                                 _______

Jungkook yawned and stretched, waking up to the sun kissing his face. He swore he'd had a nice dream, but he couldn't remember it, yet he woke feeling rested and warm. He rolled around in his bed, going on his phone to procrastinate getting up and starting his day.

Eventually, he did get up, the sun high enough to light his room. He got dressed, checking the time and making his way to the bus stop. He was going to work at a small cafe, something easy to help him pay for his online classes while he focused on being a YouTuber.

It was a cool spring day, Jungkook happy to wear his sweaters, as he got on his bus. He couldn't really understand why, but he was feeling happy. Maybe it was his dream, but he couldn't remember it. He really wanted to. He remembered loving it and waking up refreshed.

When he got to work, he was immediately greeted by his manager.

"Jungkook! You're glowing this morning." Jin smiled at him, handing Jungkook a drink after he came around and clocked in. "What happened?"

Jungkook smiled wide, helping start up the shop. "I had a lovely dream. But I can't remember any of it...either way, I think that was the nicest sleep I've ever had." Jungkook swept up the floor, then put the chairs down. "How was your morning?"

"It was a little less nice than yours. Since I had to get up earlier. You know...one day...I'm going to have to upgrade this shop. It's going to need some new chairs eventually. And I'd love to repaint the walls."

"I think that would be fun." Jungkook thought about it. "I could probably help you."

"You're a busy kid, I wouldn't want to make you work even more." Jin cleaned the counters, getting their machines ready.

"I'd be fine with it. School isn't so bad right now. I could take a day off." Jungkook smiled at Jin. "Pick a day, I'd help."

"I don't want to overwork you. You already work so much, and you're only 20."

"Hey, I'm doing good. I'm working a bit yeah, but it's not too bad." Jungkook finished up and turned their sign around, opening the shop door then went behind the counter.

"You have three jobs."

"One job, one hobby, one requirement. That's how I see it." Jungkook grinned. "Besides hyung, you said you did the same thing when you were young."

Jin sighed with a smile. "I mean yes, but still, I wouldn't want you to do that too."

"Well, it's fine." Jungkook grinned wide as he watched the door, nudging his hyung. "Your guy is here."

"Oh shit, move." Jin shoved Jungkook aside from the counter as their regular came in. "Hello! What would you like today?" Seokjin smiled, their regular smiling back.

"I think I'll have my usual. Do you...have any other experiments you've been working on?" He seemed slightly shy, which Jungkook did find charming. It was obvious Jin did as well. Jungkook rolled his eyes with a smile as Jin nodded.

"I do! Your order will be $6.00." Jin rung him up and got to work, not letting Jungkook help him because he wanted it to have his "special touch" and sent him to clean the tables down.

Jungkook could overhear them anyways, smiling a little. "Thank you...what's the secret treat this time?"

"It's made specially just for you...actually. Hopefully you like your drink too, Namjoonie." Jungkook looked over, seeing Jin be for once in his life nervous, unable to look him in the eye.

Namjoon smiled, Jungkook able to see his dimples. He looked over the cup and laughed. "I'll be sure to text you when I'm free Seokjin hyung. Thank you for the treat."

"Tell me- tell me if you like it. Maybe it'll become a special."

"Sure thing. Bye hyung."

"Bye Joonie." Seokjin smiled at him as he left with a wave to both Jin and Jungkook.

Jungkook waved back and smiled slyly at Seokjin. "So you finally got bold enough to do it! You should've told me to show up late so you could have more privacy." Jungkook teased him. "God knows you would've done the same for me."

"Yeah, I probably would've. I just- I just decided enough was enough. Besides...I'm pretty handsome so I'm not concerned about being denied." Jin smiled as he washed their only dirty dishes.

"He's pretty handsome too. He's always been so kind." Jungkook and Jin thought about Namjoon, both smiling.

"Right? He's so dreamy. He's always wearing such nice clothes and he's always got such a nice smile on his face. God his dimples make me feel so much better. I'm having a good day now." Jin sighed, lost in thought.

"I'm honestly hoping he comes by every day when he dates you." Jungkook smiled at the thought too. He was admirable.

"He's got such a sexy brain. The words that come out of his mouth are always so perfect."

Jungkook laughed. "Compared to you? Yeah. I don't know half the things you say hyung."

"You always talk nonsense." Jin raised an eyebrow.

"I hang out with you." Jungkook raised one back, smiling as he teased.

"Oh wow." Jin rolled his eyes. "I could fire you you know."

"You would never. I'm your best employee. Employee of the month, every month." Jungkook feigned shock.

Jin laughed. "You know there's only a couple employees. You just happen to have the same shift as me."

"I do prefer it. It's more comfortable." Jungkook started to make himself another drink, trying out new things. He kept thinking about his dream, and why he couldn't remember it, even though he could remember how it felt. "Hyung, d'ya ever have interesting dreams?"

"Like what?"

"Like...like you can remember the feelings but you can't remember the content. I dunno, I'm still thinking about my dream. It felt like cotton candy." Jungkook looked at him in confusion.

Jin thought about it for a second before responding. "It happens to me sometimes. Sometimes I remember only good feelings, or only uncomfortable feelings. The dream world is so interesting, if you think about it, or have studied it. The mind is a powerful thing."

Jungkook stared at him, squinting his eyes. "You've been talking with Namjoon hyung a lot." He got Jin to blush and look away.

"Maybe. He's got a lot of interesting things to say."

"Anyways." Jungkook smiled. "Have you ever had like...special dreams? I feel like I had an important dream. I can't remember a single thing though. Only...cotton candy..." Jungkook sighed heavily. "I think I'm just overthinking it."

"Maybe you've had similar dreams? That happens to me too. Except, well, I tend to remember them after I've had them a couple times."

"Ah, yeah. I dunno. I should probably think of what I'll record next instead."

"Busy bee."

"Honey!" Jungkook added honey to his drink as a sweetener.

____

Jungkook laid on the grassy hill, arms behind his head, staring up at the pastel pink sky. The sun was just barely setting as he laid down and watched the pink lighten. It slowly mixed with a light blue, creating that...cotton candy look.

"Hey. Mind if I lay next to you?" Jungkook looked over to see another person standing, looking down on him. He was here last time too.

"Not at all. It's got the best view." Jungkook smiled and looked back at the sky.

The man laid next to him, giving him a glance and putting his arms behind his head as well. "I'm Park Jimin. Does that ring a bell?"

"You...told me that last time. I'm Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook gave him a glance.

"You told me that last time too. I thought...this was my dream. That maybe, you were a figment of my imagination. But I don't think so anymore."

"I think it's our dreams. I think they're combining."

"Same frequency I guess." Jimin laughed a little. "You've got such nice dreams. Mine aren't always this peaceful."

Jungkook looked over at him. He remembered he had pink hair. He remembered his face. He remembered his name. "Cotton candy. That's what I was remembering. But that's all I was remembering."

"Hm?" Jimin looked at him with confusion. "Are you making fun of my hair?"

"What? No, I like it. I just- I don't want to forget it again."

"Ah." Jimin looked back at the sky. "Yeah. All I remember was stars."

"And- and wait. My dreams aren't usually like this either. Who's is it then?"

Jimin smiled. "Dunno. Maybe it's what both of us make."

Jungkook smiled too. "That sounds nice." He stared at Jimin, but still couldn't remember his last dream with him. "Are you losing them too?"

"So it's not just me?" Jimin sat up, looking down at Jungkook with surprise. "I keep remembering stars. And I don't know-" Jimin stopped, looking at Jungkook. "Oh. Your eyes are so pretty."

Jungkook blushed at the compliment, sitting up as well. "Is that what you remember? My eyes? I remember your hair."

Jimin leaned in closer, in an attempt to look at his eyes better. "Yeah. Yeah, it is. They're stunning."

Jungkook blushed more, leaning back. "T-thank you."

Jimin giggled. "S-sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?"

"N-no, no you didn't I just didn't- well, you startled me." Jungkook laughed it off, looking up at the sky again. "Cotten candy."

"Oh!" Jimin's eyes widened, then he laughed, making Jungkook look at him again. "Makes sense I guess. We must've remembered the most important part." Then he pouted, Jungkook feeling attracted to him. "Was my smile not as important?" Jimin laughed again, laying on his stomach beside Jungkook.

Jungkook felt his cheeks get hot, glad that night had taken shape and Jimin couldn't see his face as well anymore. "Your hair is just so bright." He looked at the sky as Jimin looked at him. "Why are you staring?"

"Your eyes." Jimin hummed, sounding pleased. "I can see the stars in them. You've got your own galaxy."

Jungkook felt happy, his chest feeling tight from butterflies. "Thank you..."

"Tell me about yourself. I want to remember you when I wake up." Jimin sounded sad. "I've had this dream so many times but I can never remember your name."

"It's Jungkook. I work at a cafe in Seoul, I'm a YouTuber, and I'm a college student. I- I think this is only my second dream." Jungkook looked at him again, Jimin looking serious.

"I've had it for a longer time. I can't say how many times. I just remember waking up...happy. What cafe do you work at?" Jimin sighed.

"Ah, it's uh, called-"

"Starlight Cafe!" Jimin seemed frustrated.

Jungkook felt confused. "You know it?"

"I can only remember it when I'm here." Jimin took one of Jungkook's hands, holding it with both of his own. "Promise me you'll try and find me too."

Jungkook blushed again, Jimin's small hands were cold. "I- I don't know what this is all about."

"I've been having this dream for months Jungkook. I need to find you before I lose hope. You're a YouTuber?"

Jungkook nodded, sitting back with his free hand. "I feel like...you know more than you remember. I- I feel like I've told you all of this before."

"Me too Jungkook. That's why I need to find you." Jimin suddenly let go of Jungkook's hand, embarrassment hitting him like a brick. "Oh gosh I'm sorry. I don't even know if you're- if you're like me."

"Huh? Like you?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Jimin shook his head, hiding his face in embarrassment. "Never mind. I'll look for you."

"W-wait, what do you do?" Jungkook reached out and put his hand over Jimin's, feeling the world start to end, his eyes feeling the need to open.

"I'll find you, okay? And tomorrow...tomorrow I hope to see you again." Jimin removed his hand. "And we'll talk again. Let's wake up now." Jimin smiled at him, and then...he woke up.

"Fuck!" Jungkook sat up in his bed, desperately trying to remember his dream, but he felt it fall away from his grasp. "Cotten...Cotten candy. Damn it." He punched his bed, trying to remember it. All he could remember was the feeling of butterflies in his chest.

He got ready for school, getting help from a tutor online that day, finishing up his to do list, then went to record something.

He jotted down ideas for next time, but his mind kept wandering back to cotton candy.

Instead of brainstorming, he went on to his next activity for the day; painting. Maybe he could paint the mood, the feeling, maybe then he would remember it. A dream had never felt more important. There was just...something. Something he couldn't remember, something he wanted to remember.

He painted aimlessly, music loud around him. Maybe this was something that happened to a lot of people.

After all, dreams are all in a persons head. Maybe he'd ask Seokjin. Instead of pondering on the idea of dreams, Jungkook noticed his painting.

Cotton candy skies with stars.

There was something...something about stars. Something about cotton candy too, but stars was new. He wrote it down, not wanting to forget it again.

He stared at his painting, then set it aside. He edited his video before getting something to eat, finishing his day off with a shower, then went to bed. He wanted to feel that lingering happiness once more.

"New game plan! Let see if this works." Jimin was already beside him as they sat...somewhere else this time. Jungkook didn't have too much time to process it before Jimin pushed up Jungkook's sleeve.

"W-wait, we're somewhere new?"

"Mhm. It happens a bit." Jimin wrote on Jungkook's arm. "The field is somewhere I know. I'm betting this is somewhere you know."

"You seem pretty comfortable with all this." Jungkook looked at the number on his arm. He felt the need to memorize it.

"It's been months, and I really enjoy your company." Jimin shrugged, putting his sharpie away. "So where are we today?"

Jungkook looked around, piecing it together. "Oh. It looks like...my old hangout place in Busan."

"Oh! I live there too!" Jimin looked excited. "But you work...in...in Seoul?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. I moved to go to college but then I decided to go online. I'm not a big school fan." Jungkook laughed a little. "I'm not good at homework."

"I wish I could help. I like school." Jimin smiled at him.

"So the- the field is somewhere you know? I can't believe I remember a place so nice in Busan." Jungkook looked around.

"It's my escape place. Somewhere where I can be alone and...be at peace."

Jungkook eyed him. There was definitely something he wasn't explaining, but Jungkook wasn't going to question it. "Makes sense. This is that for me too. It's uh, the rooftop to one of my family friends store. I could just listen to music and be alone when I wanted to. I had a lot of debates with myself here. You know. What to do when I grew up."

"Oh yeah. I get that."

"What do you do...by the way?" Jungkook remembered that he didn't get to find out last time. Jimin left before that.

"I- I dance. I'm a professional dancer." Jimin seemed shy, looking away from Jungkook. "I live in Seoul too. I...kinda miss Busan. Maybe we could meet up here one day."

"That's so cool. I've always loved dancing. It's fun and it really helps keep the bad feelings away." Jungkook smiled at him. He readjusted himself, now sitting against the ledge. The building was quite small, just a stairwell up, and a couple wires of such on top of the little stairwell building. Jimin sat across from Jungkook, both of them looking at each other. "Why do you want to meet up so badly? I'm just curious."

"I think we're meant to." Jimin smiled wide. "And I know that this all means something. Why else would you appear in my dreams every night, if not for a relationship? We're bound to meet."

"I...guess so." Jungkook smiled at Jimin's happiness. It felt contagious. His chest was full of butterflies yet again. "Maybe if you tell me more about you we'll have a better chance of finding each other. If you're looking for me but I'm not looking for you, then I'm not sure it'll work."

"True. Well...my studio is in Seoul. It's called XX and I'm a student there. I do performances around South Korea, and I'm hoping to go worldwide." Jimin smiled, looking anxious. "But my dream is to be a choreographer for an entertainment company."

Jungkook simply gave him a smile. "I'm sure you could do it." He looked up at the sky. "Oh oh! This is my favorite part. The suns about to come up." Jungkook sat up and took Jimin's hand, pointing in the direction of the pinks coloring the sky. "I always came so early. Just so I could see this. Usually when I was stressed or anxious."

"Are you stressed or anxious now?"

Jungkook looked at him, seeing concern on his face. "No. No, I'm actually really happy right now."

"Anything subconsciously making you anxious or stressed? Maybe that's why we're coming to places we remember. To feel at home." Jimin looked at the sunrise. "I want to figure this all out."

"Maybe there isn't figuring it out. No answer."
Jungkook shrugged.

"There's always an answer." Jimin frowned. "There has to be a reason for this."

"Maybe we're just similar. Maybe...we're just each other's stops. Like, happy places. Maybe we're just finding our happy places together." Jungkook tried to think about it. "Maybe we just have the same frequency."

"There's gotta be a reason for all of this. There must be. I just wish I could remember you." Jimin sighed. "I know so much about you, and I keep relearning it. And then I wake up and don't remember a thing. And then I sleep and remember such happiness and leave...and then I wake up and forget everything."

Jungkook watched Jimin's body language. "You said you've been doing this for months?"

Jimin nodded a little sadly.

"Huh." Jungkook thought about it for a second. "I've only been here for a couple nights though. We're you alone before?"

"No, it was- you were here with me." Jimin seemed more confused. "You don't remember it? You were here."

"Maybe I- maybe I have a bad memory." Jungkook was confused now too. "Okay maybe there is an answer to all of this."

Jungkook watched Jimin slowly smile. "You know what? It's fine. I'll take the time I can get with you."

Jungkook felt the butterflies again, smiling back. His smile was contagious. "I'm glad I can help in some way."

"I'll take any amount of peace I can get. I hope...you gain some peace from this too." Jimin shyly looked away, Jungkook instinctively cooing.

"Cute." He blushed after saying it out loud. "I-I mean, yeah, I do...get some peace from this."

"Busy busy, aren't we." Jimin didn't expect an answer as he watched the sunrise. "Next time...next time let's have fun. I brought a pen, maybe I can bring my phone next time." Jimin smiled.

"You brought a sharpie. Permanent sharpie." Jungkook found himself smiling too, watching Jimin observe the sky.

Jungkook really took him in this time. He was wearing a sweater and shorts, his pink hair glowing in the rising sun. He looked soft, small, and Jungkook realized his butterflies weren't anxiety. Jimin looked so huggable and cuddly, Jungkook then noticing how soft his lips looks, and how cute he looked. Bed head, cozy warmth, and a tired voice.

Jimin looked at him, catching Jungkook off guard. Jungkook looked away, and the two blushed. "Sorry, I must've spaced out."

"That's alright. I was just going to say that it feels like I'm waking up soon." Jimin became shy once more. "I...I hope my number stays. If it doesn't then...then I'll just think of something else." He smiled once more, a hand running through his hair.

"I'll...keep my eye out for you. Cotton candy."

"Starry eyes."

____

Jungkook sat at the counter, sipping a drink he made while reading a textbook. Today was fairly slow, and Jin was out making a quick run to the store for more chocolate chips. (It was Jungkook's fault for eating them all, but he knew Jin didn't mind.)

He heard the door bell ring, and he looked up, ready to put his book aside, but relaxed once he saw Namjoon.

"Hey hyung! Sadly, Seokjin hyung is out on a run, but feel free to wait for him." Jungkook smiled. "Unless you'd like me to make your drink and find a treat for you to have for free."

Namjoon laughed a little, walking up to the counter. "I'll wait. Jin likes making it for me, so I'll let him have that simple happiness." He peaked at Jungkook's book. "What're you reading?"

Jungkook lifted the textbook so Namjoon could see the front. "Homework."

"Oh nice! What is it about?"

"This chapters about shading and lighting. I'm taking an AP art class to help my painting skills." Jungkook smiled a little.

"That's so cool. I wish I could help, but I'm not a huge painter myself." Namjoon smiled back.

"Mind if I ask a question?" Jungkook decided this was as good a time as any other.

"Of course not, what's up?"

"Have you ever had weird dreams? Have you ever shared a dream with someone?" Jungkook looked down. "I keep having weird dreams. I know there's someone else there. But I can't remember a thing from them, but I know I wake up feeling happy and rested. I just feel like I'm missing something every time I wake up."

Jungkook could tell he'd piqued Namjoon's interest. "That's so interesting. Let me think."

Jungkook nodded, listening.

"I suppose it wouldn't be impossible for two people or more to share the same dream. Though, the idea of it happening more than once is unlikely." Namjoon rubbed his chin in thought. "If it's reoccurring, then I suppose that there must be something that's bringing you two back together, otherwise there wouldn't be a need for it to keep happening. Maybe some unfinished business, or something like that. Maybe there's something bringing you two together for a reason."

"Wow that's a lot of words." Jungkook laughed a little. "I don't know why it's happening."

"Do you perhaps know this other person?" Namjoon hummed. "Anything you do remember from the dreams?"

Jungkook nodded. "It's always cotton candy. But I don't know who it is. I just know that there's something about cotton candy."

"That's so interesting." Namjoon smiled wide. "I would love to understand it, but I'm sure you don't really get it either. Maybe..." he thought for a second before speaking more quietly. "Maybe it's a sign. A future. Sometimes I have deja vu moments where I remember it happened in my head before. Maybe your dreams are like that. Maybe this'll become a future."

Jungkook shook his head. "I don't know. I just keep waking up happy. And butterflies." Jungkook sighed.

"Maybe you like them."

"What? I wouldn't- I don't know about that." Jungkook blushed with surprise, taking a step back from Namjoon.

Namjoon laughed. "Why are you reacting like that? Butterflies are either anxiety, or a sort of happiness, and you said you're happy every morning. Maybe keep it in mind."

"Ah." Jungkook felt embarrassed, looking down.

The bell rang, Jungkook jumping and shying away from the counter after seeing it was Jin. "And what's going on here? Oh Joonie, you should've told me you were stopping by." Jin went around the counter.

"I'll put everything away." Jungkook quickly took Jin's grocery bag and went to the back. He could hear Jin and Namjoon talking.

"...what did you two talk about to make him so nervous?" Jin was whispering.

"He was talking about dreams and such." Namjoon whispered back. "I promise it wasn't anything bad."

"Ah, I see. What made him nervous though?" Jungkook understood his overprotection. He meant well.

"I was saying how maybe the person in his dreams is his future."

"Ah." Jin nodded. "Well..."

Jungkook tried to listen in, but Jin spoke too quietly.

"Oh, alright. I see."

"Yeah. Let me make your drink now." Jin spoke normally now, and Jungkook decided that was a fine time for him to return. He checked his phone after he got to the counter, smiling a little. "What's up Jungkook?"

"Oh- it's- it's nothing hyung."

"Tell me~" Jin poured Namjoon's drink into a cup, handing it over to him.

"It's nothing hyung." Jungkook felt embarrassed with Namjoon nearby.

Jin smiled at him. "Scared to share?"

Jungkook nodded.

"Is it music?" Jin encouraged him to keep talking.

Jungkook sighed with a nod. "Yeah."

"Do you make music?" Namjoon asked softly, but sounded happy. "Did you know I'm a producer for X company? I'd love to hear it."

Jungkook blushed, unable to look him in the eye. "I- I'm just a small musician, I don't think it's worth-"

"I'd still love to hear it. Do you release it on anything?" Namjoon rummaged through his pockets, handing Jungkook a business card. Jungkook took it with a nervous smile.

"I...release my music on YouTube."

"Nice! Well...if you're ever up for it, just send me an email or call, I'll respond as soon as I can." Namjoon smiled at Jungkook, then at Jin. "Well, I should head back now. I'll see you later."

"Bye Joonie." Jin smiled and waved as Namjoon left. He immediately turned on Jungkook. "Why didn't you want to tell him?"

"I just got so goddamn nervous and I don't know if I want to try anything like that or not- I just don't know anything yet. I wanted to finish school first." Jungkook sighed. "But now I don't even feel like finishing school." Jungkook stared at his closed textbook on the counter.

"I'm sure it'll be worth it. Higher education is always something worth your time. Besides...I know you love music."

"I do. I want to make music forever." Jungkook smiled a little. "But it's scary. It's all- it's all a lot."

"That's okay. As long as you take the time to think it through. Besides...Namjoon's a good guy. And you make good music. You'll be okay."

"Ahhhh, you're too kind." Jungkook felt even more shy and embarrassed. "I'm...still learning."

"...and with Namjoon...you could learn more. All I'm saying. Think about it."

"I will."

____

"So you're thinking of being a full time musician?" Jimin eyed him as they sat next to each other on the hill again.

Jungkook nodded. "I'm thinking about it yeah. But I just don't know yet. My community is small, and it feels special. I don't know if I want to get any bigger...yet...I feel like I should."

"I think you should too. They'll be happy that you got bigger." Jimin went on his phone, and started some music. Then he stood up and extended his hand to Jungkook. "Dance with me."

