so badly."
"Hopefully this date doesn't mess you up."
"We'll be fine." Jungkook let him go with a sly grin. "Maybe you'll give me some special love."
"We're not giving in. We're not giving in."
"Ah, but just a kiss?"
"No." Jimin huffed and got his keys. "Now come on, let's go on our date."
Jimin took him to a frozen yogurt shop, knowing extremely well that he would have fun with the machines. Jimin got himself a smaller one, enjoying some of the toppings.
"Look at it! It's all swirly." Jungkook smiled happily with his bowl of frozen yogurt with a ridiculous amount of toppings. "Will it taste good?"
"It'll be cold." Jimin warned, eating his carefully.
"Mmm." Jungkook tried it carefully as well. "O-oh! I see." Jungkook smiled more as he ate, the toppings spilling over just a tad.
Jimin felt himself smile. His fondness for Jungkook was definitely growing, whether he liked it or not.
"Oh damn, this is- this is good. What is it?"
"Frozen yogurt. It's pretty popular. I'll have to get you some other sweets another time." Jimin bit down his smile.
"Another time, huh? You're looking forward to it, aren't you?" Jungkook leaned closer, watching Jimin blush. "You are, aren't you?"
"So what if I am?"
"Then I'm inclined to believe you're starting to like me." Jungkook smiled more.
"And what if I am? Isn't that your whole thing?" Jimin looked down, his confidence wavering.
"My whole thing is lust. You feeling any of that?"
"No. I don't- I don't think so. I don't usually." Jimin felt himself become more embarrassed.
"Then I'm inclined to believe...that you're maybe feeling something closer to love."
Jimin laughed. "Jungkook, it's been a week."
"Then I'll give you more time. Hell, I'd give you all the time in the world. But I only have a month." Jungkook ate more.
"I'm just trying to help. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less." Jimin looked up at him and blushed more. Jungkook didn't believe a word he was saying. "Come on, it's been one week." He rolled his eyes.
"I dunno~" Jungkook gave him a grin. "It looks like it's turning into something more."
Jimin shook his head. "It's not. You're just charming."
"And attractive. You can't forget the fact that I'm attractive. I'm made just for you."
"I...I know that." Jimin looked down again. "But still. It'll take more than a week. I'm just learning about you."
"Learn more. Ask questions. I'm more than willing to share."
"Are you?"
"Of course."
"Well then." Jimin cleared his throat. "What's your favorite color?"
Jungkook laughed. "Cute! I like most colors...but I like black and purple. I like wearing dark clothes it- it hides me."
"Yeah. That makes sense." Jimin smiled a little. "I hope...I hope this is a good month for you."
"It already is."
"Would you mind having my friends over again?"
"Same ones?"
"Different ones."
"I don't mind. But again, I can't exactly keep my horns hidden for too long. Last time was a tad bit too close."
"Sorry about that."
"It's okay. It's just...a curse." Jungkook laughed a little. "It's hard to hide my sins on purpose."
____
Jungkook desperately tried to hide his sins as he met Yoongi and Hoseok. He pulled up his turtleneck as they talked, feeling their curious eyes. "You're really dating now Jimin? He's so young!"
"Two years isn't so much." Jimin called over to them as he finished making dessert, putting it in the oven. He went over and leaned on the counter, the other three at the table. "Besides, he's a good guy. Otherwise I wouldn't waste my time."
"I'm just really surprised. Look at him." Hoseok realized how bad that sounded, wincing. "Not in a mean way, I just mean that you're so...young. You've got baby energy. What do you do?"
Jungkook felt embarrassed by their presence. Hoseok was charming and attractive, and Yoongi was quiet, but soft. Together they were intelligent. "I'm...trying to be a model. But I haven't started yet. I'm still a little...awkward around the edges." Jungkook laughed a little bit but pulled his turtleneck up again. He felt nervous this time.
"Oh! I can see that. We could help out, if you'd like, sometimes I work in photo shoots."
"Oh no no, I'm okay. I think I might be a bit ahead of myself."
"I can see it." Yoongi nodded. "You could make for one hell of a model. You just look a little soft at the moment."
"You think?" Jungkook smiled a little. "I dunno. I've been thinking about it and I'm thinking I should stop trying."
"I think you're going to do fine. Sure you gotta get started, but you'll get it. Especially with the help of Jimin. He knows what clothes would look good on you." Yoongi gave him reassurance.
"Oh! We should do a little fashion show. I'm certain that if Jimin's dating you you have a good sense of style."
"Oh no, not tonight." Jungkook shook his head with an embarrassed smile. "Jimin hasn't given me any pointers yet."
"What? I bought you those clothes." Jimin smiled, watching the three interact.
"I agreed to them." Jungkook countered. "It wasn't a gift."
"Oh really?"
"Really." Jungkook grinned at Jimin. "Besides, the point is I'm not changing my clothes."
"Aww, I'm sure we could help you model."
"Ah, I'm sure I'll find my confidence again, but I didn't pack too many clothes with me, so it really wouldn't be a big show."
"You're staying the whole month?"
"Yeah. All of November. Until I can get a grasp on this place. I'm still...figuring out Korean." Jungkook laughed a little with an embarrassed blush.
"It's already so good!" Hoseok looked shocked. "Are you not Korean? I swear you were."
"W-well, I'm- my parents were both Korean, but we lived in Rome when I grew up."
"Woah, that's- that's pretty wild. People eat that shit up, you'll be a great model." Yoongi looked impressed, and Jungkook couldn't help but feel good.
"T-thank you." Jungkook looked down. "Y-you two are very kind."
"We try. There's a lot of shit in the world, and if we can make it any better for anyone...we'll do it. Even if we only make them feel better for a minute." Hoseok smiled at Jimin. "Ain't that right Jimin?"
"Oh yeah. I've always lived up to that too."
"You guys like to do good just to do good?"
"Of course. Helping people is what makes the world a better place."
Jungkook nodded. "You're right." He thought for a second. "So...if you were treated badly in the past by nearly everyone you'd come across...would you still want to help people? Even if they could hurt you?"
Yoongi softened his gaze. "Yes. People who are troubled need the most kindness. Sometimes, you can't be there to help them all the way, but you can at least help them on their way. No one deserves bad treatment."
