Kings and Queens
Hello everyone!
Merry Christmas! This took a bit of time to make. Thank you all so much for letting me take my time and create someone good instead of rushing to just get something out.
I apologize too much, so, instead of apologizing for being slow, I'm going to thank you all for sticking with me.
I'm writing a lot of stories currently, so some should be out sooner than later.
Enjoy!
~Munch 💜
In which Jungkook and Jimin are princes from different kingdoms, and Jungkook needs help learning the proper etiquette and knowledge a prince should know. And what's better than learning from another prince?
22,000 words.
small warning, this story will have:
high homophobia
trauma
abuse
It'll turn out alright of course, a perfect, happy ending, but these things are a big part of the plot. Do not read if you're uncomfortable with it. I don't wanna make anyone sad :(

"Father, please. I wish to learn from my brother, not a neighboring prince. Brother knows more than I could even imagine." Jungkook sat by his fathers bed, his face desperate.
"Jungkook, this is no time to argue with me. Your brother is busy ruling his kingdom with his Queen, you mustn't rely on him any longer. The Park family has already agreed to help us, and the Gold kingdom has already prepared and announced that their prince and his company are coming here. Be good to them when they arrive. They'll be here tomorrow."
"Father! This wasn't a discussion if it's just your decision."
"I never said it was a discussion. Prepare for tomorrow. You'll be getting the training I cannot personally give."
Jungkook angrily stood. "I wish you a good recovery father." He left the room and went to his own.
Jungkook didn't want to become this kingdoms next king. He liked being a prince. It gave him freedom to discover himself while only slightly learning about politics and how to run a kingdom. It was just so much work that he didn't even really want. He liked archery, he liked watching Taekwondo and Hapkido (his father forbid him to even think about putting himself in harms way). He liked playing with the dogs he owned and he liked helping the maids with their makeup. He liked singing and listening to music. He liked keeping in shape, and he liked drawing and painting.
He liked many things that he father didn't. And he dislike many things his father wanted him to learn.
He didn't like learning history. He didn't like learning the neighboring languages. He didn't like politics. He didn't like riding horses. He didn't like going out into the town to meet the people (they were always asking for help, and he didn't know how to answer them.) He didn't like that he needed to learn how to play the piano to appease people, he'd rather sing.
But most of all.
He didn't like that he had to marry. He didn't like that he had to marry a woman.
Their biggest disagreement was about his...preference.
Jungkook liked guys, that was simple enough to everyone except his parents. His father who would never accept him if he hadn't of played it off as a joke and then cried himself to sleep that night. His mother had no say in the matter, nor did she think Jungkook was right in his decision. He would be taking his fathers rule of Crystal Kingdom whether he liked it or not, and he would have a wife. Whether he liked it or not.
And this prince that was coming...he was something else.
Jungkook sighed and went to the maids quarters. "Jiyoo, I'm having a rough day. May I help you with anything?" Jungkook sat on a stool by one of his favorite maids bed. She was sewing a hole in a dress.
"If you know how to sew, then yes your majesty." She smiled kindly.
"Father won't be coming down here anytime soon. You can call me Jungkook you know."
"I know your majesty." She looked around at the other ladies. "Actually, if you're willing to help that is, you can help set up the guest rooms for tomorrow's visitors."
"How long will they stay?" Jungkook stood and looked for direction to help. She pointed to a couple of maids making their way out of the room.
"Till your training is finished."
"Dear god." Jungkook followed the others. They set up six rooms, all close to Jungkook's. As they were fixing up the last room, his mother came in.
"Jungkook! What are you doing? This is no place for you to be, you should be studying!" She sighed and held the crease of her nose. "Come here a minute." She walked out of the room.
Jungkook sighed but followed. "Yes mother?"
"You're doing...exactly what we asked you not to."
"I had time to help, so I thought I should."
"You're a prince! You need to start acting like one so you can take the throne."
Jungkook stopped walking with her. "Are you assuming father won't make it through the process?"
"It's part of being prepared. Luck favors the prepared...and I have to be a good Queen to this kingdom as well as your father." She worriedly looked away. "I'm not sure if he will make it."
Jungkook bit his lip to hold back tears. "I don't want to rule...Mother...please..."
"It is your duty to. You must have a Queen, so the marriage would have to happen before you're announced King. If you're announced King." She quickly added, the atmosphere between them becoming awkward.
"Okay. Fine. But I'm not marrying her."
"Your father-"
"I want to be happy."
"Your happiness doesn't matter in this situation my son. Do you think your father and I are happy? Or that we got together because we wanted to? No. I was a princess and he was a prince. Arranged and married."
"Mother-"
"No son. I'm not going to let you argue your way out of this. I love you, but you must know what's best for you. This is the only option."
"Please...please Mother." Jungkook pleaded.
"Go to your room and situate yourself for tomorrow. Dinner will be brought to you." She left with a small glare, leaving Jungkook in the middle of the hallway.
Jungkook sulked back in his room, flopping on his bed and grabbing his pillow to scream into. A soft knock on his door made him stop. "Yes?"
A maid entered. "A letter for you your majesty."
"Ah, thank you." Jungkook sat up and took the letter he was handed. The maid left quickly.
Dear Prince Jungkook of Crystal Kingdom,
I'm so excited to be chosen by you to help you turn into a "real" prince! I believe our time together will be fantastic, as I cannot think of any time with you being bad. I'm looking forward to teaching you and learning more about you.
Sincerely,
Royal Prince Park Jimin of Gold Kingdom.
Jungkook smiled a little at the letter. "Chosen by me? I didn't choose anything." Jungkook huffed but reread the letter. "He has such nice handwriting. He added royal to his name too...."
He sighed after realizing he had nothing more to do in the day and went to bed, forgetting about food entirely.
____
"Son, please greet them by the door. It's important that you do. You have to show that you care. And get into better clothes! Get into official clothes. Your Crystal clothes. Go. Now." His mother shooed him away.
"God damn this is awful." Jungkook mumbled as he walked away. "At least they're guys I'll be spending time with."
"And son. Jihyo will be over for dinner tonight. Please remember that."
"Fuck." Jungkook rushed back to his room to get redressed, his attire lined with pink crystal instead of the black quartz he liked. He put on his crown and brooch, looking at himself in the mirror with a sigh.
He made his way back down. "I hope he's kind. I hope he doesn't mind that I can't talk about women with him. I hope he enjoys me." Jungkook couldn't help but think anxiously before he would greet Jimin and his company.
He waited by the door patiently.
Soon enough the doors started to open, and Jungkook situated himself quickly. Whatever his mind had prepared him for was not enough to conjure up the beauty that was Jimin. He was ethereal...an angel...
"Beautiful." Jungkook spoke.
"You must be Jeon Jungkook! I'm Park Jimin, thank you so much for allowing us to help! I'm excited!" Jimin smiled and shook his hand enthusiastically, his people coming in behind him along with their bags. Their butlers carrying the bags went with the maids to their rooms.
"Yes, of course. Thank you for being so willing to."
"It's my pleasure!" Jimin smiled wider, his eyes turning into crescents before he let go of Jungkook's hand. Jungkook took him in again, looking at his clothes, hair, and face. Black with gold accents, his hair was black and smooth, easy to run hands through, and his face...his face was soft and kind, happy in a way that made Jungkook long for something he didn't have.
"I'm glad. I'm sure you're all tired from the long trip, so I'll show you to your rooms, let you rest up, then show you the dinning room. We'll eat before you get tours of the castle and work starts." Jungkook bowed, the rest of his crew talking amongst themselves. Jungkook just noticed them. "Ah, my apologies!" Jungkook bowed. "I am Jeon Jungkook, and I welcome you into my home. I will be in your service if needed."
Jimin laughed. "Thank you. We all appreciate your kindness."
Jungkook rose from his bow, his lips forming a smile at Jimin's laugh. "I'll show you to your rooms now." Jungkook started to walk, quickly being ahead of them. He heard them quietly talk amongst themselves.
"He's fit." One person.
"Broad shoulders..." Another.
"And really handsome." A third. How many where there?
"Do you think?..." Four.
"His clothes are so nice..." Five.
"I think so." Jimin. Six.
Jungkook tried to understand what they were saying before Jimin walked up to be beside him.
"So, Jungkook. Is that fine for me to call you that?"
"Of course. Whatever you want to call me is fine. Especially to all of you. I don't really like being called majesty or anything regarding class."
"Sure thing Jungkook. You can call me Jimin."
"You're older though, aren't you?"
"Would you rather call me hyung?"
"You'd let me?" Jungkook took a glance at him.
"Of course. I don't mind."
"Ah, thank you..." Jungkook blushed and felt the peach fuzz on his ear with nervousness.
"Of course." Jimin seemed to notice.
Jungkook gulped and kept walking them to the rooms, finally getting up stairs. "A-Alright, this is our destination. My room is here, Jimin hyung, yours is right next to mine." Jungkook gestured before moving down the hall a little. "And here are 5 more open rooms to choose from. You may all choose which you like. Dinner will be called to attention at 7 tonight, so wander around, explore, and settle in until then. Studies start tomorrow. I'll see you all at dinner, unless you have any questions, then I'll be either in my room or at the archery range. Any maid will also help you if needed. Please, make yourself at home."
Jungkook bowed and quickly walked into his room, closing the door. He exhaled and shook his head. He could feel their questioning. He could feel them judge him. Judgement, or observation, either way he didn't like it. He anxiously left his room and quickly went to the archery range, not hearing Jimin's voice call him.
He shakily settled in, taking off some of his clothes to not harm them, putting on a protective wrist strap before getting his bow and arrows ready. He carefully aimed, bow string against his cheek, before letting it go. It made a satisfying thwack against the target. He continued the process, getting his nerves down.
"Jungkook!" Jimin voice loudly called to him, making Jungkook release his shot early, making him miss.
"Ah! Yes?" Jungkook turned to him quickly, bow hidden behind his back.
"Oh- I'm sorry, I thought you were ignoring me."
"I didn't hear anything, I'm sorry, I was zoning out, I won't do it again." Jungkook quickly bowed in an apology.
Jimin's eyes looked him up and down before looking into his. "You don't have to apologize. I liked watching you do your thing. It was pretty." Jimin smiled a little.
Jungkook blushed slightly. "Pretty? It's never been called pretty before."
"Yeah. Your form, your body in the light, your quietness...it was a pretty moment."
"I- um..." Jungkook blushed more, unable to hide his face. He held back a smile, biting his lip.
Jimin laughed, and Jungkook felt himself ascend. "You're cute."
Jungkook covered his face with his free hand, completely red. "H-Hyung..."
"Oh! I almost forgot why I came here. I was checking up on you. You seemed to rush out of your room. Were you just getting some air?"
Jungkook nodded, still hiding his face. "Yeah..."
"Well, do you mind if I stay and watch you do it? I'm not amazing at archery but I like watching it when it's pretty." Jimin waited for permission.
"Y-Yeah, I don't mind." Jungkook removed his hand and took his bow into position again, Jimin siting on a bench. Jungkook retook position and form, exhaling before pulling the string back to his cheek and waiting...waiting...then releasing, hearing the every so satisfying thwack.
Jimin watched.
Jungkook zoned out again, shot after shot.
Shot after shot.
Shoot, shoot, shoot-
"Jungkook." His mothers voice sounded like ice.
Jungkook quickly put his bow behind his back and turned to her, Jimin standing up as well.
"Yes mother?"
"Do you know how much time has passed?"
"No mother." Jungkook looked at the sky. "Shit."
"Do not use that language with me. Do you know how long your betrothed has been waiting in the dining room for you?" She glared at him, and he knew he wasn't going to get let off for this.
"I am so sorry mother-" Jungkook pleaded, his eyes showing regret.
"No. That isn't enough. And your clothes! Son! Your royal clothes cannot be put without care like this!"
"I'm sorry your Majesty, but I kept him. I asked him to show me what it's like to arch well, and we both got carried away. Please, do not blame him. It's my fault." Jimin spoke softly, his eyes showing a pure apology.
She looked at him and some of her anger went away. "Thank you for telling me that. Please head up, dinner will be soon." She turned and left with haste.
Jimin slowly turned to Jungkook. Jungkook looked down in shame.
"You didn't have to do that."
"I like saying the truth."
Jungkook shook his head. "It's not going to matter much anyways. But thank you for the thought." He put his bow away and put his clothes back on.
Jimin kept watching him. "How will it not matter?"
Jungkook shook his head again. Jimin didn't need to know. "It's nothing. She'll be mad at me anyway." Jungkook lifted his head with a smile. "Let's head up."
Jimin watched him and his eyes started to water.
"W-whats wrong?" Jungkook panicked. "What did I do?"
"You did absolutely nothing Jungkook." Jimin took a step closer, but Jungkook took one back. Jimin cried out before lunging into a hug.
"What's wrong?!" Jungkook didn't know how to react.
"Jungkook, please, please tell me everything is alright in this house. That you're loved. That you're respected. That you have a choice in all of this." He hugged him tighter.
Jungkook shook a little. "How did you figure it out?"
"The way you act Jungkook. It's not how you should."
"Please don't cry over it...there's no need to. I'll be okay." Jungkook patted his back as Jimin sniffled quietly.
"And how many times have you said that?"
"Jimin, you're going to mess up my clothes. Let's head up."
"Alright." Jimin let go of the hug and took his hand, Jungkook leading them back up. The walk was silent.
Jungkook opened the door for Jimin before walking in. "Ah! It's half past 7, I'm so incredibly sorry darling." Jungkook openly spoke to the table, though directing the statement to his betrothed.
Jihyo stood from her seat. "How are you Jungkook?"
Jungkook and her shared a look before he looked down. "I'm quite alright. You?" He motioned for Jimin to sit, before taking a seat next to Jihyo and Jimin.
"I'm alright too."
Jungkook nodded at her with a thin smile.
"You look unwell Jungkook..." she whispered.
"It's alright."
"Did it happen again?"
"It hasn't. But...it might tonight."
"You should do something..."
"Like? I can't. You know I can't."
"Lock yourself in your room."
"She has a key."
"Spend the night in another room."
"She checks on me every morning at 6."
"Then maybe-"
Food was abruptly brought into the room, piles of piles of food. Jungkook stood when they finished and drinks were being poured. "Thank you all so much for being here and accepting my invitation. I'll be looking forward to the following sessions and conversations that come along the way." Jungkook raised his glass, the others following.
"To Jungkook becoming a King!" Jimin smiled as he made a cheer.
"To Jungkook becoming a King!" The others repeated, clinking their drinks, and starting to eat. Jungkook carefully ate, carefully drank, and carefully cleaned his area.
Jimin seemed to notice it all.
"So Jungkook. What do you want to do tomorrow?" Jimin asked, moving his attention to Jungkook.