Jungkook stared at him with wide eyes. "Dance?"

"Yeah come on. Ease some stress. You seem stressed. I wanna get a smile on your face again." Jimin kept his hand extended.

Jungkook smiled shyly and took his hand, getting up. Jimin took his hands and moved them both to the beat of the song. "Come on, get some stress off. The best way to get rid of bad feelings is to dance them away." Jimin smiled wide, and Jungkook couldn't help but smile too.

"You've got a pretty smile." Jungkook watched him dance under the cotton candy sky.

"So you've decided my smile is worth more attention than my hair?"

"Maybe if you dye your hair a different color, then yeah." Jungkook teased him, smiling a little more.

"I see." Jimin rolled his eyes just as playfully, letting go of Jungkook's hand and grabbing the collar of his shirt, bringing their faces closer together. "But for me...it's still your eyes." Jimin gave a small smirk before letting go of him. "You're not dancing much."

"Oh gosh sorry. I'm just distracted." Jungkook blushed, shying away again.

"By me?" Jimin happily dancing to the music being played. "I want to feel this forever."

Jungkook smiled watching him. "It is nice. I just wish I could remember it all. If I could just...your name, or your number. If I could just remember something."

"I wish I could remember your eyes." Jimin smiled as he twirled around. "I want to always remember them."

Jungkook sat down, his legs out, and watching Jimin dance happily. "I want to remember all of you."

"And why's that?" It seemed to Jungkook that Jimin had started to dance to one of his routines.

"You're kind. And my hyungs keep telling me we're meant to be." Jungkook blushed and looked down as Jimin giggled. "As in, whatever is happening...we can be each other's comfort. Friendship or not."

"Or not?" Jimin hummed, still dancing his routine.

"Or more."

"Or more?" Jimin teased, and Jungkook nodded, still looking down and feeling shy.

"Y-yeah..." he swallowed his saliva. "That's what...my hyungs said. Whether this relationship is...is friendship or not."

"Or not." Jimin laughed, finishing his routine and plopping down right in front of Jungkook, hands on Jungkook's legs. "Well, personally, I'd like to be something more."

Jungkook exploded in shyness, hiding his face in his hands. "I-I see."

"Are you okay with that?" Jimin smiled, leaning closer to Jungkook's face.

Jungkook nodded. "I'm just...well, I'm not used to anything like that."

"I just wish I could find you in real life." Jimin sighed and moved beside Jungkook, then laid his head on Jungkook's legs. "I wish we could meet for real."

"I-I do too." Jungkook ran a hand through Jimin's hair. "I want to remember all of you. Every part of you. I wish...we could find each other. You said this has happened for months?"

Jimin nodded, closing his eyes. "It was so lonely...you...you were here but you weren't...you didn't talk. And then you spoke! And then you started to talk to me and respond and I remember feeling so happy." Jimin smiled. "I was so happy when you talked back."

"I didn't at first?"

"No."

Jungkook hadn't heard this before. "What...why do you have more memory than me?"

"I don't know. But you would just sit there...and I would talk to you. You seemed to listen. But you couldn't speak. And then- well, I'm not sure what happened, but you would nod and smile and it looked like you were trying to speak, but you couldn't. I mean, it felt nice to vent, but when you started to talk back it was so amazing." Jimin sighed happily. "I wanted to know how you felt about me."

"I..." Jungkook smiled, playing with Jimin's hair. "I feel happy when I wake up. And I feel peaceful when I'm here. I bet that's what it's like to be with you all of the time."

"I wish I could remember everything. Either find you on your platforms or in your cafe. I wish you could come see my performances. And I wish we could find each other."

"I didn't know I was unresponsive..." Jungkook looked at Jimin with a sort of sadness. "I'm sorry you felt lonely."

"Oh, that wasn't- that wasn't your fault." Jimin opened his eyes, looking up at Jungkook. "You've got such pretty eyes."

"You say that a lot."

"And you say I look like cotton candy a lot."

"It's just your hair." Jungkook smiled. "I dunno why it's all I can think of when I wake up."

"Ah, fair. You know...do you know that feeling, where nothing good lasts forever? I feel like I'm forgetting more and more about you." Jimin breathed shakily. "And I don't want to forget anything about you."

"Forgetting? But I...I just got here. That's not enough time." Jungkook frowned. He really wanted to be around Jimin for longer. It'd been maybe two weeks at this point, but he felt even more productive and happy than he had before.

"Maybe I've been here too long." Jimin sighed, sitting up and sitting beside Jungkook. Their legs were in opposite directions, hips against each others thighs. Jimin put a hand on Jungkook's thigh. "I don't know how all of this works. But I never questioned that I wanted to get to know you better."

"I think we'll have more time. I don't feel like I'm forgetting things." Jungkook blushed, but put his hand over Jimin's. "I'll remember things for the both of us."

Jimin smiled, looking down at their hands. "Okay. I'll keep remembering too, so you aren't overworked. I just...don't want to wake up anymore...because I'm so comfortable here."

"I get excited to sleep. I've been so drained lately, but with you in my sleep I feel refreshed when I wake up. I've been doing my schoolwork early. Me." Jungkook laughed a little, Jimin giving a giggle.

"I'm glad you have! I loved going to school." Jimin smiled wide, remembering going to school. "I liked getting good grades."

"You'd be quite embarrassed to be associated with me then." Jungkook shook his head. "Let me guess. You were a straight A student?"

Jimin nodded. "I liked being good at school, so it felt normal to be a good student." Jimin stared at Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook felt embarrassed again. "Y-yeah that isn't me at all."

Jimin looked at him with wide, pouty eyes. "Do you like affection? You seem like you need a hug."

Jungkook blushed more at how cute Jimin looked. "I...I could use a hug by you."

Jimin hugged him immediately, making Jungkook fall onto his back. Jimin's hand was on the back of his head and on his back, his body basically on top of Jungkook. "I'm glad you feel less stressed with me. You've got this."

Jungkook was surprised by the strong hug, but he slowly put his arms around Jimin, hugging him back. "You too. Whatever's stressing you out, you've got it." Jungkook could smell his hair, getting a whiff of strawberries.

"Thank you for giving me hope, Jungkook." Jimin hugged him tighter, Jungkook doing so as well. "I'll find you."

"I'll-" Jungkook woke up suddenly, unable to finish his words to...whoever was in his dreams. "No...no, no, I...I almost had it." Jungkook cursed himself, noticing he was hugging a pillow. "Damn it." Jungkook sat up.

He still felt the butterflies, the lingering touches and a lick of hope. He held his heart, feeling it beat in his chest. "Fuck."

He got up and changed his clothes, the feeling of forgetting something lingering in the air, thick as clouds.

By the time he'd gotten to work, he'd forgotten.

____

Jimin felt himself hold it together as he finished his routine, the curtains closing. As soon as it closed he rushed off the stage, finding somewhere to sit and held his thigh.
He exhaled, focusing on his breathing as he rubbed the muscle.

"You okay there Jimin?"

Jimin shook his head. "I think I might've pulled a muscle. Hoseok hyung, can you get me some ointment?" Jimin bit his bottom lip, rubbing the muscle and pressing on it.

"Sure thing." Hoseok ran off to find it, leaving Jimin alone.

"God damn it." Jimin focused on his breathing, trying to find his peace. He tried to stretch it out but winced instead, his leg feeling tight and hot.

"Okay okay, let's get this on." Hoseok came back, opening the bottle and putting the cream onto Jimin's thigh. "You'll be able to go back onstage and bow, right?"

"Yeah. But I'll have to hurry and talk to our instructor. With this, I'll have to- no no, I'll be fine." Jimin exhaled slowly, waiting for the burn of the ointment. "Fuck I outdid myself."

"You can always take a break..."

"Not when I'm this close hyung." Jimin looked up at him, shaking his head. "Not when we're this close."

"It's okay to take care of yourself first Jimin." Hoseok put a hand on Jimin's shoulder, eyes holding concern. "Our goals can always wait another month for recovery."

"We don't have time to wait hyung!" Jimin looked up at him. "We don't have time. The auditions are next month. Otherwise, who knows when we'll have another opportunity."

"Jimin..." Hoseok shook his head. "We can always wait. There's loads of opportunities."

Jimin felt like crying. "...no...no there aren't. We've gotta do it next month."

Hoseok huffed. "Then recover well! Nothing this month. We'll talk to our instructor, and get a break. Stretch, and rest. Then next month maybe we can do it."

"I can still dance." Jimin glared.

Hoseok shook his head. "No. Next month, we have to be in our best health." He huffed again. "Relax for once in your life."

Jimin looked down at his leg, biting his tongue as he felt the burn from the cream, then the coldness of it. "Damn it."

Hoseok sighed and started to massage Jimin's shoulders. "You know...if you relax this month, then when we audition for the entertainment companies to be dance instructors, I'm sure it'll be more rewarding than if you keep over working. Okay?"

Jimin nodded. "Okay. Okay. I'll be...I'll be good. I'll relax this month."

"Good." Hoseok exhaled slowly. "We'll be okay. We'll be able to do it."

"Yeah." Jimin exhaled slowly as well.

When he went home, he got something easy to eat, took a shower, then got his roller out. He slowly rolled his thigh on the roller, wincing and jumping every now and then.

He put more cream on, and went to bed.

Jungkook was already there, their location somewhere different from the only two places they'd been before. Jimin took a look around.

It was a simple room, illuminated by blue lights and the moon, one bed, one desk, and a jam packed closet of musical gear. An entire recording station, microphone, speakers, etc.

Jungkook was sitting on the bed, looking out the window. "Jungkook?"

"Jimin?" Jungkook turned around with surprise. "Did I fall asleep? Why are- why are we in my room?"

"We're in your room?" Jimin smiled and looked around again, before wincing and sitting on Jungkook's bed.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook immediately noticed Jimin's discomfort. Jimin felt slightly bad, but...shook his head. There was no point in lying.

"I hurt my leg today. And it's stressing me out because if I don't recover by next month I may not get the job I've been dying to get for years now." Jimin exhaled slowly.

Jungkook nodded. "I get that. I understand that completely. But what you need is a lot of rest. Hey, I think I get it." Jungkook smiled, nodding his head to his bed. "You came somewhere comforting and relaxing." Jungkook laid down on his bed, beckoning Jimin to lay with him. "Tell me about your dream job and I'll tell you about mine."

Jimin laid down with him, cuddling against him. "I want to be a choreographer. My hyung and I have been planning for this opportunity next month for nearly two years now...and I...if I miss it because of this stupid injury...I'm seriously going to go mad."

Jungkook rubbed Jimin's back. "You'll recover. You just need to be kind to yourself. It'll only take a couple weeks."

Jimin smiled taking in Jungkook's scent. "Thank you. What...what do you want to be?"

"I think I'll become a full time artist. After school, that is. Full time musician." Jungkook said it slowly, trying it out on his tongue. "Sounds kinda wild."

"I bet you can do it." Jimin spoke quietly. "I haven't heard anything of yours...but I know it's good."

"Let me play you some then, while you relax." Jungkook sounded embarrassed, but eager to share. Jimin let him get up and go to his desk, playing music on the computer. He came back to the bed, cuddling with Jimin again. "You'll be able to hear it better when we meet for real."

Jimin gave a weak laugh. "Sure. Maybe we'll work for the same company. Chances are slim, but maybe."

"Maybe. Maybe is good. As long as there's a chance." Jungkook flipped a blanket over them. "I'm still a little confused as to why we're in my room. I wasn't expecting company."

"It's a nice room." Jimin mumbled into Jungkook's chest, hugging him tighter. Their legs entwined. Jimin thought about his own home, then thought about Jungkook's. "Are you calm here?"

"Yeah. I share this apartment with my hyung, so it's pretty much the nicest place I know. But one day he's going to forsake me." Jungkook dramatically sighed. "He's dating a music producer and he might invite him inside my room."

"Well your music sounds lovely." Jimin mumbled. "I'm sure you'll do great to impress him."

Jungkook hummed. "I dunno. I'm afraid he'll find it all boring or nitpick it in some way. Which, I mean, it's good to be given constructive criticism, but I'm scared of that. He's...the real deal. And he's kind to me and I admire him, but- but I dunno. What if he doesn't like it?"

"But what if he does? Or likes most of it? Maybe the things you're afraid of, he'll just pick it up and work with it. You've got a promising future, and an amazing opportunity right in front of you. All you need to do is take it." Jimin tried to soothe Jungkook's nerves. "Is being a musician or artist your goal?"

Jungkook exhaled slowly. "Yes."

"Then take the steps towards it." Jimin smiled. "You'll be happy you did, rather than sad you didn't."

"Well...hopefully I remember this advice when I wake up." Jungkook ran a hand through Jimin's hair. "I wish you would be here when I wake up. I'd love to introduce you to my hyung. He'd love you."

Jimin giggled. "You think so? I think my friends would love to coo over you."

"Coo? I'm not cute." Jungkook pouted.

Jimin laughed. "Yes you are. You're so very adorable."

"Then I'll become handsome in your eyes." Jungkook huffed.

Jimin smiled. "You won't have to do much to do that. You're already very handsome. You're just also cute." Jimin thought more about it. "Hey...if you get the job you want...would you still want to be with me? I know we aren't...anything official right now, but if you become popular-"

"Yes." Jungkook cut him off, not letting Jimin become concerned. "Yes, I would still want to be with you." He sat up a little to look at Jimin. "I promise you that. I'll promise you that right now." Jungkook kissed him on the forehead, making Jimin smile.

"You're going to promise it?"

"Yes. I'm promising you right now that it's you." Jungkook reassured him once more. "So relax...recover...and get that job you want." Jungkook smiled confidently. "I know you can do it. I've barely seen you dance, but you're skilled. I can tell that much."

"You're a sweet kid." Jimin teased, smiling to himself. Jungkook really was just too cute.

"Hey, I'm an adult." Jungkook pouted. "I'm not a kid."

"Sure, sure."

"I'm saying that because I want to give you a real promise. I want to find you and I want to be with you. I'm not afraid of feedback." Jungkook gave Jimin another kiss on the forehead before laying back down and cuddling Jimin, his hand rubbing Jimin's back.

Jimin nodded, head against Jungkook's chest. He still felt some doubt. "Well...if you ever end up liking someone else, that's okay. Just so you know. I'm not holding you to it." Jimin held into Jungkook's shirt, his grip tightening while thinking. "I can't stop you from-"

"Jimin." Jungkook sounded exasperated. He sat up again, bringing Jimin up with him. "I'm promising you...that I'll find you. And when I do...I'm going to ask you to date me. No matter where I am. I'm promising you that you're it."

Jimin looked at Jungkook's honest eyes before looking down. "You can't know that...since we haven't met yet."

"I've been meeting you here. And unless you're a figment of my imagination, then I know you're real."

"Mm. Maybe I am." Jimin still felt doubtful. Jungkook gave a short laugh through his nose, then tilted Jimin's head up.

"Then you're the most beautiful, kindest person I've ever created." Jungkook held up his pinky finger. "Promise."

Jimin smiled a little. "A pinky promise?"

"Can't break one." Jungkook smiled back. "Okay?"

"Okay. I promise." Jimin entwined their pinkies, the two curling them together and shaking their hands.

"When I find you...or if you find me...what- what should we do?" Jungkook was still smiling, but he seemed confused.

Jimin thought about it, their entwined pinkies becoming entwined hands. "Well...I'm going to need a long hug."

"Perfect."

"And a long kiss." Jimin nodded, playfully being serious. Jungkook nodded too, smiling wide.

"Anything else?"

"Well, I'm sure we could find somewhere nice to hang out and spend our time together."

"A planned date hm? I'll dream it next time." Jungkook brought Jimin's hand to his lips, kissing it slow and soft.

Jimin nodded. "Next time. I'd love to see what kind of date you'd dream up." Jimin gave him a sly grin, feeling the dream start to end. "Maybe I'll get a glance of where you are."

"I just want to see you for real." Jungkook pouted, and Jimin could tell that Jungkook was feeling the dream end as well.

"Me too Jungkook. I want to just as badly as you do." He sighed sadly, staring at Jungkook's eyes yet again.

"I-"

Jungkook woke up, feeling his stomach full of butterflies again. "I'll find you. I'll...what?" Jungkook groaned as he felt the dream fade. He still woke up fully rested, but there was always a lingering feeling of something else. Jungkook didn't know why he was thinking or feeling anymore, but he wrote down the words he said.

He took a big breath then got up. He went to his class, then headed to his job. Jungkook absentmindedly sketched on the bus ride there, bringing his backpack with him so he could read schoolwork while working. He wondered if Namjoon was coming by again. He wanted to ask him more questions.

When he got to his stop, Jungkook saw his notebook and looked at it in confusion. He got off, getting to his job and getting behind the counter.

"Jungkook, how was your morning?" Jin smiled, cleaning up the spaces and started making Jungkook a drink. "Another dream?"

"Yeah. I did but it's...it's getting more difficult to wake up." Jungkook gave a small smile and got his homework out. "Like...like I feel light but so heavy. I don't feel like waking up, but when I do I feel rested. And I know him. He's in my dreams, and I see him every night and he's in my head but I just don't...don't have anything else." Jungkook sighed.

Jin handed him his drink. "You could save up for a dream test. Some scientists have found a way to watch people's dreams."

"Money hyung. I don't have money for that. But I could...see, here's what I'm thinking." Jungkook ignored his open book, sipping his drink and turning to Jin. "If I take Namjoon hyungs offer. Say I make a platform and say I get big enough to get his attention. Then what?"

"I dunno. He dm's you, and you two find each other." Jin shrugged. "Say you make it big enough to catch his attention. You need to work to get there."

Jungkook nodded, but felt bad. "But I don't want to leave you here."

"Jungkook. I'm a manager. Not the boss. Besides..." Jin smiled wide and happy. "I'm trying to get out of here too."

"No way! I thought you were destined to make drinks and loving eyes at customers." Jungkook teased, earning a smack on the shoulder from Jin.

"I'm too handsome to stay stuck in here."

"Sure hyung." Jungkook smiled and took another sip, looking down at his book. "You think I could find him?"

"You're very confident he's a he?" Jin raised an eyebrow.

Jungkook blushed. "Oh. I guess I have been saying he and him, haven't I?"

"You have."

"Hm." Jungkook felt embarrassed. "I'm not sure. I know...ugh, it's like I know things but I can't remember them."

"Maybe just...try and feel it then." Jin smiled at him, taking a look at his book. "Maybe it's a feel thing."

"Huh...I wonder...if that's true. Maybe I should try and do that." Jungkook took a big breath, then let it out slowly. "Maybe I've been trying to think it through too hard." He drank more, lost in thought, speaking his mind. "Maybe if I just focus on the feeling I'll remember more words."

"I wonder if you could write in your sleep." Jin laughed a little at the thought.

Jungkook smiled. "I don't think so. But I do like that idea. Maybe I'm thinking too hard." Jungkook shrugged. "Maybe it's a feeling thing."

Namjoon came in, someone else with him. "Hyung! How's your day been?" He became shy, smiling at Seokjin before nodding at Jungkook.

Jungkook watched Namjoon blush, knowing he'd looked only at Seokjin. Jin smiled. "What can I get you guys?"

"Ah, whatever you'd like to make and a black coffee for him." Namjoon went up to the counter, his friend lingering.

Jungkook closed his book and went to make the black coffee, letting Jin take care of Namjoon's drink. "So...you brought a friend this time?"

Namjoon nodded, looking at his friend who cleared his throat. "I'm Min Yoongi. It's nice to meet you two, I've heard only good things." He seemed shy, giving Jungkook a small smile, and Jin a nod.

Jungkook stared at him with wide, surprised eyes. Yoongi seemed to notice and shied away, Namjoon giving a big smile. "Yes, that Min Yoongi. I told you what company I work for."

"I had no idea." Jungkook squeaked out an answer, clearing his throat and looking at Yoongi. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you to. You're...the musician, correct?"

Jungkook nodded, still starstruck by the two of them together. He handed him his coffee.

Yoongi nodded a thanks. "Well...Namjoon's offer still stands. We'll be having some trainees coming around soon. If you're interested, I'd start now." Yoongi smiled a little. "I...may or may not have looked around YouTube." He shied away again.

Jungkook blushed red, still dumbfounded. "I-oh god- I-" he blinked a lot, Jin stifling a laugh, Jungkook snapping back into reality. "And you think I should audition?"

"I do. You could learn a lot and get even better. You've already got a uniqueness to you. I'd look forward to seeing more of it."

Jungkook felt like he could foam at the mouth from Min Yoongi complimenting him.

"Wow that's- I'm- I'm speechless, thank you." Jungkook spoke quickly and quietly, bowing over and over.

Jin finally handed over Namjoon's drink. Namjoon paid and smiled wide. "Whenever you want to reach out to me, I'll be here to answer. You've got about a month to act on it. Anyways, I'll see you two tomorrow." Namjoon waved goodbye, Jungkook bowing again.

When they left, Jungkook nearly broke down. "Oh my god hyung I'm going to lose it. They- they found my channel. What- what do I do? I...I should...I should sign up, shouldn't I. I should- I should contact him. Oh god hyung what if- oh fuck they liked it." Jungkook sat down on the floor, eyes wide with fear and excitement. "I could start off soon. I could drop out of college."

Jin laughed. "Jungkook! You'll be fine. You don't have to think this through right this moment." He kneeled down and put a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "Okay? Bit by bit. That's all you gotta do."

Jungkook let out a large breath. "Okay. Um...I'll...get...I'll learn more about the company tonight. See if I have to apply or if I just have to show up...and prepare...to go to it."

"Good, good."

"And then...I'll finish the school year. And then...and then I'll uh...try and be a musician. Fuck."

"Ah, what a good thought. Maybe one day I'll be an actor, and you'll be a musician, and we'll be rich and fun to be around." Jin stood up and held a hand out to help Jungkook up.

Jungkook laughed, taking his hand. "Sure hyung. That'll be the end goal."

"I want to go to your music award shows and watch you win. Okay?"

"Same to you." Jungkook smiled wide, still holding Seokjin's hand. They shook their hands.

"Deal."

____

"Woah! How'd you do this?"

"I thought it up!" Jimin excitedly prepped things.

Jungkook looked around, seeing the small apartments kitchenette and the two person table. Jimin was prepping the table, putting food on it. There was a target candle in the middle, napkins and utensils prepped already. Jimin was in the kitchen, and Jungkook was sitting at the table.

"How'd you do it? I haven't been able to think too much about...how'd you think..." Jungkook was astonished. "How'd you get it to work for you?"

"The brain is an intelligent thing!" Jimin was smiling excitably. "I figured some of it out. If you can learn how to sleep with control of your dreams, you can do anything. So welcome to my apartment." Jimin finished the meal, and Jungkook fell in love even harder. Jimin turned to Jungkook with the widest smile, his happiness radiating.

