accidentally in love

In which Jungkook and Jimin agree to fake date in spite of the groups teasing, but it proves to be harder than they originally thought to keep feelings aside.

Thank you to @LyraRainbow for this one!! I had a lot of creative freedom so O-O

                                   ______

Jimin finished editing his video, getting ready to head out with some friends. He set it up to upload for 12pm the next day, before changing his clothes, fixing up his makeup, and heading out.

He truly loved his job, being a rather popular YouTuber, as it allowed him to be as creative as he was comfortable sharing and he had such a lovely community. He really loved it.

He drove out to a cafe, excited to meet up with Taehyung. He was excited to see him again and talk about another collaboration of theirs. Taehyung mostly played games, streaming for most of the day, but he always had time to hang out with Jimin and vlog with him.

It was nice to have a job that didn't require working in a cubical, and it was nice to have friends in the same industry.

Jimin went into the cafe, smiling as he went over to Taehyung. "Taehyungie~"

"Jimin! You're late you know."

"I always say approximately, you know I'm always late no matter what I do." Jimin laughed and sat down. "But thank you for paying today." He saw their treats and drinks already on the table.

"Don't even worry about it, I'm just happy to be out. Thinking about another day together? I think I've got another challenge."

"Me too!"

"You should join me playing games though! At least once. You never want to play." Taehyung whined about it. "It could be fun for you to join a stream!"

"Ahh, I'm not that good anyways, so I don't want people to make fun of me. Besides...sometimes your chat gets a little mean." Jimin shrugged. "I am technically a "beauty guru" and masculine video game nerds don't like that."

"Then they can get banned and I'll live happier knowing they're gone. Besides, my chat is usually pretty good about that. They know we're best friends." Taehyung tried to convince him.

"Maybe another day." Jimin pouted. "Okay?"

"Ugh, fine. Another day. Then..." he took a sip of his drink. "How about a blind date?"

"What?" Jimin was surprised. "A blind date?"

"Yeah! One of my friends was complaining about being single and I know you haven't been on a date in a while-"

"I don't date." Jimin shook his head with a smile. "You know this."

"But it's been so long! Besides, I think he was interested?" Taehyung grabbed Jimin's hands, pleading. "At least think about it, otherwise I'll have to set him up with someone else."

"Taehyung, you know I don't go on dates. Besides...if he's one of your friends...are you sure he'd even be okay with it?"

"Are you saying I have bad friends?"

"I'm saying your friends are gamers and they can get a little, eh." Jimin titled his head. "You know...not always the best towards a feminine guy."

"Ah, I understand, but this guy is good! I promise. So think about it, okay? He said he'd be down."

"Does he know what I do?"

"Nope!"

"Mm. I'm not sure. I'll...consider it, but even so! I'd turn him down, you know I don't date. It would be sad for the poor guy." Jimin sighed. "I don't want to go on a blind date knowing I'm going to turn them down."

"Then don't turn him down?" Taehyung laughed. "Anyways, just think about it. I'll keep in touch with him, okay? If you change your mind."

"Sure." Jimin smiled at him. "Don't count on it though."

"Pshh, fine fine. Besides...how about you come on stream with me? For at least a little bit. We can do a cute little challenge, spend the night, then we can do one for your channel." The two ate their treats. "Pretty even, right?"

"Ahhhh, fine." Jimin laughed. "Fine, pitch your idea!"

____

Jimin brought his makeup bags to Taehyung's place, excited to start a stream with him. It had been a while; he hadn't actually streamed with Taehyung in months due to comments that didn't make him want to return. But, it had been a while, and Taehyung promised it was going to be different. He trusted him of course, so here he was.

"Oh perfect! This'll be fun, promise. I know just enough for this to be fun."

"It better be fun. Otherwise you're paying for my next trip to get makeup." Jimin eyed him with a smile.

"Of course." Taehyung led him inside, the both of them setting up their stream. "I think you'll have fun! We blindly choose makeup for each other when one of us loses. Mk?"

"Yeah. I'm just concerned about the uh, game." Jimin laughed a little. "I'm not that good."

"You'll get it! It's a silly game, I picked it on purpose."

"You sure we'll be okay?"

"Oh of course! I told you, one bad word and I'm banning them." Taehyung promised, smiling as they set up a camera in the background, before setting up Taehyung's main area for two people. "Besides, I've shaped them up. I've slowly been inching into more queer viewers than not and I find that very achieving."

"That's true, your stats are very pleasing." Jimin hummed in approval. "No surprise that I'm in the same area."

"You're so gay it hurts Jimin."

"If more men knew you were bisexual I think you'd find yourself in the same situation." Jimin countered, fixing up his clothes. "Seriously, you're not outward about it but I see it."

"Of course you do, you're with me all the time." He laughed. "I'd hope you'd see it. How could any deny that both men and women are gorgeous? I don't get straight people."

"Me neither. Nothing quite as lovely as an attractive man."

"Damn right. Fuck, have you seen Namjoon recently?"

"He needs to stop going to the gym. I swore that Jin was the biggest gym enthusiast, but it seems that now Namjoon and Yoongi have both been insistent about it..."

"Ah, maybe I should too."

"Please spare me." Jimin whined.

"Hey, if you like a guy with muscles, you should think about the blind date."

"It's still a date, no matter how good he looks." Jimin shrugged. "I'm not here to date."

"Awww, but he's really great!"

"Can I get a name?"

"That's the blind part." Taehyung denied his request. "About ready?"

"Let's get some water first."

"It's almost 12~"

"Then set it up, I don't care, I'm getting us water first." Jimin smiled and left to the kitchen. He took a small breath as he got ready to be on a stream again...he was nervous to say the least.

Behind a camera, behind editing, behind cutting things out...that's where Jimin was comfortable. But being live, without editing, with no room to make mistakes or retake shots...he was always a little shy. Taehyung had been doing it for years now, but Jimin wasn't a streamer. He liked being a YouTuber. He could filter what people saw of him.

He came back with filled water bottles, sitting next to Taehyung. "Ready?"

"Yeah." Jimin smiled.

"Hey. I mean it, it's gunna be fun, and you're going to have a good time. Alright? It should be a much shorter stream than my usual ones, and if you ever need a break, then that's what's going to happen." Taehyung took his hand. "Alright?"

"Okay." Jimin smiled for real. Taehyung was always good to him. "I'm sure it'll be fun!"

They started the stream, talking to each other while more people joined, fixing up some angles of their secondary station, before they started the game.

"Chat, today we have a different kind of stream! My lovely friend Jimin is here with us, treat him kindly, and we've got a challenge! We're playing a team game, but who ever dies first will be the "loser" of that round. After each round we'll go over there and choose a random makeup uh, tool." Taehyung gave Jimin a glance as he couldn't find a better word. "This is gunna go great."

"If you forget how to put makeup on this is going to go horribly for me." Jimin laughed.

They did have a good time, Jimin blindly choosing things for Taehyung until he had a whole look, one that Jimin had to admit was hard to make look good, yet Taehyung was just too handsome to make anything look bad.

Jimin had a luckier outcome, though Taehyung wasn't as skilled as himself, he had better color combinations.

They waved goodbye to the camera while smiling, as Taehyung turned off the stream.

"I'm starving." Jimin drank water as he got up to clean up. "You should let me show you some tips and tricks, you're really close to being pretty good."

"Awww, you don't like your look?"

"A softer smoky eye would've made it lovely." Jimin mused. "You almost have it, truly." He packed his makeup, putting everything in its place. "I mean it!"

"Then another day, I'll be happy to learn. I only know from watching you." Taehyung smiled and stretched. "I'll go make food."

"Sure, I'll be down in a little bit, I gotta clean up. Oh- clean your face first-"

"No no, I like it." Taehyung grinned. "Leave yours on too, we should take a picture."

"Ahh, fine." Jimin put away his last blush before following Taehyung to the kitchen. "Somehow I forgot that a shorter stream for you means 5 hours." They took a couple pictures.

"Well, it's kinda my job." Taehyung looked through his fridge. "Wanna eat out?"

"I'm sure we can make something here." Jimin took a look too.

"Aww, are you still on that diet?"

"I- yeah." Jimin shrugged. "I'm still modeling for my sponsor and it's just a part of the deal. I don't mind so much!" Jimin picked some things out, starting their meal. "I just have to be a little careful."

"I think it's a little fucked. You exercise so much and eat so little, and besides, guys need more food than what you eat! How else are you supposed to grow?" Taehyung teased him, Jimin shooting him a glare.

"I'm tall enough, thank you very much."

"You wear platforms."

"They're stylish and comfortable."

"Sure, sure."

They made a meal, eating on the couch as they watched something.

"So...blind date?"

"Why are you pushing this? You know why I don't date." Jimin sighed.

"Jimin, I just think maybe you should try it? We're getting older and I just want you to have someone other than friends."

"Friends are enough for me. I don't want to be in a relationship that isn't going to be slow and careful and um...ready for me to be...you know." Jimin shook his head. "Guys don't really like...when...I'm unable to show skin so easily."

"Then say it upfront, but don't say no to every possible relationship. You deserve to find someone."

"And I'm happy as is."

"...if you say so." Taehyung gave him a glance.

"Oh come on, what does that mean?" Jimin pouted at him. "I'm happy!"

"You've just been...a little lonely is all."

"Your schedule changed. I had to get used to it, that's all. But I've got it now, so I'll be alright!" Jimin smiled at him. "Really, I'm happy. I've got a lot going for me."

"And a blind date will ruin it all?"

"Taehyung, I'm nervous. Showing skin scares me and seeing skin makes me nervous, and every guy I've ever gone on a date with have been without compassion for my requests. I'm not sure if the next guy is going to suddenly be amazing."

"Well, you can't get a boyfriend without starting some sort of relationship."

"You'll have to convince me." Jimin hummed. "You're doing a bad job at convincing me."

"Okay okay, I am. Maybe Hoseok can convince you."

"Pshh, you're gunna get everyone in on it?"

"Of course! I wanna set you up on a date. He's a handsome guy, promise!"

"Please, you know that's not the only thing I care about." Jimin smiled. He liked watching Taehyung scramble to convince him.

"He's funny."

"And?"

"He'd treat you kindly."

"Bare minimum."

"He'll..."

"Taehyung. Beauty and makeup YouTuber's get boyfriends, make every video about them with clickbait titles until they inevitably breakup a couple months later. And if he's one of your friends, then he will surely hate me before the months ends."

"It's a blind date for a reason though! You don't know him, he doesn't know you, you learn about each other!" Taehyung sighed. "At least try it?"

"I don't know...I've considered it, but I can only see it ending in failure. Why should I break a guys heart just because you wanted me to?"

"Test out the waters." Taehyung took their plates to the sink. "It's been years!"

"On purpose."

"Your house is so big and lonely though."

"It's fine. I'm thinking of getting a cat." Jimin smiled. "I've been going to some shelters recently."

"That's a good idea. I'm thinking of getting another dog for Yeontan. It's a little lonely for him. Maybe another Pomeranian?"

"You want to test your luck with another Pom? You're lucky Yeontan doesn't yap that much." Jimin laughed a little. "Though...some animals would make my house a little more comfortable."

"I'm just saying. Try out the blind date. You might actually find yourself to enjoy it." Taehyung gave him a smile.

Jimin wondered why Taehyung was pushing this so much. "Fine. I'll go. But not because you've convinced me, more because I want you to shut up."

"Works for me."

Jimin spent the night, the both of them sharing the bed. He really did wonder why Taehyung wanted him to go on this blind date. But maybe he was right. Maybe he needed to try again, after all, he was 25, and he hadn't been on a date in years.

But...it was hard for him to even hold hands. He was only comfortable with Taehyung because he'd known him for years, but with someone new? God, he didn't know if he could even hold his hand, let alone anything more. Maybe a hug. Maybe. But...if he was new, then probably nothing. Touch was difficult for him, same as showing skin.

Typically he wore long sleeves or a sweater, sometimes he'd be brave and wear short sleeves, though of course no one knew it was a huge deal. He just hated being bare. Or seeing people bare. There were clothes for a reason!

He just didn't get it, but...he didn't know how this date would go.

____

Jimin got ready in his bathroom, making sure he was covered and pretty. He liked how his hair looked today, and he thought he looked good. He hoped...that his date would also think so. He felt only a tiny bit nervous, but the biggest part of him felt bad. He was going out to have a free meal and inevitably turn down the poor guy.

He really wasn't ready to date yet and he felt bad for the poor guy he was going to meet, though that wasn't his blind dates fault, it was Taehyung's. Taehyung was the one setting them up, so if there was anyone at fault, it was him. And his friends.

Hoseok had texted him the other day to definitely try it out, and the others had also been on board for the idea.

He left early so he could be on time, knowing his tendency to be late wasn't going to change now. This was just going to be a free meal with hopefully a handsome guy. Taehyung was adamant about that.

Jimin sighed a little as he stopped at a red light. What was he even doing. He could be working instead, he could be finalizing and getting ready for his next modeling session. He could be working out or running on the treadmill. Fuck, he could be actually buying products he wanted to try in another video. He could be doing so many productive things yet here he was...giving Taehyung a chance to set him up.

Why did he even need to date? So what if he was 25? He didn't have to apologize for being single, and no, he didn't want to hear about how he should be having kids soon or how he should be working towards getting married. He'd heard it all, but he still didn't care.

He was happy being alone.

He had friends, he had family, and he was going to get some cats soon. He needed to look at some more shelters, just to be sure, before he bought any products for them.

He arrived at the restaurant Taehyung had picked for them, happy to be only a couple minutes late instead of more. He went inside, still a little nervous. "Reservation for Kim?" Jimin asked nicely to the receptionist. His voice was quieter than he meant it to be.

"Right this way sir." She smiled as she led him into the restaurant. It wasn't a very fancy restaurant, Jimin noted, but it seemed a little nice and cozy instead. There was music playing from somewhere, and tables were lit by candles, though there were still lights elsewhere. There weren't too many people either, so Jimin felt a little better.

Sometimes he felt a little scared to go out in makeup that was bright, and today he'd opted for a typical look; simple but still bringing out his features. He had made his lip a little smaller though, still a little insecure about that.

He was working on himself.

When the waiter stopped, Jimin thanked her before looking at his blind date.

"Jimin-ssi?"

"Jeon." Jimin sat down with disgust written on his face.

Taehyung had set him up. Taehyung was going to get a beating when he saw him again.

____

Jimin had always been cautious around men. Period. All men. He'd been cautious for plenty of reasons, but truly, men scared him if he didn't know them, that being, Jimin was willing to try to give Taehyung's friends a chance. Though one of the kids he played online with was...exceptionally bothersome.

Jeon Jungkook had always had a teasing nature, but Jimin was sensitive and he didn't like how insensitive he had been. Jimin had been over at Taehyung's for a couple days, unluckily on one of the same days that he was having Jungkook over.

He'd never met someone so draining before. He was quite disrespectful towards their ages, a little annoying about his choice of profession, and a little bit too comfortable with teasing him.

Jimin really didn't understand the kid.

Or why Taehyung was such close friends with him. He really didn't get it. Sure, they both play video games, but what else was there? There must be something good about him, but Jimin had only seen such a small corner of him and he found it unpleasant.

Jungkook was the type to have no problem showing skin too. This was the handsome devil Taehyung was gloating about?

So yeah. Taehyung was going to get a royal beating once he saw him again.

____

Jungkook was utterly surprised to see Jimin. He looked handsome, yet pretty at the same time, though, he would never admit that. He noted that Jimin typically wore long sleeves, and that tonight was no different. God, he was such a prude. Jungkook knew there was more to Jimin, but to him, he seemed a little small in all aspects.

His presence was small, his voice, his body, everything, really. He didn't quite like that about him. If someone was so attractive, why shouldn't they be loud about it? Especially when you're as popular of a YouTuber as Jimin was!

Jimin got under his skin just by seeing him.

"Jimin-ssi, I wasn't expecting you." Jungkook took a look at the menu.

"I wasn't expecting you either." He sighed heavily. "Taehyung's a dirty liar."

"He technically didn't say anything."

"I'm going to wring his neck..." Jimin spoke quietly before sighing heavily again. "Look, I'm sorry, but this isn't- this is a prank, I'm sorry to waste your time. God he's dead meat." Jimin seemed pissed, Jungkook unable to understand why.

"It's fine. Might as well eat something while we're here." Jungkook shrugged. As much as he didn't really like Jimin, he didn't mind paying for a meal. They'd both drove out here, might as well eat for the trouble.

Jimin didn't seem to be happy about that. "N...no it's okay. I'd...rather eat at home."

"Ah, but you've driven all the way here, might as well get a free meal. That's what you're here for anyways, right?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him.

"Really, it's fine, I might as well not waste your money or time."

"Might as well put your makeup to good use." Jungkook mumbled.

"Gosh, how could I ever take that as a compliment?" Jimin glared at him a little. "You don't have to be rude about it."

"Just get a salad or something, you never eat anything anyways." Jungkook didn't know why Jimin would turn down free food. He knew he wouldn't. "I'm offering to pay."

Jimin sighed. "Fine. Sorry about Taehyung."

"It's fine, I was just...hoping for an actual date." Jungkook sighed too. He was sadly very excited to have a date with someone, but felt immensely disappointed now. Now he felt a little embarrassed that Jimin knew that he was looking to date, but then again, that meant that Jimin was too.

Jimin had never- no, no he didn't think so. Jimin had never dated before. Or at least, publicly. Jungkook wondered aloud. "Have you ever dated someone?"

"I...haven't." Jimin looked at the menu, making himself a little smaller. Jungkook didn't understand it. Why would he be embarrassed to say that? Or try to hide?

"Mm." Jungkook nodded.

"...have you?"

"I haven't either, but I've been in the talking stage I guess. It's a little boring without going on dates."

"Ah, I see." Jimin nodded then shut up.

Jungkook didn't understand him at all. Why was he so shy? He was so beautiful without any effort, so why was he so- so like that? It upset him, honestly, for someone to be so effortlessly gorgeous but not show it off. Jimin was always like that though. He was always alone, always in a corner, always avoiding. Always being so small to make sure he wasn't seen.

A waiter came and the two ordered what they wanted.

Jungkook couldn't help but wonder why Jimin was so quiet now. I guess their mutual dislike was enough to not even hold conversation, but Jungkook couldn't stand the silence.

"Well...who were you expecting instead of me?"

Jimin seemed a little surprised at Jungkook talking to him. "Oh...well...no one in particular. Taehyung just said...someone handsome. But I really should've just turned him down."

"Mmm." Jungkook leaned on his hand, Jimin staring at his lap. Why was he so nervous? "Don't you agree?"

"Hm?" Jimin gave him a small glance before looking down at his lap again. "Sorry."

"Why do you do that?" Jungkook sighed. "You always do that."

"What?" Jimin looked up at him this time trying to hold eye contact before looking away. "Do what?"

"Do- do that. Am I that hideous?" He teased, but Jimin didn't seem to like that.

"Why would you say that about yourself? You are handsome..."

"Aww, you don't sound confident at all, how could you Jimin-ssi, I'm hurt." Jungkook smiled, teasing.

"You shouldn't need my opinion." Jimin spoke sharply, Jungkook wondering why he was so...so reflecting.

"I wouldn't mind having it."

"You don't need it."

"Can I have it?"

"No."

"Why not?" Jungkook was just passing the time. If Jimin wasn't going to give him longer answers then he might as well talk for the both of them.

"Why should I? You- I don't feel like saying anything to you."

"Ahhh, I'm hurt." Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Indulge me for the night, since neither of us have gotten exactly what we wanted."

"...I...I'm so sorry, can you button up your shirt?" Jimin sighed. "I'll indulge you if you're patient with me."

"Is that- are you- are you serious?" Jungkook laughed a little. "That's why you aren't looking at me?"

"I can't...look at you like that."

"Huh." Jungkook laughed again, but did button up his shirt. "Fine. Indulge me then."

"A-ah...thank you." Jimin sighed a little. "If you need me to be honest, yes you are handsome. Just not my type. I was hoping for someone less...um...like you."

"I see." Jungkook didn't take it as an insult. "Thank you for the honesty. What's so horrible about me? Let's have the opposite of a date, at the very least."

Jimin gave a small chuckle at that, making Jungkook smile. "Are you that desperate for conversation?"

"Yes. Tell me, I won't get mad."

"You're insensitive and I don't appreciate your teasing nature. I understand that's just what you do, but I don't appreciate it." Jimin pouted a little. "You're too showy as well, and you make fun of me for knowing how to put on makeup."

Jungkook nodded. "Continue."

"Mmm...I don't like how disrespectful you are to my age and how touchy you are. Keep your hands off of me."

"That was my bad, I said sorry about that." Jungkook defended himself, not wanting Jimin to bring up old things. "But yeah, I'll take the rest."

"Mmm." Jimin nodded, looking at the table. "Sorry, that was all mean."

"I asked for it. Get all the hard feelings out, have a nice uh, anti-date."

"Well, to be fair, I guess tell me what you don't like about me."

"I don't understand you." Jungkook shrugged. "Every time I try to be around you you don't like my personality. I honestly think we just don't mesh." He hummed. "Which I don't think is either of our faults. So let's have a nice meal and get to know each other a little. I have been rather rude towards your career, I apologize."

Jimin seemed taken aback. "Um...thank you. I agree though. I don't think we mesh well, but you've been...unpleasant to be around."

"Ah, well, I think we just don't have the same kind of humor."

"Humor coming from people who play shooter games are typically very misogynistic and homophobic, so no, we don't have the same "humor"." Jimin shook his head. "Yet here you are on a date with a guy."

"Uhhhh...I don't...have an explanation for that." Jungkook blushed a little bit, hoping it wasn't noticeable. Jimin wasn't looking at him anyways. "I like guys, I just haven't publicly came out like you have. I didn't think I had to."

"Mmm. Taehyung's gunna pay for this. He could've set you up with a nice girl instead of me." Jimin rested his head on his hand, looking to the side. "He's toying with me."

"I don't like girls."

"Oh?" Jimin finally looked at him, eyes wide in surprise.

"Girls scare me." Jungkook laughed a little bit. "I'm gay though um...I guess that wasn't obvious at all."

"N-no it wasn't." Jimin was still surprised. "Huh. You know, I really wouldn't have guessed."

"Well...makes sense." Jungkook smiled at him, holding the eye contact. "Oo thank god." He smiled more as he saw their food coming, thanking the waiter as they left.

"Thank you for the food...I can um...pay for my own if you'd like."

"No, consider it an apology for our mmm, anti-date. I'll pay." Jungkook took a glance at Jimin's meal. It looked so fucking small...

He himself had gotten a burger, since he hadn't had one in ages, but Jimin's salad was just...honestly pathetic. He would never understand why people got the small salads, but there must be a reason why Jimin was getting it. It seemed like Jungkook didn't understand him at all.

"Are you sure?" Jimin gave a weak smile. "I can totally pay for my own meal."

"Enjoy it Jimin-ssi."

"Ahhh, you're insufferable." Jimin smiled a little at him, but nodded. They started to eat, Jimin finishing way before Jungkook did. "You know...for a prank, it could've been worse. Thank you."

"Mmm. We should prank them back. Namjoon hyung put me up to this, saying Jin hyung had a blind date for me." Jungkook watched Jimin look at his food. "Want a bite?"

"Hm? Oh sorry, no thank you. How would you want to prank them back?" Jimin looked up at Jungkook. He still seemed so small.

"Not sure." Jungkook shrugged before passing his plate to Jimin. "Take what you want."

"No, I'm fine." Jimin passed it back, drinking the water he got. "I...hmmm, well I have...one idea?"

"At least take a bite." Jungkook passed the plate back. "Pitch your idea."

Jimin passed it back. "Please, I'm full. I think we could prank them back by pretending it worked out. That's the last thing they'd actually expect. Taehyung knows how much trouble he's in, but that's what he's expecting."

"Good premise. There's no way you're full, you barely ate anything." Jungkook moved the plate over to him again.

"That's not your concern." Jimin pushed it back. "I'm full. Stop pushing food at me." He sighed and drank more water. "Do you have any other idea?"

"Uh..." Jungkook hummed. He didn't know what was a better idea, but he also didn't know how well this would go. Fake dating with Jimin? Sure it would be funny, and it might be nice to get to know him a little better, but he didn't know how long they would take it or how far. "I don't have a better idea. But I don't dislike that idea. You sure you're full? I'm fine with getting more food if you're hungry."

"I'm fine." Jimin glared a little. "If you don't want to that's fine. But I kinda do want to get back at Taehyung, otherwise my hands are going around his neck." Jimin smiled a little. "So?"

"I say we do it." Jungkook smiled back, still wondering what the fuck was wrong with him and food. He ate so little though. "How long should we keep it up?"

"Until they believe it." Jimin shrugged. "I'm not actually looking to date anyone, sorry that you are. If you don't want to-"

"No no, let's do it. We all need a little fun in our lives. Besides, I can go on a real date another time. I'm a little upset at being pranked too, so let's do it." Jungkook smiled at him, finishing his food.

Jimin smiled in return. "Alright. You're too kind..." he looked down, Jungkook still unable to understand why he was so- so shy. Almost shameful, if he didn't know better. "Um...I guess...give me your number?"

"Oh! Yeah, sure." Jungkook gave him his contact. "Let's see...how should we break it to them? Together?"

"Well, Taehyung's probably going to call me tonight, so I'll tell him then. How far are you willing to go?" Jimin raised an eyebrow at Jungkook as he looked back up at him.

"Um..." he hadn't outed himself yet but...well, he wasn't afraid to. "Yeah. Let's go as far as you want to."

"Perfect. We change our bios to taken, post stupid little pictures like "date night" and see where that goes." Jimin hummed.

Jungkook nodded. It seemed like this was a very strategic and calculated thing for Jimin instead of like a real relationship. "Aright."

"You use a bunny emoji, right?" Jimin poked around on his phone.

Jungkook laughed. "Yeah, I do. Do you associate one with yourself?"

"Mmm. Taehyung uses a little chicky for me. You know, the little chickety." Jungkook couldn't help but smile at the way Jimin spoke, using such cute words.

"Mk. Then you wanna go out more?"

"Mmmm...I guess we'll have to. Are you a good actor?" Jimin glanced at him.

"I can be." Jungkook shrugged. "I'm not horrible."

"Well you'll have to be good to trick Taehyung." Jimin sighed a little. "We can- let's just- I'll text you after I call him. Does that sound okay?"

"Yeah, works for me." Jungkook shrugged again. Jimin seemed tired of being here, Jungkook could tell. "Hey, let's get some pictures before you pass out."