"Oh, um...I'm not sure. I thought I would just be studying with the variety of you guys."
"Well. You can study for a bit, and then I can teach you some things."
"Alright. That sounds like a good day." Jungkook smiled at him.
The rest of the meal went by quickly, and Jungkook waited till they had left for their rooms.
"Thank you for staying for dinner Jihyo."
She looked into his eyes. "I'll wait outside."
"Yeah. Thank you."
Jungkook turned to Jimin, who had also waited. "You can go to your room if you'd like..."
"Will you be alright?"
"You have nothing to worry about Jimin hyung. I'll be looking forward to your teachings tomorrow." Jungkook gave him a smile before looking away and going outside to Jihyo.
"Tell me what's going on Jungkook."
"I can't marry you."
"I know that. Tell me what's the plan."
"I'll just say you've been betrothed to someone else. How does this work?"
"A Knight has asked to marry me Jungkook, not a prince. Kang Daniel is a lower rank than you, so you can't use that excuse."
"Fuck, I don't know."
"I don't know either. But we'll figure something out. We don't have much time Jungkook..." she shifted her weight from foot to foot.
"I know Jihyo. I'm trying, I really am."
"I am too. My father is depending on this marriage. But, if you find someone else..."
"They won't let me not choose you Jihyo. They won't accept that I won't marry you."
A small gasp was heard, and both Jihyo and Jungkook stopped, opening the door they were speaking behind. Jimin shrunk, his shoulders rising, head lowering; a look of shame.
"Jimin, why were you listening in?" Jungkook stood tall, anger evidently showing.
"I heard voices and I was going to ask you to show me back to my room but you were having a conversation and I didn't want to interrupt but I didn't know it would be an important moment and I didn't mean to-" Jimin rambled, desperately trying to clear the air.
Jungkook held up his hand to gesture him to stop talking. Jihyo held a concerned face.
"Jimin. I don't mind that you know. I just need to you not speak a word to any of the people inside, or outside of this castle. Do you understand?"
Jimin nodded, his cheeks red with embarrassment and shame.
"Then please, find a maid to help you get to your room."
"No, it's okay Jungkook. You can show him. Will I see you tomorrow?" Jihyo carefully touched his arm.
"Come for dinner again. It's always good to see you." He nodded at her, before hugging her. She left to find her carriage.
Jungkook watched her go before turning to Jimin again. He walked without a word.
"I'm really sorry."
"Don't. I don't want you to apologize. I think you've learned quite a lot today. Perhaps you should be quiet and think about it."
"Okay." Jimin whispered.
The rest of the walk was silent.
____
Jungkook could feel his body shake. Jimin had learned so much. Though nothing had been spoken, Jungkook could tell. Jimin knew. Jimin knew. God, he probably thought he was disgusting, that he was awful, that he deserved his treatment, that he was a fake, that his marriage was useless, that he would become a useless king, and that this was all useless. All, entirely, useless. Jimin probably thought Jungkook himself was useless. Entirely, utterly-
"Jungkook! Hey, are you?...crying?" Jungkook turned to him in shock before wiping his eyes, looking down at his wet hands.
"Oh...I'm sorry. Sorry, let me just-" Jungkook quickly wiped his tears away, sniffing, before wiping more, and more, and more.
Jimin slowly took his hands and held them. Jungkook leaned his face into them. Jimin let him. "You're not used to so many people in your life huh."
Jungkook shook his head.
"Can we go see the moon? My castle doesn't have a good view, but I'm betting yours does. There's less pollution."
"Alright. I can take you to the best place." Jungkook started to lead the way, Jimin holding onto his hand as they walked. He walked them upstairs before they heard some voices. Jungkook put a finger to his mouth, a way to say be silent and moved them into a room, door ajar so they could see when they passed.
The Queen and a couple maids passed by. "Where is he? You lost sight of him? Exactly how did that happen?"
Jimin brushed away more of Jungkook's tears before they exited quietly and kept moving upstairs. They got to a safe spot. Jungkook led him up a little more, before they entered a large room. He led him to the balcony, opening the glass doors. The large balcony had a direct view of the moon and kingdom.
"Oh god...it's beautiful." Jimin walked to the edge, holding the ledge and leaning on it to be closer.
Jungkook leaned against the pillar. "This used to be my room when I was younger."
"Why would you ever move rooms?"
"I...wanted to be closer to the archery range."
"Jungkook. Please tell me more." Jimin didn't look at him.
"My father used to sleep in the room next to this one. I didn't want to be close to him." Jungkook moved closer to Jimin, watching him instead of the moon that Jimin was fixated on.
"Your mother and father don't sleep in the same room?"
"Oh, fuck no. They kinda hate each other. Their marriage was arranged, but unlike many others, theirs never fit. Disagreements, fights, a lot of anger. I didn't like hearing that at a kid, so I wanted to change rooms."
"Oh...did you have anyone to grow up with?"
"Yeah, my brother. He kinda actually found someone to stay in love with though, so he's with her. I don't blame him for not wanting to rule here."
"Why exactly do you have to rule now?"
"I..." Jungkook looked down, then up to the moon. "My father is sick. We haven't told people yet. He's on his deathbed right now. Mother doesn't think he'll make it, and he's intent on you teaching me everything. He's counting on you guys to make me a perfect King...but...to follow the laws, I have to marry first for me to become King."
"Jungkook..."
"It doesn't specify that it has to be a woman. Did you know that?" Jungkook tried his luck. Maybe Jimin wouldn't be disgusted with him. Maybe Jimin would accept him. But...what was he kidding. "Haha, sorry, it's just something I noticed-"
"Jungkook. Stop."
Jungkook froze cold, many thoughts passing through his mind. God, he hates me, he hates me-
"I'm okay with that you know. It doesn't bother me at all."
"What?!" Jungkook turned to him, eyes wide.
"Did you think I wouldn't be?" Jimin shrugged.
"Jimin. Please don't say anything about liking guys anywhere other than with just me. Please." Jungkook seriously asked of him, Jimin turning to him for the first time since the moon was present to him.
"Jungkook..."
"Jimin. I mean it."
"My company knows. You can be safe with them too."
"Really? That's amazing! How are they okay with it?"
"Yeah. My family too. They've raised me to be open to anything." Jimin laughed a little.
"God I wish." Jungkook laughed. "Guys are just...so much more attractive. Pretty boys. I like pretty boys." Jungkook watched Jimin. More thoughts ran through his head.
"I like strong guys. Guys I can feel protected by, but guys that are still soft and will cuddle me. I guess soft doms, or a nice switch would be nice."
"Doms? Switch?"
Jimin stared at him in disbelief. "Are you...are you joking? Are you kidding me?"
"Uh...no? What is that?"
"Something I'll teach you another day."
"Oh, okay. So it'll be a lesson?"
Jimin laughed a little. "Yeah, I guess it will be."
"Well...I'm going to be in huge trouble tomorrow. We should head to our rooms."
"Hold up. I wanna stare at the moon a little more."
"Jimin, please. We need to."
Jimin took one last glance before turning and walking with Jungkook. "What happens if you get in trouble?"
"A lot of time with my mother."
"Jungkook."
"This isn't something I want to speak about Jimin."
"Part of being a prince is being able to be strong."
"This isn't about being strong...it's different."
"How so?"
"I can't deny my mother if she calls me. And I cannot disagree with her, cause she's right. She always is."
"Jungkook-"
"Jimin. Drop it, please."
"Alright. Tomorrow I'd like to see the kingdom with you. That'll be our lesson."
"Oh, okay. Markets are in the morning, so we should go then."
"Sounds good." Jungkook led Jimin back to their rooms. "I'll see you tomorrow morning then."
"I guess so." Jungkook gave him one last smile before going into his room.
____
Jimin woke early, updating Namjoon. "He'll study with you today after we get back, alright?"
"Of course Jimin. I'm sure he'll love being taught." Namjoon rolled his eyes.
"Hey. Give him slack."
"I will. Language is tough."
"Make it fun. You know I hated it too."
"Oh what a joy that was."
"Eat before you speak so rudely, so that I can be upset at you instead of knowing you need fuel first." Jimin huffed before laughing. "I'm going to go out now. Do I look enough?"
"Yep. Vaguely gay."
"Perfect. Tell the others a good day for me." Jimin smiled and left Namjoon's room, knocking on Jungkook's door. Nothing. "Mmm."
"Are you looking for your majesty? He went down to the archery range. He must have forgotten time again." A maid spoke, making Jimin jump slightly. Had she been there all night?
"Ah, thank you." Jimin nodded to her before making his way down there. As he approached, he saw Jungkook, but not shooting arrows. He was sitting down with a maid, his shirt off. Jimin felt confused, but continued, his mission to go to the town with Jungkook his main priority.
He finally made it, and saw the maid bandaging him up. Jungkook noticed him and gasped, grabbing his shirt and hiding his chest. "Ah! I forgot the time!" He tried to shoo the maid away.
"No Jungkook, it's okay. Keep treating him." Jimin made eye contact with the maid and she continued.
"J-Jimin, don't worry about it."
"Are you going to tell me what happened?"
Jungkook pouted and looked down. "You really don't need to know. I'll be up when I'm ready. If you'd rather wait somewhere warmer." Jungkook set his shirt down.
"No, I'd rather keep you company." Jimin took a seat next to Jungkook, before peaking to see his back. "God Jungkook! What happened?!" Jimin stood to see it better.
"It's fine Jimin. I do dumb things all the time."
"Ah ah ah ah, you have to be more careful than that." Jimin stopped the maid. "Do you know how to properly sew a wound?"
She shook her head.
"Then let me do it." Jimin took the needle and thread before taking her spot. He sent her away.
"Jimin..."
"Jungkook, there are many things going though my head right now. This isn't from an animal, or a human, but it could be something a human could hold."
"Jimin."
"How often do you get outside the house?"
"Jimin."
"Do you have a safe place to be?"
"Jimin."
"Is this household toxic for you?"
"Jimin! I'm done with you-" Jungkook winced silently. "I'm done with you questioning what I live in. It is what it is."
"I'll make sure all your studies are in a safe place. We're going to town often. Most of what I can teach is there." Jimin finished up, wiping the rest of the blood away.
Jungkook flexed his back a little. "Mm..." he stayed sitting. "Thank you Jimin. It feels better."
"Are you going to tell me what happened?"
"Mother got angry. That's all."
"Jungkook..."
"Stop. Don't tell me a thing. I don't want to hear it, and I don't want to hear you say anything. I don't want to hear you say I deserve better. Because I don't. So please, don't." Jungkook stood and Jimin watched him.
"You want to learn something real quick? Something that's made my life as a prince so much better?"
"And what might that be?"
"That the only way to get what you want is to be confident about what you want."
"And what do you want Jimin? Where has that gotten you?" Jungkook turned to him, his demeanor sharp.
"I want you to start caring for yourself." Jimin stood to face him. "And so far, when I've been confident about a decision, people take me seriously." Jimin moved closer and glared up at Jungkook. "And you still have to take me to town."
Jungkook looked down at him and slowly smiled. "You're right, I do. Let me...mm...I need to change into my official clothes first."
"I'll go with you."
Jungkook put his shirt back on for the meantime, before slowly heading up to the castle. Jimin carefully took his hand as they walked.
"Why do you like holding my hand?" Jungkook glanced at him.
"Your hand is rough and bigger than mine. I like the way it feels."
"You like that it's rough?" Jungkook looked at him with confusion.
"I do. I like many things rough." Jimin looked at him. Jungkook still looked confused.
"Like rocks? I always like the smoother ones, they feel better."
Jimin bursted out laughing. "Yeah, I like the smooth ones too."
Jungkook smiled at his laugh, confused about what he was laughing about. "We can look at them when we get to town."
"Let's do that." Jimin covered his mouth with his free hand.
Jungkook finally got them to the castle. He heard footsteps and quickly let go of Jimin's hand. The Queen came around the corner.
"Ah, Jungkook, there you are. You're going to need to start your studies soon. I heard that you invited Jihyo for dinner again? How lovely! Your father would like to see you after your studies today."
"Yes mother."
"And please...wear your nice clothes." She looked him up and down before walking past them.
Jungkook let out a sigh.
"Why don't you like your nice clothes?"
"They're so...bright. It makes me stand out a lot. Well, I guess I can't avoid standing out if I'm going to be next to you."
Jimin blushed. "Oh?"
"Yeah. You stand out no matter what." Jungkook led them to his room. He started to change.
Jimin stood by the door and looked down, still blushing. "Thank you."
"Mhm." Jungkook changed into his prince attire. "You're just stunning no matter what. I bet you look good in any clothes."
"Jungkook...why are you complimenting me so much?"
Jimin watched Jungkook stutter in his movements. "...you're kind to me."
"Yes?"
"And I want you to know these things before you have to leave." Jungkook took a glance at him before blushing and looking down.
"Before I leave?"
"Before you have to go back. Whenever the training ends...um...the studies...the studies are just until I marry Jihyo. And if my father..." Jungkook stopped for a moment, swallowing his saliva. "Then I'll have to marry her immediately."
Jimin ran his hand through his hair. "Shit."
"But who knows. Perhaps he'll live." Jungkook turned to Jimin, and Jimin saw the hope in Jungkook's eyes. He was still young. Still full of life. Still full of a life that would be ruined if Jimin did nothing to help him.
"Town. Markets. Let's go." Jimin watched Jungkook smile.
"Of course." Jungkook led the way out to a carriage. Jungkook helped Jimin in first before getting in himself.
"Well, I'm excited. I rarely get to go out."
"So how did you get allowed to teach me?"
"My parents love being helpful, and you're a big kingdom. They thought that any help I would be willing to offer would help you on your way."
"They're so kind." Jungkook smiled softly.
"I like to think they are. They like helping. I've gotten that from them." Jimin smiled and watched Jungkook relax somewhat.
"You're right. You did get that from them. You're very kind." Jungkook looked out the window. Jimin swore he saw a small blush...and he intended to take it farther.
"Well, I enjoy helping you. There's something about you that makes me want to care for you." Jimin watched Jungkook's reaction, pleased when he hid his face. "Awww...is little Kookie embarrassed?" Jimin peered at him and Jungkook shook his head.
"Please don't...are you...flirting?..."
"Is there something wrong with that?"
"In my house yes..."
"And outside of your house? When it's just us?"
"I don't mind." Jungkook removed his hands from his face to look at Jimin. "I don't mind at all."
Jimin beamed with pride. "Then I'll continue. You're really handsome, did you know that?"
Jungkook's face erupted in color again. "J-Jimin, I thought you were supposed to be my teacher..."