"Wow." Jungkook melted into a smile as Jimin put the bowls down, sitting across from him. The table was small, their knees touching. "Thank you. I'm...I should learn how to do that. I'd love to take you on a bigger date. If...of course, you'd like that." Jungkook blushed, looking down at the food. He wondered if it would be like real food.

Jimin smiled. "I would love that. Oh my...oh my, you look absolutely adorable." Jimin poured himself a drink, leaving the wine bottle on the table. "I hope you enjoy tonight."

"How's your recovery going?" Jungkook ate, Jimin doing so as well.

"Ah...it feels so weird to relax and work on other things."

"And work? Jimin, you're supposed to be relaxing." Jungkook gave him a small smile.

"I have been! I've just also...been doing tasks around the house." Jimin shied away. "I had to do something."

"Well..." Jungkook looked up at Jimin, feeling his cheeks heat up more. Jimin was looking at him, pretty as always, leaning his cheek on his hand. "What- what did you do then?"

Jimin's eyes smiled. "I cleaned the place and tried to think of ways to think of you."

Jungkook stopped looking at Jimin, breaking their eye contact to pay attention to his food. "That's...why am I a priority?" Jungkook felt himself become shy and quiet, his voice nearly giving out.

"I wake up happy because of you. So...I think it's important to find ways to connect to you better." Jimin poked Jungkook's foot with his own. "Right?"

Jungkook nodded. "My...my hyung said that maybe we should feel more...instead of think."

"Oh?" Jimin drank a little more. "What do you mean by feel more, exactly?"

"Oh my god not like that." Jungkook blushed more, hanging his head. He put his utensil down and put his head in his hands. "I'm sorry- I mean-"

Jimin laughed loudly, leaning forward while doing so. "You're so cute!"

"I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry I'm- I meant more emotionally not- not- not physically-" Jungkook hid his face more, leaning back in his chair.

"I wouldn't mind either. Or both options." Jimin ate, watching Jungkook's ears turn red. "I guess I'll leave you to think about that. But maybe you're right. I've been thinking a lot, maybe I need to feel more."

"We should- could, try." Jungkook spoke quietly.

"Try what exactly, hm?" Jimin drank more, poring himself another glass of wine. "Want any?"

"I don't drink much..."

"Ah, shame." Jimin hummed. "You didn't answer my question?"

"Jimin..."

"Yes Jungkook? You aren't hungry? Why don't you finish your food? Then we can watch a movie or something." Jimin poked his foot again, Jungkook shaking his head.

"I'm too red at the moment..."

"It's cute. I want to see your face red." Jimin smiled, poking Jungkook's foot again, before sliding up his leg a little, then back down.

Jungkook shook his head again, giving a pathetic whine. "I'm...I'm too embarrassed, I'm sorry." Jungkook felt the heat from his cheeks, knowing his ears and chest were most likely flushed as well. He couldn't believe the direction this conversation went, feeling absolutely downright embarrassed.

Jimin laughed again. "It's okay! You don't have to apologize. Though, I'd love to see your cute face." Jimin stood up, going around to Jungkook. He pulled his chair back just enough, and sat on his lap, crossing his legs while putting his arms around Jungkook's neck. "Can't I have a peak?"

Jungkook leaned back, closing his eyes tightly while shaking his head again. "Jimin...I'm..."

"Handsome, is what you are." Jimin tried to pry Jungkook's hands away, feeling Jungkook become weaker at his touch. Jimin smiled at the idea. He easily got Jungkook's hands away, smiling wider when he saw Jungkook pout and look up at him through his eyelashes.

"Jimin..." Jungkook didn't know where to put his hands.

Jimin put his hands on Jungkook's cheeks, loving how hot he was under his touch. "Jungkook...can I kiss you?" Jimin watched Jungkook nod slowly, placing his own hands over Jimin's.

Jimin leaned closer, kissing him and closing his eyes. Jungkook kissed back, leaning into it as well. Jimin let it stay as lips only, turning his head just slightly so that he could fit their lips together. He slowly took Jungkook's bottom lip, bitting down on it ever so lightly and pulling away, just to tease him a little bit.

Jungkook pathetically whined again. "Jimin..."

"Yes?" Jimin spoke quietly against his lips, Jungkook's hands moving...to Jimin's back and under his legs. Jimin was quickly picked up, his eyes going wide at the movement and arms being thrown around Jungkook's neck once again. "Jungkook!"

"I...your lips are really nice." Jungkook started walking to the small living room, but Jimin pointed him to a different room.

"We might as well lay down, no?" Jimin felt small, but still in charge somehow.

"S-sure."

Jimin snaked his hand into Jungkook's hair, grabbing at his neck. Jimin pointed to his bed when they got there, Jungkook setting him down. Jungkook sat next to him, Jimin immediately sitting on his lap again. "Put your hands on my waist...or thighs. Either is fine."

"I-I'm...Jimin..." Jungkook was still red, though the lights were off in the room, he could tell that Jimin knew it too.

"No, I'm Jimin. Now come on." Jimin patted his thighs. "I want to kiss you more, and I think you'd have a better time with your hands on me."

"Jimin, I'm- I look stupid don't I, why d-do you..." Jungkook's voice trailed off, Jimin taking that as a sign to kiss him. He took Jungkook's arms and put them around his waist.

Jungkook kissed back, his blush feeling permanent. He started to feel more comfortable after he felt Jimin's hands play with his hair. He liked that Jimin was leading, it was something to lean back on without feeling the need to take responsibility. He also liked that Jimin was being slow. He definitely needed that.

Jimin finally broke away from the kiss, smiling wide as Jungkook followed his lips. "You like kissing me?"

"You've got soft lips. I...I haven't kissed anyone before."

"Oh my god you're adorable." Jimin cooed, giving him another quick kiss. "I'm really your first? Wow, I feel honored."

Jungkook nodded, leaning towards Jimin's lips again. "Yeah. You're my first kiss."

"And you're...how old?" Jimin teased.

Jungkook whined in response. "I'm 20, you know this."

Jimin giggled. "I know. It's just so adorable. You're so handsome." Jimin ran a hand through Jungkook's hair again, playing with the ends. He looked at his lips. "I forgot to ask you about your day."

"You seem preoccupied." Jungkook smiled.

"I am, but I want to listen. Wanna tell me about your day? Was it better than mine?" Jimin gave him another quick kiss.

Jungkook hummed. "I had a good day. I got to meet some cool people and I might be able to start being a musician soon." Jungkook leaned forward and gave him another small kiss. "Aren't you just so lovely." Jungkook smiled, melting at Jimin's hand on his neck that was playing with his hair. Jungkook held his hands together around Jimin's waist.

"That's so cool. Are you gunna do it? For real? If you go big maybe I'll see you." Jimin smiled wide, giving another kiss. "Hopefully I see you. Make it big." Jimin kissed him again. "Okay?"

Jungkook nodded. "I don't wanna live without this. I can't imagine living without this." He smiled happily, looking up at Jimin with a bit more confidence than before.

"Then make it big. I'll be on the lookout if I can only remember. If I get into the entertainment industry too...then I'm sure I'll find you." Jimin gave him another kiss. "I'm sure we'll find each other."

"I'm sure we will too." Jungkook gave a dopey smile. "If we end up in the same direction I'm sure we will. I know I'll remember cotton candy." Jungkook wanted to touch his hair.

"I know it. I can feel that much. That we'll eventually find each other." Jimin moved a little closer and hugged Jungkook, head resting on Jungkook's shoulder. "I'll try and be someone you'll find."

Jungkook rubbed Jimin's back, one hand going to Jimin's neck to play with the hair at the end. "You already are." Jungkook felt Jimin curl up on him, slowly pushing them to lay down. Jungkook started to get comfortable, loving Jimin against him. It felt like they were about to sleep, and that the dream would be ending.

"I wish...I just want to wake up with you too." Jimin spoke quietly, drawing circles on Jungkook's chest. "I wish I could find you faster."

"It'll happen in due time. I'm sure we'll find each other at the right time." Jungkook kept playing with Jimin's hair. "Okay?"

"Yeah. You're right. I'm... I'm rushing things. I'll feel more. I'm going to feel more. But I do like that you're in my apartment. I like sharing our places."

"It did surprise me...to be in my house last time. I didn't think it was possible."

"You have to want it. I guess you wanted me near you last time."

"It's true." Jungkook laughed sleepily, his voice a little rough. "I did. I really did."

"I'm glad."

Jungkook woke up, feeling rested and light. He was hugging his pillow, the lasting emotions of longing sticking around. He sat up, looking at the pillow. He had the feeling that whoever he was dreaming of...was somehow fading. Their meetings were getting...shorter. The time was passing faster.

Jungkook got up, going to his class, then sitting in his recording room to get a new version of his latest song he wrote. It had to be perfect. He spent the afternoon singing, perfecting the sounds, writing down what to change, then perfecting his vocals.

He nervously played the piano with one hand while scrolling through his YouTube comments on his phone, wondering if he should call Namjoon. He knew him, it wouldn't be a scary call. But he was still anxious about everything afterwards. He was going to have to work twice as hard, maybe finish school, and start as a trainee. A trainee...Jungkook felt anxious at the thought.

He slowly got the business card out, putting in the number, and hovered over the call button. This was it. This would be the final decision.

He pressed the button, his anxious hand playing the piano poorly. He felt his heart beating faster, his foot started to tap.

The like picked up and Jungkook swiveled in his chair, away from his piano, and heard Namjoon. "Hey Jungkook! I'm glad you decided to give me a call. Are you thinking of taking our offer? Yoongi is excited to know you."

"Oh! Is- is he?" Jungkook winced at his stuttering. "But yes. Yes I would like to take you up on your offer. I want to be a trainee." Jungkook exhaled quietly after he said it. It was freeing, but didn't heal his anxiety.

"Perfect!" Namjoon started to go down a list of things, such as where he had to show up and on what days, along with what he'd need to prepare for those days. "How does that sound? I know it's a lot, but I know you'll be able to do it. With your own songs of course. Yoongi will be one of the judges of the days I gave you, so you'll have a better opportunity of getting what you want."

"O-oh woah, wait, he'd be a judge? On my- on my first auditions? Oh god." Jungkook felt himself become more anxious, his stomach hurting slightly. "What if I mess up in front of them all? Especially him?" Jungkook fret, but Namjoon just laughed.

"Hang on." Jungkook heard Namjoon call someone over, then a little more laughing, before a loud thump. "You'll do perfectly Jungkook! I have full faith in you, even if you mess up." Yoongi spoke, and Jungkook felt anxious along with emotional.

He teared up while feeling his stomach knot up. "T-thank you! I'll do my best for you!" Jungkook bowed in his chair, then felt embarrassed for doing so. He was feeling a lot at the moment.

He heard the two laugh on the other side. "We look forward to seeing you Jungkook."

"Thank you for the opportunity!" Jungkook sat up and puffed his chest, feeling proud. He was going to do his best for the two of them and- and? And...and someone else. Jungkook couldn't think of who else he was doing this for.

"Take care Jungkook." Namjoon hung up, leaving Jungkook to feel the weight on his chest. Instead of letting it weigh him down, he went to workout.

He took a shower afterwards, then spent time on YouTube, humming the song he was working on, before abandoning everything and playing video games. He was too anxious to eat dinner that night, instead, heading to bed rather early.

It was an odd thing to wake up, in a dream. Jungkook was at a beach, sitting on a blanket. Jimin was sitting next to him, his eyes closed, cutely swaying side to side. "Oh. You're here. How...how was your day?" Jungkook decided to speak first, knowing that he had to start giving just as much effort as Jimin was.

Jimin didn't answer.

"Hm." Jungkook poked him, wondering if this is what it was like for Jimin whenever he went to sleep first.

Jimin still didn't answer, only barely swaying side to side.

Jungkook felt a little worried. Is this what Jimin had seen when he said Jungkook was unresponsive the first few months? Is this what Jimin had dealt with? He understood now.

He understood why Jimin was so excited to hear him talk and see him exist. Why he was scared to have him leave, and why he was excited to respond to him. Why he seemed so desperate.

"Oh man. I didn't realize Jimin." Jungkook looked at the ocean. The sky was that pleasant cotton candy coloring.

"Oh! You went to bed before me, I'm sorry." Jimin looked at Jungkook with wide apologetic eyes, a small pout on his face. "Are you okay?"

Jungkook look at him with relief. "Oh god yeah. I...is that...what you deal with every night?" Jungkook felt sad for him. "Why do you do that to yourself?"

"A-ah...I...I didn't really want you to find out. It's...a little creepy to be honest. But I would rather you not experience it so much...I'm used to it. And I don't want you to be scared." Jimin looked at him, still apologetically. "Sorry you saw it."

Jungkook couldn't understand why Jimin was apologizing. "It...was bound to happen. You can't always sleep first. Besides, you shouldn't apologize for that. I didn't know what you were living with..." Jungkook looked down at the blanket the two were sitting on.

Jimin shook his head and took Jungkook's hand. "I'm used to it now. It's a little scary at first so I didn't want you to feel scared. The blankness is a little...you know, concerning." He brought Jungkook's hand up to his lips, kissing the back of it softly. "Sorry you had to see it."

"Why are you apologizing?" Jungkook shook his head. "There's- there's nothing to apologize for? You can't always fall asleep first. Besides, it looks like you were having a nice time...before you joined me..." Jungkook gave a shrug.

Jimin kissed his hand again. "You're sweet. I..." Jimin paused, smiling apologetically again. "I was dancing..."

"Aren't you supposed to be resting?" Jungkook looked up and raised a playful eyebrow at him. "You should rest Jimin, I'm sure dancing is straining." Jungkook turned his hand around and grabbed Jimin's wrist, pulling him closer. Jimin lost his balance and ended up laying on Jungkook's lap.

"Oof! J-Jungkook-"

"Nope, you've gotta relax. And what better way than by the ocean?" Jungkook pet Jimin's hair.

Jimin pouted. "I'm sure some kisses would be relaxing."

"Not sure if relaxing is the right word." Jungkook laughed quietly. "Cause kissing is- is a little bit- it's a little bit energizing." Jungkook blushed at his stutter.

Jimin gave a chuckle, wiggling around so he was on his back and looking up at Jungkook. "Was kissing new for you? It was new for me too."

Jungkook nodded, still playing with Jimin's hair. "I...it was new. I didn't know what to do at first...but it...it's nice. I like it."

"I like it too." Jimin smiled up at Jungkook before closing his eyes and listening to the beach.

Jungkook watched the sky, hand playing with Jimin's hair. He stayed silent for the time being, watching the sun set and letting Jimin rest.

"I...used to go to the ocean as a celebration...with my family. We would all go to the beach when one of us would get straight A's...by that I mean when my brother got straight A's. Or when we would do well in our sports. Or if something good happened to one of us."

"Did something good happen to you?" Jimin asked quietly, but engaging in the conversation.

"Yeah. I...I accepted the offer I was telling you about. I'm gunna start auditions for becoming an artist."

"That's amazing Jungkook!" Jimin sat up quickly with a big smile on his face. He suddenly bursted into a laugh, hugging Jungkook while pushing him backwards onto the blanket. "That makes me so happy! Next month! I'll try for my new job next month, and then- and then I'll get to see you!"

"I'm hoping so Jimin." Jungkook smiled, then laughed. Jimin was contagious. "I'm really hoping so."

"It'll have to happen eventually! There's no way we won't meet. It's fate." Jimin laid on top of Jungkook and stared at his eyes, smiling wide.

Jungkook blushed. "R-right."

"You're cute." Jimin glanced at his lips, hand on Jungkook's chest. "Mind if I?..."

"Go ahead." Jungkook smiled, before getting kissed by Jimin.

Jungkook melted into it, loving Jimin's lips on his own. Jimin kissed him very kindly, and very slowly. "I'm proud of you. Did you know that?"

Jungkook hugged Jimin closer, smiling wide. "I'm glad. I'm so happy. I'm glad you're proud of me."

"You're taking big steps, yet you're so young." Jimin kissed him again. "And for that...I'm proud of you."

"Thank you. I'm proud of you too...for resting through a tough time." Jungkook expected more kisses, and he did receive them. "Though...you didn't today."

"I just...wanted to move my body. I've been stretching just so I can heal quicker." Jimin pouted. "I need to heal by next week, without losing any flexibility."

"And you'll be able to, but not with extra stress." Jungkook brought Jimin down to kiss him again. "Besides...you'll have a greater reward later if you wait now."

"I just want to perform again." Jimin confessed. "But...you're right." He sighed. "I want to dance. I can't wait for you to meet me. We can dance and sing! Isn't that going to be fun." Jimin imagined it, smiling wide. He flopped beside Jungkook, looking up at the sky. "Isn't that going to be fun."

Jungkook looked at him, Jimin looking at him too. "Yeah. It's going to be really fun." The two held hands, smiling at each other. "I'm sure one day it'll happen. Though I'm not sure when that day is."

"I think I'm thinking too hard. But there might be reasons for everything. I was thinking about why you weren't responsive at first. Because you would do...you would do what you saw tonight. You would be there...but you weren't responsive. So I wonder why that is. You're like that when I sleep first. And I know it's cause you need to fall asleep. But...why wouldn't you do it before?" Jimin looked up at the sky again the cotton candy sky becoming darker.

A lightbulb turned on in Jungkook's head. "Oh! Wait, I think I get it then! My sleep schedule was um...really bad a couple months ago until my roommate forced me to get it better. I used to stay up all night so I could use music, and then I would sleep in the morning before my work." Jungkook felt slightly bad.

"Well no wonder!" Jimin sat up, looking down at Jungkook. "I was going mad!"

"I'm sorry!" Jungkook felt worse. He knew he'd do the same if he'd experienced that every night. "B-but I think it's only at night. Because I never- I never had it happen to me when I was asleep in the day time."

"And I wonder why it happened when it did. Why did we suddenly dream of each other?" Jimin pondered out loud.

"Huh." Jungkook squeezed Jimin's hand. "I have no idea."

"It just makes me wonder what about that period of time...why was it that we needed each other?"

____

Jimin ran through the street, not wanting to be late to his audition again. He couldn't be late again. He'd gotten up early. He'd taken the time to stretched out beforehand, too. Yet...he'd still missed the bus he needed, and now he was running. Fuck, he was running and he was going to be late and now when he got there he was going to be gross and breathing hard and why was he even going?

Why was he even still trying if he wasn't going to-

He bumped into someone, the two nearly spinning 180 degrees, and apologized immediately. "Oh I'm so sorry!" Jimin blushed, deeply ashamed, but he felt his eyes start to water. He bowed low, as to stop his tears from falling. He was going to miss his audition, and it wasn't this persons fault, and he ran into them, and now he was breathing hard and nearly crying and everything he'd been working toward for the last five months-

"Are you okay?" A soft, quiet voice spoke, almost shyly. "I must've turned that corner a tad bit...out of nowhere..."  he sounded like a young boy, though, he must've been tall for a boy, since Jimin was certain he hit his shoulder.

"I'm really sorry." Jimin kept his head bowed. He couldn't stand the shame of crying in front of a stranger.

"You seem...like you're in a hurry. Um, if you'd like...do you need a ride somewhere?" The shy boy spoke even quieter, finally making Jimin look up.

This was not a boy at all. A broad shouldered man stood in front of him, wearing a cute sweater that complimented his style. However handsome he was, it didn't stop Jimin's tears from welling up in his eyes. "I'm- I'm so sorry." Jimin hid his face, carefully dabbing his eyes. "I'm going to be late if I stay any longer."

"Let me take you where you need to go. As- as a sorry for not looking where I'm walking." He gave a small smile, blushing a little.

Jimin shook his head. "I'm- I'm the one in the wrong here, I shouldn't get-"

"You have somewhere to be. Let me take you there." He shrugged. "It's the least I can do."

Jimin looked at him again. "...how, might I ask?"

"My hyungs car. I'm positive he'll let me borrow it for a hot second." He gave another small smile. "Is that alright? How much time do you have?"

Jimin looked at his phone. "About...10 minutes if we leave now."

"Oh! Well, uh, lemme- wait right here I'll drive by!" Jungkook gave Jimin a "wait right here" finger before skidding off. Jimin gave a small laugh before calming his breath.

Maybe he'd make it on time. He did really need this...if he got this, maybe he'd be able to audition for more music companies. All he wanted to do was make choreography with Hoseok and have others use it for their music. The two of them had been dancing for ages, and if he could just get this audition down...

The man came by in a car, unlocking it for Jimin to enter. Jimin quickly got in and told him where he needed to go.

"Wow! Do you work there?"

"Not yet." Jimin smiled. "Hopefully after today I will."

"As...?"

"A choreographer."

"Oooo~ that's so cool! I wanna be a musician one day. Maybe we'll meet! Who knows." He smile, trying to create small talk. Jimin could tell he was pushing himself to even do that.

He took a while to look at the man, before looking out the window, knowing they were fairly close to his destination. "You know...I'm glad there's still people like you in the world."

"I-oh?" He seemed taken aback by this.

"You saw someone in trouble, and without a second thought wanted to help. Not only that, but you did help. And it's people like you, that make the world a better place. Thank you so much."

The man parked the car and rolled down the window, Jimin getting out. He leaned in the opened window. "Thank you again."

"It's- it's no problem. Can- can I get your name?" He had wide, doe eyes, full of hope, and what Jimin could only assume was his own galaxy within them. Jimin knew better than what the man was trying to hide, his obvious flirting flattering.

"In your dreams kid." Jimin smiled and waved goodbye, going into the building.

Jimin auditioned well, getting back home on a bus that he didn't miss this time. Jimin ate, took a shower, and relaxed for the day.

But when he slept, he had the weirdest dream. He was in a field, the sky a beautiful pink color, almost the same color as his hair. When he turned to his side, he saw a man laying down, eyes closed, breathing peacefully.

"H...hello?" Jimin felt completely...conscious.

This was an odd dream. Not something he'd felt before. He felt here...yet he knew he was sleeping. Lucid dreaming, perhaps?

He was answered with silence, so Jimin stood up and walked around. There was probably something to do here, maybe he could make something happen, if he was lucid dreaming. Though, he had to admit, that guy looked familiar. He wasn't sure why.

Jimin wandered off, wondering why he was here. Maybe the layout would change. Maybe he'd wake up. Maybe something would happen.

But nothing did. He spent the night walking in the field, watching the sky settle into the beautiful blue of night stars.

When he woke up, he felt...confusion. What an odd dream. He couldn't remember a thing except for the stars. They were beautiful.

Jimin went on with his day, the regular dance practice, preparing for another performance, stretching, eating here and there, more stretching, and finally getting home. He was now worrying about the audition, but he put it to the back of his mind after his shower.

He got ready for bed, and slept.

He found himself back at the field. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking to his side once again. That...that man was there again.