"I'm not about to pass out." Jimin gave a small pout.

"You look tired. So let's wrap it up." Jungkook smiled. He was trying to be considerate.

They took a couple pictures, Jimin pushing Jungkook's hand off his shoulder multiple times, before Jungkook paid for the bill. Jungkook had to admit, as he looked at their pictures, that Jimin was quite attractive. Even in something as simple as a black turtleneck, he looked flawless.

"Well...thank you for the meal." Jimin cleaned their table a little to make it easier for the waiters. "I'm really sorry about it."

"Ah, no no, I don't mind. I'm less annoyed at you and more so at Taehyung but, I don't mind sharing a meal with you. Besides, there's more meals to be shared now! Right, sweetheart?" Jungkook smiled, leaning on his hand again.

"Ah..." Jimin looked away, Jungkook seeing a small blush. Or maybe that was just makeup. No, no he must be blushing. "Y-yeah. There will be more. Um, though we should go to each other's houses instead."

"Why's that?"

"Cause I'd rather eat something homemade." Jimin nodded his head, still embarrassed.

It finally clicked in Jungkook's head. "Oh my god I forgot you fucking model." He sighed heavily as he leaned back in his chair. "God you must be starving."

"Ahh, no no, I'm not starving!" Jimin panicked a little, looking up at Jungkook. "Really, I'm eating enough, I just have to keep a very delicate diet, that's all, s-so I like eating at home instead. That's all." He gave a small smile, as if trying to convince Jungkook that everything was alright. "So...you s-should come over to my house...when you can?"

"Mmm." Jungkook returned the smile. "You want me over that badly? My love, it's only been a couple hours."

Jimin blushed more, pouting. "Why are you like this?"

"Cause, I like teasing you. You're too easy to tease."

"Well stop it, I don't want my first experience, fake or not, to be so mean. Don't press my buttons on purpose." Jimin kept his pout, Jungkook smiling.

"But you look so cute when you pout darling. Plus when you blush." Jungkook continued his teasing.

Jimin gave him a glare this time.

"Aw, I'm just warming up to you being my boyfriend. Can't I compliment you?"

"Not like that. And don't use pet names, this isn't real." Jimin sighed and looked to the side. "Y-you don't have to treat it like it's real."

"Why not?" He titled his head to see him better. "I thought you said you wanted it to be believable, so we must come to a compromise."

"No pet names."

"Compliments?"

"I'll let it pass."

"Then what will you do for me angel?" Jungkook smiled, watching Jimin glare again.

"What do you want?"

"I'm touchy."

Jimin seethed. "Ugh. Seriously?"

"What? I want to make it seem real, but I can't even, I don't know, hold your hand?"

"Mmmmm." Jimin sighed heavily. "I'm not huge...on touch..."

"Why not? How else did you expect this to work out?" Jungkook kept his smile. Jimin truly was just too easy to tease.

"I...am...not huge on touch. But...if...we're compromising...then a little bit. Only a little bit." Jimin sighed. "I can probably hold your hand, but don't expect too much of me."

"Why can't you? Just wondering."

"I just don't like when people are comfortable with touching me without knowing me first."

"Hands."

"Mmm."

"No shoulder?"

"No shoulder no waist."

"Awww, come on, how am I supposed to stand next to you?" Jungkook whined about it.

"You can be a gentleman, and let me hold onto your arm."

"So you're a princess." Jungkook laughed. "Sure! I can handle a princess. Need me to treat you like one as well? Carry you around, wash your feet, do all you want? Be a loyal servant?"

"Oh please. Have some dignity." Jimin huffed, closing his arms. "I'm not huge with touch, okay? That's just how it is. I...I just don't have experience or well, good experiences. So just...play along, please? This is about elegance and performance."

"Ughhhh, come on, I just wanna act like a normal couple? Is that too much?" Jungkook sighed. He wanted to at least enjoy his time fake dating.

"This is a performance." Jimin pouted. "Not real. You don't deserve to have any more of my effort."

"If this is a performance then act like it's real right now." Jungkook glared a little, crossing his arms. "If even I can't believe you, then how is Taehyung?"

Jimin sighed before smiling, Jungkook shocked to see the sudden change. "Jungkook, how could you forget how much I care for you? I want to learn so much more about you, won't you come over for lunch tomorrow?" He gave wide eyes and an interest in his speech, Jungkook understanding he'd turned on his YouTuber mode.

"I- o- oh um- well- I-" Jungkook fumbled over his words, blushing a little and looking away. He wasn't expecting that. Jimin looked...so happy. "Okay okay, I believe you, god- damn it."

"Good. I can act, but I'm worried about you." Jimin went back to being...small and emotionless. Jungkook didn't understand him at all. "I know I can act, but can you?"

____

Jungkook exhaled deeply as he hovered over the post button. Jimin had explained more things to him, but it...still meant outing himself. And it's not like he was ashamed, but it was a little scary. He knew what happens when you come out, especially at first, but he had also been considering coming out for months now, edging closer to wanting to just burst it out.

But...but he was kinda excited.

He was excited to do something new in his life, having gotten a little bored with the monotony of streaming for hours on hours every day, but maybe having an ongoing joke was going to be fun.

Maybe it would be nice to be around Jimin for a longer amount of time. But he did wonder how long it would take before the both of them broke. And how long it would take for Jimin to hate him. They already didn't exactly...like each other.

He hit post, exhaling. It was just one of the pictures the two took together last night with a cute little caption.

Taehyung immediately called him.

"Jungkook?!"

Jungkook smiled at that. "Yes?"

"Are you kidding me?!" Taehyung yelled at him. "I called Jimin too, and- what?!"

"Um...yeah." Jungkook tried to make him feel confused and maybe guilty. "I forced a bit of conversation, but we really ended up talking and enjoying the date. First of all, fuck you, and second, thanks." Jungkook laughed. "I had a good time."

"Jimin- you're going over to his house tomorrow?"

"Mhm. He said he could make a better meal than what we had." Jungkook propped his phone in between his shoulder and cheek, fixing up his desk. "Since it's my day off stream, so yeah! I'll head on over and we'll...you know, get to know him a little more."

"You two are fucking with me. I- I had legitimate other dates for you both, really! This was a joke, why- why are you going along with it?!"

"Hm? Well...I just had a genuinely good time. So...yeah." Jungkook laughed again. "Sorry to burst your bubble."

"I'm just...well, if you're honestly going to try and date him, keep your hands off, okay? You gotta- gotta let him ease into it."

"Any other advice?"

"Please don't push food on him. Just- just be aware of what makes him uncomfortable, okay? And...have some fun. Make him have fun, since I can't do it all the time."

"Thank you hyung. Anything else?" Jungkook finished cleaning up his desk, before getting ready for bed.

"Just...be...be good to him, okay? Patient, caring, but really...make sure he has some fun...okay?"

Jungkook smiled in victory. Taehyung totally believed him. "Of course."

"Okay. If Jimin gives me one complaint about you, you're dead meat okay?"

"Okay!" Jungkook couldn't keep the smile off his face.

"Okay. Goodnight Jungkook."

"Goodnight hyung~"

Jungkook hung up, exhaling a little bit. It was weird to lie but not lie at the same time. But hey...Taehyung was believing it. They had to convince everyone else now...Jungkook still had to get back at his hyungs.

He ignored his phone for the rest of the night, knowing it was going to be busy for days.

It wasn't every day a popular streamer came out confirming they were dating a beauty guru.

Jungkook slept pretty good that night in all honesty, even though he knew the next day was going to be very busy.

____

Jungkook headed over to Jimin's house after a workout and shower, still staying off of his social media's. He was positive it was loud. But, that was not the point of today! He was starving and he really fucking hoped that Jimin had something good in store for lunch. They were going to talk more about their situation while he was there too, but mostly he was excited to eat and excited to see Jimin's house.

He'd watched a couple of his videos last night before he went to sleep, then a couple more when he ate breakfast this morning, just to get a little view into Jimin's head and why he was the way he was but...his only conclusion was that Jimin was amazing at performing, and amazing at makeup.

Not that he knew anything about makeup, but Jimin always looked good. Even when he was doing challenges, even when he had to look "silly," he looked pretty. Jungkook had to give him that.

His mind drifted to food again as he got to Jimin's house, laughing a little at the size of it. It was a huge house compared to his small apartment. He rang the doorbell as he organized himself and made sure he had everything he needed.

Jimin opened the door with a smile. "Hey! I just finished lunch, come in!" He opened the door for him, Jungkook going inside and slipping off his shoes.

"Thank you Jimin-ssi." Jungkook bowed a little. Jimin seemed so much happier today. "I'm starving, sorry I didn't come earlier, I would've helped out."

"Oh no, I enjoyed making it alone. Take a seat!" Jimin was super smiley today, pulling out a chair for Jungkook.

"T-thank you." He sat down, Jimin going to the other side. He took a look at their food, wondering how there was so much. Didn't Jimin not eat much?

"I know I know, it looks like a lot, doesn't it?" Jimin read him with a smile. "But I promise you, it's really not that many calories. Sometimes more is less. I've gotten to perfect eating food." Jimin giggled, Jungkook absolutely shocked with the difference from last night to today.

"This looks amazing Jimin-ssi, thank you so much." Jungkook smiled back. "I'm starving."

"Then eat up!" He clapped his hands together before playing some music on speakers somewhere, the two starting to eat.

"Wow- this is- this is really good." Jungkook covered his mouth as he laughed. "I'm really impressed!"

"Thank you Jungkook." Jimin smiled softly. "I know last night was a little mmm...well, let's just say off to a bad start. And I know this will be over before we know it, but...I might as well treat you well while we hang out. I'm just um- I'm just happy to share a meal I made."

"Are you proud of it?" Jungkook smiled at him, teasing a little.

"I am! It's good, no?" Jimin kept his smile. "Besides...I'm proud of you for posting anything. I wasn't going to make you post something until you were ready. I was willing to keep it quiet."

"Why would I want to be quiet about dating you?" Jungkook teased further. "You're gorgeous, who wouldn't want to flaunt that?" He leaned on his hand, smiling at Jimin.

He watched him blush a little in surprise. "O-okay let's- let's um, go over what's okay and not."

"Aww, you said compliments were okay." Jungkook sighed dramatically.

"Okay I just, I'm not good at accepting compliments. And I think we just need...some boundaries."

"I don't need any." Jungkook shrugged, eating the rest of what Jimin gave him.

"I do. We um...gotta convince the others, so some dates out with them too. Or invite them over here, then I can make what I want." Jimin hummed. "That's probably a better idea. Taehyung wanted to come over today but I told him no. So let's um...well, I...since we're doing this-"

"Say it. Don't hide your ideas." Jungkook smiled more as Jimin shyly looked away.

"I would make a video with you, you know? Introducing you, doing a little challenge or something. B-but I'm not sure how you'd like that, and I'm not sure it would be amazing for me to be on one of your streams." He continued to look away, Jungkook still not understanding why he was like that.

"Hey, I don't need you to be on one of my streams. I know you stream with Taehyung sometimes, but really! I won't push you to do anything. Though...I guess I wouldn't mind being in one of your videos." He shrugged. "There's no harm there."

"Nice. Then...maybe next time you're free?"

"I'll make time for you darling." Jungkook smiled at him, Jimin sighing.

"Please. You don't have to pretend while we're alone."

"Aww, but it adds to it!"

"No it doesn't! Friendly, not- not lovey dovey." He shook his head. "No pet names."

"And no touching." Jungkook frowned a little. "But I'm touchy! That's how I show affection."

"Through touching and teasing?"

"Yes!"

"Exactly." Jimin huffed. "That's what I can't stand!"

"But that's how I show my affection!" Jungkook countered. "How else am I supposed to show that we're dating?"

"Ugh, words. Compliments, affinity, adoration, it's about the actions without words, it's about knowing one another. So...let's get to know each other." Jimin gave a small smile.

"How...how so?" Jungkook was a little confused.

"You know...knowing each other. That's love. I know Taehyung so well, I know what he thinks. I know his favorite foods, his favorite movies, I know what he's thinking when I say something, or- or I know how he'll act when we're in the same situation. I know- I know him."

"And how...Jimin-ssi, that's just friendship."

"Exactly." Jimin exhaled heavily. "What's not clicking?"

"Um...where does the dating part come in?" Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm confused."

"Jungkook. We're faking it. Friendship often passes as dating so that's what I'm willing to do." Jimin hummed. "It'll trick Taehyung. He sounded so funny over the phone last night. By the way, nice post! It's beautifully vague." Jimin smiled a little. "I am proud of you."

"Yeah?" Jungkook smiled. "You think it's vague enough?"

"Oh yes! Have you read the comments? It's quite funny to see everyone asking if we're dating."

"Ah, I haven't seen them yet. I'm still...uh...explaining to some of my friends." Jungkook sighed a tiny bit. "You know how it is."

"Well, if they're being shitty than they aren't your friends. I've learned the hard way, so let me give you free tips." Jimin glared a little. "Really, I mean it. Don't waste your time around people who aren't going to treat you the same based solely on who you date."

"Yeah I just- it's new, that's all. They...didn't know and I didn't care to say anything."

"Mmm." Jimin started to stack up their dishes. "Well...if you ever need someone to confide in, I'll listen. It kinda sucks to be alone when you come out. Backlash isn't illegal, so you just kinda have to...take it." Jimin shrugged before smiling. "Well, thank you for coming over for lunch."

"Let me help clean up." Jungkook stood and helped Jimin take dishes to the sink.

"No no, it's okay, I don't need help. You're a guest."

"Hey, you did all the cooking, I can at least wash some dishes."

"No no, it's okay! Really." Jimin set everything down in the sink, rolling up his sleeves a little.

"Seriously, I don't want to do nothing." Jungkook rolled his own sleeve up higher. "Seriously."

"A-ah, well, um, okay. J-just rinse off the food, then you can put it in the dishwasher." Jimin looked away with a blush, opening the dishwasher.

Jungkook noted it. Was forearms too much too? Or was Jungkook just attractive to him? "I can do that. So tell me about yourself. That is, if we're going to be friends." He started on the dishes.

"Um...well...I guess I'd say I'm an honest person, loyal, loving. I have a lot of care in my body." Jimin leaned against the counter beside Jungkook, though he looked away. "Um...I think my best quality is that people feel comfortable with me. I like that people feel comfortable being around me or talking to me. I want to make people feel at ease and heard."

"That's really kind of you. How about...hobbies of any kind?"

"Well, besides makeup, I workout a lot. I also draw and paint when I'm feeling like it. I um...I dance too, and sometimes I sing."

"Nice! That all sounds really fun. How often do you draw, can I see any?"

"Mmm, no. I'm too shy to share anything, sorry." Jimin smiled, stealing a glance at him.

Jungkook thought his eyes were pretty for a moment. "Aww, shame. I'm sure you're good, I'd love to see something you're passionate about. I saw um, I spent last night watching some of your videos...you've got a lot of charisma."

"So do you." Jimin hummed. "I've seen a couple of your compilations on your channel with Taehyung. You're very charming. Quite funny too."

"Why thank you." Jungkook smiled at being praised. "I do have a small question though."

"Shoot."

"Why are you so so different from your online personality to now?"

"Oh. Um...it's...very much a performance. Of course I love my viewers, they mean the world to me! But...I want...I want to be different from what they see, you know? I don't want them to know every single part of me. There's a lot I want to keep to myself." Jimin shrugged. "I think...it's better to keep to myself."

"I don't." Jungkook was blunt. "I think you're a very good performer, but it's kinda nice to just be yourself on camera and have people like you for it. Like you because of you. But then again...streaming is much different from videos. No editing, just...me. I dunno. I just don't get it." Jungkook finished, putting everything in the dishwasher and drying off his hands.

"I don't like me." Jimin said it plainly. "So. Do you want to stay longer or are you going to head out?" Jimin continued like he'd said nothing, but Jungkook couldn't let it slide.

"What? Why don't you- why don't you like yourself?" Jungkook frowned. He didn't get it at all. He didn't understand him at all.

"Why should I?" Jimin laughed a little. "So? Are you leaving or staying?"

"Um..." Jungkook kind of wanted to push the subject, but knew he shouldn't. Fuck, he just didn't understand him. "I'm free today."

But he could know him better. Really, all he was doing was making a new friend. They were just calling it dating, it wasn't actually dating.

"For real?"

"Yeah, I'm free." Jungkook shrugged, pulling his sleeves down. "What do you wanna do?"

"Um...actually I was going to go to some animal shelters today." Jimin looked embarrassed to share. Jungkook didn't understand that either. "I'm looking to find some pets for this house, but I've uh...set up a time today to actually volunteer and help out. If you don't want to go, that's okay! I don't know-"

"That sounds fun. If they have dogs, I'm certain I'll enjoy it." Jungkook watched Jimin get ready to go.

"They do! Um...I wasn't expecting you to want to come, but I usually film a little while I'm there, hopefully you don't mind?"

"Ah, right, of course. I don't mind. As long as you don't mind me being in it." Jungkook smiled, the two getting shoes on and heading out.

They went into Jimin's car. "You really don't have to come along."

"Trying to get rid of me already?" Jungkook teased him. He got a laugh out of him.

"No, I just don't want to bore you or keep you from things you've got planned for today." Jimin gave him a glance.

"Question." Jungkook looked at him as they drove off.

"Shoot."

"Do you always wear makeup? Like, do you ever not?" Jungkook questioned carefully, not wanting to be rude.

"Mmm, I wear makeup almost daily, cause I vlog my days. Sometimes I don't, on purely off days but...I kinda...work every day." Jimin shrugged. "I'm more comfortable with makeup on. I think I look pretty."

Jungkook nodded. "That's true. But don't you get tired?"

"Do you get tired of your job?" Jimin gave him a small glance, almost playfully, but it felt a little passive aggressive instead.

"Sometimes. But I like what I do, so I always go back to it."

"Then there you go. I do it everyday. Besides." Jimin smiled. "I like how it looks and I feel better when I have it on. You should try it, it's an entirely different feeling."

"Maybe. I don't really, well, do that." Jungkook laughed a little. He had never really tried to be feminine in any way, and he didn't really think it would fit his aesthetic. He was comfortable in his presentation and how he looked. Maybe that's what Jimin felt too.

"Take a step out of your comfort zone."

"Says you."

"Mm, touché." Jimin smiled at him. "Let's trade for a day then! I've done that with Taehyung, I could do that with you. Though you don't wear any makeup, mmm."

"Does Taehyung?"

"Sometimes."

"It's not a horrible idea." Jungkook thought about it. "Nothing I have would fit you though."

"Fuck no, we'd have to go out and get things. I don't have a single thing that would fit you."

"Jimin-ssi!" Jungkook had never heard him curse before.

"Hm? Oh-" he laughed. "What, do you not curse?"

"I- I just haven't heard you curse before, I didn't know you did." Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes.

Jimin laughed again. "What do you think of me?"

"Uh..." Jungkook wondered whether to be truthful or not.

"Oh come on, we've had an anti-date already, I don't mind."

"Well...I think you're a prude." Jungkook pursed his lips.

"I see." Jimin hummed with humor. "I guess you could say that, but I do curse and drink. I have some tattoos too, not quite as many as you, but some."

"Really?!" Jungkook was immediately interested. "Can I see them?!"

"Nope."

"Why not?" Jungkook whined, very interested in tattoos. His own sleeve was something he'd put a lot of time and money into, and he loved seeing them on other people too. "Awww, please?"

"You just called me a prude, you don't get to see them." Jimin smiled.

Jimin was teasing him. Jungkook smiled at the realization. "Well, then hopefully some time together will let me be able to see them."

Jimin laughed. "Not so sure about that."

"Why, is it somewhere that's scandalous?" Jungkook kept his smile.

"A little bit. I'm not lifting my shirt."

"Aww, why not?"

"Why, you curious?" Jimin side eyed him, Jungkook looking away.

"Well, to see the tattoo, yes."

"Mhm." Jimin laughed a little. "I'm sure that's it."

"Hey, come on, don't tease me."

"No? You tease me though." Jimin smiled. "How unfair of you."

"A-ah, well, you don't want me to tease you sorry." Jungkook felt a little embarrassed.

"If you tease me I have every right to tease you back, no? Oh lovely, we're here." Jimin parked and got out, Jungkook following. He felt a little out of place, as Jimin was wearing clothes for animals and Jungkook was still in comfortable clothes. Jimin started to vlog, Jungkook wondering how in the world he could be two people at once.

He'd switched his personality to his YouTube one, Jungkook smiling a little. It was cute how different he was, all happy and pretty. He sort of spaced out, listening to Jimin.

"So we've just arrived, and hopefully there's still a good amount of cats available for me to check out, otherwise I'll have to look around for more shelters. Let's head inside." He smiled and started walking, Jungkook following. "Don't worry about talking, I'll edit out everything or just have music instead of our actual words, mk?"

"O-okay." Jungkook felt a tiny bit nervous. They weren't really dating, but he had to fake it either way. But...at least his days were already different. It was kinda nice. "Well, I've never volunteered before! It'll be fun, right?"

"Mhm! I've always loved helping out, I try to volunteer at least twice a month, but I've been so busy. But...I'm looking to get a cat or two or more! I think my house could use some love in it."

"I think that's a great idea. It's rather large for one person."

"I like having the kitchen space but the rest of the house feels a little too big. So! Cats will fill the void."

"No dogs?"

Jimin giggled. "I love cats! Dogs are cute too though." He tsk'd in indecision. "Mmm...maybe some cats and a dog."

"You didn't think about dogs?! They're so cute and playful!"

"But cats are just- they're so calm, and regal, but just as playful. You just gotta know how they love, that's all! It's just not as obvious."

Jungkook nodded, smiling at him. "You know that's really cute of you to say."

"Ah-"

They entered the place, Jimin getting recognized by the owner immediately. Jungkook introduced himself and asked how to help, the two of them starting a day of helping out. Jungkook actually really enjoyed it. He liked playing with the dogs, really enjoyed being able to help the workers, and it seemed like he was good for business.

He did steal Jimin's phone at the end of their shift though, so that he could film Jimin looking at cats.

"Look at them." Jimin was pouting. "They're all so cute, how do I only pick one?"

"Pick two." Jungkook sat next to him on the floor. Some cats were coming up to them while some weren't.

"How do I only pick two?" Jimin pet them, Jungkook laughing a little.

"Pick three?"

"Oh gosh, but there's so many."

"Get as many as you can care for." Jungkook kind of liked being behind the camera. He wasn't used to that at all, but it was kinda nice. He also liked seeing Jimin act so happy. He pet some more of the cats coming by. "And a dog, I want to see a dog at your house."

Jimin laughed a little. "You won't be the one caring for it."

"Let's split the dog, I'll have him on the weekends."

Jimin laughed louder. "Only the weekends?"

"Half a week. Maybe."

"You might as well get your own dog instead of halving a dog with me." Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook feeling himself blush a tiny bit. He looked through the camera instead of at Jimin.

He cleared his throat. "I can't have pets in my house, so let me live through it at your house. God I want a dog."

"What kind?"

"Fluffy. Absolutely fluffy. Big or small, I don't mind, but I do enjoy big dogs...I'd love to go for a run with a dog." Jungkook fantasized. "Ah, what I wouldn't do to have a dog."

"Mmm...so...three cats...one dog...two...two dogs...?" Jimin spoke quietly, Jungkook laughing.

"How-" Jungkook tried to stabilize the camera as he laughed. "Sorry chat- whoops sorry- we're good now." Jungkook wasn't used to not being live. "How did it go from no dogs to two dogs?"

"Well I don't want anyone to be lonely!" Jimin sighed. "They're just all too cute. This is harder than I thought." Jimin pet a cat that had crawled into his lap. "This one though...I gotta make a down payment. I'm in love."

Jungkook gasped. "What about me?"

Jimin blushed, looking down at the cat. "What about you?"

Jungkook laughed and turned the camera to the other cats for him. He earned a glare once Jimin was off camera.

They spent some more time with the cats before Jimin took a small look at the dogs they had. Jungkook stole his phone again to get a closer look at his favorite dogs in the place, Jimin laughed and took it back, showing Jungkook for the first time, as he excitedly looked at the dogs and whined over them.

"Just look at them, they all deserve such a happy home. God d- do you curse on your channel?" Jungkook gave him a glance over his shoulder, Jimin giving him a nod.

"I'll give you an acceptation."

"They're so goddamn cute." Jungkook sighed heavily. "Let me take them all home." He whined, having to say goodbye to the lovely dogs.

"Another day." Jimin led them out, saying goodbye and thanks to the owner after putting down a payment for the one cat he absolutely wanted.

He stopped filming for the moment. "What're you gunna name her?"

"I'm not sure yet. You tired?"

"Nope! I'm energized from it actually. They're just so...so cute. God, I really can't handle it. I want them all." Jungkook felt really happy at the moment. He kind of actually sort of hoped that Jimin would leave a lot of their interactions in his video.

"Wanna adventure more?"

"Sure, I'm down. I haven't vlogged in literally years."

"You only game?"

"I vlog during conventions, but that's about it. I'm just good at playing games and I enjoy it, you know? But today has actually been a lot of fun."

"Well you can't go wrong with animals." Jimin started to drive. "I'll have to integrate them. You know, one at a time. But...I can't get a cat without getting ready for one. I need to get food, litter box, toys, a bed, probably some medicine and I'll have to get her a checkup immediately. Some food and water bowls- write this down, will you?"

"Sure, sure." Jungkook got his phone out to take a note.

"Let's see...maybe a collar or a bow. Awww, a bow would be so pretty. They're indoor cats so I won't need a bell or anything like that. Stuff for a bath. Tell me if I've missed anything."

"I've never owned a cat before Jimin-ssi." Jungkook shrugged. "I really wouldn't know. That sounds like basic necessities though?"

"I'm about to be hundreds of dollars poorer."

____

Jimin came home hundreds of dollars poorer and full of cat supplies. Jungkook had been a huge help, carrying all the heavy things into the house and had even started to set things up.

Jimin got his better camera while they were in his house, showing what he was making for dinner. "I know it looks like a lot but I'm not eating all of it. Jungkook is, he eats a lot." He turned the camera around to show Jungkook building a small cat playground thing he bought. "I don't even know what he's building I shouldn't be granted money." He turned it back around to him. "So we're going to eat dinner, probably watch something, and that's going to be my day." Jimin waved goodbye.

"What the fuck am I making?"

Jimin turned the camera to him. "What are you making?"

