Jungkook couldn't wait for his day at school to end. He really just wanted to be home, play video games, eat some food, and relax, but no, here he was in school, learning about something he didn't understand.

His head was obviously out of focus as the teacher tapped his table.

"Hm?" Jungkook rose his head.

"Will someone please reiterate since he wasn't listening?" The teacher walked back to the front of the class, Jungkook sighing.

The person next to him explained they were learning something about algebra. Jungkook didn't catch it then either.

The class eventually ended, Jungkook heading to lunch. It was so odd to start high school as the new kid. Everyone already knew each other from middle school, and Jungkook didn't know a single soul. He sat at a table alone after getting his food, getting a manga out to pass the time.

He'd been here for a couple weeks now, having transferred halfway through the school year, and was having no fun. This school was big, and lonely, and Jungkook didn't understand anything he was learning.

They did have one thing though. He was hoping he could join the taekwondo club, since he'd always been interested before. He didn't know how good he would be, but he always thought it would be cool. And if it was part of the school, he'd have to pay a lot less! That would make his parents stress less, and he might even get their approval to participate in a club. He didn't even mind working more part time shifts to pay for the uniform, he just wanted something to do here.

His attention was snapped away from his manga as he heard a soft voice. "Excuse me? Hello?"

Jungkook looked up. "Yes?" He saw a soft looking boy with black hair looking down at him. His face was still young, but definitely older.

"Do you mind if we sit here?" He asked with a smile, polite and kind.

"Oh- no I don't mind." Jungkook spoke quietly, nervous around the amount of people behind the older boy. He put his manga away.

"Thank you!" He sat next to him, his friends also sitting at the table. "Oh, wait, you're new aren't you?" He kept his smile. "How cute! I forgot how cute freshmen are." He giggled a little to his friend.

"You're right." One of his friends nodded along.

"Oh my bad! I'm Park Jimin." The boy next to him smiled at him. "This is Kim Taehyung, we're juniors, and those two are seniors."

"I'm Kim Namjoon, this is Jung Hoseok. I'm the student council president and a class president." He smiled at them before the group of them started to eat, conversing with one another.

Jungkook sort of wanted to disappear. A class president? He didn't belong here. Fuck, these were smart people, weren't they? Oh god no, he definitely didn't belong here. "Um I'm Jeon Jungkook...if you want the table alone...I can leave..." Jungkook spoke quietly to the kid next to him.

"Hm?" Jimin looked at him with a plain smile. "Why would we want you to leave? It's just lunch, no?" He laughed a little. "Why, are you waiting for some friends?"

"No..." Jungkook felt shy. He hadn't even touched his food yet.

Jimin nodded. He seemed to understand. "Then you can hang out with us! We don't mind."

"I- I don't really think I fit in..." Jungkook mumbled. He felt embarrassed now. "You're all s-smart, aren't you?"

Jimin giggled again. "Well, me and Namjoon hyung are. Taehyung's close. But that doesn't matter, does it?" His attention was now entirely on Jungkook.

Jungkook looked away. "Well...I feel out of place."

"Cause we're older? We can hang out during lunches just so you know." He kept his smile, leaning on his hand to look at Jungkook better.

"I- no, because I'm- sorry, it doesn't matter." Jungkook anxiously played with his hands. He hadn't really talked to anyone at school besides teachers concerned with his grades.

"What's your next class?"

"I don't know..." Jungkook mumbled, still too embarrassed to look at the elder. "I'm still getting used to the schedule..."

"There's no need to be nervous around us. Seriously, I won't bite." He smiled more at Jungkook.

"Oh, I'm just nervous. That's all." Jungkook tried to give a smile but it went away quickly. "...I think I might just skip it, I don't understand english..." he sighed a little.

"What? Oh no, don't give up already! You've barely started. Hey! I have an idea, how about I tutor you? It'll be good for both of us." Jimin smiled happily at him.

"W-why would you want to help? Really, I'm not going to be fun to teach..." Jungkook spoke quietly, still unable to make eye contact.

"I like helping! And I feel empathetic towards you, I can't imagine being new." He frowned a little before moving closer. "So why not? I can help you, you can hang out with us, and you can improve your grades!"

Jungkook looked at his lap. "I...you would really help me?"

"Of course! I'll get some tutoring experience and I'll help you. And I didn't know you didn't have anyone around, I thought your class was doing better than that." Jimin pouted a little. "Give me your number, I'll text you times we can meet up! We usually stay after school to study in the library. Or we can do it at lunch. Oh speaking of, you should eat! I'm sorry, I talked your ear off." He laughed before getting his phone out.

Jungkook got his phone out a little nervously, giving his contact to Jimin. "U-um I'm not sure when I'll be free, I just um..." Jungkook didn't know how to explain he was working too. "At school is the most time I have. I'm busy at home."

"Mm, alright. Well, I have a free hour in between classes but I'm certain you're not. Eat." Jimin smiled at him.

Jungkook gave him a glance before eating a little. "I'll just skip."

"Well you can't do better if you aren't in class." Jimin pouted at him. "Let's see...do you have your schedule on you? Let me take a look at it." Jungkook pulled it out and gave it to Jimin as he ate. "Ahhh, okay. My free time is this hour." He got a pencil out and circled the class. "So...let me talk to your teacher, maybe I can rearrange your schedule a little."

"You can do that?" Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes.

Jimin smiled and spoke quieter. "Well, I get my way. That's what's it's like to be a class president."

"You're one too?"

"Mhm! I'm good at school, so hopefully I can teach you how to be good at school too." He giggled again. "So! Let's try to meet up, okay? I'll have a talk with your teacher for that class, I'm sure they'll understand quickly. The teachers like me."

"You can really get me out of class?"

"Well, I will honestly tutor you though. Not just an out." Jimin laughed a little. Jungkook finished his food before nodding.

"That sounds hard. I'm not that smart..." Jungkook sighed. "I don't know if you'll really want to help me...um..." Jungkook wasn't sure what to call him.

"Call me hyung, don't worry." Jimin smiled, almost proud. "And I do want to help! However many days you need or want help, I'm free!"

"You're too kind hyung..." Jungkook felt shy. "I'll definitely disappointed you..."

"We'll work on it." Jimin put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "Don't feel bad! We'll just go through all you need."

Jimin's attention was redirected when he heard Taehyung talk to him, Jungkook wondering why he kept his hand on his shoulder.

"Oh shoot you're right! We have to go early for our presentation. Aw, well Jungkook, I'm sorry we have to go. But hey, we should eat lunch together!" Jimin took a picture of Jungkook's schedule. "I'll see you around Jungkook." Jimin got up and smiled at him, getting his bag.

The others nodded at Jungkook. "It was nice meeting you! If I wasn't starving I would've said more. Next time though!" Namjoon smiled at him and led the bunch away.

Jungkook had to admit it was really nice to have lunch with a group.

After that, school was boring, it was slow, and Jungkook wanted to figure out how to join taekwondo. He needed to know how much money it was first, before he could ask his parents. If he could start practicing this year he would be able to be better by next year! That was, if he was staying.

He sighed a little as he tried to find a way to learn more. There was usually a club leader, but...he was too shy.

He went home before starting on some homework, at least the homework he understood, before he had to get ready for his job. Just a small convenient store down the road, just a walk away from his house. His mother didn't want him to work too far.

He didn't mind, the night shift wasn't horrible. He took a school book that he needed to read and headed over, ready to have people tell him he was too young to be working. Like he had a choice...he had to pay for everything he wanted himself. School, clothes, extra food, or anything personal. His parents just did not make that much. They barely had enough to get him into this new school, and Jungkook wanted to try his damndest to not fuck it up again.

He didn't want to make his parents worry about his grades over and over. Maybe it was good that Jimin was willing to help.

Ah, Jimin. Jungkook thought about him as he worked. He looked really happy to help and have him around even after only one day of meeting him. Even after only maybe 20 minutes of meeting him! Maybe he was cute enough to have someone want to help him.

Jungkook shook his head a little as he worked. He restocked shit, he worked the counter a little, but mostly it was cleaning and sitting down to read his homework.

He was nearly done with his shift when someone came in. Jungkook kept reading, waiting for someone to come to the counter. The night shift was always very quiet.

"Oh Jungkook?" Jimin's soft voice made Jungkook look up.

"Jimin hyung? O-oh what- what are you..." he felt a little shame.

"Me and Taehyung live in the area." He set down two drinks. "I didn't know you worked." He pouted a little. "No wonder you can't get homework done, or have free time. When do you do homework?"

"Um...a day before? Or in c-class." Jungkook blushed in embarrassment as he beeped his drinks.

Jimin payed. "You almost done with your shift?"

"Yeah, but I've gotta head home." Jungkook still felt shame. "You know, eat dinner, get ready for school tomorrow."

"Aw, you can't hang out? I'd love to get to know you better." Jimin leaned on the counter.

"M-mm, I can't. Definitely can't." Jungkook felt embarrassed to be seen by another schoolmate. He didn't want people to know he was working...this school was rather high up and someone having a job was...well, it definitely proved he was poor.

"Aww, don't worry Jungkook! I don't think it's embarrassing, it just means you're willing to do what you have to do." He smiled happily. "You didn't respond to my texts today either, how could you Jungkook?" He teased, leaning closer.

"O-oh, did you text me? I'm sorry hyung, I've been busy." Jungkook looked down. Jimin was too close. "I'm not used to...checking my phone..."

"Oh you poor thing!" Jimin pouted again. "Then do you want me to keep you busy? I don't mind! I'm always happy to help. But you have to text back to be busy." He laughed a little. "Look at the text at least!"

Jungkook didn't understand how he was so chipper at 8pm, but he did check his phone.

Unknown
It's Jimin!!! Let's meet up tomorrow :)

Jungkook smiled a little at Jimin. "W-well, what um- when do you want to meet up tomorrow?"

"When you can. You don't have any breaks do you, mm, you're a freshman...let's see, I'll talk to your teacher tomorrow okay? So, lunch and hopefully right after lunch?"

"That sounds okay with me." Jungkook smiled a little more. "You're sure about helping me?"

"Of course! I always like helping new people, especially when they're so cute." He laughed, Jungkook pouting a little.

"I'm not cute."

"You're adorable." Jimin laughed again, his eyes glancing quickly to the back room door opening. Jungkook's manager came out.

"Jungkook-ah, you're supposed to be finishing up your shift by doing final cleanings, not chatting."

"Oh that's my bad, I'm sorry!" Jimin cheerfully laughed again, standing up so he was no longer leaning across the counter.

"Right, thank you for shopping here, please stop by again." The manager smiled and shot Jungkook a glance. He nodded.

Jungkook wasn't expecting to see Jimin glaring at the manager as he went back inside the room. He quickly shifted back to his cheerful self. "Well, I'll get going then. You sure you can't hang out?" Jimin leaned on the counter again.

"I-I'm sure." Jungkook blushed a little at the proximity.

"Aw, can I walk you home? It's quite late."

"N-no I should be fine, really." Jungkook laughed a little awkwardly. "I have to get home after I clean up a little here."

"Mmm, fine. But hey, I'm in the area so...whenever you're free, I'll hang out." Jimin smiled at him, then gave him a wink before standing up. "Well! Taehyung's probably waiting for his drink. See you at school tomorrow Jungkook." He smiled softly as he left.

Jungkook closed his book and packed his small bag before he started to clean up.

How did...he found it odd that he hadn't seen Jimin here before tonight even though he said he lived in the area. Jungkook had been working for multiple weeks, even before he'd started the new school, but this was the first time he'd seen him.

Eh, he brushed it aside and finished working.

The rest of his night was rather uneventful.

Jungkook was unused to power being so kindly abused. Jimin seemed to be amazing at that. He'd spent lunch with that group again, and Jimin had told him he'd already spoken to his teacher and that they could study together.

"You got permission?"

"Mhm! I'm in ap classes so they trust me to be able to tutor you. Besides...you definitely need one on one teaching instead of in a class." Jimin smiled at him as he led him to...a teachers lounge?

"Hyung? Why are we here?"

"Oh! I got permission to use this room, it's got nicer chairs." He smiled as he took Jungkook's bag off his shoulders and looked through the books he had. "It's not like they come in here while they have classes."

"O-oh gosh." Jungkook couldn't understand how much Jimin had under his control here. A powerful student was scary.

"Alright, what do you need the most help with?" Jimin looked through the textbooks.

"I- um- English and math...probably math cause I have more tests..." Jungkook sighed. "I'm really bad, I'm so sorry."

"No no! Don't feel bad, let's just work on it, mk?" Jimin's optimism made him feel better, as they started to work through the lessons Jungkook did need help on, and then on the ones that would be coming up on the new test. Jimin took notes of what Jungkook needed help with that were older.

"Why're you...doing so much? Oh no your notes are so nice..." Jungkook frowned a little. He saw Jimin's notebook with pretty handwriting and eligible notes.

"Cause! I'm ahead in my homework and I want to help you." He grinned at him quickly before he went back to writing notes for Jungkook. "It'll help I promise."

"Thank you for the help...I...do appreciate it." Jungkook looked down at his hands, embarrassed to be so dumb.

"Oh of course! I'll make some practice sheets for next time. Tomorrow we should work on English though."

"T-tomorrow?" Jungkook scooted a little closer to him.

"Mhm! I have this time with you every day you don't have a test! Isn't that lovely?" Jimin finished and packed his bag. "It'll be really helpful for you! Once a week just wasn't enough, your teacher wasn't very happy with me, but I got you out of that class. We never liked him anyways, he's not very good. Don't worry Jungkook, I'm going to get you to the top of your class." Jimin moved closer as well.

"Top of my class? Hyung, just not at the bottom would be nice." He laughed a little, covering his mouth. "I'm stupid, really, you shouldn't expect so much from me."

"Top of the class! We can do it. You've only got half a year, but I know those 50's and 60's can turn into 90's. You're not dumb, you just need a different education system! And if it's one on one tutoring well...I'll enjoy the time." Jimin smiled softly at him, Jungkook...unable to understand what he meant.

"M-maybe. I think...I might get sick of this. All this extra learning."

"Well, let's learn about each other instead. We still have some time before our next classes." Jimin relaxed in his chair, his attention fully on Jungkook. "I can go first! I'm Park Jimin, I'm a class president, and I'm a single child. I like singing and dancing and my new hobby is learning about you!"

Jungkook smiled a little, though he was unable to relax like Jimin was. "W-well I'm Jeon Jungkook, I'm a new freshman and I don't know anything apparently. U-um, I work at the convenience store a block from my house and I t-think I want to try taekeondo..." Jungkook felt embarrassed, but he also didn't know what else to share about himself.

"Oh that's a good idea! A club would be amazing for you, you'd definitely feel more included." Jimin nodded. "I can help you if you want?"

"I would like that." Jungkook nodded. "I'm too...shy..."

"Oh you sweet thing, it's not so scary here! Though I do understand. This is a big school of elitists." Jimin chuckled a little. "Let me walk you to your next class. I'll wait for you after your last class and we can go visit the club!"

"T-today?"

"Mhm! Though, how are you going to balance taekwondo and working? Club activities are after school you know."

"I have time after school for homework, I can just...not...do it..."

"Oh gosh, you're definitely not going to do well like that. Hey, since you're close to my house, are you free on the weekends? You can come over and we can do homework together! I think you need another person to keep you on track." Jimin smiled happily at the idea.

Jungkook was a little reluctant. "I- um- hyung...I work on the weekends too..."

Jimin nodded, putting his hand on his chin to think. "What exactly do you need to pay for?"

"U-um my lunch every day? O-or school expenses...I..." Jungkook sighed a little. It didn't seem like Jimin would make fun of him. "Hyung, my parents don't make much, so I have to take care of myself."

"Well worry no more Jungkook, I'll take care of you." Jimin ruffled Jungkook's hair. "Okay? It doesn't seem like this school has taken very well care of you, it is a busy time at the moment, but that's no excuse!"

"What- what do you mean?" Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes, leaning closer just a little. How could Jimin help him?

Jimin smiled at him. "I can always help!"

"But how?"

"Mm~ now that is an excellent question! Maybe one day you'll figure it out when you're a class president." Jimin booped Jungkook's nose before getting up. "Let me walk you to your next class, mk?"

Jungkook got up and collected his stuff. "Okay." He could go along with this, it was nice to have someone older and with status take care of him. "W-why are you helping me so much hyung?" Jungkook spoke quietly as they started walking.

"Well...you've got no one else helping you, and that's really disappointing. Besides, I like helping!"

"B-but you're really not getting anything out of this..." Jungkook felt bad. Jimin could be spending this time doing his own things.

"I'm hanging out with you, and I'm helping someone understand things. That's enough for me." Jimin hummed, putting his arm around Jungkook's shoulders. "Why're you so skeptical? This is a good school, I just want you to feel like you fit in."

"I don't think I'll ever feel that. I'm poor, and I'm stupid." Jungkook looked down.

Jimin tsk'd. "Well, all of that is changeable. First...let's focus on school and a club." They stopped in front of Jungkook's next class. "I'll stop by after your last class, okay? Just- stay at your desk, I'll come."

"...how do you know my schedule better than me hyung?" Jungkook smiled a little.

"I remember being a freshman!" Jimin laughed a little. "And...I took a picture of your schedule. Have fun in science~" Jimin waved as he walked away.

Jungkook sort of hid as students piled out of classes and waited with him for their next classes.

One student cleared their throat next to Jungkook. "Uh, hey, um...were you...hanging out with Jimin hyung?"

Jungkook turned to him. "Hm? Y-yes?"

"Oh, alright." He seemed a little...unsettled.

"Is there something wrong with that?"

"No no! We just...get some weird vibes off of him. You know? Kinda like he knows too much." The guy shrugged, one of his friends coming over too.

"Oh are you talking about Jimin hyung again? Seriously, he's a nice guy! Stop trying to spread rumors." He nudged his friend before putting his hand out to Jungkook. "Kim Yugyeom."

"Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook shook his head. "What's wrong with Jimin hyung?"

"Nothing, this guys just paranoid that everyone's out to get him." Yugyeom rolled his eyes as they got inside the class. "But that is quite lucky of you...he gets to do whatever he wants. Even as a junior. Once he's a senior..."

"What'll happen?"

"Well, the whole school will be his I guess. He's never gotten in trouble for anything." They sat next to each other, whispering to converse.

"I know he's fucked over peoples whole lives too. My hyung told me that one of his classmates stopped coming to school after Jimin hyung got him in trouble." The first guy shook his head. "And he said you do not want to see him angry..."

Jungkook looked between them. "What'll happen?"

"I don't know, but stop scaring him." Yugyeom shook his head at his friend. "But hey, if you want to eat lunch together we totally can! I know you've got similar classes with me so I'll try and sit next to you okay?"

"Sure! That sounds nice." Jungkook wanted more friends his age. Or any, actually.

"Alright class, let's get started!"

____

Jungkook was chatting with Yugyeom in his last class when Jimin peaked his head in. Jungkook smiled as he walked inside.

"Oh Jimin! I didn't know you were dropping by, it's so good to see you." The teacher stopped him, so Jungkook continued to talk with Yugyeom.

"You really have a whole tv to yourself?"

"Yeah! You wanna come over and watch something? We've got a ton of vhs's." Yugyeom sat back in his chair.

"Oh no, I can't, I'm so busy." Jungkook laughed a little. "If I could I would."

"Aww, alright. Let's trade numbers at least."

They did so, before Jimin walked over and smiled. "You ready to go check it out Jungkook?"

Jungkook frowned a little. "I- I am nervous..."

"Oh it'll be great. I'm glad you've gotten a friend today, Kim Yugyeom, correct?" Jimin eyed him with a smile.

Yugyeom nodded.

"I've heard good things only! Keep up the good work, and if you ever need a tutor well, I can ask someone to help you." Jimin looked back at Jungkook.

He got up, saying bye to Yugyeom before they left. "I- I have a question..."

"Yes?"

"Do you tutor anyone else?"

"N-no...I don't." Jimin laughed a little. "I can only handle one person, you know? And I'm very happy it's you."

Jungkook smiled a little. "How come?"

"You've got a spark in you. You're destined for good things." He laughed a little bit as he led them to club rooms.

They reached wherever they were supposed to be, Jimin knocking before going inside. "Hello~ is this where freshman can sign up for taekwondo?"

Jungkook saw a student look up at them. His face looked shocked before he nodded. "It is. Is...he considering joining?" He looked over at Jungkook.

"Mhm! Go ahead and get a paper Jungkook." Jimin pushed him forward. "And mmm, any payment you need at the moment I'll cover it okay?" He whispered as he shot the student a smile.

The student simply nodded. "So, what do you like about taekwondo?"

Jungkook started to fill out the paper. "Well...I think it looks really cool...and I think I would benefit from knowing how to defend and protect myself." He barely registered what Jimin had said. "W-wait hyung, I can pay for it m-myself-"

"Consider it a gift." Jimin smiled happily.

"Hyung, please." Jungkook frowned, as he wanted to care for himself. He didn't want to burden anyone else.

"Don't worry about it!" Jimin laughed.

Jungkook finished his application. "Is this all right?"

"Of course...Jeon Jungkook, yes?"

"Yes."

"Perfect. Well, welcome to the club!"

"I- I haven't even tried out-" Jungkook fret a little, but both Jimin and the captain shook their heads.

"No need. We'll teach you." He handed Jungkook a schedule. "Come tomorrow! Unless you'd like to watch us tonight?"

"Oh no, I can't tonight." Jungkook shook his head. "I'll be there tomorrow though! I promise." He smiled happily.

"Good! I think we all need the extra youth around." He chuckled, Jungkook getting up.

"Well t-thank you."

"No problem. See you tomorrow!"

Jungkook bowed before he left with Jimin. He immediately turned to him as they walked. "Hyung I can't let you pay that fee, I can really pay for it, I haven't even talked to my parents about it, I-"

"Calm down, hold on." Jimin smiled softly at him. "Take a deep breath."

Jungkook did, then slowly let it out.