Jimin decided to take a good look at him this time. He was familiar, but he wasn't quite sure how. Maybe someone he'd had a conversation with one time. Dreams only include people you've seen, after all.

He wondered now...why he was having the same dream. Usually when he had the same dream it was because it was a nightmare, but this dream didn't feel like fear. It was a little...peaceful, to be honest.

The pink sky, the warm air, and...the man next to him. He was handsome, he had to admit, but it was odd that he was here again.

Jimin didn't understand this at all. "Hello?" Jimin tried to talk to the man again. He sat next to him, cautiously looking over him.

He was simply laying there, eyes closed, but this time his fingers were moving...as if...playing the piano? But he was just laying down...Jimin shook his head, confused. He was acting like a human, but this was a dream...

"Are you...here? Right now? Or am I just dreaming this. Why are you here?" Jimin questioned him. "Do I know you?"

Jimin was answered with silence.

"Hmph." Jimin turned away from him. "Fine. Stay silent. Maybe I'll just...find somewhere to be...since this is happening again." Jimin stood up, looking down on the man laying there. His fingers were still playing, and a smile was on his face.

Jimin gave him an odd look. It looked almost unnatural to look so alive. It was somewhat...chilling. Jimin gave him one last look before walking off again.

He walked most of the night, loving the fact that he never got cold. The night turned from pink to the lovely blue, starry night.

This happened for a week. Jimin would sleep, see a sleeping man next to him, question him a little bit, then find somewhere to walk to.

It wasn't until a month in that Jimin finally started to feel lonely. He was waking up feeling odd, but couldn't remember anything except the stars.

He would sleep, dream of the same thing, wake up, and forget it. Every night.

Jimin sat alone this time, away from where he usually wakes up. He wanted to be alone. This time was different. He felt a lot of stress. He was alone, even though there was someone with him, he was tired, and he was stressed from work. He hadn't heard back from the company, he hadn't been eating very much, and he was just very very stressed.

And these dreams surely weren't helping.

The next month felt even lonelier.

He looked at the man beside him and this time, he was sitting up. His eyes were open, but he wasn't responsive. He was playing the piano again, swaying a little while playing it. Jimin wished he could hear it, see it, anything at all.

"Please...just...please give me something!" Jimin finally rose his voice grabbing the mans collar and staring at the void that was-

He started singing softly.

Jimin nearly cried on the spot, his eyes wide. He felt his throat close up, holding back the tears he felt coming on.

He sounded so lovely. He sounded so soft, and kind, and absolutely lovely. Jimin let go of his collar, instead, he grabbed his sweater, thunking his head on the mans chest. "I just...want to know you. I just want to know you." Jimin gripped his sweater. "I'm all alone here, and you're- you must be someone. You must be real."

He simply kept singing, his arms out as if playing the piano. Jimin clung to him, feeling himself calm down, and feel emotional. "You've got a nice voice. I just wish...I could talk to you too." Jimin spoke quietly so he could hear him sing.

Jimin spent the dream like this, resting against the mans chest. He heard him mess up, and laugh, before finishing his song. "Isn't that something cool? I need to round the edges, but after that, doesn't it sound good? I think I might just record it." He sounded happy, and Jimin nodded.

"It sounds great. I loved it a lot." Jimin knew he wasn't taking to him...but it sounded like he was, and Jimin would take it.

He laughed again. "Thank you hyung! I tried my hardest. I really like how this ones sounds."

"It sounds lovely...I wish...I knew your name." Jimin felt his chest tighten. He just wanted to connect to this person. He seemed so sweet, always smiling and being creative. His voice was so soft. He wanted to listen to it for hours. He wanted anything at all. For him to be so unresponsive for a month, and now suddenly sing brought Jimin peace.

"Hyung, you gotta stop calling me Kookie. You won't take me as seriously if you keep that up." He spoke again, this time pouting. "I know you want to keep me young, but I can't be a baby forever." He smiled after this, then suddenly hugged Jimin.

Jimin took the comfort, hugging back. At this point, he would take whatever he could.

"Thank you hyung. I promise I'll sleep eventually. Just not yet."

"No...no, sleep you idiot. You'll- you'll see me." Jimin sighed heavily, closing his eyes and putting his weight onto Kookie. At least he got some of his name.

When Jimin woke up that morning, he felt a little better. As if he'd had a more pleasant dream. But he couldn't remember it. Jimin felt a mixed amount of emotions. He wanted to remember the dream. He felt like he should've remembered it. But he also woke up feeling better, so he should feel happier.

But he had the lasting feeling of missing something. And he simply couldn't place it. There's was something big that Jimin was missing, and he could feel it, but he couldn't remember.

He went throughout his days again, wondering why things were happening the way they were.

And it wasn't until the third month that Jimin lost it.

He'd finally gotten the call from the audition, and he didn't get in. He was going to have to wait a couple more months for his second choice industry, and he really just felt crushed.

He knew he could've done better. He knew he wouldn't have made it in, why would he have?

Of course his endless hours of work and pain were fucking useless. Of course it was just going down the drain.

Jimin finally had enough, standing up and yelling up at the sky. He just screamed, letting it all out, after all, he was alone in this dream anyways.

He let it all out, finally, finally getting it all out, before slowly squatting down and burrowing his face into his legs, crossing his arms to hide even further and crying.

He felt so bad. He was alone, and lonely, and he absolutely failed his goal, and now he had to admit it. He had to admit that he'd reached too far, pulled himself out too thin, worked too hard all for nothing. He was absolutely usele-

"Hey...are you...okay?"

Jimin snapped his head up to see the man who was always sleeping, standing awkwardly next to him now. "You're awake!" Jimin wiped his eyes and stood up quickly. "Are you here? Are you real?"

He seemed taken aback, as he took a small step backwards. Jimin encroached, desperate for the contact. "I- are you- are you okay?" He turned his head a little, looking confused.

"You're talking to me! I'm feeling great." Jimin smiled wide, wiping his eyes more. "Gosh, ignore all this though. I'm Park Jimin. It's so nice to meet you."

"I-I'm...Jeon Jungkook. But, I'm sorry to say, I don't think I can ignore it. Do you...need a hug?" Jungkook seemed kind, wanting to help, so Jimin let him.

"Yes." Jimin hugged him, grabbing the back of his sweater tightly. There was desperation seeping in, Jimin knew this, but it felt so nice. He was like a giant teddy bear.

He also didn't let go. He let Jimin hug him as long as he needed to, and when he finally let go, Jimin did feel better. "You good now?"

Jimin nodded. "Thank you. That...that's very kind of you." Jimin smiled at him. He finally noticed his features, and his eyes. They seemed to take in the entire universe. "Wow." Jimin nearly whispered.

Jungkook blushed at Jimin's staring. "Is...there something wrong?..."

"Oh no, I'm just...your eyes are stunningly beautiful." Jimin smiled. "That's all."

He blushed more. "T-thank- thank y- thank you." He stumbled, pursing his lips and looking down.

"Aw, I'd love to look at them more. A shame that you'd look away." Jimin casually flirted, liking his reactions. He pulled back on it though, not wanting him to go away. "U-um, I'm sorry. It's just that I'm very happy that you're here with me." Jimin smiled wider, laughing a little.

"I'm...g-glad I'm- I'm here with you. Was...are you doing better now?" He asked cautiously, his stutter reminding Jimin of someone.

"I'm doing much better now that you're here."

"I..." Jungkook was still looking down. "I'm dreaming...right? Isn't this...I think I'm dreaming."

"Yes. This is a dream." Jimin nodded. He felt a little funny though, his chest kind of warming up.

"Huh." Jungkook looked up, seeing the sky. Jimin looked into his eyes. "Cotton candy huh? Those blues and pinks go so well together, don't they."

"They do."

"You've got such a bright hair color too." He glanced at Jimin before blushing again, quickly looking back at the sky.

"I do. Do you like it?" Jimin smiled before cursing himself for flirting again. It came too casually to him. He was a handsome man, why wouldn't he try? "Sorry I'm just-" Jimin felt flustered.

"No no, I do. It stands out."

Jimin nodded. "I don't mind being the center of attention."

Jungkook laughed. "Well, we're different there."

"Oh? Well, that's alright. After all, if more than one person spoke to you I'm not so sure you'd be able to become more red."

Jungkook couldn't help but blush again. "I'm...I'm not good...one on one exactly..." he played with his hands.

Jimin eyed him. "Are you good with a lot of people?"

"U-um...I'm good...at performing? But not so much...with people. Sorry."

"There's no need to apologize. You being here at all is all I need." Jimin sat down on the grass, watching Jungkook sit next to him from the corner of his eye. They both stared at the sky. "It's lovely, isn't it?"

"It is. It really is."

Jimin looked over at him, seeing his eyes slowly close and become unresponsive again.

"Oh. G...goodbye..." Jimin sighed heavily.

At least Jungkook had made him feel better.

When he woke up the next day, he felt his stomach ease. His dream was nicer...though, all he could remember was stars. Stars and stars and stars.

He felt happier right then and there than he had for the last month.

It was also that night that Jimin decided to peruse Jungkook.

For when he fell asleep, he could remember his other dreams. He could remember his daily life along with his dream. It was only when he was awake, would he forget his dreams.

When he woke up in the dream, Jungkook was sitting up, in that daze that Jimin had grown so used to.

"I wonder if you'll sleep tonight." Jimin spoke quietly to himself before getting up and going for a walk. It seemed that Jungkook was busy, so Jimin tried to clear his mind, this time being productive.

What were the next steps? Well, practice more. Do a little more research for the next audition, learn about the people there, figure out how-

"Hello?" Jungkook's soft voice made Jimin turn around.

It turned out Jimin was just pacing in a circle, not going too far like he'd thought he had. "Oh! Jungkook. Sleeping already?"

"I..." Jungkook looked confused, tilting his head. Perhaps he was.

"I'm Park Jimin." Jimin smiled. "Last night, you dreamed me too, right?"

Jungkook nodded cautiously.

"Don't worry, I'm not a bad omen. I'm just a guy like you." Jimin shrugged. "Besides, the sky's beautiful tonight and it's best to share it with someone."

"It...is quite nice." Jungkook seemed to ease a little, but maybe was still cautious at Jimin knowing his name.

"Well, then let's enjoy it." Jimin sat down, looking at the sky. Jungkook slowly sat down as well, Jimin giving him a glance. "Your eyes reflect the sky. The stars in the sky are almost as beautiful as the ones in your eyes."

Jungkook audibly swallowed his spit. "I-oh." His voice was quiet.

"They're so nice."

"T-thank you. I'm...I don't get compliments so often...especially not about my eyes."

"Why not? They're lovely." Jimin looked at Jungkook. He saw his red cheeks, his eyes glued to his hands. He was playing with the ends of his sweater.

"I'm...well, as you can tell, I'm shy. So I don't stand out much so people don't find things to compliment me on."

"Well, I love your eyes, and your voice is so nice to listen to. I really like your style too. And so far, you've been effortlessly cute and kind."

"C-cute?" Jungkook kept playing with his sweater, Jimin able to see his blush reach his ears.

"Mhm." Jimin nodded. "That's what stood out to you?"

"W-well, I'm not- I'm sorry- I'm just- well, you see..." Jungkook stumbled on his words, making himself even more embarrassed. "Sorry, I'm making a fool of myself." Jungkook turned his head away from Jimin.

Jimin gave a small laugh. "That's cute though!"

"H-hey um-" Jungkook turned to him, cheeks red. "Are you...a safe space?"

"Hm?"

"I noticed...your safety pin." Jungkook looked away again after speaking.

"Oh! Yeah. I am. For anyone." Jimin smiled, playing with his earring. He'd forgotten about that. He'd been wearing it for so long he'd forgotten he still had it in. He liked to either put a safety pin on his sweaters, or wear one as an earring if he went out. Anything, really. He must've worn it to sleep on accident.

"That's...that's really cool."

Jimin felt his chest feel weird again. "Is there a reason you think it's cool?"

"Well...you're helping p-people. Feeling safe with a stranger isn't typical, but you can g-give people peace with something as simple as that."

"I like spreading peace and happiness. Any bit will do. And besides, I need it too."

"Why...why might that be?"

"Hm? Oh well, I like guys." Jimin shrugged. "So sometimes I need a little happiness in my day."

"I! That's- that's really..." Jungkook smiled to himself, still looking away. "That's really cool."

Jimin smiled too, still looking at Jungkook. "And why might you think that's cool?" Jimin prodded him on.

"Oh." Jungkook slowly looked at Jimin. "Well..." he opened his mouth, but his eyes shut, then his mouth closed. He became unresponsive once again.

"Damn it." Jimin sighed.

It was finally the third night, that Jimin seemed to be getting to him.

He was in the field, the sky that brilliant blue and pink, and walked off again. It was always nice to get this freedom.

He'd decided it was about time Jungkook might wake up, so he came back to the spot. Sure enough, Jungkook was laying down, arms behind his head, so Jimin knew he was awake.

He walked over. "Hey. Mind if I lay next to you?"

"Not at all. It's got the best view."

Jimin laid next to him. "I'm Park Jimin. Does that ring a bell?"

"You...told me that last time. I'm Jeon Jungkook."

____

Jungkook felt odd. When he used to wake up feeling at ease, he now felt longing. He was hugging his pillow again, and he sat up. What was happening in his dreams? And why couldn't he remember?" Why did he want to remember?

There was something he was missing.

It was closing in on September now, and Jungkook was getting ready to audition.

He was meeting with Namjoon quite regularly too. Jin and Namjoon would go out, Jungkook running the cafe alone for a couple hours, then they would come back and Namjoon and Jungkook would sit down and write, sing, and talk about the auditioning.

And now...things were different. At least, something had changed. Jungkook went to bed early that day, and Jimin was already there.

"Jungkook! Thank god. I need to tell you something." Jimin exhaled. "I've been feeling weird lately. Something in my chest." Jimin seemed nervous.

They were back at the field, the sky a pleasant blue and pink. Jungkook sat next to Jimin. "What's wrong?"

"I've been getting this feeling that...that I'm fading from these dreams. More and more every night, I feel weird." Jimin started to breathe quickly. "And I don't know what that means, but if I don't see you again, I need you to know I'll find you and I'm sorry for not being able to find you sooner." Jimin quickly wiped his eyes.

"Jimin..." Jungkook silently took Jimin's hand, bringing it to his lips and slowly kissing it. "You don't have to apologize. We can't remember when we wake up, you shouldn't feel responsible for anything. This is out of our control." Jungkook kissed his hand again. "Okay? Now what do you mean you think you're...fading..." Jungkook felt concerned.

"I...I feel it in my chest. That I'm not...not gunna be here next time. I don't know why, but I feel it." Jimin wiped his eyes again.

"Jimin..." Jungkook turned to him completely, letting go of his hand to hold his cheeks. "We'll be okay. I know I'll miss you too, but...at least we had some time together." Jungkook wiped Jimin's tears. "You...don't need to cry about it." Jungkook didn't want to cry. He didn't want Jimin to go. He'd gotten so used to it, to being around him, to learning about him.

"Then we'll just have to meet for good." Jimin nodded, pursing his lips. He was trying to hide the tremble in his lip.

"Jimin." Jungkook kissed him. "We'll be okay. Alright? We'll be fine."

Jimin nodded. "I'll find you. Okay? I promise I'll find you. And I don't want to go away, but I know I am. I was...it feels like I've expired. Like...like I was here first so I'm leaving first. You know?"

Jungkook shook his head. "Then let's enjoy now. Right?"

"Right." Jimin smiled softly. "Let's enjoy now."

"And who knows...maybe you'll expire later." Jungkook scrunched his nose, smiling. He wanted to ease the air, wanted Jimin to feel better. He couldn't stand him being sad.

Jimin nodded again. "Maybe." Jimin moved forward, Jungkook letting go of his cheeks. Jimin pushed his face into Jungkook's chest, hugging him tight. Jungkook hugged him back, rubbing his back.

They stayed like that, holding on to each other.

When Jungkook woke up, he felt that longing again. And he simply knew something was off.

Even Seokjin and Namjoon could tell. When he got to work, he was tired and sluggish.

"Did you not sleep last night? You look like a mess." Jin immediately chirped, giving Jungkook a concerned, but teasing look.

"I'm...I had a weird dream, and it left a weird taste in my mouth. It just hasn't gone away." Jungkook got behind the counter, getting his rag to clean the tables.

"Ah, no no, it's fine I'll do it." Jin took the rag from him. "Make yourself a drink."

"It's okay, I can still work."

"Clean this counter then. Make yourself a drink, hyung can take care of the busy work." Jin tsk'd, getting the rag wet and going to clean.

Jungkook gave a small sigh. He didn't want Jin to work harder because of his slacking off.

He was able to greet customers fine, but he messed up an order. When Namjoon came in, he seemed to notice Jungkook was out of it too. "You alright there Jungkook? Have you been working too hard on your music?"

"No..." Jungkook looked down. Jin was obviously looking at Jungkook. "I didn't sleep well."

"Oh. That's usually the highlight of your day." Namjoon gave a small frown. "You doing okay?"

Jungkook pursed his lips for a while. He hated worrying his hyungs. "I feel...weird. Like I lost something. Or someone close to me. There's- there's just this feeling in my chest that's off." Jungkook tried to explain it. "I dunno. But somethings off."

Namjoon nodded. "Maybe your dreams are telling you something? They could be...well, hypothetically speaking, they could be like fortune telling? Or deja vu? Maybe you lost something or someone in your dream."

Jungkook nodded. "Maybe. I really couldn't tell you...I don't remember them."

"Well...people only don't remember their dreams if they don't sleep well, or if they don't reach the rem stage of sleep. Which means, you're sleeping badly." Jin shook his head with a small tsk. "You need to sleep more."

"Maybe..." Jungkook sighed. "I didn't mean to seem so out of it. You two can head out if you'd like, I'll be fine here."

"No, I think we should stay. You might doze off. Actually, you should head out. Head home and get some rest." Jin nodded.

"I've still got a couple more hours of my shift hyung-"

"Go home. Take the day." Jin smiled. "For homework of course." He raised an eyebrow.

Jungkook smiled, but shook his head. "I shouldn't leave it all to you."

"I'll handle it. Besides, I'm sure Namjoon is more than willing to help."

"He'll drop the first plate he touches." Jungkook jabbed at him playfully. "Let me stay hyung."

"Nope, I've decided. You need a good nap, and I'm betting you have some homework to finish."

"I should just drop out." Jungkook groaned, but started packing his one bag he brings. There was never changing Jin's mind after he'd decided on something. "I'm not going to focus on school ever. I can't believe you convinced me to even go to college. You saw how much I hated high school." Jungkook whined about it.

"You didn't have a plan yet. Besides, getting some higher education is beneficial in every way." Jin shrugged.

Jungkook sighed. "You're right. But still, I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with this." Jungkook sighed again, this time bigger. "Well...I guess I'll go home and sleep. I...thank you hyung. But next time I promise I'll do better."

Jin shook his head. "No need Jungkook. But tonight help me with dinner, you were asleep by the time I got home yesterday."

Jungkook nodded, bowed to Namjoon, then headed out. He wasn't quite sure what to do. He wanted to sleep, but he couldn't stand another night like the previous one. He wanted to do something progressive, but he simply couldn't keep his head on straight. He felt so unfocused, yet...well, he could probably make some more music.

So he got home, getting to work on his latest idea. He had a couple weeks to perfect it before he would have to focus on his already more popular song. If he was going to audition, he might as well go with one he'd already had done and ready.

He didn't realize the time passing until Jin came home. Jungkook quickly cleaned his space, rubbing his eyes, and headed out, so Jin wouldn't know he ignored his suggestion to sleep.

"Ah, Jungkook, ready to start dinner?"

"Yes. How was your day with Namjoon hyung?" Jungkook went to the kitchen with Jin, the two washing their hands and starting whatever Jin wanted to make.

"It was nice, as usual. He's...really excited for you." Jin smiled, glancing at Jungkook. "He's sort of adopted you."

Jungkook blushed, happy, excited, and embarrassed all at the same time. "I-I can't believe- wow, that's so...amazing. Who would've ever imagined that I- that me, me..." Jungkook happily sighed. "I would've never been able to guess I'd be here."

"Well, aren't you glad." Jin laughed. "He wants to come over for dinner one of these days. Would you mind?"

"As long as he doesn't come into my room, there shouldn't be a problem." Jungkook pouted. "I'd hate for him to see my mediocre set up."

"Jungkook...you know he doesn't care."

"If I become a trainee...would I move into their building?" Jungkook finally thought about it. Things were finally settling in his mind.

"You can always request to stay somewhere else. Especially if you're solo." Jin tried to help him calm down. "Who thought you'd ever want to stay with me, hm?"

"Hyung." Jungkook rolled his eyes. "You know I like it here."

"I know Jungkookie." Jin smiled. "Now come on, help me out."

Jungkook couldn't sleep. He didn't know why. He just. Couldn't. Sleep.

He'd done all he could think of to pass the time, except do his homework, but he really didn't know what to do. He was just lying awake, unable to close his eyes, and thinking. Thinking about nothing and everything, and he was just so awake.

He sat up, gripping his hair. He sighed, then got up, going over to his piano. He ran his hand over it...then picked up his guitar instead, sitting on his bed with it. He played some notes, closing his eyes and letting his fingers roam, trying to find a melody he liked.

He found some tabs he liked, getting his phone out and recording it. He kept playing it over and over, and something went through him, almost like a spark, and he started singing.

It sounded nice and calm, and Jungkook liked it. He liked it a lot. It felt right. At least, the words did. He sang what he wanted, then stopped his recording. He then recorded the separate parts, the chorus, then how he wanted the verses to sound.

He didn't know where it came from, but it felt...right. It felt real, and right, and loving. There's was something that kept him happy, something he wasn't quite sure what it was, but this song, yeah, was for him.

For him! For who- who was he? Oh god, did he finally get the courage to find a guy he liked? Jungkook smiled, thinking about the words he put together for this mysterious person he'd fallen for.

Whoever he was...he was certainly bringing him euphoria.

He started recording immediately, inspired. He usually showed his YouTube followers his process.

Jungkook met with Namjoon and Yoongi at their little shop after Jin had gone out with them.

"So...the auditions are tomorrow." Namjoon spoke quietly as Jungkook drank his drink aggressively. There was a line starting behind them.

"Yeah." Jungkook felt himself get anxious.

"Do you have a plan?" Yoongi asked kindly.

Jungkook nodded, feeling queasy.

"Hey...it'll be okay. You'll do amazing." Namjoon smiled, easing Jungkook a little.

He nodded.

"We um...saw your latest video. I want to work on that song with you." Yoongi lowered his voice. "I'm happy you kept it so gender neutral, that's really cool-"

Jungkook blushed and stood up rather abruptly. "I need to help my hyung." He went over to Jin, getting his little apron back on and looking at the orders. The line had gotten a tiny bit longer.