"That makes sense." Jungkook nodded. "I wanna be kind too."
"You should be. Kindness helps the world go round." Hoseok smiled. "Like Yoongi said. Gotta help people on their way."
Jimin smiled, but felt a little bad. That's what he was doing for Jungkook. Helping him on his way.
He got the dessert out of the oven and cut it, putting the pieces on plates and bringing it to the table.
"This looks amazing Jimin." Jungkook happily took the sweets.
"You're just still hungry." Jimin ruffled Jungkook's hair. "There's more food in the fridge if you need it."
"I'm honestly still surprised you're dating Jimin. But I'm happy. You look happy." Hoseok smiled enthusiastically.
"I am. I'm very happy." He glanced at Jungkook who was looking right back at him. "It's definitely been a long time since I've felt this happy."
____
Jimin woke up with Jungkook's hand on his hip, rubbing softly. It was the end of the second week, leaving only two left. And Jungkook was inevitably still charming. After Yoongi and Hoseok's visit, he'd gotten even more cheery about the situation. But Jimin still felt something in the pit of his stomach, and it wasn't a good feeling. He felt...shame, almost. Or perhaps it was just sadness.
His goal to make sure Jungkook got home was starting to become selfish. He wanted Jungkook to stay. Their routine was comfortable. Their dates were fun, and Jimin was learning more and more about Jungkook and he liked it. He liked having Jungkook wake up beside him, just to make him feel good for existing. He kept being more and more domestic, ignoring his lust entirely just for Jimin.
Jungkook had found hope in him, and Jimin had found hope in himself from that.
Maybe he could change someone's fate. Maybe...he could love. And maybe he could teach someone else how to love.
"Jimin...sleep good? I forgot to make you breakfast..."
"It's the weekend Jungkook. We can sleep in." Jimin rolled over and faced Jungkook, nuzzling into his chest. "And by god do I need it."
Jungkook held him. "You work too much." Jungkook rubbed his back, to give any amount of comfort.
"I have to. I don't get a choice. If I want to achieve my goal...then I don't have time to be weak."
"There's always time to rest."
"You do make me rest."
"Good. I'm glad...I'm glad I'm helping." Jungkook smiled and moved closer. "You should sleep more."
"Mm...don't let me sleep too much longer. I have to get started on the day."
"Sure thing Jimin." Jungkook smiled, knowing he wasn't going to wake him up. He deserved sleep.
"Psh. I mean it." Jimin mumbled as he started to doze off. "Wake me up in like...an hour."
"I'll let you sleep Jimin. You need it." Jungkook kissed the top of his head. "So sleep."
"Mmm." Jimin dozed off, snuggling up to Jungkook.
Jungkook let him sleep, never really falling asleep himself.
____
When Jimin did wake up, Jungkook was not in the bed. He sat up groggily, his eyes blurry, looking for Jungkook. He blinked a lot before getting up, putting a sweater on, and going to the kitchen. He saw Jungkook cooking there, still shirtless from sleep.
"Jungkook, do you get cold?"
"Hm? Oh no. I'm alright. Did you sleep well?" Jungkook looked up at Jimin, who rubbed his eyes.
"I slept good. You took all the warmth when you left."
"Oh, I'm sorry. But I had to get up."
"How come?"
"...gotta make you breakfast, don't I?"
"Mmm...not necessarily." Jimin sat on the counter next to Jungkook's cooking. "We could always skip breakfast."
"Oh no, then you won't eat till lunch. Or dinner! And that's unacceptable."
Jimin giggled. "It's fine." He looked at Jungkook before looking away with a small blush. "I'd be fine."
"Oh no no, you seem much happier now that you've got food in your stomach on the daily. You were so tired before."
Jimin let out a small laugh. "No...it's not the food that's made me happier."
Jungkook perked up at that, turning off the burner and standing in front of Jimin. "Oh?" He put his hands on either side of Jimin, leaning closer. "Have I really made you feel happier?"
Jimin blushed more and looked to the side. "I- Jungkook, come on, you'll burn the food."
"Mmm, no I won't. Besides, you just said the food wasn't the happiness." Jungkook moved his hands to Jimin's waist, moving him closer. He kept leaning forward, Jimin leaning back.
"You- okay yes, you've made me happier. But that's- of course you did. I was alone."
"Of course. Except that I haven't done anything spectacular. So how exactly how is it that I've made you happier?"
"B-because, I'm no longer alone. Not that I was before...but you're...welcoming. I dunno, you've just been so willing to exist with me. And that's rare."
"Well...it's you. You're a beacon of hope. My beacon of hope. Of course I'm willing to exist with you...you compel me to live. And try. I want to be clean. And I'm getting closer every day." Jungkook smiled. "So I'm glad I make you happy."
Jimin nodded, finally looking at Jungkook. His doe eyes had become a lighter shade of brown, his hair lighter as well...but his horns were still black. "A little more, huh?"
Jungkook watched Jimin's eyes trail upwards to his horns. "A bit more. But I think we can do it. I've been good."
"You have been." Jimin looked back at his eyes. "You've been so good. How does it feel?"
"A little sickening, I'm not gunna lie. I'm not used to this at all."
"What are you used to?" Jimin watched Jungkook moved back, no longer pressing him backwards.
"I'm used to being left alone for weeks." Jungkook shook his head. "Sorry, that's sad. I don't wanna be sad. You should eat."
"No no...continue. It's okay to be sad you know. All emotions are valid." Jimin smiled to reassure him.
"Mm." Jungkook moved his hands back to the counter, looking down. "I'm used to...being left alone so that when people come back I'm desperate. I've been left for months on end so that when they come back...they can have a good time." Jungkook looked back up. "I'm used to being used."
"Oh Jungkook..." Jimin felt his heart hurt. "I hope that you're finding refuge here. I hope...I hope that you feel safer here."
"I do. You're actually going against what I am. No ones ever done that before."
"Well...I understand the appeal. But you're so much more than a body." Jimin sighed. "So- so I don't want you to feel alone anymore. Okay?"
"You've take care of me?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow.
"I will." Jimin nodded, but saw the doubt on Jungkook's face.