"I am. I'll teach you how to be confident. When you can easily flirt back with me, I'm sure you'll be able to do anything else." Jimin leaned closer to him...Jungkook almost instinctively leaning closer as well. Jimin liked that. "And I'm sure..." Jimin ran his fingers up Jungkook's chest like a spider, grabbing his collar and pulling his face closer to his own. "You'll get the hang of it." Jimin whispered his words, carefully turning his head as if to kiss Jungkook. He wanted the reaction.
Jungkook's eyes widened. "Ah- haha, Jimin, you're crazy." Jungkook pushed him away and covered his face again. "You really shouldn't flirt with me. I- I don't mind it, but it's quite a dead end."
"Why do you think that?" Jimin moved back and crossed his arms.
"Cause! I can't marry you..." Jungkook huffed. "It's wrong."
"No it isn't." Jimin defended himself. "Do you think it's wrong?"
"Well, no, but I'm not right. I'm just...it's not going to happen. It can't."
"Remember Jungkook. If you want it, you can fight for it." Jimin became serious. He needed Jungkook to understand that it's okay to like guys...otherwise Jimin would have no chance being with him.
"I wish that's how it worked Jimin."
"Aaaarhg! Jungkook! You can be more than you are!" Jimin stood in their carriage.
"J-Jimin, calm down-"
"No Jungkook! I won't. You belittle yourself so much and I just want it to be better! So how about you start by giving yourself compliments. I challenge you to only speak well about yourself for the rest of the day."
"Challenge? That'll be easy if it's a challenge." Jungkook pff'd, rolling his eyes. "Just sit down. We're about here."
"Good." Jimin sat down, arms crossed.
"You're upset?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. Maybe he was starting to get comfortable.
"Mm..." Jimin huffed and looked out the window.
"Jiminie...don't be upset. At least I'm telling you things, right?"
"That is good. But you need to do more."
"Like what?"
"Like be okay with yourself."
"That's...ha, okay, fine. For today." Jungkook glared playfully at Jimin, knowing fairly well what Jimin was doing. "So what do I get if I win this challenge?"
"I dunno, a kiss?" Jungkook bursted out laughing. Jimin looked at him and smiled happily. "Is that not desirable?"
"Oh, no, it is. You're just so cute about it."
"Oh am I? I don't think I'm cute."
"You really are. I bet you're cute when you wake up all sleepy. I wonder if you're the type to become needy." Jungkook teased.
"Well I guess you'll have to find out." Jimin pouted.
"Well, if you're offering, I just might have to accept."
"Only if you're okay with all my needs."
"Oh, all of them?"
"Are you as dense as you seem or are you catching on?" Jimin leaned in to him.
"I'm quite dense, I'm certain you'll have to explain everything to me." Jungkook smiled at him. Jimin felt himself shiver.
"I'm not sure if your young brain would want to hear all of my ideas." Jimin leaned closer, speaking quietly.
"I'd sure like to learn though. After all, isn't it your job to teach me? Teach me everything I don't know?"
"Well, I'd like to see what you know first."
"Then maybe I'll take your invitation."
"Anytime."
"Anytime?"
"Oh yeah. I'm free whenever you're feeling up for it." Jimin smiled, tilting his head to the side.
"Ah...even if it's ungodly early morning?"
"Even then. I'll always be open to you." Jimin leaned back, Jungkook exhaling a little. "See, you're good at flirting."
"I try. You're worth it."
The carriage stopped, both Jimin and Jungkook lurching slightly. The doors opened, and both were helped out.
"Oh, Jungkook, it looks so fun already!" Jimin watched the people pass and stare. A lot were staring.
"Yes Jimin. I love it a lot...it's always lively on market day." Jungkook smiled to the people. They bowed back. "Come, I'll show you everything."
Jimin took his arm and let him lead. He could hear whispers going around.
"Oh wow, is that the prince?"
"Are they spectating us?"
"Are they together?"
"Jungkook's such a handsome young boy...he'll learn well and become the best King."
"I trust he'll become better."
"He's learning from him?"
"Quite handsome though..."
"A good King."
"A change of pace huh..."
"Market day? Perhaps they'll pay for what they get today...unlike that sorry-"
"Shush! The current king has ears all over. Be wary."
"He'll be just the same."
"He could be worse."
"He'll do better."
Jimin seemed to get a grasp of their feelings. The old king (or current) was not the best man in the world. They had hopes for his child. They needed him to change how things are. Of course there are doubts, but where aren't there? He has to become king. It was best for the entire kingdom. Maybe these people would have a better life.
"Jungkook, I wanna look at these." Jimin tugged him to a jewelry station. He carefully looked at all of the earrings and rings. "Ohhhhhh...how beautiful...do you hand make these?" Jimin looked up at the lady who ran the station.
"Yes your majesty. Please, take whatever pleases you." She bowed.
Jimin watched her and smiled happily. "How much are each?"
"Jimin, I'll pay for whatever you want."
"M-my majesty's! You need not to pay for anything...please, take what you want."
"I apologize for any way you've once been treated, but my lady, you worked hard for theses. I shall pay you for your work. That is how it shall be. If you will not let me pay, I will personally cover your entire expense to have this spot at the market and everyone else's." Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "I am not my father. Do not think you deserve to be scammed by a royal, simply because they are a royal."
Jimin smiled wider. Jungkook didn't need much studying. He was already a good person. Just not the person his father wanted him to be.
"M-my majesty..." she looked down.
"Jimin, you can get as many as you'd like."
"Really?"
"My treat." Jungkook smiled at Jimin then the woman.
"Wow...they're truly just so beautiful."
"Do you truly believe so my majesty?"
"I do! Real stones? Real metal?"
"Most authentic."
Jimin smiled happily once again and picked the ones he liked, ones he could never find back at home.
Jungkook payed her more than the price.
"Jungkook, you're kind. I could've payed for myself you know."
"Well I have to show hospitality. It's required of me. It's practically a date, yes?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him.
Jimin grinned. "I'd love it if it was."
"Then it is. Come, there's many more."
____
"Oh god Jungkook, this is a lot!"
"You asked for it all. I'm just showing you what you got." Jungkook dropped all of the bags on Jimin's bed, the jewelry and clothes covering the king sized bed.
"I did...oh god I have a problem."
"It's okay. It's new to you and different. So it's okay."
"It's all so pretty."
"Well, it compliments you."
Jimin smiled at him playfully with a small blush. "Oh does it?"
"Yeah, it does." Jungkook smiled back at him. God Jimin looked so good right now...so kissable, so fuck-
Jungkook blushed at his thoughts.
"Kookie, you good there?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm good." Jungkook cleared his throat, looking away from Jimin.
"Aww, am I that ugly?"
"No! No, you're not at all! It's just me. Don't worry." Jungkook looked down. How crude...his thoughts had won against his better judgement.
"What's on your mind?"
Oh fuck.
"Nothing."
"Lies Jungkook. I don't like lies."
Oh fuck.
"It's nothing Jimin."
"Jungkook...it doesn't look like nothing."
Look? Look? Fuck.
"L-look?" Jungkook looked up at Jimin. He looked him down...then back to his face.
"Yeah, look."
Jungkook blushed hard. "Jimin!" Jungkook turned his body away from him.
"Yes?" Jimin purred his words, starting to clear off his bed of things.
"How shameless..." Jungkook tsk'd and tried to calm himself down.
"But Jungkook! I wanted to hear what's on your mind." Jimin sat on the bed after he cleaned it. "Come here."
"Jimin. That isn't a good idea."
"And why not?"
"I have...other studies to start. Today was fun."
"Well...my offer still stands. Whenever you want."
"Thank you." Jungkook turned and bowed to him, not making eye contact to save himself as he left. He knocked on one of the others rooms.
"You may enter." Jungkook heard a voice and entered.
"Oh, Prince Jungkook. I'll set up my studies for you."
"What are we learning today?" Jungkook saw him set up a station at the desk. He carefully moved to it and sat down. "And what shall I call you?"
"My name is Namjoon. I've heard you've disliked learning languages, so I'm going to help you with it. Understanding neighboring countries languages, especially ones you trade with often, is an important skill. Hopefully you'll start to love it." Jungkook observed him.
"That's very kind of you. How many languages do you know?"
"Well, I know at least 5, and I'm currently learning two more. I'm an interpreter for Jimin."
"So does he know the languages?"
"Not yet. But he's learning. He's not to be king for quite a long time. But he gets regular training."
"Ah...alright."
They started their lesson. Jungkook struggled, but got the hang of some things. Namjoon gave him a paper to study and Jungkook thanked him. He went to the next room, knocking and entering.
"Ah! Jungkook, I'm Taehyung! I'll be teaching the arts! The best painters, and some history as well. After a little bit, I'll let you paint."
"Hello, I'm Seokjin. I'll be showing you how to cook, and how to smell poisons."
"Hello! I'm Hoseok, and this is Yoongi. He'll teach you piano and music eventually, but today he'll play for us so I can teach you how to dance. Have you ever done formal?"
Jungkook finished his lessons for the day and flopped on his bed, exhausted. He stretched. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. This is a lot." He carefully sat up. He felt sweaty from the dance and workout. He felt his headache from the new languages and history. And lastly, his heart ached from Jimin.
Oh god, Jimin, Jimin, Jimin.
He proved to be on his mind at all times.
Jungkook shook his head. He had to get ready for dinner and brainstorming with Jihyo. Lots of it.
How can they both get their happy endings? Besides the death of his father.
He heard the grandfather clock they had go off. Dinner time.
Jungkook decided to take a shower later (he took too long) and changed his clothes. He carefully went to the dinning room. Everyone was already there expect Jihyo.
"Has Jihyo arrived yet?"
"She cannot make it tonight your majesty." A maid quietly spoke to him, Jungkook sighing.
"Ah, thank you. Then I guess we can dine."
Food was piled into the room. Conversation sparked. Jungkook stayed quiet.
The 7 of them ate, all chattering about their days, Jimin excitedly talking about the market. "Jungkook was so nice! He brought me everywhere, let me get anything, paid for it all, and even tipped everyone. He was so good to me." He beamed, Jungkook blushing slightly. Jimin's voice seemed to snap him out of his spacing out.
"So a sugar daddy."
Jungkook choked on his food. Jimin covering his mouth and laughing. The table erupted in laughter at Taehyung's words.
"What?! Why are you booing me, I'm right!" Taehyung laughed.
"You're scaring the poor boy! Look at him!" Seokjin smacked Taehyung, Taehyung still giggling to himself, the rest of the table making fun of Jimin.
"You're using his money! What do you give him, pictures of your feet?"
"Stop! That's disgusting! He was just being kind!"
Jungkook was red as a beet, staring at his food, head low. He slowly looked up and looked at them all. They were still bickering and laughing, enjoying their meal still while enjoying each other. Quite a family...like one should be.
"Jungkook! How about me too? Will you buy me anything I want?" Taehyung made his voice go higher, mocking Jimin.
"I don't sound like that!" Jimin whined. "Jungkook, tell him I don't sound like that."
Jungkook widened his eyes at the sound of being brought into the conversation. Eyes landed on him. "But Jimin, he's right."
"Jungkook!" Jimin exclaimed, Taehyung laughing once again.
"Exactly! I know how you sound Jiminie, why did you even doubt me?"
"I could fire you in an instant you know."
"I'd love to see you try. You'd miss me as soon as I'd walk out the door." Taehyung smiled at him.
Jungkook watched them. They were such good friends. Good dynamics. Good banter. Good relationship. God, they were perfect together. Jungkook smiled. He would never win against that fight.
"If you'll excuse me." Jungkook pushed his plate away and stood from the table.
"Oh, Jungkook...where are you going?" Jimin looked at him as he asked, and Jungkook saw his eyes...slight hope? No, that was just his mind messing with him.
"I have to go to my father. He wished to see me yesterday and I forgot to."
"Alright. Send him our wishes." Jimin smiled at him.
Jungkook nodded and took a glance at everyone else. They all seemed to...watch him. Observing.
He quickly left, heading to his fathers room. Upon entering, he smelled the candles burning.
"Father? Are you awake?"
"Come in Jungkook. Sit."
Jungkook came into the room and sat by the bed.
"How were your studies today my son?"
"They were good. I actually quite liked them. Nothing at all like the old teachers." Jungkook smiled.
"Good. I think maybe a month of this, and longer on the language and you'll be set."
"Father..."
"Life is simple Jungkook. You must fulfill your own life with the wants of your kingdom. You live, till you die. You work till you die. A King's life is tiring, but if no one is to rule...chaos will ensue. Promise me you'll do better than me." His father turned his head to Jungkook and held out his hand.
Jungkook took it. "I think you can make it."
"Promise me you'll be better than me Jungkook. Promise me you'll make yourself happy."
"I thought you wanted me to-"
"No. I've spent a lot of time thinking here on this bed Jungkook. I described my life. Not what yours has to become."
"Please...don't make it sound like you're not going to make it..."
"Promise me Jungkook. Promise me you'll make yourself happy." He sqeezed Jungkook's hand, Jungkook looking down.
"I promise father."
"My son...I love you. I apologize for what I've done. I apologize for anything I've done that made you feel you could not talk to me or tell me things. Your mother says many things about you, but I think she might be wrong. Tell me about the prince."
"He's amazing father. He's kind hearted, friendly, and let's me be comfortable...I quite like him." Jungkook smiled thinking of Jimin.
"That time...that time you said you fancied men...you still believe that yes?"
Jungkook flushed, looking up at his father. "N-no Father, I told you that wasn't-"
"Son. If he makes you smile like that...then it's okay. I...apologize for making you think otherwise."
Jungkook gasped. "Father! Are you..."
"I'm serious." He coughed. "Ah...I believe it's time for me to sleep...can you visit tomorrow?"
"Yes, I can. I learned some cooking today...can I bring you food I've made?"
"That sounds lovely my son." He squeezed his hand once more before letting go. Jungkook stayed for quite a while.
Jungkook smiled and left the room. He started walking back to his room, shower in mind, but was stopped by his mother.
"Jungkook. You did well today. Thank you for not embarrassing our name. Continue this and we'll have no problems." She left without any other words.
Jungkook exhaled heavily, rushing back towards his room. He heard the grandfather clock go off. 3am?????? Shit. Shit. There was too much to think about.
Jungkook slowly got to his room...looking at Jimin's door. Did he really mean his words? Is anytime good?
He cautiously walked to Jimin's door. He gave a small knock, and then entered.
"Mmm...yes?" Jimin sat up from his bed, rubbing his eyes.
"Ah...sorry to wake you..." Jungkook whispered. Of course he was asleep! Why did you think he would be awake? Why did you-
"No, come in Jungkook." Jimin's words shocked him.
"Really?"
"I said any time. And I meant that." Jimin's voice was deep from sleep, and Jungkook followed it.