"Hey, nice of you to show up." Seokjin smiled, handing Jungkook the orders he wrote down. "Did they let you take a break?"

Jungkook nodded, keeping relatively quiet. "We've got more to discuss but I couldn't let you do all this alone. It's so much."

"Thank you Kookie." Jungkook smiled and nodded, but he saw the glance that Jin took at Namjoon and Yoongi.

He kept doing his job though, calling drinks out after he'd finish them, then taking more that Jin had written down. Finally, Jin helped him with the last couple ones, and the customers were done, some sticking around to drink and eat in the shop, others leaving.

Jin gave him a look, Jungkook unable to keep eye contact with him. He called out to the two producers. "Give us a second, we need to restock." Jin laughed a tiny bit, then dragged Jungkook to the back room.

Jungkook poked around at their extra cookies. "So um..."

"What happened? The energy became stale, so tell me what happened." Seokjin spoke quietly.

"It's nothing, I just wasn't ready for something they brought up." Jungkook spoke quickly. "It's really nothing, I'll go back to them now, don't worry."

"Jungkook. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine." Jungkook anxiously played with his sweater sleeves, then scratched the back of his head, starting to tap his foot. "I'm just-"

"Jungkook. Me and Namjoon are dating. You know they're good people to be with." Jin reassured him. "It's okay to talk about it with them."

Jungkook shook his head. "I can't hyung. I'm just not confident in myself yet. I'm just not...I can't...have that conversation with them yet. They'll make me feel okay, and I just can't handle that right now." Jungkook sighed.

"Jungkook..." Jin exhaled. "Take two cookies to them. Thank you for helping me out."

Jungkook nodded, taking them. "Thank you."

Jungkook went back to Namjoon and Yoongi. "Sorry about that, but Jin hyung was in a tight spot. Here's my compensation." Jungkook gave them each a plate with a cookie on it. "Jin hyung made them himself."

"Thank you Jungkook." Yoongi smiled softly, Jungkook nodded.

"Hopefully it's enough of a sorry." Jungkook nodded his head, yet again. "But well, I did think, and I have a good idea of what I'll do tomorrow. I already have a song ready. I've performed it enough times to be comfortable with it. And I'm certain with my ability to perform." Jungkook exhaled to calm himself.

"I'm glad you have a good plan. I'm positive it'll go well. I'll be a judge for some of them, so I hope...I'll give you some ease." Yoongi gave him a small smile. "Okay?"

Jungkook nodded. "Okay." He drank more of the drink he left. "I'll try."

"Ah, give me a second, Jin is calling me over." Namjoon smiled apologetically and got up. "Talk over the song you'll do." When he left, the introverted silence settled in.

Jungkook drank more of his drink, Yoongi poking at the cookie on his plate.

Jungkook bit his bottom lip, gnawing on it, trying to gain the courage to say anything.

Yoongi spoke first. "Sorry if I brought up a shaky topic. I didn't know. Maybe Namjoon did, but I didn't, so I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable. But...that's...how I became friends with Namjoon. We were both music oriented, but he was...completely okay with my boy crushes. Which is kind of a first, but you know, I'm hoping for a brighter future."

Jungkook blushed, but nodded.

Yoongi looked at him with a smile. "And I have hope in that future with you."

"Oh." Jungkook felt his chest ease up. He could tell Yoongi was struggling to put words together, but Jungkook was also not helping much. "I...I hope I can be...I hope I can be that change. I'm...not...proud of myself." Jungkook looked down. "But I also...hate lying to myself."

"It's a rough road, when you aren't given the freedom to be."

"I just wish my songs could reach who they need to. And I want them to be able to be interpreted for boys and girls." Jungkook exhaled, finally getting it out.

"Or any gender." Yoongi smiled. "For everyone, right?"

"Right." Jungkook smiled back. "I write for everyone."

"Then...who's your latest one about? It seemed more personal this time, if I'm not wrong." Yoongi scooted his chair closer. He was intensely interested, making Jungkook blush more.

"I- I'm not- I'm not really sure, actually." Jungkook felt embarrassed. "It came to me on a night I couldn't sleep but it- it feels like it's about someone I know, but I don't know who. Which is...slightly concerning."

"I'd love for me and Namjoon to help work on it with you." Yoongi grinned. "So I need you to get in. I've gotta implement as many good apples into our place as I can before I'm found out. Or until I become too big to get rid of." He laughed a little.

"You will be. Knowing how popular your songs are now. Both of you. Namjoon hyung has been so kind and helpful already." Jungkook smiled and looked down. "I'm very grateful to you both, but I feel like...it's nearly cheating in a way."

"You still gotta perform well. I'll say that much."

"I think I'll be able to do it. Especially if you have faith in me."

"I do. Sadly Namjoon won't be a judge, I think he'd have fun, but I'm higher up than him." Yoongi slightly jabbed. "It's only cause I've been here longer."

"I'm such a nobody. To be around you two is...really something." Jungkook held his drink in his hands, sipping quietly.

"You'll get there." Yoongi put a hand on his shoulder. "I know it."

"G-gosh, thank- thank you." Jungkook blushed more, gripping his drink tighter.

"No problem. Now I'm certain you'd love to get back to work. I've gotta head back. Peel Namjoon away from Jin hyung for me, would you?"

"Sure thing. Thank you again Yoongi hyung. For everything." Jungkook stood and bowed. "I hope I can be everything you want me to."

"I want you to be proud of yourself. I hope you make yourself proud tomorrow."

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up again as he turned tail and walked back behind the counter. Jin was casually flirting with Namjoon, Jungkook feeling embarrassed by watching.

"Y-Yoongi hyung said he's ready to g-go now."

"Ah, it's the time already." Namjoon gave a smile. "Thank you Jungkook. I hope he gave you some ease." Namjoon squeezed Jin's hand before heading off.

The two left, and Jin turned to Jungkook. "So? He seemed to be kind about it, no?"

Jungkook smiled. "Yeah. I think I'm looking forward to working with him."

"Ah, I see. Did you bribe him to make sure you get in? Is that why you're so confident?" Jin teased him.

"Hyung!" Jungkook widened his eyes at him. "You know I don't have enough money for that. He's expensive."

Jimin finally met up with Taehyung. His best friend had been so busy with his upcoming drama that they hadn't had time together, but Jimin was just about done resting and so he invited Taehyung to eat out with him.

He was waiting for Taehyung to arrive, patiently drinking the water placed for him.

When Taehyung finally got there, Jimin felt himself ease. The familiar face was comforting, no matter how intimidating he looked while he searched for Jimin. He watched Taehyung's eyes light up and smile once he met Jimin's eyes. "Jimin!" He happily went over, his previous intimidating atmosphere becoming soft and happy once he got to Jimin, the two hugging.

"Taehyung! I'm so happy you could make it. I haven't seen you in so long."

"It's been a couple months." Taehyung sat across from him, the two ordering their food and drinks.

"How've you been?"

"You've seen it all." Taehyung grinned. "I'm as busy as a bee. Adding on learning new things for the role, I'm stacked beyond compare. I've been sending you pictures though. How's your recovery going?" Taehyung gave a small look over Jimin's face.

Jimin simply smiled. "It's good. I'm feeling good, but I need to stretch a bit before tomorrow. I've finally got the audition times so...I'm hoping I'll get it." Jimin exhaled slowly.

Taehyung exhaled air through his nose, a small laugh of disbelief. "What's actually going on?"

"Ah." Jimin smiled in slight embarrassment. "Well...I'm just at a loss. My chest feels tight from...loss. Not anxiety. I'm not anxious about tomorrow. I'm feeling...sad." Jimin sighed. "I don't know why though. I feel like I lost someone." Jimin tried to explain it. "But I don't know who."

"Oh...that's...huh." Taehyung thought about it. "That's so interesting, but it must suck. Did you fall in love with a stranger? Or maybe you really found someone. But you don't remember...hm. He or she? Or they?" Taehyung questioned him. "Do you know who they are?"

"Ah...I'm pretty sure he's a guy. But I don't really know. I can't seem to remember. All I'm left with is this- this weird feeling in my chest."

"Right. Well...I hope this meal will be sufficient, and then I hope you're willing to dye our hair together."

Jimin perked up at that. "For real?"

"I've gotta redo my roots and you can have the rest."

"Ooo, alright. I'm down. Same color though?" Jimin pouted. He kinda liked his pink.

"You're fine with it, right? It's a tad bit boring, but we can have fun next time. They'd kill me if I changed my hair to something colorful suddenly." Taehyung whined. "Blond is fine, no?"

"Yeah, it'll be fine. It'll probably take on my pink." Jimin ran a hand through his hair. "It would probably be smart to look a tad bit more professional for my audition."

"Well, hopefully it's a later audition cause I wanna stay up with you tonight." Taehyung grinned.

The two had a nice meal, then went to the closest convenience store before heading to Jimin's apartment.

They sat in the bathroom. Jimin put hair dye on Taehyung's roots. "So...tell me about your time there. I know you send me pictures, but I'm really hoping you're having fun."

"I'm having the time of my life." Taehyung smiled. "I'm just really busy. But I get to act and well...it's rewarding. I get to be comfortable. But you on the other hand...tell me the last time you were comfortable."

"In my dreams." Jimin spoke immediately, the words popping out of his mouth.

"Oh?" Taehyung was surprised at his quick answer.

"I...yeah?" Jimin was trying to remember things. "I...I can't remember. But I know that. I know that there was someone in my dreams that was making me...feel peace."

"Huh." Taehyung nodded, the two switching places. Jimin felt the cold hair dye on his head. "Like those dreams you would try and tell me about? Those still happening?"

"I...not for a while I don't think..." Jimin hummed. "It's been a couple weeks. All I've kept feeling is just...longing I think." Jimin took a deep breath, then sighed. "But I need to not think about it for tomorrow. Right?"

"I think you'll be fine. You'll be perfectly fine." Taehyung finished Jimin's hair and the two moved to the living room.

"You think so?"

"I know so. And if you don't, I'm going to find every single person who doesn't appreciate you and make them take you in." Taehyung shook his head. "You're the best dancer I know. Period. You can master every kind, and you're creative and a good teacher. You're perfect for the job."

Jimin smiled wide. "Thanks Tae."

The two did stay up most of the night, and Jimin did have to say...he liked the blonde on him. It was much lighter than Taehyung's, but it felt...good to have a change.

Jungkook anxiously finished his audition, holding on tight to his guitar in the waiting room. There were plenty of other kids here, but Jungkook felt old. He was only around 1 year older, and there were some other older guys, but he felt like he stuck out. Not quite babyish, not quite matured.

But what he really was was anxious. The waiting room was filled with quiet chatter, but Jungkook felt sick to his stomach. He was waiting for his bus to arrive, since Seokjin had the car today, and he just really really wanted to get out of here.

If anything...Yoongi had made him more nervous than usual. The want to do good in front of him made him anxious, but he thought he did well. If Namjoon had been there, he probably could've done better.

He checked the time and decided it would be better to wait for the bus at the station than in here, knowing those who already went were leaving too. A small group of four walked together, mostly silent except for a couple of them.

"Gosh, I'll never get over Min Yoongi's sharp eyes. Seems like he can hear every misstep."

"Ahhh, don't remind me. I didn't mess up, but he made me question myself. Until he said I did well at the end, but still." The two continued to chatter and Jungkook and another musician stood behind them, the four standing at the bus station. They had about five more minutes.

"...what about you?" The kid beside Jungkook spoke quietly to him, and Jungkook had to admit it was an act of bravery. The two in front of them were talkative and charismatic, but the kid beside him was much like himself.

Jungkook gave him a smile. "I was really nervous, but I know Yoongi hyung is kind in his heart. I'm sure everyone did their best." Jungkook wished he had something to hold, but his guitar was swung on his back and he didn't wear sleeves.

The two in front of them whipped their heads to Jungkook. "You know him?!"

"A-ah!" Jungkook put his hands up, then ran a hand through his hair, slightly embarrassed. "He went to my job once...and he told me to audition after I told him how much I appreciated his work." Jungkook lied, but smiled.

The two in front whined, going back to talking to themselves. "How lucky!"

"You mean unfair!"

The kid beside him simply smiled up at Jungkook. "You appreciate his work too?"

Jungkook looked down at him and nodded. He finally understood what Yoongi meant.

If just one person gets it...if just one person is helped...then it's worth it. And if Jungkook could be that change that shifts how people view things, then yes, he wanted that. "I do. His work has helped me out profusely in how I present myself."

"Ah! Me too." He smiled to himself. "It's nice...to be included." Jungkook looked at the kids jean jacket, seeing a safety pin.

Safety pin huh...that sounded familiar.

"By the way, what's your name?" Jungkook wondered if this kid was the person in his dreams. A safety pin was definitely something that got him thinking.

"Ah, it's Yeonjun. Choi Yeonjun. I'm really happy to know that there's someone else who knows what it's like."

Jungkook nodded. "I'm Jeon Jungkook. Hopefully...you'll hear more from me."

"No way! I think...I've heard some of your songs before." He smiled.

"Ah, don't- don't think about it." Jungkook nervously laughed.

"Well hyung, I hope I hear more from you too." He grinned wider. "And hopefully we get to see each other more too."

Jungkook nodded, and the bus arrived. The four got on, sitting in different places. Jungkook stood. Yeonjun wasn't him. He definitely wasn't the guy Jungkook had met in his dreams. But he learned another thing. Safety pin.

Jungkook looked out the window, holding onto the bar, seeing the next round of auditions happen, most likely for choreographers. The bus was moving slowly, but gained speed. He saw a blond in the group turn to the sound of the bus, and something in Jungkook lurched. His chest tightened and his throat closed up.

The blond didn't notice him, but oh god did Jungkook notice him.

Jungkook felt the bus stop for traffic, and he watched the blond turn towards the bus. Had he noticed him? Fuck, even if he did, then what? He was just a pretty boy that Jungkook immediately wanted to fall in love with, that wasn't uncommon.

But Jungkook watched the blond lock eyes with him, and Jungkook knew. That was him. That blond was his cotton candy, that man was...was...he couldn't remember. Cotton candy. Cotton candy and safety pins. He felt the bus lurch, and he was off, the two staring at each other all the way until Jungkook couldn't see him anymore.

____

Jungkook laid pitifully on his bed, his hyung busy at work. He didn't feel like eating, the anxiety in his stomach was filling him up enough. He didn't feel like sleeping. He didn't want to wake up knowing he didn't meet the person in his dreams.

It was a curse, it seemed. To be so close yet moving away. He knew that blond was him. He knew that blond was exactly the person he was searching for yet, he wasn't able to meet him. And how would he find him? He was at least in the area. But...well, there was no real way to find him except stand in front of the building in hopes that he would have the same idea.

And Jungkook didn't have time to stand in front of a building all day. He barely had time to audition, getting the day off from Jin.

But if they both ended up at the same place, then he was bound to meet him!

But that...was assuming they both made it.

Jungkook laid in bed pitifully, dozing off after some time thinking.

He woke up on a dock, his feet hanging off the edge. The water hit the dock slowly, rhythmically, and Jungkook looked up at the sky to see that brilliant pink and blue cotton candy sky.

"Jungkook!" Jungkook turned his head to Jimin, who was running down the dock at him. He quickly stood up, and Jimin jumped into his arms, making him lose his balance and fall back into the water.

Jungkook didn't feel fear from being in the water, instead, he felt calm. The water welcomed them. He could breathe and open his eyes without a problem, and when he did, he saw Jimin experiencing the same.

Jimin's hair was floating around him, and Jungkook couldn't help but bring him close to kiss him. The bioluminescence around them glowed a brilliantly bright blue, and when Jungkook pulled away, he found Jimin's eyes staring at him. "Jimin...I'm so happy you're here again."

"Jungkook..." Jimin's eyes started to water. "I missed you."

"I missed you too Jimin." Jungkook kissed Jimin's forehead. "I'm sorry..." he couldn't bare to finish his sentence.

"Why are you apologizing? Jungkookie, we're here again. That's all that matters."

"I could've stopped the bus. I could've done something." Jungkook slowly put his head on Jimin's shoulder. "I could've done something."

"Jungkook, it's okay." Jimin rubbed his back. "It means we're closer together. Besides, I look different now too."

"But I could've-"

"Jungkook." Jimin cut him off. "It's okay. We're here now, aren't we?" He smiled softly, and Jungkook nodded.

"Yeah. We are." Jungkook smiled back at him.

As they decided to make their way back to the beach, Jungkook thought for a moment. They'd been away from each other for maybe a week or two, but by god did it feel longer. He'd nearly forgotten about him.

When they got to the sand, they were dry, so they sat down. "I hope we make it." Jimin broke the silence, leaning on Jungkook.

"I need us to. I don't want to go another day without knowing you." Jungkook sighed. "The pit in my stomach is growing."

"Me too." Jimin took his hand. "I don't wanna let you go."

"Then don't." Jungkook looked at him with wide, doe eyes. "Don't let me go."

Jimin smiled. "Then at least stay in my dreams."

Jungkook nodded. "Why are we back?"

"I saw you. I- I think we're seeing each other in our dreams when we see each other in person. I think- I can't really remember, but I think we met once before." Jimin saddened. "Or maybe more times."

"I...how many times do you know of?"

"I'm not sure. But maybe there will be more times. Are you sure...are you sure you're willing to wait for this?"

"Of course!" Jungkook moved closer to Jimin, their noses almost touching. "I- it's you."

Jimin smiled, closing the gap between their lips. Jungkook kissed him back, happily pushing Jimin onto the sand. Jimin patted Jungkook's shoulder, so Jungkook pulled away. "J-Jungkook..." Jimin was red.

"Yes?" Jungkook was unbothered. Kissing Jimin for long periods of time was nice.

"Sorry, I'm just...not used to it." He blushed more, Jungkook able to feel his heartbeat, their chests together.

"It's okay. I'm not either but...you're just really handsome and I like kissing you." Jungkook shrugged. "Is that okay?"

Jimin nodded. "That's- that's okay. I'm just not used to you being so forward."

"I miss you." Jungkook looked at him fondly. "And I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize." Jimin pulled Jungkook closer again, kissing him to ease him.

"I was just in shock. You dyed your hair and I- I wasn't sure and when I was sure you were- the bus was moving and I couldn't seem to move to stop the bus." Jungkook stumbled, feeling some guilt again.

"Do you like it?" Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook staring at him.

"Hm?"

"Do you like the color?"

"Yeah, yeah I do. It's nice." Jungkook smiled. "You always look good. You're either handsome or you're cute, there's no in between."

Jimin gasped, faking offense. "You never think I'm sexy? Or lovely? Only handsome or cute?"

Jungkook blushed. "W-well, I'm sure- I'm sure there's room to learn other sides of you."

"I hope so." Jimin had a different glint in his eyes, one that made Jungkook embarrassed to hold eye contact. "Aw~ why'd you become shy?"

"S-sorry." Jungkook stuttered, his confidence all but gone at this point. He looked away, but Jimin's hands softly grabbed his chin, making him look again.

"You don't need to apologize." Jimin's other hand snaked to his neck, playing with Jungkook's hair. "You're cute when you're embarrassed."

"Jimin..."

"Hm? You aren't used to it? But that's okay. I think you're cute." Jimin teased him, using his words against him.

Jungkook smiled a little, but his blush stayed. "I'm not used to it. I just...I'm unexplainably attracted to you." Jungkook gulped audibly, his heart pounding in his chest. He felt nervous once again when Jimin became confident, his smiling welcoming but not exactly...kind.

There was something else in it, something Jungkook didn't quite know. Yet, at least. "Well, aren't I lucky." Jimin pulled Jungkook closer. "I couldn't imagine you with anyone else. Hell, I'd fight them for you."

"Y-you would?"

"Of course! Look at you. You're too kind to turn someone down. I would make sure no one else touches you." Jimin grinned, again...with a glint of something else.

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up more. "W-what do you mean by that?"

"Mmmmm...like a repellent. You know...make sure other people know you're not available." Jimin moved into Jungkook's neck, kissing and nipping at his skin. "You know what I mean?"

"I- I don't? I don't- I don't think I know..." Jungkook felt weak.

"Mind if I show you?"

"Oh- oh, um...how- what will you do?" Jungkook blinked a lot, as Jimin slowly made them switch positions, Jungkook laying down and Jimin on top of him. Jimin sat on Jungkook's thighs, leaning down to kiss at his neck again, before slowly, slowly, taking in the skin, sucking on it to make a bruise.

Jimin kept at it, darkening it, licking over the spot, bitting down, and sucking on it. He heard Jungkook quietly go oh.

When he finally deemed the love bite sufficient, he pulled away. "Mm...what I wouldn't do to litter your entire chest in bites." Jimin hummed. "Maybe your thighs too...your back could be a good place too."

"J-Jimin..." Jungkook felt his blush go to his chest. It did feel good, he wouldn't lie, but he also wouldn't admit it. "M-my thighs?"

"Sure. They seem strong. I'd love to feel them shake." Jimin hummed, kissing at Jungkook's neck again.

"J-Jimin, let- let me kiss you." Jungkook gave a small whine. He felt embarrassed, but it was nice to have Jimin on top of him.

"No." Jimin moved to another spot on his neck, marking him up again. "I wanna leave more. Maybe they'll stay." Jimin attacked Jungkook's neck, his hands snaking up Jungkook's sweater.

"A-ah, Jimin- Jimin I want- I want to kiss you." Jungkook whined, Jimin's cold hands making him shiver while his love bites made him embarrassed.

"Lots of muscles, hm?" Jimin kept feeling under Jungkook's sweater, hands running up and down his chest and sides, like he wanted to memorize how he felt.

Jungkook was heating up. "I- yeah. My hyung takes me to the gym when he goes." He gulped. "J-Jimin, please-"

"Mmmm. But you're so cute like this. I didn't think you'd be a whiner." Jimin kept marking his neck, deliberately going slow. "You sound nice."

Jungkook sat up, taking Jimin's hands out of his sweater in embarrassment. Jimin didn't seem to budge from his neck, and his hands found somewhere else to roam: Jungkook's back instead. "I- Jimin..." Jungkook felt his bottom lip waver, so he bit down on it. "Jimin!" Jungkook shivered when Jimin's hands went down his back and inching past the waistband on his pants. "J-Jimin-"

"Hm?" Jimin moved his hands up Jungkook's back again and up in his sweater, tracing his spine, barely touching him, making Jungkook shiver yet again. "Something wrong?" Jimin kept kissing and biting at his neck, hands teasing him by never really touching him. He ran his fingers in circles, ghosting over Jungkook's skin.

"N-no I just- I just really want to kiss you- pl-please let me kiss you." Jungkook nearly pleaded, finally snapping out of it and putting his hands around Jimin's waist, pulling him closer. Jimin pulled away from his neck in surprise, looking at Jungkook. "Please Jimin. Let me kiss you." Jungkook gave him the most honest and pleading eyes he could give, and he watched Jimin smile slyly.