He scoffed. "For a month, yeah. And then what?" Jungkook sighed. "I dunno Jimin. I don't know if all of this is enough. If I die...I'll just...be back at it. I don't get to be kind at home. And if I get summoned again...I'll just be used again. But if you...if you finish the ritual, I'll get to stay. And then I can be good! I could be good for as long as you live." Jungkook tried to regain his composure. "Doesn't that...doesn't that sound so much better?" He looked Jimin in the eyes.
"Jungkook...I don't know if I can spend my life with you. I want to be your friend." Jimin looked down, pursing his lips. Jungkook could definitely see through that one.
"Friends don't do what we do." Jungkook sighed and let go of the counter, trying to back off, but Jimin quickly wrapped his legs around Jungkook's waist.
"Wait."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, putting his hands back on the counter on each side of Jimin. "Is there something I'm not getting?"
"What happens if you stay...and become good afterwards?"
"Hell, I don't know. It's never happened before."
"Would your book know?"
"Haven't read the thing in ages."
"Then will you take another look?" Jimin tried again, smiling at Jungkook.
"No, no, I don't think I should. The more I read it the more I get upset." Jungkook shook his head. "I just want to be with you. That's what I know."
"Jungkook...I want to be with you too, but you have to understand that this isn't-"
"You want to be with me?" Jungkook's eyes lit up. "Really?"
"Jungkook, listen to me." Jimin put a hand on Jungkook's cheek. "You probably can't stay."
"Why not? I'll be good. I promise I'll be good." Jungkook begged. "I just want to stay. I'll be anything you want me to, I'll be good. I'll do anything to stay."
"Jungkook..." Jimin smiled apologetically. "I'm not sure if you can stay. I want to check things in your book."
Jungkook whined. "But Jimin, what if it says things I don't like?"
"Then it'll be good for you. Please Jungkook." Jimin brought Jungkook's face closer and kissed him on the cheek. "Please."
Jungkook melted into his kiss. "Mmmm." He smiled. "I dunno~ maybe a better kiss and I will?" Jungkook gave him a dopey smile.
"Promise?" Jimin smiled as Jungkook leaned closer, head in the clouds.
"I promise."
Jimin took Jungkook's cheeks in his hands and pulled him closer, kissing him on the lips. "There. That good?"
"More please." Jungkook smiled more, leaning closer and closer. "Another one." Jungkook rubbed up and down on Jimin's hips.
"You said a better kiss, and that's a better one." Jimin smiled, giggling.
"A better one! You kissed me! You- you kissed me!" Jungkook excitedly scooped Jimin up, bringing him back to the bedroom.
"Jungkook!" Jimin quickly wrapped his arms around Jungkook neck, blushing deeply as he felt Jungkook's hands holding him. "J-Jungkook, hold on-"
"No no, I want to kiss you now." Jungkook set Jimin down and hovered over him. "You can't just kiss me and not expect more."
"I very well can." Jimin blushed more, watching Jungkook's excitement. "I-I don't think this is good for you."
"No it's amazing." Jungkook kissed Jimin's neck, peppering him. "I've been dying to kiss you for ages." Jungkook ran his hands up Jimin's sides, trying to get his sweater off.
"Jungkook! J-Jungkook keep it- keep it calm." Jimin shuddered as Jungkook's hands went up his shirt. "Jungkook!"
"Jimin, god I just want to fuck you." Jungkook mouthed at his jaw, pushing his sweater up to his chest. "Just let me fuck you, we'll finish the ritual, I'll get to stay and we can- we can make me good afterwards." Jungkook kissed up to his lips, kissing him again.
"Mmm!" Jimin felt Jungkook's lips on his own, taking his bottom lip in between his own. Jungkook kissed him eagerly as Jimin tried to push him away. "Mm!"
"God you feel so good Jimin." Jungkook kept kissing him, trying to get Jimin's clothes off.
"Jungkook! Stop!" Jimin pushed him again.
Jungkook did stop. "Y-you kissed me. I thought-"
"No Jungkook." Jimin shook his head. "A-a kiss isn't consent."
Jungkook whined. "I just wanna fuck you!"
"You don't get to! You don't get to. I was just- I was just giving you a kiss." Jimin looked at him seriously, blushing heavily as Jungkook lowered himself to Jimin's chest, kissing softly while looking up at him. "J-Jungkook."
"Hm?" Jungkook kept kissing him. "I'll be good, I promise. I just wanna make you feel good. I'm sorry- I'm sorry I keep making you feel bad." Jungkook shook his head, kissing softly. "I get too carried away. I'm too eager."
"You just need to learn patience."
"I'll learn it. I'll learn it for you, just- just-"
"Ah- no. We're going slow. And I'll teach you...how kissing can be kind and not- not an invitation to sex."
Jungkook gasped and looked up at him. "Kissing isn't sexual?!"
"No!" Jimin laughed. "I don't kiss you in sexual ways. When- when I kissed your back, was that sexual?"
"N-no...it wasn't." Jungkook looked concerned. "I see...then...I'll be happy to learn." He nodded. "I'll learn for you."
Jimin laughed again, tugging his sweater down. "Okay. Then let's start with that book, hm?"
"Eat breakfast, I'll go get it."

Jungkook and Jimin spent the third week reading over Jungkook's book. There were rules he'd already covered, history he didn't exactly remember, and nothing all too helpful from what Jungkook could translate.
"This isn't what we needed..." Jimin sighed and poured himself more wine. "And with a week left..."
"Well..." Jungkook played with free Jimin's hand. "I've been getting better..."
"But the timing it just- I don't know." Jimin shook his head. "I don't know what will happen to you."
"Then keep me here."
"That shouldn't be needed."
"You can't change magic."
"But I can challenge fate." Jimin glared at the book. "Show me your back."
Jungkook rolled his eyes with a smile, taking off his shirt and turning around. "Is it looking any better?"
"...yeah. But I don't know what I can do in a week." Jimin sighed. "It just isn't enough time."
"Jimin...either let me die, or claim me." Jungkook shrugged. "It's okay."
"No! It's not Jungkook. Those aren't easy choices." Jimin was stressing out and drinking.
"Jimin..." Jungkook touched Jimin's shoulder. "It's okay to put yourself first. I know I'm a lost cause."