"I have no idea, what the fuc-" Jungkook looked up and embarrassedly censored himself. "What am I making? You bought the thing."

"I dunno, I just bought it? Anyways~ wanna say bye?"

"Say bye with me." Jungkook grinned up at him, Jimin a little embarrassed now that Jungkook's sweater was off. His arms were...mmm.

"Aish, fine." Jimin propped up the camera and sat by Jungkook. "Do you know how I end my videos?"

"Of course!" Jungkook smiled proudly. Jimin couldn't help but smile too.

"Go ahead and do it." Jimin couldn't help but keep his smile. He'd had a really nice day and he was excited to get some pets in the house. He was financially stable, he was staying in this house for a long time, he was lonely...it was perfect for pets.

"Okay. Well, thank you all for watching, I hope you enjoyed your stay. Remember to eat, remember to drink water, and I will see you next time." Jungkook waved.

"I love you all, bye!" Jimin waved as well, before turning the camera off. "Thank you Jungkook. I had a lot of fun today."

"Me too! I haven't vlogged in a long time, but it was pretty fun." Jungkook sat on his feet. "I liked going to the shelter, it was really nice to um...learn more about you."

Jimin looked away from Jungkook. "Let's eat, I'm sure you're starving." He stood up, holding his hand out to help Jungkook up.

Jungkook graciously took it, Jimin noting how fucking big his hands were. His own felt tiny in comparison. "I am starving! I can't wait to have more of your food though, lunch was amazing."

"You're too kind." They went to the table that Jimin had set. "It's good, for sure! But I'm not so positive it's amazing."

"I thought it tasted delicious and I'm picky." Jungkook laughed a little. "I think I got whatever playhouse you bought for your future cats made. It's fucking huge."

"I know, I wasn't expecting it to be so huge but whatever! I don't usually spend time in the living room anyways."

"Why not?" The two started eating, Jimin a lot more comfortable to converse now. "You have such a lovely house."

"I...don't spend time there? I have mostly all I need upstairs or in the kitchen." Jimin thought about it. "I don't like being alone. The living room feels too big to me, so I'm hoping some animals will fill that void."

"Are you sure you can take care of so many pets alone?" Jungkook seemed to show some concern.

Jimin nodded. "Yeah. I'll get one at a time. Learn how to take care of one cat, get another, learn how to take care of two cats, then see from there. I just don't want anyone to be lonely."

"Then why are you?"

Jimin was not expecting that blunt question. He didn't even know how to answer it. "Um...I don't think I...understand." He looked down.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. I meant like...why are you lonely if you have so many people around you?" Jungkook looked at him, Jimin unable to meet his gaze.

"Just because I have a lot of people around me doesn't mean I can't be lonely." Jimin sighed. "Look Jungkook. I might be warming up to you, but don't ask such questions. You're pushing your luck."

"Sorry, I just- I don't understand you." Jungkook apologized again. "You're so effortlessly beautiful yet you aren't confident in your face. You're so effortlessly kind yet you don't reach out to others when you feel lonely. I just don't get it." Jungkook shook his head. "I just don't get it." He repeated himself before sighing. "Sorry. I just...I want to help you, you know? I want you to be happier. I saw you being so genuinely happy today but then- then the camera turns off and I feel like I don't know anything."

"That's because you don't. And that's because I don't want you to. And I don't want most people to understand." Jimin didn't feel like meeting Jungkook's eyes, even though he knew he was still looking at him. "I did have fun today. I really did. Most of that- most of that was honest. But being on camera is when I can be free, not me. People don't like seeing me, even if they're- even when I post something more down to earth or about some minor problems, people are going to be nice, but that's not what they want to see."

"That doesn't matter! You should post what you want to post."

"And I post what I want people to see. You're not suddenly going to know everything about me Jungkook." Jimin felt a little defensive. "So stop picking away shit I've built up, okay? It's there for a reason and you're not special. You don't get to come into my home and tell me my problems."

"I'm so sorry I just- I don't- I- I don't get it at all."

"And that's how it's going to stay. This is fake. Okay? I told you that friendship is as far as I'll take it."

"I'm not pushing for more!" Jungkook really tried to make him understand. "I just want to be at least a friend."

"Why?" Jimin finally looked up at him.

"I don't want you to feel lonely." Jungkook still spoke bluntly. "If that's just calling like you do with Taehyung, or- or coming over when I can. I can help with moving that fucking contraption, I can help with getting animals, I can- I can help." Jungkook had an honest look on his face, Jimin noting how wide his eyes were.

He looked so young at the moment.

"I don't need help." Jimin shook his head a little. "I just need some time."

"But-"

"No Jungkook. I'll ask you to do fun things with me, but I don't want you to concern yourself with my concerns. Okay?" Jimin looked at their food. He couldn't finish everything again.

"Jimin..." Jungkook was pouting, nearly frowning. "Let me be here for you."

"Why should I?" Jimin couldn't help but analyze him now. He hadn't really before, but now they were arguing and he was trying to distract himself.

"Because...you just said you were lonely and I have nothing but free time."

"You- you stream nearly every day of the week."

"Besides that."

"That's not nothing but free time!"

"You know what I mean! If you need someone to text, or call, or need to come over, I'm really not that far away!" Jungkook huffed. "Let me be a friend. I'm better at calling than texting. Please don't text me." His tone changed back to playful, Jimin a little confused.

Jimin looked at him in confusion. "What?"

"I'm horrible at texting back. I text back months late, it's- I don't know why." Jungkook shook his head. "Except for setting up times to play games, then I'll get back. I know- I- I don't know why."

Jimin laughed a little in disbelief. "Then why did you get back to me?"

"Well...uh...I dunno, I guess it was important. Since we're gunna be doing this." Jungkook blushed a tiny bit. "And I want you to be able to contact me."

"Well...thank you for that but...if you'd rather me call you than I can do that."

"Mmm, not sure if I'd rather do that, but it's a quicker way to get to me." Jungkook gave him an honest smile, though he still looked...sad. "So please...don't...be afraid to contact me."

"I'll consider it." Jimin watched Jungkook's eyes falter. He was trying to be kind, but he was still being blunt and a tiny bit rude. Though Jimin could tell he didn't mean it rudely, he was still saying it.

"Only consider?"

"Jungkook." Jimin tried to politely explain. "I don't know you very well. I won't be willing to open up to you like a friend yet, since I'm still getting to know you at the moment. I appreciate the sentiment, but I won't be opening up to you in detail for a longer amount of time."

"Oh." Jungkook pouted, looking down but nodding. "Okay." He looked like a sad puppy.

"That doesn't mean I'm not willing to do things with you, but don't expect midnight calls." Jimin didn't really understand Jungkook either. Why did he want to "help" him so quickly? Wouldn't he rather want to run away and get back to his day to day life?

"Okay." He nodded again. "Well, my offer stands. I should probably head home, I've got a busy day tomorrow."

"Alright. I'll uh...guess I'll leave you some messages to read later for next time." Jimin started to stack dishes.

"Let me help clean up."

"No it's-" Jimin fret.

Jungkook stood up and took the dishes. "Are you...not going to finish this?"

"Nope, I'll pack it up though. You can take it home if you found it so amazing." Jimin took the bowl on top with the extra food, getting a container.

"Jimin..."

"Save it." Jimin smiled at him. "Take your concern for me and throw it away. I know what I'm doing, I know how to take care of myself. Okay?"

"Jimin..." Jungkook sighed heavily. "Sorry. I'd love to take the extra home, it was really good and I'm not a good cook."

"I could teach you how to make some things?"

"Come over." Jungkook looked...mm, almost desperate? Jimin couldn't really tell what Jungkook was feeling.

"Oh yeah? When are you free?" Jimin tried to change the tone of their conversation.

"U-um...Tuesday." Jungkook thought about it. "Yeah. I'm not streaming on that day. C-come over."

"I'll have to see if I can. If you don't mind me vlogging." Jimin watched Jungkook rinse the dishes again, putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

It was kind of a nice to have someone in his house.

"I don't mind! But uhhhhhhh I have to clean my house." Jungkook laughed. "It's dirty I'm so sorry."

Jimin laughed a little. "Oh? How could you live somewhere dirty?"

"I'm busy! I just haven't gotten to it yet but I'll do it now that you'll be coming over."

"Well...thanks for coming over. I had a lot of fun." Jimin looked down. "Maybe next time we can relax instead of digging into my problems though."

"I'm so sorry, I really don't know when to shut up, I know I do that." Jungkook reached out to touch Jimin before retracting. "Sorry."

Jimin didn't flinch. "At least you're aware. But seriously. Friendship, okay?" He held out his hand, Jungkook looking at it before shaking it.

"Okay. Friendship." Jungkook smiled at him. "Call me when you want, okay? I answer calls all the time on stream."

"How unprofessional." Jimin hummed and let go, giving Jungkook the left overs.

"Hey, I stream for 10 plus hours okay? I'm allowed to take a phone call." Jungkook smiled at him, looking down a little. "Besides...I like your voice."

Jimin walked him to the door. "Thank you."

"Hopefully you can come over."

"I should be able to, but you never know. Maybe later in the day. Or night time. I'm busy too." Jimin thought for a moment. "Is Tuesday the only or the just the next day you're free?"

"Just the next."

"I'll check my schedule. I think I have something."

"Then I'll keep in touch for the next time I'm free." Jungkook tried to meet him halfway.

"I'll keep talking to you too." Jimin nodded. "Thanks for coming over today. I had a lot of fun."

"I had a lot of fun too." Jungkook smiled. "I'd give you a hug but...I guess I'll live with a handshake."

"Maybe another time. Goodnight Jungkook."

"Goodnight Jimin-ssi." Jungkook bowed a little before leaving.

Jimin closed the door and exhaled deeply. Jungkook was too kind, too caring, too soft for the world. He'd be too concerned about him if he kept trying to figure him out. He really needed Jungkook to stop. They were going to be friends, not best friends. He was no Taehyung, and he never would be. He had to stop picking him apart.

Jimin didn't like how blunt Jungkook was. He already knew everything he said, he didn't want to hear it again. He had enough rude comments online, he had enough rude comments in his head, he had enough about knowing. He already knew it all.

He got ready for bed, thinking about cats and his time with Jungkook. He'd had a lot of fun but it seemed to all but disappear once they got home. Jungkook was fun to be around. He seemed genuine all the time, like this was his first life.

Jimin didn't feel that way. Jimin didn't think he was happy at all. If he was left alone with his thoughts, he was immediately saddened. If he wasn't busy, he felt lonely. If he wasn't out with friends, he was empty.

He wished he could be more like Jungkook.

Jimin drove to a restaurant that Taehyung wanted to try. He'd just gotten done with a photo shoot so he still looked fancy. He hoped he didn't look too out of place as he arrived, knowing he was late. "Reservation for Kim?" Jimin asked once again, a waiter taking him to his table.

"Late again I see."

"Hello to you too." Jimin sat down with a smile. "How're you doing?"

"Good! I'm excited to try this place out."

They ordered before Taehyung gave him a look.

"Spit it out, come on." Jimin sighed.

"Are you two seriously dating?" Taehyung shook his head, bewildered. "You must be pulling my leg."

"I'm really not pulling your leg! We are dating." Jimin smiled at Taehyung's reaction. "We just hung out the other day actually. He's kinda shit at texting but he gets back."

"He gets back to you? That bastard." Taehyung huffed. "I can't believe you two. You're really serious, aren't you."

"I'm serious. We've been talking for a while and I'm...I'm um..." Jimin hated how honest he was being. "I'm feeling happier. Just a little bit." Jimin blushed a little bit.

"For real?"

Jimin nodded. "I'm serious. I'll see how it goes, but...I...I am serious."

"Then...I hope it turns out how you want it. Has he been kind?"

"He's been kind. A little blunt, but, well, he's getting used to me. You know how it'll be. I'm quite the uh...experience."

"You're perfect, you know?" Taehyung smiled at him. "I just hope he's good for you. God you look gorgeous tonight."

Jimin beamed. "Thank you. I'm really happy with how the photos turned out today. They're really good about my requirements."

"Well you're fucking hot in turtlenecks too, of course they'd be fine with you covering up. You're just- you're a perfect model, I don't understand. You're handsome but cute but sexy-"

"Ahhh, stop stop, you know I can't handle that." Jimin blushed more. "B-but thank you. I really am um...working on it. I'm just not used to being seen as...mmm...attractive."

"Seriously, you've lost all your baby fat. You're so fucking handsome and you're really cute too. Depends on the time of day and the amount of direct sunlight." Taehyung joked around while at the same time being serious.

"Oh yes, plus if the stars are aligned and if the sun is brighter than usual."

"Oh pshh, come on. You're gorgeous and I'm lucky to be your friend, mk? So you tell me if Jungkook ever crosses a line, I'll be there for you okay?"

Jimin laughed. "He's a sweetheart, really." He looked down. "He's just a little...mmm...young, if you know what I mean. He doesn't quite get it."

"Yeah. Inexperienced and well, just young."

"He's handsome, I'll give him that." Jimin smiled to himself. "But I'm still...you know. Nervous. Not really ready for that conversation yet."

"Hey. He's a good guy, I know that much. As much as I'm still surprised that you're actually dating him...he is a good guy. Kind to his heart. A little naïve, but he's good."

"Yeah I've kinda...pieced that together. He's kind, really...I'm just trying to find it in me to explain why I can't do uh, normal dating things."

"He hasn't pushed for anything, has he?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow.

"No no, he hasn't. He's been patient so far but I know how it is." Jimin shrugged. "I know that guys tend to want more."

"Well if you're truly serious about him, then you show him what's what." Taehyung nodded a little. "He's a pushover when it comes to handsome men."

"Oh come on." Jimin blushed a little more. "I'm not sure how long-"

"Oh no no, we are not starting that." Taehyung kicked Jimin's leg under the table. "You're handsome, he's a pushover for you, and he'll stay with you. End of story, I'm not arguing."

"Fine fine." Jimin smiled and looked up at him. "So, how's that party you've been planning coming along?"

Jungkook deep cleaned his apartment, not wanting Jimin to see a single spot of dust while he was here.

He did the laundry, he did the dishes, he swept and dusted and vacuumed and cleaned his entire apartment before Jimin arrived. He should've done this sooner, but now that he had pressure to clean everything it was getting done. He wore rather loose workout clothes, since mostly everything else was in the dryer at the moment, as he finished cleaning up. He could deep clean the bathroom another day.

He was finishing up the kitchen when he heard a knock on his door. He happily went to get it, wiping his forehead quickly before opening the door.

Jimin blushed nearly immediately, looking away. "J-jesus Jungkook, at least put on a shirt."

Jungkook smiled a little and pulled him inside. "Sorry, I was cleaning and it got warm. The kitchen is yours! Let me put on a shirt."

Jimin nodded but didn't look up, Jungkook smiling wider. Jimin looked so cute when he blushed, and god he looked pretty. Maybe he always looked pretty. Jungkook liked how Jimin acted around him; he was bashful but confident but still shameful. He didn't understand it at all, but Jimin was pretty.

He liked his voice too. He changed his shirt, wondering how Jimin lived in long sleeves when it was warm. He'd never seen him in a tank top, rarely even in a short sleeved shirt, and all of his professional pictures were in button downs.

Jungkook was probably making weird faces as he got back into the kitchen, since Jimin gave him an odd look. "You good?"

"Hm? Oh yeah, I was just thinking. Don't you have another like, another magazine coming out or something?"

"You've done research I see." Jimin smiled and spread everything he brought out on the counter. He brought a lot of food. "I do. Are you thinking about what I'll be wearing?"

"Maybe. I might just have to buy it." Jungkook cheekily responded. He kind of wanted Jimin to do some sort of research on him too...

"Oh please, that's embarrassing. Taehyung buys them too but god I get so embarrassed." Jimin blushed as he waved Jungkook over.

"I think you're handsome though, so really, I might just have to buy it." Jungkook smiled. He liked how Jimin blushed, it looked cute. "Why do you get embarrassed?"

"Well...I dunno, seeing myself places makes me embarrassed? It's so weird to see myself...I don't feel like I'm cool or special enough but I know I've done good things! You know?"

"Mmm..." Jungkook tried to word what he wanted to say. "I get it. But you have done good things, and you are a good model. It makes sense why people would want to sponsor and have you as a model and spokesperson. You've helped a lot of people."

"Mhm." Jimin smiled and looked at the counter. "I'm happy about that. Sometimes I forget how much I've done, I think that's all."

"I think you forget how much you can do." Jungkook sidled up next to him. "So. What are we making today?"

"My favorite. You'll have to tell me your favorite too so I can make it another time." Jimin smiled at him, Jungkook liking how kind he was even after he'd said some rude things. He wanted to watch his tongue a little more for Jimin.

"Oo, lamb skewers is my go to. I don't usually have them though, unless my hyung takes me out. I'm-" Jungkook laughed a little in embarrassment as they started to make something slowly. "I'm sort of...always home?"

"A hermit?"

"Sort of. I go out to the gym and sometimes out with a friend."

"Ooo, so this is special hm?" Jimin nearly beamed. "Oh good, then I'm happy to be someone to get you out of the house."

Jungkook remembered Taehyung's request to make Jimin have fun. "I'm happy to get you out of the house too."

"You're more of a recluse than I am. Cut this and then put it in the bowl."

"Still. If I can be your entertainment for the day then that's enough for me." Jungkook smiled, cutting whatever Jimin asked him to. "Besides, I haven't had someone over in a long time."

"How come?" Jimin glanced at him, Jungkook smiling back. He couldn't help it.

"Well, my online friends don't live around here, and I don't like people being in my home. I'm just...well...not amazing at talking to people?"

"Aww, there's no shame in being introverted. I understand that. But I think I need to be around people to feel okay." Jimin nodded. "Alright now we just put it on the stove and viola!"

"Wow, that's really easy." Jungkook was honestly surprised.

"And low calories. Perfect, hm?"

"I don't mind having high calories. I work it off anyways, you know?" Jungkook stood over the stove to watch the food while Jimin leaned against the counter once again.

"Yeah, fair. I feel like I'm always on a calorie deficit though. Never quite thin enough for my company, yet always beautiful enough to take a picture. Wild, hm?"

"Why are you okay with that?" Jungkook shook his head. "I...gaining weight means more muscles to me. You know? I like that, I like being strong."

"You've definitely got a lot of muscles." Jimin looked at the food. "Looks good, mm?"

"Do you not like my muscles?" Jungkook pouted. "I worked so hard for them, you don't want to see them?"

"Christ, no." Jimin shook his head with a blush. "I'm...not a fan of seeing um...half naked people."

"I cover up! Mostly." Jungkook thought about it for a moment. "Well, maybe I'm a liar. I think I look good."

"I know for a fact you've posted shirtless pictures of yourself." Jimin made eye contact with him before looking down.

Jungkook grinned. "Oh yeah? Did you like what you saw?"

"Nope, I don't like looking at half naked people. Not a big fan." Jimin laughed. "I get enough of that."

"Aw fuck, do people send you pictures?"

"Mhm. I try not to open new messages, I never like what I see. Gotta censor myself somehow, so I just...try not to get involved with new people. But you're lucky."

"How so?" Jungkook turned his attention to Jimin, stirring absentmindedly.

"Cause! I'm here with you."

"Then of course I'm lucky. You're fun to be around and I'm happy you came over...even if it's all for a joke."  Jungkook kept looking at him, Jimin looking over at the food.

"Don't let it burn."

"Oops." Jungkook looked back at the food, stirring and deciding if it was ready or not. "I mean it though. Can we be friends?"

"We can figure it out on the way. I'm still cautious, sorry, but...men uh...scare me sometimes." He laughed anxiously, Jungkook taking the wok off the stove to look at him.

"Are you scared of me?" Jungkook was honestly concerned.

"Well..." Jimin didn't look at him. "A little bit. You're so big and- and you've got a lot of muscles. You could easily do whatever you want to me."

"Oh Jimin, no, I'm- while that may be true, I'm not going to touch you. Ever. Until you're comfortable around me, I'm all hands off."

"And if one day I do get comfortable around you?"

"Then I would love to hug you." Jungkook said it plainly. "I'm not here to push your boundaries. If anything, I'm here to learn and have a new friend." He smiled. "I'm sorry I make you feel cautious, I'll do my best to ease your worry." He never wanted Jimin to feel scared around him, never ever. He had to show him somehow that he was truly a softy and kind.

Though, he could only do that through time.

"I can trust Taehyung's judgement but...still gotta learn more about you, you know?" Jimin shrugged, still looking nervous.

"Of course! I'll give you my time if you give me yours, and I'll trust you if you trust me. Now, is this all you do for this meal?"

Jimin nodded. "That's all."

"Perfect!" Jungkook got plates and set the table. It was way smaller than Jimin's. "Thank you for coming over and teaching me, I'll be sure to return the favor one day." He kicked Jimin's foot with his own playfully and softly. "I can't believe I've had the honor of being able to know you like this. This is...much better than the first time we met."

Jimin blushed a little. "Yeah...this is much nicer. Thanks for not being an asshole."

"Thanks for giving me a chance. I didn't know enough about you and I was a little...mmm, well, too much of me."

"I don't mind teasing but...if I don't know you I take it as a little antagonizing. I can understand now that you weren't poking fun, but...I'm happy to start again. We got off on the wrong foot, that's all."

"Good!" Jungkook felt happy. He wished he was older when he met Jimin the first time. Maybe they could've been friends for longer. But this would have to do, and he was happy with it, content to be Jimin's friend. "Good." He looked down to eat his food, smiling proudly.

"You're cute." Jimin giggled a little. "Why do you look like a happy little puppy? Did you get a new toy, hm?"

Jungkook laughed. "I'm just happy to be your friend!"

"Just like a puppy! No wonder you like dogs so much, you're just like them!" Jimin laughed a little more, getting comfortable. "Do you...want to go with me to pick up my cat?"

"When is it?"

"In a week."

"If it's a Tuesday then yes! I would love to."

"Good. I want her to get used to you as well as me." Jimin poked at his food.

"Why's that?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Expecting me over a lot?"

"Well...even...even if we aren't really dating, I still want to have you over." Jimin smiled a little. "Um...I look forward to...having another friend. And Taehyung's going to have to see us together you know."

"I know. And he will, when we've had more time to get to know each other. Otherwise he'll see an awkward couple and make fun of us." Jungkook chuckled.

"We are awkward though! And that's okay, but I agree. I'd like to have some "us time" before we hang out with others as a "couple" too." Jimin nodded with a smile. "I'm enjoying it though. I'm happy to have some time out of my house, but once I get my cat we're staying at my house."

"Well, I don't have a problem with that." Jungkook felt Jimin kick him back from earlier.

"Thank you. Really, I mean it." He looked sincere, his eyes wide and honest. Jungkook thought his eyes were so pretty at that moment.

"Of course." Jungkook looked at him with endearment. "I like hanging out with you, and I'll never deny an animal. Besides, I've gotta set up the rest of the shit you bought, I promised you that."

"Oh sure, it's not like there's much. I've been busy reorganizing my room for another collaboration soon. My makeup room was so messy but I had to get-" Jimin suddenly stopped, his smile fading. "Oh sorry, you're probably not interested."

"No no, let me listen! I like hearing you talk about what you're interested in." Jungkook's chest tightened at the idea that someone had been uninterested in Jimin's words. "Let me listen, tell me about your makeup room."

"You sure?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I'm sure." Jungkook nodded, wanting Jimin to talk more.

"Mk. Well...I- I had to reorganize my makeup room, right? So I had to go out and find a bunch of containers that would work, but none of them were cute enough. So I had to look online and find containers. Do you know just- just how much concealer alone I have?"

"I have no idea."

"I have a lot." Jimin laughed. "So a box for every thing, you know, one for eyeliner, one for lipstick, one for everything."

"So...your rooms a mess?"

"My rooms a mess." Jimin lamented. "Everything's in the old containers and I have to wait till the new ones come before I can really clean it up."

"Need any help with it?"

"Mm. Maybe. I'm getting a new work table too, and I want some more natural light instead of only having artificial light."

"Sounds like a big project."

Jimin nodded enthusiastically. "It is! I'm changing things up a bit." He looked down with a smile. "I...I wanna get better. And that means I need to change some things. First things first...is my every day living areas."

"Let me help! I'm a good extra pair of hands." Jungkook was eager to help, especially since he didn't want Jimin to be alone.

"You sure you have time?"

"I can always make time."

"I don't want to pressure you or anything."

"Don't worry! I'm offering." Jungkook smiled, leaning on his hand, elbow on the table. His attention was on Jimin. "I'll offer my assistance since I don't see you gaining much muscle in the next few weeks." He looked him up and down a little, teasing him only slightly.

"I'll take your offer than. Just don't flaunt your arms and I think I'll be able to handle it." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Why, you like looking?"

"The opposite."

"Awww, but I love how they look!" Jungkook pouted for show. "I've worked out just for this."

"You work out just for the looks?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"No, for helping! The tattoos are for the looks, although, I love every single one of them." Jungkook rolled his sleeve up, looking at them. "Don't you think so?" He looked back at Jimin.

"W-well, they're certainly cool." Jimin barely looked at them, Jungkook still wondering why he was so shy around simply skin being shown. He understood not wanting to see a bunch of exposed skin, either out of politeness or feeling uncomfortable, but just...his arm? He didn't quite understand it.

"Wanna...look at them?" Jungkook really did want Jimin to look at them. "They're special."
Jimin gave a small glance before looking down again.

"Sorry."

"No no, don't worry." Jungkook pulled his sleeve down. "I won't push it, though...one day I'd love to see your tattoos."  He smiled at the thought. "I think tattoos are beautiful."

"They are. They're art, you know? It's not just ink."

"I agree! It is art."

"Yours...are very pretty." Jimin spoke quietly. "And one day I'd like to be able to look at them closer, but for now...I'm still a little too nervous." He laughed anxiously. "Sorry."

"No no! Don't apologize." Jungkook smiled at him. "I'm pretty patient, but don't leave me hanging." He took their plates and put them in the sink. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jimin looked up at him with a smile. "That sounds good."

"Perfect! Do you want dessert?"

"Oh no, I-" Jimin shook his head. "I'm still on a deficit."

"Aw come on. Not even like, a bite? I just got some ice cream the other day cause it's been getting warm, so...are you sure?"

"I'm sure." Jimin sighed. "I...have to count calories and all."

"Then count like, 10 calories? Not- sorry, I won't push it." Jungkook raised his hands in defeat. "Thanks for lunch Jimin-ssi, I'm happy you're here."