"I thought you were joking..."
"Of course not. I joke around most of the time, buuuuut...you're special." Jungkook could tell Jimin was smiling, though he couldn't see it. He carefully sat on the edge of the bed.
"I think you're more special."
"Naw...anyway...why'd you come?" Jimin grabbed the back of Jungkook's shirt and pulled him back.
"Ack!" Jungkook fell back, his head now in Jimin's lap. Jimin played with his hair. "I dunno...I just wanted to talk I guess."
"Then go ahead. I'm listening."
Jungkook closed his eyes. "My father is in low spirits of his health, but he's hopeful for me...he said he's sorry..."
"Woah. Are you going to accept his apology?"
"I think I will. He even smiled at me today. I think he's proud." Jungkook smiled a little.
"Then trust yourself. That's the best you can do."
"I'm going to cook for him and make him try what Seokjin hyung taught me."
"Hyung?"
"He insisted."
"You don't call me that."
"Well, I think about using it, but then I don't. Feels weird sometimes."
"Why?"
"Cause you're such a flirt. It makes me feel like I should give you nicknames instead."
"Mmmm...that's alright too. I had fun when we went out."
"I could tell."
"You'll make a great king."
Jungkook swallowed his saliva. "I don't want to become king."
"Well, when the time will come, you'll be a good one."
Jungkook smiled at Jimin's instant support. "Maybe. I'll need help."
"Your people already believe in you. All you need to do is believe in yourself."
"Mmm..." Jungkook sat up and got under the covers, cuddling up to Jimin.
"Oh?"
"I like sleeping in other beds. More comfortable."
"That makes it sound like you sleep around a lot."
"Ah! No, no I don't. Not at all actually." Jungkook blushed a little.
Jimin chuckled. "I know Jungkook, I was just teasing." Jimin moved down and cuddled Jungkook back. "Goodnight Jungkook."
"I'll leave in the morning. Just so you know."
"You can stay."
"I can't."
"Jungkook..."
"I can't."
"Okay...you're always welcome."
____
Jimin woke to the sound of a knock on his door. He cautiously sat up. "Come in?"
"Oh, you were sleeping, I'm sorry-"
"Jungkookie~ come here." Jimin whined, seeing Jungkook's shadow come into the room. "What time is it this time?" Jungkook had been coming to Jimin's room for many nights now. Every night after he would visit his father, he'd come to Jimin. They would sleep, cuddle, talk...but he'd always leave in the morning.
"It's 2..."
"And why were you up?"
"I talked to father again...and I couldn't sleep."
"Wanna talk and cuddle again?"
"Yeah."
"Come on in." Jimin opened up his blankets, Jungkook crawling into the space next to him. Jimin laid down with him. "How was your day?"
"Lots of studying. You went exploring today, so we didn't hang out much...but my father said he liked my food again. He said it could use some more flavor, but that it's really good for a beginner. He'd like to try it again."
"That's good Jungkook."
"Yeah. I think he'll make it."
"I have faith he will too."
"Mmmm." Jimin felt Jungkook place a hand on his thigh. Jimin let him, wanting him to initiate any physical contact other than hugs and holding hands. It was his choice to let him. "Is it okay to have feelings for you?"
"Do you have feelings for me?"
"They're not friendship. That's for sure."
"Then it's okay. I feel the same."
"I feel like...you care."
"I feel like you need the care. And affection."
"Yeah. I need affection." Jungkook's hand slowly moved, rubbing Jimin's thigh.
"You can touch me you know. It's okay."
"C-can I kiss you?" Jungkook stuttered, Jimin smiled. He was probably blushing.
"Of course. Sit on my lap sweetheart." Jimin sat up, Jungkook cautiously crawling onto his lap. "Not so hard. Right?"
"R-right."
"You're cute." Jimin held Jungkook's waist.
Jungkook put his hands on Jimin's face, holding his cheeks. He slowly moved closer, giving him a small kiss. "How much can I kiss you?" He whispered, his hands nervously shaking.
"More than that." Jimin moved his hands to Jungkook's, holding them tighter to stop the shaking. "Much more than that." Jimin moved forward and kissed him hard, taking his bottom lip in between his teeth, licking it over and kissing him again. He let the kiss go on, turning it into a slow one, before pulling away, nipping at his lips. Jungkook followed Jimin's lips away.
"You...know how to kiss."
"I do. Do you like it?"
"I do. I like it a lot." Jungkook kissed him again, his hips moving slightly from want. Jimin moved his hands to Jungkook's waist again, slowly moving it down. Jimin kept kissing him, moving in rhythm with Jungkook. He moved his hands to his ass, giving him a quick squeeze. "Ah! J-Jimin..."
"I'm sorry. Is that allowed?" Jimin raised his hands off of him, his instinct making him forget.
"D-Do it again." Jungkook, Jimin would assume, was bright red. Maybe it was good that it was dark.
"Okay. Kiss me again." Jimin make kissy noises, Jungkook laughing a little before kissing him. Jimin let his hands touch Jungkook again, groping his ass. He let himself feel and touch, squeezing and rubbing.
Jungkook let out small "mmmm" 's and "ah- ah" 's. Jimin kept touching him, yet wanting to feel him better.
"Ah, Jimin...Jimin...I'm...you're..."
"Yeah baby...I know." Jimin could feel his hard on, knowing Jungkook could feel it too. "You're just really good." Jimin hummed his words, Jungkook shivering.
"You think so?"
"You're a good kisser."
"Hmm..." Jungkook rolled his hips. "Am I good?"
"Yeah...really good." Jimin held back a groan.
"W-what do you want?"
"Are you open to suggestions? You're in charge here Jungkook."
"N-no, I want you to be in charge." Jungkook whined a little, keeping his hips moving.
Jimin groaned. "Don't let me be in charge. Things might escalate quickly."
"I want it to. I wanna show how special you are...you make me...excited."
Jimin laughed. "Jungkookie! How cute~ are you excited now?"
"Yes..."
"Well you can tell I am." Jimin laughed a little more, Jungkook rolling his hips again.
"Tell me what you want Jimin...please..."
"Tell me what's on your mind."
"I-I'm thinking about you and your body on mine..."
"Anything else?"
"Thinking about your voice...thinking about...about fuck, about your hands on me. I wanna be touched."
"Then how about you take off your pants?" Jimin gave him one last squeeze before letting him go, Jungkook standing up to take off his clothes. Jimin took off his own shirt, throwing it away from him. Jungkook got back on him.
"Mmm...you're fit..." Jungkook ran his hand up and down Jimin's chest.
"Just a little bit." Jimin laughed. "But you're more so...it's handsome." He let his hands run up Jungkook's thighs before going back to his ass, squeezing.
Jungkook yipped. "Jimin!"
"Yes darling?"
"Feels different without...with less clothes..." Jungkook spoke quietly. Jimin moved Jungkook closer against him.
"A good different?"
"Yeah...feels good..." Jungkook whined. "Keep doing it please."
Jimin smiled. "Alright. Tell me what you want." Jimin continued to grope his ass, Jungkook giving out small breathless whines. Jimin felt him lean into it.
"Mmm...I dunno much in this area...maybe you'll have to teach me?"
Jimin laughed. "Oh really? You seem to know how to move your body though."
"Was never taught."
"Guess you're a natural then." Jimin smiled happily, bringing Jungkook's hips against his. They let out a moan together, the contact of their growing bulges heating up their skin. "Ah, fuck Jungkook...fuck."
"How...how far do you wanna go?"
"You tell me Jungkookie. We're on your grounds."
"But Jimin, I'm not good at being in charge. I...I can't-"
"You can Jungkook. That's the thing."
Jungkook smiled and looked down, his hips losing motion. "I can't."
"Yes you can. All you need is a little...motivation." Jimin leaned forward, connecting their lips once more. He quickly let go, Jungkook following his lips.
"You really think so?"
"I do."
"Then...maybe we can...do it on a special day..."
"Well this is special to me." Jimin let go of Jungkook's ass.
"Me too." He whispered, Jimin understanding his decisions.
"Then let's sleep. Come here, wanna be close." Jimin let Jungkook get off of him, the two cuddling up to one another again. Jimin let his hands slide down Jungkook's back, down his to ass again, groping.
"J...Jimin...that's not letting me sleep."
"Feels nice."
"Oh does it now?" Jungkook did the same, grabbing Jimin's ass, squeezing and groping it.
"Ah! I- Jungkook, hold it." Jimin let go of Jungkook, gripping his back instead.
"Sensitive?"
"Fuck, no." Jimin grimaced, trying not to show how he felt.
"Oh Jimin. Lying isn't very good to teach." Jungkook growled, pulling Jimin by his ass against him. Their boners touched again, making both moan. "Fuck."
"Mmmm...Jungkook..." Jimin closed his eyes. "You're not helping us sleep."
"You antagonized. I just responded."
"A nice response, but now I'm hard and fucking ready to take you."
"Take me out somewhere to eat? How nice of you." Jungkook smiled playfully, Jimin rolling his eyes in slight annoyance.
"Take your virginity."
"Who said I still have it?"
"Do you?"
"...yeah."
"Then my point stands."
Jungkook kept groping his ass.
"So are you going to let me?"
"Naw...how big of a problem is it?"
"A big one now."
"Didn't know your ass was that sensitive."
"I'm a sensitive person."
"I'd love to find out your other spots then." Jungkook gave Jimin another squeeze, Jimin letting out a quiet moan.
"Well not tonight you aren't. I'm either going to go jack off in the bathroom or here."
"Lemme suck you off."
Jimin choked on his spit. "I'm sorry, what?"
"You don't want that? Okay then, goodnight." Jungkook let go of him turn around, back now facing Jimin.
"No no no no no no no, I didn't mean that. I wanna take your offer." Jimin desperately sat up, wanting Jungkook to move back towards him.
"Naw, you didn't take it the first time. Goodnight hyung." Jungkook got in a more comfortable position. Jimin watched with wide, horrified eyes.
"I- Jungkook, please."
"Goodnight."
Jimin exhaled pathetically. He could hear Jungkook laugh quietly. The bed moved from his shaking. "Jungkook! You're so mean!"
"God you're pathetic."Jungkook sat up again, tugging at Jimin's pants. He carefully took off his own clothes.
Jimin quickly tore off his pants and underwear, completely naked in front of Jungkook. Jungkook swing his leg over Jimin's thighs. Jimin could feel the heat coming from Jungkook. There was no way he was calm since they laid down. Jimin was about to reach out for Jungkook's face, but Jungkook acted first.
He wrapped his hand around Jimin's cock, slowly starting a rhythm. Jimin sputtered. "J-Jungkook, oh fuck, what're you doing-"
And Jungkook laughed. Laughed.
Jimin felt his face explode in color.
"Oh Jimin...baby...I'm trying to make you feel good. Seems like you're enjoying it, yes?"
Jimin nodded, letting out a small whine.
"Good." Jungkook moved closer on him, their cocks brushing together. Jimin moaned out as Jungkook included his own member in his movements. He started to move quicker once they were both together, Jimin feeling his body temperature wave off of him.
Jimin slowly started to pant, the heat becoming a need. "Jungkook, god, you feel so warm. S-so good, you touch so good- fuck." Jimin leaned back on the bed, his breathing becoming hitched.
"Are you close already? You feel warm. You like my touch? Do you?" Jungkook went up, and dug his nail in Jimin's slit.
"Ah! Jungkook!" Jimin moaned out, his head thrown back with his eyes half lidded. From all the teasing to being actually touched, he was on cloud 9, moaning Jungkook's name.
"Oh Jimin, for someone so experienced, I thought maybe you'd jacked off with someone before."
"Not together, oh Jungkookie!" Jimin cried out before covering his mouth. He shook slightly, trying hard not to be loud.
"Oh Jiminie...you're so cute." Jungkook shook his head, keeping his pace.
"Fuck, I'm close..."
"You don't last long."
"Haven't done much in awhile. And you're special." Jimin ran his hand through his hair, exhaling heavily.
"How special?"
"So very special. Fuck, fuck Jungkook."
Jungkook laughed a little, sending Jimin into bliss. His voice was so heavenly. So goddamn heavenly. His laughter was euphoric, his words felt like an angels, his body was so pure compared to this world, yet here there were, nothing but sin and moans.
"Oh Jimin...you're so good."
Jimin let out an exasperated laugh. "This is...I'm not-"
"Just cum already." Jungkook sped up his pace, Jimin moaning out and coming instantly. He kept a small pace going, Jimin taking Jungkook's hands off, hissing.
"Don't do it again." Jimin breathed heavily, his hair sticking to his forehead.
Jungkook hummed a smile. "Okay Jiminie."Jungkook looked down at himself. "Maybe a bath?"
"Filthy." Jimin exhaled and leaned back. "You should take one alone."
"Aloneeeee, that's so boring Jimin."
"Another time then?" Jimin tried to stretch out, pushing Jungkook a little.
"Okay...you promise?"
Jimin smiled. "I promise. Come back after your bath."
____
"Jimin! Guess what?" Jungkook laid on Jimin's bed, another night spent with him. Jungkook realized this is how most nights have been since Jimin had arrived.
"What?"
"My dad seems to be recovering! Jin hyung and I have been cooking more and feeding him our food as well. He's been saying our food is so much better than what the maids make."
"That's so good! Jungkook, how healthy does he seem now?"
"It's been about...a month already I guess? He's been doing better mentally so I think that's helping."
"But how much healthier?"
"A little bit. He's not as tired. And he's able to speak more."
Jimins face spoke a story all on its own.
"What is it Jimin?"
"Nothing. Just a concern."
"What's your concern?"
"Nothing yet."
"Okay...Jimin, you're making me worry." Jungkook carefully rose his head. "What's your concern?"
Jungkook watched Jimin's smile. He wasn't going to tell him. "Come here Jungkookie." Jimin held out his arms and Jungkook quickly embraced him.
"How long do you think we can stay like this?" Jungkook questioned quietly, unsure of himself.
"However long you wish Jungkook. I can stay here for at most a few years."
"Only? Jimin..." Jungkook exhaled and pulled Jimin closer.
"Jungkook." Jimin spoke quietly.
"What are we?"
"Do you want to be with me forever?"
"I like you. But it seems like...you wanna go home."
"Ah, this is technically a job you know."
"This too? Being with me is a job too?" Jungkook sat up and out of Jimin's arms.
"That's not what I meant Jungkook." Jimin sat up as well. Jungkook couldn't tell if his face held concern or not.
"Then what did you mean?"
"I meant being here. Teaching you is a job. Not being with you..."
"So once the job is over you'll leave."
"Why are you being rude about this? I'll letter to you, or try and visit."
"Jimin...you won't do that. You tend to live in the moment." Jungkook stood from the bed.