"No you're not! That's the point. There's hope in you, and I- I want you to stay. You've got good in you. You've got love in you." Jimin gave him a sad look. "And I just don't have enough time to call it forward."
"You could summon me again?"
"I can't. Not until another full blue moon."
"Oh." Jungkook nodded. "Then let me be. I'll be okay. I'll be okay and you can move on nicely. Get that shop you want with Taehyung. Find another person to practice your clothes on." Jungkook laughed a little. "I'll be fine."
"I don't want you to go." Jimin glared at him.
"Gettin selfish now, huh?" Jungkook teased him before seeing Jimin's eyes water. "Hey. I'll be fine." Jungkook kissing him on the forehead. "You've taught me a lot. I think I'll remember it all. I'll figure it all out, and maybe god will see all the hard work I'm doing. Maybe I'll be able to be an angel again. If I do...I'll make sure to watch over you. I'll make sure to send someone who reminds you of me, so you can have a lovely partner."
Jimin shook his head. "But I want you dumbass." He punched Jungkook's shoulder lightly, wiping his eyes.
"Psh, come on. I'll send someone to love you. And you'll go on dates together, wearing your finest clothes, hands tight together as you enjoy each other. You'll wake up next to each other full of love. You'll kiss them. You'll love them dearly. I promise you, I'll do my best to send you someone to love." Jungkook smiled at him. "Since I couldn't do it."
"Jungkook, stop it. You're wrong. You are someone lovable."
"Jimin, I was a lost cause from the beginning. I've been cursed with lust...I'm incapable of feeling love again."
"Shut up! That's not true." Jimin set his drink down, glaring at Jungkook. "That can't be true because I know I feel love. I know I feel love because I don't feel lust much at all."
"Jimin..." Jungkook shook his head slowly. "I'm not positive it's love."
"It sure as hell isn't lust." Jimin grabbed the back of Jungkook's neck, putting their foreheads together. "And it sure as hell isn't friendship. So don't even think someone else is gunna do it for me. I wanna wake up next to you. Go on dates with you. Dress you up. Open up my shop with Taehyung and have you model there. We'll make it work."
Jungkook sighed. "Jimin...the statement still stands."
"Oh yeah? Well mines about to stand too. I love you." Jimin looked right into Jungkook's eyes, serious, and glaring.
Jungkook widened his eyes. "Huh- what?"
"You heard me. I love you." Jimin kept their foreheads together.
"J-Jimin! There's no way! You've been nothing but disappointed!-"
"Shut up! That's not true! I'm a bad liar and I've never felt this before. Maybe you put a spell on me. Maybe I'm just fucking crazy! But I know my emotions well, and I know what I'm saying!" Jimin huffed. "So don't you dare say you're a lost cause. Cause if you can feel love within me, then you can damn well feel it inside yourself too!"
Jungkook nodded slowly. "Fuck...um...okay. That's- that sure is something." He barely squeaked out his words before Jimin kissed him.
It was a bit of a tipsy kiss, but Jimin kept it short, letting him go. "So let's try to do this. Okay?"
"Okay. Okay. Yeah. Let- I have to lay down." Jungkook stood from his spot and took a woozy step, Jimin grabbing him quickly as he started to sway.
"Hey, you alright?"
"Feelin...a tad bit under the weather. That's...that's rare..." Jungkook felt himself start to lose focus, as Jimin led him to their bed. He set him down, Jungkook immediately laying down. "Oh god, don't worry Jimin. I'll be fine."
"Shush." Jimin checked his forehead. "God, you're burning up."
"Oh?"
"Yeah. Close your eyes, I'll be back."
Jungkook did close his eyes, but he passed out, aching slightly as he slept.
____
Jungkook woke up with a shiver, sitting up quickly. "Gah!" He breathed heavily, hands checking his chest before looking down to see himself in a shirt, drenched in sweat. "S-sweat?"
He looked to the side to see himself alone in the room. Jungkook quickly took off his shirt, hating the feeling of the sweat on his skin. When he looked down, he saw his chest clear of marks. Just...his skin. "Ah! What the fuck!"
He heard quick steps from outside, Jimin entering the room quickly. "Are you okay?! Oh my god!" Jimin gasped seeing him, rushing over. He checked his temperature, before processing everything. "Can you stand?"
Jungkook stood up, Jimin making him turn around. Jimin gasped. "What is it? What happened? What- what day is it?"
"Your back! And chest! You're- you're looking
mark free! There's only a thin line to your head, but your horns are still fully black. But your back! It's- it's nearly clear!"
Jungkook turned around with a grin. "How long do we have?"
"I- only a couple days. You had such a high fever."
"Jimin I think I've figured it out." Jungkook grabbed Jimin's shoulders in excitement. "I think I'm turning human."
"Oh?" Jimin looked up at him with a smile.
"Yeah! I've- I've never had to deal with human issues. But the longer I've spent with you...I've been feeling the need to eat and sleep for real. And now I'm getting a fever and sweating. I think your love is turning me human."
"You should take a bath then. You'll feel better after a bath."
"Ugh, will it be cold?"
"It can be warm."
"Ooo." Jungkook smiled. "Then will you join me?"
"I'll...sit on the outside. We have to...discuss our final days."
Jungkook nodded. "Okay."
Jimin prepared a bath for him, Jungkook happily undressing and getting in.
"Jungkook...how do you become fully good?"
"I dunno. We gotta be completely in love I guess."
"Are we not?"
"Well...I'm sure we're doing good. But...you're right. Love becomes evident over time."
"We don't have much of that."
"I know. But we can- we could do something big." Jungkook looked down, washing his hair.
"Could you do it?" Jimin questioned him. "Could you do it as an act of love and not lust?"
"Jimin...lust is about the body. Love is about the soul. I think...I think I'm attracted to you. I think...I think I could do it."
"Then...last resort. Okay? We can- we can still try other options."
"Okay Jimin...but I think it's a bigger deal than small acts." Jungkook pouted. "I think it's a last resort kind of thing."
"Well." Jimin huffed and decided. "Well I want you to stay. It's decided then. It'll be the weekend and I'll make sure I'm free. Understood?"
Jungkook looked at him and laughed. "Sure. You don't need to be so formal."
"I-I have to be clear."
Jungkook laughed again. "Okay Jimin. I'm glad you want me to stay."