"Hey, are you free?" Jimin smiled a little at him.

"For today yeah. Why?" Jungkook couldn't help but smile back.

"I could use some muscle help for today. I have to get some things for my room and well, if you aren't busy I'd steal you for a couple hours." Jimin stood from the table, Jungkook nodding.

"Sure! What do you need?"

"Well...some paint for one, and just- miscellaneous things really, it's an odd list."

"I'd love to help! I can set up your other cat thing too if you need help."

"When are you free after today?" Jimin got his shoes back on, the two of them getting into Jimin's car.

"Why, can't get enough of me?" Jungkook grinned.

"Oh shut up." Jimin laughed, starting to drive. "I just want to know, that's all."

"That's all?"

"Well, you wanted to help, didn't you? When are you free?"

"I'll make time, so whenever your things arrive just call me and I'll come over." Jungkook wanted to be there for him. All the time, anytime. He needed someone who could be around more, and Jungkook...kind of wanted to be that person. Taehyung was fucking busy, they both knew that, but Jungkook wasn't as busy. He could still change his schedule too, to fit in more time out of the house. Especially if Jimin was going to include him in his life.

Jungkook could tell that Jimin was excited to have him around. He could tell that Jimin was reaching out a lot and trying to get them to hang out more. But he could tell it wasn't because they were fake dating. It seemed that Jimin was just...deeply lonely. In a way that Jungkook could never understand, but wanted to be there for him. He really really wanted to be there for him.

"You sure?" Jimin gave him a glance. "I wouldn't want to...you know."

"I'm positive. Anytime, okay? I'm here to help! Seriously, I'm serious." Jungkook watched Jimin look at him skeptically, laughing a little. "I mean it!"

"Any time?"

"Mhm!"

"Any time?"

"I'm serious!" Jungkook laughed. "Call. I'll pick up."

"Hm." Jimin pursed his lips in thought. "Fine. I'll believe you."

Jungkook laughed again. "Do you take me for a liar?"

"Well, no, but I don't know yet."

"Then know me better." Jungkook was relaxed in the car. He felt comfortable being in Jimin's presence.

"Sure. Come over some more."

"I should! Invite me over."

"Really...you can...come over whenever you want..." Jimin spoke shyly. "Just text me when you're on your way."

Jungkook smiled more. "Seriously?"

"Yeah." He blushed, sighing heavily. "Don't abuse it."

"Oh I won't! Thank you Jimin-ssi!" Jungkook grinned happily, looking at Jimin.

"Yeah...I'm usually home. I don't go out that much. I've only been busy because I'm remodeling my main room at the moment." Jimin smiled a little. "But after that, well..."

"I'll keep you busy, don't worry." Jungkook teased him. "Since you're becoming my friend too you'll understand just how much attention I need."

"You stream in front of thousands. Sometimes you have millions when you go to events. Is that not enough attention for you?"

"Sometimes I need personal attention. Fans, they're lovely, really, but they don't know me know me like a close friend would."

"Well...I guess we're in the same boat. I need attention too." Jimin shyly spoke.

"Oh? How much?"

"...a lot..."

"Oh good! We can trade. I'll come over, you teach me how to cook more meals, and we hang out. And, if you'd like, we can make videos for your channel. And if you really need more attention...you can stream with me."

Jimin laughed. "Deal. Though I'm not a huge fan of going live..."

"Ah, right, I heard from Taehyung. I would never let shit happen in chat, and besides, my chat is really kind. They're stupid kind, you know? And I've gotten a lot of uh, different attention now."

Jimin laughed a little. "You've got queer fans now?"

"I mean, I got a sudden high subscription rate last week so I think so." Jungkook laughed. "But it's...kinda nice..." he smiled to himself. "I haven't been out before so...it's nice to get such a happy welcome. My streams have felt much more genuine lately too, and I'm- I'm happy to have people feel safe with me, you know?"

Jimin nodded. "That's why I came out immediately. I wanted people to know I was somewhere safe and welcoming and open. Though when I did it, it was still not quite as kind, but now...I would've done the same thing had I been given a choice to start over."

"I am super proud of you. I look up to you for being able to do that. I was really scared." Jungkook pouted a little. "I don't know why I always think people will be mean."

"They will be."

"Huh?"

"They will be mean. But many people will also be kind, and you just have to keep moving forward. Having people who you know love you is- is so important, okay? I'm proud of you for coming out."

"Thank you Jimin." Jungkook smiled softly. He liked when Jimin took care of him.

"Yeah."

They spent their day getting paint, new rugs, and new decorations. Jimin even promised Jungkook that he would put one thing in his background from him.

When Jungkook was dropped off, he felt a little sad having to say goodbye. He was starting to warm up to Jimin really quickly.

____

Jimin exhaled deeply as they moved his new desk into his room. "Jesus fuck!"

"Fucking hell, that shits heavy!" Jungkook complained as well as they set it down.

"Th-thank you, god that would've taken me all day!"

"No problem! But goddamn it that's heavy. Why'd you need such a heavy desk?"

"It's- I'm sponsored by them and they were gracious enough to send me their newest desk! It's basically made for makeup, I can't wait to try it out! I can have-" Jimin gave Jungkook a look.

"No no, go on." Jungkook smiled, taking a look at the desk while Jimin gushed over it.

"It's really just- it's really cool, okay? I can have all my regulars right here next to me and it comes with a mirror you can attach onto it but I'll be recording so I won't use it, but still! It's really pretty and I- well, I'm excited to use it! It's going to make everything prettier."

"You're already pretty though." Jungkook opened some of the drawers.

"W-well, I- it'll- it'll just be even better."

Jungkook smiled. "But Jimin-ssi, everyone will become charmed by you! You're charming enough, but your happiness will definitely sweep everyone off their feet."

"Jungkook why- why are you complimenting me?"

"Hm? Oh it's just truth." Jungkook looked at Jimin, watching him shyly look away. "Are you not used to compliments?"

"Not...directly? I'm used to comments but not...not directly...Taehyung says them but I'm not used to that either." Jimin laughed a little. "Odd, huh? As a makeup YouTuber you'd think I'd be used to a lot of things that I'm not."

"That's fine. A little ironic, but fine. As long as you're happy, you know?"

"Yeah. I'm pretty happy actually. A lot of good things are happening for me, you know? I've got a lot going for me."

"You do! And it's super cool. I don't really get sponsors, but I have a lot of popularity which I appreciate. I love being seen, you know? Ah- there I go again. I guess I'm just an attention whore."

Jimin bursted out laughing.

Jungkook smiled at him. He had a good laugh, he liked it a lot. His smile was pretty too. "I mean it! I need so much."

Jimin wiped his eyes. "I never thought I'd hear those words come out of your mouth. I'm dying." He kept laughing, sitting down on the floor.

Jungkook laughed a little with him, but mostly he was appreciating what Jimin looked like when he was happy. Honestly happy. Jungkook tucked this into one of his favorite memories. "You're beautiful." Jungkook spoke quietly.

"Hm?" Jimin looked up at him with a wide smile.

"Nothing. Need help organizing anything?"

"Nope. The rest is organizing my makeup and I'm afraid you don't know the difference between eyeliner and lip liners." Jimin wiped his eyes again.

Jungkook shook his head. "I mean obviously they're for your eyes and lips but...they're pencils aren't they?"

"You're learning!" Jimin teased him. "You'd have to read all of the labels instead of just knowing though. Besides...I can do it on my own."

"Well, I guess I was just here for moving things."

"It was nice to paint with you too. I think the new color looks lovely."

"It does!" Jungkook looked around the room again before his stomach growled. "Oh gosh I should head home, get something to eat."

"Let me make you something!" Jimin perked up. "I can make you something instead."

"It's getting a little late though Jimin, shouldn't I head home and stop bothering you?"

"You aren't a bother at all! Let me make you dinner. As a thank you, if you need a reason." Jimin smiled at him. "Besides...I don't mind if you spend the night either. Unless you're busy tomorrow!" He blushed.

"Oh, I guess I could." Jungkook shrugged. "I'll have to get home before 12, that's all. So...yeah. I could." He shrugged, seeing Jimin smile at him. "You sure?"

"Yeah! I haven't had anyone over in a while, but it'll be fine. Better than you heading home now though, it did get a little late didn't it." Jimin pouted. "Sorry for keeping you."

Jungkook smiled at him. "Hey. I don't mind. Not at all, really. But you're right, it did get a little late didn't it. Fuck, I didn't even realize how long it took to get this room together."

"Well that's what happens when you paint an entire room." Jimin laughed a little. "You have to wait for paint to dry."

"I realize that now. But I didn't know just how much went into painting walls. There's so many layers!"

"And that paint is not going to get out of your shirt, I'm so sorry. I'll have to buy you another one."

"Naw, it's fine." Jimin started to lead them to the kitchen. "I'll be fine, it's just a shirt."

"Let's go out and get clothes. We can do that thing too, where we switch styles. I think you'd look very good with your hair up." Jimin seemed happy, just, simply happy, to have someone around and talking to him. Jungkook felt special.

"You think?" Jungkook held the fridge door open as Jimin picked things out.

"Yeah! Your hair is down when I see it, but you could do so much with it. Don't you have like...cool hair?" Jimin laughed a little. "Can you put on some music please?"

Jungkook put on some music, having access to Jimin's speaker now. "By cool do you mean an undercut?"

"Yeah, I've always thought about getting one but...I don't know. I'm nervous to try new things."

"Well, thank god you've met me." Jungkook grinned, helping Jimin make something for dinner. "I try new things all the time! Let's do it."

"Where do you get it done?" Jimin smiled, a little intrigued.

"Uh...my bathroom?"

"You do it yourself?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"It's cheaper?" Jungkook smiled a little.

"You- you can easily pay for a haircut."

"But I need it like, every two weeks and that's just a lot of money overall, so yeah, I just do it myself." Jungkook laughed when he saw Jimin's bewildered face.

"You sure are something."

"Get an undercut! I'm thinking of dyeing my hair, do you wanna do that too? I want to try a lot more things!"

"Oh? Like what?" Jimin put their food on the stove, starting a timer. They sat at the table to wait.

"Well...maybe some more tattoos...maybe a couple more piercings. I'm not sure, but I definitely want to dye my hair. I might do a charity stream and then say that at a certain amount I'll dye my hair. You know? Have some fun with it."

"That's so cute!" Jimin smiled wide at him. "What do you usually do on a charity stream?"

"Usually answer questions, play some games, sometimes I get some other people with me. Oh! You and Taehyung should stream with me! All three of us can be a part of it. I haven't done a charity stream in a long time." Jungkook thought about it. "Absolutely. I think that's a great idea."

"What kind of games?" Jimin looked skeptical.

"Whatever's on hand! Board games, video games, all of the above. It's really just a time for us to have fun and entertain while asking for donations. We should do it."

"Maybe." Jimin laughed a little at Jungkook's excitement. "You'll have to find a time that Taehyung is free."

"I'll make it happen. Besides, if I'm paying for half his party than he must do a charity livestream with me."

"Oh?" Jimin looked at him with surprise. "You pay for half his party?"

"Oh, yeah. I co-fund it." Jungkook smiled at him. "Why, you thinking of coming to it?"

"Yeah I...actually was. This year might be different." Jimin looked down.

"Has something bad happened before?" Jungkook felt a little concerned. He didn't usually go to the party himself, he wasn't a huge fan, but he didn't want Jimin to have had bad memories.

"Yeah." He shrugged, almost like it was nothing. "I wonder why it's normal for people to wonder what's under my clothes...but...I don't hear the end of it. I wear modest clothes to parties as well and I just...the nerve of some people." He shook his head. "But I'm thinking of going this year."

"I'll go with you." Jungkook spoke quickly. "So you don't feel bad and can hang out with someone if you need to get away."

"Don't you usually go?"

"No, I don't like parties." Jungkook shook his head. "Not like that at least. I need attention, but I'm not a fan of getting hit on. Oh shit, we'd be dating though so maybe it'll be more fun!" He leaned closer to Jimin, smiling wide.

"Yeah, that's true." He smiled back at him. "We made vague posts online...are you sure about coming out to real people?"

"Jimin I'm happier now with that lifted off my shoulders. I'm sure." He nodded, smiling happily. "Alright! So, we do a charity stream, I shave your hair, we dye our hair, and then another day I'll get another piercing."

"I kinda want some too." Jimin looked shy to share his wants, Jungkook immediately nodding.

"Let's do it."

"You certainly are willing to try new things."

"Of course! How else are you supposed to find yourself? I want to know what I like and what I don't like and if that takes some money to find out then I'll do it." Jungkook got up when the timer went off, serving the both of them.

"You're really ahead of the game Jungkook." Jimin looked at the food Jungkook had brought to the table. "I'm jealous of your ability to move forward."

"It takes knowing yourself, and that's hard. I just wanted to be someone that I needed. Someone a younger me would've looked up to. And...that's what I'm doing." Jungkook watched Jimin slowly smile.

"You're really admirable...for a kid."

"Hey, come on." Jungkook laughed. "I'm only two years younger than you, I'm allowed to have wisdom."

"Where's my wisdom though? I'm older and I haven't figured anything out." Jimin poked at the food, Jungkook watching him eat here and there. He wanted to feed him so badly.

"I've learned from you." Jungkook wanted to erase all of Jimin's bad feelings.

"What could you have learned from me?" Jimin laughed in disbelief. "I haven't taught you anything."

"You've taught me to be patient." Jungkook nodded earnestly. "You've taught me to find others comforts instead of reverting to my own. I didn't realize that not everyone is okay with hugs or something like that."

"Well, I'm sorry that I've made you more cautious." Jimin looked a little sad.

"No, it's more like you made me more conscious. Not cautious, just, more aware. And that's always a good thing, I think." Jungkook smiled, wanting to ease Jimin's mood. His confidence seemed to waver at the small chance of conflict.

"Thanks." Jimin looked at him knowingly, Jungkook feeling a twinge of tightness in his chest. Jimin looked so cute when he was honest.

"Of course Jimin." Jungkook laughed a little. He wondered why he got butterflies is his stomach. "That was a really good meal, thank you once again."

"Of course. I love feeding people."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. It's a way for me to care for someone."

Jungkook blushed a little. He liked being taken care of. "Well...thank you."

Jungkook spent the night, the two of them talking for most of it until he slept in the guest room.

He...felt a little strange, to be honest with himself. Jimin was really nice to be around, making his days better and himself happier. If he wasn't mistaken, it looked like Jimin was happier too. He liked being his friend.

So why did he feel butterflies?

____

Jungkook had spent a lot more time at Jimin's house. Whenever he was free, actually. Jimin figured out his schedule extremely quickly and called Jungkook over whenever he had time to take a breather. And it was nice to have company. He learned new meals and he sneakily learned how to get Jimin to eat new foods. All he had to do was bring them beforehand; Jimin couldn't resist a gift.

But today, they made a video together. They went out to get clothes to style each other in their personal styles. Jungkook had to admit that Jimin looked really fucking good in black.

He was blushing when Jimin came on camera. "So...how do I look?" Jimin smiled, posing for the camera. He was wearing a black turtleneck, black pants with some rips, with some jewelry that Jungkook had picked. He wore some earrings with small knives on the end, rings and a chain choker. What Jungkook was really looking forward to was the fake lip ring he'd gotten Jimin just for this.

"Oh wow." Jungkook couldn't look away. The butterflies in his stomach fluttered. "Oh wow! You look amazing! You really can wear whatever you want and look good, I'm so jealous!" Jungkook laughed. "I really like it! I know you aren't used to no makeup, but you could totally add eyeshadow and perfect it to make it look like you. Oh my god."

"Really?" Jimin smiled at him.

"I'm dead serious. You look so fuck- uh, really good." Jungkook blushed more as Jimin giggled.

"It's definitely different than what I wear, but I think it looks nice!" Jimin looked at himself in the mirror they staged for this. "I look good."

Jungkook nodded, looking him up and down. "Absolutely. Wow, you look good." Jungkook covered his mouth. "Really, wow."

"Oh you're just being kind." Jimin laughed.

"No no! I mean it! Really, you look really good."

"Well I can't wait for you to try on your outfit, so get into it!" Jimin smiled happily. "And then we can customize and make the outfits more us. I think I'd look good with a smoky eye for this look..." Jimin mumbled to himself as he looked in the mirror. "Maybe some sharp eyeliner..."

Jungkook smiled and went to change.

Jimin had given him a much lighter outfit. It was a soft blue sweater and jeans, though Jimin was going to put makeup on him to make him "pretty." At least, that's what Jimin promised him, how he would actually look like was up to fate. A little bit of accessories: some rings and a small, dainty necklace with a heart, along with some dangly earrings, and Jungkook headed out to Jimin.

"Ah! So cute!" He immediately smiled. "Ready to try on a more Jimin look?"

Jungkook couldn't help but smile back. "Of course. You have to Jimin-ify both the looks, no?" He sat down, seeing the many different products Jimin had in front of him. "Do you need all of this?"

Jimin laughed. "You have no idea how much goes into makeup. If you want, you can close your eyes."

"Mm." Jungkook closed his eyes, feeling different things on his face now. He had no idea what they were. "You do this every day?"

"Mhm. I find it relaxing at this point. Less like my job and more like...what's something new I can do? What other colors go best together? What can I pull off?" Jimin hummed as he worked. "I like testing myself."

"I'm glad you enjoy what you do. That's all the really matters."

"Yeah. It really is." Jungkook wished he could see Jimin up close. He wondered how he looked while he did someone else's makeup...he probably looked cute and serious. He probably had a pout, like he did when he was concentrating. Jungkook had been watching more of Jimin's old videos, watching whatever came out as well, and he'd noticed some of his little knacks.

He wondered if Jimin had watched any of his compilations. Or any of his videos to be honest. He didn't really know if he did, but they were at least learning about each other. Yeah, that was nice.

But why did he get butterflies? Maybe Jimin was just charming. Jungkook was interested in men, of course a charming guy would give him butterflies, but that didn't mean anything special.

He felt a small twinge of sadness.

He wanted to be special to Jimin. He liked being one of the only people Jimin had trusted inside his house, even staying overnight.

That was special, right? It must be, Jimin didn't hang out with that many people. That made him feel a little better but...the butterflies were still there.

"And done." Jimin bursted his thoughts.

"Wow, already? That didn't seem long." Jungkook opened his eyes.

"I'm a professional." Jimin blinked a couple times, Jungkook watching his face turn a little red. "Um- take a look in the mirror."

"Why, do I look bad?" Jungkook teased, before checking their mirror. "Oh." Instead, Jungkook was greeted with a softer version of himself. The blush made him look younger, while the contour kept his masculine features sharp, while the eyeshadow made his look soft and the eyeliner made it bold. "Oh."

It was balanced. Jungkook felt pretty.

"Do you like it?" Jimin smiled at him, smiling wider as Jungkook looked at him. "You definitely do!"

"I..." Jungkook glanced at the camera. "I feel unreal."

"That's you alright. I just brought out your features. You have a strong jawline, and a cute nose so I just...well, it's like movie magic all on its own. Though, it's more real since it's your face. You're handsome, really handsome." Jimin proudly watched Jungkook.

Jungkook felt pretty. He understood why Jimin did this every day, he understood what he meant by how it was like magic. "I'm- sorry, I'm a loss of words. This is how you feel every day? No wonder you feel beautiful every day."

Jimin blushed a little. "Let me put on some eyeliner and then we can show off the looks. Show off your look solo first! And...I'm glad you like it." He smiled earnestly, Jungkook nodding immediately.

"You're really good at what you do. I feel pretty." Jungkook whispered, looking at Jimin with wide eyes.

"Perfect." Jimin grinned, proud once again. "You deserve to feel pretty, because you are pretty." Jimin started to put eyeliner on. "Your tattoos are pretty, you've got pretty earrings, your style is nice. Your eyes though...that's the prettiest thing about you."

Jungkook blushed. Jimin hadn't really complimented him so forwardly before. "R-really?"

"Mhm. They're beautiful. Like their own little galaxies." Jimin smiled.

Jungkook blushed more at how casually Jimin stated it. He liked that a lot, he really liked how easily Jimin complimented him. "T-thank you..."

Jimin glanced at him, smiling softly. "I mean it. You look lovely. I can't wait to show you off."

Jungkook laughed a little, still embarrassed. "S-show me off?"

"Mhm. People still don't quite believe we're dating you know. Taehyung's checking in on me weekly, and we were vague when we posted pictures of our dinner together." Jimin smiled at him. "But even if it's fake...this is a nice way to show you off. Soft colors with a sleeve of tattoos? You'll make everyone swoon for you." He laughed, obviously happy and obviously teasing Jungkook, but by god...

Jungkook couldn't handle it. He'd only seen Jimin be sort of serious and rude towards him, but now...now he looked...beautiful.

He was beautiful.

Oh god.

Oh no.

Jungkook looked away, his blush still evident. "W-well I can't say I disagree. I think the combination is very nice."

"And...you think people will fall for you?" Jimin teased him more, finishing his eyeliner.

"Will you?" Jungkook teased him back, watching Jimin blush as well.

"Perhaps. To the world I will, no? I've already fallen for you in their eyes." He smiled easily, but Jungkook's chest hurt a little.

Why did it hurt? Why was his chest tight?

"But what about you, hm?" Jungkook laughed a little, but he felt bad. Why did he want Jimin to like him? God no. No no, he didn't want this.

"Oh, me?" Jimin guided Jungkook to the camera again, ready for them to pose and show off their outfits together. "I don't know. I haven't thought about you in that way. I could swoon but...well, you're like a younger brother." Jimin laughed. "You've been a good friend to me."

Jungkook smiled and nodded.

God it hurt. Why did it hurt?

"Ready?" Jimin kept his smile, Jungkook nodding again.

"Yeah."

"Perfect."

They posed for the camera, showing off their outfits together after Jungkook showed off his own.

It was odd. Their affection was fake, but it wasn't, but it ultimately was. Jungkook really enjoyed being around Jimin, really liked hearing him talk and sing and yell and be and look happy. Jimin looked happy around him.

And Jungkook was afraid he was actually falling for him.

____

Jungkook sat in his car, holding the steering wheel tightly. He didn't know what to do. He felt bad, he felt weird, he wasn't supposed to catch feelings. He was supposed to make a friend! Give Taehyung some grief for setting them up on a stupid little date that was supposed to go nowhere.

It went nowhere for Jimin. Jimin just wanted a friend, of course he did, why would he want more from Jungkook?

He sighed heavily, hitting the steering wheel with his fist. "Fuck me. Fuck."

A knock on his window made him jump, Jungkook unlocking the car.

"Hey." Jimin got in the passenger seat, smiling at Jungkook. "You okay?" He switched to concern, Jungkook shaking off the sadness on his face.

"Yeah! Yeah I'm fine. You ready to go?"

"Mhm!" Jimin gave him one more concerned look before they both ignored it.

Jungkook drove them to Namjoon's house, his chest tight.

"Hey...if you're worried, we'll be alright. We're easily friends, and relationships aren't too much different from that. Especially since it's me...you know, less touchy." Jimin patted his thigh, Jungkook blushing a little bit.

Fuck, fuck, he had to put his walls up again. "I'm...only a little nervous. But we all know each other so I'm...sure it'll be fine." Jungkook kept his eyes on the road. "I'm sure it'll be fine."

"Of course it'll be fine! I told you...it's just acting."

"Well...we don't have to pretend to be friends. Right?" Jungkook felt some doubt seep into his mind. They were friends right? That wasn't an act?

"Of course!" Jimin tsk'd. "Is that what was on your mind? Jungkookie, seriously, I like hanging out with you. You're quickly become a good friend, okay?"

Jungkook nodded, but he wasn't going to forget what Jimin had said before. We just don't mesh. He sighed a little. "Yeah. I know, I'm just...I dunno. It's nothing, really."

"...are you okay Jungkook?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah. I'm good."

"Okay..." Jimin didn't sound convinced, but Jungkook didn't know how to convince him.

"How did your modeling go today?" Jungkook changed the subject.

"It went well, but I'm so hungry." Jimin laughed a little. "If I'd known it was going to go so long I would've brought a snack."

"They don't have food there?"

"They do but...I'm not a fan. I'll just make food with Seokjin hyung when we get there."

"Jimin-ssi, you should really eat more based on how much you exercise..." Jungkook glanced at him, concerned at how thin he was once again.

"I'm even now, I don't have to be in a deficit. I don't have that many more modeling appointments since I'm only big during June. Afterwards I'm just a normal model, but for June, I'm their queer representative! You know...use it as a way to get money." Jimin smiled, then sighed. "I wish I was a representative for more than just pride month. You know? There's more to me than me being queer. I have a lot of talent!"

"...what about finding another company? I'm sure there's other options that would actually see your talent and want to flaunt you how you want to be seen." Jungkook spoke quietly. He didn't know how Jimin would feel talking about his sponsorship.

"I...haven't looked into any other company looking for me. It's hard to be wanted when I'm openly out." He spoke just as quietly, looking at his lap. Jungkook wanted to make him feel better.

"Then if you ever feel up for it I'll help you look."

"Jungkook you take way too much time out of your busy schedule to be with me. Seriously, you need some time for yourself." Jimin laughed a little. "Do you spend enough time on yourself?"

Jungkook wished his concern was for a different reason. "I do. I just like being around you." How could he say it? How did it become like this?

When exactly did Jungkook want Jimin to look at him differently? When did it start?

"If you say so. But seriously, if you ever need time alone just say it, I know I call you over all the time." Jimin hummed. "Tell me if that's ever too much."

"It's not. I like being at your house, it's nicer."

They arrived, Jimin excited to make food, Jungkook nervous. He wanted this to be easy, but he knew it wouldn't.

It was the first time all seven of them were hanging out after the announcement that the two were "dating" and Jungkook felt nervous about the two of them lying.

Jungkook spaced out watching Jimin make food with Seokjin, while Namjoon and himself sat at the table they made. They were earlier than the rest.

"So...you two are really trying it?" Namjoon spoke to him, Jungkook still watching Jimin cook happily. "Jungkook?"

"Hm? Oh- what?" He pulled his eyes away to meet Namjoon's gaze. "Hm?"

Namjoon smiled softly at him. "Are you two really dating?"

Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, really. We said we'd try it out and..." and now I'm serious about him and he still thinks it's a joke. "And so far it's worked out."

"You look a bit out of it. You okay?" Namjoon picked up Jungkook's attitude easily, like he had for years.