"Jungkook! Don't go." Jimin reached out, but Jungkook smacked his hand away.
"I'm just a moment too, aren't I? How many princes have you helped before? How many people have you made feel like they were just a moment of your life?" Jungkook felt his voice tremble slightly. "Why am I so attached to you? I shouldn't be." Jungkook shook his head, backing away from the bed.
"Jungkook-" Jimin started to stand, but Jungkook backed up more.
"No Jimin. Stay." Jungkook walked to the door.
"Jungkook! Don't leave. Please."
Jungkook left, not looking at Jimin's face. He didn't want to see it. He went straight to his room, quickly got a jacket and left to the archery range. He could've sworn he heard some running in the halls as he left.
Jungkook carefully took his time to practice his archery.
Shot, after shot, after shot, after shot.
Jungkook stayed there all night, shooting his anger away. Shooting his pain away. Why did he decide Jimin was perfect? Why did he decide that Jimin could heal him from everything he'd once been through? Because he showed him kindness? Basic, human kindness? What made Jimin any more special than anyone else?
Who was he kidding...
Jimin made him feel special. Jimin gave him a special smile. Jimin made him want to exist and be better. Jimin made him feel welcome in his own body. Jimin made him want to love.
Thwack.
Thwack.
Thwack.
Jimin made him happy. Jimin helped him learn without ridiculing him. Jimin had ways of making Jungkook become different. Jimin had Jungkook wrapped in his fingers without even knowing it.
Thwack.
Thwack.
Thwack.
Jimin...Jimin...
Jungkook collapsed slowly onto the ground, too exhausted to do anything else. He laid down, bow in one hand. His eyes stung.
"Why am I so stupid?"
"You're not stupid..."
Jungkook sat up quickly and looked towards the voice.
"Yoongi hyung...what are you doing here?"
"Jimin couldn't find you and sent us all out to find you."
"Oh. Sorry."
"You're not stupid you know."
"Sorry you heard that."
"Jungkook...come on. At least sit on the bench?"
Jungkook got up and slowly walked to the bench where Yoongi was sitting.
"Jimin's worried about you."
"No he's not..."
"Yes he is Jungkook. He likes to act cool and composed, but he's not. He's a sweetheart with a lot of emotions."
"But he never showed any when we were alone. Am I not special enough to see his emotions?" Jungkook stared up at the sky.
"He's uncertain about you Jungkook. He doesn't know if you want this."
Jungkook exhaled. "Yoongi hyung...I have to get married within the month. The date of the ceremony will be the day after I get married, if my father truly doesn't recover. Until then, I'll have to keep studying and learning."
"Jungkook...your whole life doesn't have to be planned out."
"With someone like my mother, I don't have a choice. I'll have to get married to Jihyo. And I'll have to be King. But...as long as she lives, she'll live here. She could control everything I do."
"Jungkook..."
"What am I supposed to do?"
"Marry Jimin."
"I can't...I...I can't...he isn't even...that's too much commitment for him. His kingdom...he doesn't want to be with me." Jungkook shook his head and hung it low.
"Jungkook...Jihyo isn't your end goal. Is she?"
"No. She's my best friend. But really...I'm not straight...and she loves someone else."
"Do you want to marry Jimin?"
"I've thought about it. But I don't know...he might tire of me."
"Then I guess you'll have to ask him, won't you?"
"No. No I won't. I think that maybe I just think I want him. I just don't want to be lonely." Jungkook spoke quietly, finally looking at Yoongi.
"He wants you."
"As what? A trophy? A husband? Or just another person to be with to not be lonely either?"
Yoongi smiled thinly. "I don't know that. He hasn't said."
"Is it for his kingdom? Does he want that power? Or is he wanting to move away from his house? Does he even have feelings for me? I won't marry him if he doesn't even love me."
"That's understandable Jungkook. Don't pressure yourself into it. It's a careful thing, love."
"Yeah? Do you know how it feels?"
"I do. You see, Hoseok and I are close friends. But I've always felt a little something more. I've always wanted to make his life better. When he was alone, I was there with him. When he wanted to do different things, I supported him. I wanted to give him everything he needed."
"You're saying everything in past tense?"
"Well, I fucked up. We had this...interview thing about our kingdom, the prince, and his people. And they asked why Hoseok and I always worked together, and he said I was a work partner. Just a work partner. Hoseok kinda...got upset afterwards?"
"Well...you two seem fine now...? What happened?"
"Well yeah. Everything is just fine. But Jungkook, it's not. I hurt his feelings, and I don't know why. But that asks the question...what does he think of us?"
Jungkook smiled softly. "Then you know exactly how I feel."
"I do. But the difference between us, is that I have hope that everything will turn out alright. Cause it's Hoseok. And I know that I've gotta clear the air."
"Well, I'm not sure what clearing the air is with Jimin. He doesn't seem to know what he wants, and I don't either."
"I can't speak for him, but I do know that he likes having you in his life."
"Okay."
Yoongi stayed silent.
"So...when are you going to clear things up with Hoseok hyung?"
"I'm not sure. He's spending his time with Taehyung instead of me...but I'm hoping I'll get a moment with him."
"That's understandable..."
"Will you ever try and talk to him?"
"Unless he has a solution for getting me out of marrying Jihyo, then no. He...I don't have any reason to go to him other than studies. After all, this is just a job." Jungkook spoke bitterly, grasping why he felt awful again.
"Oh Jungkook...did he say that?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
"He's trying to seem cool and composed. He probably wants you to make all of the first moves to your comfort."
"But what about him caring?"
"I don't know. I can't speak for him entirely. I just know how he tends to be."
Jungkook looked at the sky to guess the time. "I guess I have studies huh."
"Will you ignore him?"
"I will. He'll explain himself and try and snake his way out of me being upset."
"Okay, so if you were in his shoes..."
"I would've already told me what I expected. I know how relationships work. Obviously, he's used to flings."
Yoongi winced. "Yeah...he is."
"I'm not going to be a fling. I'm a prince. That could ruin my reputation. This kingdom deserves to stop worrying."
"You seem to have made up your mind."
"I have. Thank you for talking to me Yoongi hyung. I hope things go well for you and Hoseok hyung as well. You both deserve the world."
"Yeah. I'm glad you've cleared things in your head."
"We should head up huh."
"Yes. What you need is a long bath, and a long nap. We can postpone studies today for your health."
Jungkook laughed. "Mother would kill me if I did that."
"I wasn't joking. I won't teach you anything today."
"Then I'll learn some more from Namjoon and Taehyung hyungs at least."
"Mmm...how about only from Jin hyung? Cooking is much more basic than other studies."
"Come on...I gotta practice with Namjoon hyung at least..."
"Fine. Those two only."
"Okay. That sounds like a plan." Jungkook smiled.
"After a bath at least." Yoongi stood with Jungkook as the two headed up.
"Naw...baths and showers are for after you're done for the day." Jungkook squinted his eyes at Yoongi.
"I think afternoon showers are the best, cause then you're done for the day earlier and you get to do nothing."
"But what about activities?"
"I don't like exercising."
"Well, that explains it. You dance with Hoseok hyung though?"
"Well...I can't say no to him."
"Ah, that's understandable." Jungkook laughed a little.
"And how do you plan on denying Jimin? You seem to just follow him around like a puppy."
"Do I?" Jungkook grimaced.
"Yeah."
"I'll avoid him more then."
"Don't harm yourself in the process. This could hurt your heart."
"I'll be okay. I never lose."
Yoongi laughed heartily. "You're going to be an amazing King."
Jungkook laughed quietly. "I don't want to be King."
"Oh? That's news to me." Yoongi burrowed his eyebrows.
"Don't tell anyone, please. I'm...I don't know what I'm going to do."
Jungkook watched his reaction, hoping he wouldn't be upset. God, what if he thought all of this training was for a useless King. What if he thought-
"That's alright. If your father recovers, then it'll all turn out well."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Jungkook was shocked by Yoongi's reaction.
"Yeah. I guess I am." Yoongi gave him a smile before they entered the castle.
A rush of maids ambushed them. "Your majesty! Everyone has been looking for you! Please, report to your mother."
"Ah...sorry, but can you tell her for me? I have things I need to attend to." Jungkook smiled sheepishly.
"My majesty!" The maid whispered angrily. "The Queen is upset and wishes to speak with you."
"Still. I am asking you to tell her for me." Jungkook shrugged and walked off, knowing he had time for a bath.
As he got to his room, he heard running footsteps. He groaned and got his clothes ready for his bath before turning to the opening door.
"Jungkook!" Jimin showed a face of concern.
"Jimin." Jungkook dulled his eyes.
"I'm sorry."
"Thank you for apologizing. I'm going to take a bath, so please, let yourself out."
Jimin winced. "Jungkook, I'm so sorry for making you feel bad. I didn't mean what I said, and I didn't mean for you to take it that way."
"Prince Park. I'm not going to fight for you. I just...lusted for you. But it's not feelings. I liked your comfort, and I liked your voice. But it's just...infatuation." Jungkook looked down.
Jimin's eyes teared up. "Jungkook..."
"I'd like to take a bath now."
"I think I love you."
Jungkook pursed his lips for a moment. "I don't think I love you."
Jimin left the room quickly, closing the door. Jungkook felt his stomach hurt and went to take his bath, forgetting his studies.
____
"So...it didn't go well." Jihyo spoke as soon as the two were alone.
"It didn't go awfully. Just...not as I had planned it. I never say anything right out loud, even though I plan it in my head." Jungkook pushed back his hair in slight annoyance. "And we haven't spoken in a while."
"Jungkook...how long is a while?"
"A couple weeks...we haven't even been together for my teachings..."
"Is he eating at dinners?"
"I've been out for dinners a lot, so I'm guessing yes."
"Oh? You've been out for dinners?" Jihyo smiled and pushed his shoulder. "Look at you, getting out of the castle."
Jungkook laughed quietly. "Jin hyung has been taking me places to eat to forward our progress."
"So it's work related and not fun?"
"No, it's fun. Jin hyung is...something else. He's so elitist but in a nice way. You know? And sometimes Yoongi hyung or Namjoon hyung will join us."
"I'm glad you're having fun at least."
"How's the engagement going?"
"Ah...yeah...about that...Jungkook, my mother asked to meet your mother and see how quickly we can marry." She looked down.
"Jihyo..." Jungkook exhaled heavily, looking down as well. "Fuck."
"Yeah, fuck."
"Jihyo!"
"I can curse if I see it fitting!"
They giggled before realizing the situation again. "Ah, right...marriage."
"Right. I don't know how to call it off. An illness? Run away? Just marry-"
"Fuck, Jihyo...I could...propose to Jimin..."
"You don't love him though?"
"I don't dislike him. But...I can't ask him that now." Jungkook exhaled heavily. "He even offered before he said I was part of the job."
"Jungkook...he confessed his feelings to you, thinking that would clear the air, but instead you turned him down. Don't rub salt in the wound."
"You're smart and I love you. Thank you for being my best friend. Can you...postpone our mother's meet up? Your mother listens more than mine does."
"You're right..."
"Aren't I always?" Jungkook gave her a cheeky grin.
"No, you're not." She scrunched her nose in retaliation. "You should apologize to him."
"Why?"
"He's really hurt from you just throwing his feelings away. I'm sure there's more I don't know, but he's most likely upset about something. You should just...clear the air."
"I...I- yeah. You're probably right."
"Aren't I always?"
____
Jimin heard a knock on his door and positioned himself better at his desk. "Come in?"
Jungkook walked in slowly, head hung low. "H-hey Jimin...can we talk?"
"Of course." Jimin felt shocked that Jungkook was here. Here at all, here wanting to be in his presence. Here wanting to talk to him. Here, walking towards him.
Jimin swiveled in his chair to face Jungkook, who stood in front of him. "I'm sorry Jimin. I handed your feelings poorly, and I assumed a lot of what you said, and I just...I'm sorry." Jungkook bit his bottom lip.
Jimin watched him. "I'm...sorry for making you feel horrible. What I said and how you took it, I'm sorry for that."
"Jimin, stop apologizing, when it's obviously my fault."
"We're both at fault here Jungkook."
"No, it's my fault. You, you're perfect. And I can't...I can't be with you because I just want to...to be with you..." Jungkook breathed heavily. "I know that I'd do whatever you would tell me to do, I know that we'd argue a lot, I know that I'm a lot of work and that I shouldn't let myself get in a relationship, and I know that I think you're amazing but..."
"But what Jungkook?" Jimin whispered, slowly reaching out his hand and taking one of Jungkook's.
Jungkook slowly started to cry, quiet sniffs filling the room. "I'm sorry Jimin. I just want to be okay with l-loving you but I'm not. I want to be able to love you and love on you and treat you well, but I'm a kid with mixed feelings."
"Who called you a kid? You're not. You're so amazing Jungkook, and I know we don't have much time to think of a solution because of arrangements, but I...I think I'm willing to wait for you." Jimin stood, taking both of Jungkook's hands and wiping his tears.
"J-Jimin." Jungkook hiccuped. "I'm supposed to m-marry Jihyo in a week..." Jungkook gulped, his eyes glued to the floor.
"Jungkook, that's not...I...I can't help you if you don't want me."
"But I do! I, I get possessive and jealous over people who are close enough to get affection from you, and I want to kiss you and make you smile, and I want your attention on me all the time, and I want you to...just, love me." Jungkook sniffed harder.
"Then why did you say you didn't love me back?" Jimin felt his heart beating faster, his hands shaking.
"I think I fell in love with the idea of you."
"But what about now?"
"I...I don't know. But I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Jungkook pulled Jimin into a hug, crying softly into his hair. Jimin hugged him, rubbing circles on his back.
"It's okay Jungkook. You don't have to apologize." Jimin continued to rub his back, understanding his confusion.
"I just want to- to understand."
"Feeling are hard to understand when you haven't felt them before. I'm not sure what's going on for you, but I know that much." Jimin smiled.
"Don't smile like that." Jungkook sniffled.
"You can't even see it!" Jimin smiled wider, hearing a soft chuckle from Jungkook.
"I know. But I know what it looks like."
"Mhm. Sure you do."
"I do. I've memorized it."
Jimin let out a surprised oh! before trying to look at Jungkook's face. "You have?"
"Y-yeah. It's...cute...and kind." Jungkook continued to hide his face.
"How is it kind?"
"Cause. I can see how much you care by your smile."
"Then you know how much I care about you."
"Is it out of pity?" Jungkook asked quietly, and Jimin dropped his smile.
"Jungkook, no. I'm genuine about my feelings for you."
"It always felt like...you had this playboy atmosphere. Like you've dating around and we're just helping me cause you could see how broken my family was. You know? Like, most people would try to get out of this kind of situation. I would."