"I can't imagine someone else." Jimin shook his head. "I think you must've put a spell on me."
____
Jimin had the most extremely stressful day of work yet, designing clothes left and right for the winter preparation. Winter fashion week was the most outrageous, extraordinary, and difficult week out of the year.
One week to put everything together.
One week to get models fitted and one week to fix clothes. He was given one month of preparation, and he had to get two more outfits ready before organizing things. He'd been selected to be one of the managers of the dresses, and Taehyung had been asked to another department.
So yeah, the day wasn't fun to say the least.
When he got home, he angrily went to his little designing room, angrily sewing and drawing.
Jungkook peaked in. "Jimin? You okay? I...made dinner...?"
Jining gave him a glance before sighing. "Sorry. I should probably just finish up and take a shower before going to sleep. I'm going to have a rough week."
"Oh...but you need dinner." Jungkook smiled. "Right? You said we could watch a movie tonight."
"I don't have to time, I'm sorry Jungkook."
Jungkook stood in the doorway. "Mm...wanna talk about your day?"
"No. I don't." Jimin sighed and put down his needles. "Jungkook, I'll be fine. I just want to get some anger out."
"Then let's watch something angering so you can take it out on the tv instead of accidentally stabbing yourself with your sewing needles." Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Besides...you need to eat. If you're stressed then you probably skipped lunch."
"Jungkook. Let me be angry alone. I don't want you to see it." Jimin turned in his chair to look at Jungkook. He seemed so much more...human.
Jungkook shook his head. "All emotions are worth expressing. Now come on. I'll go pick out a movie you'll hate." He smiled and left.
Jimin shook his head with a small smile.
Jungkook was changing drastically.
In the past week, he'd lost his magic. He'd had to stay home since he couldn't shift for very long anymore. His entire back was clean, and the only part Jimin could see that was still tainted was the small of his neck, leading up to his horns. But those were becoming small too.
He seemed to glow in a way. His skin was a nice, tanned color, his eyes were a soft brown, and his hair was even softer of a brown. His smile was kind, and he was just...perfect. Jimin found him absolutely perfect.
He got up with a smile on his face, trailing behind Jungkook who already set up their food on the coffee table in the living room.
"I chose an American show, so I'm sure you'll have fun."
"Jesus christ Jungkook." Jimin rolled his eyes.
"It'll be fun! I love this guy. I don't understand it much, but I know he's cool." Jungkook put on The Titan Games.
Jimin did enjoy watching it with Jungkook, feeling his anger subside. "Thank you Jungkook."
"Oh it's no problem. I just wanna be as helpful as possible." Jungkook smiled. "I can't imagine leaving you to be angry all alone."
"Ah, I would've been fine."
"But I can make you feel better. Better than fine. You don't have to be your minimum okay."
Jimin eyed him with a smile. "Wow, look at you! Learning so much. Teaching me my own lessons."
"Hey, I learned from the best." Jungkook cheekily smiled back. "Besides...I want to learn everything I can. So I can be good for you."
"Jungkook." Jimin smiled more, leaning against him. "You are good to me. And I'm so glad you're willing to learn."
"I'm willing to do anything Jimin. You're the kindest, and the most special person I've had the pleasure of being connected to."
"Kinda funky to think about it that way." Jimin hummed. "Connected to huh?"
"Yeah. You're my life." Jungkook smiled at Jimin, kissing the top of his head. "I think you're lovely."
Jimin giggled. "I'm so proud of you."
"Me?"
"Yeah. You've come a really long way." Jimin cuddled up to him on the couch. "I never thought you'd be so...willing."
"Well, I'd never been given a chance to change before." Jungkook kissed his head again. "So it was surprising to me. I never thought...well, I never thought there was another answer. It's only tales where I'm from. No ones done it before. They say once your back is covered you're done for."
"But you did it."
"Not yet." Jungkook sighed quietly. "I've just yet to get in."
"You had a fucking fever for being good. So you know what? You're going to be just fine." Jimin looked up at him. "Okay?"
"It's...it's still a lot."
"And I'll help you." Jimin tried to ease Jungkook's doubt. "Okay?"
"You've helped me quite enough." Jungkook sighed. "I'm feeling- trying to feel hopeful." He put a hand in Jimin's hair, petting. "But I'm just not sure. There must be a reason why it's a month. There must be a reason why demons can't be good."
"It's about trusting the process." Jimin blushed at Jungkook's softness. "And the process isn't over yet." Jimin moved around, sitting on Jungkook's lap. "You've still got these bad boys." Jimin touched Jungkook's horns, rubbing the tips of them.
Jungkook moaned shamelessly, then blushed in embarrassment. "O-oh god Jimin."
Jimin blushed too, removing his hands. "I-I'm sorry."
"I'd say it's a problem but it feels really nice." Jungkook nearly whined. "C-can you do it again?"
"Isn't that...isn't that giving in?" Jimin blushed more and Jungkook put his hands on his waist. "J-Jungkook."
"Do it again Jiminie." Jungkook smiled, blushing more.
"Wait just a little more Jungkook. I've got a busy day tomorrow. I'm...I'm going to be busy now."
"You were busy before." Jungkook pouted.
"I know." Jimin sighed. "But with winter closing in...ah, fashion week is closing in. We've been working for it for months now and it'll be time to basically show off our work. If it isn't perfect...I'm fired."
"You want that anyways."
"What I want is my work shown off. Once my work is seen as a success...it'll be easy to make people want my clothes." Jimin smiled. "So soon. Okay? We've got another night to relax at least."
"Jimin...the time is really closing in."
"It's okay." Jimin kissed his nose. "You're staying."
____
Jimin angrily got home again. Taehyung and him had been given piles and piles of work, loading up more and more on their plates. They'd taken their lunch break to go into Taehyung's car and scream it out, but Jimin still felt angry.
He was losing his mind. He gave Jungkook a short smile before going into their room, flopping on the bed and grabbing his pillow. He screamed into it, trying to let out his steam.
"Jimin?..." Jungkook peaked into the room. "Another bad day?"
"Yes." Jimin was muffled, but he kept his face in the pillow. He bit it.
"Can I make your day any better?" Jungkook tittered side to side.