"Good! Now, try again?"

"I can pay for it."

"Then it's a gift."

"I can- I-" Jungkook huffed in defeat. "I can do it."

"Hey. I don't mind spoiling you with something so small."

"That's not small." Jungkook pouted. "How could I ever repay you?"

"You can repay me," Jimin booped Jungkook's nose. "By coming over on the weekends."

"B-but I work hyung-"

"Then when you're free. You don't work all day, do you?"

"Well, no...I can...ask my parents?" Jungkook gave him a weak smile.

"Sure. I'd like to introduce myself to them."

"O-oh, um..." Jungkook sighed. "Hyung..."

"Hm?" Jimin walked him to the front gates. "Can I walk you home?"

"They aren't home most of the time." Jungkook felt embarrassed to share. "They both work night shifts."

Jimin nodded. "That's alright. I'll just meet them when I can." He nodded.

Jungkook smiled a little at how kind Jimin was to him. It could've been easy to instead abuse the hierarchy and drag Jungkook for being poor, but instead...Jimin just seemed to accept him. He was being kind and gracious and Jungkook wasn't expecting that.

He was actually a little suspicious because he wasn't used to anyone being nice to him. His old school was disgustingly rude to him, and he really didn't know how his parents could afford this school. They probably had to use a lot of their saved money- Jungkook felt like such a burden.

"Jungkook?"

"Hm?" Jungkook looked up at him.

"I asked if I could walk you home?"

"Oh...well, I guess since you live near there too, I don't mind." He was not going to be a burden again. He wasn't going to be a burden to Jimin.

"Perfect. Taehyung was going to join us but...his mom came and picked him up already." Jimin shrugged. "So! How's your first couple of weeks been?"

"Mmm...boring. I'm stupid so I haven't been having much fun, and, well...everyone can tell I'm poor...so I haven't been talked to that much..." Jungkook sighed a little. "Sorry, I mean, it's a really nice school, honestly, I'm just not that good at school."

"For one, you aren't stupid. And second, I'm very disappointed that people haven't been talking to just cause you can't get your clothes ironed." Jimin frowned a little bit. "Maybe I should have a word with all your teachers. They aren't helping you much at all." He sighed in disappointment. "They should all be doing so much better."

"It's alright...I- I get it." Jungkook nodded. He was used to it.

"Mmm, I won't accept it." Jimin shook his head. "You deserve help because you're a student like all of us. You wear the same uniform, you have the same hope for a good future." Jimin ruffled his hair again. "Besides...if anything, there's more future for you than for me."

"What? No way! I'll never be a class president or anything academic. I'm- I can barely even afford food every day, there's no way I'm more promising than you." Jungkook looked up at him before looking away. "You're perfect."

"You think I'm perfect?" Jimin blushed a little in pride. "How perfect?"

Jungkook pouted a little. "You're smart, you're handsome, people like you...you have money..." Jungkook sighed. "That's all more than I'll ever have."

"You're cute, and I think you've got a lot of talent. You're a quick learner Jungkook. Besides, you've only been here for a tiny bit, people will warm up to you." Jimin giggled. "Okay?"

"Mm...I'll...try to be hopeful. I want to be."

"Good!" Jimin bumped their shoulders together. "You should try, mindset makes everything."

"What is your mindset?" Jungkook looked at him.

"Do the best I can today." Jimin smiled at him. "And if that's 110% then perfect! If one day it's only 60% then that's what I can do that day."

"Huh." Jungkook nodded. "That's really nice."

"Mhm!"

They arrived at Jungkook's house, Jimin smiling at it.

"It looks nice."

"It's fine." Jungkook shrugged. "I'm...thanks for walking me home hyung..."

"No problem! I liked it. Usually I hitch a ride with Taehyung but I wanted to walk you home today." Jimin smiled wide. "Anytime you want, I'm sure Taehyung's mom wouldn't mind taking you home too! Since we're all close by, you know?"

"I- I wouldn't want-"

"It's not out of the way. We'd have to squeeze into the back though it's a small car. Not that I mind." Jimin smiled happily.

Jungkook rubbed his arm nervously. "W-well, I don't really know him yet so, I'd f-feel awkward..."

"I'll ask! And seriously, I understand you being shy. Do you mind that I'm making a lot of decisions? I should've asked before." Jimin looked a little apologetic. "I'm just used to getting things done."

"I don't mind...it's kinda nice actually." Jungkook smiled as he inched towards his door. "Um...do you...want to come in?"

"Am I allowed? I wouldn't want to come uninvited." Jimin shook his head. "Any parent home?"

"Not at the moment, no. But you'll leave before they even get home so it's fine." Jungkook unlocked the door and opened it for him. "So?"

"Well, since you've asked so nicely." Jimin smiled and went inside.

Jungkook brought him to his room after they took their shoes off, sitting at his desk and unpacking his bag. "It's not much but...well, it's nice."

"Oh don't worry, I'm not here to make you feel bad." Jimin leaned over his shoulder. "You gunna do homework? I can help."

"Well...I was thinking about it but I feel bad since you're a guest." Jungkook looked at Jimin for a second before looking at this textbooks. "I'm really behind though..."

"It's only been a couple weeks..."

"I have to practically learn my whole math book, I'm already going to fail English-"

"Woah woah woah, where did the optimism go?" Jimin put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "I can help you study or do homework right now."

"Don't you have your own work to do?" Jungkook looked up at him with wide eyes. He felt bad for needing so much help.

"Nope! I finished at school. All I have are club activity responsibilities." Jimin got a little closer to Jungkook as they both looked at Jungkook's list of missing work. "But Namjoon hyung has it covered for the moment. We're in the same club. He's actually the president of the student council, I'm just a helper, but he calls me his vice president." Jimin laughed.

"What?! That's insane! Aren't only like, the top 5% percent allowed to even join?" Jungkook whipped his head towards Jimin, blushing a little as he realized how close they were. He quickly looked back at his desk.

"Mhm!" Jimin smiled at him, leaning against his desk and crossing his arms. "It's my pride to be good at school. I want everyone to know me. I want to be the president after Namjoon hyung, but they usually only allow seniors."

"I think you're smart enough...why wouldn't you be able to change the rules? Seems like you're good enough to do that." Jungkook smiled a little. "Why're you hanging out with me?"

"What, you think a student council member and a freshman can't hang out?" Jimin ruffled his hair again. "I like you, I want to be your friend."

"Oh...I guess that's fine, yeah." Jungkook hadn't really thought of it as them simply being friends. Why couldn't he be friends with his tutor? That's actually normal, why was he so paranoid? Just cause someone was being nice to him? "Sorry, I'm just not used to it. I'm not used to people being just nice."

"I'm sorry you've been through that. But I mean it when I say I want to be your friend." Jimin smiled softly at him. "Hey. I know what it's like to be disliked. I'm disliked every day. I just...don't want someone else to feel that pain." Jimin's eyes softened, and Jungkook felt like he was seeing a much less shielded part of him.

For the first time he'd met him...this was the first time he'd actually trusted Jimin.

He nodded. Jimin wasn't lying about that.

"Thank you."

"Of course Jungkook." Jimin smiled.

____

Jungkook quickly got used to studying and getting tutored by Jimin. They spent an hour every day during school, and about two hours on the weekends at Jimin's house. He spent his after school hours at taekwondo, his parents telling him about a call they got from the Park family about some paid expenses, while he still went to his part time job.

He had to admit, with the end of his freshmen year coming, he was afraid of finals. He'd gotten some friends, yet most of his time was spent with Jimin. He walked him to classes when he could, and Jungkook noticed that people pretty much stayed away when Jimin was around.

He didn't mind though, it was actually nice to have people give him...mm, more afraid glances than rude ones. The comments he'd hear were all but gone when Jimin was around.

"You'll do fine." Jimin reassured him as he walked Jungkook to his first final. "You've been studying hard, you're prepped, you're smart, and I don't think you can get worse than a 70 okay? You're aiming for 80, right?"

"Aiming but-"

"No buts! You'll doubt yourself." Jimin shook his head. "Okay?"

"Okay!" Jungkook smiled at him, nodding. "I'll get an 80."

"Good. Now go get it, you've got this." Jimin spoke quietly and put his hand out for a fist bump.

Jungkook returned the gesture, fist bumping him softly before going to his class. It was nice...to be friendly with Jimin. It felt good and rewarding to have a friend who was actually there for him. All the time! Jimin was always there and he finally felt like...he could depend on someone.

And that? Oh...that was new. That was nice.

The test went by much faster than he thought it would, and the rest of the morning was tests. The bell for lunch made Jungkook sigh in relief. He walked with Yugyeom and a couple others.

"Are you gunna sit with us today?" Yugyeom nudged him as they walked to the cafeteria.

"Mm...depends if Jimin hyung is gunna be there today. Sometimes he has club responsibilities during lunch."

"Ah, alright." He nodded and gave almost a nervous smile.

"What's up with that?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow to tease him.

"It's really nothing, Jimin hyung is just a little scary."

Jungkook shrugged. "He's nice. I've never seen him be scary." He'd seen him glare once but that'd been about it. "He's always smiling, and he's really considerate. What about him is scary?"

"He's just got...that look. That like, "don't fuck it up" look you know?" He tried to explain it but he could tell Jungkook didn't get it. "Okay, to be more specific, if I even barely hurt your feelings I feel like he'd find me."

"Oh. So...he's scary cause he's protective of me?" Jungkook smiled a little.

"I-" Yugyeom shrugged. "Yeah sure that's a simple way."

"Makes sense! He promised he'd take care of me." They got to the cafeteria, Jungkook seeing Jimin and the others in their spot. "Alright, I'll see you next class." Jungkook smiled at him as he went over to Jimin.

He sat next to him with a smile.

"Oh perfect! How'd it go?" Jimin took multiple boxes out of his bag, passing them around. "My caretaker made these for everyone since it's finals week."

"It felt pretty good. Thank you hyung." Jungkook smiled as he took a box.

"Good! I think I aced it." Namjoon smiled as he got his box. "How'd you think you did Hoseok?"

Hoseok shook his head. "I should've studied more."

"Fuck I feel that." Taehyung sighed as well. "I still think I did good."

"Good! Im glad everyone felt good, sorry Hoseok hyung, but hey, summers just around the corner. What's the plan for everyone?" Jimin happily ate.

Jungkook noticed his own meal was different from the others. His had an animal shaped rice ball while everyone else didn't. He glanced at Jimin who gave him a small smile before looking back at the others. Jungkook smiled a little to himself.

"I'm going to my grandparents farm." Taehyung smiled. "Any of you are welcome, it's a lot of work though."

"Ah, I wish I could. My moms taking us to Japan to see a few relatives." Namjoon sighed. "So I can't even hang out with Jin hyung this summer."

"Loser. I'll be around guys! Half though. Yoongi hyung is gunna spend some of the summer with me, and then I'm gunna spend the other half at his house."

"Well, I'm staying." Jungkook shrugged. He never had summer plans.

"Mm, me too." Jimin nodded with a smile.

"Are your uh...parents not?..." Taehyung didn't finish the sentence.

"No..." Jimin sighed a little. "They're still uh, out of country. It's fine, I mean, I'm fine with my caretaker, she's really nice. Besides, now I can spend the summer with Jungkook." Jimin smiled at Jungkook again.

Jungkook smiled back. "That would be nice..."

"Aww, no farm work this year Jimin?" Taehyung teased him.

"I think if I went again I'd have to become an amputee." Jimin shook his head as Taehyung laughed. "My arms hurt so bad, I- I don't know how you can do it every summer."

"It's good for me! Clean air, more muscles, tanner, there's nothing bad."

"Hard labor, back pain, dirty nails..." Jimin shook his head. "Not a good payoff."

"Pansy."

"Oh please." Jimin frowned. "I'm not here to get dirty."

Taehyung sighed. "It's fun, really."

"Mhm." Jimin shook his head with a smile.

Jungkook finished his meal first, the others talking here and there before Jimin packed everything up.

"Let me walk you to your next class." Jimin smiled at Jungkook.

"Ah, alright. I think this one will be bad." Jungkook got up and started walking with Jimin.

"If you get above an 80...I'll treat you." Jimin smiled mischievously.

"To?"

"That'll be a secret. Gotta get a good score first." Jimin laughed as they got to his classroom. "Do your best!"

"O-okay!" Jungkook smiled shyly as he went inside.

The rest of the day felt more like labor than testing. He hated tests but...he kind of wanted to do well for Jimin. He blushed a little before shaking his head and focusing.

He waited in his classroom for Jimin to come walk him home. He really wanted to see his name on the wall this time. Previous years he never did but...now...now he really wanted to see himself do better than before.

Jimin peaked his head inside. "Jungkookie! Ready to go?"

"Mhm." Jungkook got up, the teacher calling them both over. "Yes?"

"I just wanted to thank you Jimin for helping Jungkook with his studies." The teacher sighed. "I thought that maybe he was going to need one on one tutoring with more advanced students or perhaps a teacher but you're skillful. So congrats to both of you, I'm very proud of you Jungkook." She nodded at them both.

"Aw, thank you! If I had more free time I'd ask to take him away even more." Jimin laughed, but the teacher gave a small smile.

Why did people react like that?

"Have a nice summer boys."

"We will!" Jimin laughed happily as they walked off. "She's sweet, isn't she?"

"Why do people do that around you hyung? They seem nervous around you, even like, even your seniors." Jungkook finally asked.

"Oh, well, my dads kind of the money behind the school. Call me what you want, but I get what I want." Jimin laughed. "So...you know...I get what I want in most ways." He smiled at Jungkook...a little differently.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook blushed a tiny bit. It's not like he was interested in Jimin or anything. Definitely not.

"Mm, maybe you'll get it one day." Jimin laughed.

"W-wait why didn't you tell me before?!" Jungkook shook his head. "I thought you were just smart, you're special too?"

Jimin laughed again. "Well, I didn't want to scare you."

"...so...is it about the school image?" Jungkook pouted.

"What?" Jimin looked at him with actual concern.

"Well, I still can't really understand why you would be around me." Jungkook looked down as the two of them walked home. Taehyung was already gone today sadly, so no ride home. "But it makes sense if you don't want the school image to look bad because of someone stupid."

Jimin stopped walking and grabbed Jungkook's bicep. "Stop that! You're not stupid. And I didn't help you cause of the school, I'm helping you cause I like you." Jimin frowned. "I don't know what's happened in your past, but I'm being honest when I say I like you." Jimin shook his head before letting go of his arm quickly. He blushed and looked away. "Sorry, I just- I don't want you to think that I'm not being honest with you."

Jungkook looked down. "...I...I want to believe you."

"How can I make you believe me?"

"I don't know...it's just...odd. I'm just not used to it." Jungkook felt a little bad. Jimin was being kind and honest, he'd been only that. But Jungkook still wasn't used to it, even though it'd been half a school year. He wasn't used to people being kind to him.

"Then I'll make you realize it." Jimin frowned. "You should come over during summer every day you can. I'll be free every day, and maybe I can even take you out! My caretaker would drive us. We could go to the beach, restaurants, anywhere Jungkook, anywhere." Jimin looked almost...desperate.

And Jungkook finally understood as he looked up at him.

"You're lonely."

Jimin blushed more...before his eyes started to water.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm-" Jungkook panicked as Jimin nodded his head.

"It's okay I just..." he wiped his eyes. "You're right...I just...you're right. I am. And I want to be someone you w-want to be by. If I can make myself important to you, you won't leave, right?" Jimin looked at him with watery eyes before closing them and rubbing his eyes again.

"Hyung...that's...you can force me to like you. Have you been honest with me?"

"I have, I haven't- I haven't lied about anything. I really like you. I like being around you, I like making you happy." Jimin shook his head. "I'm sorry that I've been...well...manipulative. I just wanted you to want to be around me."

"Well...I guess I understand. Cause I'm lonely too." Jungkook moved a little closer. "So...I forgive you."

Jimin smiled at him a little before wiping his eyes again. "Um since you don't have taekwondo today will you come over?"

"I have work..."

"Even for just the couple hours you have free?" Jimin pouted. "Please. I'd like for you to come over."

"Yeah sure. I can do that."

"I'll even walk you to work, okay?" Jimin smiled and started walking again, Jungkook following.

"Ah, you really don't have to..." Jungkook was still shy about Jimin walking him. It felt very...boyfriend ish since that's mostly all Jungkook knew about dating. Guys always walked their girlfriends to places so they could be safer and have more time together.

"I like walking you, it makes me feel better." Jimin smiled at him.

"I'm really sorry for making you cry."

"No, don't apologize, I'm quick to cry. It's just...summer is always very lonely for me. Taehyung leaves, Namjoon hyung leaves, and Hoseok hyung is always busy. He's got cool dance classes all through summer, and I just...have myself. Me and my caretaker and it...I'm looking forward to sharing the summer with you." Jimin smiled more at him.

"I'm...looking forward to it as well. I haven't spent a good summer before." Jungkook smiled back at him.

They got to Jimin's house, Jimin taking them to his room after saying hello to his caretaker.

Jungkook set his bag down and rubbed his arm anxiously. "Um...hyung, can I give you a hug? I feel bad for making you cry."

"Oh of course! I like hugs." Jimin set his own bag down before holding his arms open for Jungkook. Jungkook shyly went over and hugged him, Jimin hugging him softly. "Thank you for caring Jungkook...it's really nice."

"Well...I...I understand you. I know what it's like to be lonely during summer. Well, all the time. I know what it's like to have your parents gone all the time. I see my dad in the mornings and I see my mom at night before we all go to bed to start it all over again." Jungkook held Jimin close. "No one should go through it...but we're on different ends hyung."

"Jungkook...I want to be there for you."

"Hyung...you already are." Jungkook smiled at him as he pulled away from the hug.

Jimin smiled back. "You're right. I'll be even more here for you okay? Let's have a not lonely summer together."

Jungkook laughed. "Yeah, alright."

Jungkook had to say...it was really nice to have someone by him.

____

Jungkook wondered what it was going to be like to have friends that were mainly seniors. Summer was halfway done, and he wasn't really sure what to do about that. He remembered that Namjoon and Hoseok were both very busy as seniors, so...wouldn't Jimin be busy too?

He was relaxing on his bed when he got a text from Jimin.

Jimin
Hey, can you come over?

Jungkook checked the time. He still had a couple more hours before his shift, so he headed over. He was quite used to the walk now.

Jimin's caretaker opened the door for him.

"Lovely to see you again Jungkook." She spoke softly to him as Jungkook took off his shoes. "He's been in his room all day, won't even let me in to bring him lunch. Will you take something up for me?"

"Oh, sure." Jungkook was a little concerned now. "Is he okay?"

"I'm not sure but he asked me not to bother him for the rest of the day." She shook her head. "He lets you in though, so please...take care of him?"

Jungkook nodded. "Sure. Do you have a meal already ready? I'll take it up for him." He followed her to the kitchen.

"Of course. Thank you Jungkook." She smiled and handed a tray to him.

"It's no problem." He smiled back as he headed upstairs to Jimin's room. He knocked quietly. "Hyung?"

The door opened quickly. "You came!" He pulled Jungkook inside, seeing the tray of food. "Ah, I- yeah. You can just set it on my desk, I'm not hungry right now." He went back to his bed, laying down.

"Are- are you okay hyung? Your caregiver said you haven't been out of your room..." Jungkook set the tray down before sitting on the bed next to Jimin.

"...I had an argument with Taehyung over the phone this morning." Jimin sighed. "He said some mean shit and I said mean shit back and I just feel bad now." He crossed his arms and laid down on them. "So I feel bad and I know he feels bad but I don't think I'm wrong in this situation."

"What did you two arguing about?"

"About dating." Jimin sighed.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "You like someone?"

"Mhm. And Taehyung said it's a bad idea." Jimin mumbled.

"W-wait you didn't tell me you liked someone." Jungkook felt a little disappointed. Wasn't he a good friend? Who could it be? How were they better than himself? Who did he have to compete with to keep Jimin by his side?

"Well...cause it's different this time." Jimin looked at him with a slight blush. "And I'm just thinking over everything. What if I ask and things go wrong? What if I ask and they hate me? What if I ask and they say yes? Would I be good enough? Can I be good enough?"

Jungkook liked being one of the only ones to see this side of Jimin. Honest, soft, and...still a kid. He liked when Jimin showed his emotions on his sleeve. "You're amazing hyung...I don't think anyone could say no to you. A-and even if you don't know if you'll be good yet, surely you can practice!"

"I have been." Jimin pouted. "They didn't notice."

Jungkook thought about it for a moment. Who the hell did Jimin even know or hang out with? He was with him most of the time.

"W-well then why was Taehyung hyung mad?" Jungkook looked at Jimin, still trying to figure it all out.

"Cause...he said I shouldn't try to date someone younger than me. Especially since I'll be a senior next year."

"But- but- well, not too much younger right? Otherwise I'd have to agree with him."

"No no, only two years." Jimin sighed. "But Taehyung said I'll only hurt them if I start now. Even though I just want to give them everything in the world." Jimin sighed again, this time more dreamily as he looked at Jungkook. "Wouldn't that be nice?"

"Well who is it?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with wide eyes.

"I'm thinking maybe Taehyung was right and I should let it go."

"Why? Shouldn't you try? If you truly like someone well...maybe it's good to try or practice."

"Mk." Jimin sat up with a smile. "I like you Jungkook."

"Not on me, I mean practice knowing how to date." Jungkook smiled and shook his head.

Jimin laughed a little. "I like you Jungkook."

Jungkook's smile faded. "What?"

Jimin looked down, his smile a little painful now. "I like you. I thought you'd figure it out by how much time we spend together but...but I'm thinking Taehyung's right. You're my friend. I'm your senior. Maybe I should just...continue to only be those things."

Jungkook's chest tightened. "Seriously?"

"You can call me what you want, I don't care. Just don't ridicule me for having feelings." Jimin put his hands on his knees. "You really don't have to do anything Jungkook I just...well I thought maybe I had a chance."