"Yeah I'm just...um..." Jungkook looked down. "I haven't been in a relationship before. So I'm scared of not knowing what to expect and I'm scared to push boundaries on accident. You know me, I'm caring, but I'm a lot." Jungkook shook his head, looking at Jimin again. "I'm scared he won't like me as much as I like him."

"Jungkook...relationships take time. And because it's your first one, and because it's Jimin, it's okay to go slow. I think you'd both do well to take it slow." He put a hand over Jungkook's.

"I still don't think...he'll ever be comfortable around me in the way he's comfortable around you all. I'm...so cautious. I can't just...touch him. He's untouchable, I can't- he..." Jungkook felt his chest tighten again, his realizations settling in.

He wanted to hug him. He wanted to hold him. He wanted to sleep next to him, have his small hands on his chest while they cuddled. He wanted Jimin close to him, he wanted to run his hands through his hair, to hold his hand. He just wanted to touch him.

Namjoon took Jungkook's hand and made them get up. "We're going to get some more drinks from the pantry!"

"Okay love!" Seokjin gave them barely a glance as Namjoon led them out of the kitchen.

Jungkook didn't even realize that he was crying. Namjoon immediately pulled him into a hug. "Hey hey hey, it's okay, don't worry."

Jungkook grabbed onto him, tightly embracing him. God he needed the contact. "I- I-"

"Shh shh shh, it's okay." He rubbed Jungkook's back, rocking them side to side a little. "Every relationship has its different obstacles. It seems like you need to have a little chat with Jimin about what you both need. It's okay to ask for some contact, even from Jimin. I know he seems unreachable, but he's not. You have his trust."

"B-but I- I can't touch him. He doesn't like i-it and I'm not going to m-make him." Jungkook hiccuped, sniffing. He wanted to tell Namjoon so badly, but he knew out of them all that Namjoon would slip up.

"This is obviously something you have a lot of feelings about, so it's okay to talk to him about it. Even if it turns into a confrontation, it's better to talk about what's bothering you than to let yourself cry to yourself. Okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook started to feel better. Namjoon always took care of him. "Okay hyung, you're the best." He smiled a little, but held on tight to the hug.

Namjoon eventually helped him look presentable again, before they brought in more drinks.

The other three had arrived while they were out there, Jungkook getting more hugs that he desperately needed. Hoseok's was the best, as he clung to him and Hoseok didn't let go until it was time to eat.

"So you two really just...said okay? Even after all the harsh words said?" Seokjin still couldn't wrap his brain around it. "If anyone said rude things to me I'd put them in their place. Especially on a a date."

"Well, we said why we didn't like each other, and then I realized we could fix that. It was stupid issues and it could be fixed and we could at least be friends. So...we said hey, we could try dating, get to know each other, and yeah. Really, it's been nice." Jimin smiled as he spoke, but Jungkook still felt his heart beating in his tight chest. He still felt bad.

"I'm honestly impressed with you Jungkook. I didn't think you were ever going to date." Hoseok teased him. "But I'm kind of glad it's Jimin."

"I'm just happy this group finally came together. You've both had us as your mutual friends, it was about time you came together too." Yoongi smiled softly. "I think seven is a good number."

"It's much more convenient too!" Taehyung smiled. "Now I can easily invite you all to my party without having to say who's coming. You all are coming, right?" He looked around the table, everyone nodding and laughing.

"You think we'd miss it?" Hoseok laughed. "Of course we're coming! It's always fun, are you trying anything different this time?"

"I'm not really sure yet, but we're getting different food, and live music this time. Plus we're renting out a different place cause last time there wasn't enough room." Taehyung glanced at Jungkook.

"...it's my dads warehouse. It's been renovated to be an open house basically. You know, like a loft house but the entire warehouse." Jungkook spoke shyly, sort of hating that he came from a family with money. Of course he'd earned his place, but he had had a head start.

"That's so cool!" Seokjin smiled at him, knowing how Jungkook felt about that. "You think it'll be big enough for everything?"

"Yeah, we're setting up a nice stage for the band right now and you know, budgeting." Taehyung shook his head. "It should be fun."

"I hope so." Jimin gave Jungkook an excited smile. "I haven't been in a couple years."

"Me neither." Jungkook smiled back at him. "Why're you going this year?"

"Cause you're going. I think I'll feel better knowing you're there." His eyes looked away for a moment, almost lost in a memory.

Jungkook didn't push the subject. Something must've happened at a previous party Jimin had gone to.

"Well I can't wait." Namjoon finished his food. "I always enjoy the talk."

"You're dancing with me this time Joonie." Seokjin huffed. "Last year you didn't stop to dance with me."

"Oh Jungkook, I meant to ask, but why haven't you gone to one of your own parties in so long?" Yoongi gave Jungkook a patient smile. He seemed to just be happy to be here.

"Oh um..." Jungkook tried to form the words, sighing a little. "I really don't like getting hit on. And I don't like when people ask me weird questions."

"Ah." Seokjin nodded. He was one of the only people Jungkook had told about how he feels about his money and parents. "So people don't try to get to know you."

"Yeah." Jungkook nodded. "I dunno, parties aren't my thing and neither is dancing in a crowd. Plus- well, I don't want to ruin everyone's fun. So I'll just be careful this time."

"Why're you going if you hate it?" Hoseok pouted a little. "I wouldn't want you to go if you don't like going."

"Well...I promised Jimin I'd go." Jungkook blushed and looked down at his empty plate.

"Ah. I see." Hoseok smiled at him. "Designated driver?"

"That as well."

"As well?"

"Yeah, I just don't want Jimin to um, well I want to be there for him." Jungkook nodded a little. Yeah. That was all. Jungkook totally didn't want to watch him dance and be happy and have fun outside of the house. Fuck, fuck fuck he sounded like a fucking loser in his own head. He blushed in shame. Jimin only wanted to be friends. "He told me he wanted to have someone there for him in case he wants to have someone to be around."

"Jungkook said he'd be there if anything bad happened." Jimin said it clearer, Jungkook nodding.

The rest nodded. "I'll kick them out, I promise, if anyone picks on you they're out." Taehyung huffed. "I promise."

"I know, I know. I trust you all."

Jungkook sort of spaced out the rest of the night, before they started to drink. Jungkook laid off the alcohol, knowing he was driving Jimin home tonight. Namjoon kept watch over him, while Jungkook clung to Hoseok for most of the night. He needed that touch, he needed that contact, and Hoseok was always kind enough to let him soak in what he needed.

His scent was nice, Jungkook hugging him while everyone drank. He just couldn't get Jimin out of his mind, and he felt shitty about it. He must've slept for a while, since Hoseok gently woke him up.

"Hey...Jimin's ready to head home, we're all leaving Jungkook." He spoke softly, Jungkook waking up.

"Hm? Oh shit, sorry I fell asleep."

"Have you not been sleeping well?" Jungkook stopped hugging him, sitting up to rub his eyes.

"I've been sleeping fine hyung." Jungkook spoke quietly, clearing his throat. "Just haven't been sleeping enough."

"Why not?" Jungkook took a look around, seeing everyone had left except Jimin in the dining room with Seokjin. Hoseok still chose to speak quietly. "Jungkook...are you two happy together?"

Jungkook looked at him, wanting desperately to tell him, to tell someone. If anyone...he could tell Hoseok. "I'm happier than I've ever been."

He couldn't do it. He couldn't explain the prank and how he was starting to actually feel.

"You seem tired today. And I don't mean from lack of sleep." Hoseok looked concerned.

He had every right to be. Jungkook sighed. "Sorry, I've just got some shit on my mind. That's all."

"Hey. I'm always going to listen, okay? If you need to say shit say it to me. I'm all ears." Hoseok put a hand on his shoulder. "Okay?"

"Okay. I'm just...I'm just feeling a little weird is all. I just have to talk to Jimin, that's all, really." Jungkook tried to make Hoseok worry less. He couldn't explain it.

This wasn't supposed to happen.

Hoseok didn't like that answer, but he didn't push it. "Fine. Call me later, okay?"

"Okay." Jungkook smiled and got up. "Thanks for letting me be a leach tonight."

"Of course." Hoseok got up too. "Goodnight Jungkook."

"Goodnight Hoseok hyung." Jungkook went over to Seokjin and Jimin, stretching a little bit.

"Hey sleepyhead. Ready to go home?" Jimin smiled at him softly.

"Yeah, let me drink some water, I gotta wake up a little before I drive." Jungkook went to the kitchen, getting himself a glass of water. It seemed that everyone had sort of...talked about things. Jungkook didn't know what he missed while he was asleep.

"You got a good rest?" Seokjin stood up, going over to Jungkook.

"Mhm." Jungkook cleaned the glass, drying it and putting it away. "Thanks for dinner hyung, it was delicious."

"Of course." Seokjin gave him a hug, Jungkook snuggling into it. He really missed the contact. "Drive safely."

"Thanks. Goodnight. Tell Namjoon hyung I said goodnight too, he went upstairs before I could say so."

"Sure."

Jungkook and Jimin left, Jungkook tired but rejuvenated at the same time. He always appreciated the contact from everyone.

Jungkook sighed as he drove to Jimin's house. Something was off. "If you have something to say, say it Jimin. You always tell me your concerns, don't stop now."

Jungkook was glad he car was dark. He was glad they couldn't see each other. He was glad that Jimin couldn't see his hurt. He was glad he couldn't see Jimin crying.

"I'm...really sorry Jungkook, I'm so sorry." He sniffled quietly. Not quite full on crying, but still enough to get his nose running. "I'm sorry I made you feel bad, I'm sorry you've been so cautious around me, I'm really sorry."

"Jimin..." Jungkook sighed. He knew everyone had talked about something while he was asleep. "It's fine. You didn't do anything."

"Exactly! I didn't do anything! You've been so caring towards me and I haven't been considerate at all. I've been selfish and- and I'm sorry. I didn't know...I didn't even realize." He kept sniffing, Jungkook feeling bad himself. He wanted to comfort Jimin.

"That's not your fault." Jungkook tried to make it all better. He just wanted to make Jimin smile. "I didn't say anything because I'm not going to push you to do things you aren't comfortable with." He wanted to comfort Jimin.

"...but I've been selfish. I didn't realize that I was making you feel bad and I apologize."

Jungkook shook his head. "It's fine Jimin. Really, please don't worry about it."

"W-we can see what's comfortable at home, okay?"

"I'm dropping you off and then leaving aren't I?"

"Stay the night." Jimin cleared his throat. "Please."

"...okay. What do you mean by see what's comfortable?" Jungkook felt a little embarrassed and a little shame. He wanted Jimin close.

"I'm not uncomfortable with you Jungkook. I- people know that I say I'm uncomfortable with touch but that's because I hate when random people think they can hug me or touch me. I wanted that barrier of my personal space. But that doesn't abide to friends. So...we can see what works best. Hugs, holding my hand, whatever it is you need."

"But- but are you okay with it?" Jungkook really wanted to hug him. "I'm not going to make you do it for me."

"I am okay with it. I told you. Friends are welcome." Jimin sniffed again. "S-so I want to be a better friend, since I haven't been."

"You have been a good friend." Jungkook's chest was tight.

"Then why would you cry in the pantry?" Jimin spoke quietly. "Seokjin hyung and I both heard it but...we didn't want to make you uncomfortable."

"So Namjoon hyung talked to you?" Jungkook sighed. He knew he couldn't tell Namjoon. Maybe Hoseok.

"Yeah. I understand why he felt the need to because an unhappy Jungkook is painful to see. And I hate that I'm seeing him right now and it's my fault."

"Hey, it's no ones fault but my own." Jungkook mumbled. "I shouldn't have gotten so comfortable."

"What?"

"Nothing." Jungkook got to Jimin's house, both of them going inside.

"Let's take showers first then um...you can come to my room?" Jimin spoke softly, touching Jungkook's arm once he saw Jungkook's reluctance. "Hey. I won't push anything either."

"I- okay. Okay, I'll- I'll come over after my shower." Jungkook nodded.

They went to their rooms, Jungkook pretty much having the guest room as his own at this point.

He couldn't even have a relaxing shower as his thoughts ran rampant. He just wanted this to be a friendship. He really did, he really wanted this to be only a friendship. So why? Why was his heart buzzing in his chest like a fucking hornets nest whenever he was around Jimin? Why did he feel like changing himself just to make him happy, why did he want to be around him so much? What was it?

What exactly was it about Jimin that he seemed to like so much? Was it just comfortable? Was it the fact that he didn't feel lonely anymore? What was it?

He went over to Jimin's room.

"Hey." Jimin smiled a little, patting the bed.

"Hi." Jungkook rubbed his arm nervously, not moving closer. "I can go home you know."

"Come on, sit." Jimin patted the bed again.

"Are you sure?" Jungkook still felt awkward.

"Jungkook." Jimin smiled softly. "I want to listen to your concerns."

"It's fine. Really, I-" Jungkook laughed in shame. He felt bad. "I can head home." Jungkook whispered, holding himself close.

"Come here Jungkook." Jimin patted the bed again. "Come, come on."

Jungkook sighed. Jimin wasn't budging, so he sat on the corner of Jimin's bed. Jimin leaned forward and grabbed Jungkook's wrist, pulling him closer. "Jimin- Jimin please-"

"Tell me what's wrong. Tell me what you need." Jungkook stumbled onto the bed, crawling awkwardly as Jimin pulled him closer. He pulled him into his chest, holding the back of Jungkook's head. "Please, let me listen to your problems like you listen to mine."

Jungkook sighed heavily. "...it's really nothing Jimin..."

"Please Jungkook."

Jungkook sighed again. "Sorry. I don't want to make you feel bad. But...I'm a little um...I feel deprived of affection." He tried to say it lightly. He didn't want Jimin to cry again.

"How can I help?"

"Well...this is nice. This helps." Jungkook spoke quietly. "But I don't want to make you feel bad if you're not able to give me affection."

"Jungkook, I'm okay with a lot of affection. I just had to get comfortable first, and now I am. I'm sorry I didn't think about what you needed sooner." Jimin pet Jungkook's hair. "But I'll start to be better, okay? I want to be a better friend to you."

"You already are a good friend."

"Better." Jimin mumbled. "Fuck, let's get under the blanket."

"I can go back to my room..." Jungkook kept speaking quietly. He didn't want to take advantage of this.

"Tonight's special. I'll give you tonight."

"Don't let me push your limits."

"Jungkook fucking stop that, stop making yourself feel bad. I'm inviting you, you're not pushing my limits. Pull the blankets over us." Jimin moved them a little, Jungkook hugging his waist, his head still on Jimin's chest.

Jungkook pulled the blankets over them. He could hear Jimin's heartbeat; it was calming and Jungkook slowly felt his chest loosen up. He felt like he could breathe again.

"Good." Jimin whispered to him, rubbing his back. "Good, good, let's relax Jungkook. You deserve a good nights rest."

"So do you." Jungkook mumbled. He was tired from his heavy heart today.

"Then sleep." Jimin hummed. "Sleep well."

Jungkook drifted off, feeling bad but happy at the same time.

Jimin worried for Jungkook after that. He was there for when Jimin got his first cat at least, though he could tell he was removed. They were sitting in the living room, letting the new cat Mochi get used to the new area.

Jimin watched Jungkook watch the cat.

"...hey." Jimin spoke softly.

"Mm?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow for a second, his eyes not leaving Mochi.

"You good?" Jimin watched Jungkook pull his eyes toward him.

"Yeah, why? I'm just chilling, this is earlier than I'm used to." Jungkook smiled at him. "Plus I gotta get home by noon, I've still got a stream today."

"Right." Jimin nodded. That made sense. There was hopefully not a different reason why Jungkook was so out of it today. "Hey, when are you going to do that charity stream?"

Jimin wanted Jungkook to smile for real. He could tell his smile at the moment was strained. "You thinking of joining?" Jungkook held his hand out as the cat came back over to them. He played with it, letting her hit his hand occasionally.

"I am. If Taehyung's there too, well, I'm sure we'll have fun." Jimin watched Jungkook play with his new cat, happy that he wasn't alone in the house. "And I kinda want to dye my hair again."

"What color this time?"

"I think I'll go back to black. It's been a long time since I haven't been blond." Jimin ran a hand through his hair before laying on his stomach, reaching his hand out for Mochi. She batted his hand playfully, Jimin smiling. "She's cute."

"Fits the owner."

Jimin laughed. "Sure." He kind of found it endearing how Jungkook would compliment him. "Just wait till there's more cute pets than cute owners."

"Oh?"

Jimin smiled. "Well, you're practically a co-owner, no? If I get three cats then we'll be outnumbered." If Jungkook could compliment him, he could compliment him back.

"Oh, what a crime. You'll have to invite Taehyung, then we'll be even. Though I think you're worth at least two cute cats." Jungkook pet Mochi. "If not more."

Jimin blushed a little. "You think I'm cute?"

"You're everything." Jungkook smiled at him.

Jimin moved closer, laying his head on Jungkook's thigh. Mochi went to lay with them. "You're too sweet. You know that? You were raised too sweet of a boy."

"Thank you! My mother would be proud if she heard those words. I've always just been a hassle in school, that's all that was said about me."

"How come?" Jimin looked up at him, letting Mochi rest against them. He'd always loved school.

"I skipped most days and the other days I failed tests." Jungkook looked embarrassed. "I wasn't good at school."

"Really? I loved school." Jimin felt the weight of a cat laying on his chest. He smiled at the feeling. "I loved learning."

"Oh I love learning, but I don't like school." Jungkook brushed Jimin's hair out of his eyes. "I don't like how it is."

"Ah, I think I was made for it." Jimin smiled. "I liked being good at things."

"You are good at things." Jungkook smiled back at him. "Every day you go out of your way to be good at things."

"I guess you aren't wrong. I should learn more." Jimin thought about it. "I should find more makeup classes and learn more techniques."

"Don't stress your body too much."

"I'll be a good cat dad, don't worry. Would you mind watching over her sometimes?"

"I wouldn't mind. If I'm not out with you I'm at home."

"Cat sitter then." Jimin giggled. "How cute."

"I don't mind helping out."

"Thank you. I'll do my best to be home for a while though, so she can get used to all of this. I gotta take her to the vet as well, make sure she's all good and everything." Jimin relaxed even more as Jungkook played with his hair a little.

"You're already loving her more than she was loved before. Okay? So don't worry about being a good cat dad, you already are." Jungkook reassured him. "Who's gunna watch over her for the party?"

"It's at night time so I'm sure she'll be fine on her own. We'll see just how energetic she is at night time." Jimin smiled, looking up at Jungkook.

Jungkook looked away. "That makes sense. You still want me to drive you there?"

"Yeah, I want you to spend the night afterwards. You know, just in case."

"Ah, alright. What're you going to wear?" Jungkook looked at Mochi. "She's really cute..."

"I love calico cats. They're as pretty as they can get I think. I'm not sure what I'll wear. I'll still be covering up, if that's what you're wondering."

"Aw, no glance at a tattoo of yours?"

"Nope. I don't like all the attention I get from people who try to uh...well, touch me."

"Ah." Jungkook nodded solemnly. "Well, I'll probably be wearing a short sleeved shirt, sorry."

Jimin laughed. "It's fine, people are going to be wearing a lot less there. It's a party, so don't worry." Jimin could guess the emotions passing through Jungkook's face. "Don't worry, I'll take care of myself, okay? If I ever get overwhelmed I'll go to you." He reached up and brushed Jungkook's cheek. "Okay?"

Jungkook blushed a little. "Okay. I haven't gone in so long I'm not sure where I'll be. I know there will be pool tables so maybe there." Jungkook thought for a moment. "Maybe just at the bar, I'm- I'm horrible at parties." He laughed a little. "I don't like dancing with people and I don't like talking to people."

"What about me?"

"That's different. I'll dance and talk to friends."

"Oh good. Then will you dance with me?" Jimin smiled at him.

"Maybe. I'm not huge on dancing around a crowd. Maybe Taehyung will dance with you."

Jimin pouted. "You're no fun. Not even one dance?"

"I said maybe."

"Aw." Jimin smiled at him. "Maybe I'll get one then."

"Maybe you will."

____

Jungkook felt anxious as he waited in his car for Jimin to come out of his house. His leg would not stop bouncing and his hands were tight on the steering wheel. He hadn't gone to a party in a long time, and he didn't know what Jimin's was going to be wearing and he didn't know if he was wearing something too revealing and-

And he was worrying too much.

He should try to have fun, that was the goal tonight. He watched Jimin leave the house, and goddamn it of course he looked fucking amazing.

"Hey." Jimin got in the car, smiling wide. "Oh wow, showing off the forearms tonight?" He laughed a little as Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Gotta look better than usual."

"You took my advice with doing your hair up!" Jimin clapped his hands together, showing his happiness.

"Y-yeah, I thought it would look good." Jungkook blushed more, embarrassed to be embarrassed. He just liked how cute Jimin looked when he was happy. "You look too good." Jungkook mumbled, knowing Jimin wouldn't hear it.

They made their way to the party, Jimin talking to him for most of the ride.

Jungkook still felt nervous as they arrived. He knew Jimin was going to look especially good in there, but he kind of didn't want anyone else to see how beautiful he was. Though, it seemed that only Jungkook could tell the difference between Jimin's normal day clothes and tonight; where Jimin would usually wear casual clothes like sweaters and sweats, tonight he wore a skintight blue turtleneck that tucked into black jeans, with of course, accessories.

Jungkook couldn't seem to keep his eyes off as they got out of the car until Jimin blushed and cleared his throat. "That's um- that's a lot of skin Jungkook."

"A-ah, yeah. It's uh...well, it's what I wear out I guess. For such events."

Jimin opened his mouth then closed it.

Jungkook couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing, as the both of them went inside. He was immediately greeted by the bouncer, shaking his head as they were granted access inside, Jungkook hearing the live music.

Jungkook scanned the room for somewhere he could relax and be relatively less talkative. Jimin tugged on his shirt a little, guiding him somewhere. "You good?"

"Yeah, let's say hi to Taehyung and then get a drink."

"Just one drink for me, I'm driving us home." Jungkook smiled at him, walking towards Taehyung.

Taehyung was talking with people, probably greeting them to the party. Jimin didn't seem to care as he went right up to him. "Jimin! Jungkook, oh good I'm glad you made it."

"Oh wow, Jimin? I haven't seen you here in a while!" One of the people Taehyung was talking to spoke to Jimin, Jungkook feeling like hiding in a corner. "How've you been?"

"Good! I haven't seen you in too long, we should totally hang out-"

Jungkook spaced out, looking at Taehyung.

"You good?" Taehyung put his hand on his shoulder. "You look good tonight."

"Thanks, so do you. I'm alright just uh...not used to this. I've been in my house for too long, and well, I've gotten used to being around only Jimin. I'm so out of practice." Jungkook laughed a little.

"I'll try and invite you out more then." Taehyung squeezed his shoulder.

"Maybe, I'm not sure..." Jungkook looked at Jimin, the two of them making eye contact. He wanted to tell someone. "Hyung, I-"

"Jungkookie, will you get a drink with me?" Jimin cut Jungkook off, grabbing his arm.

"Sure." Jungkook gave Taehyung a smile before leaving with Jimin.

"Fucking hate those girls, they're rude." Jimin mumbled as they left, Jungkook laughing.

"You hate people?"

"Well, dislike. They were always mean to me until I had more subscribers than them. Now they always want to collab for more views."

"Ah, I don't encounter people like that. I stream with basically the same people, but sometimes new people." Jungkook couldn't understand people being rude to Jimin.

"Yeah, it's odd, isn't it? Anyways, you're not going to drink?"

"No, not tonight...I'd rather drink at home. So just one here." Jungkook shrugged, waiting for Jimin to get a drink. "You go on ahead though, I'll be around. Okay?"

"You seriously just going to play pool all evening?" Jimin frowned a little.

"I...yeah." Jungkook shrugged. "I'm in over my head, I'm here for you."

Jimin shook his head with a smile. "Not even one dance with me?"

"Maybe." Jungkook smiled back. "But you go have fun, okay?"

"Pshhh, there's no need to act like a parent."

Jungkook felt a twinge of pain. "I'm just saying don't let me bring down your fun, okay? I'll be over there so you can have fun dancing." Jungkook thumbed to the side.

"...what if...I ask you to dance with me?" Jimin drank a little, chatting with Jungkook.

"I don't think I'm up for it tonight Jimin, I'm sorry." Jungkook apologized. He couldn't let Jimin understand. If he danced with him...he might just make it too obvious.

"What if...I make you dance with me?" Jimin moved a little closer to him.

"I might have to decline." Jungkook teased him, smiling a little. "Unless you really convince me."

Jimin smiled softly. "There's your smile."

Jungkook blushed, hating being known. "Ah." He tried to bounce back. "You still haven't convinced me."

"I'm hoping my invitation will be enough." Jimin smiled at him before setting his glass down and leaving Jungkook to dance.

Jungkook sighed, asking the bartender for one drink before heading over to play pool.

He saw Hoseok playing with a couple others, so he happily went over, taking a sip of his drink. He'd have one in the beginning of the night, that was all.

"Hey!" Hoseok happily hugged him. "Fuck you look good, who said you could unbutton your shirts now that you're not a baby?" He went to ruffle his hair before gasping. "And you did your hair? My my my, you are hanging out with Jimin too much, look at you." He teased him, Jungkook laughing.

"Mind if I join your game?"

"Perfect! Now we can play doubles."

Jungkook smiled at the familiarity, enjoying their time together. Hoseok was kind enough to be around him, watching over and checking on him constantly. Of course he was worried. Jungkook had been acting weird for a good month now, and he couldn't blame them.

They sat down after a couple games, Jungkook keeping an eye on Jimin from across the room. He'd gotten accustomed to finding Jimin in a crowd of people.

"You good?" Hoseok drank with Jungkook, the two of them mostly alone for the moment. "You were off your game Kookie."

"I had to warm up, that's all." Jungkook shrugged. "I haven't played in a couple years."

"You looked cool at least." Hoseok laughed. "You've got girls all over you."

Jungkook sighed. "I know. It's horrible, I hate it." He leaned back in his chair, looking at Hoseok. "Hey hyung...can...can I tell you a secret?" Jungkook didn't know how much longer he could keep it inside.

"What's up?" Hoseok turned his attention to Jungkook, though Jungkook kept watching Jimin.

"I...hyung." Jungkook sighed. "Me and Jimin aren't dating."

"What?" Hoseok seemed surprised. "Hold on, w- explain."