"I dunno. I'm just sick of this. If I'm a manager why aren't I credited?! Or payed accordingly? I want my name out there, not under the company name. Fuck it all, I want to be an individual!" Jimin yelled into the pillow.
"Wow Jimin, I didn't know you had it in you to be angry." Jungkook took a deep breath and let it out, then sat next to Jimin. "You know...I'm glad you're angry."
"Why?" Jimin felt bad for yelling. "I should just...sleep it off and have a better attitude tomorrow."
"Oh no, what you're going through is rough. It's hard to do so much and get nothing out of it. You deserve to be angry. But, if it makes you feel better, then take your anger about what you hate, and flip it. That's how your fashion brand will be. And honestly," Jungkook laughed, putting a hand on Jimin's thigh. "What's better than you?"
Jimin smiled a little. "My place is gunna be amazing."
"Hell yeah it is." Jungkook grinned, watching Jimin move the pillow to see him.
"Hell yeah."
____
Jimin went home with fire in his eyes. Every day seemed to get worse. It was what he was expecting, but he was also pissed off beyond measures. Jimin hated being angry. It felt bad, even if he was completely in the right about it. He just hated feeling anger, as it often led to emotions he didn't want.
Instead of being alone, Jimin cleaned himself up and went straight to Jungkook, taking the drink out of his hand and setting it down.
Jungkook looked at him with a smile and went to pick his drink back up, but Jimin kept his drink on the coffee table and sat on his lap.
Jungkook laughed. "Another bad day?"
"Absolutely horrible."
"Well, let's make it better." Jungkook picked him up and walked him to the bedroom, setting him down.
"I-I see." Jimin blushed. "A...do you want to tonight?" Jimin saw Jungkook hover above him.
"It's tonight...or tomorrow night. But I- I want to make you happier. You've been having a rough week." Jungkook straddled Jimin's thighs, taking off his sweater.
Jimin nodded. "Yeah. I- I have." He blushed more, trying not to look down at Jungkook's abdomen. "B-but that- that doesn't mean we should-"
"Jimin." Jungkook smiled at him. "I don't have time to think about whether it's a good time or not. I want...to make you happy. You've had a rough day...I want to make it better."
Jimin exhaled. "Okay. Yeah. You know what? You're right. We don't need a special occasion." Jimin pulled Jungkook down closer. "Right?"
"Right." Jungkook smiled wide, leaning down closer to kiss Jimin's neck. "Can I take your clothes off?"
Jimin laughed. "That's what you wanna say?"
"I've been wanting to for a long time." Jungkook nodded eagerly. "And- and this time it should be different...right?"
Jimin kissed him on the cheek. "I promise it'll be different. It's not lust."
Jungkook nodded, looking a little scared. "I-I hope not."
"Then we can turn the lights off. Or something. If you're so worried about it."
"I-I'm worried about you. It's- it's going to effect you the most." Jungkook whined. "Thought it's probably much weaker now."
"Yeah. We've just got...a small problem left." Jimin blushed more, looking up at Jungkook.
"Which is?..." Jungkook leaned down closer, entranced by Jimin's flirting.
"These." Jimin put his hands through Jungkook's hair, finding his horns and rubbing them.
Jungkook's eyes fluttered shut with a moan, his arms weakening. "Jimin! D-do that again Jimin." Jungkook blushed heavily, sounding pleased.
"O...okay." Jimin kept rubbing Jungkook's horns, feeling Jungkook grind against him in response.
"F-fuck Jimin..." Jungkook kept moving, whining. "Mmmmm~ fuck, you need- we need a lot less clothes."
"A-are you that sensitive?" Jimin blushed. "Nnnh." Jimin kept rubbing, watching Jungkook blush and move against him more and more roughly.
"M-my body's- my body's made for it." Jungkook whined louder, before sounding annoyed. "Jimin! L-let me take your clothes off."
"Do it." Jimin nodded, blushing pink at Jungkook's eagerness. He sat up, letting Jungkook take his clothes off.
"Fucking hell you're so pretty." Jungkook looked mischievous as he eyed Jimin. "What will you let me do?"
"W-what kind of question is that?" Jimin felt embarrassed, trying to hide his growing smile.
"What will you let me do?" Jungkook looked at him eagerly, energy rushing through him. "God I feel so alive! Jimin- Jimin let- what will you let me do?" Jungkook started to undo his pants.
"Why do you need permission?" Jimin got his own clothes off.
"Uh...you're...the one in charge?" Jungkook looked at him in confusion. "Is that- am I in the wrong?"
"It's mutual." Jimin gave a small smile. "It's a mutual thing Jungkook. No ones in charge."
"Oh." Jungkook looked taken aback. "W-what...what would you like?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow, as if asking if this was an okay thing to ask.
"I would like you to enjoy yourself. Pl-please. I want you for once in your life to do what you want." Jimin matched Jungkook; all of their clothes were off. "So what would you like?"
"I-" Jungkook was completely surprised, blinking a lot while trying to think. "Whatever I'd like?"
"Mhm." Jimin nodded. "As long as you're kind."
"...d'ya want me to top?" Jungkook seemed apprehensive.
"Jungkook! Do what you'd like. Just be safe and kind to me." Jimin laughed. He didn't expect Jungkook to be so eager yet so careful.
"T-then will you let me-"
"Move me. Do what you want to do. I'm giving you permission to do that. Don't ask."
"O-okay." Jungkook seemed energized. "Then-then flip around."
Jimin snickered, trying to hide his laughing at Jungkook. He flipped over, now on his hands and knees.
"Oh fucking hell." Jungkook lost his breath, hands immediately on Jimin's ass. "Shit, I knew you had a lot of ass but it's even more than I could imagine." Jungkook groped him before leaning down, kissing and biting.
"A-ah, remember to- to be careful with your marks."
"Fuck, hopefully no one else is seeing your ass." Jungkook bit another mark in, then spread his cheeks. "Cause I'd have to fucking kill them." Jungkook blew on Jimin's hole, gaining a gasp and shiver from Jimin.
"J-Jungkook, no murder- absolutely not." Jimin stuttered as he felt Jungkook's finger circle his entrance.
Jungkook laughed. "Jimin...I didn't mean it. But I would do it." Jungkook moved a little, leaning down and sticking his tongue inside Jimin's hole. Jimin gasped again, not used to the feeling at all.