"I..." Jungkook was in shock. Was...was it normal to like guys? Was it okay? He hadn't seen anything about two guys dating before. "Can two boys even do that?"

Jimin looked at him in intrigue. "...yeah. Boys do it all the time but they hide it. Girls do it too. They date other girls. There's some hidden couples at school, and I understand that we'd have to be, well, under the radar as well, but I- I'll take good care of you Jungkook. You don't have to say anything though." Jimin shook his head. "Really-"

"I want to try." Jungkook decided. He decided. He didn't want anyone else to know Jimin like he could. Like he would. Maybe he was jealous, maybe he felt a little possessive, but...well, he did admire Jimin. And he thought he was cute. They were both so young though- he'd have to hide that from his parents- he'd have to be a little more careful...but...

Jimin would take care of him.

"Really?" Jimin's entire face lit up. "You mean it?"

"Y-yeah, I do. I mean it." Jungkook blushed a little. "B-but I don't know anything so please...take care of me."

"Mmm~ don't worry your cute little head, I'll take care of you." Jimin smiled wide before hugging him into the bed and laughing. "Oh gosh I'm going to get an earful from Taehyung."

"Well, he can call me too."

"Too cute! Oh god how am I going to keep my hands off of you now?" Jimin laughed again. "You're too cute!"

Jungkook blushed a little. "I'm not cute."

"That's a lie! You haven't see yourself." Jimin held him close. "I'm going to take good care of you."

____

Jungkook got used to being with Jimin. It felt the exact same except for when he went home with Jimin. If anything, he just got a little closer to him, got a little more affectionate with him, got a little more comfortable around him.

Dating a senior though...that's what changed things. Jungkook had a little more...status now. People realized that he was around Jimin permanently and that alone made people treat him differently. No rude comments, no odd glances, nothing at all anymore. It was lovely. School was hard, but he still had his tutor hour with Jimin, which, sometimes, ended up as a session of making out.

It was definitely nicer than his first year.

His parents got more stable jobs, and he was even able to quit his own!

The only time he started to have some trouble was when Jimin graduated.

It was the summer right after Jimin's graduation, Jungkook spending the night at his house.

Jimin was laying on Jungkook's chest while they watched something on tv.

"Hey Jungkook?"

"Mhm?"

"...my dad called me today..." Jimin sat up a little to look at Jungkook.

"Oh? That's the first time in a while." Jungkook rubbed Jimin's back. "How'd it go?"

"...he asked me to work for him. Or at least join him in his travels and I'm not sure I want to. I'd have to move."

"Oh..." Jungkook's face fell. "But, it would be a good experience, wouldn't it? Shouldn't you take it?"

"I don't know...I think I'd miss you and Taehyung too much. I don't know if I'd have fun you know?" Jimin kissed him softly. "I like being here with you."

"Mm, but I've still got two more years of high school. That's a good time for you to experience something like that." Jungkook smiled a little at him. "I don't want to hold you back."

"Mmm..." Jimin sighed. "That's what Taehyung said too. You two are too similar in saying what I don't want to hear. How cruel." Jimin hit his chest softly. "You really think I should go?"

"I mean...yeah. Maybe you can finally get some quality time with your parents too, instead of mooching off of mine." Jungkook laughed a little. "Not that they mind."

"Yeah...I haven't seen them in years..." Jimin pouted. "But I'll miss you. I won't be here at all if I'm traveling with them."

"I can take care of myself Jiminie. You know I'll be alright." Jungkook smiled. "I'll just have to see you in the summer...maybe...? When uh, when would you be back?"

"I'm not sure. I have no idea actually cause my dad travels throughout the whole year...so I don't know. I know it would be nice but...I'd want you to join me you know?"

"Pshh, I know I have to finish high school. Mm, it'll be hard without a tutor...I might have to get another one..." Jungkook thought about it, but Jimin glared.

"You can call me."

Jungkook laughed. "Why, are you jealous?" He smiled at Jimin. "Don't worry Jiminie, I'd never even consider looking at someone else. Okay? I just need help in school." Jungkook switched their positions, hovering over Jimin now. His taekwondo lessons were coming in handy.

Jimin blushed under him. "O-oh I- I do get jealous cause i-if I'm not there then maybe someone will try something." He looked to the side, before covering his face as he got more red. "Since when could you pick me up?"

"Mmm~ I've gotten stronger! Isn't it nice?" Jungkook kissed his forehead.

Jimin nodded. "It's fucked up, that's what it is. I can't...I- Jungkook you're too strong for your age." Jimin laughed a little.

"I'll only get stronger while you're gone~ and then when you see me I'll seriously be able to pick you up." Jungkook smiled down at him, before straddling him. He tried to get Jimin's hands off his face. Jimin fought him. "Aww, come on look at me~"

"Why should I?"

"Cause you're cute!"

"It's totally unfair, you're supposed to be the cute one but you're losing your baby fat before I am!" Jimin kept fighting him before Jungkook used his strength. It was an easy fight after that. Jungkook looked down at a blushing Jimin. "It's unfair."

"Awww, don't worry, I'm sure you'll catch up." Jungkook teased him before kissing him.

"Still unfair. You really think I should do it?"

"Yeah." Jungkook smiled at him. "Yeah, it'll be really good for you to have some adventure and time with your parents. Don't you think?"

"Yeah...it sounds nice...but I'll miss you." Jimin pouted a little. "I've gotten too used to you."

"Perhaps you have. Maybe you need a little getaway. Though I will miss you too." Jungkook smiled softly at him. "But it'll be nice to see if you like it, you know? It's a good chance."

"Ah...yeah...I'm kind of scared to leave though." Jimin sighed a little. "I'm scared. What if my dad doesn't like me? Or- or what if he...Jungkook, my dad hasn't been an amazing person." Jimin frowned. "I know I told you most of it, but you know why I live alone. I don't think...he'll accept me. Or you. Or us."

"Well...I guess the best you can do is try." Jungkook tried to reassure him.

"You're cute." Jimin smiled at him. "I can try."

"Good."

____

Jungkook and Taehyung saw Jimin off.

"You have everything?" Taehyung checked Jimin's bag again.

"I'm pretty sure."

"Warm clothes?"

"Mhm." Jimin smiled.

"And you have your birthday gifts right?" Jungkook helped Taehyung look. "And your passport?"

"Yes I have those things."

"And you have enough clothes? This doesn't seem like much." Taehyung showed concern. "Formal clothes?"

"I can always buy more." Jimin teased them, the both of them rolling their eyes.

"Okay okay, fine. You're ready to go, we're just..." Taehyung faltered, Jungkook looking down. "We're gunna miss you Jimin."

"We're gunna miss you a lot."

"I'll be back." Jimin promised. "I'll be back with souvenirs and lots of hugs."

"Still don't know how long you'll be gone?" Jungkook looked up at him a little.

"No, I don't. We'll see, but I might come back during the summer and then leave again." Jimin pouted a little and his eyes started to water.

"Ahhh, don't worry it's okay, we'll be okay." Taehyung pulled Jimin into a hug, then pulled Jungkook into the hug as well.

"Yeah, we'll be okay." Jungkook hugged Jimin, hearing him sniff. "We'll be okay."

"I'm gunna miss you guys..." Jimin sniffed again, hiding his face in their hug.

"Hey, we'll be right here when you come back." Taehyung reassured him. "Okay? And we're gunna be calling you and texting."

Jimin nodded. "I- I know but I'm- I'm gunna be sad without you two..."

"Taehyung's right Jimin. We'll be right here when you're back." Jungkook smiled. He'd miss Jimin, but hey...it wasn't forever.

"Right." Jimin collected himself. "Okay. Okay, I have to go. I'll...see you guys when I come back." Jimin took a shaky breath before letting it out. "Okay. Okay, I have to go before I never went to leave."

"Okay." Taehyung smiled at him.

"One more hug." Jimin hugged Taehyung tightly, before hugging Jungkook tightly. He looked around and kissed Jungkook on the cheek. "Okay. I'll...see you guys."

"Bye Jimin."

"Bye Jimin." Jungkook smiled at him.

Jimin went onto the train.

Taehyung put his arm around Jungkook. "You can always hang out with me, okay? I'll still be around until I head to college. And even then, you can always stop by or spend the night. I'm here for you okay?"

"Mmm...thank you hyung. I really appreciate it, I think I'll...take your offer next summer to help on the farm." Jungkook smiled a little. "I think it'll be good for me to not be alone during summer."

"I won't force you, but I think my grandparents would love the help." Taehyung smiled. "And Jimin will definitely notice the tan you'd get."

"Oh come on." Jungkook blushed a little. "I want to surprise him. I want to look different when he comes back you know? I think with another year of taekwondo plus a summer on the farm will definitely help."

"Oh definitely." Taehyung started to walk them back to his car. "I'll help you transform, you're going to look so fucking hot when he comes back."

Jungkook laughed. "Oh yeah?"

"Oh yeah."

Taehyung drove him home, Jungkook heading inside and seeing his parents.

"Oh hey! I didn't think you guys would be home so soon." Jungkook took off his shoes as he saw his parents in the living room.

"Actually Jungkook...we were wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner?" His mother smiled wide.

"What?" Jungkook looked between them before wondering how they had enough for a meal like that. "For real? We don't have to, I'm- I'm sure-"

"Jungkook...we...sort of payed off the house. Well." His father looked at his mother for a second before looking back at Jungkook. "Someone payed off the house. With such a kind gift...we should celebrate."

"What?! That's crazy, that's- that's so awesome!" Jungkook smiled wide. He'd never lived without debt. He hadn't lived without worrying about money, or jobs, or expenses. He only hadn't worried as much since he'd met Jimin, truly, he was an angel sent from heaven for him.

They did celebrate with a meal out at a real restaurant with good food and Jungkook...felt good.

He felt good.

____

Jungkook got used to being alone again. He had Yugyeom at school, but he didn't have Taehyung or Jimin around to make him laugh and feel good. Taehyung drove down sometimes for a meal together, but he was a busy college student and Jungkook was now a busy senior.

Jimin hadn't been able to visit in the summer.

He'd had to sit with that for a while, but he simply went to Taehyung's farmhouse and worked it off. Jimin seemed to be having fun and he didn't want to damped that.

But he did hate school. He was bored and tired all the time and he just- he didn't like his new tutor that much and he felt dumb and he totally skipped classes all the time. Jimin would've been disappointed, but...

He sat outside the school, playing on his phone when a couple student came up to him. "Jungkook! Jungkook, Yugyeom got in trouble with some other guys, please help!"

Jungkook immediately got up and followed them. "What happened?" He was alarmed. Yugyeom usually wasn't this stupid.

The student led him to an open area with no one around but Yugyeom and two other students backing him up.

Jungkook ran over and got in between them, pushing Yugyeom behind him. "So! What're you all doing?"

"Fuck off Jungkook, that bitch humiliated us in class." One of them glared.

"Oh Yugyeom? He would never!" Jungkook laughed a little rudely. "Besides, if he did something I'm sure he meant it, he's not stupid."

"Jungkook, seriously." Yugyeom spoke quietly.

Jungkook shot him a glance before looking back at the two and crossing his arms. "How about we all just apologize? Then we can go back inside and pretend nothing happened."

"I have nothing to apologize for." One of the guys shook his head.

"You two are assholes, you have to stop making the girls feel uncomfortable!" Yugyeom yelled at them. "You can't keep lifting their skirts while they walk by, I'll fucking fight you next time you do it!"

Jungkook glared at them. "So...once I'm not in class...you're going off and doing this?" He raised an eyebrow. "Maybe I should just get you suspended for a while. Or, spice it up, when was the last time someone had to be expelled?"

"You can't do shit, there's nothing except this fuckin' tattletales story." They sneered a little.

"Plus the girls' perspectives." Yugyeom glared at them. "Be better."

Jungkook looked at the two of them. "So. Are you going to be better?"

"Fuck off, for real Jungkook. Stop being such a bitch about it." They simply glared back.

Jungkook uncrossed his arms and started walked towards them. He put his hand on their shoulders before whispering. "...I'll give you one day, or I'm telling Jimin. I'm sure you know him, and I'm sure you realize that I don't fuck around when it comes to respect." He let go of their shoulders and kept walking. "Come on Yugyeom! We've got clubs soon."

Yugyeom sidled up to him. "...thanks Jungkook. I thought I'd just tell them to stop but I mean, they're dicks, I should've known they weren't afraid to throw a punch."

"Did they punch you?" Jungkook looked at him in concern.

"Ahhh, no, no, but they threatened." Yugyeom shook his head. "...I would've hit back."

"Then I'm glad I stopped that. Sorry I'm not in that class. Do they do that in our other classes? I'm usually asleep I'm sorry."

"If they get there early yeah. It's horrible, that shits traumatizing! It happened to my friends sister and when he told me they were from my class...I swear it made me so angry." Yugyeom punched the air. "God! That shit sucks."

"Yeah...sorry I haven't been around much. Schools boring."

"Sorry to make you use your Jimin hyung card."

"Ahhh, no it's fun." Jungkook laughed. "Everyone gets so serious when they realize I'm friends with Jimin."

"Haha, you're still calling him your friend?" Yugyeom teased him. "No one would say shit if you seriously called him your boyfriend you know. People can't touch you cause of him."

"Isn't that nice?" Jungkook smiled at him. "Should go to you too, but I think those two are just idiots. I'm actually not giving them a chance by the way, I'm calling Jimin tonight anyways."

Yugyeom laughed. "Yeah, I thought so. They won't change, but it'll be a good lesson."

"Mhm! I don't stand for that shit either, thanks for being a good guy."

"Aww, how kind of you."

"Oh shut up. Alright I'll see you tomorrow, I'll actually go to school." Jungkook laughed as he went to taekwondo.

He loved it. He loved being the captain of the club, having worked hard his high school years and having even competed as a first year. His hyungs here had been a huge help and now he was the hyung.

They were preparing for the spring tournament at the moment, so Jungkook was intensely serious. He really wanted this win this time and that's exactly what he got.

The rest of the year was quick; hard school, hard tests, hard training, hard workouts. Jungkook felt good about himself as he graduated, even though he'd missed a lot of school, and he didn't do as amazing as he had when Jimin was here.

Jimin was still proud of him though.

"Jungkook! Oh Jungkook it's so wonderful, I have good news!" Jimin sounded happy through the phone. "I wanted to come down so I could celebrate your graduation, but I'll be coming down soon!" He laughed excitedly.

"Really?! For real?!" Jungkook stood from his bed. "You mean it? You're not pulling my chain?"

"I mean it I mean it! I'm coming down next week and I'm staying the summer!"

"That's amazing! Jimin I'm so happy! I can't wait to- oh my god I have to prepare! My parents will want to take you out to dinner- oh Taehyung's gunna want to come down too- oh!"

Jimin simply laughed. "Oh Jungkook. I can't wait to kiss you."

"Ah...I can't wait either...I can't wait to see you. I look really different." Jungkook blushed. "I want you to see me."

"I lost some baby fat, I'm hoping you can tell the difference." Jimin laughed. "How've you been? I was so busy this last week, but...I'm feeling good."

"I won my tournament and then I had finals and then bam! I graduated. It was all so fast, but it was sweet of everyone to come down and be there for me. Yoongi hyung was so sweet, he brought me the prettiest flowers. Mom took them." Jungkook laughed. "God I'm so happy Jimin, I'm so happy you're coming down."

"Me too! I'm moving back into my house but this time without a caretaker." Jimin giggled. "So you can come over and we don't have to be quiet at all."

Jungkook blushed deeply and sat on his bed. "...you've missed me?"

"So much Jungkook. I've gone two years without kissing you. I'm feeling deprived if I'm being honest. Just been thinking about you..."

Jungkook laughed a little. "Yeah, I've missed you too. I can't believe it's been two years, I never thought I'd be doing long distance."

"I can't believe it either. But...I can't wait to have more time with you. I'll spoil you so much when I get back, I haven't been able to spoil you at all." Jimin whined.

"That's a lie! You send me boxes of snacks like, every month from the place you're at, how is that not spoiling!"

"I haven't take you out on dates or driven you anywhere or kept you in bed for a day. I haven't even made you breakfast before!"

Jungkook blushed more. "J-Jimin!"

"Hm? Oh, whoops! Must've slipped." He hummed, Jungkook shaking his head at how shameless Jimin was.

"You're so...forward..."

"Is that bad?"

"Well no, but- but it's nerve wracking." Jungkook mumbled.

"...it's not like you're shy about it. You send me messages and pictures when you're lonely." Jimin spoke lowly. "Haven't you been thinking about it too?"

Jungkook blushed deeper. "...I mean, yeah. But it's still nerve wracking okay! I'm...confident when I'm lonely...or maybe just pathetic." He continued to mumble, his embarrassment evident.

"Oh I like when you're pathetic. It reminds me that you're still so cute and adorable, listening to me no matter what." Jimin laughed a little, but it wasn't kind. "Would you do whatever I say? I wonder..."

Jungkook covered his face. "Hyung...you've been thinking too much." He was so embarrassed at how easy he was to make flustered.

"Mmm~ have you been thinking about it? About what you'd want? Cause I have. Last time I initiated something it was two years ago! And you turned me down, boo." Jimin laughed a little, Jungkook only blushing deeper.

"T-t-that's cause I was t-too nervous! I- I wasn't r-ready. C-cause your touch i-is too much." Jungkook sounded like a fool, stuttering over his words. But...Jimin had that effect on him.

"Mmm, I can't wait to touch you again. You could barely get your shirt off then, what about now? You're usually home alone...how do you touch yourself?"

Jungkook buried his face in his bed. "Hyung..."

"Mhm?" Jimin was teasing him. "What's the first thing you thought of when I said I was coming back?"

"I thought about hugging you."

"And then?"

"...k-kissing you..." Jungkook couldn't get his blush to go away.

"...and anything more?"

"Hyung." Jungkook huffed, curling into himself. "It's pathetic, okay?"

"How? We've been dating for years, it isn't pathetic at all!" Jimin laughed. "I just want to know what you've been thinking about."

"...m...'m thinking about...you. And how you'd treat me...and what you'd say...and where you'd touch..." Jungkook sighed. He was pathetic around Jimin. "...and what you'd do. What you'd feel like."

Jimin laughed. "Well in a week you won't have to wonder!"

Jungkook couldn't help but smile. "...seriously?"

"If you want to. I know I do." Jimin sounded a little smug, Jungkook smiling a little more.

"Yeah. Yeah, I do. Consider it...a return gift."

"Consider it a graduation gift."

"Perfect."

"Good."

"How've you been getting along with your dad? Have you told him yet?"

Jimin was silent for a moment. "Well...no. He hasn't changed and I'm scared. But my mom is supportive and knows, so she'll take good care of us okay?"

"Ah, well...at least you told your mom? She's fine with us fucking?"

Jimin laughed. "Jungkook! She thinks you're innocent."

"Mm, that's cause you think I'm too cute."

"Well, I don't really tell her about our phone calls...at night." Jimin sounded a little embarrassed now. "But hey, why would I? I don't want anyone else to know how cute you sound."

"Hyung, you're too shameless. What'll happen when you have to really tell my parents about us?"

"I'll be asking for your hand in marriage so they better get used to me."

Jungkook blushed more. "Hyung! Y-you can't just say that!"

"I mean it Jungkook. When we're older, I'm going to marry you. You'll be mine, right?"

"W-w-well, I really don't know! I haven't thought about it at all!" Jungkook sat up. "I don't even know if I'm going to college yet!"

"Mm~ even if you don't, you can live off of me. I want to live with you forever." Jimin sighed dreamily. "Can't you imagine it? We could have a lovely house with some dogs and a garden. We could travel the world, we could go to huge events, we could- we could go anywhere. Everywhere!"

"I..." Jungkook smiled. "That sounds really nice. I haven't been able to live in such a world..."

"You can live it with me! I want you- I want you to have everything in the world. To eat well, to have happiness, to feel my love- I- I want you to have everything Jungkook." Jimin exhaled softly. "Sorry, I daydream too much don't I?"

"No! No, don't say that! It's nice to daydream and have optimism." Jungkook smiled. "I'm flattered, truly, but I just think we're so young. So let's...think on it, okay? But I would like to live with you." Jungkook laughed a little. "I think my mom wouldn't be surprised."

"Okay Jungkook. When I get back...we'll tell them together okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook felt giddy. "Okay! I know it'll go well, they really love me. You've eaten with them."

"I have. They're sweethearts." Jimin laughed.

"Jimin! Come on we have to go." His mother spoke loudly in the background. "Pack your shit we have to go!"

Jimin laughed. "I have to go Jungkookie..."

"I'll see you soon Jimin."

"Bye."

"Bye." Jungkook hung up with a smile.

His stomach had butterflies. He could've thought he could fly at this moment, as he sat on his bed with a million thoughts.

Jimin was coming home! Jimin was thinking about marrying him? Jimin wanted to move in together! Jimin wanted to tell his parents...but that would go perfectly fine! It would go amazingly, and his parents would love him and love Jimin and nothing would be different except Jungkook moving in with Jimin somewhere.

Oh god it was all so much! He hadn't even thought of all of that stuff! Marrying him?! Jungkook wasn't even thinking about college! Jungkook wasn't- they couldn't even get married here.

Oh god could you get married to someone else if you aren't a resident there? Why was he thinking about that!

Jungkook shook his head. He had to focus on Jimin returning instead! B-but even then, Jimin left him with some implications that he was not going to be able to sleep with very quietly.

One week...only one week away.

____

Jungkook took the car tonight, the flowers he got riding in the passenger seat, the meal he bought Jimin there as well, along with a quick change of clothes in case he wanted them and an eye mask if he wanted to sleep in the car.

It was around 10pm, and they would have to drive for a little bit to get home.

He felt so excited. He was so excited to hold Jimin again, to hear his laugh in person instead of over the phone, he was so excited to see his smile and see his differences and still love him just the same.

He waited inside with the flowers, seeing a couple others waiting with him. Maybe for their loved ones too.