"We're joking. At least...that's what it was supposed to be like." Jungkook sighed again. "We wanted to get back at Taehyung, give him a taste of his own medicine, prank him back, fuck, whatever, but I..." Jungkook faltered, watching Jimin dance happily. "I'm not joking anymore."

"Oh." Hoseok's face showed his understanding. "Oh Jungkook I'm so sorry."

"I didn't mean to. I didn't try to- I- I just wanted to be his friend, really, I did." Jungkook hit his fist on his thigh. "I'm so fucking stupid."

"No no, Jungkook don't talk to yourself that way. You haven't done anything wrong." Hoseok scooted his chair closer to him, putting a hand on his knee. "You like someone, big deal! It happens to everyone. Don't feel bad about it."

"But hyung, I'll never- he will never say yes and mean it. We're friends. We're joking. And if I told him I'm not joking anymore...god, fucking damnit, I don't think we'd be friends anymore." Jungkook shook his head. "I don't want to lose him like that."

"You...I'm sorry, I don't know how to help. Seokjin hyung would probably know more than I do. I'm really sorry though. Thank you for telling me Jungkook, I'll keep it a secret, okay? I'll call you more often too, I'll take care of you."

"Thank you hyung." Jungkook put his hand over Hoseok's and smiled. "I really appreciate it." He looked back at Jimin, feeling his chest tighten but feel a little lighter at telling someone. His smile faded once he saw Jimin uncomfortably push someone away after they touched his ass. "I- I gotta go hyung."

"Jungkook?"

Jungkook got up and left, quickly making his way towards Jimin. He could see his discomfort, he could tell Jimin was pushing someone away, and every single hair on his body rubbed the wrong way.

What the fuck was that guy doing? What the fuck was he doing so close to Jimin, invading his space, making his precious smile fade?

Jungkook was angry. He went over, brushing past people without apologizes and grabbed the guys wrist before he could touch Jimin again. "Get your hands off of him." Jungkook nearly hissed, his jaw tight.

"J-Jungkook-" Jimin tried, but Jungkook shot him a quick look. Jimin shut up.

"Ah, Jeon, right? What brings you to the dance floor?" The guy smiled, Jungkook taking him in. He wasn't as muscular, wasn't quite as tall, and wasn't quite as handsome as himself. He wasn't nearly on Jimin's level.

"Fuck off." Jungkook let go of his wrist with a rough shove. "Don't touch Jimin." He gave him a side eye, glaring harshly.

He was pissed.

"You've got a problem? He's dancing, I'm dancing-"

"He's my boyfriend." Jungkook saw Jimin blush before he turned back to the guy, not caring about the looks he was getting, not caring about the people gasping, not caring how pissed off he looked. He stalked towards the guy, pushing him back again. "So keep your hands off of him."

"Rumors, that's all it is. Jimin's a handsome guy, but come on, you?"

Jungkook knew he was purposely pushing his buttons, but he'd truly had enough. No one was allowed to touch Jimin. He walked forward and grabbed the guys shirt, pulling him closer.

"Don't fucking think you're worth anything. I'd fuck you up if there weren't so many eyes, so consider yourself lucky." Jungkook whispered to him, before throwing him down on the ground. He hadn't even used a third of his strength, the guy seeming to notice that now as he stayed down.

Jungkook heard the murmuring, the music having stopped, the dancing having stopped. He looked around, seeing phones out, and eyes on him. He walked up to Jimin, brushing his hair behind his ears, holding his cheeks softly. He watched him blush under his touch.

"You okay?" He spoke quietly.

"...you didn't..."

Jungkook glared a little, looking at the people looking at him. "Do you all get the memo now? We're dating! Hands off!" Jungkook couldn't help but feel jealousy coursing through his body, taking Jimin's hand gently and leading him towards the exit.

"Jungkook-"

"He's off the list, don't worry. I know his sorry face. He's going to regret ever laying a hand on you." His glare didn't fade, Jungkook ignoring people trying to talk to them.

"Jungkook, come on, we have to apologize-"

"For what?" Jungkook shot Taehyung a look before leaving the building.

"Jungkook! Come on, what the fuck was that all about?!" Jimin tugged his hand free when they got to his car. Jungkook unlocked the car.

"Jimin, he literally grabbed your ass, what was I supposed to do? Leave you to it? No! You asked me to watch over you, I was watching over you!" Jungkook couldn't get over it, he couldn't clear his mind, he couldn't calm down.

"You didn't have to go so far!"

"I don't care, he was being an asshole and people should understand they can't just touch you!" Jungkook took a step forward, Jimin glaring a little.

"You can't just boss your way around, that wasn't fair! He was being a dick, sure, but that doesn't mean you can shove him around!"

"Why are you upset about how I treated him? You should be upset about how he treated you!" Jungkook was beyond upset. He couldn't calm down. "I can't believe it!"

"Jungkook, seriously, what's gotten into you? You- you confessed in front of everyone!" Jimin looked upset. He really did, but Jungkook was equally upset, though both for different reasons.

"And? It's true, isn't it? I'm done being vague, I'm done with people not taking me seriously." Jungkook sighed heavily. "Are you okay?"

"Jungkook! We're- you're going too far."

"I'd do that for anyone who personally asked me to be a bodyguard for the night." Jungkook grit his teeth. "And no one gets to touch you like that."

"We're not fucking dating, you didn't have to announce that."

"We are to the world. No? Isn't that what you told me? So fucking act like it, I'm tired of you letting people flirt with you. I-" Jungkook wanted Jimin to understand, but he couldn't explain the jealousy without truly outing himself. He sighed instead. "Just let me drive you home, I need to get a fucking drink."

Jimin hugged himself. "...I don't get it Jungkook."

"Just get in the car." Jungkook got in the drivers seat, hitting his steering wheel once with his fist. He didn't have anger issues, he just couldn't stand watching Jimin be so outwardly uncomfortable.

Jimin got in quietly, his knees turned toward the door. He made himself small, Jungkook sighing as he drove.

Why. Why why why was he like this? He couldn't hold himself back, he got so angry, he got so possessive and angry and jealous and it was horrible. He was horrible.

He felt like crying.

"...I'll drop you off and head home, okay?" Jungkook spoke quietly. Jimin probably didn't want to have him around.

"...can you stay?" Jimin spoke softly, but Jungkook was still fuming.

"I don't think you want me to."

"Don't put words in my mouth."

Jungkook sighed. "Yeah. I can stay." Jungkook was still furious. "But I really don't think you'll want me to."

"Don't decide how I feel. That's not your decision to make. I want you with me...so we can calm down and talk about it..."

"What more is there to say?" Jungkook kept his eyes on the road. He was truly not having a good night. He couldn't even understand himself, as his thoughts slowly seeped in...why wasn't he the first to touch Jimin? Was there someone else before him? He should've danced with Jimin. Then he could've kept an even better eye on him. "I fucked up." Jungkook really felt like crying now, but he kept his eyes on the road.

"No, you- don't make yourself feel bad, that's not what I'm trying to do. I just have...I think we can talk it out better if we both took showers and sat down instead of yelling at each other in a parking lot." Jimin still spoke quietly, Jungkook glancing at him.

He looked...nervous. God, the energy in the car was probably horrible and he didn't even notice. He didn't even turn on the radio! Jungkook cursed at himself and turned on the radio, feeling upset at himself for not taking better care of Jimin.

"Sorry." Jungkook mumbled, his mood only worsening. "Sorry, I'm..." he sighed. "Maybe we should talk another night."

"I want to talk it through tonight. While you're still feeling what you're feeling and while you still have things to say."

Jungkook sighed again. "Fine." He was such a pushover when it came to Jimin.

They got to Jimin's house, Jungkook feeling dread. He just wanted to go home and- Mochi trotted up to them as they went inside, going around and through Jimin's legs before rubbing against Jungkook.

"Hey sweet girl." Jimin crouched down and pet her, smiling softly. "You missed us?"

Jungkook wanted to cry. He just...wanted to come home with Jimin every day, greet their pets and make food together, sleep in the same bed. He wanted to date him.

"Aw, we've been so busy." Jimin picked her up, carrying her as they went through the house. "We can take showers then talk, okay?" Jimin still spoke softly.

Jungkook nodded, knowing that if he spoke at the moment his voice would break.

They went to their different rooms, Jungkook taking a look at the guest room that was his.

He didn't mean to get this far. He just wanted a friend. He really did, that was the whole point. Trick Taehyung...gain a new friend...but...but now...he was invading Jimin's boundaries. If he knew how he really felt, he would probably break their friendship.

He took a long shower, trying to get out of his head but couldn't help but ponder in his thoughts. He felt like he was spiraling.

Jungkook sat on his bed, trying to calm down, trying to get his head clear and back to okay, but...he was feeling too many feelings.

A knock on the door made Jungkook remember what else he had to do tonight. "Hey...you good?" Jimin opened the door, poking his head inside. He was holding Mochi.

"Yeah..."

"...want to make some tea?"

"Sure." Jungkook stood up, sniffing and brushing his hand under his nose quickly. He was sort of weak at the moment...he didn't want to cry in front of Jimin.

They went down to the kitchen, Jimin putting on the kettle. He got some mugs out and tea bags. Jungkook sat on the kitchen floor, sighing heavily as he banged his head back on the cabinet in disappointment. "I'm really sorry Jimin."

"No...I understand why you did what you did. I was just really...really shocked. I didn't think someone would go so far for me but..." Jimin poured them their drinks, handing Jungkook a mug. "But I..."

"Just say it." Jungkook felt terrible.

Jimin sat next to him. "You scared me."

"What?" Jungkook looked at him, his eyebrows going high in concern. "How did I scare you?"

"...you scared me by how angry you were." Jimin stared at his own cup of tea. "I was scared by how much force you used, and I...felt like you easily could've been mad at me."

"...I'm sorry." Jungkook looked at his mug. He wanted to cry. "Is that why you didn't talk back to me? I'm so sorry Jimin, I'm so sorry." He really tried to hold it in. "I got really upset and I'm sorry I scared you."

"Are you okay?"

"Me? Are you?" Jungkook sighed. "I just...I wanted you to have a good time tonight and I got pissed that someone ruined it."

"It wasn't ruined. I still had some fun but...well, maybe you're right. Maybe it's time for people to take me seriously." Jimin took a sip. "But you did scare me."

"I'm so sorry Jimin." Jungkook couldn't look at him again. "...I can seriously go home if you want me too."

"All I want is to understand, not for you to leave." Jimin put a hand on Jungkook's knee. "So can you explain?..."

"No." Jungkook held his mug tighter. "I can't explain it better. I wanted you to have fun, and I made your night worse. I could've handled that situation better and I should've danced with you." Jungkook felt regret upon regret. "I should go home Jimin."

"Jungkook...can you please not run away from your problems and thoughts? I want to hear them..."

"I don't want to talk about it." Jungkook took a sip, trying to calm down.

"Jungkook..." Jimin squeezed his knee. "Please, I want you to express your feelings without the anger. It'll feel better to get it off your shoulders."

Jungkook shook his head. He couldn't explain it. "I'm upset that someone ruined your night and I'm upset that I got upset. I'm upset that I wasn't there sooner or faster. And...I'm...upset that you got mad at me instead of him." He scowled. "...and...I'm upset that you didn't defend yourself by saying we were dating. It could've helped."

"Okay. Well, I hope it eases you to know that I still had fun tonight. Shitty things happen, but you got there as soon as you could and that's the best you could do. I'm sorry you feel so upset, I can't help that, but...please don't do anything like that again." Jimin took a sip. "Sometimes you're scary. You're big, you've got muscles and when you're angry it's...a lot."

"I'm really sorry Jimin." Jungkook spoke quietly. "I didn't mean to, I know that doesn't excuse it, but it's true. I'm sorry and I'll do better. I never wanted to scare you."

"As long as you know and learn then that's enough apologizing for me." Jimin smiled at him. "...and stop trying to go home. I want you here with me, you must know this."

"I don't know why." Jungkook couldn't get out of his self deprecating thoughts. "I can't understand why you'd want me around tonight."

"Because, I enjoy your company. One of these days I'll get a dance out of you."

Jungkook smiled a little at Jimin's attempt to bring the mood up. "Maybe on my wedding day, but other than that...well, I don't think I'm much of a dancer."

Jimin laughed. "Shut up, I'm sure you're great at dancing. Besides, you'll have to practice before your wedding day. I'll get you to dance with me. Did you have fun tonight playing pool?"

"Ah, I teamed up with Hoseok hyung so it was pretty fun. I enjoy...being around him. He's cuddly just like me." Jungkook smiled a little. At least he got to tell someone.

"Ah. You know, I don't mind you sleeping in my bed. I know you have sleeping issues, and I really don't mind us sharing a bed. I told you I'm comfortable with you." Jimin took his hand off Jungkook's knee, drinking his tea.

"Ah. Right." Jungkook blushed a little. He was embarrassed to sleep in the same bed as Jimin, though he did sleep significantly better. "...maybe that would be nice tonight."

"Then let's. I don't mind at all. How's the tea?"

"It's good. I haven't had tea in a while but it's calming." Jungkook drank some more. "What is it?"

"It's sleepy time tea. It'll help you calm down." Jimin hummed in approval. "It's always helped me go to bed."

"Do you have trouble sleeping?"

"Rarely. But when I do this helps. Maybe you need some every night, since you sleep so badly."

"I sleep better in someone else's bed..." Jungkook spoke quietly, staring at his cup. "Maybe I do need this every night."

"...have you...been with someone before?"

"I...haven't..." Jungkook glanced at Jimin. "But that's not what you're asking, is it?"

"We-well..."

"I'm not a virgin if that's what you're asking. Yes I've slept with people." Jungkook sighed heavily. "But I haven't been in a relationship before."

"Oh." Jimin sounded a little sad. "I haven't. I haven't done anything really. I was in a short relationship once but it didn't last and I don't count it. He was a little pushy and didn't let me settle into it. But thank you Jungkook for being kind to me. I'm really glad you were kind enough to let me settle into this."

Jungkook felt bad. "I hope...I'm not too much."

"You're lovely Jungkook." Jimin slowly put his head on Jungkook's shoulder. "I really like having you around...though...I think I was surprised to see you angry."

"I'm really sorry."

"It's okay. Everyone deserves to express their emotions, I just...was shocked. That's all."

Jungkook slowly put his head on top of Jimin's. "I'm sorry."

"...you're okay."

Jungkook wanted to laugh at that. He was totally not okay.

"You really for bed?"

"Yeah. I'm tired and feel bad. Hopefully this will be a nice rest."

"You're not streaming tomorrow are you?"

"No, I'm not. I'm going to sleep forever." Jungkook smiled a little at the thought of sleeping in with Jimin before he felt guilt for feeling happy. He wasn't supposed to make this weird.

"Sounds like a plan."

Jungkook got up first, helping Jimin up next so they could go to bed.

Jungkook...really liked Jimin. He was kind, and silly, and considerate. He was soft and happy and his smile was the best thing he'd ever seen. They climbed into bed together, Jungkook holding him close. He was horrible for abusing his kindness.

He was horrible for taking his friendship for granted. He was horrible for feeling different feelings from Jimin.

____

Jimin woke up with Jungkook holding him tightly, still sleeping soundly. It was probably around 10am, Jimin waking up naturally, but Jungkook didn't seem to wake up naturally at all. He wondered just how long Jungkook would sleep in without an alarm.

He was so comfortable at the moment. Jimin really wondered what was going on in Jungkook's head. He never seemed to understand him, even though he knew him well at this point.

Jimin just wanted to understand. He wanted to be able to comfort Jungkook in the best way possible, but Jungkook wasn't taking any of his comfort. Even his small gestures were ignored, while his bigger ones were met with clear denial.

Jungkook cuddled him closer, nosing into Jimin's neck. He gave a sleepy hum.

Jimin smiled, holding Jungkook's back. He was so cute when he was tired and soft. He loved when Jungkook was soft in the mornings.

It was his favorite part of the day.

Jungkook was always so bleary eyed, always so quiet and soft and Jimin wanted to baby him so badly. He-

Jimin blushed, feeling embarrassed to think like that. He was just trying to make him comfortable, nothing else. Right?

Right? Oh god Jimin didn't know at the moment.

He nearly yelled when he felt Jungkook bite his neck softly, just scraping his teeth against him. He did shiver though, his blush deepening. "Jungkookie?" Jimin whispered, not wanting to wake him if he was still sleeping.

He was greeted with silence.

He felt so fucking embarrassed. This- this was exactly what Jimin liked about Jungkook. He was kind and cheery and oh so lovely in the mornings. He loved how cuddly Jungkook was in the mornings.

He'd been too mean to the poor boy. He should've been kinder, letting him be a little more touchy. More cuddles. More hand holding. Jimin could easily do that, he could easily sleep in the same bed as Jungkook. For how much longer though...Jimin didn't know.

His stomach felt like a butterfly hutch. His cheeks were still red, his mind trying to give himself excuses. He just liked seeing Jungkook so comfortable and cute- ack, no not cute, but at ease. He looked so cute- mmm, he looked peaceful.

Jimin couldn't get his blush to go away as he put his hand on the back of Jungkook's head, able to smell his shampoo. It was always relaxing. Jungkook had gotten sick of Jimin's stronger shampoo and had simply brought his own, since at this point he was here more often than not.

Jimin really liked Jungkook's company. He was nibbled on again, Jimin blushing more.

He was greeted this time by a mumbling Jungkook. "What time?"

Jimin was flustered. He checked the clock in his room. "T-ten."

"Mmm." Jungkook simply moved to get comfortable, not bothering to wake up further.

God Jimin hated how good Jungkook sounded in the morning. His voice was pure attractiveness, down to its core, making Jimin wonder what was wrong with him. Of course Jungkook was attractive, that was a no brainer, but being attracted to him was completely different.

He'd had these lingering thoughts before.

Jungkook groaned, moving around a bit. "It's too early..."

Jimin smiled, speaking softly for the poor boy. "You didn't even drink last night."

"It was still tiring." He continued to mumbled, nuzzling into Jimin's neck again. "Had a lot on my mind."

"Hopefully you feel better now." Jimin ran a hand through Jungkook's hair. "I really do."

"Mmm." Jungkook sighed a little. "I do. But I owe you. I owe you big time."

"...let's..." Jimin felt a little selfish. "Let's go on a date. Not an anti-date, just a normal one. I know this really cool place we could go out to eat. You know, a friend date." Maybe he did want to keep Jungkook around.

"Mmm." Jungkook continued to mumble. "Sure. When?"

"Whenever you're free."

"Could go today?"

"Sure. But...rest if you're still tired." Jimin smiled, feeling much better this morning than last night. As much as he felt scared of Jungkook's strength...it was...nice to be so well protected. He was glad Jungkook was on his side, glad that he was protecting him, glad that Jungkook was his.

Oh shit. Fuck, Jimin wasn't ready for that.

But Jungkook did look cute in his bed, resting soundly as the morning got warmer. He enjoyed seeing Jungkook's much softer side. And it was because of Jungkook that he'd been feeling so much happier and all.

Jimin watched Mochi jump onto the bed, meowing nonstop for food. Jimin wanted more time with Jungkook, but he did have to feed his beloved cat. He put his hand out for her. She bit him. "Ah, angel please."

"Hm?" Jungkook raised his head a little.

Jimin smiled softly. "Not you silly. Mochi's hungry."

"Ugh." Jungkook sighed heavily. "Fine, let's get up." He sat up, Jimin sitting up as well, picking Mochi up in his arms. "If you hold her she'll get too used to it."

"She's so cute though." Jimin pouted, nuzzling into her fur for a moment. "Ah, she's just too cute!"

Jungkook rubbed his eyes, huffing a little. "Let's just get her some food."

Jimin gave him a glance. Was that...jealousy?

Oh...Jimin had to test this before he could be certain. But if it was jealousy, then what did that mean for them? Wasn't it too soon to really know? Wasn't it a little too ironic? But Jimin did have to admit, he liked having Jungkook around, and not in the same way he liked having Taehyung around. It was close, but it definitely wasn't the same.

Jungkook was solid, in multiple ways. He was mentally stable, he was physically solid, fuck, he was financially stable, and emotionally stable. He would actually be very lovely to date.

Jimin wondered what would be different. He wondered what Jungkook would want. He could kiss him...that...Jimin looked at Jungkook's lips for a moment.

"What, is my hair a mess?" Jungkook smiled a little at Jimin.

"Hm?" Jimin snapped back to reality.

"You were staring." Jungkook got off the bed, ruffling his hair. "Not that I mind." He stretched, Jimin looking away so he didn't see his stomach show, instead, looked at Mochi in his arms.

"Sorry, I got carried away. Thinking about more cats."

Jungkook eyed him for a moment, then glanced at his lips. "Sure you were. Thinking white and fluffy this time?"

Jimin blushed crimson, looking down at Mochi to avoid eye contact. Jungkook totally noticed. "D-definitely. Maybe you s-should pick who we get next time."

"I want a dog." Jungkook waited by the door. "You coming?"

"Shit sorry." Jimin got off the bed, getting slippers on before heading down with Jungkook. He could still feel his embarrassment evident on his burning cheeks. "A dog is for later. They're more work and I've gotta love on Mochi first...so we can pick another lovely kitty and then maybe if you move in we can get a dog."

Jungkook smiled fondly, prepping Mochi's food bowl and filling up her water. "You'd let me move in? We haven't talked about it."

"Well...yeah." Jimin set Mochi down. "I just...well you're here all the time and you spend the night most nights, and it's been kind of four months almost five and I haven't gotten sick of you. Actually quite the opposite." Jimin rambled on. "So...t-think about it, okay?"

"Lemme think on it." Jungkook gave him a shy smile. "I've got a nice landlord at the moment."

"Hey I've always wondered but why don't you live somewhere...better?" Jimin smiled as he watched Mochi eat. She'd been doing so well in such a large house. "I mean, you have the money. Wouldn't you want to live somewhere bigger than an apartment?"

"Ah. Well, I kind of picked somewhere close to Taehyung before he moved and then I never moved myself. I always planned to I just...it was so much work." Jungkook shrugged. "I just didn't care to move I guess. But uh...I wouldn't mind moving in here." He looked away from Jimin, somehow still shy. "I'll think about it."

"Perfect. Let's get ready, I'm certain you're hungry." Jimin smiled softly. "I'll make sure you eat a lot, okay? A treat from me, since you've been so kind to me lately."

"I just want you to try so many treats! If I bring you good food you'll eat it." Jungkook smiled as the two of them made their way back upstairs to get ready. "And I love your smile when you're given gifts."

"It's nothing compared to your own smile. I like...how happy you look when I'm happy." Jimin gave Jungkook a glance. "I like your smile."

"I think yours is nicer." Jungkook barely blushed before going to his room.

Jimin happily got ready, only putting on a little bit of makeup today. To be honest...he didn't want to be noticed while on his date with Jungkook. He just wanted to have a nice time with him.

Jungkook knocked on his door, entering only when Jimin allowed him inside.

He flopped on his bed while Jimin put on his makeup. "So. If I moved in, you'd be totally fine with me streaming?"

"Mhm." Jimin put on eyeshadow.

"And...you'd be fine with me yelling while playing?"

"Mhm." He finished up his eyeliner.

"And...you'd be fine with me up late at night?"

"Mhm." He put on some lipstick, just a tint.

"Is there anything you would mind?"

Jimin got up, cleaning up his area. "I'd mind if you missed a meal." He booped Jungkook's nose. "And I'd mind if you didn't take care of yourself. Other than than, I think we'd be fine."

Jungkook got off his bed with a smile. "You think so?"

"Yeah. I think so." Jimin smiled back.

They seemed to have a mutual understanding of each other in that moment. They both blushed and looked away, Jungkook laughing awkwardly. "Let's ge-get going. You wanna drive?"

"Sure, yeah." Jimin led them to the car, embarrassed by how...different things were today.

Maybe the party was a push over the edge. Jimin felt different at least, though he couldn't really tell if Jungkook felt different. As much as he felt some fear, Jungkook had been so fucking careful around him. He'd held his cheeks gently, and his wrist rather gently. Only his tone was rough, but he was being so kind to him. Completely concerned about him. And Jimin really liked that. The poor boy had even cried over not being able to hug him instead of just talking to him about it, so he knew Jungkook respected his boundaries.

He was just...really lovely. To have around, to be around, to eat with, to sing and talk with, hell, Jimin felt so comfortable around him he was at the point he looked forward to and expected Jungkook to spend the night. He liked having him around and...well...yeah, it was probably different than a friend.

He just didn't know how to tell Jungkook. Or at least, he didn't know how to start the conversation.

But he could try.

They got to their destination, Jimin happy to pay for their meal. This time...it wasn't going to be an anti-date, and Jimin was going to pay. It was going to be different.

"So, and I mean it, would you be fine with me moving all my equipment in?"

"Of course!" Jimin laughed at how Jungkook was still questioning him.

"And we'd split rent?"

"If you'd want to." Jimin leaned on the table, smiling at Jungkook. He looked so excited to talk about it. "I don't mind either way. As long as we have meals together and still hang out."

"Oh of course! I just don't want to be a burden, that's all. I'll help around the house, dishes, laundry, walk a future dog, I really want a dog, and whatever in between." Jungkook smiled happily, looking down at the table. "I've never had a roommate before, s-so I'll do my best."

"I only asked you to consider it, but it seems you've already decided." Jimin laughed, happy to see Jungkook happy. "I've...I've got a question though. About yesterday."

"O-oh? What...more do you have to say?" He gave an anxious smile as he looked up at Jimin. "I thought we cleared the air, I'm really sorry."

"No no, it's nothing bad, I just wanted to know...why...why did you react such a way? I feel as if I'm out of the loop." Jimin smiled a little at Jungkook. "I'm here to listen, really, so please...I want to hear all of your concerns."

Jungkook blushed a little, then opened his mouth, then closed it. "I-" he closed his mouth again. His eyebrows furrowed. "...you said this was a friend date."

"I did but...I want to know...why you got so mad? I understand getting upset, I was uncomfortable but..." Jimin faltered. "I...I'm not sure how to go about this."

"...Jimin it's fine." Jungkook sighed and looked down. "I'm sorry I pushed the line. I'll get better okay? I'll...I'll do better."

"What line?" Jimin asked softly. "Please. I want to know. I want to understand why you were so upset and then jealous."

"J-jealous?" Jungkook gave an exasperated laughed. "What makes you say that?"

Jimin put a hand over Jungkook's. "It's okay, Jungkook. I...I like having you around." He watched Jungkook's face light up, then become confused. "I mean it. I want you around."

"Jimin...what- what do you mean exactly?"