"Ah!" Jimin lost his balance as Jungkook grabbed his legs and made them spread more. "J-Jungkook-"
Jungkook kept a quick pace, tongue going in and out, licking around. His hands decided to stay on Jimin's ass, feeling and groping.
"J-Jungkook, you should- you should prep me."
Jungkook pulled away, wiping his mouth. "Yeah?"
Jimin blushed and nodded. "Y-yeah, I think- think we're good."
"Aw~ are you embarrassed? You know I'd do anything, right?"
Jimin nodded again, feeling his cheeks burn. "I...I know."
"So don't be embarrassed about it. I want to make you feel good." Jungkook smiled, biting at Jimin's ass again.
"M-mmm." Jimin stuttered, feeling overly embarrassed. "Y-you're- you're making a lot of- a lot of marks..."
"Well, no one ever sees it, do they? Otherwise I might have a problem." Jungkook laughed a little as he gave Jimin a small smack on his ass, getting up to get what they needed.
"N-no, they won't, but- but still, I can't imagine what's so- so appealing." Jimin rolled onto his back, wanting to see Jungkook.
Jungkook looked at him and laughed. "You don't see the appeal?" Jungkook moved in between Jimin's legs, grabbing Jimin's thighs and rubbing them up and down, spreading them wide apart. Jimin blushed heavily, covering his face. "You don't...see the appeal. Hmmm." He rubbed Jimin's thighs, squeezing here and there. "I do. All of you is just so...beautiful."
"J-Jungkook..." Jimin felt his lower lip tremble. "Y-you're...happy, right?"
"I'm beyond happy." Jungkook kept rubbing his thighs, widening and widening Jimin's legs. "I've wanted to do this for a while."
"For my body." Jimin spoke quietly.
Jungkook snorted. "At first maybe, but not now." Jungkook rubbed Jimin's thighs. "Not at all."
"O-oh." Jimin put his hands over his face. "Okay."
Jungkook giggled. "Why're you embarrassed?"
"I've never! I've never done...anything like this before..." Jimin covered his face more, whining. He hated how he was already hard, but Jungkook's touch was inviting and made Jimin excited. "S-so I'm- I'm nervous."
"Don't be my angel." Jungkook poured lube on his fingers. "So relax, and let me make you feel good."
"Okay." Jimin nodded, feeling the heat of his cheeks. "Okay."
"I mean actually relax. Relax your body." Jungkook slowly pushed a finger in, Jimin clenching on instinct. "Relax Jimin."
"A-ah, okay." Jimin tried to relax. "Okay." Jimin relaxed.
Jungkook pushed in easier. "Better. See? That's better." Jungkook moved his finger around, one hand on the inside of Jimin's thigh, holding him open. "You're so pretty Jimin."
"N-no way." Jimin stuttered, feeling hot. "Nnnngh."
"Hell yeah. You're so pretty like this. You're so pretty when you're embarrassed." Jungkook continued, being careful with Jimin. "You feel okay?"
"Y-yeah." Jimin nodded, trying to stay relaxed for Jungkook.
"Can I add another?" Jungkook asked kindly, moving his finger slowly.
"I- sure."
"Yes or no love."
"Yes."
"Alright." Jungkook pulled out, added more lube, and then added another finger. He started to scissor Jimin.
"O-oh." Jimin shivered, heating up. "O-oh god, that's, that's really- that's really-"
"Feels good?" Jungkook continued, pushing in deeply.
Jimin squeaked. "Y-yeah! It- it does. A little- I'm not- not used to it at all."
"Well...if it feels good, then by all means, this is worth it all." Jungkook made sure to watch Jimin's expressions. "I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable."
"No...no it feels good. I- I feel good." Jimin whined, his thigh muscles tensing under Jungkook's hand.
Jungkook hummed happily. "You're so cute Jimin. You feel so nice."
"H-how am I cute?" Jimin nearly moaned at Jungkook fingering him, but held it back.
"Cause you're reacting so nicely. And I'm feeling more energy than I have in a month, so that can only mean good things for you. And me. It's so odd." Jungkook seemed a little embarrassed.
"What's odd?"
"Well, I've never done this before. You know. I'm a pleaser. But this is- this is different. This is entirely different." Jungkook kept his fingers moving, leaning down and kissing at Jimin's neck.
"I'm glad I'm different." Jimin pulled Jungkook closer, hands going through his hair. "I'm glad I could help you." Jimin pushed their lips together, his fingers finding Jungkook's horns. He teased him, the two kissing and moaning together.
"Fuck, Jimin, you're- you're really being unfair." Jungkook moaned, desperate to keep the kiss going and moving his fingers.
"D-do what you need to do to get inside me." Jimin kept touching Jungkook's horns, finding his reactions attractive.
Jungkook pulled away from their kiss. He panted. "J-Jimin, if you want me to come right now then by all means continue, but if you don't, then maybe don't tease me." Jungkook stared at Jimin's eyes, seeing them smile.
"Okay. I'll stop teasing you." Jimin kissed him again, then let him go.
"Alright. Imma have to add another finger."
"O...okay." Jimin tried to relax as Jungkook added another finger, working his hole wider. "Y-you're so kind Jungkook."
Jungkook grinned at that, kissing Jimin again. "Well yeah. I want you to feel good and cared for."
"I do. I most definitely do." Jimin nearly whined again grabbing Jungkook's bicep. He felt embarrassed at feeling his muscles.
Jungkook noticed, smiling wide. "I don't mind if you touch me."
"It's not that." Jimin whispered, his voice cutting off.
Jungkook pulled his fingers out, gaining a moan from Jimin. "Then what is it?"
"J-just- you're very strong."
"Hell yeah I am. I've gotta be able to pick you up and defend you, no?"
"Why- why those two things?" Jimin let go of Jungkook's bicep as he leaned up, getting a condom on and lubing himself.
"Well one." Jungkook lined up and slowly pushed in. "I have to be able to pick you up so I can bring you to bed." He watched Jimin's expressions to make sure he was alright. "And two, because I never want you to get hurt."
"Mmmmm." Jimin whimpered. "I-I don't get hurt."
"You might though. So I have to be able to protect you."