He felt his foot start to tap when he watched people pile out, Jimin almost immediately there at the exit (that first class asshole, how dare he have the luxury of being rich). He made eye contact with Jungkook and waved excitedly, giddy to get through security.

Jungkook felt himself smile as he watched Jimin continue to make eye contact with him while he got through it all.

Jimin ran at him as soon as he was free, Jungkook opening his arms and bracing for impact. Jimin jumped into his arms, fully bear hugging him. Jungkook stumbled only a little before hugging him back. "Oh Jungkook, I missed you so much!" Jimin burrowed his head into Jungkook's chest, as Jungkook readjusted Jimin in his arms, holding him with one while the other still held his flowers.

"I missed you too Jiminie. I missed you so much."

Jimin slowly stood, looking up at Jungkook. "You're so much taller! You've gotten so handsome too, oh my gosh! My god you've changed so much." Jimin's eyes watered as he smiled and held Jungkook's cheeks. "Look at you...you've grown so much."

Jungkook smiled at him, before putting their foreheads together. "You changed a lot too hyung. You seem to have gotten even more class."

"Mmm, but am I handsome?"

Jungkook laughed a little. "Yeah. You're handsome alright."

Jimin looked around and pouted. "Let's get to the car, I want to kiss you so badly." He whispered, before hugging Jungkook again.

Jungkook held him. "Let's get your bags."

"Mmm~ okay." Jimin pulled away and smiled.

"Here. They're from Taehyung." Jungkook handed Jimin the flowers. "He couldn't come but they're from his farm. Sent with love, of course." Jungkook teased, but he couldn't help but smile. He felt so fucking happy.

Jimin looked at each individual flower as they went over to get his bags. Jungkook took both as Jimin pointed them out, the two of them making their way to the car. "They're so lovely...his grandmother always was a sweetheart."

"Aren't they?" Jungkook unlocked the car and opened the trunk, hefting the luggage inside. Jimin set his flowers down in the passenger seat before waving Jungkook over. "You look so happy Jimin." Jungkook went over and hugged him.

The lovely thing about airports at night time was that there was typically no one there. "I am happy! I'm with you again. And nothing else makes me happier." Jimin hugged him tightly, before reaching up to hold Jungkook's cheek. "You've gotten so much taller."

"Mhm, I've gotta lean down to kiss you now." Jungkook teased, Jimin laughing just a little.

"Mm, whatever works." He stood on his tip toes and kissed Jungkook, keeping it soft and sweet. Jungkook had missed him so much. He missed kissing him, he missed his voice, his words, his smile, his eyes, and the way he made him lose his god damn mind. "...are we driving home or do you want to get a hotel?"

"I was gunna drive home." Jungkook smiled a little in a daze. He forgot how lovely Jimin's lips were.

"Mmm. Okay." Jimin gave him another squeeze before letting go and opening the back door. "Have a seat."

Jungkook blushed but did so, moving into the middle of the backseat. "Didn't have enough?"

Jimin got in after, closing the door and letting the lights turn off in the car. "Jungkook. I've been gone for two years. I've missed every single thing about you." He sat on Jungkook's lap and took off his sweater. He grabbed Jungkook's hands and pressed them against his stomach. "Please touch me."

Jungkook blushed more but nodded, kissing Jimin quickly while he let his hands roam Jimin's body.

God everything was different. Jimin was different, but it was nice. Jungkook smiled as he pulled away for a moment, Jimin kissing at his jaw and neck, not wanting to stop for anything. "Where?"

"Anywhere."

Jungkook nodded and slipped a hand past the waistband of Jimin's sweats. "You've been working out hm?"

"So have you." Jimin kissed his neck, a hand slipping up Jungkook's sweater. "You have so much muscle on you now, you used to be a baby! What happened to my baby?" Jimin kissed a hickey into Jungkook's skin.

Jungkook blushed and shivered with a smile, forgetting how that felt. "I grew up a bit h-hyung. G-god I missed you."

Jimin giggled. "You're still cute though. I missed so much of your life, I have to discover everything." He inched his hand higher up Jungkook's shirt. "I'll have to start with your body, hm?"

Jungkook blushed more and closed his eyes. "I-I guess you might have to."

"Mmm~ you can touch anywhere you know. I like it."

Jungkook nodded, embarrassed to have Jimin on him so quickly. "I- I know...you tell me enough times..." Jungkook slowly moved them so he could lay down. Jimin slid his hands down to Jungkook's belt, undoing it.

"How could you even bare to wear pants so late?" He mumbled into Jungkook's neck, still kissing.

"Mom wouldn't let me leave in sweats." Jungkook laughed a little. "Said I should look decent."

Jimin dropped the belt on the floor. "Aww, she's worried you'd fuck me in her car? I thought about it but...I just want to be close to you." Jimin hummed happily. "I wouldn't tell of course, if you did want to."

"I-I'd feel too much shame." Jungkook blushed.

Jimin laughed. "Fair, I might too, if I wasn't obsessed with you." He undid Jungkook's pants. "Feel better?"

Jungkook exhaled his air, embarrassed. "You're too shameless."

"How? I'm in love." Jimin hummed happily. "Plus you're cute, and I missed you. I like making you happy."

"I-I have to take us h-home." Jungkook held Jimin's hips, embarrassed now. "And I'd rather n-not have a hard on while driving us home."

"Mmm...then I can take care of you." Jimin kissed his jaw. "Ah, I could honestly sleep right here but I really can't wait to sleep in my bed." Jimin sighed a little. "Mmmm...your cars too small."

"It's not even mine Jimin." Jungkook giggled. "Lemme kiss you."

Jimin smiled and kissed him, his hands snaking up Jungkook's sweater again. Jungkook whined when he felt Jimin's tongue enter his mouth, sliding over his own slowly, his hands rubbing over his nipples. Jungkook jolted.

"Ah- hyung-" Jungkook jolted again before shuddering. "Hyung- please."

Jimin glared a little. "Please what? You asked for a kiss, no?"

"You're making me...you know..." Jungkook pouted in embarrassment, his cheeks hot. "G-get my sweater off."

Jimin smiled a little, quickly getting Jungkook's clothes off. "You're so gorgeous Jungkook...I'm so lucky."

"You? I'm the lucky one. Who else has a Park Jimin on top of them?" Jungkook smiled before stopping a moan by biting his lip.

"Mmm~ you only make me want to make you moan you know." Jimin smiled, running his hands up Jungkook's chest again. "You've gotten so big."

Jungkook couldn't stop his cheeks from getting darker. "Jimin..."

"Oh of course, don't worry. You want a kiss, right?" Jimin smiled at him.

"Y-yeah."

Jimin hummed in approval, kissing Jungkook immediately. His tongue slid inside again, sliding against Jungkook's, dominating the kiss. Jungkook felt embarrassed, his hands tightening on Jimin's hips. Jimin raked a hand into Jungkook's hair, grabbing it and pulling it back a little.

Jungkook gasped, Jimin grinning and kissing him rougher, his tongue making Jungkook's brain stop working. He kissed back as best he could but Jimin made him hazy. Jimin pulled away, a small trail of saliva trailing between them.

"You...I'll never get sick of you." Jimin chuckled lowly, Jungkook covering his face with a free hand.

"Jesus fuck hyung..." Jungkook tried to catch his breath. "You're fucking- goddamn it."

"Mhm?" Jimin smiled at him, letting go of his hair, going back to Jungkook's chest. "Need something?"

Jungkook nodded and put his hands on Jimin's hips again, slowly pushing Jimin's sweats down a little. "Yeah, yeah, I'm- I...Jimin..." Jungkook looked at him with a pout.

"Well...we can't go all the way sadly." Jimin also pouted, then kissed Jungkook softly. "But I can tease you enough to get you off." Jimin smiled a little and moved Jungkook's jeans down a little before getting his sweats off.

"B-but what about you?" Jungkook watched Jimin settle on his crotch, hands finding their way back to Jungkook's chest.

"I want to watch you be happy."

"B-but I want you to f-feel good too-" Jungkook sat up on his elbow, Jimin pushing him back down.

"Oh I will." He grinned as he started to move against Jungkook's crotch.

Jungkook jolted. "Ah- Jimin-"

"Hm?" Jimin smiled at him. "You can touch you know."

"I-I know I'm- you're-" Jungkook sighed a little. "You're warm enough?"

Jimin laughed a little. "That's what you're worried about?"

"It's cold outside, and the car wasn't warmed up, s-so-" Jungkook laughed quietly. "You're warm enough?"

"Mmm, I'll warm up, don't worry." Jimin continued to move against him, leaning down to kiss him again.

Jungkook kissed back, his hands slowly going past Jimin's waistband. "Ah- hyung-"

"So cute." Jimin grinned and kept kissing him, his hands slowly resting on Jungkook's chest, his hands turning into fists as he moved against Jungkook. "Ah, Jungkook, I can't wait till- I-" he whined a little, Jungkook smiling at the sound. He missed hearing it in person.

"Yeah, me too." Jungkook whispered against his lips, Jimin sitting up a little to get a better angle. Jimin whined louder, Jungkook groped Jimin's ass, pushing him down harder. "You sound so lovely Jimin, you sound so pretty. I missed you so much."

Jimin nodded, pouting a little. "I- I can't wait to take you places Jungkook. Ah- ah, fuck, but I can't wait to fuck you. Or be fucked by you, I'm excited for it a-all." He pursed his lips as he kept going, Jungkook stupidly close.

"You're- you're lovely Jimin. I- I'm-" Jungkook huffed, trying to quiet down.

"Aww, please, I've heard enough over the phone, let me hear you in person." Jimin glared a little, Jungkook nodding.

"S-sorry, I- I'm-" Jungkook whined lowly, embarrassed to be seen, although it was dark.

"D-don't be quiet." Jimin moaned, pressing his ass against Jungkook's hands, moving a little harder now. "Please."

"I- okay- I'm-" Jungkook groaned, moving his hips up to meet Jimin, coming almost immediately. Jimin came as well, panting as he rested on top of Jungkook. He drew circles on his chest.

"I missed you a lot Jungkook. I don't know how I did it without you...I was so lonely." Jimin spoke quietly. "I can't wait to spend the summer with you."

"I can't wait either. I brought extra clothes by the way..."

"Thinking ahead, hm? Did you expect me to be pathetic as soon as I saw you?" Jimin giggled.

"Maybe. Thought...it was a possibility." Jungkook smiled. "But I can't wait to spend summer with you too, I've got an absolutely free summer."

"Oh perfect. Perfect perfect perfect." Jimin giggled more, giddy about their future time. "I can't wait to spoil you until you're sick of me. And explain to your parents, cause I'm not letting you go."

Jungkook laughed. "Im almost positive they'll be kind. Besides...if they don't have a clue then I'm afraid they're stupid." Jungkook rubbed Jimin's back. "I haven't been exactly subtle."

Jimin smiled. "Well...then I'll be happy to be real with them. Cause I really would like their blessing."

"I promise they'll be kind. I just...wanted you to be here when I did it." Jungkook kissed his nose.

They cleaned up and got in the front seats, Jimin taking Jungkook's hand to hold while he drove.

Jimin dozed off occasionally, trying to stay awake for Jungkook, but Jungkook assured him he should sleep.

Jungkook felt so happy to have Jimin back with him.

____

Jungkook got used to living with Jimin. His parents agreed, and before he knew it, Jimin said they should move to Seoul.

"Everyone else is there, it would be nice to be closer to our friends." Jimin proposed the idea over dinner. "To be honest I've already been looking at houses."

"B-but it's so much more expensive there...and I'm not sure if my parents would be okay with me being so far away."

"You're an adult." Jimin smiled at him. "It would be your decision either way."

"I'm not sure..." Jungkook looked at their dirty dishes. "I haven't been away from home before...well, I have been gone for a summer, but never for longer." Jungkook thought about it. He probably wasn't going to get into college anyways, and it wasn't like he wanted to do more school work. He kind of just wanted to go with Jimin and hang out with friends when they could. That sounded like a good life.

"Well...we're having dinner with them tomorrow...we could bring it up?" Jimin stacked the dishes.

"We could. I mean, they're stable here now, I think they'll be okay."

"Tell me if they ever aren't, okay? I don't mind helping stabilize them." Jimin smiled at him, shushing him before Jungkook could protest. "It can be anonymous if you need their pride intact."

Jungkook smiled shyly. "Okay. I'll tell you if they ever need help."

"Good. You tell me when you need help, right?" Jimin put his chin in his hand, still smiling.

"I- I do." Jungkook nodded. "I always have."

"And you've always been heard and rewarded. So don't feel afraid to ask for help."

Jungkook blushed a little, looking up at Jimin through his hair. "Can you help me sleep tonight? I haven't been able to sleep well lately."

Jimin laughed, before grinning. "Of course baby. Would you like to tell me what you want now or after a shower?"

"Well, I would love if you could read my mind instead of having to say everything." Jungkook took their dishes to the sink, starting to wash them. "...but before. Cause then we can clean up in the shower."

"Mmm~ sorry you haven't been sleeping well. What's on your mind?" Jimin sat on the counter as Jungkook washed and dried.

"Well...just some stuff. You know. My entire future. Being able to provide for my parents without having a job anymore, or higher education. I don't even know what I want to do for work. If I even want to work. I'm horrible in a cubical and I can't sell shit and I'm a bad actor and I can't be a model-"

"Okay woah woah woah, take a deep breath." Jimin took one with him, letting it out slowly. "Okay. So you're worried about your future, that's perfectly normal! Most people do."

"You don't have to." Jungkook went over to him, putting his hands on either side of Jimin. "You have everything."

"The only certainty I have is you." Jimin kissed his nose. "Everything can go away, but as long as I have you...I'll be happy."

Jungkook smiled. "That's sweet of you, but you've got good looks, you've got money, you've got charm-"

"But I have you." Jimin smiled at him. "And that's all that matters to me. I could lose everything else, I could have nothing to my name...but as long as you're by my side...I'll be okay."

"Ah, you're cheesy." Jungkook laughed a little, resting his head on Jimin's shoulder. "But I still don't know what to do. I should do more than leech off of you."

"Why?"

"W-why? B-but I- that's-" Jungkook sputtered and looked up at him. He wasn't expecting that as a response. "I shouldn't leech off of anybody, let alone you."

"Why not? I like that you're free to do whatever you want without having to worry about money. Let me take care of you, entirely." Jimin held his cheeks, making Jungkook pout his lips. "But if you want to work, you can. I don't recommend it, it's not very fun."

"Mmm. Mk." Jungkook looked at Jimin's lips in anticipation.

"Good." Jimin smiled before kissing him, pulling him closer and wrapping his legs around his waist.

Jungkook smiled and slowly hefted Jimin up, holding him up by his ass. "You're too kind to me hyung..."

"No way, if anything I haven't spoiled you enough." Jimin giggled in between their kisses, Jungkook having to look where he was going when he went up the stairs. Jimin attacked his neck. "You deserve to be spoiled rotten."

"I dunnooo, maybe I need to be humbled. I've gotten too used to you and your status." Jungkook set him on the bed softly, kissing his neck. "I'll try not to leave any marks."

"You can leave marks on my chest then. None on your neck?"

"We're having dinner with my parents tomorrow." Jungkook shook his head. "Gotta be kind to them."

"I like when you mark me though. H-how about my thighs? Only you'll see them." Jimin slowly unbutton his own shirt. "Does that sound okay?"

"Mmm...yeah, that'll definitely get my mind off of my worries." Jungkook smiled a little. Jimin always tried to make Jungkook happy.

"You want that?"

"Well what do you want?" Jungkook got off the bed and took his shirt off before getting what they needed from their dresser. He got back on the bed, but Jimin put his foot on Jungkook's chest before he could crawl over him.

"This is for you love...I want you to help yourself and ease your mind." Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook grabbing his ankle and putting it around his waist.

"Mmm, but it should be for the both of us. Cause I'm not trying to force you into anything."

"You know I like everything." Jimin smiled more, bringing Jungkook closer. "You could do anything and I'd still be obsessed." He laughed a little. "So. What do you want to do tonight?"

"Well..." Jungkook blushed a little, kissing Jimin's chest. "I want to make you feel good...and mark your thighs."

"Yeah? You could have my entire body you know. If you wanted it." Jimin drew him in closer, kissing him softly.

"J-jesus Jimin..." Jungkook blushed as Jimin touched Jungkook's back softly. He drew circles on his shoulder blades. "You're a bad influence. I didn't know anything until I started dating you..."

"First kiss, first time...I'm going to be all your firsts and every second as well." Jimin giggled. "And then every time after that." He kissed Jungkook, this time a little more passionately, nipping Jungkook's lips as he pulled away. He licked his lips. "How about you start on your marks...I wanna feel marked by you."

"God you left and came back even fucking hornier...goddamn it, you're hot." Jungkook sighed in defeat and in embarrassment, but listened to Jimin nonetheless. He shifted down, moving Jimin's sweats down, then off. "Hyung, your thighs are so pretty."

"You think all of me is pretty."

"I'm not wrong." Jungkook grinned and raised one of Jimin's legs, kissing his thigh as his hand kneaded the other. "You're just so pretty every moment of your life."

"Mmm, you flatter me. But I don't believe it. Every moment? I promise you, I'm not in the mornings. I wake up like I'm lost, not pretty." Jimin laughed before he cleared his throat. Jungkook nibbled on his inner thigh before kissing in a mark. Jimin blushed.

Jungkook grinned a little. "I think you're pretty. Especially this view of you, it's real pretty." Jungkook licked his thigh, looking up at Jimin before nibbling it more.

Jimin blushed deeper, before he leaned back on the bed and laughed. "I'm going to fuck you so hard tomorrow. You get tonight."

Jungkook blushed pink as he looked down. "H-hyung fuck..." he nibbled only a little before his confidence broke. "Fuck, I'm..."

"Keep it up big boy, you're doing just great." Jimin teased him, poking him with his foot. "Your lips feel lovely on my skin. I want to see your marks last for a week, make them dark this time."

Jungkook tried to bounce back, Jimin too shameless. He was absolutely comfortable being naked, laying on the bed and enjoying Jungkook's touches and lips, while Jungkook was nervous while still wearing his sweats.

"Well?"

"S-sorry."

"Ah- don't apologize. You're doing perfect baby, you feel amazing." Jimin praised him, poking Jungkook again.

"I- okay." Jungkook blushed a little more, but smiled at the praise. He continued to kiss marks into Jimin's thigh, littering his inner thigh.

Jimin gave soft exhales and even softer moans and whines. Jungkook felt good about that, continuing on the other thigh. "Haa, mmm..." Jimin moved a little, his legs slightly trying to close, but Jungkook held them open. "Y-you're so cute..."

"Me?" Jungkook laughed a little. "You're the cute one...making such noises..." Jungkook kissed, biting softly.

"Cause you're so- so careful. It's cute." Jimin huffed a little. "You're so cute, baby, I love your touch."

Jungkook blushed to his ears, looking at how covered Jimin's thighs were. Just how Jimin wanted them, Jungkook reminded himself. He smiled at that, kissing up his thigh, before mouthing over Jimin's clothed cock.

"Ah fuck." Jimin hissed and sat up on his elbows, looking down at Jungkook. His cheeks were red. "J-Jungkook, fuck, you gotta prep me."

Jungkook pouted. "I wanna tease you."

"I'm gunna fucking cum."

"Awww...I can't tease you?" Jungkook pouted, holding Jimin's thighs. He rubbed them, squeezing here and there.

"Y-y-you can. You can tease me, I'll be patient." Jimin immediately folded, looking away and covering his face.

Jungkook laughed a little before continuing to mouth over Jimin's growing bulge. He licked over it before pulling down his underwear throwing them to the side. "Oh hyung, you're already so hard! How cute." Jungkook laughed, Jimin flopping back on the bed and grabbing a pillow to hold.

"Your mouth is my favorite." Jimin spoke quietly. "I love your mouth, I...think about it too much."

"Good." Jungkook hummed before licking Jimin's cock, mouthing over the tip.

"Fuck." Jimin pressed the pillow into his face, moaning out and moving his hips up just a little. "Fuck Jungkook, you're so much- you're- I love your mouth."

Jungkook laughed, licking up Jimin's precum before taking him whole. This was definitely easing his worries; Jimin's moans filled the room and he loved making Jimin feel good. Even if tonight was "for him" he was going to make this for Jimin either way. He loved it, he loved when Jimin was shameless and he definitely loved taking Jimin in his mouth, no matter how sore his jaw may be the next day.

He took him deep, going until it hit the back of his throat, loving how Jimin would move under him.

"Fuck Jungkook, fuck, I'm really close, I wasn't- wasn't expecting-"

Jungkook had been so lost in thought that he didn't even realize how long he'd been deep throating him. He popped off for a moment, licking over his tip. "Yeah?"

"Fuck off." Jimin sat up on his elbows again, his chest flushed as well as his cheeks. The pillow had been moved off the bed somehow.

"Mmm~ but you're so pretty, I love how you sound. It only makes me want to go harder." Jungkook smiled, continuing to lick just to tease him a little.

"Fuck off."

"You're cute." Jungkook smiled more going back down on him. He held his base and pumped him.

"I- Jungkook! Really I'm close!" Jimin panicked, moaning one more time before shaking his head. "Off off-"

Jungkook popped off, a little too late though. Jimin came in his mouth and on his face, Jungkook closing his eyes as it hit him, his hand trying to defend himself but not helping much at all. "Ah-" Jungkook laughed a little. "Sorry."

"Jesus fucking christ I'm-" Jimin blushed but stared at Jungkook. "I want to burn this into my brain." Jimin blinked before laughing a little. "Sorry, I'm- I'm disgusting, but you look so fucking hot."

Jungkook simply smiled, his confidence fully back. "Take a picture." He could feel it on his face, the taste still in his mouth, but he didn't hate it at all. If Jimin thought he looked hot, then that's all that mattered. It was just the two of them anyways.