"Look at you." Jimin chuckled lowly. "Maybe I'll get to see you plead and beg for something more one day." Jimin nearly purred, but obliged, kissing Jungkook. His hands ran through Jungkook's hair, then scraped his nails against his scalp as softly as he could.

Jungkook felt only slightly overwhelmed by Jimin's touch, but he knew it could somehow become extremely overwhelming. Though how, he wasn't sure. He kissed back, his hands slowly itching up the back of Jimin's sweater. He wasn't being very careful anymore, licking into Jimin's mouth to try and get closer. He really just wanted to be closer, and he wasn't sure how.

He held Jimin close, until Jimin grabbed his hair and pulled his head back. "Jungkook." Jimin's voice was laced with...something...

"Y-yes? Yes Jimin?" Jungkook panted, eyeing Jimin's lips. He wanted them back on his own again.

"You're testing me." Jimin hummed, eyeing Jungkook.

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up at his stare. "W-what do you mean?" He gulped, feeling small under Jimin's gaze.

Jimin rose onto his knees so he was taller than Jungkook, his hand still tightly holding onto his hair. "I mean..." Jimin eyed Jungkook's lips, then moved closer. "That you're so honest, I can't help but want to see what it's like when you break. Can't help but imagine if you'd plead forever." He giggled, then kissed Jungkook.

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up yet again, his hands holding Jimin's waist, his neck tilting up to kiss him. He felt Jimin sit back onto his lap, this time putting pressure, making Jungkook jump. "J-Jimin!"

"Hm?" Jimin's eyes were half lidded, staring at Jungkook's lips.

"I-I'm- I don't think- I haven't done anything- Jimin." Jungkook held his waist in hopes he'd stop moving his hips. "I...I'm really embarrassed." Jungkook slowly put his head on Jimin's shoulder, feeling his cheeks burn. "You're really just too much. I can't...I'm..."

"Jungkookie~" Jimin chimed, rubbing Jungkook's back. "You're so cute. I can't imagine what it'll be like when I meet you for real." Jimin tsk'd. "You don't live alone, do you. Mmmmm..."

Jungkook shook his head. "No...no I'm...I live with my hyung."

"Ah, a shame." Jimin sighed. "I live alone though. For the time being."

Jungkook nodded, hugging Jimin closer. "That's nice."

Jimin chuckled, rubbing Jungkook's back in comfort. "You're not used to much, are you?" Jimin felt Jungkook shake his head again. "Cute. I hope you know I'm entirely serious about you. You know that, right?"

Jungkook nodded again. "I'd assume...you're the loyal type...and I am too. I really wanna find you. I- I did find you."

"Well maybe if you don't let go...I'll stay in your head." Jimin held him tighter too. "I just wish you'd be there when I wake up."

"One...one day. One day it'll happen. Right?" Jungkook ran his hands up Jimin's back, in an attempt to mirror his comfort.

"Right." Jimin put his head against Jungkook's, taking a deep breath and letting it out. "I'm going to wake up soon. I can feel it."

"Tell me how it feels. I don't think I've felt it much." Jungkook spoke quietly.

"It's tight. My chest is tight and I'm feeling like I'm...mmm, not quite here. You know how when you're barely awake, and you can hear noises in your room but you're still technically asleep? It's kind of like that. I'm here...but I'm becoming more and more conscious of being out there."

"Mmm...maybe I just go from awake to asleep. Cause I don't really feel that."

"Maybe." Jimin sighed. "One last kiss?"

Jungkook let him go so they could see each other. He cupped his cheek with one hand, giving Jimin a sweet kiss. Much kinder than anything else this night. "I...I'm s-"

"Don't apologize. Next time. Okay? We'll get it next time."

Jungkook nodded.

"Next time."

____

Jungkook anxiously tried to finish his finals, waiting for a call from the entertainment manager, and hoping he'd catch his bus.

He'd...been waiting for a week now. And he swore something had happened on his audition day...he'd met someone. But he couldn't quite remember. All he did remember was the feeling of warmth waking up this week, and hugging his pillow. Lots of pillow hugging this week.

He banged his head down on his desk. He couldn't focus at all. This final was his last one until break. And he couldn't focus on it. Maybe he could just fail it- no, no Jin and Namjoon would be disappointed.

He checked the time, seeing he had around half an hour to finish it and catch his bus...so he took a deep breath and let it out, putting his focus back onto his computer. He only had a couple more questions, no he didn't feel good about it, but yes he had to finish them.

It took him nearly the entire time to finish them. He quickly submitted it, getting a jacket and hurrying off to get to the bus station.

Now his list was work, and waiting for a call. He hoped his Christmas break would give him good gifts. He just wanted to know if he made it.

When he got to work, Jin gave him a hug. "Good job finishing strong! Take a treat." Jin shoved food at him, Jungkook taking it.

"O-oh thank you. I don't think I did well."

"Then hopefully you get a good call." Jin winked at him before going back to customers. Jungkook got his little apron on, and helped Seokjin.

His whole day felt...empty. There was still something he was missing. He must've been having dreams again, but he couldn't remember things. He was missing memories and he didn't know why. All he really knew was that there was someone in his dreams that he was missing and longing for.

When their shifts were over, Jungkook sulked while sitting at a cleaned table. He was watching the sky darken from a soft pink to a darker blue. He rested his chin on his hand. "Cotton...candy."

Jin came over to him. "You okay?" He got the keys out of his pocket. "Ready to go?"

Jungkook gave him a small look, then looked back at the sky. Night was settling in, and lights were being turned on. "Hyung...can we look at lights together?"

"You feeling down?" Jin frowned. "What's up?"

"Ah...I don't mean to worry you. I'm just feeling...a lot. I'm anxious to hear from Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung, and I'm feeling sad about...well, I'm not sure. Whoever I'm writing about...that's who I'm feeling sad about."

"Ah...that dream boy, hm? Well...he's making you happy. He's making you much happier. But you also seem to be missing him an awful lot."

Jungkook nodded, finally standing up. "I don't even know if he's real. Maybe he's just...in my dreams. I dunno. I feel like I know him, but I don't...know him yet."

Jin nodded, the two locking up the cafe and heading to Jin's car. "Well...hopefully seeing the Christmas lights will clear your mind."

"Hopefully. I just wish...I could feel at ease." Jungkook let out a small sign. "I'm just missing someone I haven't met yet."

"It'll be fine. Everything will line up eventually. The stars align for everyone at least once in their life."

"I'm 20. Who knows when that time will come." Jungkook looked out the window, looking at all the Christmas lights glimmering.

"Who knows. But if it keeps up, I'd assume soon."

Jungkook smiled a little. "I want to see him."

"And you will. Eventually at least."

Jungkook nodded. "Hyung, do you think I worry too much?"

"Yep." Jin answered quickly.

"Hyung!"

"You do! You've thought everything through and you're still worried. You've done your best so now you just have to wait. And that's that. I understand that you're anxious. I would be too. But you've done what you could." Jin glanced at him.

"Yeah...I just...if I don't get this audition...I don't know what I'll do. This is all my plans."

"Well, you could always just focus on making music anyways. You don't need a studio or a company to like you to make music. You've already got people. And now you've got Yoongi and Namjoonie. You'll be perfectly fine."

"...you think they'd help produce my music even if I don't make it into the company?" Jungkook pouted.

Jin chuckled. "Maybe. They're a little biased around you. Maybe you're just too cute."

"Hyung!" Jungkook blushed. "They would never be dishonest."

"Mmm, I'm not sure about that~" Jin chimed. "They've both told me how much they like and want you. Yoongi keeps saying how badly he wants to produce your music. Namjoon goes on and on about how he wishes he could be more help to you too. And they both said they almost commented on your videos."

"What?" Jungkook looked at Jin with wide eyes. "Really?"

Jin laughed. "They really don't tell you things. Well, they care a lot about you. You're like their child. I'm certain they're going to care for you no matter what."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm not...a baby. Why do I attract people who feel like they need to care about me?" Jungkook questioned.

"Mmmm...more like...you're charming in a way that makes people want to care for you. You do so much caring, we just want to care for you back." Jin smiled wider. "You seem to have attracted older people though. Are you into older guys?" He teased him, making Jungkook blush.

"H-hyung! I-" he felt his face heat up. Why did that sound right? "I wouldn't know! I've never dated before." He stared out the window, feeling embarrassed.

He'd made a written listen on his desk. It now included a fifth.

Dream list
1. Cotton candy
2. Stars
3. Safety pins
4. Longing. Probably a...relationship
5. Older man. How many years, I don't know

Jungkook felt embarrassed thinking about it. At least in his dreams he was confident in his sexuality. How or why, he didn't know. Maybe it was the person in the dreams with him that was confident so Jungkook felt relaxed. Or maybe it was some other reason. Either way, Jungkook was embarrassed. Whoever was in his dreams was an older guy.

Jin hummed happily. "Glad we're finding out more about your preferences. It's fun."

____

Jungkook felt anxious as he packed his bag.

"You really have to go home for Christmas?" Jin pouted. "I wish you'd be able to stay. Namjoonie is staying over for me."

"Make sure he stays out of my room." Jungkook narrowed his eyes. "It's cleaned, but I couldn't do much with the equipment. But mom called me and said I should come home so I can you know...I haven't seen them since last summer so it's been a lot longer than we're used to."

"It'll be fine. I'm glad you're going home to get some well deserved rest. And hopefully a good ol call." Jin gave him a wink.

"Ah. Don't remind me." Jungkook shivered in anxiety. "Well...I gotta get to the train..."

"Ah...alright. Let me drive you there. I can't see you off, but...I can at least take you there. Only one bag?" Jin grabbed the keys as Jungkook grabbed his bag.

"Yep." Jungkook smiled, the two heading to the car. The drive to the station was short, but there was something both weren't saying. Jungkook ignored the emotions he was feeling. "I left your present under the tree. Hopefully Namjoon hyung spoils you to the ends of the earth. And I hope you have a good Christmas and New Years. I promise I'll tell you if I get an audition call."

"You better. And you better have a good Christmas with your family, god knows they miss you." Jin got out of the car, Jungkook taking his one bag and getting out too.

"I'll...miss you too. We had Christmas together last year, but...I gotta go home. Thank you Jin hyung. Tell Namjoon hyung that I'll be busy working no matter what. I've got a song to finish." Jungkook grinned.

"Damn right you do." Jin smiled right back, then pulled him into a hug. "Do well, and have a good time. I'll see you when your break is over, okay? I'll pick you up then."

"Sure thing. Bye hyung." Jungkook gave a sadder smile.

"Bye Kookie." Jin huffed. "Your present is in your bag, I packed it when you weren't looking." Jin nodded and headed off, Jungkook laughing.

He got his ticket, and waiting for his train, patiently standing. The platform slowly started to fill with people, and Jungkook covered his head with his hoodie.

____

Jimin waited patiently for Taehyung's train to arrive. He'd just finished his shoot in Busan, just before the holidays, and Jimin felt so lucky that they could spend Christmas together. He was feeling excited to have Taehyung with him for longer than a day, and even more excited to watch his show with him.

He watched the train arrive, watching the people piling out.

____

Jungkook watched the people pile out, waiting patiently to go on. The trains were kind, so Jungkook wasn't nervous. He kept waiting, looking up and down the platform to see couples reunite, families hug, and friends greet each other. He exhaled deeply. He couldn't wait to go home.

He went on the train, heading to a spot not many often went to, and saw someone there. He was sleeping. Jungkook felt anxious, but carefully patted his shoulder. "Excuse me? The...the train stopped." Jungkook spoke quietly, the man stirring.

"Hm? Oh! Oh my bad, thank you so much." He stood and bowed, before looking out the window and waving. "Thank you! Happy holidays." He nodded to Jungkook, then headed off. Jungkook swore he looked familiar, even with coverings. Jungkook took his seat as more people started to come onto the train. As the final ones were coming on, Jungkook became lost in thought, ready for the train to start moving. It was a nice day; cold and perfect to be with family. Jungkook just wished-

Almost like a second instinct, Jungkook looked out the window where the other man had once looked, and he came into contact with...the blond from his dreams. Jungkook couldn't move for a second, before he felt his thigh muscles tighten, and finally move. He stood up, taking off his hood with wide eyes.

Jungkook tried to pass people, to get to the exit, to do anything to get to that blond. "Excuse me. Excuse me. Pardon- sorry, excuse me." Jungkook brushed past people standing, being careful but trying to be fast. Fuck, why'd he pick somewhere so far away from the fucking exit.

Jungkook could see the blond doing the same, trying to get past people to meet him at he closest exit.

No no no no no, Jungkook wasn't going to make it. He wasn't going to make it again and it was his fault. Why was he so far away? Why was he always so far away? Jungkook watched the doors close before he got there, but when he did, he saw the blond on the other side. Jungkook put his hand on the closed door, taking a much better look at him this time.

"I'm so sorry." Jungkook whispered, feeling utterly stupid. "I'm so sorry."

The blond put his hand on Jungkook's, glass being the only thing in between them. He was mouthing something, but Jungkook shook his head. He couldn't tell what he was saying.

The blond was pointing to himself, and saying something, but Jungkook shook his head again, mouthing a sorry once again.

The train lurched, and Jungkook felt his eyes water up again. The blond in front of him was beyond handsome, beyond attractive, and beyond this world. He didn't have any more time to take him in, as the train moved forward, slowly at first, then faster, until the blond was out of sight, once again.

____

"Damn it! Fuck!" Jimin cursed as the train moved, his tears threatening to fall.

Taehyung was barely with him, having had more trouble getting through the crowd of people. "Who was it?"

"That was him. That was the- the one from my dreams. That was him." Jimin felt his bottom lip tremble. "Fuck. Fuck. I missed him again." Jimin grabbed his hair in anger. "He's gunna feel terrible!"

"Well, what did he look like?" Taehyung put an arm around Jimin's shoulders, pulling him closer to comfort him. He moved them away from the platform, getting them away so Jimin wouldn't have self destructive thoughts.

"He- he has brown hair. He's taller than me, bigger, muscular. Black hoodie. Black pants. The cutest fucking smile in the whole goddamn world..." Jimin felt like shit.

"Oh fuck, that kid? He was the one who woke me up."

Jimin bit his lip, not wanting to cry. He nodded. "Great. I'm sure...you didn't catch his name by any chance?"

Taehyung shook his head. "I'm not huge on getting recognized. I'm tired so I wasn't- I mean, I didn't know so-"

"It's okay. I was just being hopeful. I don't think he got my name. I didn't want to yell but...but maybe I should've. Who would've cared?"

____

Jungkook felt like shit. He'd sulked back to his seat, hating the eyes on him, but feeling happy when people got off at their stops. He wished he could've done something. But at least this time he'd tried. At least that.

What was he trying to tell Jungkook? What were the words on his lips? He started to doze off, his eyes closing, head slowly falling, but he woke himself back up in a snap. He didn't want to sleep. He didn't want to miss his stop, even though his was the last one.

Maybe he just didn't want to dream again. After all, he didn't know if he'd seen him.

Him.

P...pa...

Jungkook started to doze off again.

Park...

Park Jimin.

Jungkook opened his eyes, seeing himself in his dream land. "Fuck." He wasn't going to remember his name when he woke up.

____

Jungkook laid in bed. It'd been a week at home, and he was getting used to being over fed and pampered. He'd been having dreams again. And his list included more things now.

6. Blond
7. Shorter
8. Rings on his fingers

Jungkook sighed. He knew so much but not enough. He couldn't even confidently say his name.

It started with a P. But he didn't have anything else.

That's all he could get from him mouthing his name. Jungkook was just too teary to understand it all.

It was his fault. But at least this time he was remembering. All he needed to do was have it written down and he'd remember it better. He could imagine him, but...he didn't have anything else. His name, his number, he had no way to actually get to him. He didn't know where he worked, lived, or anything.

He laid on his bed, unable to sleep.

____

Jimin cried when he got the call from the entertainment company. Taehyung was with him, and then he immediately called Hoseok.

"Jimin I'm so happy for you! I knew you'd get it! You're like, the best fucking dancer I've ever seen." Taehyung hugged him, while Hoseok was yelling through the phone.

"Thank fucking god! I knew you'd make it, now we've got this! We're gunna do so well!" Hoseok was happy, as he'd also gotten the same call. "I'm coming over to celebrate with you!"

"Ah! Hyung, you really don't have to-"

"I'm coming over!" Hoseok hung up, making Taehyung and Jimin laugh.

"Well, I'm having a nice Christmas." Jimin wiped his eyes and smiled. "I'm having an amazing Christmas." Jimin hugged Taehyung again, this time tighter. "Thanks for being here."

"Thanks for picking me up. Wish I could've gotten that kids name for you." Taehyung huffed. "That would've been a good Christmas present."

"Aish, stop calling him a kid, you'll make me worry he's a minor." Jimin blushed. "Sure he looked young, but I don't think he's a minor." Jimin felt slightly guilty. "Right?"

"Hopefully he's not a kid traveling on his own for that long. He could be traveling all the way to Busan alone for all we know."

"That would be some sort of coincidence, wouldn't it." Jimin sighed. "Imagine both of us being from Busan. If we live close I'm going to riot."

"Maybe you should've gone home for Christmas." Taehyung teased him. "Lord knows I missed your mother's cooking."

"Ah, but you were just there, I wouldn't want to keep you in the area after your shooting." Jimin sighed. "Mom would've loved it too."

"Hey, I was just joking. Besides. You can pretty much get to work now. You've healed well, and now you can make choreography with Hoseok hyung! There's nothing better than that."

"Yeah. I'm gunna be busy now."

"Yeah you are. We both are."

A knock on the door made them jump, and as they walked to it, they could hear Hoseok from the other side. "Good job Jiminie!"

Jimin opened the door for him with a smile, being greeted by a bear hug. "We did it!"

"We did!" Jimin hugged him back.

"Thank god." Hoseok pulled Taehyung into the hug as well. "We're making it."

"Yeah we are!"

"I'll be excited to see what you guys make." Taehyung grinned.

"I'm sure we'll be making choreo for big artists." Hoseok smiled wide.

"God that would be awesome."

____

Jungkook cried when he got his call. His Christmas had been amazing, his gift from Seokjin was nice, and his constant texts from Yoongi and Namjoon were encouraging.

When he saw a call from a manager, a number that Yoongi had given him, he'd instantly ran from the living room and went to his bedroom, closing the door and answering.

"Is this Jeon Jungkook?"

"Yes sir." Jungkook spoke fast, nervous about the outcome.

"Congratulations! You passed the audition. We'll be sending you updates via email, and we're looking forward to working with you. Have a happy holiday season!" The manager who spoke was definitely used to theses words, but Jungkook still felt special.

"Thank you sir! I'll do my best."

"We look forward to it."

"Happy holidays." Jungkook felt his eyes tear up.

"Happy holidays. Keep checking your phone, and thank you for auditioning. We'll see you soon!"

And with that, the manager hung up. Jungkook let his tears fall, immediately calling Jin. He sniffled, wiping his eyes and nose, sniffling more and more.

"Namjoon stop- Jungkook!" Jin sounded winded, and Jungkook heard Namjoon laugh. "What's up?"

"I- I got it!" Jungkook cried harder after saying it, trying to calm himself down. He sniffed more, wiping his eyes. "I got in. I'm- I-"

"Woah!" Jin sounded surprised. "So soon?!"

"I knew you could do it!" Namjoon sounded like a proud dad. "Have you told Yoongi yet?"

"N-no I- I called- called Jin hyung right away."

"Ah, he'll be so happy! I'm so proud of you Jungkook. I know this'll be amazing. I can't wait for you to come and meet us in our studios. You'll be impressed by the equipment we get to have."

"I- I can't even ima-imagine it." Jungkook hiccuped. "I'm just so happy. Can- can I tell my followers?"

"I'd wait till you get a little further in. We'll make sure you're updated on things. Now go on and tell Yoongi, he'll be excited."

"And Jungkook, I told you not to call me out of the blue, so next time a text would be preferable." Jin huffed.

Jungkook giggled before sniffing again. "S-sorry I didn't know Namjoon hyung was over."

"He'll be over for most of the week."

"Have fun hyung." Jungkook teased, before hanging up and calling Yoongi.

He'd mostly cried it out, and he was ready to hear Yoongi's voice of excitement.

He picked up rather quickly. "Tell me you got it! I've been making calls all day with the other manager, but they didn't let me take your call!"

"Haha, it's because you're too biased."

"Well? Did you make it in? You sound like you've been crying, is that a good cry or a bad cry?" Yoongi spoke quickly, almost anxiously.

"I made it! I'm- I made it."

"Ah! Yes! I can't wait to work with you! I know you'll be a good part of the industry. I know it."

"I'm glad you have hope in me. I'll try my best to meet your expectations."

"Meet your own kid. I can't wait till I can work on that song with you. Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas hyung."

Yoongi hung up, and Jungkook took a deep breath. He went out to his family. "I made it!"

"Yaaaay!"

____

Jungkook anxiously arrived at the building. He'd been here multiple times now, but it never got easier. He felt anxious and unhungry, and absolutely nervous to meet with Yoongi.

When he entered, he was shocked to see Yoongi waiting for him. "Oh! There you are. Glad to see you made it safely. Come on now, let's get you more settled."

Jungkook followed Yoongi further into the building. He'd been given tours, a run down of what would be happening, and a million talks about his debuting. He couldn't help but feel excited and nervous. He was now a part of a bigger industry, and a bigger company. He knew other artists from this company. He could meet them. His idols. He could become an idol.

He let that sink in while Yoongi led him somewhere. "So come on in, let's work on that song of yours. I know you'll feel more comfortable when you start working. You're still a baby, of course."

"A-ah, yeah. Hopefully I can...get comfortable. I'm still not used to having...idols just around and about. It's so odd."

"I'm glad you've got me. I'm sure you'd be more shy if not."

"Is- is Namjoon hyung here?"

"He's with some other new trainees. But today I have you." Yoongi smiled, then led him inside a room. It had Yoongi's name on the outside.

"Woah~ you're like, official? That's so cool." Jungkook smiled, going into his office. It was a producers dream.

"Thanks." He grinned, bringing Jungkook to his chairs, and getting his computer open. "I've already got your demo up, but let's work over it, okay?"

"Sure. I'm positive you can help me make it sound good."

"Me too."

____

"That's so cool! When will I get to hear it?" Jimin laid against Jungkook, the two in a bed in a forest lit by golden streams of sunlight. An odd place, but it was peaceful and calming. You could barely hear the ocean from here.

"Mmm...well...I'm not sure. Maybe when I debut." Jungkook smiled.

"What! You can't be serious." Jimin pouted. "Don't I get exclusive access?"

Jungkook kissed his pouted lips. "Naw. It's special. I want you to hear it when it's perfectly finished."

"Why?"

"Cause. It's for when I meet you."