"I- ngh! I'm not going to get hurt- hurt." Jimin tried to quiet himself as Jungkook pushed in.
"Still. If you did. I'd never want harm to happen to you. Are you feeling okay? This good?"
Jimin nodded. "A bit- a bit of a burn."
"Good or bad?"
"F-fine."
"Then I'll wait." Jungkook stayed still, leaning down to kiss at Jimin's chest. "I'll wait till you're good."
Jimin felt more embarrassed, flushed from his ears to his chest. Jungkook's kisses made him hazy in thought, only able to think about his pleasure, which, in return, made him more embarrassed. The cycle was vicious for Jimin, but Jungkook thoroughly enjoyed it.
"Okay. Okay I'm good, you can keep moving." Jimin squirmed under Jungkook, almost becoming needy.
"Alright. Tell me if it ever hurts, okay angel?"
"Okay." Jimin moaned quietly as Jungkook kept pushing in, moaning louder when he bottomed out. "Mmmm~"
"I'll wait." Jungkook was snug inside, watching intently to make sure Jimin was alright.
"You can...keep moving..." Jimin spoke quietly, Jungkook checking him over.
"You sure?"
Jimin nodded. "I- I'm sure."
Jungkook smiled a little. "Why are you so embarrassed for feeling good? It's- it's not a bad thing to feel good. Give in to the feeling. You'll learn that...it's not half bad when you care about the person." Jungkook smiled more. "I've learned that much."
"It's just- it's just that you're so confident and- and you look so handsome and I just- I don't know how to respond. I feel so dirty for wanting more." Jimin whispered, turning his head to the side.
Jungkook leaned down and kissed at his neck. "Jimin...there's nothing dirty about loving someone. These actions...these actions aren't dirty. There isn't lust. I would feel it. Besides, you think I'm handsome, so that's enough to make me happy."
Jimin gave a small laugh. "You like me calling your handsome?"
"Love anything you call me. I love anything that comes out of your mouth."
"Jungkook...you can move." Jimin turned back to him, gaining a kiss on the lips. He gripped Jungkook's biceps again, and nodded slowly. "Please."
"There you go. See? Nothing wrong at all." Jungkook started to move, groaning softly at the feeling, as Jimin moaned. "Just tell me what you want. Okay?"
"Y-you know more- more than I do." Jimin exhaled, trying to relax, but definitely feeling himself not relax. "So you should be- you should do what you know."
"But this is for you. I want you to have a good experience."
"Us, Jungkook." Jimin gripped his biceps a little tighter and Jungkook moved. "I-it's for us. Not just me. But you know m-more than me." Jimin tried desperately to talk normally. "So show me."
Jungkook exhaled with a smile. "Okay. I'll show you." Jungkook held Jimin's waist, positioning himself a little better before moving a bit quicker. "Don't be afraid to use your voice angel."
Jimin nodded, squirming more. "I- I can try."
"You just sound so pretty...don't cover your voice." Jungkook moved a bit harder, trying to find Jimin's prostate. "You always sound so pretty."
Jimin whined, his back arching a little bit. "I- I don't think so."
"What? But you do! Here I'll show you." Jungkook slammed his hips in, making Jimin moan much louder. Jungkook grinned happily. "See? You sound so beautiful!"
"J-Jungkook!" Jimin felt embarrassed, but didn't hide his voice, digging his nails into Jungkook's biceps. "J-Jungkook."
"Hm?" Jungkook smiled wider, getting more excited. "Feel nice?" Jungkook kept trying to find Jimin's prostate, feeling extremely happy when Jimin moaned loudly. "Did I hit it?"
"Fuck!" Jimin whimpered, his bottom lip trembling. "W-what- do it- do it again!" Jimin felt hot, his skin burning from embarrassment and pleasure.
"Sure thing Jimin." Jungkook grinned excitedly, aiming and hitting Jimin's prostate over and over.
Jimin felt overstimulated, crying out to Jungkook. He dug his nails deeper, his voice starting to get sore from over use. He babbled, moving his hands to Jungkook's back, scratching there as well.
Jungkook grinned madly, abusing Jimin's prostate on purpose. Whatever made him moan was perfect to him. "Lovely Jimin. You sound...lovely."
"J-Jungkook! I'm- I'm close, I'm close Jungkook-" Jimin moaned again, his back arching as he dug his nails into Jungkook's back.
"Good good." Jungkook kept going, pleasing Jimin his top priority.
Jimin moaned loudly as he came, nails digging into Jungkook's skin again. Jungkook came as well, groaning. He leaned down, holding Jimin close. He kissed at his neck, feeling Jimin breathe heavily. "You good Jimin?"
"Y-yeah." Jimin held him close as well. "Yeah I'm good. I'm...I'm good. You- are you good?"
"Me? I'm fantastic." Jungkook kept kissing, feeling Jimin rub his back.
"Sorry...sorry I didn't mean to- I'm sorry." Jimin felt over Jungkook's shoulders, feeling marks. "God I'm so sorry-"
"It's okay. They're- they're not bad marks...not this time."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive. I'm yours now."
"Fuck. Fuck are you- do you feel better?"
"We'll have to see. Thank you Jimin. You really really did save me." Jungkook kept kissing. "Thank you."
____
Jimin smiled wide as he stood with Taehyung, taking in a big breath and letting it out. "We did it." Taehyung looked at him, smiling wide.
"We did it." Jimin opened the doors to their new store, the grand opening starting as a success.
"Jungkook's one hell of a model."
"And he thought he couldn't do it." Jimin snickered.
"He's human now, right?"
"Yeah. He's can't become an angel again, and he decided to stay here instead of passing on. I'm...extremely happy." Jimin laughed, getting behind the counter with Taehyung.
Jungkook snaked his way through the crowd of people, embarrassed to a point, making his way to Jimin and Taehyung behind the counter. "Gosh I'm so sorry I'm late. The people outside kind of- well, to keep it short they recognized me." Jungkook laughed.
"You're gunna be famous." Taehyung teased him. "Looking good too!"
"It's your clothes." Jungkook rolled his eyes, putting an arm around Jimin's shoulders. "I'll wear yours tomorrow angel."
"You better."
"I will! I promise."
"You better, love." Jimin smiled wide, teasing him. "You better."