Jimin could tell that Jungkook wouldn't believe him until he said it. "Jungkook. I like you, I really do. And i-if you want this to be, it can be a real date."

"Not an anti-date?" Jungkook smiled at him, teasing him just the same. "And not a friend date?"

"No. A real date." Jimin squeezed his hand. "I want you to stick around. Move in. We can discuss having a dog though, I say more cats first."

Jungkook laughed, moving his hand palm up so he could hold Jimin's hand as well. "Dog first. Then a couple more cats."

"It's my house." Jimin countered, smiling as Jungkook's hand tightened around his own, his smile becoming larger.

"I'll pay rent for a couple months so that during those months the house is mine and I'll buy a dog."

Jimin laughed. "A couple more cats first though! So Mochi can have some friends." He smiled at Jungkook happily. "You owe me a dance."

"There's a party next year, maybe I can prepare for that." Jungkook blushed a little. "Besides...I think I'd rather just spend time with you."

"I'm surprised you haven't gotten sick of me." Jimin hummed. "You've spent quite a lot of time and you've only been supportive."

"I simply don't know enough about you. And when I do, I'll keep wanting to know more. And then I'll continue to want to know more. I'll never get tired of your smile or your laugh." Jungkook held Jimin's hand more carefully now, thumbing over it. "I- I'm...I'm sorry...that I crossed the line."

"I don't mind. I'm sorry you felt bad about doing so. I just...well, I'm nervous to actually date. But I have confidence in you, since you've been nothing but kind about my boundaries."

"I never wanted to make you feel uncomfortable. And I am sorry that I...made things weird." Jungkook pouted a little. "I made things weird...by liking you."

"I don't think you made things weird. The only thing you did was make me worry." Jimin sighed. "I was inconsiderate. I made you cry because I wasn't paying enough attention to your needs. But I promise I'll be better now."

"And I'm sorry I made you scared. You know I'd never hurt you, right?" Jungkook showed concern, still thumbing over Jimin's hand.

"I do." Jimin smiled at him. He liked how soft Jungkook was being at the moment. He hoped...that he was the only one to see this side of him. "I do know that. I understand your jealousy, I just didn't want to assume anything. I...I do want...people to take us seriously as well. You're really sure about all this? Again, I'm not going to force you to come out."

"Yeah, I'm happier with you." Jungkook smiled shyly. "And...I'm willing to be fully out if that means I get to be happier more purely. Plus I want people to see a gay couple. You know? I- I wish I had that when I was younger, and I don't want to hide anything."

"Yes videos?"

"Yes streams?" Jungkook countered.

"Sure."

"Then perfect. I think we'll be good." Jungkook smiled more at him. "I really think you're amazing Jimin. I really just- I- I don't know why I couldn't befriend you before because you're truly amazing. I can't imagine being with anyone less perfect." Jungkook blushed at that. "God that sounds amazing to really say. You're my boyfriend." He smiled before laughing. "Oh I like the sound of that a lot."

Jimin blushed a little too. "It's...nicer...to take it seriously. I like...how it sounds too." Jimin looked down with a smile. "I like...when you say it. It sounds nice."

Jungkook gave a bunny smile, scrunching his nose happily. "Cute! C- can I compliment? U-um what about- about affection? D-does my status change my amount?" He laughed a little. "I'm still here to respect your boundaries."

"We can...try things out. Okay?"

"Okay! Tell me if you ever dislike something. You know I'm fond of affection."

"Mhm." Jimin remembered feeling a little jealous of Hoseok being constantly hugged by Jungkook. "I'm sure we can find what we're comfortable with. You've always been open for conversation."

"Of course! I want you to be as comfortable as you possibly can." Jungkook smiled softly. "That's all I want. Plus probably some more affection. I think I deserve it." Jungkook cheekily grinned.

"Oh sure, you big baby. You need a lot." Jimin laughed, looking at their hands together. "You do deserve a lot though. I'll make sure you never cry over not being taken care of."

"And I promise I'll take care of you too."

Jimin couldn't help but blush happily. He felt really...good. He felt happy, he felt appreciated, he felt really really happy.

Their food arrived, Jungkook eating happily, not really wanting to let go of Jimin's hand but doing so to eat.

"We've gotta try that place down the road again, they really know how to cook their meat."

"You're just picky." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"I'm telling you, it's just a really good place!"

"Again, you're just picky." Jimin laughed, eyeing Jungkook's food for a second.

"Want a taste? It's pretty good."

"No, no I've..." Jimin gave a small smile. "You know."

"Try it." Jungkook set a bite sized amount of food on Jimin's plate. "It's really good."

"I shouldn't." Jimin picked it up, looking at it. He had to admit, he was curious about the taste. "I really shouldn't."

"Jimin. Seriously, a bite isn't going to kill you. Besides...you should let me have a word with your sponsor and partnership." Jungkook pouted.

"Ah, come on, I'm doing the pride month special okay?" Jimin took the bite, smiling at how good it tasted.

"We should look at a different place for you." Jungkook huffed. "They aren't fair to you."

"That's...true." Jimin pouted a little.

"And since when have you been able to be stepped on?" Jungkook tried to give him confidence. Jimin laughed a little.

"Never."

"So why are you letting it happen now?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow.

"Oh fuck off, I just- I've been busy, that's all. I...do want...to look somewhere else though." Jimin smiled a little shyly.

"Somewhere...where your ideas are taken seriously?"

"Yeah."

"And where you aren't just their token gay."

"Exactly!"

"And where you can eat instead of staying under a certain weight."

"I...would prefer that." Jimin nodded, seeing Jungkook smile.

"So you aren't happy at all with the place you're at now."

"I- hey, you weren't supposed to win this conversation." Jimin eyed him.

"I'm just saying!" Jungkook held his hands up playfully. "You deserve somewhere better and I know you'd feel happier somewhere else."

"People don't reach out to me to model though...I'm afraid I'll be turned down if I ask around."

"Well...I know of one way you can get some attention." Jungkook smiled at him.

"Which is?"

"Make a video about how you're treated at your company now. You know how many people flock to get someone another company? Companies love to reach out after the bashing of a rival company." Jungkook laughed a little. "Besides...you're a really good model. I think people would love to see what you could do."

"You think?"

"Yeah. I really do."

"Well I think you're biased." Jimin teased him. "But not wrong. I know I've got more to show. They just...don't care about me. You know what? You're right, I'm done. After June, I'm leaving."

"Good! You deserve better!" Jungkook happily smiled.

Jimin laughed. "You're funny Jungkook."

"I couldn't imagine not eating." Jungkook shook his head. "I complain when I don't eat enough, and I eat a lot."

"Cause you expend so much energy! It makes sense that you want to replenish yourself."

"You need to as well."

"I am perfectly balanced." Jimin smiled a little.

"That's what they want you to think." Jungkook tried to playfully prove his point. "You're letting the corporations decide how you should look."

"Ahhh, are you saying I don't look good?"

"Dunno, I haven't seen much of you." Jungkook grinned a little. "Will that change?"

"How charming." Jimin rolled his eyes.

"What? I really wanna see your tattoos. I bet they're so cool!" Jungkook giggled.

"Of course you would think that. I mean...they are cool." Jimin looked to the side with slight embarrassment. "Maybe you'll get to see them. Dunno yet, we'll have to see how...how um...I guess how you take it?" Jimin laughed a little. "I've never really been t-touched before or k-kissed so..." he blushed more at the thought of Jungkook doing those things.

"Then we can try it! I- I mean right?" Jungkook bit away his excitement.

Jimin blushed more. "I- I'm not s-sure cause I haven't- I don't know-" Jimin stuttered, feeling embarrassed by his want to know what it's like but not knowing how to do any of that.

"I can show you?" Jungkook took Jimin's hand softly. "I'll be slow, I'll be careful, and we can stop anytime you don't like something."

"Y-you're..." Jimin knew he was red as a beet. "You're sure?"

"Do you trust me?" Jungkook leaned in a little closer with an honest smile.

"I do." Jimin looked up at him, still feeling shy. "I'm just nervous. I- I mean, I don't know if I'll be good or if you'll dislike something or-"

"Hey." Jungkook squeezed his hand. "I like you. I like you a lot. I'm gunna be slow and kind and careful and I'm going to listen to you and all your concerns. Okay? So...your pace. That's what we'll do."

"Okay." Jimin eased a little. "Then- then we can go- go slow."

"Perfect. I'm all for it." Jungkook rubbed his thumb over Jimin's hand. "Anything to make you comfortable. But hey...don't feel bad if something new makes you comfortable, okay? It's okay to feel good." Jungkook smiled a little teasingly.

"Sh-shut up! I don't know anything yet." Jimin blushed more, feeling immensely embarrassed.

"Well you know when you're a kid and you think kissing sounds so gross? And then you get a little older and you're like okay this is actually kind of nice. And sometimes when you don't kiss someone for like, a long time, you start to miss it. But you also tend to miss it when you're with someone too, even if you're gone for just a day."

"So you've kissed someone before too?" Jimin pouted a little.

"I'm 23, I'm sorry I'm not as careful as you are about dating." Jungkook teased him. "But I do...look forward to kissing you." He blushed a little at this. "And I hope you like it."

"Ah...I...I hope I'm not...bad." Jimin sighed and hung his head a little in shame. He knew his cheeks were red and hot, he could feel it. "I really don't know how to...do anything."

"That's fine! I'll show you, it'll be nice." Jungkook grinned happily. "And I'll be happy to do so."

"Oh shut up, you're making me shy." Jimin covered his face with his free hand, Jungkook laughing.

"Don't you think about it too? I wanna know how you kiss. Are you sweet? Are you needy? I want to see you embarrassed but happy. Maybe even proud of yourself." Jungkook leaned a little closer, dropping his voice to a whisper. "Don't you wonder what you could do to me? You know I'd let you do whatever you want."

"J-Jungkook-"

"Have you? Have you ever wondered what it's like? I want to know...what you think about. I don't mind if you wonder what's under my shirt. I've been very patient and have avoided wondering about you." Jungkook smiled more.

Jimin was still so embarrassed. He hadn't seen or heard Jungkook really flirt before. "I- I don't- I haven't, I promise I haven't, I'm not..." Jimin shook his head. "God, stop teasing me."

"You are quite nervous about skin showing. But Jimin, why is that?"

"W-well, I don't like showing skin cause people like t-to sexualize me b-but I don't like seeing skin cause it- it makes me nervous." Jimin continued to fumble his words. "Especially you."

Jungkook laughed. "Why's that Jiminie? Why do you get nervous around me?"

"C-cause you've got such big muscles." Jimin whispered in embarrassment, shaking his head. "It's...I..."

"So you have thought about some things?" Jungkook teased him. "What does the pure, kindhearted Jimin think of when he's alone?" He continued to whisper, Jimin unable to look at him.

"I- I- Jungkook-"

"Aww, so cute! Would you rather wait till we we get home? Then you could say all you want and I'd be able to do a little more than whisper my promises to you."

"Jungkook!" Jimin looked at Jungkook through his hand. "W-what- why are you...being so confident..." he mumbled, still feeling immensely embarrassed.

"I'm just so happy. I was never going to force myself onto you, but for you to...to actually feel the same is...relieving." Jungkook smiled more before laughing. "I really didn't try to, I really didn't!"

"It just means I'm charming, no?" Jimin smiled a little, still red.

"Oh very. I've absolutely been charmed. Perhaps you've used magic on me, though I'm not against it. I'm happy. I'm happier than I've ever been and it's cause I've been with you." Jungkook laughed again. "Isn't it so funny? In only five months...my entire life has changed. I'm about to get a dog!"

Jimin laughed, squeezing Jungkook's hand back. "You're silly Jungkook. You'll get your dog, don't worry."

"Good. But I look forward to...testing the waters with you first."

"Oh." Jimin blushed again. "W-well, I hope-"

"You'll be amazing." Jungkook smiled. "Cause it'll be you. That's what matters. That it's you, and me."

"You're...something else." Jimin sighed softly.

"Of course I am! I'm happy, that's different."

"I'm glad I can bring you so much happiness."

"I'm hope I can do the same for you."

____

Jungkook happily packed boxes full of his things, getting the last box taped up.

"When's the truck coming?"

"In an hour! We finished a little early." Jungkook moved the box to the door with the others, getting a couple glasses of water for the both of them.

Jimin took a seat on the couch, taking the glass. "Well good! A little break then." He smiled. "Excited to move in?"

"I am! I feel a little sad for having to take the week off of streaming but I'm moving so they were kind to me. I've...gotten a lot more questions about you darling." Jungkook sat down next to him, smiling at him. "You know I didn't lie and I said I was moving in with you."

"Oh boy, I know. I've gotten...a flood of comments and tags on every platform." Jimin laughed a little. "But I don't mind. It's the first time I've publicly dated, so of course people are interested." Jimin set his glass down on the ground. "God it's weird to see your apartment so empty."

"Well, we already sold most of my furniture and I'm leaving the couch so...just boxes." Jungkook laughed. "Boxes...and you and me."

Jimin blushed. "...you're..."

"Can I kiss you?" Jungkook asked kindly. He'd been asking for many days now, but would stop perusing as soon as Jimin would say no. Just one ask, that's all. He wasn't here to push Jimin into anything.

"Jungkook..." Jimin blushed and sighed.

Jungkook moved closer, putting his arm on the back of the couch. "Jimin..." Jungkook cornered him, putting his other hand on the armrest. "Say no if you mean no. You know I won't make you say yes, so say no."

"I..." Jimin blushed more, looking embarrassed and slightly upset. "I want to. I really do."

"Hey, the only way to get better is to practice." Jungkook cheekily grinned. "And I'm absolutely willing to practice with you."

Jimin laughed a little quietly, still embarrassed. "I...I want to." Jimin reached up and held Jungkook's cheek. "I do. S-so don't make fun of me, okay?"

"Never in a million years." Jungkook smiled happily. "We can go slow...and careful...and I won't make fun of you." Jungkook leaned closer, boxing Jimin into the corner even more. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jimin pulled Jungkook closer, closing his eyes.

Jungkook happily met his lips with his own, letting Jimin give him one small, soft, sweet kiss. "Oh you're cute." Jungkook grinned, putting their foreheads together. "You're so cute."

"C-cute?" Jimin was red, Jungkook smiling down at him. He thought he looked cute under him, so small.

"Yeah, really cute." Jungkook hummed. "You gave such a small kiss, it was basically a peck."

"You said you wouldn't make fun!" Jimin pouted, his blush becoming darker.

Jungkook giggled. "I'm not, I promise, I'm just incredibly happy. And I...can't wait-"

Jungkook was cut off by Jimin's hand abruptly grabbing the back of his head and pushing their lips together. His eyes went wide in surprise before he melted into the kiss, Jimin allowing it to go much longer. Jungkook felt sparks as Jimin opened his mouth a little, taking in Jungkook's upper lip.

Jungkook's arm around the couch went to Jimin's cheek, holding him softly as he pushed only slightly to make the kiss deeper. Jimin allowed it, inviting Jungkook closer to him.

They broke away only to breathe. Jungkook put their foreheads together again. "You're bold for someone who's never kissed before."

"B-but was it g-good?"

"Oh Jimin...I could never get enough." Jungkook smiled. Jimin was inexperienced, sure, but he made up for it in pure passion. Jungkook was already wanting more, even though it's only been seconds. "Your lips are...heaven."

Jungkook could feel the heat under his hand from Jimin's cheek. "I- I'm glad you-"

"Did you like it?" Jungkook hummed, pulling away just a little to see Jimin's face. "That's what's more important." He thumbed over Jimin's lip softly.

"I...yeah." Jimin shut his eyes. "Yes, I did."

Jungkook took in the sight. Jimin was completely red, his lips a little shiny, but definitely plump and god Jungkook wanted more. Oh shit he didn't expect that feeling so soon. He moved his hand to hold Jimin's chin, tilting his head up a little. "You...are going to be the death of me."

Jungkook kissed him again, taking his bottom lip in between his own and taking control of the kiss this time. He let it be slow, and precise, making sure Jimin didn't speed up the kiss and wanting him to feel needy. He felt Jimin relax under him, Jungkook smiling a little before pulling away. Jimin followed him just a little before blushing more.

"Fuck off." He turned his head to the side, Jungkook turning his head right back to him, still holding Jimin's chin. "Fuck off, goddamn it." He looked down.

Jungkook smiled proudly. "See? It's nice, no? Your lips are really soft. I've never spent too much time staring at them, but I sure will now." Jungkook casually flirted, loving Jimin's reactions. He also loved how crowded into the corner he was; he was so small and cute, Jungkook liked how easy it was to completely cover him.

"Shut up." Jimin mumbled. "You were trying to make me want more."

"Do you not?" Jungkook playfully pouted. "Was I not good enough?"

"Shut up, of course I want more! I-" Jimin blushed more. "Fuck off." He shrunk more, embarrassed and shy. Maybe shameful, but Jungkook didn't care.

"...then do you want more?" Jungkook spoke quietly, still smiling.

"W-well we shouldn't- c-cause of the movers coming..." Jimin faltered, looking at Jungkook's lips before looking away.

"It's not like we'll get caught. Besides...like we said, we've got an hour." Jungkook coaxed him, happy to have Jimin comfortable around him. "So?"

"You're horrible. A horrible influence." Jimin blushed red, still embarrassed.

"Aww, don't worry." Jungkook grinned. "I can be much worse." He kissed him again, feeling Jimin's hands slowly move to his chest. Jungkook smiled at the feeling, liking how embarrassed but shameless Jimin was. Jungkook pulled away again, seeing Jimin's cheeks red, and lips red. He was breathing a little shakily. "Oh angel..."

"J-Jungkook..." Jimin pressed gently against his chest, as Jungkook moved closer. "Y-you're too much."

"How so?" Jungkook pressed closer, Jimin sinking into the couch more. "You're too much of a tease, how could I ever say no to that face?"

"What face?" Jimin meant it honestly, but Jungkook only smiled and rolled his eyes.

"So oblivious to your own charm?" Jungkook hummed, taking Jimin in once again. God he was gorgeous. Red lips, red cheeks, eyes wide with curiosity but uncertainty. If Jungkook hadn't already confessed he might've had to on the spot. "You've got me in the palm of your hand." Jungkook put his hand back on the armrest, blocking Jimin into the corner of the couch. His other hand went to Jimin's. "Can't you feel my heartbeat? You're making me crazy."

"S-stop, you've been hanging out with Jin hyung too much! Why are you being so- so forward..." Jimin mumbled, closing his eyes tightly. "You're too much."

"Do you want me to stop?" Jungkook simply grinned.

Jimin shook his head slightly, still red to his ears.

"Okay. Do you want more?" Jungkook pushed him a little more, though he'd stop at any no. As soon as he said no.

"I..."

"We don't have to." Jungkook reminded him. "Just cause I want to doesn't mean you have to."

Jimin sighed. "I want to. You make me feel embarrassed to say what I want."

"Sure I can read the mood, but I need you to say things so I can respect your boundaries." Jungkook tried to understand Jimin's facial expressions.

"I want more." Jimin spoke softly. "You...can you show me?" He looked at Jungkook, pouting a little in embarrassment.

"Oh dear god you're beautiful." Jungkook melted into a smile at Jimin. "So beautiful."

Jimin blushed more at the compliment, Jungkook noting that. So he liked being complimented...mmm.

"Alright...can you follow my lead? You've always been a quick learner." Jungkook hummed happily.

"S-sure." Jimin nodded a little.

"Good." Jungkook kissed him slowly, taking Jimin's bottom lip in between his own, letting Jimin get the rhythm again before slowly trying to get Jimin to open his mouth a little. His hands on Jungkook's chest tightened. "Open your mouth just a little angel." Jungkook whispered against his lips. "No need to be nervous."

"A-ah, sorry."

"Ah- don't apologize." Jungkook tsk'd. "You're good."

"O-okay." Jimin whispered back.

Jungkook smiled softly, loving how cute Jimin looked. "Good boy." He kissed him again, getting Jimin to open his mouth just enough to slide his tongue inside. Jimin's hands tightened on his chest, Jungkook's able to feel his shirt leave his skin. He wanted to laugh at how cute Jimin was, but he was more focused on how fucking amazing Jimin's lips felt.

He felt Jimin's want to use his own tongue, but too afraid to do so. He pulled away just a little, Jimin pouting immediately. "...I don't know how..."

"That's okay." Jungkook couldn't wipe the smile off his face. "You'll learn. Do you like that?"

Jimin nodded. "It...feels weird b-but I like...your mouth..." he giggled. "I'm sorry, you've got lipstick all over your mouth."

Jungkook laughed. "I don't mind some more?"

"Cheeky." Jimin laughed again. "You'll mess up my makeup."

"I don't mind, as long as you're still wanting more." Jungkook put their foreheads together. "You're beautiful, you know that?"

"Shut up."

Jungkook was absolutely in favor of making out for the rest of the hour, loving how Jimin slowly got more and more comfortable and giggly. He loved feeling Jimin's small hands on his chest, loving every single part.

He'd have to tell Jimin that next time he can absolutely run his hands up his shirt if he wanted to, instead of just grabbing onto his shirt, however cute that was. He wanted Jimin to get used to touching him too. He could imagine his little hands on his skin, goddamn it  Jungkook was barely able to help move boxes to the moving van because of how unfocused he was.

Jimin was a little frazzled when the movers knocked on the door, quickly fixing his makeup while Jungkook had simply washed the lipstick off his face.

But goddamn it...Jungkook really wanted more. Of course he'd be patient, fuck, he'd never make Jimin do anything but he definitely wanted Jimin to touch him.

He just wanted Jimin to feel good.

____

Jimin slowly got used to affection. Jungkook was kind, always asking if what he wanted to do was okay, and always noticing when Jimin was nervous. They went slow, and careful, until Jimin could see that it was nice or that he actually didn't like it.

Cuddles. Jimin got used to cuddling extremely quickly.

He did not, however, get used to Jungkook bursting into his room during his streaming breaks and kissing him, camera or not, while yelling compliments as he left.

Jimin couldn't recover from that easily. He...didn't know how to handle being so casually loved. So easily loved. And Jungkook really didn't let him live safe and sound.

Jimin was suffering this summer.

It was hot, it was gross, and Jimin was not ready for Jungkook to wear less clothes. It seemed that Jungkook was also not ready to see Jimin wear less clothes. Though, those two things were entirely different. Jimin wore tank tops while Jungkook discarded shirts entirely.

Jimin felt embarrassed all the time.

Jungkook didn't care that it was hot, he was still affectionate and touchy, but that meant kissing while he didn't have a shirt on and oh god Jimin's brain would not let him rest.

He lied in bed, his head absolutely running in circles about what Jungkook just did 10 minutes ago. Jungkook had run into their room while Jimin was trying to sleep, taking a small break from a stream, and had absolutely smothered him in kisses.

He'd straddled him, grabbed his hands and kissed him, pressing Jimin's hands up his shirt and to his chest, making Jimin feel only a tad bit needy (he knew he was lying to himself) before leaving for his next long stream of the night.

Jimin couldn't get it out of his head. He didn't know what he wanted, he just knew that whatever that was...wasn't enough.

He tried to roll over and forget it, but he couldn't, his mind was on Jungkook, and he- he-

Jimin blushed and put his blanket over his head.

He wanted more.

That was a fact now.

He sat up, feeling embarrassed and shy, but...he felt so needy. Apparently a year with Jungkook will do that to a person. Jimin could hear him still playing with his friends. He wanted to go inside, but he felt silly now; it was such a stupid thing, really, but...

He opened his laptop, joining Jungkook's stream to see how busy he was, before texting him on his phone.

Jimin (1:34)
You nearly done?

Jimin watched Jungkook read it, a smile coming on his face while he talked with his friends.

Jungkook (1:37)
Not really, do you need something? Am I being too loud?

Jimin felt embarrassed now. He didn't have a legitimate reason to call Jungkook over to him except that he was feeling a tad bit horny.

Jimin (1:38)
No...just want you...

Jungkook (1:38)
I'll finish as soon as siccan

Jimin nearly laughed, as Jungkook texted him immediately and quickly, but instead blushed at being know. He watched Jungkook bite down a grin and he knew he was absolutely bouncing his leg now. Jimin knew Jungkook looked forward to every opportunity Jimin gave him regarding affection.

He watched the stream, sending a couple messages in the chat, then seeing people react to Jimin being in the chat, before Jungkook tried to leave.

His friends teased him, but Jungkook insisted he had to go. "I'll be all the earlier tomorrow, thank you all so much for staying. Bye~" Jungkook waved to the camera before the stream ended.

Jimin put his laptop away, charging his phone, getting ready for bed, before Jungkook hurriedly opened the door, closing it behind him with his foot while he got his shirt off. "You're such a tease Jimin."

"I didn't say anything!" Jimin blushed immediately. He would never be able to normalize Jungkook's muscles. He was just too fit. "I- I didn't-"

Jungkook got on the bed, laying next to Jimin. "You sure got my attention. What'd you want love?" Jungkook pulled Jimin on top of him, holding his hands. "Cause I know exactly how you meant that text. Sorry to make you wait." He kissed Jimin once.

"I- I don't- I don't know what I want." Jimin pouted, feeling embarrassed all over again. "I- it's so stupid Jungkook, really, just...w-we can sleep, right?" He blushed, whining when Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Don't give me that!"

"You want...to sleep?" He laughed. "I can't say I believe you Jiminie, truly, you've never called me off a stream before."

"I- it's so stupid Jungkook." Jimin wriggled his hands free, sitting up and crossing his arms.

"Come here." Jungkook softly took Jimin's wrists, but Jimin protested. "Jimin~ come on, I want to hear your concerns and listen to your requests." Jungkook held his hands...then slowly put Jimin's hands on his bare chest. "You know I don't mind if you touch. Or kiss. Or even bite. If you want it, I'm yours."

Jimin blushed red, embarrassed by how easy it was for Jungkook to say something like that. "Jungkook..." he looked down. "I..." he sighed.

"Ohhhh, I see." Jungkook hummed happily. "I left you hanging, didn't I? Was it not enough? You did look a little sad to see me go." Jungkook giggled. "Oh Jimin, you make my heart sing."

Jimin sighed again but nodded. "I couldn't sleep."

"Oh you poor thing, I made you feel needy?" Jungkook grinned proudly. "Am I finally getting inside your head? Are you maybe thinking about me in...more ways?" Jungkook hinted at it, Jimin sighing heavily, slowly rubbing Jungkook's chest.

"I don't know what I'm thinking. I just...want more." Jimin whispered, looking at a smiling Jungkook.