"You're kidding me." Jimin laughed but scrambled to get his phone. "You really don't mind?"

"Nope, as long as you aren't going to go around sharing it." Jungkook laughed and sat up, spreading his legs just a little. "I don't mind if you want pictures of me. I've sent them before."

"Fucking hell." Jimin groaned. "You'll even pose for me?"

"Whatever you want Jiminie, I'm all yours." Jungkook smiled.

Jimin bit down a grin as he started taking some pictures. "Lick your hand."

Jungkook did as told, loving the attention Jimin gave him, loving the praise, loving the want Jimin was not hiding in his eyes.

"Goddamn it you're pretty." Jimin smiled at him.

"Can we take a shower?" Jungkook pouted.

"What, you want more?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"...I didn't get to fuck you..." Jungkook blushed.

"Mmm~ well, as much I truly would love that, we do have to meet your parents tomorrow-"

"Can I fuck you in the morning?" Jungkook rubbed his eye a little.

"Sure baby." Jimin stood up and held his hand out. "But for now let me take care of you."

Jungkook took his head and let Jimin lead him, like he always tended to do. Jimin had always led him. From schoolwork, to their friendship and their sexual relationship. Jimin was a kind leader, since Jungkook really didn't know anything when they first started.

But now...well, now Jungkook was tainted. His mind had never thought of dirty shit before, but he couldn't seem to help it now that he officially lived with Jimin. Alone. Just the two of them.

Jungkook didn't know how to live without him.

____

Jungkook was nervous for the dinner. He was anxious about how it would go, but Jimin seemed confident so he felt a little better.

Jimin had taken them to a nice restaurant, as per usual, the two of them waiting for food to arrive to tell them.

"So, you're really going to inherit all of his money? And business?" His father was wide eyed as Jimin tried to prove he was financially stable enough to care for Jungkook.

"Mhm. We went over the will when I was gone, and since I'm their only son...well, I'm truly blessed." Jimin laughed a little. "I'm just so happy I have such a lovely family to share it with."

Jungkook smiled a little. Jimin was sly, he knew that much. "That's really amazing. What're you gunna do with his business?"

"Well, it honestly works on its own, but I might have to start traveling for certain meetings here and there." Jimin shrugged. "It's not horrible for what's being traded for it."

His mother nodded. "Wow, that's really a blessing."

Their food arrived, and Jungkook felt anxious once again.

Jimin put a hand on his thigh. "But the true blessing of my life has been meeting Jungkook. Please don't change your opinion of me, but we're dating. We have been for years, and...I've never been happier than I have been with him." Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook nodding and looking at his parents.

"I know I should've told you sooner b-but I want to move with him. You know, g-grow up a bit." Jungkook blushed. "...I'm really happy mom. I'm really actually happy."

"...and you want to move as well?" His mother spoke softly. "Jungkook, you know I love you. You're my kid no matter what changes you go through, and Jimin, gosh, you couldn't have picked a better boy."

His father tsk'd. "Son, you know we raised you in a healthy environment, as best we could." He put his hand over Jungkook's on the table. "You can go grow up with him, he'll be good to you. And if he ever isn't...I'll be there okay? We'll be here for you, always."

Jungkook nodded with a smile. "I love you guys."

"We love you too."

After that...everything felt smooth. It felt so much easier to kiss Jimin, it felt easier to love him and hold him and be honest.

They moved into a house in Seoul. Closer to everyone else, while still being in a little nicer area.

Jungkook was in heaven. He'd never really owned a house so huge before, never had such a view, never had a Jimin to hug in the kitchen while he made food. The domestic life he never thought he'd have...Jimin gave it to him.

Jungkook was finishing the unpacking while Jimin went out for groceries, the two of them just about done with boxes everywhere, when Jungkook found feminine clothes at the bottom of one of Jimin's boxes.

Jungkook was confused for a second before laughing. Of course Jimin would have something buried at the bottom of his things like this.

He carefully refolded the skirts and put them in a draw, half wanting Jimin to notice and be embarrassed, half wanting Jimin to notice and be shameless.

Or, both. He always liked that about Jimin; he was so shameless while having red in his cheeks at the same time. So beautiful...

Jungkook got up and put the box where the rest were, smiling at their new house. He heard the car doors, and Jimin came in with a couple bags in his hands. "There's more in the trunk."

"Perfect." Jungkook got slides and on went out, getting the rest of their stuff. "What's for dinner tonight?" Jungkook wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist as he tried to put their groceries away.

"Mmm, not sure yet, I'm considering even making anything."

"We can always order." Jungkook kissed his neck.

"Yeah, I might be too tired to make food." Jimin laughed. "Let's order something and watch tv."

"Mm, we should play some video games." Jungkook smiled shyly as Jimin turned around to hug Jungkook back.

"Yeah?" Jimin smiled back. "I wasn't gone too long was I?"

"It was about an hour." Jungkook shrugged. "I finished all the boxes."

"O-oh did you?" Jimin blushed a little. "Even my stuff?"

"Mmmhm." Jungkook smiled more.

"W-well then, we've officially moved in." Jimin kissed him softly. "We should celebrate! Tomorrow of course, I'm dead tired." He laughed a little. "Help put the stuff away and I'll call for food."

"Ah, alright." Jungkook gave him another squeeze before letting go and putting their groceries away. Jimin placed an order before sitting on the couch and relaxing.

Jungkook joined him afterwards, turning the tv on to something. He put his arm around Jimin. "Busy day huh. You're doing so much, thank you hyung." He kissed his cheek. "I got busy at my new job, I wasn't expecting you to go ahead and get new furniture by yourself."

"Well, I'm not huge on working so I thought I should keep busy and make sure I'm contributing." Jimin snuggled into him. "Anything to make you worry less. How do you like your job?"

"It's kind of nice! I know it's simple, but I like being a taekwondo trainer. It's kind of nice to help kids out, you know? While also still learning more about myself."

"Sure is doing you wonders." Jimin put a hand on Jungkook's thigh. He smiled softly, but his hand movements were suggestive. "You're so strong Jungkookie, I'm so jealous."

"Jealous? Why? You're so cute and pretty." Jungkook smiled back, kissing the top of Jimin's head. "It's just your body type, you know?"

"I know, but you're just so handsome."

"You're handsome too." Jungkook laughed a little. "You're everything!"

"Mmm." Jimin kept touching his thigh. "You're sweet."

"And you're pretty." Jungkook turned a little more to him and put his hand on top of Jimin's. "If you want to touch then tell me hyung."

"I'm touching, aren't I?"

"You know what I mean."

"Mmm, I'm tired, really, though I'd love to have more I don't think I'd stay awake for it." He laughed tiredly, smiling at Jungkook. "Tomorrow we can."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. Celebrate officially moving in." Jimin moved his free hand to Jungkook's cheek, leaning up to give him a soft kiss. "Okay?"

Jungkook nodded. "Wanna see you in a skirt."

Jimin blushed red. "S-s-sorry you saw that..." he looked away, but Jungkook pushed him backwards on the couch, kissing him roughly.

"I love it Jimin, what the fuck." Jungkook sighed and shook his head. "When have you worn them? When did you wear them? Fuck." Jungkook groaned. "You're so hot hyung, you know I never thought about shit like this before I met you. You've made me more and more pathetic."

Jimin blushed more, but smiled shyly. "It's nice...to think that you think about me like that. I want to be on your mind."

"You're on it all the time, but god fucking damn it you're on it more and more." Jungkook kissed him again. "What've you done to me?"

Jimin giggled. "I've opened your eyes, that's all. Imagine never having sex with me, that sounds so sad." Jimin teased him, pulling him a little closer, his hands on his cheeks. "You want to see me in a skirt? We can celebrate tomorrow, I've got an idea."

"Mmmm~" Jungkook melted under Jimin's touch. "Yeah, yeah I really do. Makes me think things, it's horrible how much I think about you."

"That's not horrible! There's nothing wrong with that." Jimin brought him in for a kiss. "I want to be on your mind all the time."

"All the time?"

"All the time." Jimin giggled. "I like when you tell me what's on your mind too."

Jungkook sighed and shook his head with a smile. "You spoil me too much." He kissed him again. "Trying to make me feel better."

"I promised I'd spoil you rotten and I'm still trying to do that. If that's wearing a skirt for you, gosh, I think I just have to do it." He giggled again. "Besides...women's clothing is comfortable." He smiled shyly, Jungkook sliding a hand up his shirt and mouthing at his neck.

"Fuck me." Jungkook sighed dreamily. "You're too perfect, I can't- I can't get used to you. You'll really wear a skirt for me?"

"Mhm. I've got some cute ones."

"When?"

"Well...I dunno, I guess high school. Weekends you weren't over? You know...wear them, look at myself in the mirror...it's nice. It's pretty." Jimin looked to the side, rubbing his thumb over Jungkook's cheek. "...I was embarrassed."

"Shit hyung, you're pretty, okay? I feel like you don't understand that." Jungkook laughed a little in disbelief.

"I'm not sure if I do. But...you give me confidence." Jungkook smiled at that, seeing Jimin smile more. "And I like drowning everyone out with you."

"Yeah?" Jungkook kissed him softly. "Fuck everyone else, they're mean and they don't understand you. So what if you're young to inherit a successful company...you'll do fine. You've got your mother to help, right?"

"Mhm." Jimin pouted a little. "You really think I'll be fine?"

"Yeah. Of course! Especially since your dad left, jeez...you'll be fine. Even better than him." Jungkook peppered him in kisses to ease him. "I know it was hard to move for you, you know, trying to be a real adult and all, plus the new position...but we'll be okay."

"I just hate hiding you." Jimin took the kisses. "I wanna show you off but I don't want to harm the business."

"It's okay! I'll be home for you, and we can be comfortable together here. I don't need to be shown off..." Jungkook smiled a him. "I just want to be here for you."

"You're too kind for this world." Jimin kissed him. "You deserve more."

"You're all I want."

The doorbell rang.

"Plus food." Jungkook smiled and got up to get the food.

They ate dinner while watching a show before the both of them got ready for bed.

"You know...I think you're right." Jimin spoke quietly as they cuddled. "I don't want anyone to know you. They would just be cruel."

Jungkook laughed tiredly. "You were thinking about it?"

"Yeah. And I don't want another person to ever know your kindness."

"Mmm...you're cute. I don't mind being the one at home, you know?"

"Yeah."

They slept soundly next to each other, Jungkook simply happy to be here for him.

He couldn't imagine being happier.

____

Jungkook woke up first from his alarm and turned it off, Jimin having crawled onto him during the night. Jungkook really did love him. He was perfect inside and out. He rubbed his back softly, wanting Jimin to sleep as much as he could, but he knew he was awake from his alarm.

Jungkook kissed his forehead. "Gotta go into work today?"

"Mmm, no." Jimin mumbled, sighing as he snuggled into Jungkook's chest. "But you do..."

"I do love, I'm sorry." Jungkook kissed him again. "But that's why I picked the early shift, so I can be home sooner."

"Mmm." Jimin whined, holding Jungkook tighter. "I don't want you to go."

"I've got some time." Jungkook laughed a little. He liked spending time in the mornings with Jimin, they were soft and kind, and Jimin was cuddly and warm.

"Mmmm..." Jimin kept mumbling. "I'm so tired."

"Then go back to sleep."

"Want you to stay."

"You know I can't."

"I know..." Jimin sighed. "Doesn't make anything better."

"I know." Jungkook slowly sat up, Jimin whining the entire time. "I have to get up, but I can come back after I get ready."

Jimin sighed and let him go. "Fine."

Jungkook got out of the bed and kissed his forehead again before getting ready for work. When he came back, Jimin was already fast asleep.

"Oh hyung, you work so hard. Rest well." Jungkook kissed his forehead softly before heading out to his job.

He liked it, really. It was easy for him to get back into the ropes of things, and it was nice to learn more about taekwondo. He also liked helping kids and high schoolers feel good about their skills. He was a mentor in training and the couple of mentors there were kind to him.

He texted Jimin on his break once before he headed home. He stopped to get food on the way, changing his clothes in the car first. He wanted to get home, relax a bit, lay in bed with Jimin again, maybe go to their swimming pool, he didn't know, they had a free day now and it was only 1pm.

He got home, taking his shoes off and putting his keys and food on the counter, trying to find Jimin. He was usually in the living room, so he checked the kitchen, before heading to the bedroom. "Jimin?"

"Oh! God the time flew didn't it." Jimin laughed from inside the bedroom. "Come in!"

Jungkook laughed a little as he got inside, his smile fading as he saw Jimin. "Oh my god." Jungkook had completely forgotten. "Oh my god hyung you're fucking- I'm-" Jungkook dropped his bag. "Fuck."

"Yeah?" Jimin smiled at him, looking up from his phone. "I just finished cleaning up the house, I finally got the motivation to dust and vacuum, I know you told me to rest, but I just couldn't help it. I'm horrible at off days."

Jimin was just casually lounging on the bed, music playing on the tv, but oh fucking god Jungkook would not be able to get Jimin in a skirt off his mind from here on out.

Jimin in a lovely, little, red skirt.

"Well?" Jimin raised an eyebrow at him. "I was expecting you in your taekwondo clothes, but you already changed it seems!"

"I- I got us...some lunch..." Jungkook couldn't look away. He also couldn't focus. He probably looked stupid, but he didn't care, as his cheeks heated up, but again, he didn't care. Jimin just looked too pretty; his legs were out and crossed, wearing a cute sweater that barely covered his stomach, the red skirt just...just blowing Jungkook away.

"Mmm~ yeah? What'd you get?" Jimin uncrossed his legs, setting his phone on the side table.

"Doesn't fucking matter now." Jungkook exhaled, shaking his head a little, but still staring. "My god, what the fuck...I'm- how did I not know you liked skirts? Fuck, I-"

Jimin laughed a little, sitting up. "You're cute. I do like it though, it feels nice." He got on his knees, swishing it back and forth. "You know?"

"I'm..." Jungkook laughed in embarrassment. "Sorry, I'm staring like a fool."

"I don't mind." Jimin smiled at him. "Actually...I kind of want you to stare."

Jungkook took a couple steps forward before becoming embarrassed and looking away. "God I'm sorry, I'm..." he was definitely getting a semi at the moment. "Stupidly horny around you."

"Good." Jimin laughed. "I want you to be, cause that means I get all the attention in the world from you. And you know me...enough is never enough."

"G-goddamn it Jimin..." Jungkook blushed more.

"What?" Jimin smiled plainly at him. "You want to touch me, don't you?"

"Fuck." Jungkook whispered. "Yeah, yeah I do."

"Well...can I make your day even better?"

"Of course, oh my fuck how can you make it better?" Jungkook covered his face, embarrassed to look at Jimin again.

"Well...you could look at me?" Jimin giggled, and got up from the bed, Jungkook hearing their dresser open.

"I might just...die..." Jungkook laughed at his pathetic behavior.

"Jungkook, come here." Jimin called him over, Jungkook going over to his voice, but still didn't look at him. "Aww, please baby? Won't you look at me?"

"Jimin..."

"You always look good when you wear casual clothes. Even in just jeans and a tee shirt, I'm head over heels for you." Jimin giggled. "Look at me Jungkook. I'm not going to wear a skirt every day you know."

"You better not, fuck, I would lose my goddamn mind." Jungkook looked at him, covering his mouth. "How could you possibly wear this without me thinking about fucking you?"

"Who said I didn't think about that?" Jimin smiled at him. "I think about you too Jungkook...do you forget that?"

Jungkook laughed a little as he sat on the edge of the bed. "I guess I do. You're just so much more discreet about your wants, I'm- I'm like a dog, you can always tell my emotions."

Jimin laughed a nodded. "That's true! It sure is cute though." Jimin sat on his lap, straddling him. He crossed his arms behind Jungkook's neck. "I do love that about you."

Jungkook blushed at the feeling. The fabric was so much thinner than Jimin's usual sweats. "Y-yeah?"

"Mhm. I like knowing you." Jimin kissed him softly. "And I like that you think I'm cute. You can start you know..."

"Y-yeah?"

"Mhm. I've just been comfortable at home, you know? But I've been waiting for you to get home." Jimin giggled a little.

Jungkook carefully slid his hands under Jimin's skirt, swallowing his saliva as he did. So maybe he had a thing for Jimin in a skirt. Maybe. He watched his hands go under, rubbing up his thighs before cursing. "Fuck Jimin..."

"Mhm?"

"You're such a bad influence on me." Jungkook blushed and sighed. "You're too much." Jungkook sighed again as he moved to Jimin's ass, Jimin having not worn any underwear. "Goddamn it."

"Mmm, you should prep me, I want you to get inside." Jimin kissed his neck once before getting the lube and handing it to Jungkook.

"Y-you've been thinking about it?"

"Mhm. Since last night, and all of today. You left and I just, god, couldn't stop thinking about the face you'd make when you saw me." Jimin smiled as Jungkook poured lube on his fingers. He lifted his hips to let Jungkook start prepping him. "It was priceless."

Jungkook fit a finger in easily. "I forgot...I was just so tired this morning I forgot you- I- goddamn it Jimin, I'm so- so lucky to have you." Jungkook smiled sheepishly and slowly fit in a second one. Jimin was so hot on his lap, hips lifted so jungkook could finger him easier.

Jimin put his hands on Jungkook's shoulders. "Cause I'm pretty?"

"You're everything." Jungkook smiled at him. "Kiss?"

Jimin smiled happily and kissed him, leading the kiss. He licked into Jungkook's mouth, moving against Jungkook's fingers just slightly as he kissed him with tongue. Jimin seemed to just demand more and more.

Jungkook added more lube before adding a third finger. "Ah- Jimin-"

"Mmm." Jimin grinned as he pulled away from the kiss, smiling at a dazed Jungkook. "You look amazing Jungkookie, so good."

"H-how, you're the one who looks amazing." Jungkook breathed a little heavily. Jimin always took his breath away.

"Cause. You always look so embarrassed but so in love. I'm in love with you." Jimin smiled happily at him, kissing him again. "I'm prepped Jungkook, thank you."

"A-are you? I haven't been doing it for that long."

"I want to get on you." Jimin smiled. "Cause I have an idea."

"Y-yeah?" Jungkook smiled shyly.

"Mhm. If you want to try it."

"O-of course."

"We got a full mirror..." Jimin smiled at him.

"Fuck me, goddamn it." Jungkook nearly whimpered at the idea. "You're- you-"

Jimin laughed. "Yeah? A bad influence? Bring ideas to the table and you know I'll probably say yes." Jungkook pulled his fingers out, Jimin getting up and moving their full mirror from the side to in front of the bed, grabbing his phone on the way.

"You're a horrible influence." Jungkook looked at himself in the mirror...he looked like a mess already. His lips were a little swollen, he was blushing, and he was obviously hard under his pants.

Jimin came back and giggled at him. "Look at how cute you are. So so cute! Undue your pants for me bunny." Jimin smiled as he watched Jungkook embarrassingly take his belt off and unbutton his pants, zipping them down. "Feel better?"

"Shut up..." Jungkook felt embarrassed. He hated how easy he was around Jimin but...he just...looked so pretty in a skirt.

"Well, you'll feel better when you get those off a little, no?"

"Shameless."

"Mhm!" Jimin laughed and stopped Jungkook from taking his clothes off entirely. "Ah- leave them on, just move them down a little."

"Hm?"

"You'll see." Jimin smiled at him as he lubed Jungkook's cock, turning around to face the mirror before lifting his skirt, settling down on Jungkook this way.

"Oh fuck, oh shit." Jungkook immediately blushed as he saw the two of them in the mirror.

Jimin laughed a little. "Mmm...feels good. B-but see? You can't even tell I'm riding you cause of the skirt. It hides it all so well." Jimin blushed a little. "Can...can I take some pictures?"

"Of course." Jungkook nuzzled into Jimin's neck, kissing softly. "You know I don't mind."

"Still gotta ask." Jimin got his phone, taking a couple pictures in the mirror, before shivering. Jungkook put his hands on his thighs, rubbing down before widening his legs slowly. "Ah..." Jimin blushed more, putting his phone down.

"Oh no, keep taking pictures. You should know how good you look. How beautiful you are as my cock warmer...just look at you hyung." Jungkook moved a hand to Jimin's chin, raising it delicately to look at the mirror. "Do you see yourself? You look like you belong here." Jungkook mouthed at his ear, watching Jimin become flushed.

"Y-yeah. Yeah, I do look pretty. You're just a lovely addition." Jimin teased him, Jungkook laughing lowly.

"Oh yeah? I'm sure you'll see how much you need me...you couldn't do this on your own."

Jimin smiled before he jolted a little; Jungkook slid his hands up his chest and down to his crotch. "I...want a picture of you hard under your skirt." Jungkook kissed at his neck again, biting in a hickey.

"A-ah, okay." Jimin wiggled a little, Jungkook rolling his hips to tease him. "Mm!" Jimin shut his mouth. "Fuck, fuck..."

"Yeah?" Jungkook palmed his crotch, his other hand rubbing over a nipple. He kept marking his neck. "You're not taking any pictures hyung." He tsk'd. "Why not?"

"S-sorry I'm- I-" Jimin looked at the mirror and blushed, looking away.

"Ah...no, you have to look at the mirror hyung. It was your idea, no? How about you use it? You're so pretty...and hard, look at hard you are under your pretty little skirt hyung. Are you getting enough attention?"

Jimin looked at the mirror in embarrassment. "I- I am."

Jungkook made eye contact through the mirror, moving his hand from his crotch to his waist. "Take a picture hyung...you look so cute, so small and pathetic." Jungkook smiled as Jimin took more pictures. "Look how hard you are already. I haven't even done much, and you already raised your skirt...what are you thinking about?" Jungkook teased him.

"W-well, I just- I'm- you were touching me so of course I'm hard. I- I was just thinking about...what...what else I could wear to make you like this. I like when you're confident like this, it feels good." Jimin blushed, but kept the eye contact. "If just a skirt will make you hard, then what else will?"