Jimin sighed. "That could be forever for all we know."

"No, I'm sure it'll be sooner than later. I know it. If we're in the same building now...we're bound to meet." Jungkook kissed his forehead. "Who knows. Maybe I'll need choreography too. I have no idea what's planned for me yet. Yoongi hyung has just been working with me on my personal song. Not my debut song."

"And I can't hear it?" Jimin pouted more, his hand tightening on Jungkook's chest.

"Nope. It's special for when I meet you. Then I'll release it."

"Ah, so mean." Jimin burrowed into him, finding his warmth. "I wanna hear it from you. Is it a love song?"

"M-maybe. A-at least something like that." Jungkook blushed a little. "I'm not used to...I'm not used to it."

"To what exactly?"

"Hm? I'm- well." Jungkook blushed more, rubbing circles on Jimin's back. "I've...never loved someone before."

Jimin sat up, both hands on Jungkook's chest now, and looked at him with wide eyes. "I'm your first love?!"

Jungkook blushed a deep red, looking away. "M-maybe- maybe I- okay so what if you are?!" Jungkook crossed his arm, hearing Jimin giggle.

"Oh Jungkookie." Jimin tried to pry Jungkook's arms away. "You're my first love too." Jimin kissed his nose, getting Jungkook's arms away and putting them around his waist. He laid on top of Jungkook, smiling wide at Jungkook's red cheeks.

Jungkook moved his hands to hide his face. "I- I can't- Jimin..." Jungkook felt Jimin's hands run up his shirt, and he immediately grabbed his wrists. "Jimin."

"Ah, so lovely. You look so cute Kookie." Jimin smiled happily, leaning in and kissing him. "You're so cute when you're embarrassed."

"Jimin." Jungkook felt so embarrassed, his hands wanting to hide his face, but they had to hold Jimin's hands down otherwise he'd touch his entire chest.

"Yes?"

"Please let me hide."

"No." He smiled more. "I want to show you how much I love you." Jimin kissed Jungkook again, his hands inching higher up Jungkook's shirt.

"Jimin...I- I know you- I know you do. You don't have to prove anything at all."

"I just love you and all of your reactions." Jimin kissed him again, this time deepening it. He pushed into it, Jungkook loosening his grip on Jimin's wrists and letting him touch him. He ran his hands up, down, then grabbed the ends of his shirt and pulling it over Jungkook's head.

Jungkook felt even more embarrassed now, as Jimin broke away from the kiss for only a second to take the shirt off. "J-Jimin- mmph!" Jimin kissed him again, hands roaming Jungkook's chest.

Jungkook nearly whimpered under him, but held it in, not wanting to encourage Jimin. Of course, he didn't dislike this...but he was more embarrassed now than he'd ever been in his life. And he didn't want Jimin to go further. He might just say yes.

Jungkook blushed more at his thoughts, feeling Jimin's hands on him, and his kiss deepening. He felt himself grow more and more- ah, he had to ignore that. He had to ignore that right now-

Jimin giggled, pulling away from the kiss. "Do you feel good?"

"S-sorry- I'm-" Jungkook closed his eyes, hiding his face with his hands. "Sorry."

"Why're you apologizing?" Jimin giggled more, keeping his hands roaming over Jungkook's chest. "It's encouraging to know how I make you feel."

"I- I'm sorry I'm just- I'm just letting my thoughts roam and I'm s-sorry." Jungkook laughed a little in embarrassment, before jolting at Jimin's touch. "Jimin!"

"Hm?" Jimin shimmed down a little, kissing at Jungkook's chest, a hand slipping down into Jungkook's sweats, onto his hip. "I wanna hear your thoughts. Tell me how they're roaming."

"N-no Jimin I-I'm too-"

"Let me hear them." Jimin marked Jungkook's chest, finally gaining a whine from him. "Ah, you sound so lovely."

"Jimin- I'm- I'm sorry." Jungkook could feel the heat on his cheeks, not daring to look at Jimin. He knew he would smile so kindly. He must've looked so pretty right now, eyelashes fluttering to feel pretty. He loved attention.

"For what, love? You don't need to apologize. You're so lovely." Jimin rubbed circles on Jungkook's hip bone, pushing the sweats down just a little more. "Can I kiss your thighs?"

Jungkook blushed more, but nodded. He didn't mind at all. Anything Jimin did, anywhere Jimin touched, felt hot. Jungkook could feel more than just his face heating up.

Jimin grinned, adjusting himself lower, tugging Jungkook's sweats down further, further, then off. Jungkook immediately felt exposed, and moved his hands to cover his chest. "A-ah."

"Need anything?"

"M-my shirt?"

"Mmmm...better idea." Jimin moved the blanket, throwing it over the both of them so that Jimin was completely under the blanket and Jungkook could keep his face either above or under it.

"Jimin!" Jungkook exclaimed once Jimin spread his legs apart, lips wasting no time in kissing his thighs, bitting, then marking them. Yet as much as he was embarrassed, it felt good. Jimin's hand rubbed his thigh, squeezing and keeping his legs spread. "I- Jimin." Jungkook whined. "I...I-"

"Hm?" Jimin stirred from under the blanket, Jungkook keeping his head above the blanket. "Speak up." Jimin scraped his teeth against Jungkook's thigh, not quite bitting.

"I- Jimin..." Jungkook wanted more. He definitely wanted more. His mind was racing, giving him ideas and images he was too embarrassed to share.

"What is it?" Jimin bit his thigh, gnawing on it gently.

Jungkook slowly gathered his courage, peaking under the blanket. "I..." Jimin looked more beautiful than he could've imagined, but he powered through. "I want m-more." Jungkook cursed at himself, his voice cracking. He quickly put the blanket down, hiding his face again. "Never mind I'm just!-"

"Giving in hm? Am I too much of a tease for you, love?" Jimin laughed, but obliged, directing Jungkook's legs so he could get his boxers off.

"N-never mind Jimin I'm just- I'm-" Jungkook shivered, Jimin's hands running over his thighs again, making him want to close them. Jimin kept them open, biting down on his thighs again, sucking in hickeys. "J-Jimin..." Jungkook nearly whimpered again.

"Is my Kookie feeling embarrassed? There's nothing to be embarrassed about. You feel good. And that's that." Jimin carefully kissed towards Jungkook's cock, seeing Jungkook twitch.

"B-but Jimin, I've never- this isn't- I don't know anything." Jungkook did whine this time, as Jimin kissed up his hardened dick. "Jimin!" Jungkook tried to close his legs, but Jimin held them open.

"Ah ah ah, don't try anything. I'm just going to give you some relief. That's all." Jimin giggled before holding Jungkook's base and taking him whole.

Jungkook gasped loudly, flinching. "Jimin! J-Jimin that's- oh god." Jungkook hid his face in his hands again, feeling his thighs shake and want to close again, but unable to as Jimin kept them open. His free hand grabbed Jungkook's inner thigh, squeezing and rubbing. Jungkook bit his wrist, biting back his voice. He didn't want to make another sound. He was too embarrassed to even think about making another sound.

But Jimin didn't seem to take that as an answer. He kept moving his mouth, his other hand stretching Jungkook's legs further and further apart.

"J-Jimin!" Jungkook couldn't really protest. He'd literally asked for it. Besides, Jimin felt amazing and Jungkook was nearly close to coming and he loved Jimin's hand on his thigh and the burn of the stretch felt good and- okay, so he wasn't complaining at all.

He was just too-

"Ji-Jimin I'm close- I can't- Jimin don't- fuck, don't do it."

Jimin laughed a little, Jungkook feeling the vibrations.

He felt hot from that, his back arching slightly, and his hips trying to help him find his release.

"I- Jimin!" Jungkook couldn't help but moan, he was so close, and Jimin really wasn't stopping. "Jimin I can't- Jimin I'm going to-

Jungkook suddenly woke up, bolting upright as he heard a knock on his door and Jin yelling outside.

"You've slept in till 1! Get your ass up, you have things to do today!"

Jungkook was breathing hard, feeling his predicament immediately. "T-thank you hyung!"

"I made lunch so come on, Namjoon will be over any minute."

"Fuck." Jungkook cursed quietly to himself. "Give me a minute!" Jungkook hurriedly got up, going to take a cold shower as quickly as possible.

He couldn't remember a thing in his dream, but goddamn must the blond be confident.

After his...quick shower...Jungkook hurriedly got dressed and headed to the kitchen, a towel over his head still. He rubbed his head with said towel, trying to dry his hair.

"Jungkook, you know today's quite important. What had you sleeping in so much?"

"Dunno. Guess my sleep partner was sleeping in too." Jungkook shrugged. "You woke me up, so that's that." He sat down, going to put food on his plate, but Jin slapped his hand.

"Wait for Namjoon. He's eating with us then he's taking you."

"You know, you told me all this when I was half asleep last night, don't expect me to remember every single thing." Jungkook mumbled, his stomach growling. "Hyung~" Jungkook whined. "When will Namjoon hyung be here? I'm hungry." Jungkook put his chin on the table.

"He'll get here when he gets here. You slept in. That's on you."

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up, pouting a little. He couldn't remember much, but he knew something must've happened in his dream.

____

Jungkook got home late, a full day of writing, singing, and finalizing the companies plan for him. He would be a solo artist, he'd be able to make his own music, but only after his first album.

They were still deciding if he'd have choreography or if he'd play his own instruments, but other than that, he was already working with Yoongi and Namjoon. Both of them were helping him on his personal song, and another producer was helping him with his other songs in the making.

It hadn't been too long yet, but...he had to make some decisions.

"Hey Jungkook."

"Hyung! I didn't think you'd be up." Jungkook was startled by Jin on the couch.

"Ah, well, I got some exciting news and I thought you should hear it from me." Jin smiled wide. "I got the part."

Jungkook widened his eyes. "You did?!"

"I did!" Jungkook quickly dropped his bag and hugged Jin.

"I can't believe it! You- wow!"

"I just needed some encouragement to go for it. And it should be a good one too. You know who might be in it?" Jin nearly started laughing in delirium.

"Who?"

"Kim Taehyung."

"No fucking way." Jungkook spoke in an exhale, pulling away from the hug. "You might get to act with him? He's like, one of the biggest actors right now."

"Exactly." Jin shook his head. "I'm honestly really...just wow, right?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah. That's how- that's how it feels. I'm really happy for you hyung. Did you tell Namjoon hyung?"

"I did. My moms real proud too." Jin sighed happily. "I'll be able to sleep well tonight."

"Speaking of...I'm beat. And tomorrow will be just as busy." Jungkook smiled. "I'm really happy for you."

"Goodnight Jungkook." Jin smiled back, and the two went their own ways.

When Jungkook finally finished his shower, cleaned his bed and turned off his light, he was out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

He was greeted with a lost in thought Jimin. He was staring at the sky, the brilliant blue and pink sky feeling comforting. He swore he could hear the ocean somewhere, but they were in the open field.

Jimin seemed to feel his presence, as he looked over with a smile. "Jungkook! It's quite late, isn't it?"

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Jungkook smiled back, taking Jimin's hand and kissing the back of it. "I had a busy day."

"It's not a problem. Are you doing okay?" Jimin brushed Jungkook's hair out of his eyes with his free hand.

"Ye...yeah? Why?" Jungkook felt like something was a little off. Jimin was being extremely kind and he wasn't teasing him. Something about his softness was almost...like a goodbye. "Hey, wait, don't- don't tell me you think you're going away again." Jungkook watched Jimin smile, then purse his lips and look down.

"...I do. Everything is just so brief. It hasn't been too long, but I guess three months is the limit. So I wanted to just...make it a good last night. You know?"

Jungkook frowned. "I don't want you to go away."

"I don't want to either." Jimin sighed. "But I don't want to freak out like last time. I can do this. We can do it." Jimin looked up at him. "Right? Just...we'll wait till next time."

"Next time..." Jungkook bit his bottom lip. "That's...who knows how long it'll be."

"But it'll be worth it. Third times the charm." Jimin smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

"Right." Jungkook smiled a little.

Jimin squished Jungkook's cheeks with his free hand. "Hey. I mean it." Jimin got him to have eye contact. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook pouted. "You know I'll wait for you."

"I know. That's why I'm not as scared anymore." Jimin smiled, then softly kissed Jungkook's puckered lips. He let go of his cheeks, brushing the hair out of his eyes again. "And I don't want you to be either."

"Right. We'll meet in time. I know it."

"Exactly. We can do this." Jimin nodded.

Jungkook smiled a little. "Then can I at least have a nice kiss goodbye?" Jungkook tried to make this night seem light and happy.

"Why of course! I wouldn't be able to go on without one. Imagine...it's like you're sending me off on a plane." Jimin inched closer, grabbing Jungkook's collar and bringing their noses together. "How would you kiss me then?"

"I'd never want to let you go." Jungkook barely breathed, Jimin's eyes directly on him.

"Then how would you kiss me when you pick me up?" Jimin eyed his lips.

"I'd...I'd pick you up. I'd pick you up and kiss you and not care about another living soul around." Jungkook blushed, but was comfortable.

Jimin giggled. "You're strong. I'm sure you could do it." And with that he pulled Jungkook closer by the collar and kissed him, their lips molding together comfortably. Jungkook leaned into it happily, knowing he'd miss it.

Jimin was his first kiss, his first love, and as much as he was scared, he was certain. Jimin was it. There wasn't another person like him, worth his time, or even worth looking at romantically. Jimin was handsome, and kind, and generous, and soft and silly and-

"Jungkook." Jimin held Jungkook's face in his hands, thumbing over Jungkook's cheeks to wipe away the tears.

"Huh? Oh, I'm- I'm sorry." Jungkook looked down, but Jimin held his face up. "I just feel like we're going to be away for a very long time." He didn't even know he was crying.

"I feel it too. But you're here right now and I'm here right now, and that's okay." Jimin kissed away his tears, Jungkook pouting.

"Ye-yeah...yeah. You're right. I'm just feeling a little...at a loss."

"We'll be okay, and then one day, we'll wake up together, and then we'll wake up everyday next to each other. That's enough to make me feel okay for the time being."

Jungkook pushed their lips together again, wanting Jimin close once again. He knew he'd miss his warmth and happiness, even though he wasn't going to remember a thing in the morning.

Jungkook kept pushing closer and closer to Jimin, wanting to kiss deeper, wanting to be in any way possible closer. He felt Jimin continue to wipe his tears with his thumbs, but did encourage his want to kiss deeper. Jimin let him. He let Jungkook direct and push him backwards, another attempt to be closer and have their bodies together.

And that's how they stayed.

____

Jungkook felt the longing for months.

He was working hard, just about ready to finish his year of college and drop out, ready to start his debut album, and quitting his job.

Jin was going to quit with Jungkook, and then get busy. So Jungkook knew he was going to quit too. But there was something else.

Maybe that blond. He couldn't seem to get him out of his mind, but the more time that passed the further he seemed to go to the back of his head. Besides, he should be focusing on his music career. He could be something big, especially if Yoongi and Namjoon were going to help him.

And before Jungkook knew it, half a year had passed.

____

Jimin was definitely getting used to the structured practices and studio time. He and Hoseok were in this together, and so they pushed each other further. They would hear music, get what else they needed, then piece together a choreography. They would watch each other, nitpick, then correct it, taking hundreds of videos and writing down little notes.

If Jimin wasn't so busy, he might've had something else on his mind, but he couldn't think of what.

So he focused on dance. Besides, having Hoseok with him got them much higher up much quicker. He probably could've gone to a bigger company, but he wanted to stick with Jimin, so here they were, making choreography for some of the biggest artists in the area. They skipped right over making choreography for the smaller artists.

They had a routine, a set way things went, and very little time to go around and do anything else.

And before Jimin knew it...a year had passed.

____

Jungkook got his debut album. He'd- he'd done it. He performed at some places, done some quick interviews, but he couldn't really process it all. He was...out there now. Really, really out there. And he- wow, he couldn't handle the support.

His year of preparation had gained him a small amount of followers and fans, those who followed his YouTube channel had immediately came to support him, and he was honestly feeling overwhelmed by the amount of support.

He'd been so entirely busy, he didn't even realize that it was closing in on his break. He was graciously given a break to celebrate the end of the year with his family, and Jungkook was taking it. Even Jin was going home, so Jungkook didn't feel too bad about leaving.

He was going to work until then.

That's 2 years.

Jungkook wondered what that voice in his head was reminding him of. It had been two years. But since...what?

Jungkook tried to remember, but didn't think too hard about it as he was called into Namjoon's office.

"Hyung?"

"I've got it. You're describing euphoria." Namjoon was smiling wide. "Take a listen." He sat Jungkook down, put the headphones over his ears and hit play excitedly.

Jungkook closed his eyes and listened. "Ah! Yes! This is- oh my god this is it!" Jungkook opened his eyes wide with hope. "This is how it feels."

"Then Jungkook...we're about done with your song." Namjoon excitedly got his phone out, texting quickly, then getting onto his computer. "I'm booking a time for you, okay? I want this done as soon as possible so we can listen to it and tweak it, does that sound okay? And then you can have it for if you want to release it or not."

"That sounds...amazing. I can't-"

"Namjoon!" Yoongi stormed in. "Without me!"

"I had some free time on my hands." Namjoon shrugged. "It had me thinking. And I found it."

Jungkook handed the headphones to Yoongi. "It's definitely it hyung."

Yoongi took a listen, then shook his head. "Namjoon...you were meant for this job. You're making this kid shine bright."

"You know it was mostly his idea. I'm just filling in the blanks for him."

Jungkook nodded. "It's...going to be perfect."

Jungkook was still getting used to the jarring change of lifestyle. He was working out more, he had a meal plan, and now he might have choreography in his next album.

But for now, it was time for a break. He'd promised to eat moderately, but that was a fucking lie and he knew it. But that didn't matter. He was on the last train to Busan for the night, having already said goodbye to everyone, and he was happy.

Covered up and warm, Jungkook put in music and slept.

He was woken up by the train conductor. "Kid...last stop."

Jungkook blinked a lot, then took his headphones off. "Thank you. Have a good night and happy holidays." Jungkook felt cheery to be home.

"You too." The conductor moved back to his quarters, and Jungkook got off the train. Bag on his back, Jungkook tried to find his family. There weren't many others here, but he was also bleary eyed.

"Jungkook!" His brother was the first to find him, his parents smiling when they finally saw him.

"Oh hyung." Jungkook laughed and hugged him.

"Look at our successful boy." His mother hugged him as well, his dad adding in.

"You've got work to do." He kissed Jungkook's head. "But you're doing amazing and I'm so proud of you."

Jungkook let himself be squished. It felt nice to be surrounded by loved ones.

They dragged him to their car and talked the whole way, playing his music loudly to embarrass and love him. Jungkook felt like this was going to be a good Christmas break.

____

Jungkook was happy. He hadn't felt this okay in a while. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he was this happy, perhaps it was when he'd gotten his call.

He loved the cold weather, he loved being bundled up, and he did love the fact that it was easy for him to cover his face and be a part of the crowd.

He was out with his family shopping, their Christmas list almost done, but he'd wandered away while waiting for them.

He simply felt...light. Light and airy, as if nothing in the world could go wrong. The streets were busy, the day was nice, and Jungkook watched the people walk by. The sky was beautiful too, almost like cotton candy. Maybe in a couple minutes it would become that lovely pink and blue cotton candy look.

A text got his attention. His brother said 5 minutes till they leave, so Jungkook took one more look at the place before heading back.

He smiled to himself as he walked, filing in with the many other people out, walking down a set of stairs, accidentally hitting someone's shoulder on his way. They nearly spun 180 degrees.

"Sorry." Jungkook and the other said it simultaneously, as they kept walking. He swore he saw safety pin earrings. When Jungkook got to the bottom he stopped.

"Wait!" Jungkook turned around, seeing the man he bumped into at the top of the stairs. His blond hair stuck out of his beanie.

Jungkook widened his eyes, the other people walking around them, until they were alone. Jungkook hurriedly started taking his mask, hood, and hat off, shoving them into his jacket pockets, as the blond came down the stairs in a hurry, jumping off the last step and into Jungkook's arms, making him lose balance, take a couple steps back, before falling down.

"You! What's your name!" The blond on top of him sat up, but didn't get off of him, staring at him with wide eyes.

"J-Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook stuttered, his cheeks becoming red from the cold. Yeah, the cold. "T-tell me yours."

"Park Jimin. You're- you're the- you're my-" he couldn't finish his sentence, so Jungkook cut him off.

"Yes. Yes, I am." Jungkook nodded, his eyes still wide. "Jimin." It sounded good in his mouth. "Oh god Jimin." Jungkook started to laugh, feeling his eyes water. "I love you. I love you Jimin, I love you so much I-"

Jimin grabbed his collar with both hands and kissed Jungkook, pressing himself onto Jungkook, before breaking away and laughing. "What the hell was I supposed to expect. I forgot you were from Busan too."

"I love you Jimin." Jungkook hugged him, glad that the crowd of people had moved on.

"I love you too Jungkookie. I missed you so much." Jimin hugged him tightly, making Jungkook laugh.

"Jimin...we should get up, no? We'll be in the way. Besides! I'm with my family right now, you should meet them!" Jungkook was excited.

The two got up, brushing off their clothes, before looking at each other and giggling. "Fuck, give me your phone number." Jimin hurriedly tried to get his phone out, Jungkook doing the same

"Right, right. But seriously...do you want to come over? Are you busy?" Jungkook felt like an excited puppy, the two trading numbers. Jungkook stared at his number with a bright smile, then looked back at Jimin. "You're so pretty." Jungkook melted, biting back his embarrassed smile.

Jimin was smiley as well, staring into Jungkook's eyes. "Your eyes are as bright as I first met you." He went to brush Jungkook's hair out of his eyes, but a yell made him jump instead.

"Jungkook! Come on dude, we're waiting on you." Junghyun had his hands in his pockets, before processing that Jungkook was with someone. "Fan?" He raised an eyebrow, Jungkook shaking his head.

"Hyung, this is Park Jimin. He's my boyfriend." Jungkook smiled happily, rummaging through his pockets and getting his hat back on, then his mask. "Jimin...care to join us for dinner?"

Junghyun seemed shocked for a second before sighing. "Kookie, moms going to gush and question. It's nice to meet you Park." Junghyun bowed. "My names Jeon Junghyun, I'm Jungkook's older brother."

"It's nice to meet you too." Jimin bowed and bit down a smile. He liked the sound of being introduced as his boyfriend. "I'd...love to join you for dinner."

"Ah! Amazing!" Jungkook smiled happily and excitedly took Jimin's hands. "You're going to love it. You could probably stay the night unless you need to get home." Jungkook pouted after saying that. "Mm."

"I can see if I can." Jimin laughed, but walked with Jungkook when Junghyun started to walk.

"So Jungkook...when were you going to tell us you have a boyfriend?"

"Well...you see..." Jungkook felt embarrassed. He'd never dated before, so of course it came as a surprise.