"I've been through bad. I know this isn't the worst."
"You've has to stitch my back up. What's worse than that?" Jungkook laughed painfully, and Jimin's heart ached.
"You dying? That would be worse."
Jungkook laughed more heartily. "I guess."
"So Jungkook...what are we?"
"I don't know." Jungkook hung his head again. "I think you're amazing? And kind. But...would we even work out?"
"Relationships are about communication."
"And obviously we're shit at that."
"We could put the work into it."
"Being with me means being king with me Jimin." Jungkook looked at Jimin.
"I know." Jimin smiled at him. "I'm not afraid of that."
"My mother won't approve."
"I'm willing to fight."
"My kingdom might not approve either."
"They trust you."
"You say things like you know everything."
"I just know they do."
"So if I asked you to marry me you'd do it?"
"I would. You're not like anyone else I've ever met. You're not a fling. You feel like a future."
"And it wouldn't be for your kingdom, and it wouldn't be for my kingdom. It's cause you l-love me?"
"Yes. It's because I love you for who you are. I want to be there for you and make your life better."
Jungkook softened. "Just like Yoongi hyung."
"Hm?" Jimin tilted his head in confusion.
"That's what Yoongi hyung said about Hoseok hyung. He said he wanted to make his life better."
"Oh. Oh, my god. They're in love?"
"Are you an idiot? Yes. They are."
"Oh." Jimin held a face of concern. "Gosh, I've just been so out of it. I didn't even realize."
"He said it's been going on for a while."
"Well, we can help them later, but tell me Jungkook...can you accept me as your friend again? And will I be an option...as a suitor?"
Jungkook snickered. "You sound so professional."
"This is a professional topic!"
"Oh, is it. I would've never noticed." Jungkook rolled his eyes with a smile on his face. "It's only our future."
"And I want a future with you." Jimin looked at him, finally getting out of his hug.
"Do you truly?"
"Yes. I truly do."
"Then you'll marry me?" Jimin could barely see Jungkook's eyes in the dark, but he could feel his hope. That maybe...maybe finally...something will go right.
"Yes. Yes, I'll marry you." Jimin smiled to reassure Jungkook. "I want to be with you."
Jungkook took a shaky breath. "Okay. And you're really...really willing to go through all the steps to become my King?"
"Of course. I want to be with you."
"Okay then." Jungkook nodded before smiling. "Betrothed. We need to prepare things."
"Jungkook, it's late. We should sleep first, don't you think?"
"Maybe...I should head back to my room though." Jungkook looked away.
"Why's that?"
"Well, now we're engaged. So that changes things."
"Does it? We don't need a chaperone."
"I know. But...well..."
"Well?" Jimin prodded him on.
"Well, I should head back. I'm glad you talked with me." Jungkook laughed nervously.
"I don't even get a kiss?"
"Oh Jimin. You'll get as many kisses as you want when we're married. But right now...I've gotta make some letters and prepare many things."
"...is there anyway I can help?"
"My father would like to meet you. You can meet with him tomorrow?"
"With or without you?"
"Without. I'll go to give him food and then we can leave."
"I-okay..."
"It'll be fine. He should be excited to finally meet you."
"Alright. Hopefully it'll go well." Jimin nodded.
"It should. Now...really, I need to write a letter to Jihyo. She needs to come over tomorrow. And I'll speak to my mother tomorrow too."
"Do you want me to be there?"
"Maybe."
"I don't want you to be harmed again."
"This decision is putting ourselves in harms way..."
"But it shouldn't be! Jungkook...we're not weird or different. It's just love."
Jungkook's face smiled. "Just love huh? How beautiful. Come on, let's go write a letter."
____
Dear Jihyo,
It's been decided. Jimin and I will marry, and you can have your knight in shinning armor. In an attempt to make this come true, please come over tomorrow for a talk with my mother. It will be us three to speak with her. We have a chance if it's all three of us I think.
Also, Jimin says hello.
;)
Don't be late my dear. A riot will ensue.
"Oh dear god. He's really done it."
____
"Okay Jungkook. I'm off to see your father." Jimin nervously held Jungkook's hand.
"You'll be okay." Jungkook lifted his hand and kissed it. "He's excited."
"Okay. I'm nervous, but I can do this." Jimin nodded before walking off.
Jungkook went straight to his studies.
First Namjoon, then Taehyung, then Yoongi and Hoseok. This time learning more piano, and singing. He watching Hoseok sing with Yoongi. They definitely fixed something. Or so it seemed.
Then, Jin.
"Hey, Jungkook. You ready for lunch?"
"Yes! What is it today?"
"Dunno. But if we wanna beat the maids before we gotta think of something quick."
"A soup then?"
"Mmm...let's do it."
"He likes hearty foods."
"Potatoes and meat it is."
The two quickly washed, cut, and made a soup, adding more proteins into it on the way.
"Perfect! I love it." Jin smiled. "You're learning well."
"I have a good teacher."
The two watched a maid come out of the other side of the kitchen, wheeling a trey of food
"Oh! Miss, we're feeding him today." Jungkook went over, stopping her. Jin made a trey of their food.
"Your majesty...the king has been eating your food almost exclusively and the queen requested he eat the maids soup once again to keep regularity within his meals."
Jungkook smiled. "He said our food is helping him though. So we won't be needing that. Tell my mother no." Jungkook picked up the bowl of soup, leaving another bowl of leftover soup on the trey.
"Your majesty..."
"Yes?"
"Please let me take it to him."
"Mm...no." Jungkook sniffed it and his eyes widened, dropping the bowl immediately.
"Your majesty!"
"Jungkook! Are you okay?" Jin looked over in surprise, having jumped at the sound.
"Y-yeah. Miss, please go back to your room. I demand it."
"Yes your majesty." She bowed and left.
"Jin, smell the soup." Jungkook looked in alarm at the other bowl.
"Okay..." Jin went over to smell the soup and immediately moved back, covering his nose. "The amount of poison in that is enough to notice! Jungkook- I..."
"Do you know who made the soup? Do you have any knowledge of the maids who cook in here?"
"O-of course, I make lunch with them every day. I'm...there's no one who would do that. Everyone just follows-"
"The queens orders..." Jungkook finished Jin's sentence. The two looked at each other with wide eyes.
"Oh my god, what do we do with this information?! I have to stop this...I...how do I..." Jungkook started to freak out.
"Well this is our only proof so we have to keep it. You take your father food, I'll bring this to Namjoon's room for now. I'll tell all of us about it, the more people who believe us the better. That maid too, I'll question her. You deal with what you have to."
"O-okay..."
"You have other things on your plate. Ah, sorry, bad time for a pun." Jin laughed nervously. "I'll go. You go to Jimin and your father."
Jungkook nodded, and the two separated, each with their food. He stayed silent the whole time, too caught up in his thoughts. Jungkook entered the room, almost dropping another bowl. "Dad!" Jungkook set the bowl down on the bedside table. "You're standing!"
"I am! Isn't that amazing? I've been feeling so much healthier."
Jungkook stared at his father before looking at Jimin who was smiling. "What took you so long?"
"Oh. The uh, the soup took a while longer than we thought it would. You should eat up dad." Jungkook smiled at him.
"Come here son." Jungkook was struck with fear with those words. He shook his head quickly.
"E-eat first. Please."
Jimin seemed to notice. "You should eat your majesty. You're already late for your meal."
"Oh alright." He moved back onto the bed, eating the soup. "It's delicious as always son. Thank you."
"Of course. I'll be back for dinner." Jungkook gave a smile and left, Jimin saying his goodbyes before leaving as well.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. Yeah. Just...those words are bad."
"Ah, okay."
"Did you um...did you tell him?" Jungkook and Jimin walked, Jungkook leading them to Namjoon's room.
"I did...and he's supporting it. You're right about him being excited to meet me haha!" Jimin laughed happily, before seeing Jungkook's expression. "Hey, is everything alright?"
"Um...I'll explain it when...we get to Namjoon's room."
"Can't you tell me now?"
"Jimin...it's a private matter."
"We're alone, aren't we?"
"My mother has maids everywhere...I don't think we're ever alone."
"It can't be so bad, can it?" Jimin had a nervous smile.
"Jimin, mother has been poisoning my father. And I think she put just a little too much in his food because Jin and I could smell it. I think she was trying to speed up the process." Jungkook nervously played with his hands. "...I don't know what to do."
"Oh...oh god..."
"Yeah. Uh, I just...yeah." Jungkook nervously looked around, Jimin wanting to comfort him.
"Okay. We'll work through it."
"Jungkook. Speak with me." The Queen's voice pierced the air, cold and harsh.
"Jimin, go to Namjoon's room. I'll talk to her." Jungkook whispered, before speaking louder to his mother. "Of course mother."
She walked into one of the rooms, Jungkook following after getting a worried look from Jimin.
"I heard you broke a bowl today. Why such a harsh reaction? You know those are expensive."
"Mother, it was an accident. It simply slipped through my hands." Jungkook lied, holding his tongue.
"That's not what I heard from the maid. She said you accused the soup of having poison, didn't you son?"
"And if I did?" Jungkook raised his voice. "What good does giving poison to my father do for us?"
"It'll make me in a position of power." She snarled. "Once he's gone, and I cancel your marriage, you're all that's left. Because you're weak, and this kingdom needs someone who can rule. Your father couldn't, and neither can you." She shook her head. "And if he somehow died...it's not like the kingdom would care. He was horrible to them."
"They trust me. I've read enough books to know how this works. I'd have to get married either way. You'll never become the highest here." Jungkook spoke back for the first time in his life. "I'm engaged already."
"Jihyo doesn't want to marry you. Look at you." She looked him up and down. "Just as low as a commoner. Really son, I'm doing us a favor. You'll have a nice house to live in, whatever you'd like to-"
"I'd be fatherless! And lonely! And any house with you in it is horrible." Jungkook shook his head.
"Tch. It's not like anything you say matters."
"I'm engaged to Jimin." Jungkook stood his ground, his hands shaking.
"What?"
"I'm engaged to Jimin. We're getting married at the end of the month. That's two weeks from now. I'll prepare everything. And I don't expect you to be there."
"You little bitch." She walked forward to him, most likely to harm him, but he moved away quickly.
"I'm going to rule here mother. And once I do you're gone."
"You'll do no such thing!"
"I'll do what I please." Jungkook ran out of the room, his mother screaming behind him. He ran on his adrenaline to Namjoon's room.
"Fuck!" Jin cursed as soon as Jungkook ran in. "Knock at least!"
"Shush! My mother truly has been poisoning my father and I think we need to split up and be with my father and keep the evidence. She's upset and I don't think she's incapable of murder. Who's the fastest here?" Jungkook heaved his words, his heart pumping fast.
"Me!" Jimin ran immediately out the door with Jungkook, the two going as fast as they could to his fathers room.
"Fuck." Jungkook felt himself get tired, adrenaline the only thing he was running on.
"A little more!" Jimin also felt himself become tired, but if Jungkook was right...
____
"So...what should we do?" Taehyung carefully asked after the two ran out.
"Call the police? Is this enough evidence?" Yoongi pointed to the soup. "It does stink of it."
"It should be. And the maid uh...I can't fine her. So that's suspicious." Jin shrugged. "She must've known."
"We could always lie..." Hoseok spoke quietly. "But I don't think we'd be very good at it."
"What do you mean? I'm a great actor. And so Is Jin hyung." Taehyung huffed. "We just need to...wait, Jungkook said his mother confirmed all of this. They could just...ask him."
"Okay, but evidence guys. A handprint, a tool, something that can be traced. That's what we need to find." Namjoon finally spoke up.
"Ohhhhhh, Mr. Detective hereeee." Jin mocked him playfully. "That's a good idea." Jin added quickly.
"Then we should split up more...? Some of us stay here and the others go to the kitchen?"
"Yeah. Uhh...Jin you find things easily. Namjoon, you too. Tae, do you wanna stay here or go adventuring?" Hoseok decided for them, after they all stood silently.
"Adventure!" Taehyung opened the door and walked out.
"You know how to fight. I shouldn't be worried. But if we come back and you two are making out, I'm going to kill you." Jin put two fingers out towards them, then to his eyes, then back at them.
"Fuck off." Yoongi rolled his eyes with a blush.
"Stay safe." Jin gave concerned eyes before leaving with Namjoon.
"Damn...he's really serious..." Hoseok shifted uneasily. "What do you think might happen to us?"
"Yeah, he is. I don't think anything will happen. But it kinda sucks that we can't do anything else."
"Oh...yeah. You'd rather not spend time with me huh." Hoseok gave an uncomfortable laugh.
"Hoseok, you know that's not true. I apologize for what I said. At that interview. I'm sorry I panicked so badly. I wasn't ready for the whole world to know I love you, and I just...I know I messed up. And I'm sorry we had to pretend everything was fine. I'm sorry."
"Oh."
____
"So like...a spoon?"
"Ladle." Jin corrected Namjoon. "Ladles are used for soup."
"Fancy spoon."
"It's a ladle."
"Tomato tomato, potato potato. Same thing." Taehyung shrugged. "As long as we can find something."
"Mmmm...it must've been washed and put away."
"She didn't have gloves...and a poison like that must've come from a larger portion. If it's possible to search the queens room. Or if there's something here."
Namjoon opened the spice cabinet and exhaled deeply. "Jin, you're gunna have to sniff a lot of spices."
"I am your hyung."
"You are my husband."
"Mm, fair argument. Fine. Let me sniff." Jin went to the cabinet and started taking them down and sniffing them one by one.
Taehyung rummaged through the draws, trying to find a ladle. He had gloves on luckily.
"Oh god...how is this enough for the police? When I said it, it sounded like a good idea. If...we find the maids handprint, we won't have anything against the queen besides Jungkook's word. If we get evidence for the maid, she can blame it on the maid..."
"Um...frame her." Taehyung spoke easily. "Both are equally guilty."
"Ew!" Jin covered his nose.
"Find it?" Namjoon and Taehyung smiled happily, hoping their work was done.
"No, just expired." Jin threw the plastic bottle in the trash before continuing to sniff.
"Jesus." Taehyung continued looking. "Are we allowed to trash this place? Can I...throw things on the ground..."
"Why? Why do you want to?" Namjoon looked at him with confusion, hand on his head. "There's literally no reason to."
"What's a ladle again?"
"Fancy spoon."
"Jesus fuck you guys."
____
Jimin laid on the floor.
"Are you going to explain what this is about?" The king asked carefully, the two completely out of breath.
Jungkook held up a finger, hunched over with his hands on his knees.
"Understood." He sat up, his food eaten.
"M...mother has been trying to kill you..." Jungkook caught some of his breath. "Poisoning your food."