Jungkook nearly groaned. "You want to give me more heart attacks? I could've died when I walked into the room."

"Maybe I should wear more skirts."

"Only if you want my hands up it."

"So maybe I should." Jimin smiled, and this time Jungkook did groan.

"You're a horrible influence, you're supposed to be teaching me good lessons." Jungkook blushed.

"That's for the others to do. I'm here to give you freedom." Jimin smiled more, laughing a tiny bit. "Besides...I like when you're all over me, why wouldn't I give you more opportunities to do that?"

"Fuck, hyung..." Jungkook blushed more. "Why're you- you're so shameless..."

"Is that a bad thing?"

"N-no but it makes me forget to have shame."

"Good. We don't need that." Jimin laughed louder. "Besides...why should you feel shame for having me right here? Are you ashamed of me?"

"N-no! No of course not!" Jungkook hugged him. "I love you. I'm so in love with you I don't know what to do." Jungkook kissed his neck softly. He didn't know what he would do without him, didn't Jimin know that?!

"...good." Jimin hummed in approval. "Good. You're mine you know."

"I know. I better be." Jungkook kissed his neck, then bit it. "I better be yours." He rolled his hips a little, Jimin shuddering. "Cause I don't think I'd be happy without you."

"G-good." Jimin exhaled shakily. "I'm never letting you go. Do you understand?"

Jungkook nodded, smiling a little. "Can I move?"

"Y-yeah. You've had enough teasing?" Jimin laughed a little.

"I want to hear you." Jungkook smiled into Jimin's neck. "And I really want to move."

"Mmm~ yeah, okay. You can- woah!" Jimin exclaimed when Jungkook held his hips and lifted him just enough so they could flip onto the bed; Jungkook hovering over Jimin's body. Jungkook stayed inside him, Jimin struggling to get on his hands and knees better, but Jungkook didn't give him time. He moved quickly, feeling Jimin shake just a little under him. "Ah! I- Jungkook!" Jimin moaned, biting the sheets.

"Mmm, I said I want to hear you." Jungkook spoke lowly, raising the skirt to see Jimin's ass. "Didn't I?"

"Y-yes you did." Jimin whimpered slightly, Jungkook smiling. "But I don't want to..."

"But angel! It'll suit the look so well, truly, I'll never forget today if you do."

Jimin mumbled.

"Hm?"

"You won't forget it either way!" Jimin exhaled slowly, trying to calm down. Jungkook didn't let him. "Jungkook! Please!"

"Please what darling?"

"L-let me adjust I- I-"

"Mmm, no." Jungkook laughed and kept moving, his hands holding Jimin's waist under his skirt. "You're too pretty, I don't feel like stopping." He continued, loving Jimin's voice as he tried to keep quiet but unable to.

"Haa, no- Jungkook, p-please let me- let me adjust!"

"Mmmmm no." Jungkook laughed a little more. "Nope! You're too cute, I just wanna-" he stopped talking as he felt embarrassed.

Jimin couldn't seem to respond in anything other than moans and whines, Jungkook loving the sound. God Jimin was beautiful in every way possible.

He tapped the bed before he came, unable to say anything as his thighs shook. Jungkook grinned. "Yeah, fuck, you sound good." He nearly laughed, but he knew Jimin needed some kindness at the moment. "I'm close."

Jimin nodded, then gave Jungkook the okay.

He leaned down and shoved inside, coming deep. He kissed at the back of Jimin's neck. "You're so pretty Jimin, you're so pretty hyung."

"Ahhhh..." Jimin tried to catch his breath. "You're relentless."

"Sorry." Jungkook kissed softly, rubbing his ass soothingly. "Sorry, I kinda...mmm..."

"No no, don't apologize, I'm just gunna need to rest." Jimin laughed a little. "Plus a massage from you."

Jungkook smiled a little. "Yeah? Lunch is on the counter too."

"Oh perfect." Jimin tried to sit up on his arms but he couldn't. "Ah. Goddamn you fucked my legs out of working." Jimin was still shaking. "Who taught you to do such a thing?"

"You let me practice." Jungkook kept kissing. "Mmm...can I pull out?"

"Mmm." Jimin nodded. "Go slow."

"Alright alright..." Jungkook rolled his eyes teasingly, as he slowly pulled out. He watched Jimin's skirt get soiled. "Oh my god I'm so sorry." Jungkook laughed a little as he tried to apologize. "I'm-"

"We can clean it, don't worry." Jimin slowly rested on the bed. "Fuck my ass, you've got so much stamina."

"I-it's my job." Jungkook stuttered as he covered his mouth, looking at Jimin fucked out and still pretty as ever. "I have to have a lot of stamina."

Jimin laughed a little. "Mmmm...yeah you're right." He finally caught his breath. "Clean up?"

"Wanna take a bath?"

"Together."

"O-oh okay." Jungkook felt a little embarrassed. "Haven't had enough of me yet?"

"Never." Jimin smiled softly. "But goddamn it you fucked everything out of me." He laughed. "Didn't think...a skirt was gunna be the push."

"I just- well, I wasn't- I forgot." Jungkook sighed as he got up and started to clean them up. "I forgot about it when I got up for work, but now I don't think I'll ever be able to forget it."

"Mm, good." Jimin smiled. "I'll wear them sometimes, I forgot I'd had them."

Jungkook cleaned them up, the two taking a bath together before they relaxed for the rest of the day.

Jungkook had gotten so used to this.

He was used to being around Jimin every moment of every day, sometimes even going to work was too long. He loved being around Jimin, enjoyed when their friends came over for a meal or a game night, he loved when they were alone, he loved everything.

____

Jungkook rubbed Jimin's back as they rested, Jimin's head and hand on his chest.

"...I think you're making me addicted." Jungkook spoke quietly as they let a movie play in the background. They'd ignored it during the first half.

"Hm?" Jimin spoke sleepily, rubbing small circles on Jungkook's bare chest.

"I think you're making me an addict." Jungkook sighed a little. "It's like, whatever happens I'm thinking about you."

"Mhm?" Jimin looked up at him. "Is that a problem?"

"Well...it's been years and I haven't gotten better." Jungkook looked down at him. He looked so cute, so pretty, so kissable and soft and fuckable and- and that! That's what always happened! He frowned a little. "I look at you and then I just want to...you know..."

"Hmmm. I don't think that's a problem. That just means you're thinking of me." Jimin smiled at him before laying his head down again. He kissed him softly. "I don't mind."

"But do you even like it?" Jungkook felt a little doubt.

They'd been living together for years now. He was 23, inching in on 24 and yet...he'd only gotten more and more obsessed with Jimin instead of calming down and spending their time together calmly.

Instead, Jungkook was slowly becoming addicted to Jimin and his entire body. Jimin would be making dinner and Jungkook would have to be touching him. Jimin would be sitting on the couch and Jungkook felt the need to kiss him until he gave into more. And fuck, when Jimin started wearing skirts, Jungkook had a hard time keeping his hands off. And when Jimin started wearing his bigger shirts to sleep in, Jungkook struggled to not touch him and fuck him in it.

He was...probably becoming an addict. Addicted to Jimin.

"Do I like it? I love you." Jimin sat up a little, using Jungkook's chest. He glared a little. "Do I seem to dislike it at all? If I didn't like something I'd tell you, you know that right?" He showed some concern.

Jungkook pouted a little. "I do but...but isn't it too much?"

"No? I'm not sure what's gotten into you love." Jimin frowned. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah yeah I'm just...I think I'm getting worse." Jungkook looked at him with shame. "I've been so taxing on you..."

"What? No, no, don't say that." Jimin fully sat up. "Hey, what've you been reading? What's getting in your head? There's nothing wrong with what we're doing." Jimin kissed him softly, delicately, almost as if to persuade him to stop thinking about it.

"I just think I've gone rather far, don't you?" Jungkook kept his pout. "I- I dunno...even today. You- you don't...it doesn't seem like you care, you know?" Jungkook sighed, trying to explain it better. "Like, what I mean is you don't seem to care either way."

"Mmm...I just want you to be comfortable and feel comfortable. You used to be so shy and quiet and I just want to help you get out of your shell. And you have!" Jimin frowned. "Why've you been thinking about all of this? Are you not happy?"

"I didn't say that." Jungkook looked at him sadly. "I just feel like...I'm using you. You know?"

"No no, don't think that baby, I don't feel that way at all. How long has this been bothering you?" Jimin pouted and moved closer, laying on top of Jungkook. He crossed his arms over his chest, kissing him once. "It seems like it's been bothering you for a while..."

"Just a little bit c-cause I was trying to get better." Jungkook hugged him. "C-cause I'm pretty sure I'm becoming addicted to you."

"Is that a problem?" Jimin smiled a little sadly. "...I...I like that...though..."

"To that extent?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "I- I feel like...I'm being pushy. Like I'm pushing you to have sex with me all the time, I- I really think I'm becoming too much."

"But I always say yes! If I didn't like it I would tell you Jungkookie, really, I'm not a pushover."

"But you are." Jungkook pouted. "You are a pushover. I'll ask twice and you'll say yes cause it makes me happy."

"I like making you happy? I- I'm sorry, I don't think I see the problem." Jimin frowned. It seemed like he wanted to understand, but simply...couldn't.

Jungkook tried to think of a better way to word himself. "...I think...what I'm trying to say...is that...that's all our time together has been...cause of me..."

"Ah, okay." Jimin smiled at him, more at ease. "We need more dates. More outings, more...getting to know each other again. I- okay! We can go out more and I can be less lenient if you want to pull back on having sex." Jimin sighed dreamily. "It's been a while since I've been out not related to work..."

"Y-yeah. That sounds good. I think I need that uh...control...from you."

"Hm?"

"I uh...need you to be in control of that." Jungkook blushed a little bit. "I'm bad at stopping myself. Sometimes I catch myself but then I just...let myself keep thinking about you."

"Well." Jimin booped his nose. "Don't stop thinking of me, but...I can help you get back on track. If that's what you'd like."

"But what do you want?" Jungkook still felt a little bad. Jimin did so much for him, but he rarely did enough for himself.

"What do I want? Jungkook, you." Jimin laughed. "I already have everything I need." He laid on his chest, hugging him.

"Me? Jiminie, there must be more you want."

"Nope. Spending time with you. That's what makes me happy. If that's on a date, if that's relaxing at home, if that's having sex, I don't care, as long as it's with you. Cause I'm in love with you, Jungkook."

"Oh." Jungkook felt a little embarrassed. "Oh..."

"I tell you that often, don't I?"

"You do b-but...I...I just always feel like I'm the only one asking for things."

"All I ask...is that you're happy."

"I want you to be happy too." Jungkook pouted.

"I am happy Jungkook." Jimin kissed him once.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." Jimin laughed a little. "But hey, I'm serious, please just tell me when things are bothering you. I'm here to listen."

"Okay. Next time...I promise I will. You- you too. Tell me whenever you have something on your mind."

"Promise." Jimin smiled at him.

____

Now, considering all of that. Considering their years together, their communication, their love for one another, their strong bond. Considering their dates and time together, their small fights and bigger efforts to make themselves happier, their parties and celebrations, their sadness and losses, their friendship and relationship as a couple. Their confessions and conversations of possibly furthering their relationship. Considering all of that...

Jungkook was utterly confused when a couple policemen knocked on their door.

"Good morning, is this Park Jimin's residence?" One ask politely, Jungkook barely awake and confused.

"Yes? Is there...something I can help you with officers?" Jungkook felt like something was wrong. Maybe there was just a robbery around the neighborhood, but well...they were in a rather rich neighborhood with the best security so...maybe it was something else.

"Yes, we were wondering if we could ask you a few questions?"

"Oh...Jimin isn't home right now." Jungkook gave a small smile.

"Oh, my apologizes! So you are?..."

"I'm Jeon Jungkook. I live here." Jungkook gave a small smile. "Can I help you officers?"

"Yes, we were wondering if we could ask you a few questions?" They gave a polite smile when Jungkook didn't answer. "May we?"

"My apologizes..." Jungkook looked at them both with concern. "Please, come inside."

Jungkook let the two police officers inside their house, the three sitting at the dinning table.

"How may I help you?" Jungkook looked between them with wide eyes. "Do you need anything to drink?"

"We're fine, thank you sir. Mind if we start on the questions?"

"No, please, go ahead." Jungkook looked between them. What could they possible be here for?

"Have you been in contact with Mr. Park recently?"

"Yes, every day."

"How long have you two lived together?"

"Coming up on 7 years. What is this about?" Jungkook was confused.

"Sir...his father has been missing for 6 years." They looked...grim.

Jungkook didn't understand. "Yes, that's true. He left the family in...in a fit of rage. He has been missing."

"...his body was found just last week. The circumstances in which we found him seem to lead to a murder, and Park Jimin is a prime suspect." They broke the news. "So...please, if you can help us, we'd love to prove us wrong too."

Jungkook was shocked, his eyes going wide. "No, no, there is no way Jimin would do such a thing. Could do such a thing. He's been home!" Jungkook looked at the table, unable to bare to look at the policemen.

"We're on your side sir, we don't want to assume and we hope he didn't, but we need to confirm that. How often is he home?"

"Every day." Jungkook felt like crying.

"What is your relationship with him?"

Jungkook paused. "We're friends. We've been friends since high school. I promise you, he couldn't hurt a fly. He wouldn't do something like that. He couldn't."

"We understand sir-"

"No you don't." Jungkook felt angry for Jimin. This was ridiculous. This was outrageous! How could they possibly think that Jimin was a suspect? His father had ran off after Jimin's mother had brought up having a divorce, and then Jimin came home. That was it. That was absolutely it.

It wasn't Jungkook's place to out Jimin though. And he didn't feel comfortable explaining their actual relationship.

"Then can you help explain to us?" They asked politely, but Jungkook didn't like it.

"You don't know him, of course you wouldn't understand. He is kind and giving, and there is no way he could've possibly done this. Especially since he's been home with me, he hasn't seen his father in years." Jungkook looked up at them, a little angry still.

"We understand, please, we aren't trying to cause anger. We just need some answers. Where was he the last time he was with his father?"

"They were...they were on a business trip. I- I don't really remember where they went, it was years ago. They went a lot of places. But the- the three of them went together as a family, Jimin and his parents. B-but I don't see how he could be a suspect if h-his fathers body was found only recently..."

Things were starting to settle in. Jimin's father had died. He was dead. That was- that was so much to take in. He held his head in his hands. He was going to have to tell Jimin, unless- well, no it seemed they were on their way here to tell him. Oh god no, no no no no no-

"Sir?" One of them spoke softly. "I'm sorry for the information, we know it's a lot to take in."

Jungkook felt angry. No they didn't. They definitely didn't understand. Neither of their partners had been accused of murder. "...do you have any more questions?" He spoke quietly.

"Will there be a time we could come back to ask Mr. Park questions?"

"He's a busy man, perhaps the weekend would be the best time." Jungkook felt horrible. He felt absolutely horrible.

"I see. Well, thank you for your time, we understand it's a lot to take in, but if you have anything else to help us, please...give a call."

"Okay." Jungkook stood with them, showing them to the door as they gave him a number. "I will."

They gave a smile and thanked him again before heading off.

Jungkook closed the door and immediately held his heart, leaning against the door. He was breathing heavily yet unable to breathe. Why did he lie? Why did he lie to the police? Why was he so angry, so untrusting, so- so- he had to call Jimin.

He called Jimin immediately, peaking out the window to see if they were still there. They were gone, but Jungkook didn't feel any better.

Jimin answered after a couple rings. "What's up bunny? Get lonely? I promise I'll be home tonight at a decent time."

"U-um I-" Jungkook felt panicked, walking to find somewhere to sit.

"Hey, are you alright Jungkook?" His tone shifted, obviously filled with concern at a panicked Jungkook. "You know what I can actually come home even sooner if you're not okay, seriously today isn't a big deal." Jungkook could hear Jimin stand up. "Joy, cancel my meeting, if you can reschedule-"

Jungkook tried to catch up. "Wait wait, no, you don't have to-"

"I'll come home don't worry. Tell me what's wrong, if you're having a panic attack please tell me how to help." He spoke softly as he packed up to come home.

"N-no Jimin, it's- I- the police just came by and- and I- I'm...I can't...I..." Jungkook stuttered, trying not to cry. "I want you home." He bit down his lip so it didn't waver.

"I'm on my way Jungkook, please, stay on the phone with me." He could hear Jimin talking to some other people as he was walking. Some simply rescheduling, and some simple goodbyes. "Are you okay? Why did they come by?"

"I'm- I'm okay, it's just, it really scared me I guess. I'm sorry, this- I'm making a huge deal-"

"Hey, don't go doing that to yourself. If you're feeling bad you're feeling bad. I'm on my way home, okay?"

"Okay..." Jungkook tried to calm down. He just really didn't know how to tell Jimin. He wanted to comfort him and tell him it was all going to be alright. "I..." he took a deep breath before letting it out. "I'd like to tell you when you get home."

"Okay bunny...well, are you alright?" He heard Jimin get in the car.

"I'm...frazzled. To say the least." Jungkook felt a little calmer talking to Jimin. "U-um how was your day?"

"It was busy. I'm always happy to have you call me you know, seeing your name even just on my screen makes my day." Jimin spoke softly, Jungkook closing his eyes and nodding.

"Yours does too. I like when you call me on your lunch break, I love your voice. Busy day?"

"Yeah." Jimin laughed a little. "It was busy. I had to make a lot of phone calls and had a lot of meetings. And it's only 1pm!"

"Ah, sorry it was so much work." Jungkook was only going to make his day worse. "Sorry."

"No no, don't apologize bunny." Jimin was still being so kind to him, even though he knew something was wrong. "My day will be better once I get home since I'll be able to be there to give you ease. I'd love to touch on the subject, but if you'd rather I be home to tell me, then I'll wait."

"Please. I'd rather...have you here." Jungkook felt bad. He felt beyond just bad, actually, he felt horrible. He- he didn't even understand the feeling. He felt bad...for Jimin. Kind of. He felt more upset that he was even accused of murder than the damn asshole being dead.

Jungkook knew Jimin's father was a horrible man. He knew their relationship was bad. He knew it wasn't an ideal living situation, and he knew why Jimin lived alone during high school. He knew why he came home too.

But Jimin would never go as far as to kill. He was kind, he was lovely, he was an angel among men, he wasn't a killer.

"I'll be home soon bunny, don't worry. Did you eat lunch?"

"No..." Jungkook spoke quietly. "I simply forgot."

"Can you eat anything for me at the moment? Even just a banana, some nuts, something small." Jimin was still full of concern.

"Yeah, I can do that. U-um..." Jungkook tried to think of something else to bring up. "Um I finally finished my video game. I know you don't really care, but I'm sure you watched me play it enough times." He got up in search of something small to eat. He still felt bad though.

"Oh nice! Did you like it? What would you rate it?"

"Mmmm...maybe an eight out of ten. The visuals were stunning and I liked the gameplay but the story was sort of simple. Not bad, but boring." He took a banana and slowly started eating it. "...how close are you?"

"Pretty close bunny, I'm almost home. You really should've eaten lunch, now you won't eat until dinner by how nervous you sound. You sure you're okay?"

"Like I said...just frazzled. I'm confused and upset." Jungkook drank some water. "I just want you to be home."

"I'm almost there Jungkook, you're seriously worrying me." Jimin exhaled. "And you won't tell me now?"

"I'd rather you be home." Jungkook nodded. "Really, it would be best if you were home."

"Ah, alright. Well, give me a minute bunny, I'll be right there. Gosh you sound like you desperately need a hug."

"I do." Jungkook sat back down on the couch. "I...I'm...I'm sorry..."

"Shh, don't apologize, there's nothing to apologize for."

Jungkook heard the car door outside, so he got up to unlock the door. He opened it, Jimin smiling at him on instinct. He hung up.

"Oh Jungkookie, you look so pale." Jimin went inside the house, hugging him immediately. "Oh dear, what happened?" He led him further inside the house, still hugging him. He set his bag down with his coat on the couch, brushing Jungkook's hair out of his eyes.

Jungkook opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

"It's okay, it's okay." Jimin held his hand, rubbing his thumb over it. "Can you start at the beginning?"

"W-well some policemen came to the door and asked for you." Jungkook pouted, trying to understand what had really happened. "They brought some bad news, I'm- I'm really sorry Jimin, they um..." Jungkook tried to find the right words, but truly, there wasn't. "They found your dad..."

Jimin held his hand a little tighter. "Oh?" His atmosphere changed. A little angrier. "And?"

"Um...Jimin, they found his body..." Jungkook spoke quietly. He didn't know how to say it. He didn't want to say it.

"Oh." Jimin squeezed Jungkook's hand. "Are you okay? Oh gosh that's a lot to take in alone." Jimin moved closer, pulling Jungkook into a hug. He rocked him back and forth a little. "Are you alright Jungkook? I'm so sorry you're frazzled."

"Am I okay? Are you?" Jungkook held him tightly. He didn't know why Jimin was taking the news so lightly. "He's your father, not mine."

"...Jungkook, I'm really sorry...but...I don't care. He was really horrible to me and my mother. I'm...I wish he could've gone to jail instead, but...but I'm not sad." Jimin held Jungkook tightly. "I'm more upset that they-wait you said policemen came by? What did they say?"

Jungkook wanted to cry.

So he did.

"They said that- that you're a prime- suspect Jimin, I-" he cried into Jimin's arms. "And- and it just felt so bad, I- I can't-" he hiccuped his words, trying to get them out.

"Oh gosh, that's definitely something to upset you." Jimin rubbed his back. "Mm. What did you tell them?"

"Well I said that- that you haven't seen him in years." Jungkook sniffed, trying to calm down. "And it just doesn't make sense. None of it makes sense!" He tried to calm down. "I don't get it Jimin, I don't get it."

"It's okay. I'm sure it's just all a big misunderstanding. You're right, I haven't seen him in years. Did- did they say anything in particular?"