"We've been long distance for a couple years, but this is our first time meeting." Jimin came up with a quick, natural lie, Jungkook nodding and going along. "I went out of country for a while, but we met because of our goal at the same company. I just got the job, but I came to surprise him and we met accidentally!" Jimin laughed.

"It's the best gift I could've ever thought of." Jungkook knew he was being cheesy, but fuck, he didn't care. Jimin was here with him. And he could remember everything now. Every joke they made, every kiss, every laugh, every moment they had. He couldn't help but feel love towards the blond. It was a different shade, but just as lovely.

"Nerd." Jimin brushed their shoulders together affectionately.

"You're the smart one out of us. I'm technically a college drop out."

"I never went." Jimin smiled proudly, making Jungkook laugh.

"Well, you're still smarter than me on a technical level."

"Sure, sure."

When Jungkook got to their car, he saw his parents waiting for him, then becoming confused. "Jungkook?"

"Meet Park Jimin, he's my boyfriend, and I'd like for you to meet him over dinner?" Jungkook smiled, feeling embarrassed in front of his parents.

"Jungkook, did you pick some random boy off the street?" His dad immediately poked fun at him.

"Appa! No! I'm serious." Jungkook blushed more, looking to his mom who was smiling.

"I'm sure dinner will be a good way to meet someone." His mother smiled kindly. "It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too ma'am." Jimin bowed. "I promise to take care of your son, he means the world to me."

"Confidence, hm? Jungkook, we were joking about you being interested in older men." His dad teased him again, making Jungkook shrink smaller and Jimin laugh.

"Appa please..."

"Let's get dinner together then. A meal together will surly bring you into the family." His father finally said a serious, and kind sentence.

Jungkook loved his family dearly.

Their dinner went extremely well. They ate well, drank a lot, and talked even more. Jimin shared a lot about himself, saying how they had online dates instead of dreams, saying some white lies here and there to cover their much more odd reasons, but otherwise kept it real.

Jimin was a natural charmer. Charismatic, and fucking handsome. Jungkook was smiling lovingly at him while he talked to his family, finishing off their food.

Jimin gave him a glance and smiled before talking more.

Jimin was even able to stay the night, and Jungkook never let him go. The shared bed was small, but Jungkook held Jimin tight, loving Jimin's scent. Jimin demanded to be the bigger person, so Jungkook was hugging Jimin's waist with his head on his chest.

He would never complain though, because anything Jimin wanted would be his.

"Jungkook, thank you. I can't believe...just wow. I'm the luckiest man in the world."

Jungkook laughed tiredly. "No, I'm pretty sure I am. You're in my bed wearing my clothes. There's nothing better than that."

"Meet my family tomorrow."

"Of course. Your dad is the kindest man, right?"

"Right. He's the loveliest man I know. He's always said I deserve to be pampered."

"You do." Jungkook burrowed his head in Jimin's chest. "You deserve everything."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah. I'll give you everything I can, even if one day that's only my love and my words."

Jimin gave a short laugh. "You're cute."

"I mean it."

"I know you do. Because I love you. And besides...your love is enough. It's all I need to feel spoiled. First loves feel special, don't they?"

Jungkook nodded. "You're filled with love."

"It spills out so often, I'm so glad you're the one picking it all up."

"Mmm." Jungkook clung to him, their legs tangled together.

"Goodnight Kookie. I love you so much."

"I love you too Jimin. I love you so much."

____

Jungkook was nervous to meet Jimin's parents, but it went terribly well. His father pretended to give him a lecture on how "if you hurt my son, I'll find you!" but laughed the whole way through and his mother made him cookies so yeah, it was definitely Jimin's house.

The house was filled with this- this feeling of happiness and love. Different from Jungkook's house, but similar.

All Jungkook could feel was love.

This fueled him for the next four months, tirelessly working on his next album.

It was love, and love, and so much more love.

He was dancing now, not with Jimin, sadly, but in general. His second album was about ready when Jungkook asked if Jimin could come to his apartment. And of course, Jimin said yes.

The two were sitting on Jungkook's bed.

"S-so Jimin..." Jungkook was nervous. He'd planned this out, hyped himself up, but sadly he was still anxious.

"Yes? What it is love?" Jimin could tell immediately that he was nervous, so he put his hand over Jungkook's. "Tell me what's wrong?"

"Nothing wrong! I'm just- I want you to hear my song before I release it."

"Okay. What's nerve wracking about this?" Jimin raised a suspicious eyebrow.

"It-its the song. The song I made for you. I promised you I'd give it to you, but- but I want to put it on my album. It'll be the first song." Jungkook licked his lips. "Is that okay?"

"Of course! You know I love you, and you know I love being loved." Jimin smiled. "I can't believe you've kept this from me for years." He playfully hit Jungkook's shoulder.

"W-well, I just- it's special." Jungkook got up and motioned Jimin over, sitting him down on his chair and putting the headphones over his ears. Then, he hit play, letting Jimin take it all in.

Jimin nodded along, closing his eyes to take it in. He pursed his lips, then swallowed hard.

After the song finished, Jimin took off the headphones and stood up, grabbing Jungkook's collar and pulling him down. "I make you that happy?"

"You- you are the cause of my euphoria." Jungkook blushed, seeing Jimin roll his eyes.

"I love you so much." He smashed their lips together, keeping it soft for a minute before pulling away to ask one, important question. "Is Seokjin hyung coming home tonight?" Jimin asked quietly, but with implications.

Jungkook blushed. "N-no, he- he's staying at Namjoon hyungs house." He couldn't help but stare at Jimin's lips, a shade darker now that they'd kissed. His lips were always so kissable too, so round and always so big.

Jimin smiled knowingly. "Do you wanna?"

Jungkook felt embarrassed to speak, but under Jimin's gaze, he knew if he didn't he'd feel even more so. "I- last time you- well." Jungkook cleared his throat, licking his lips. "Last time you didn't let me look at you."

"Is that your only concern?"

Jungkook nodded, forcing his eyes to move up to Jimin's eyes.

"Then do you wanna?" Jimin titled his head a little, his smile making Jungkook heat up.

Jungkook nodded again, but covered his mouth with his hand. "H...how can you say it so casually?"

"Cause I really love fucking you." Jimin giggled, his hands moving to Jungkook's hips and waddling them over to the bed. Jungkook hit the back of his knees, falling back on the bed, while Jimin went to Jungkook's nightstand.

"Jimin...that...we've only done it once." Jungkook barely squeaked his words out, sitting up to get further on the bed.

"That's more than enough times for me to know I love it. You're so cute under me. You're just- god." Jimin ran a hand through his hair, remembering. He dropped what they needed on the bed. "You're so fucking hot. You really try not to make a noise, but that makes me want to hear you even more." Jimin smiled. "And I'm happy you want to see me."

"I like watching you l...look satisfied." Jungkook looked away, feeling the bed sink a little as Jimin climbed onto it. "And I like...feeling like I'm the reason you're happy."

"You are." Jimin kissed Jungkook's cheek. "Last time you said you were too embarrassed, but I'm glad...I'm glad you want to see my face." Jimin dragged his finger across Jungkook's chin, turning his head to meet his eyes. "So why weren't you looking now?" Jimin kissed his cheek again, then the edge of his lips.

"A-ah, well...you're just very confident." Jungkook nodded. "And I'm...not used to having someone so all over me." Jungkook said this while Jimin put a hand on his thigh.

"But you've got so much muscle...how could I keep my hands off? Besides...you've said it's okay, right? You're okay with this?"

Jungkook nodded, looking at Jimin's lips. "I like your hands on me. They feel...god, never mind." Jungkook looked down.

"Mmm." Jimin lifted his chin again, giving him an encouraging kiss. "I wanna know how you feel." Jimin rubbed his thigh, inching to his inner thigh. He leaned in closer.

"I- I-" Jungkook shivered, still not used to keeping his legs open. "I just...I love you a lot and I think you could do anything and I'd love it." He also wasn't used to voicing his words.

"Oh yeah?" Jimin kissed at his jaw.

"Y-yeah. I just..." Jungkook swallowed his pride. "I want to make you feel good." Jungkook looked at Jimin, his hand coming up to cup Jimin's cheek and kissed him, pushing him onto his back, straddling Jimin's thighs. "I want to know h-how you react when I do things." Jungkook felt himself become more embarrassed, but he wanted this.

He couldn't stop thinking about how to surprise Jimin, waking up many mornings with problems, and now that he was here, Jungkook didn't want to back out now. He'd thought it through, he wanted to do this, and Jimin's face was priceless.

His eyes were quite shocked, his lips slightly parted, and staring up at Jungkook. "Kookie, are you sure?" For once, his cheeks were a pleasant pink.

"I'm sure." Jungkook nodded, pouting a little. He slowly took of his sweater, Jimin blushing more.

"You always hide your muscles so I forget just how shaped you are." Jimin eyed him lovingly. "You're really sure?"

Jungkook huffed. "You think I can't do it?"

"No, I know you can do anything. I just...don't want to rush you into anything." Jimin nodded wanting to make sure Jungkook was going his own pace.

"You're not rushing me. I've been consenting the whole time, don't worry Jimin. But what I want...is to make you feel good. I want you...to feel good." Jungkook leaned in closer, grabbing Jimin's wrists delicately and putting them on his own waist. "And I want you to...to help me through it." Jungkook put their foreheads together. "Please?"

"Oh Jungkook, I love when you say what you want. You know I'll do anything for you." Jimin held Jungkook's waist. "I'm happy you're telling me things, because I want to make you feel good too." Jimin rubbed up his sides, then back onto his hips.

"Thank you." Jungkook whispered, kissing at Jimin's neck, slowly undoing his shirt, one button at a time, then kissed his lips to distract him. Jimin sat up a little bit to let Jungkook take his shirt off of him, but kept the kiss going. Jungkook knew Jimin was letting him lead, and so he did for this moment.

He deepened the kiss, his hips starting to move on Jimin. He kept this up, feeling Jimin's hands tighten on his hips sometimes, or his thighs tensing under him periodically. After a couple more minutes, Jimin broke away.

"Ah. Jungkook." Jimin smiled, hands tightening on Jungkook's hips again. "Let me prep you."

Jungkook giggled a little. "Already?"

"I'm sure you can feel the answer." Jimin smiled more at Jungkook's blush.

"W-well, you're not wrong." He looked away, Jimin's confidence making him a little nervous.

"Then let me prep you. Take your sweats off love." Jimin hummed. "Can you do that for me?" Jimin batted his eyelashes, Jungkook nodding immediately.

"I can do that." Jungkook slowly sat back, moving his sweats down, underwear with them, then sat up to get them to his kneed. "As l-long as I can get yours off as well."

Jimin smiled wide. "Of course you can."

Jungkook leaned forward kissing Jimin and kicking off his clothes. He let his hand roam up Jimin's chest, then sat up, Jimin raising his head a little, still wanting to kiss him. "You're...very kind to me...and I want to return the kindness by doing something special." Jungkook carefully took off Jimin's sweats, feeling Jimin's hands on his waist afterwards.

"You don't need to do a thing to return my kindness. I give it for free, since it's what you deserve. You're just beautiful, inside and out." Jimin smiled at him lovingly.

"I- that's-" Jungkook blushed.

Jimin laughed. "I didn't mean literally. But speaking of." Jimin grabbed the bottle of lube and opening it, pouring the contents on his fingers then moving his other hand to Jungkook's ass.

"Mmm." Jungkook pursed his lips, leaning forward again. "Can I kiss you?" Jungkook felt himself heat up. He wasn't used to any of this, and he was afraid to admit he loved it. But Jimin's lips were too sweet and too red and big and wow Jungkook was staring. He averted his eyes. "Sorry I just-"

"You don't have to ask, but it's cute that you do. Come here." Jimin pouted, making Jungkook smile.

"You're kind." Jungkook leaned down and kissed him, letting his body rest on top of Jimin's lightly. He kissed him happily, gasping when he felt Jimin's finger push in. Jimin took this as an opportunity to push his tongue in, making Jungkook blush deeply. He whined loudly when Jimin pushed his finger in deeper, hitting a much more sensitive spot. "J-Jimin!"

"Yes love?" Jimin smiled in a sort of daze, his finger moving. "Can I add another already, is that what you'd like to say?"

Jungkook heated up more. "N- that's not what I was going to say. I- I- ah!-"

Jimin cut him off, pushing his second finger in. "Hm? What were you going to say?"

"I-" Jungkook huffed, feeling embarrassed. "I just- you hit a good spot." Jungkook spoke quietly, nearly murmuring and looking away.

"Aww~ thank you for telling me." Jimin squeezed Jungkook's ass to get his attention.

"Jimin!"

"Don't look away from me." Jimin spoke in a pout. "You know I'm in need of attention."

Jungkook's lower lip trembled as he stumbled on his words. "Oh Jimin- but I- I don't- Jimin I think- Jimin!" Jungkook gasped as Jimin pushed in deeper, curling his fingers to make Jungkook whimper.

"Feel good? You gotta tell me if I'm making you feel good." Jimin hummed happily, Jungkook resting his head on Jimin's shoulder. "You don't wanna kiss me anymore?"

Jungkook whined. "Jimin, pl-please." He panted a little, Jimin feeling it on his shoulder. "Please. You can add another." Jungkook felt embarrassed, but he wanted to encourage Jimin to feel confident. Besides...he really did want his.

"Already? Are you sure?" Jimin was still caring and kind. As much as he teased Jungkook...he wanted him to be okay and this was known between them. Jungkook nodded.

"I'm sure." Jungkook nodded again. "It wasn't too long ago...so I'm- I'm g-good." Jungkook whined. "Please."

Jimin let out a soft laugh. "You keep surprising me Jungkook. The more I think I know you...the more you show me there's more to know." Jimin pulled his fingers out, pouring more lube, then pushing in again, this time with three fingers. "I hope you feel satisfied."

Jungkook nodded, whined, then raised his head to kiss Jimin again. Jungkook kissed him passionately, whining as Jimin played with his ass. His hands moved rhythmically, one fondling his ass, the other pushing in and out of his ass.

"Jimin! Jimin- Jimin I want you to- to put- please Jimin." Jungkook whined more, not quite moaning.

"You're on top love...would you like to do it yourself?" Jimin kissed him again. "Or would you like a little help?"

Jungkook nodded, sitting up. "I- I want some help." Jungkook moaned quietly as Jimin took his fingers out. "I've never- never done anything like this."

"Mmm, me neither, but I know enough to know what I'm doing." Jimin started to move his boxers down, Jungkook raising his hips so he could get them lower, and Jungkook helped him take them off. "Okay, lemme adjust." Jimin sat up, holding Jungkook's waist, and moved the two so Jimin could lean against the wall.

"M-mkay Jimin." Jungkook opened the condom and put it on Jimin, his cheeks red, darkening once he had to lube Jimin up. "Fuck."

Jimin laughed a little. "You're good. You're doing so good Jungkookie." Jimin moved his hands from Jungkook's hips to his ass, putting his middle fingers in Jungkook's hole, opening him up. "You good?"

Jungkook blushed more, closing his eyes and nodding. He slowly lowered down, Jimin guiding him, and moaned quietly as he moved. "J-Jimin...y-you're-" Jungkook let his air go, his eyes tight shut as he slowly lowered down.

"You can go slow Jungkook." Jimin held his hips, feeling his thighs tremble ever so slightly. "You don't need to push yourself too far."

"I want to feel you." Jungkook moaned, inch by inch moaning louder.

"Jungkook-" Jimin felt slightly concerned, holding Jungkook's hips tighter to stop him. Of course finding out what each other liked was something nice, but Jungkook definitely wasn't used to this yet.

"I want to. I want it. Let me- let me do it." Jungkook scowled, his eyes still closed, his nose starting to scrunch. "Please."

"...okay Jungkook. Tell me if you need anything more." Jimin loosened his grip on Jungkook's waist, letting him move down and bottom out. He was certainly aroused.

"Fuck." Jungkook's voice cracked as he rested, his hands on Jimin's shoulders. They slowly moved to the ends of his hair, playing with them as he adjusted. "I-I don't think I'll ever get used to it."

"T-to what exactly?" Jimin felt embarrassed too, with Jungkook on top of him like this. He was so...attractive in a way that he wasn't any other time. Jimin liked that he was this way only with him.

"To this feeling." Jungkook's bottom lip trembled. "I- it's nothing- I can't compare it to anything." Jungkook took a deep breath, then exhaled, moving up slowly. Jimin groaned.

"I can agree with that, fuck." Jimin held Jungkook's hips, moving his hands up and down his thighs, squeezing them and rubbing the inside of them. "Mmm, your thighs are so strong."

"T-thank you." Jungkook whined, Jimin's fingers making him hot and bothered. "J-Jimin, c-can I go faster?" Jungkook huffed, not wanting to moan. He felt too embarrassed to do that much.

"Of course. As long as you're taking care of yourself love." Jimin sighed happily. "You feel good Jungkook."

"J-just good?" Jungkook squeezed his eyes shut as he started to move, obviously trying not to moan.

"Amazing." Jimin pouted, wanting Jungkook to moan at all. "You feel amazing."

"Perfect." Jungkook gasped out a moan as he bottomed out again, his eyes fluttering open. "Ah, Jimin."

"Absolutely amazing Kookie." Jimin hummed with encouragement, knowing Jungkook needed it to feel confident. "You can be loud you know." Jimin looked up at him, meeting Jungkook's eyes. He blushed deeply.

"You don't...mind?" Jungkook tightened his grip on Jimin's shoulders, somewhat nervous as he moved. "I think I sound too...mmm, you know."

"You sound beautiful though. Everything about you is." Jimin moved a hand to Jungkook's chin, bringing him closer and kissing him. "If you want to use your voice...then I want to hear it. I want to encourage you and what you're comfortable with, along with what's outside your comfort zone." Jimin smiled. "I just want you to feel okay with me, okay?" Jimin kissed him again.

Jungkook nodded. "I do. I- I really love you." Jungkook whined as he started moving again. "You better know that."

"Oh I do." Jimin smiled wide. "There's no way you could ever be this way with anyone else."

Jungkook laughed at that, making Jimin feel giddy. "You're definitely right about that. I- ha, I could never be-" Jungkook giggled, then moaned loudly as Jimin met him halfway. "Fuck!"

"Could never...?"

"I could never be- be so- so like this- p-please do that again- please do that again Jimin." Jungkook started to move faster, definitely finding himself more and more comfortable.

And Jimin's words of encouragement were, well, encouraging.

"As you wish." Jimin grinned, wishing he could kiss Jungkook more, but he knew there would be plenty of that afterwards. He held Jungkook's waist, meeting him halfway when he would move down.

"Ah! Jimin- Jimin it feels g-good, feels really good." Jungkook was most definitely easing up, his embarrassment passed, instead being more carefree and Jimin lived for it.

The fact that Jungkook was this way, this beautiful, this loud, this lovely with only him, was beyond amazing. It was more than he could've ever asked for. Jungkook was perfect in every imperfection.

"You sound so lovely, I'm in utopia." Jimin watched Jungkook smile slowly.

"Oh y-yeah?"

"Yeah. Nothing can beat this."

"N-no way. You're- fuck- you're so good." Jungkook whined. "You feel so good."

"You do too love." Jimin nearly groaned, his grip tightening on Jungkook's waist as he thrusted his hips up to meet him halfway.

The two moaned together. "Mmm!~ fuck Jimin, I-" Jungkook's voice cut off, a silent moan leaving his lips. "I- can't- fuck." Jungkook whimpered as he kept moving, almost desperately at this point. Jimin could tell he wasn't going to last too much longer.

"Can't what love?" Jimin nearly moaned, but bit it back.

"Can't- can't hold out much longer Jimin, I- you're so good I-" Jungkook shook his head, shutting his eyes again as he kept moving.

Jimin smiled. He looked so cute like this, confident but embarrassed. "You're doing so well Jungkook, you're doing absolutely amazing. You feel like heaven."

"E-euphoria?" Jungkook cracked a smile.

Jimin laughed. "Euphoria. God I'm so happy." Jimin groaned, the two trying to find their release.

Jungkook moved up and down, his thighs shaking now, as Jimin met him halfway. Jungkook's whined and moans were much louder than Jimin's groans, but the two were panting by the time they were close.

"Fuck Jimin- Jimin I'm-"

"Me too Kookie, I-"

They came together, Jungkook moaning loudly, Jimin groaning. Jungkook was quick to push their lips together, not even letting Jimin catch his breath.

He kissed passionately, his tongue exploring Jimin's mouth, his hands on Jimin's cheeks. Jimin's hands moved to Jungkook's ass, squeezing, making Jungkook gasp.

"Ah! J-Jimin, I'm- s-sensitive." Jungkook huffed, trying to catch his breath. "Fuck, you're so kissable." He kissed him again, not caring about anything else at the moment.

Not caring about anything else in the world at the moment.

Jungkook finally broke away, his body tired. "Jimin...I don't wanna shower." He whined a little, getting off of Jimin slowly.

Jimin started to clean them up, in a small daze from Jungkook's kissing. "Mmm...but we should. Clean body, better sleep."

"I'll sleep fine next to you anyways."

"You don't care about the sheets?"

"I'll clean them tomorrow." Jungkook found his boxers and put them on lazily.

"No bathroom anything?"

"I just want to kiss you." Jungkook started to move into the bed, but Jimin stopped him.

"You positive?"

"I'm sure. We can clean up tomorrow." Jungkook smiled at him. "I just want to cuddle and kiss you."

Jimin smiled and rolled his eyes. "Okay. But I'm going to the bathroom first." Jimin teased.

Jungkook laid in his bed with rushing thoughts. He wasn't used to a single thing yet, but he did want to be. All he really knew he was absolutely comfortable with was kissing, but that was because Jimin had encouraged him enough times in their dreams. Maybe he could encourage him enough for him to get used to having sex.

When Jimin came back, the two cuddled and kept close.

"I loved your song...by the way...I know it'll be amazing. It feels like happiness, and I'm so glad to be able to give you that." Jimin spoke quietly, kissing Jungkook on the nose. "I'm so glad you feel such happiness."

"Of course I do. You're the most amazing person I've ever met. Probably the most amazing person I'll ever meet. No one else could ever make me as happy as you make me."

Jimin smiled wide. "I love you."

"I love you too Jimin."

They stayed entangled the whole night.

"Jungkook! Breakfast soon!" Jin's voice made Jungkook stir, but not get up. He held Jimin tighter, his eyes glued shut. "Jungkook!"

His voice got closer, before he knocked and opened the door. "Jungkook, you told me to wake you up- oh." Jin cleared his throat. "I'll make enough for three then."

"Mmmm, thanks hyung." Jungkook mumbled, not even trying to wake up, instead kissing Jimin on the forehead.

He heard Jin laugh as he closed the door. "Wait till Namjoon hears about this!"