He sat silently, Jimin finally sitting up. "We think she's capable of murder and is a major threat."
"And you haven't called the police."
"She can talk her way out of things. We're getting evidence first."
"Ah...so you're staying here with me for now."
"Safety measures your majesty." Jimin smiled as he stood up.
"I doubt she could win against you both."
"Her maids are vicious." Jungkook scowled. "So I wouldn't feel safe yet."
____
"So you don't hate me...?" Hoseok lifted his hopes.
"Of course I don't!" Yoongi sounded bewildered. "I love you."
Hoseok went wide eyed. "You love me?"
"I do. You're my everything."
"Fuck."
"You're just so pretty and perfect and absolutely everything I want to be with. You're beautiful." Yoongi smiled softly, and Hoseok blushed.
"You think I'm beautiful?"
"Who wouldn't? And if they don't, they're wrong. You're perfect." Yoongi looked down. "But if I've messed up enough-"
"No! No no no, I...I love you too. I'm sorry I faked being okay. I'm sorry I lied. I'm sorry I-"
"Shh. You're not in the wrong." Yoongi watched Hoseok smile.
"Thank you."
"Of course. Now let's just hope everyone else is doing okay."
____
"Jin, the least you could do is not throw every spice on the floor!" Namjoon felt his brain lose brain cells.
"They're not what I'm looking for, and it's more dramatic this way."
"You're not in a drama!"
"I should be." Jin retorted, finishing up half the cabinet.
"I've found nothing." Taehyung huffed. "She either took everything she made the soup with, or we just don't know what we're looking for."
"Understandable. If the poison is in here, that should be enough, plus Jungkook's words. It would be nice to find the maid though."
"I could remember her face if I saw her, but she could've gotten away by now."
"Keep smelling away." Namjoon rolled his eyes.
____
"You want us to call the police now? We still don't have evidence."
"We're giving her time to get away."
"It's...if she leaves it's fine. If she stays, she can go to jail. Both options are perfectly fine with me." Jungkook shrugged. "I'm not letting her win again."
"Aww, look at you." Jimin gave him a playful push. "Growing up."
"I'm grown already..."
"Shush you two." The king shook his head. "You should call the police. The quicker we're not in danger, the better, no?"
"Mmmmm...I hate phone calls." Jungkook nervously paced.
"Oh for Christ's sake, I can make a damn phone call." Jimin rolled his eyes. "Where's a phone?"
"Oh...next room over. Will you be okay? I'll just stand outside just in case."
____
"Okay. Okay, I'm good now." Hoseok cleared his throat. "You...you surprise me daily."
"How so?"
"By how much you can say to me without dying."
"Because. You're beautiful. That's just a fact."
"I...god. We need to focus." Hoseok tried to recollect himself.
"It's...not like there's anything else happening..." Yoongi spoke quietly.
"Okay, but I'm panicking and I think if I focus I won't panic as much."
"Need a hug?"
"Yes." Hoseok said exasperated. "Everything went to shit so fast."
"No kidding."
____
"Oh my god!" Taehyung groaned. "End me already! How are you two married?! You're insufferable!" Taehyung watched them bicker for the better of the last half hour.
"Oh I'm insufferable. He's the only insufferable one." Jin rolled his eyes.
"Oh me? Me? Look at you!"
"Yeah, look at me! I'm gorgeous!"
"Oh my god." Taehyung covered his ears and looked down. If he had to hear Jin compliment himself one more time...he saw one of the cupboards under the sink had a little something hanging out of it. He went over to it and opened it, showing a paper. "Oh. Look at this!" Tae saw it barely missed the trash can. "Dropped on accident."
Namjoon went over to him and looked over his shoulder to read it. "Oh god...this poor maid...taking these orders..."
"What is it?" Jin asked.
"It's a list of orders from the queen to the maid." Namjoon spoke calmly. "I think this is what we need."
"Oh god!" Jin covered his nose. "This is it. Fuck that's strong." He coughed and took the spice down. "This is such a mess."
"And you know exactly why it is a mess." Namjoon rolled his eyes. "But thank god you found it. It would've been too suspicious to have to bring it to every meal and then take it back with her. Let's get back to Yoongi and Hoseok, and then we can start investigating some of the maids. See if they know her."
"Am I going to have to...go with you two again or what?"
"Let's find out. You might get a bigger job this time."
____
"Okay, they've been called. I think...Jungkook, I think you should stay here and I should go down and tell everyone the police are coming. We should find your mother and make sure she doesn't get away. Or find that maid. Or something. You can protect him." Jimin tried to reason with Jungkook, but Jungkook shook his head again.
"Why can't we all three head down?"
"That's not bad. But can he walk for that long?"
"I can support him."
"We'll be slow is all...and I know you'll want to move fast. We ran up here, and I'm assuming you want to run down."
"I'm scared...so yes."
"Then we can go slow. We'll be fine." Jimin smiled reassuringly.
"We'll be fine." Jungkook smiled back. Oh what a world it was to live in where Jimin smiles at you.
"Okay." They both walked back into the kings room. "Your majesty, can you walk?"
"For a bit, yes."
"We want to move you into a safe space."
"Then by all means let's."
The three made their way down.
____
Taehyung ran around the castle. The queen, the blonde maid, or Jungkook and Jimin. Anyone he could find first. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck this is scary." Taehyung spoke in his head. "I didn't think a solo mission would mean I could get killed."
He ran and ran and ran and ran, opening doors, apologizing, and moving on. He ran and ran and ran and ran and-
"Ah!!!" Jimin screamed in fear, Jungkook moving in front of him immediately.
"Oh god!" Taehyung yelled with just as much fear. "Oh thank god it's you guys! Let's head back!" Taehyung sighed happily, so glad it wasn't the queen.
____
"So you don't know her..." Jin felt confused. "Blonde? You don't know any blondes..."
"No sir. I work in the kitchen daily. But I did see her yesterday for the first time. We all look typically the same, just the way the queen wants. Blonde hair would be...shameful."
"She must've been new?"
"Oh! We did have a new girl since you've all been here. She could've dyed her hair for a day. But I haven't seen her since this morning."
"Perhaps...she left?"
"Could've."
"I wish we could talk to her."
"I apologize for not being of more help."
"Oh no, you're fine." Jin brainstormed. "Damn, she must've gotten away." Jin looked away. "We need to..."
"Fuck!" Taehyung bursted into the room. "Sorry!"
"Oh! Taehyung. Want to go on another mission?"
"Mmmmmmm." Taehyung tried to catch his breath. "No."
"Did you find the queen?"
"No." Taehyung held his chest. "But the king, Jungkook, and Jimin are all with Yoongi and Hoseok now."
"Oh good." Namjoon exhaled with anxiety. "I think we're okay."
"I think so too."
____
"So what you're saying is..."
"Yes. We've been over this. Where is my mother?"
"We're still looking your highness." The officer tried to calm him down, everyone else getting interviewed, the evidence already given and gone back for testing.
"Mm." Jungkook looked down, nervously picking at the peach fuzz on his ear. "What will you do if you find her? Will we have to...tell the people?" Jungkook directed his first question to the police officer, then the second to is father.
"We'll arrest her."
"We have to."
"Father...what is our plan after this?"
"You'll get married."
"But then I must be crowned- father. You're not resigning are you?" Jungkook looked alarmed, standing up.
"We need a change. I let...this all happen. All of this bullshit. Me sick? Unheard of. Your mother gone crazy for power...I should've known. You...my poor child, I've done nothing right for you. You deserve this. You deserve a kingdom. It's the most I can do."
"Father..."
"Jungkook. I mean it. You want it in a month? It'll happen in a month."
"O-one month..."
"After all of this is over."
"One month..." Jungkook looked towards Jimin, who noticed him looking and smiled and waved before going back to his interview. "One month huh."
"Life goes fast huh."
"He's gunna be my husband. A king. Beside me. Will it be accepted?"
"They must if they wish to see a new change in pace."
"I know."
"Then you're ready. You've nothing to worry about. He'll be an excellent king, and an even better husband."
"Okay...thank you. I have your blessing?" Jungkook smiled calmly.
"You have it." He nodded with a smile.
"You'll walk me down the isle?"
"Of course."
____
"And you may kiss the groom!"
The room erupted in cheers, Jimin and Jungkook too wrapped up in each other to care about the crowd.
"God damn this was a stressful few months." Taehyung groaned after the two ran down the isle together.
"And planning a wedding? Even worse than the whole...thing." Hoseok agreed.
"Yeah. Still unfound?" Yoongi gave a slight concerned face.
"Still unfound."
"Mm. Are you gunna move in with us?" Taehyung asked Jin and Namjoon. "I think it'll be better to have all seven of us than split up and stay in our kingdom. This one is better for us. Plus...they've still got a lot of training to go." Taehyung tried to convince them.
"Ah, we're still thinking about it. Jungkook might cry and make us stay though."
"Aww, Jimin means nothing to you now that you've met Jungkook." Taehyung shook his head.
"He's cute. Like, in a son way."
"Sure, sure."
They laughed before continuing on with the wedding.
____
"Oh my..." Jimin felt himself become nervous.
"Jimin, it's our coronation. It'll be fine."
"You seem oddly calm." Jimin nervously fixed Jungkook's clothes.
"Oh my! I just realized you'll have to wear our official clothes. You'll look beautiful in the pink color."
"Baby, you look amazing in it. I'm going to look...like a child."
"I'm the child here. You look beautiful no matter what you wear." Jungkook smiled and took Jimin's shaking hands. "We get crowned, we become kings. Kings. Of our own kingdom." Jungkook softly kissed Jimin's forehead. "Doesn't it sound so nice?"
"A week ago you were scared of the idea."
"The wedding made me realize some things."
"Like?"
"Like I shouldn't worry so much about being perfect because I have the worlds best husband to help me. And that...these people are happy for a change. I'll learn these politics and we'll help our people no matter what. They'll get what they finally deserve. Some peace."
"Don't we all. You've grown up so much since the first day I met you."
"My gosh...I still feel the same as I do when I first saw you."
"And that feeling is?" Jimin smiled up at him, wanting a kiss.
"You look beautiful."
"That's not a feeling."
"I love you."
"Well...that's a feeling." Jimin brought Jungkook's head down and gave him a kiss.
"It's a really strong one."
"I love you too. You dork."
"Whaaaaaat. I wanna hear it back."
"I don't need to say it if you can see it. You just want me to feel embarrassed." Jimin huffed and walked out of their dressing room, Jungkook following.
"Perhaps."
"They uh...don't make me switch clothes during the..."
"Oh no. You get granted them. You dress your old kingdoms clothes and then you become king here and then you're granted our clothes."
"Okay good. That would've been weird."
"Why'd you even think they would?" Jungkook snickered.
"I dunno! I've read it somewhere, I'm sure."
"Jiminie~" Jungkook walked up beside him. "Are you ready?"
"As ready as I can be. It'll be easy right?"
"Yeah. Some words, we get crowns, and that's it really."
"Gosh, it seems like such a big deal..."
"Well, it is. But it'll be fine."
"Oh will it? How confident."
"I already said I was confident. Plus, it's my father, so I have less to worry about than you do."
"Ohhh, thank you for your confidence."
"You're welcome."
"Well...let's go get crowned." Jungkook opened the door to the garden outside, the ceremony beginning. A small walk to the clearing. A large crowd around them. The kingdom would want to see something like this too. A royal wedding, and a royal coronation. What a week.
Jimin gulped before pulling it together, smiling and waving. Jungkook walked forward, his small smile growing bigger and bigger.
They reached his father.
"Oh father. What a year it's been."
"You've grown up. And it's time. Prince Jeon Jungkook of Crystal Kingdom...I now announce you King...of Crystal Kingdom." The crowd clapped as Jungkook knelt down to be crowned. His father put the crown atop his head before he raised.
"And Prince Park Jimin of Gold Kingdom...I now announce you...King Jeon Jimin of Crystal Kingdom. Welcome to our family." Jimin knelt, was crowned, and rose. "I am stepping down as king now, for these two to step up. We are now, in your care." The people began to kneel, one after the other, until they were all kneeling.
"Rise! Rise my people." Jungkook laughed. "There is no need to treat me any differently. You knew me as a boy, and now I am grown. It's all the same to me, and it should all be the same to you. Now please, enjoy the food and the celebration!" Jungkook took Jimin's hand and took them inside, the crowd following inside.
"Jungkook! We did it!"
"I told you it wouldn't be hard. I'm confident."
"Well I'm hoping to see more of this confidence. It suits you."
"I'm sure you will. I've got you with me."
Jimin smiled happily. "Yes you do. You'll have me forever."
"I'm hoping so."
"You don't have to hope. It's true."
"I'm so lucky to have you."
"I'm even luckier."
"Oh my god. Namjoon, they're being gushy. Like..."
"...newly weds..."
"Like babies dating. You know? Like freshmen."
"Ohh, you're right." Namjoon agreed with Jin, nodding along. "Seems like they're just starting to understand what being with someone is like."
"Well...we are. Jin hyunngggg, you're supposed to congratulate me~" Jimin whined.
"We did. On your wedding day. But, I'm still older and better than you, so nothing too big changed." Jin laughed, Jungkook giggling.
"You're sweet hyung. I love you too."
Jin smiled. "You're a good person. I'm looking forward to continue teaching you."
"You're staying?!" Jungkook and Jimin both exclaimed, pushing each other out of the way to hug him.
"Gha! Yes, I am." Jin let the two hug him like baby birds under their mothers wings. "I couldn't leave Namjoon and you two. You need a lot of help." He hugged them back.
"Thank you for staying hyung." Jungkook sniffed.
"Ah- don't cry. There's no need."
"Shh." Jungkook cleared his throat, trying to wipe his eyes.
"Thank you hyung. We really appreciate it." Jin let the two go. Jimin smiled happily. "We really do appreciate it."
"I thought it would be best to be here for you two. I'm glad I was right."
"Yeah. We're both going to continue our studies with you, so no slacking off. You'll become great and stories will be told of you." Namjoon laughed. "You'll be amazing."
"When will studies start?"
"Next week. Enjoy your week off." Jin laughed happily. "You'll need it off while you settle in."
The four of them went on to celebrate the party, Jungkook and Jimin being careful of their drinks...Jimin drinking a bit more than casual.
"Ah, I thought you said you were a heavyweight Jiminie?" Jungkook helped Jimin back to their room after they said their goodbyes and the party was over.
"I am." Jimin leaned on Jungkook for support. "Your drinks are just a bit more..."
"Expensive? Luxurious?" Jungkook grinned.
"They've got more alcohol in it brat." Jimin slurred his words slightly.
"How very...kingly." Jungkook chuckled to himself as he opened their door and went in, closing it behind them. Jimin started to take off his clothes, heading to the bathroom.