"They want to ask you some questions. And- and I'm sorry, I- I couldn't say that we were dating." Jungkook felt some shame. "I don't know- I- I lied to them I-" Jungkook felt horrible, holding Jimin tighter as he cried into his chest.

"It's okay Jungkook, it's okay. I promise, it's all just a big misunderstanding. I'll have to call my mother and see if we can clear the air. Oh you poor thing, my poor baby, I'm so sorry you had to go through that alone, I'm glad I came home."

Jungkook nodded. "I was so upset- how- how could they-"

"Shhh, it's okay." Jimin let Jungkook curl into his lap as best he could, however big he was. Jungkook was always like a dog that forgot it was no longer a puppy, but Jimin never seemed to mind. "I'm so sorry Jungkookie, I wish I'd have been there. I'll fix this up, okay?"

Jungkook nodded again.

"Okay. Did you eat a little something?"

Jungkook nodded, still trying to stop crying.

"Good." Jimin kept soothing him. "Are you hungry?"

"No." Jungkook sniffed.

"Okay."

Jimin comforted him for a lot longer, the two of them taking as long as Jungkook needed to feel better.

They ate a small dinner, Jungkook still utterly frazzled. He really was out of it, exhausted from the day. He went to bed early.

He was sort of in and out as he woke up, dazed. He didn't know what time it was, but he heard Jimin's voice in the hall.

"Yeah, yeah. Okay. I can do that, that'll be easy. You'll come down, really? There's no need mom, I'll be fine- no- no, Jungkook's fine. Really, I'll be fine..." he was talking softly, Jungkook barely able to hear him.

"I'll go in and answer their questions, there's no harm in doing so." He sounded a little...scared. "I'll be fine. Really mom, I'll be fine. Really! We'll both be fine. I'll keep you updated of course...we'll be fine." Jimin spoke quietly. "It didn't seem like they had anything, okay? If anything I only almost got outed..."

Jungkook couldn't hear the rest, but he was definitely awake now. Jimin sounded...actually concerned. This was a whole mishap, of course Jimin was concerned. But of course, it was also a misunderstanding, so it would all be okay.

Everything was going to be okay.

Jimin came into the room quietly, seeing Jungkook awake. "Oh! I'm sorry, did I wake you? I tried to be quiet..." he slowly got ready for bed.

"No, I just woke up." Jungkook rubbed his eyes, sitting up.

"Good rest?" Jimin got in bed next to him.

"Mmm...not sure. I'm just still so confused."

"Don't worry Jungkook, I'm going to fix things up. I just called my mom, so I'll be alright, okay? She'll get in contact with them and I'll go in to answer some questions and clear the air." Jimin kissed him once on the cheek. "I know you're worried, but please, I'll fix things up so don't worry about it."

"How can I not?" Jungkook pouted. "I'm worried for you. This kind of thing isn't easy to just- this isn't something to brush away." Jungkook shook his head. "I'm sorry, it doesn't seem I was able to rest after all."

"I'm sorry bunny. I'm trying to think positively about this. I know it's a lot, but I'll fix it. I'll fix it, okay?" Jimin sighed.

"You're stressed about it too." Jungkook looked at him. "It's okay to be stressed about it you know."

"I'll fix it Jungkook." Jimin was serious, stern even.

Jungkook shook his head. "It's not really fixable is it?"

"It is." Jimin sighed and sat up. "If I fix it, we'll be fine. And I can fix it, since it's all a misunderstanding and I'll make it better."

Jungkook remembered this about Jimin. Conflicts were not allowed to be prolonged around him, since he was too much of an empath and prolonged bad feelings drained him.

"...Jimin..." Jungkook pulled Jimin into his arms. "It was a lot to take in. I'm sorry you're feeling it all."

"I'm more sorry for you. You sounded so panicked over the phone, I just wanted to be there for you." Jimin tried to relax in Jungkook's arms. "My moms coming over."

"Oh? Right, your phone call..." Jungkook didn't know what to make of it.

"Yeah. She's coming over to square things out. Give them some proof of times and places since I was just a kid the last time I saw him." Jimin sighed. "Whatever they need."

"...okay. We'll be fine. This was just so sudden. I don't even know if I should feel sorry for him."

"Don't." Jimin sighed deeply. "Don't feel bad for him, he's been nothing but a horrible man. Don't feel sorry for someone who doesn't deserve your kindness. I'm glad he never met you." Jimin sighed again, trying to relax. "Sorry."

"No, I get it. I don't think I wanted to meet him either. And I definitely didn't want him to meet my parents...god, I would feel so inferior..."

"Yeah. He would've tried to make you feel that way." Jimin kissed his cheek again. "I love you Jungkook. You know that, right? I'm always going to love you."

"I know Jimin. I love you too." Jungkook took a deep breath and let it out. "I love you so much Jimin, so I'm really upset by this because I love you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

"Thank you Jungkook. I don't deserve you." Jimin spoke quietly.

"Yes you do. I don't deserve you."

"But I love you."

"But I love you! So we're in the same boat." Jungkook kissed him on the forehead.

Jimin laughed a little. "Okay okay, you win. Thank you Jungkook...really...thank you."

____

Jungkook waited for Jimin to get back from the police station. They'd gotten up early when Jimin's mother came by, and the two left as soon as they could. Jungkook didn't particularly want to go, but he also didn't want to stay home, but he didn't want to feel anxious while there. He wasn't even allowed in the room at the same time, so what was the point.

He simply deep cleaned the house to make himself feel better.

He did the laundry, he cleaned the kitchen, he made the bed, he vacuumed, and then he made breakfast for himself before he did the dishes. He was dusting when they came back.

"Jimin!" Jungkook turned to the door with a smile.

"Jungkookie! We brought some food." Jimin came in with a bag, his mother behind him.

"Jungkook, it's good to see you again. I haven't seen you in so long." She gave him a hug when he came over.

"Did it go well?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with wide eyes.

Jimin nodded. "It did."

"Oh good!" Jungkook relaxed with a smile.

Jimin's mother smiled at them. "I have to go now, you two...keep being good." She eyed Jimin, who smiled in acknowledgment.

"Come again soon, please, we'd be happy to have you." Jungkook smiled at her. She'd always been nice to him.

She left, leaving Jungkook and Jimin.

"So it really went well?" Jungkook took their food to the table, the both of them starting to eat.

"It did! I mean seriously, I was just a kid, I'm not sure how they assumed what they did, but we explained the divorce attempt and the um...the circumstances." Jimin smiled thinly.

"Ah...all of it?"

"Well...most of it." Jimin gave a pained smile. "I'm sorry Jungkook, we're just safer if we're not public about our relationship. I'm really sorry."

"Hey, I'm not upset." Jungkook smiled at him. "I don't want media at our house or at either of our jobs. Like you said, we don't need to show each other off cause we know we're happy."

"Yeah. I just wish I didn't have to worry about holding your hand or kissing you in public."

"Well...yeah. But it's fine." Jungkook shook his head. "Really, it's fine."

"Hey so I was thinking something..." Jimin poked at his food.

"Yeah?" Jungkook looked up at him.

"So since this was taxing on us, especially you, what if we had a little break? It's a good time to travel." Jimin smiled at him. "We could travel around the world, just like we said we wanted to."

"Oh! That's- that would be amazimg! B-but what about everyone else?" Jungkook didn't know how his parents would feel. "What about our friends? My parents?"

"It'll be fine! It's not like we're going to be gone forever! I'll call Taehyung and we can text the others, but really, it's a trip. We'll be back." Jimin smiled at him, pushing the idea.

"I mean, it sounds lovely but I'm just not sure."

"How come?"

"Well, I don't know, it feels very sudden." Jungkook thought about it. "Very sudden."

"It'll ease our minds. I'll do all the plane flights and all the planning of places to stay. You can help pick places to visit and eat. That's the fun part anyways."

"This really is sudden!" Jungkook was confused.

"I want to make us feel better, and why not with a trip?" Jimin smiled at him. "We've always wanted to, why not go now?"

Jungkook laughed a little in confusion. "Is this what rich people do? Just go on a trip when they feel bad? Shouldn't we stay in case they need more information?"

"My mother will be here, she can take care of it."

"But you're an adult-"

"It happened when I wasn't." Jimin was still smiling. "So?"

"I'll think about it."

"I'm thinking real soon." Jimin ate a little. "Like this week."

"What?! I can't get time off that quickly!" Jungkook was confused. "Why're you being like this? I need more time than this, why so soon Jimin?"

"Cause! We can. And we should. We need to let loose again. You were saying we should go on more dates, and I thought we should take it to the extreme. Let's go everywhere." Jimin smiled at him. "I promised you anything Jungkook. Remember?"

"Jimin I can't get off work like that."

"You're barely working anyways, I'm sure they'll understand."

"This doesn't feel like a conversation." Jungkook stopped eating.

"I want to do something nice for us. For once, really, I've promised a lot and I haven't done enough." Jimin frowned. "Do you not want to?"

"I do, but I'm not sure if we should go so soon! I- I really can't get off work that soon."

"Ask at least?"

"Jimin."

"Jungkook." Jimin looked at him with a small smile. "Do you want to go with me or not?"

Jungkook felt like something was off. "I do. Of course I do, but this feels like we're running away somehow."

"We aren't running away. I just want to give us some ease after these last few days. We were stressed and I want to be unstressed. With you of course. So. Will you come with me?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"I-" Jungkook sighed. "Jimin, this is odd."

"Do you want to come or not?" Jimin gave him an odd smile. As if he was the weird one, not Jimin.

"Of course I do, but-"

"No buts. We should go and have some fun. Some relaxation. I've heard Switzerland is beautiful and perfect for just that." Jimin laughed a little. "We could even visit Paris. Anywhere, really. Anywhere you want."

"I'm...this is a lot Jimin. I haven't traveled anywhere since we've settled in. Are you sure about this?"

"I'm positive! I promised you that I would show you around the world, so I'm going to do that. Besides, we deserve to relax and have some fun!" He smiled at Jungkook. "So...any ideas of where to go?"

"I..." Jungkook sighed. "I don't know, this is really sudden."

"When you think of traveling, where do you think of going?"

"I guess...maybe Paris? Maybe Tokyo? But I think we need a little relaxation first before we start touristing."

"Okay...so...here's an idea. Spend a week or so in Switzerland, find a nice little Airbnb that's away from the city and just...relax. Then we can travel around." Jimin tapped his lip in contemplation. "Yeah...that sounds nice."

"Well...that does sound nice..." Jungkook could imagine it. The greenery, the gorgeous water, the quiet.

"Mk...good. I'll start some planning and stuff." Jimin smiled happily.

Jungkook felt like he'd lost at their conversation somehow. Even though it wasn't a competition, he felt...like this was more than spontaneous.

Something simply just felt off.

____

They set off on their first flight, Jungkook excited to be in the air for the first time in his life. He'd called his parents, telling them of their plans, before they packed and got ready to leave nearly immediately. As soon as they possibly could.

It was odd, but hey...at least they were together and at least they were going to relax. They both deserved it after all the hard work they'd done to get at this point, especially Jimin, and Jungkook was excited for their little getaway. He needed it.

He needed that time alone with Jimin without any hang ups or other people or responsibilities or worries. Just him and Jimin.

They got to their destination, a nice little cottage outside of the bigger city, where they could be alone and relax and freeze in the water if they really wanted to. Jimin knew a little of the languages, but Jungkook didn't know anything.

But he had to admit, as he brought their bags into their cottage...the place was beautiful. He didn't need to understand the language to understand that.

Jungkook got their luggage into their room while Jimin put their groceries for the week away.

"Okay. We've got enough food, tickets for the next place, and a bunch of free time. What's first?" Jimin smiled at him.

"I'm dead tired Jiminie. I'm weak to plane trips." He smiled back at him sleepily. "I know I slept most of the way, but god I'm out of it."

"Let's rest outside! We'll get some good air, it'll help." Jimin took the sleepy Jungkook by the hand outside, their little cottage having a nice porch.

"It's gorgeous here hyung." Jungkook smiled as he took it in, sitting down. The hills were so green, the air was so nice, he swore he couldn't imagine somewhere better at the moment.

"Isn't it? I can't wait to explore a little, but you're right, we need a day to sit down and soak it in. I haven't traveled in so long..."

"Yeah...it's been a while..." Jungkook looked at him. He'd taken his fathers passing very well, and immediately traveling just like the last time he'd been with his father seemed like a poor idea to Jungkook.

But Jimin really seemed...fine. Completely fine. Jimin met his gaze. "I'm glad I'm here with you. I can't wait to travel with you Jungkook, I've always wanted to. This'll be really fun, I promise!" Jimin looked at the chair he was going to sit in before sitting down on Jungkook's lap.

Jungkook held him, still tired and jet lagged. "Yeah? It'll be relaxing?"

"Mhm. How could it not be? Look at this place...it makes me wish for a life like this instead of a life in the city. I'm horrible at this sort of work though...I'd be a good housewife." Jimin laughed quietly. "I could learn how to make more food and more homemade things. Oo, there's a lovely little lake down the hill too, we should go one of these days."

"Mmm...that does sound relaxing." Jungkook smiled, pulling Jimin into a larger hug. "I can't wait to relax with you angel." He sighed. "I definitely need it."

"I'll help take your mind off of it." Jimin brushed his hair away and kissed his forehead. "I'll do my very best to ease your mind."

"Mmmm...the sun is nice..." Jungkook honestly could've taken a nap, he was so exhausted.

"Yeah, you can feel like a lovely little cat, basking in the sun." Jimin kissed him once. "If you want you can go to bed and rest for a while."

"I might..." Jungkook laughed tiredly. "But I wanna be in the sun too..."

"Then only take a little nap. I'll wake you up before dinner, how does that sound?" Jimin kissed him again.

"Mmmm~" Jungkook smiled. "I like the sound of that."

"Perfect. Then I can do that for you." Jimin giggled and kissed him again, this time Jungkook wanting a little more. He held Jimin's waist, kissing him softly but not holding back. Jimin soothed the back of his neck, until he pulled away slowly. "Okay, before you wake up, you should head to bed."

"Yeah yeah..." Jungkook smiled as he saw Jimin's cheeks turn a little red. "You just don't want my kisses, how could you." He teased him, loving how Jimin could be bashful.

"I never said that." Jimin smiled and got off of him. "I just don't want you to wake up while you're tired." He looked around at their scenery before looking back at Jungkook. "Well?"

"Alright alright."

Jungkook stood up and took in their view again. The hills were green and swayed in the kind breeze, the distant sound of water rushing calming Jungkook to his core, and Jimin made everything seem better and brighter.

Jimin led him to the bedroom, kissing him on the forehead. "Rest well Jungkook, I hope you feel better after your nap."

"Thanks hyung." Jungkook smiled sleepily.

____

Jungkook woke up slowly as he felt Jimin lay on top of him. "Hey sleepy head." Jimin spoke quietly, Jungkook slowly getting his hands out from under the blankets and on Jimin's waist.

"Mmm." Jungkook didn't open his eyes, his hands rubbing up Jimin's back and then down to his ass, continuing the up and down movements.

"It's dinner time~ I made something nice." Jimin cuddled him a little, Jungkook kissing him softly.

"Yeah?" Jungkook smiled and kissed Jimin more, running his hands up Jimin's shirt.

"Mm!" Jimin was first surprised, then gave in, kissing Jungkook back slowly. Jungkook was always needy when he woke up, loving how cute Jimin was and how easy he was to agree to his wants. "J-Jungkook-"

"Mmm~" Jungkook smiled as Jimin pulled away. "Yes?"

"Get your hand out of my pants." Jimin laughed a little, kissing him one more time.

"Whaaat? I'm not doing anything." Jungkook smiled and rubbed his ass softly. "You're just too cute when you lay on top of me Jiminie. How am I supposed to keep my hands off of you, hm?"

"J-Jungkook I made dinner." Jimin blushed red. "We should eat it?"

"Mmm~ lemme wake up a bit first." Jungkook still didn't open his eyes. "Lemme feel you for a moment."

"B-b-but we've got a meal on the table!" Jimin gasped a little as Jungkook put his other hand up Jimin's back. "Jungkook!"

"Mhm?" Jungkook kissed at his neck, letting his hands continue to rub and soothe. "You're so kind to me Jiminie, really, so kind."

Jimin shivered. "I- Jungkook I thought you wanted- I thought you wanted to be better?"

"Mmm, this and that are different things." Jungkook opened an eye, glancing at Jimin. He grinned when he saw how cute he looked.

"J- Jungkook-"

"Mmm~ yes?"

"I thought-"

"But we've got a free week."

"F-for dates! Right?" Jimin blushed, giving a small embarrassed smile.

"Well, we can have the best of both worlds right?" Jungkook grinned.

"S-sure but we should eat dinner first and watch the sun set."

"Mm, good attempt to convince me." Jungkook kissing him again, letting him go. "What'd you make?" He rolled over, holding Jimin down.

"Ahhh, Jungkook come on, no more sleepiness, you've gotta eat." Jimin sighed with a smile. "Please?"

"Okay okay, you win." Jungkook kissed him and sat up, stretching a little. "Is the sun still out?"

"It is, but not for too much longer if we don't get out there for dinner." Jimin sat up too, a little disheveled now. "Jesus I don't know how I always forget how handsy you are when you wake up." Jimin stood and readjusted his pants, brushing down his sweater.

Jungkook laughed a little shyly. "Sorry hyung..." he ruffled his hair, still sleepy. "I just like how cute you are..."

"Gotta get a meal in, that's all!" Jimin smiled at him. "I don't mind if you touch, you know this."

"Mm." Jungkook nodded and stood up, following Jimin to the dinning room. "Oh wow, this is so nice."

"Let's eat outside! I didn't want to set it up outside until we were ready to eat." Jimin started to take their bowls and plates, Jungkook helping take the heavier dishes out to their porch.

They set up quickly, starting to eat as the soft breeze made them take in the moment. They sparked some easy conversation, Jimin excited for their week, and Jungkook simply loving him. He was just so pathetically in love.

What would he even do without Jimin?

____

Jungkook spent their days in the nearby water and relaxing on the grass, while Jimin would read his books out loud to him. The simply shared the time and moments together, nothing special, just...together. Simply home dates, no wifi, just good meals, the Airbnb's record collection, and home cooked meals.

Jungkook did his best to keep his hands off of Jimin, but mostly he had a good time just existing with Jimin. He felt like this was good for them.

Yet...something was definitely bothering him. The whole situation was just a little bit off. Someone was wrong, yet...nothing was wrong. He just had an odd gut feeling.

"Where are you thinking next?" Jimin stirred some lemonade after a phone call with his mother, as he stared out the window, still stunned by the place.

"Mmm...I've always wanted to go to Japan."

"Then let's do it! Sure you don't want to go anywhere in Europe first? Since it's closer."

"Mmm...maybe...Paris?" Jungkook was surely out of it, as he sat inside and stared out the window. He just wasn't focused.

Jimin seemed to catch on. "Still not okay?" He went over, rubbing Jungkook's shoulders. "Still thinking about it huh?"

"How could I not?" Jungkook sighed, but relaxed and closed his eyes as Jimin started to massage his shoulders and neck. "It's not something easy to forget or ignore."

"Mmm." Jimin shrugged. "I guess it just is for me. I'm not in mourning, and I know it wasn't me so I'm not concerned."

"...I guess I'll just never understand that." Jungkook loved his parents. He didn't understand how someone couldn't. He didn't understand how parents could be horrible, but he'd heard about what Jimin's dad had done and...well, maybe it was best this way.

"Gosh you are just not relaxing!" Jimin laughed a little. "Let me treat you then."

"Hm? This is well enough of a treat." Jungkook winced slightly as Jimin dug his thumbs into his muscles. "Ow."

"Mmm...I'm saying more of a treat. This is our vacation after all." Jimin dug into a tougher spot, Jungkook wincing again, before relaxing. "Feel okay?"

"Mmmm." Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, that feels good."

"Good. I haven't in a long time, sorry."

"Don't apologize." Jungkook laughed a little, before he closed his eyes. Jimin's hands felt nice as he slipped them inside his shirt to get the muscles better. "It's not like it's a requirement of you."

"But I like easing you!"

"Still isn't something you need to do." Jungkook smiled. Jimin was always there for him.

"I don't mind. No, I want to." Jimin corrected his statement. "I feel best when I make you feel happy." He nodded, his hands going to Jungkook's chin. He lifted his head, making him lean back so they could see each other. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook smiled as he opened his eyes. "You know how I feel."

"I do." Jimin smiled at him before kissing him. "I take pride in knowing you."

Jungkook looked at him fondly. "You're too sweet. What if I have too much of your sweetness?"

"Then you'll have to get a cavity, cause I'm not stopping." Jimin giggled and kissed him again before going around the couch and sitting on his lap. "You won't get tired of me, right?"

"Of course not."

"And you won't leave me?"

"Jimin!" Jungkook hugged him. "Why would you ask that?"

"You just seem so stressed." Jimin caressed his face. "I hope it isn't changing your opinion of me."

"Jimin." Jungkook looked at him and shook his head. "I love you. Why are you questioning that?"

"Mm...not...questioning. Just...confirming." Jimin smiled a little. "I know you're stressed. I understand. But there's no need to worry."

Jungkook hugged him tighter. "Okay. I'll...I'll take your word for it."

"Good good. Shoulders feel better?"

"Yeah, thank you Jimin."

"Can I make you feel even better?" Jimin pulled away from the hug, smiling.

"...Jimin?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. He was still a little afraid of being sexual with Jimin, since he was still a bit obsessed with him. Jimin wasn't helping him calm down either.

"It's okay, right? If it's just me?" Jimin giggled a little, before moving his hips down on Jungkook's lap a little. "It's okay to say no if you don't want to."

"W-well, you know I can't say no." Jungkook laughed a little nervously. "You're lovely a-and I'm captivated by you."

"You could say no." Jimin kissed his neck, his hands slipping up Jungkook's shirt and moving his sweats down.