Jungkook did the same, taking off his Crystal clothes before heading after Jimin.
"Take a bath with me?" Jimin pouted, luring Jungkook closer.
"I already took a shower today."
"What's another one?"
"Ah, fair point." Jungkook undressed fully and got in with Jimin, starting to wash his hair.
"You know...we won't really get a honeymoon...cause we've got to be here ya know..."
"I know Jimin. I was thinking of a way we could celebrate here."
"But we're going to be so busy. With the refurbishing of the castle, our studies continuing...when will we have time?"
"Then let's celebrate tonight?"
"Oh yeah?"
"If you're sober enough."
"I'm getting there." Jimin crawled a little closer to Jungkook.
"A-Ah...I see." Jungkook nervously laughed.
"You were thinking what I was thinking right?"
"I..think so." Jungkook blushed. "That's how honeymoons usually go right?"
"Well...it can be whatever we want it to be."
"Well, I don't mind. Whatever you'd like." Jungkook gained some confidence back, giving Jimin a cheeky grin.
"Oh whatever I'd like?" Jimin moved on top of Jungkook, straddling his thighs.
"Yeah. You're beautiful. When have I ever been able to say no to you?"
"Mm, what a pushover." Jimin pouted.
"Sorry that I'm so intoxicated by you that I can't be a brat. I just wanna listen to you all the time." Jungkook smiled and held Jimin's thighs.
"Mmm...I don't wanna be controlling though."
"Well, I like being told what to do. It's more like...directing a movie."
"Ah...you want to be directed."
"Yeah. Like a movie."
"But I want you to be satisfied." Jimin poked his chest for emphasis.
"Your satisfaction is mine."
"Is it?"
"Yeah. If you're gunna feel good I'm certain I will too."
"Mmm...yeah, you're probably right."
"I mean, I think so at least."
"You wanna go find out?"
"Right now?"
"Are you clean?"
"I am."
"Then right now. On the bed I mean." Jimin giggled a little, making Jungkook laugh.
"Yeah. Anything with you sounds perfect."
"Okay, then let's." Jimin stood and got out, wrapping a towel around himself, Jungkook doing the same. The two dried themselves off first before heading to the bedroom. Jungkook sat on the edge of the bed while Jimin went to the closet.
"Jiminie...do we have everything?"
"And more. I've got food for afterwards, lube, condoms, pillows...what else do you need?"
"A kiss?" Jungkook smiled happily, swinging his feet. He looked at Jimin expectantly, who turned around and laughed.
"You look like a little boy. How adorable~"
"You're the adorable one." Jungkook pouted. "No kiss?"
"No, you'll get one." Jimin came over, throwing what they needed on the bed. "Just a kiss?"
"Well, whatever you'll give me."
"Okayyyy." Jimin leaned down a little and gave him a peck on the lips. "A kiss."
Jungkook gasped. "Jimin! That is not a proper kiss. And you know that King's must be proper."
"Oh, fine." Jimin leaned down to give him a better kiss, but Jungkook grabbed Jimin's torso and pulled him on top, kissing him deeper than the useless peck.
Jungkook smiled into it before letting Jimin breathe. "See? That's better."
"But Jungkookie~ now I'm embarrassed." Jimin rested his head on Jungkook's chest.
"Oh but Jimin, I want to see your face."
"It's red..."
"Which is cute. Lemme see."
"Nooooo."
Jungkook rolled his eyes and pushed Jimin over, flipping them. He took Jimin's wrists in one hand, getting a good look at Jimin's face. "So very cute."
"I...I'm not cute..." Jimin felt himself redden more, squirming a little under Jungkook. He looked him up and down with a small smirk. "Your towel came off."
"It would've anyways. I think if I teased you enough you'd take it off me yourself."
"There's gunna be many more nights my love."
"I'd love to see you so needy."
"Well, I'm waiting for more kisses."
Jungkook laughed, leaning down to kiss him again. Jimin wrapped his legs around Jungkook's waist and brought him down. "Ah. J-Jimin..."
"Is there a problem?"
"Your towel is still on."
"Why don't you take it of me?" Jimin grinned cheekily.
"Oh haha." Jungkook rolled his eyes with a smile before taking it off Jimin. "Better?"
"Better." Jimin wriggled again, and Jungkook let him go. "I wanna kiss you forever." Jimin put his arms around Jungkook's neck and pulled them together again, Jungkook jolting at the impact of skin on skin. The two kissed again, Jimin licking into Jungkook's mouth, trying to deepen the kiss by any means.
Satisfaction is what Jimin wanted. "J...Jimin..." Jungkook panted softly as he pulled away.
"Yes my darling?"
"...'m getting hard..."
Jimin smiled. "How adorable. Get the lube?"
"Scoot up a bit." The two awkwardly moved up the bed, laughing a little in the process as Jungkook finally reached the lube. "Can I just...start? On it?" Jungkook laughed nervously.
"Yeah, you can start."
"Okay. Tell me if I need to stop, okay?"
"I promise I will." Jungkook poured lube on his hand and fingers, finding Jimin's hole and pushing one finger in slowly, first knuckle, looking at Jimin for approval, than the second knuckle.
"Good?"
"'M good."
"Keep going?"
"Yeah."
"Okay." Jungkook moved his finger a bit, feeling himself hide his giddy smile. It was so wild of a concept to him that here he was. Here he is. Jimin loves him, married him, wants to also show how much he loves the other. "You're so beautiful Jimin. So amazing. So, so precious." Jungkook worked him gently, Jimin gaining a blush.
"W-why are you complimenting me so much?"
"Cause. You're just...perfect to me." Jungkook added another finger slowly, Jimin trying to relax to make it go smoother.
"I'm not...perfect..."
"We must have different definitions of perfect, because angel, you're absolutely perfect." Jungkook rolled his eyes as he scissored Jimin. "Just everything about you. You're so caring and kind, but you're also so good at being serious and comforting, and really, you're so comfortable to be around and there's just so many things about you that cancel out every imperfection you think you have."
"So...charismatic." Jimin huffed. "You're so adorable."
"I'm not! I'm just saying the truth."
"Well keep working and I might say some truths as well."
"You're needy."
"Looking at the situation, I'd say I have the right to be needy. It feels good." Jimin wiggled his butt, making Jungkook laugh.
"You're adorable." Jungkook shoved his fingers inside, Jimin giving a small shout.
"Kind! Be kind!"
"Well, it didn't seem like you were new to this." Jungkook continued.
"Mmmm...haven't in a while though." Jimin held back his tongue, not wanting to snap at Jungkook. "So go slow for me baby?"
"Okayyyy. Tell me when I can do more?" Jungkook scissored him slower, still reaching as far as he could.
"I'll tell you when."
Jungkook leaned down and kissed him as he continued his pace, Jimin moving his hips slightly along with Jungkook's movements.
"Ah...ah, okay...you can add another one." Jimin spoke in between their kisses, Jungkook adding more lube before adding a third finger. He went right back to kissing Jimin.
Jimin smiled and gave soft whines.
"You're adorable. So cute..." Jungkook felt his hand cramping up and removed his fingers.
"O-oh...are you ready?"
"Are you?"
Jimin paused for a moment. "Yeah. I'm ready. Go slow?"
"Of course." Jungkook put a condom on, lubed himself up, then slowly lined himself up, pushing in with caution. He looked up at Jimin often, pausing whenever he gave a slight face of discomfort.
"...'m good...you can go more."
"I don't wanna hurt you."
"You won't hurt me. I can take a lot."
"Still don't wanna hurt you. You're precious to me, I wouldn't want to-"
"Jungkook. You're okay. Go all the way."
"You positive?"
"I'm absolutely sure."
"Okay..." Jungkook slowly pushed all the way in, bottoming out with a low moan, Jimin giving his own high pitch whine. "Fuck." Jungkook exhaled to calm himself.
"F-feel good?" Jimin looked up at him, eyes wide in hope.
"Feels really good Jimin. Really really good." Jungkook praised him, Jimin growing a new shade of red and looking away.
"Good. Can you wait a little?"
"Of course angel." Jungkook kissed him, pushing up a little to get snug inside.
"Fuck." Jimin raised his hips off the bed, arching his back.
"C...can I move?"
"Y-yeah. You can move slowly."
"Okay...tell me if you need me to stop." Jungkook kissed Jimin again before slowly moving. Out...then in.
"Jungkook you can go faster than that."
"Okay." Jungkook moved a bit faster, watching Jimin's face for approval.
"Mm." Jimin nodded.
"Good." Jungkook continued the pace, watching Jimin's face. It was soft, and contorted in a pleasuring way. He looked so...beautiful. Jungkook smiled with pride knowing he was the reason for Jimin's current emotions. He watched Jimin moan quietly before smashing his lips down on Jimin, unable to hold back.
Jungkook smiled wider until he laughed.
"What's so funny?"
"I just love you so much. I'm so happy." Jungkook laughed again before moving faster, his own wish of relief outweighing Jimin's "okays."
Jimin smiled happily. "I'm glad. A-ah...I'm so glad."
"This pace okay?"
"It's good. Feels good."
"Good." Jungkook smiled, Jimin smiling reassuringly back. He started to move in a better rhythm, starting to get the idea. "Okay?"
"Okay. We're good. I'm good. You're good?"
"Better than best." Jungkook moved onto a faster pace, watching Jimin's reactions for approval. Jimin started to arch his back a little more, his whines and quiet moans started to get a little louder, and his kisses started to get a little needier.
Jungkook liked this reaction.
He liked it quite a lot. Jungkook moved out, then slammed inside of Jimin, laughing once Jimin moaned louder than ever.
"Jiminie." Jungkook laughed more as he stopped moving. "What was that angel?"
"Fuck- fuck off! That's not fair! I thought we were going slow!"
"It seemed like you liked it though...do you want me to keep this pace instead? This sloooowww, slow pace?" Jungkook started to move again, slower than the one before.
"I-Jungkook I swear to fucking-"
"Such crude language ah~" Jungkook exaggerated with a playful smile. "What do you swear?"
"Go...go the pace you want to..." Jimin blushed under Jungkook, looking to the side. "It feels good..."
"Oh...so you do have shame. But that's okay! I'll make you feel good angel." Jungkook kissed Jimin's forehead before going his rough pace, Jimin losing his air for a moment before breathing sharply. Inhale, moan, exhale, whine, inhale, repeat.
Jungkook laughed quietly as he fucked Jimin, Jimin trying to be quieter with his moans and exclaims, not wanting anyone else to knock on the door in concern.
"J-Jungkook!" Jimin huffed, his eyes closed from content.
"Oh fuck that sounds good. Music to my ears angel." Jungkook kissed Jimin more, the two moaning into each other's mouths. "Fuck."
"Mmm!~ Jungkook, Jungkook, 'm close."
"A bit more angel, I'm a bit more."
"Jungkook...fuck- Jungkook! I love you!" Jimin pulled Jungkook down to his lips, Jimin scratching at Jungkook's back for stability as they kissed. Jungkook did his best to satisfy Jimin's needs, kissing him hard and with love.
"I love you so much Jimin. You're so beautiful. So...perfect." Jungkook grunted, feeling himself become a little tired from the moments. "I love you so god damn much."
"How...how crude..." Jimin whined, Jungkook laughing a little.
"You're cute."
"You're handsome."
"Sounds like a good pair, hm?" Jungkook turned his head slightly, a smile on his face as he continued to move. Jimin continued to make faces of content, Jungkook living for it. "You're so beautiful. So...so beautiful."
Jimin blushed at the compliment before exhaling a moan. "Shut up."
"So pretty. So gorgeous. Perfect. Stunning. Beautiful. Absolutely-"
"S-stop! J-Jungkook don't-"
"Compliment? But it's true."
Jimin felt his face heat up even more. "Don't."
"I'm close angel. Really close."
"Me too. Me too baby." The two moaned together. Jungkook's movements started to become sloppy as he tried to find release, Jimin moaning louder.
"Fuck, fuck Jungkook!~" Jimin arched his back and moaned loudly as he released, cum hitting Jungkook's abdomen. Jungkook kept fucking into Jimin, trying to find his release, his rhythm lost. Grunts and low moans were all Jimin could hear, his legs shaking in overstimulation as Jungkook continued. "J-Jungkook- Jungkook-"
"Yeah, almost." Jungkook continued, giving kisses repeatedly. "Almost."
"Y-you're a...lot..." Jimin groaned.
"So I've been told."
"In a good way! In a- fuck!"
"Ah!~" Jungkook finally came, with a low grunt. He kept moving, albeit slowly, before pulling out. "Are you good? Are you okay?"
Jimin giggled. "I'm good, okay, perfect. Don't apologize." Jimin said before Jungkook could apologize.
"Okay. Did...you feel good?"
"I did. Did you?"
Jungkook nodded cutely, in Jimin's opinion, before laying down next to Jimin. "We should clean up." Jungkook pulled the condom off of him, tying it and throwing it away.
"It'll be fine..."
"Let's clean up angel."
"Ughhhh, I wanna sleep."
"Go to the bathroom at least. It's healthy too."
"Don't tell me you read facts before we had sex." Jimin sat up and grimaced.
"And if I did?" Jungkook stood up from the bed before helping Jimin up.
"You're an absolute dork."
"I love you too angel."
____
"Hey."
Jungkook turned to Taehyung. "Yes?"
"How'd it go? Sounded pretty good."
"Ah, yeah...it was good." Jungkook gave a small, proud smile.
"Taehyung! Don't ask questions like that!" Jimin embarrassedly walked into the dining room.
"He responded though!"
"Jungkook!"
"What? I didn't do anything wrong."
"Yeah Jimin, nothing wrong. No harm done."
"Shut up." Jimin's face was red as he sat next to Jungkook, who still had a grin on his face.
"Hey everyone. Loud last night, huh?" Jin and Namjoon walked in, immediately making fun of Jungkook and Jimin. "And I thought these walls were thick."
"Oh but they are." Namjoon laughed. "They were just very loud. Or, Jimin was."
"Hyung!" Jimin exclaimed, the rest of the table laughing.
"Oh, sorry we're late~" Hoseok walked in with a smile, tugging along a sleepy Yoongi. "But we wanted to sleep in as much as we could since we didn't sleep well."
"Very noisy." Yoongi nodded as they took their seats.
"Wasn't it? I thought so too." Namjoon laughed.
"You all...I wish I could fire you." Jimin banged his head on the table in embarrassment. "Awful! You're all awful!"
"Even me? Angel, how rude." Jungkook felt a kick from Jimin and laughed.
"Oh Jimin. We'll never let you off the hook. You two are funny."
"And loud."
"He's the loud one." Jungkook teased Jimin.
"Kill me now." Jimin groaned.