"I won't." Jungkook closed his eyes and let Jimin have him. He was so easy, but honestly, he loved giving into Jimin. He loved giving Jimin his body to do with what he pleased...it made him feel good. Jimin made him feel good.

"Mmm~" Jimin smiled and bit his neck softly, nibbling it as he raised his hips, pulling Jungkook's sweats down. "I'll make you feel good, promise."

Jungkook laughed a little. "You don't even have to promise, cause you always do. No matter what."

"How kind of you." Jimin grinned and sat down on Jungkook's crotch, rolling his hips while running his hands up Jungkook's shirt. "You're so pliant..." Jimin spoke softly as he kissed a love bite into Jungkook's neck. "...so cute..."

Jungkook smiled shyly. "C-cute?"

"Mmm~ mhm. So very cute."

Jungkook shivered as he hardened, feeling a little embarrassed at how easy he was but, well...he just gave in. "H-how?"

"Cause! You're already hard from just a little bit of teasing." Jimin laughed as he slowly moved off of Jungkook.

"Oh fuck me." Jungkook exhaled as he opened his eyes to see Jimin in front of him on the floor. "Seriously?"

"Mhm! Any objections?" Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook laughing and lifting his hips, pulling his clothes down for him. Jimin laughed. "Okay then, it seems like there isn't."

"Fuck no, you're hot as hell." Jungkook was red in the cheeks but...he did love Jimin's mouth...

"Mm~ thank you." Jimin grinned proudly, mouthing over Jungkook's tip. "I'll ease your mind."

Jungkook shivered a little. "Jesus fuck."

"Ah- only me." Jimin pouted a little, Jungkook watching his small hand slowly and softly touch his base. "Okay sweetheart? Only my name."

"Fuck, okay Jimin." Jungkook felt impatient. He wanted Jimin to take him already. "Mm~"

Jimin smiled rather triumphantly as he continued to mouth over his tip, rubbing the base slowly. "You've really been holding back, hm?"

"Sorry- sorry I-" Jungkook felt embarrassed, but Jimin just laughed.

"Well...then I'll indulge you today." Jimin kept his smile as he continued, slowly adding more in his mouth.

Fuck, Jungkook hated how turned on he already was, but Jimin just had that affect on him. His body felt hot, while Jimin simply continued, adding a little more in his mouth. Jungkook couldn't look away; he was always entranced by Jimin, but fuck, he was so pretty...he loved...he hated how much he loved Jimin in this position. He hated how much he loved Jimin taking his cock like this, getting his saliva-

Fuck Jungkook was red, he hated it. He hated how much he loved it. How much he looked forward to it, how easy he was.

But he couldn't look away, as Jimin took him whole, one hand holding his base, while his other went down to touch himself.

"Ah- ah, Jimin d-don't...don't touch yourself." Jungkook huffed, leaning his head back a little as Jimin only continued.

Jimin gave Jungkook a mere glance before not listening to him. He simply continued, Jungkook groaning and closing his eyes.

"Jimin shit- fuck, Jimin goddamn it."

Jimin moaned softly around his dick, Jungkook wanting to protest again but couldn't get much out other than another groan.

"Ah, Jimin fuck, goddamn it!" Jungkook shakily grabbed Jimin's hair. He didn't want to make him do anything, but goddamn it Jungkook was losing it already. "Fuck-" he choked, trying to get his thoughts together again.

But he hadn't really fucked Jimin in a while and he was getting antsy to do so again. Maybe Jimin would let him soon. But jesus fuck his mouth was busy at work and Jungkook couldn't help but tighten his hand and oh god his tongue.

Jimin licked the underside of Jungkook's cock as he went up, licking over the tip, before going back down and doing it all over again.

Jungkook couldn't do anything but huff out his breath and hold back shaky moans as he focused on the feeling.

Jimin would occasionally moan himself, but he didn't stop, Jungkook didn't know how much longer he could last- it definitely wasn't going to be long at this pace.

"Jimin-" Jungkook huffed, his hand trying to pull Jimin's head off of him as kindly as he could, his other hand inching up his own shirt.

Jimin glared at him and went down again, Jungkook groaning in understanding.

Jungkook came quickly, curling into himself a little and huffing once more, trying to catch his breath, as Jimin slowly popped off, licking and cleaning the rest off of Jungkook's cock. Jungkook stared down at him, his gaze intense as he took in Jimin.

He was red. His cheeks, his lips, his dick probably was too, but Jungkook couldn't see it. Jimin put his now free hand on the couch, sitting up a little and trying to release himself. "Ah- fuck Jungkook, you're so stupidly hot, you make the prettiest sounds-" Jimin shut his eyes, moaning. "Fuck, fuck I want to hear them forever."

"L-let me- let me do it hyung, please." Jungkook tried to catch his breath, sitting up only a little, his eyes never leaving Jimin.

"N-no 'm close, I'd come in a second." Jimin slowly rested his head on Jungkook's thigh, still just trying to get off.

Jungkook shakily sat up, his mind unclear. In fact, it was fully thinking about Jimin. Jimin, and his hands and his voice, his words, his encouragement, his sweet sweet sounds...oh god Jungkook wanted to fuck him.

Jimin moaned as he came quickly, breathing a little heavily on Jungkook's thigh. "Fuck..."

"Jimin." Jungkook stared down at him.

"Y-yes?" Jimin looked up at him, his cheeks red . "Ah, sorry I-" Jungkook stood up and pulled his clothes up. "Jungkook?"

Jungkook leaned down and picked Jimin up, throwing him over his shoulder. "I'm gunna have to do more."

"Ah! B-but!" Jimin protested, but Jungkook slapped his ass.

"Mmm~ sorry angel, I've been doing really well but I'm gunna need more today. Your mouth is just...mm, really gets me going." Jungkook laughed and threw him on the bed. "You're such a tease."

"I- I was just trying to- to help ease your mind!" Jimin blushed red, pulling himself together. "N-not encourage you!"

"You should've known." Jungkook laughed and got their lube and a condom. "I've been really trying to be polite, really, I have. But...mmmm..." Jungkook hummed as he took his shirt off.

"A-are you sure? You've been trying not to, right?" Jimin tried to sit up, but Jungkook pushed him down. "Jungkook, really!"

"I mean it." Jungkook hovered over him, starting to kiss his neck. "I want to."

"Are you- are you sure?"

"Mmmm~ mhm." Jungkook bit his neck, trying to get Jimin's clothes off. "You're too hot. Fuck."

"If- if you really want to then okay." Jimin held Jungkook's wrist to stop him. "But take it slow."

"Okay!" Jungkook smiled excitedly.

____

Jungkook wasn't getting better.

They'd finished their week in Switzerland, spent a week in Japan, and were currently spending a week in Paris.

And Jungkook couldn't keep his hands off of Jimin.

He was touchy, he was needy, he felt nearly desperate to be around him. So today...he was feeling a little odd.

They'd gone out for the day to just eat and shop, Jungkook having got his fill of the attractions and beauty.

"Okay there we go." Jimin sat down at their table. "They were so kind."

"I'm glad." Jungkook smiled a little at how sweet Jimin was being.

He knew it was taxing. It was taxing to go through that much physicality every other day. But...Jimin never stopped him. He gave in and then Jungkook would give in, and he was back at square one.

Jimin sighed a little with a pout. "Still thinking about it?"

"Sorry..." Jungkook mumbled. "I'm trying to just have fun with you in these new places." He shook his head. "But I keep making things worse."

"No you aren't!" Jimin hit Jungkook's knee with his own under the table. "No you aren't. I enjoy it."

"You've been so tired." Jungkook frowned, disappointed in himself. "I know you're tired."

"Sure it's a bit of energy, but I'm not upset, and I do enjoy our time together, and I love you." Jimin shook his head with a smile. "So whatever you want to do, I want to as well."

"But- but I- I need help." Jungkook laughed in disbelief. "I'm- I'm not- this isn't healthy."

"Hey." Jimin put a hand over Jungkook's. He looked at him softly. "If you really want that, then when we get home we can get that settled."

"I do. I don't want to...be...obsessed like this. It's unhealthy for both of us." Jungkook sighed. "I just can't get you out of my head."

"...there's nothing wrong with that. It's to the extreme though, right?" Jimin squeezed his hand.

"Yeah. Yeah it is." Jungkook shook his head. If he was being honest, he was thinking of Jimin right now.

"Okay. Until then...?"

"U-um turn me down. Every time."

"Every time?"

"Mhm. Until I can stop myself."

"Yes kissing?"

"Yes."

"No touching?"

"Only if you want it." Jungkook nodded. "Don't let me do anything."

"So I have to initiate everything?"

"Mmm...yeah."

"Just like old times then." Jimin smiled.

"Yeah. Just like old times." Jungkook laughed a little. "I just need to get better."

"Okay. We can-" their food arrived, the both of them thanking the waiter. "We can do better."

"You're not at fault."

"Well neither are you." Jimin smiled. "I'm not mad."

"Still."

"No still."

"Aish, whatever."

They had a nice meal, Jungkook trying desperately to focus on the meal and not Jimin's knee against his own. They held conversation easily, before Jimin's phone went off.

"Ah- it's my mother, I have to take this." Jimin stood up and smiled apologetically. "Here, if they come." He handed him his credit card before taking his leave.

Jungkook was sort of used to that. His mother checked in with them every week for perfectly good reasons.

He had a rather long call this time.

Jungkook paid for their food, even having time to pack their food and get the credit card back.

He got a little bored, as he held the credit card...and...and didn't know the name on it.

"What?" Jungkook looked over it again. "What?..."

It wasn't Jimin's name.

That's- this wasn't-

What?

Jimin came back in with a smile. "Good news! Mom said that the police are letting me and her off as suspects, but that she'd continue to help them with what they need. Isn't that amazing!"

"Jimin, who's card is this?" Jungkook handed it back to him.

"It's mine?..." Jimin took it back and put it away. "Oh. The name you mean. It's technically my mother's, but we use it for traveling." Jimin explained with a smile.

"Why isn't it in either of your names?" Jungkook couldn't understand. Why did this feel weird?

"Well...um...people like to count how much rich people spend and then say that we shouldn't have that money at all- you know. So uh..." Jimin laughed a little in embarrassment. "We use a separate bank account so it doesn't add to our business or our name. I know I know, it sounds really sleazy but this is what my mom does so it's what I do." Jimin shook his head, embarrassed now. "Sorry..."

"...that is sleazy." Jungkook looked at their packed food. "So...this is just normal. You just...lie? To be able to spend more money?"

"It's not traceable." Jimin gave him a look.

Jungkook...didn't...understand. That...something was up. Something was wrong. There was something he didn't understand.

"...we should go to our house." Jungkook wasn't done talking about it. He didn't like it.

"Ah. Sure." Jimin seemed to understand, as he pursed his lips and got up.

The two made their way back to their Airbnb, Jungkook pouting and not willing to talk. He didn't want to talk about it with other people around, even if they couldn't understand.

Jimin led them inside, setting down their things.

"...so?" Jimin sat on the couch, watching Jungkook pace. "What's on your mind?"

"...why the fuck do you need to be untraceable?" Jungkook hugged himself.

"...well...cause of the money..." Jimin sighed. "It's just how it works."

"Untraceable? Jimin what the fuck! Why are you- why are we running? We avoided all of the police and everything and I- it feels weird okay? I'm sorry but I am suspicious." Jungkook hugged himself tighter. "I'm sorry. I guess...it's been on my mind more often than not."

"...I'm sorry that I haven't been transparent with you." Jimin wrung his hands together, staring intensely at the ground.

"What?" Jungkook looked at him, stopping in his tracks.

"I said I'm sorry. I just love you so much that..." Jimin sighed, before slowly, slowly hanging his head in his hands. "I just wanted to protect you."

"From what?" Jungkook sat down on the footrest in front of Jimin. "Please...can you please explain it to me? I want to understand. I love you but..." Jungkook sighed and touched Jimin's hair softly. "But you're making it hard to trust you."

"I'm so sorry." Jimin looked up at him, his eyes a little teary. "I'm just scared."

"Scared?" Jungkook held Jimin's cheeks, trying to ease him at least a little. "Scared of what angel?"

"Of what you'll think of me." Jimin pouted a little, trying not to cry. "Cause I'm scared...of what you'll think of me."

"Jiminie, please, I want to understand. That's all. I'm still here with you, aren't I?"

"But will you be afterwards?"

"Jimin, please, now you are scaring me." Jungkook still held him. He didn't want to let him go. He couldn't let him go.

"...I did it." Jimin spoke quietly. He spoke so softly, that Jungkook leaned in.

"What?" Jungkook didn't understand. What did he do?

"I did it. My father he- Jungkook I didn't tell you the truth." Jimin looked away, breaking their contact. "I did come out to him. He knew very well that my mother wanted a divorce, many many years ago. But that night you called, asked me if I came out...I did."

"Jimin...I don't understand..."

"He...attacked me in a fit of rage." Jimin stared at the ground between them, slowly holding his head in his hands again. "My mother tried to get him off but...he just went for her next. I couldn't- I couldn't watch it again."

"...Jimin?..." Jungkook didn't know what was going on.

"I hit him on the back of the head with a trinket he had, I don't know what it was but he- I-" Jimin wiped his eyes. "...he didn't get up. And he was bleeding. And I- I- I just wanted to stop him from hurting my mom but I...never meant..."

Jungkook was silent in shock.

"I never meant for it to go so far." Jimin sniffed a little. "I just wanted to protect her for once in her life. She told me that I wouldn't be able to get out of it so we just had to lie and cover it up." Jimin gasped a little shakily to catch his breath as he spoke quietly. "It was so horrible."

Jungkook couldn't speak.

"I'm sorry. I really am. But...my mother told me not to tell anyone. Not a soul, cause it could get out somehow. And I...I was barely an adult and I didn't know what to do. I was so scared, so shaken, so- so confused. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. But...you wanted to understand. And that's what happened." Jimin looked up at him. "I'm sorry Jungkook. I just love you and wanted to protect you but...I understand if...you want to take some time to yourself..."

"I- Jimin this is so much to- to take in..."

"I know. And I'm sorry." Jimin shook his head. "All I've know in my life is that I love you and that you're worth everything to me." Jimin looked at him solemnly. "I love you and I always have."

Jimin had his eyes on Jungkook from the very beginning. Something about him...Jimin was just pulled to him. He'd noticed the new kid almost immediately, watching over him very carefully from afar to see how he was doing, which wasn't very good.

He was waiting for a good moment to talk to him, and it presented itself rather nicely. Smoothly.

Jimin wanted him.

He introduced himself, and immediately put himself in Jungkook's schedule. He learned Jungkook's school schedule, learned his home and work schedule, and pushed himself into his life.

It was easy, really. Jimin was just so entranced by the younger. He wanted to know him, to make him smile.

He just wanted to make him smile.

He'd see him his first day, scared, but excited to start somewhere new. He saw his smile...and then...he saw it fade for the rest of the two weeks.

He just wanted to make him smile.

So he did! He made Jungkook smile! He took all of his worries away.

He helped him in school. He helped him get into taekwondo, he helped his parents pay off their house and get sustainable jobs, he made sure that Jungkook's idiot of a boss didn't talk back to him again, he made sure no one ever bullied or touched Jungkook.

He wanted to make his life better and happier.

He wanted to make him smile. Laugh, be joyous, have a good time, have no worries.

Jimin even confessed to Jungkook, a little too soon, but hey, he was willing to go slow. He just wanted him.

He even confessed that he was trying to sneak into his life, and Jungkook had accepted him anyways!

Everything was great. Everything was perfect.

Jimin was unfathomably in love with him.

He'd tried to initiate some physical contact, Jungkook allowing for kissing but turning down sex. Jimin understood, but...he did want Jungkook to feel a connection to him. He knew that people in romantic relationships often had sexual ones as well, and he knew that most people felt connected to their partner while having sex. He wanted that a lot.

All Jimin wanted was for Jungkook to want him around. He just wanted to be a part of his life, wanted Jungkook to love him and mean it.

So he did what he thought was necessary for that. He made himself such a prominent part of Jungkook's life that he couldn't live without him.

Jimin really just loved him. Maybe he was too obsessed, maybe he was ill, maybe there was something wrong with him but when he was told at such a young age that he'd never be loved...he needed it. He needed to be loved by someone he was in love with.

After living with Jungkook for a couple years, Jimin started to calm down. His worries of Jungkook wanting to leave were gone, along with his worries of Jungkook not feeling the same way.

And he was happy! He was happy that Jungkook was happy. That was his favorite part of the day; seeing Jungkook smile was his one true joy in life.

But his one mistake in his life caught up to him and he didn't know how to get out of it again. So...he let his mother handle it like before. He listened to her, getting the two of them out and in hiding, while she dealt with the legal shit he didn't know how to manage.

His dirty laundry was something he'd tried to sweep under the bed but...there was always going to be questions.

What happened to his father? Why wasn't he back yet? Is he missing? Who will run the company? At such a young age? He's still single  even though he's 25?

Jimin wished he could've been born normal. Normal family, normal school, normal everything but the only thing he had was hardships.

A father who only accepted perfection. A mother who couldn't speak up for herself. A school that expected him to never have a sick day and help anyone at every moment.

He had his friends, and then...and then he had Jungkook.

An angel among men.

He almost wanted to get better because of him.

Almost.

But he had things to keep up. Appearances to keep up, secrets to keep, more and more dirty laundry that kept stacking up.

And it seemed it was finally visible.

Jungkook was in shock. Pure shock. He didn't know what to say, what to do, what to feel. Should he be upset? Should he be empathetic? He knew Jimin's dad was an asshole, but not...not abusive. Not that horrible. Not that hurtful.

But that didn't excuse m-mur- he couldn't even say it.

"I understand if you want to think it over but...but I'm not lying to you. I didn't think you'd understand when it happened...cause I didn't understand either when it happened. I was so...confused." Jimin wiped his eyes again. "But I need you to know that I love you...and I understand if you need time alone. There's nothing more that I can say to make things better. I'm sorry."

Jungkook...didn't know what to do. In this case, it was self defense but still it was...first degree murder...

"Don't apologize." Jungkook spoke quietly. "It's...it's...it's not your fault that he was a bad person." He wasn't sure what to do but he knew Jimin. He knew him well. And he knew Jimin would never hurt a fly unless it was absolutely necessary. "I...I am upset that you didn't tell me, but you're right. I wouldn't have...been able to handle it..." Jungkook shook his head. "But..."

"It's fine Jungkook. You can...not defend me." Jimin wiped his eyes again, sniffing. "That's okay."

"But did you do anything wrong? I- I'm...conflicted. That's horrible. Every single part of it." Jungkook shivered at the thought. "But I understand. It's the worst possible outcome but I...I..." Jungkook didn't know what to do.

"Jungkook, really. You don't have to reason it out for me. It's okay to just...be uncomfortable. Or want to get away. I can- I can book the next flight possible for you if you-"

"Jimin." Jungkook sat on the couch next to him. "I...I understand."

"Jungkook this isn't something easy-" Jimin whipped his head to him, crying in shame.

"You're right. But you've been living with it a-alone! I can't imagine going through that alone." Jungkook felt...bad for him. Being around someone you loved for so long and then suddenly learning about everything that once hurt them was shattering. He wanted Jimin to be okay. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry you went through that alone."

Jimin stared at him in disbelief, crying silently. "Jungkook..."

"I mean it Jimin. I'm sorry you went through something like that so young. And for so long. I'm sorry you went through it alone." Jungkook put an arm around his shoulder. "That's...that's a lot to take alone."

"I- I had my mother..." Jimin still looked shocked. "But...but I couldn't tell anyone else. I didn't know how to..."

"...I can't...I can't help. Because I'll never understand. But I'm sure...there's a way to get help."

"I don't know. I don't know how I'd be able to talk to a therapist without being straightforward." Jimin wiped his eyes again.

"Well...I certainly cannot be your therapist." Jungkook pulled Jimin into his chest. "I can't take that."

"I know." Jimin spoke quietly. "I won't put you through it. I can't imagine putting anyone through it. How am I supposed to talk about it to someone without...telling them what happened?..." Jimin shook his head. "I can't do it. I can't...I have to live with it. I just have to live with it. I can't put anyone else through it."

"I'm sorry Jimin." Jungkook let him cry. "I'm sorry you've been keeping that to yourself."

Jimin shook his head.

In all honesty...Jimin didn't expect Jungkook to react so kindly. He knew he was a good person but this?

This was something he never imagined would happen. He never thought Jungkook would...be here. He never though he would hold him. He thought he'd be repulsed, that he'd yell or cry or both or run away or get away or get as far away as fucking possible.

But...here he was. Hugging him. Holding him. Giving him a warm comfort that Jimin just melted into because he was so tired. He was so tired from carrying it alone. He was so tired of pretending and smiling and being a beacon of sun so Jungkook didn't have to worry a day in his life.

He just wanted Jungkook to smile.

"...I...we've promised each other that we'd take care of one another Jimin. I think...I think it's my turn to take care of you." Jungkook pulled him into a deeper hug.

Jimin cried into his arms, letting himself for once...not pretend. He let himself cry and be sad, he let himself be weak and unable to continue without this much needed break. He could be weak around Jungkook. He was allowed to do that.

Jimin let out a deep sigh. "Thank you Jungkook. Thank you so much."

"Of course Jimin. I promised you that I'd be here."

"...thank you." It was all Jimin could think to say. It was all he could feel. He was just grateful to have Jungkook in his life; he was the best thing that'd ever happened to him. And...he didn't want to take that for granted anymore. "I'll be better. I'll be a better person for you Jungkook."

"Please...you've only been kind...you need some rest."

"You deserve the best."

"You deserve rest."

Jimin smiled a little. Jungkook was still being kind as always. "...you're an angel."

"No, I'm pretty sure that's you." Jungkook rubbed his back. "You've always been kind and helpful, I'm sure you need rest from that."

"I just need you."

"And you've got me." Jungkook nodded. "I mean it Jimin, you've got me forever."

"Forever?"

"Forever."