"Oh?" He sat up, holding Jimin's waist. "How so? How much more?"

Jimin whined, feeling too embarrassed to do anything. "Jungkook-"

"I mean it Jimin, you know I'm going to listen. So...how much do you want?"

"I- I don't know, I just- I want to- to- I want more, I don't know!" He covered his face, Jungkook pulling him into a hug. "I don't know I just...feel...like I want more."

"Well...let's start with something and then you can show me or tell me what more you want?" Jungkook rubbed his back, before slipping his hands up Jimin's shirt, touching his back carefully.

"S-sure, yeah, yes." Jimin removed his hands from his face, putting them on Jungkook's shoulders. He knew he was still incredibly red. "That sounds perfect."

"Good." Jungkook kissed him, pulling Jimin closer and slowly rubbing his hips.

They continued where Jungkook had left them before; kissing until they were panting a little and Jimin was needy again. "Jungkook." Jimin pouted, biting Jungkook's lip playfully.

"Mm?" Jungkook was a little dazed, his hands rubbing Jimin's thighs tenderly. "What do you need?"

"Too many clothes." Jimin stared at Jungkook's lips, wishing they would kiss more of him. He blushed red at the thought. "Get this shit off of me." Jimin sat up on his knees, pulling his shorts down.

Jungkook helped him the rest of the way, happy to help get clothes off of him. "What do you want sweetheart? This is new."

"C-can't we just- just play around?" Jimin wanted Jungkook's touch and his kisses.

"Mmm~ but what do you want? You never give free reign." Jungkook hummed in excitement.

"I-" Jimin laughed a little in delirium. "I really want you to touch me. And I want you to kiss me, and I want to know what it's like when you're more than satisfied. I- I'm- the more we k-kiss the more I want more."

Jungkook grinned wider. "You want me to touch you anywhere? Kiss you everywhere? How much more do you want?"

Jimin sat on Jungkook's crotch after getting his shorts off. "More."

"Oh Jimin." Jungkook shivered happily. "You can't honestly mean it. Am I dreaming again?"

"Again? Where is your shame?" Jimin watched Jungkook simply smile, his hands running from Jimin's thighs to his ass. Jimin blushed deeper.

"My shame? It's on a business trip, wouldn't want it to make me self conscious while you're offering to show me how beautiful you are here. Is this fine?"

Jimin nodded, before feeling Jungkook's kisses on his neck.

"You're so beautiful Jimin, you truly have no idea. Every single fucking thing you do...I'm in awe. And then you prove to me that I'll never see enough. You...fuck." Jungkook groped him, biting Jimin's neck softly as he did so. "You...are so unfair."

"H-how so? I- I'm-" Jimin raked a hand through Jungkook's hair, the other going to his back.

"Your ass...you know I love it, fuck, I just- I'm- you're making me lose my mind." Jungkook laughed a little.

"W-what's on your mind?" Jimin shivered when Jungkook kissed up his neck to his jaw.

"I...cannot even imagine...how good my dick will feel buried in your ass. Fuck, Jimin." Jungkook squeezed him harder and slowly rolled his hips up, groaning quietly in Jimin's ear.

Jimin shivered, a revelation hitting him hard across the face.

He really wanted to hear Jungkook more. His voice changed when he moaned and oh god Jimin was turned on by that.

"T-tell me more." Jimin whispered, Jungkook laughing a little.

"You're spoiling me."

"Tell me."

"I want to hear you Jimin, I want to hear you so badly. I want to see my cock go inside you, I want you to love it. I want you to want it. I want you to need it, fuck, I never want another person to ever get to see you. I want you under me so badly." Jungkook exhaled, exasperated. "I want to be inside you so badly."

Jimin blushed pink at Jungkook's confessions. "J-Jungkook..." he bit down on Jungkook's neck quickly instead of moaning as Jungkook's slipped a hand past his waistband. "Jungkook! I- I-"

"Tell me what you want. Cause I want to rip this shirt off of you and get my clothes off."

Jimin put his hand on Jungkook's cheek and kissed him passionately, Jungkook immediately winning the battle of dominance. Jimin couldn't help but move his hips against Jungkook's crotch, moving with the rhythm of the kiss.

Jungkook broke away from it, glaring. "Don't tease me if you don't mean it Jimin."

Jimin kissing him softly, licking his lips playfully. "Who said I don't?"

"You haven't said you do." Jungkook looked like he wanted to be angry, but his eyes showed how happy and excited he was. Jimin could also definitely feel how excited he was.

"...let's get some clothes off." Jimin grinned a little, watching Jungkook's eyes light up before flipping them over, pushing Jimin into the bed as he kissed him.

"You want your shirt on?" Jungkook kept his hands busy; touching all of Jimin's legs, before grabbing and putting them around his waist. Jungkook knelt, holding Jimin's hips and pushing his clothed cock against Jimin's ass. "Mmm!~ oh god Jimin I'm too close for comfort aren't I?

"N-n-no it feels- feels good." Jimin was pleasantly red. "I- I want it on for now, I'm too embarrassed t-to be naked."

"Shame. You're pretty." Jungkook teased him just a little, but couldn't help but continue his movements. Jimin was just too pretty, too cute, Jungkook wanted to hear him, he wanted Jimin to want more, he wanted Jimin's cute little whines and pathetic moans, he really wanted to hear it all. He felt so riled up. Jimin was so good at teasing him.

Jungkook had a lot of patience. But Jimin made him lose almost every single inch of it.

"G-goddamn it." Jimin whispered, turning his head to the side. He covered his mouth with the back of his hand. "C...can...Jungkook I...I've never..." Jimin shut his eyes tight. "I'm still a virgin, I haven't had sex before."

"Mm~ that's alright! We can...prep you then?" Jungkook smiled. If he was allowed to see more of Jimin's half naked body he'd fucking take the opportunity.

"W-what do you mean?" Jimin kept his pout, Jungkook wanting to pull his hand away and simply kiss him forever.

"Well, since you haven't done anything, I'd assume, we can't just have sex. You've gotta prep your body so it doesn't hurt. Usually for a week I think." Jungkook had never been a bottom before, so he was trying to remember. "Plus it would be smart for us to get tested first. I don't care if it's embarrassing, I'm not taking any chances if it's going to hurt you." Jungkook did lean down, kissing Jimin's forehead. "So...would you like to start today?"

"I...yeah." Jimin moved his hand to the back of Jungkook's neck, kissing him softly. "I don't know much, I'm sorry, so please...take care of me..."

Jungkook grinned proudly. "I promise I will." He kissed him again, smiling happily. He loved taking care of Jimin. He got up to get lube from the bathroom. "Get comfortable angel, it's gunna feel odd for a bit." Jungkook imagined all of the ways he could make Jimin come tonight, his head fuzzy and wanting more.

He watched Jimin tug his shirt down, readjusting a couple pillows.

"Oh you're just too beautiful. Too cute, really, you make me want to do many things to you." Jungkook grinned, almost, no, definitely proud of Jimin's boner.

"W-what more could you want to do?" Jimin was still as red as ever, Jungkook getting back on the bed and kissing him roughly.

"Once you get a taste of it...I'm sure you'll understand." Jungkook really wanted more.

Jimin pouted. "But I don't get it."

"I think you'll understand after the first time. If I'm good enough, that is." Jungkook laughed. "I haven't done anything in a long time."

Jimin pouted more. "I don't want to hear about it."

"Aww, jealous?" Jungkook kissed his neck again, while slowly getting Jimin's boxers off. "Don't worry angel, what I used to do is nothing compared to what I want to do to you." He hummed, kissing a hickey into Jimin's neck.

"Jesus Jungkook." Jimin blushed, thinking about how to cover up the love bite.

"I mean it Jimin. Now I'm gunna need you to relax. Okay? Full body, every inch." Jungkook poured lube on his fingers, Jimin blushing but trying. "I'll go slow, mk? Take a deep breath for me angel."

Jimin did.

"Let it go slowly."

Jimin did.

"Good boy. Do it again." Jungkook made Jimin take another deep breath and slowly pushed in a finger while he exhaled. Jimin flinched, choking out a small protest. "Relax relax, I need you to relax. We're gunna go slow and use a lot of lube." Jungkook smiled, watching Jimin's reactions the entire time.

"O-okay." Jimin took another deep breath, letting it out slowly.

"Good, good, keep doing that angel. Relax your body." Jungkook fit himself in between Jimin's legs a little better, watching carefully for any sign of pain from Jimin.

The first time was always more painful than actually good, but hey, anything towards getting to fuck Jimin.

Jimin covered his face a with a free hand, nodding at Jungkook's instructions.

"If you're really serious about having sex...why didn't you tell me sooner?" Jungkook tried to get Jimin comfortable, adding more lube.

"O-oh well, I was just- I- I didn't know...how to bring it up..." Jimin softly bit down on his hand. The feeling of a finger up his ass was entirely new and very weird, and yeah, a little painful. He took another breath. "I just...it's so stupid..."

"What is?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow.

"How embarrassed I get. I want to, I really do, but saying that is just...embarrassing."

"It's your first time! Of course it'll make you nervous. I am...happy that you want to though. I was never gunna ask you, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable." Jungkook slowly circled his finger around, adding more lube while he did.

"B-but how else were we going to t-talk about it?" Jimin pursed his lips.

"You okay?"

Jimin nodded. "Answer my question."

"Aish, I don't know. I didn't want to make you think that I was looking forward to something that you weren't ready for. I don't want to put it on your conscious that way, you know? Cause I'm happy! I'm happy kissing and cuddling and all that shit but I didn't want you to think that I only wanted to have sex." Jungkook sighed heavily.

"But I want to hear your concerns." Jimin pouted. "E-especially when it seems to bug you."

"Yeah but I really didn't want you to worry about it." Jungkook pushed in a little more.

"Ah- b-but I- I don't want you to suffer alone!" Jimin blushed. "You're...you're bad at sharing your problems."

"You already have so much on your mind, I don't want to put more on it." Jungkook leaned down and kissed him softly. "You deserve to relax."

Jimin pulled Jungkook closer before he could move away. "I want to be good to you. And I care about you. So that means I want to hear your concerns and your wants and your happiness and your sadness. Okay? Everything."

Jungkook was shocked for a moment before smiling. "You're an angel." Jungkook kissed him, pressing his finger in deeper and earning an exclamation from Jimin.

"Ow!" Jimin smacked Jungkook's chest.

"Sorry!"

____

Jungkook was streaming tonight, his schedule changing a little bit to cater to Jimin. He'd quickly gotten them an appointment last week, and he'd been helping Jimin prep every night he could, so his mind was definitely elsewhere and not on his stream.

He still had some time left on his stream when Jimin texted him. He was dead at the moment in game, so he answered, still talking with his friends.

Jimin (12:34)
Almost done?

Jungkook smiled a little as he answered.

Jungkook (12:35)
Not really, why?

Jimin (12:37)
Just...want you

Jungkook (12:37)
Which means?

Jimin (12:40)
It's nothing

Jungkook laughed a little to himself, then to a joke one of his friends said.

Jungkook (12:40)
Won't you tell me?

Jimin (12:45)
...fingers aren't long enough...

Jungkook covered his mouth, before rolling his eyes and smiling. The audacity. Jungkook looked at the time, his chat, and then his game.

"I think I have to hop off guys, I've got an early day tomorrow." Jungkook couldn't even reply, his head trying desperately to stay calm while also trying not to blush.

"Again?"

"Yeah, I've got some cool things coming up!" Jungkook smiled a little. "You all know it, but I can't share it live." He tried to make everything normal, while he was dying inside. "Besides, that was a good last round."

"Alright alright, we'll take your excuses." One of them teased, Jungkook laughing.

"I mean it! I have to get up early tomorrow."

"Yet you stream so late. Fine, fine. Good last game, though you did die." One teased again. "Goodnight Jungkook!"

"Goodnight guys!"

The rest said goodnight as well, Jungkook just talking to his chat now.

"Guys, thanks for staying, I always enjoy knowing you're all here for me. I've got something big coming that I'll be preparing for tomorrow, but it won't be coming for a month or so. Tomorrow I'll just be signing some papers for the "big thing" coming." Jungkook smiled. "Until then...I'll be hinting at things."

Jungkook checked his phone quickly for the time.

"But I do have to go now. Please sleep, eat, drink water, and rest well everyone. And I'll see you all next stream. Bye bye!" Jungkook waved to the camera before stopping his stream.

He quickly shut down his computer and cleaned up, grabbing his phone and barging into their room.

He took his shirt off immediately. "Jimin I swear to fucking god you're horrible! You can't just do that shit to me!" Jungkook was pissed and turned on, a complicated duo.

Jimin was under the blanket, Jungkook only able to see his face. He was red and pouting. "So what? You came, didn't you? C-come here, please."

Jungkook laughed in disbelief. "How could you?" He swiped the blanket off the bed and got in between Jimin's legs, grabbing the lube. "You know exactly what you do to me."

"I- I'm- I-" Jimin blushed more and pulled his fingers out, moving onto his hands and knees, his head on the bed. "Just fucking...start."

Jungkook grinned, lubing his fingers and getting two inside. "Oh angel, you've gotten so used to it. Who thought you'd be the one initiating it all? Though I am happy. You're so cute."

"Shut up." Jimin whined, Jungkook scissoring and curling his fingers. Jimin shoved his face into the bed and mumbled.

"Speak up angel, I can't hear you." Jungkook laughed and ran a hand up Jimin's back, pushing his shirt up. He chuckled excitedly as Jimin lifted his head and whimpered. "Oh good boy...such a good boy..."

"W-we've just been teasing the idea for a while a-and I- I couldn't...sleep..." Jimin pouted, gripping the bed sheets. "Fuck."

Jungkook continued, curling his fingers gently to make Jimin moan. "Sorry to keep you waiting. How're you feeling tonight?"

"Good." Jimin huffed. "Could feel better."

Jungkook shivered with a smile. "You're so bold for someone so shy. God I love you." Jungkook pushed Jimin's shirt up more, kissing as he went. "Mm~ you're lovely, you know that?"

"S-shut up." Jimin shivered too, gripping the bed tighter. "You're too confident."

"Of course I am! I know you'd only let someone you really trust get this far, and my god I'm going to soak in every second of it." Jungkook nearly groaned as Jimin shook under him from embarrassment, just slightly. He wasn't a masochist but...

He hummed happily as he sat up, his free hand dragging across Jimin's back delicately before going to his hips.

"Will you take off your shirt for me?"

Jimin mumbled. "You still have your clothes on..."

"I can easily get out of them if you want me to, though you can't even see me." Jungkook tutted. "But this is better for you. You'll be able to hide and not worry as much." He added more lube before adding another finger.

Jimin grabbed a pillow. "I...want to s-see you b-but I'm- t-too embarrassed..."

"Does it feel good?" Jungkook hummed happily.

Jimin nodded. "It does. I'm...I want you to- to feel good too."

"Ah, I will eventually. I like making you feel good, I love every reaction." Jungkook rubbed Jimin's ass. He would never get over it, absolutely never get over how fucking big it was. He spent a lot of time trying not to stare at it, but now...fuck, he was losing his mind. Eventually...he was going to be inside of him, and he was so excited. He wanted to get inside him so badly.

Jimin gave quiet moans, slowly moving his hips higher as Jungkook guided him, his hand on his hip gentle. "Y-you don't h-have to be...so nice..."

"I won't hurt you." Jungkook frowned a little. "Let me be kind."

"T-there's no need to be so c-careful." Jimin spoke quietly. "I don't mind...if you...grab tighter."

Jungkook rolled his eyes back and huffed in disbelief. "You...are such a fucking tease. Since when did you become like this?" Jungkook shoved his fingers inside, curling a little deeper than he usually went, earning a surprised moan from Jimin. "Fuck me. Fuck, you sound so good angel, goddamn it you sound amazing." Jungkook tightened his grip on Jimin's hip. "You feeling up for it tonight?"

Jungkook was hard, that was clear, as his mind and thoughts were filled with Jimin. The Jimin right in front of him, completely displayed before him. His fingers moved in deep and slow, his ass was high in the air just for him, his back dimple showing ever so delicately, god Jungkook was going to lose his mind.

"I-I'm nervous I- I just-"

"That's alright angel, but I gotta uh...take care of myself." Jungkook let go of Jimin's waist and slipped his hand down his sweats.

"N-no don't touch yourself!" Jimin gasped out, looking back at Jungkook. "I-I'm right here, don't fucking touch yourself."

Jungkook groaned at that. "You're so fucking cute." He chuckled, rolling his eyes as he took his hand out. "Then what would you like Jiminie?"

"Ah, I want- I want you." Jimin pouted at him, before hiding his face in the bed again. "I want you."

Jungkook exhaled, exasperated. "You're serious?"

"Yes goddamn it! W-why do you think I've been p-prepping, I want it, I want you." Jimin's little fists tightened, Jungkook smiling as he watched him shake from embarrassment. "So please..."

Jungkook tugged his sweats down. "Fuck Jimin, you're too good at teasing me, god fucking damn it." He didn't really want Jimin to be empty for a second, however selfish it was, but if Jimin was asking for it, then Jimin would get what he wanted. Jungkook would always give him what he wanted.

"Good!" Jimin gasped into the sheets. "Good, I want you to- to do more, I want more."

"Oh Jimin, you're gunna feel so good." Jungkook groaned again at the mere thought of his cock going inside Jimin's ass. He growled as he got his clothes off. "You're gunna feel so good."

Jimin whimpered a little as he pulled his shirt off, Jungkook biting down a grin. "I hope...you feel good too..."

"I'm gunna be honest Jimin, I don't want to hear you be down on yourself. You're gunna be amazing and I love you." Jungkook kissed his back before pulling his fingers out slowly.

"B-but-"

"But I love you and I'm happy with you. Doesn't matter that it's your first time, it's with you, that makes it special." Jungkook kissed his back again before getting off the bed and quickly getting their box of condoms. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jimin whispered. "You'll be nice, right?"

"Of course, unless you say otherwise." Jungkook got his clothes off and got back on the bed, positioning himself. He got the condom on and lubed himself up while he kissed Jimin's back. "Okay?"

"Okay." Jimin took a shaky breath.

"Take a deep breath." Jungkook moved to a better position.

Jimin took a deep breath and slowly let it out.

"Good boy. Again." Jungkook grinned as he watched Jimin's ears turn red. "So cute." He whispered as Jimin took another calming breath. "Mk, imma ask you to relax but I know this is gunna feel different." Jungkook slowly pushed in.

Jimin gasped out. "F-fuck Jungkook p-please go slow."

"Mhm." Jungkook wanted so badly to watch his cock go inside, but he had to watch Jimin's reactions to make sure he wasn't hurting. He had to make sure. He pushed in maybe a third of the way before stopping. "Alright tell me when I can go more."

Jimin desperately tried to relax. He took small breaths before becoming embarrassed. He could feel Jungkook. He could- Jungkook was inside him. He- Jimin whined a little and buried his face into the pillow he'd grabbed. "Mk. You can move." He mumbled, knowing Jungkook probably wouldn't be able to hear it.

"You sure?"

Jimin nodded. "Yeah.

Jungkook pushed halfway, pausing again. "Good?"

"Keep going."

"Mk." Jungkook continued, pausing once Jimin flinched. "Okay let's wait. This is different from my fingers, sorry. I can only prep you as much as I can." Jungkook leaned down and kissed more of his back, his hands holding his waist softly, before they went to rub at his thighs and ass. Jungkook grinned a little in excitement. "You're so beautiful angel, you're so so beautiful. I love everything about you."

"Y-you just like my ass." Jimin tried to tease him, though his head was still trying to comprehend the new feeling.

"Oh no, I love everything." Jungkook laughed. "I love every single thing about you. You're crazy to think I don't." He kept his hands moving, sometimes to his back, but mostly on his waist, thighs, and ass. "Mm~"

Jungkook wanted to move but he knew he had to wait for Jimin to adjust. It was different, he knew that, but god...he just wanted to start moving.

"God fuck, I- Jungkook." Jimin whimpered into the pillow, Jungkook humming excitedly.

"You sound so pretty Jimin." Jungkook exhaled shakily. He wanted to move so bad. He wanted to hear Jimin be louder, be even more pathetic, be putty-like because of him. Oh ho ho, Jungkook was losing it. He bit down a grin as his head continued to have dirty thoughts. "So so pretty..."

Jimin whimpered a little louder, his thighs shaking just a little bit.

It was driving Jungkook insane. "Jimin..." Jungkook spoke lowly.

"I- I'm- I-" Jimin whined. "I'm- Jungkook-"

"Can I move or are you just giving me grief?" Jungkook really wanted to move.

"I- I'm- it's so d-different I'm..."

"Can I move?" Jungkook kept rubbing Jimin's hips, watching his ears turn red. He wondered if his chest was red too.

"...yeah." He whispered, holding his pillow tightly.

"Mk angel, tell me if it's too much." Jungkook pushed in slowly, still watching Jimin to make sure he could know when to stop.

He bottomed out, Jimin gasping out at the feeling. Jungkook continued to bite down his grin as he leaned down to kiss at Jimin's neck. He could feel Jimin's thighs shaking a little more, the idea making his ego bigger.

Jimin was perfect.

He kept kissing Jimin's neck, then started to mark the back of it, hearing Jimin whine and whimper into the pillow as quietly as he could. Jungkook knew he was embarrassed, but the idea of him hiding them made his mind wander far and wide.

How long could Jimin hold his voice? Would he cover his mouth if given the chance? Mm, would he try to be quiet even if they were alone in the car? Mmm, Jungkook had to stop thinking ahead.

He continued to make marks on Jimin's back, occasionally biting softly. He wanted Jimin to look in the mirror and see spots all over, wanted him to yell at him for biting him everywhere, wanted Jimin to embarrassingly show him his neck, wanted to mark him even more. Jungkook bit his neck when he heard Jimin exhale a shaky moan.

"Oh angel." Jungkook groaned. "You're such a tease and you have no idea. Your little sounds only make me want to hear you more. Imagine if you were loud, I think you'd feel a little better instead of hiding it."

"I...I can't..." Jimin whispered. "I'm- I- this is-"

Jungkook hummed, finding more clear spots to kiss hickeys into. "But you sound so pretty Jimin, you have no idea."

"I- I'm...ah." Jimin put his forehead to the pillow, letting his voice be heard better. "I'm...I'm good you can- if you go slowly-"

"Okay!" Jungkook excitedly started to move, moving back up and holding his hips a little tighter than usual. He slowly pulled out, Jimin gasping out a moan before he slowly moved back in, Jimin whimpering more. "Mmm~"

"G-good, you're- you feel g-good." Jimin whispered, his fists tight. "Hah~" he panted quietly, still getting used to the feeling. He really did feel good though, and he wanted Jungkook to feel like he was doing good. If Jimin could make Jungkook happy then he'd do it. He liked hearing his voice? He could do that. "Ah! J-Jungkook, please..." he whined a little.

Jungkook hummed in response, busy watching his cock go inside Jimin's ass. "Please what angel?" He felt amazing. Jimin's thighs were pleasantly shaking while he moved slowly, it taking everything inside Jungkook to not pound him at the moment.

"A-anything." Jimin whined more, before closing his mouth and whimpering.

Jungkook laughed a little in delirium. "What?" He kept moving slowly, one hand sliding from Jimin's hips to his ass, grabbing a little roughly. "What um- what do you want?" He snapped his attention back to Jimin. His mind was thinking about Jimin's ass taking him so well, but, this was ultimately for Jimin.

"I- I don't know, why would I know?" Jimin snapped at him, Jungkook laughing.

"Well, there's no need to be so rude Jiminie, I'm only trying to understand you." Jungkook teased him, smiling wide. Jimin was beautiful. "So...what do you want?" Jungkook continued to grope Jimin's ass, feeling Jimin shaken under him. Oh it was just lovely.

"You can go...a little faster." Jimin whimpered more, Jungkook groaning as he started to move faster.

"Oh fucking hell Jimin, I'm gunna lose it. I'm thinking about so many things." He growled a little as he tried to find a good pace without hurting Jimin.

"What- ah- what more could you th-think about?" Jimin gave quiet moans, Jungkook's cock able to reach further than his fingers. It was new and a little squirm-ish, but...he...liked it. It felt...really good. A different kind of good.

"So much angel, you really have no idea." Jungkook chuckled, his hand running back to his waist slowly, holding him tightly. "The possibilities are endless."

Jimin moaned out, then bit the pillow in embarrassment.

"Oh my fucking god angel, you sound so fucking good." Jungkook groaned again, slamming into him on accident. "Shit-"

Jimin moaned louder, pressing his cheek into the pillow so Jungkook could hear him. "A-again!" His arms hugged the pillow, his back arching a little as his ass rose. "Oh fuck again, please!" He shut his eyes tight, panting out a small, pathetic whine.

Jungkook moaned as he started to move harder, Jimin's glorious moans making him act up. "Jesus fuck Jimin, you feel like heaven."

Jimin gave a small whimper before he slowly widened his legs. "P-please- please that feels g-good."

Jungkook could've came on the spot just from Jimin's requests alone. Just knowing that Jimin was willing to be so ready for him, fuck. "Oh sweetheart you feel good."

"Mmm!~" Jimin tried to stop being so loud, becoming embarrassed all over again.

"No no, don't hide it, you sound beautiful." Jungkook huffed a little, wondering why Jimin would try to be quiet now.

"B-but-"

"No, you sound beautiful." Jungkook didn't know how to explain it any better than that.

"Mmm~" Jimin whimpered.

Jungkook continued his new pace, Jimin moaning out louder.

"Good boy." Jungkook teased him, but Jimin was ready to indulge him.

"I like when you call me that." Jimin spoke in a pout, embarrassed but done with Jungkook's teasing. He just...wanted it all. "I like when you tell me I'm doing good."

Jungkook laughed in disbelief. "Well, you're doing so good, really. You're taking me so well Jimin...your ass is perfect, I can't get over how fucking hot you are.

"Mmm~" Jimin smiled a little before he moaned out again, Jungkook continuing his pace. "Good, I- I'm- you feel good. I feel good."

"Perfect sweetheart, perfect." Jungkook continued, Jimin moaning loudly before blushing more.

"Ah! Ah- ah, Jungkook ah!-" Jimin whimpered as he raised his ass more, pushing back against Jungkook. "Please- please, I'm close Jungkook, I'm so close." He whined, starting to move back against Jungkook repeatedly.

Jungkook grinned, proud and happy. "Good! Oh such a good boy, fuck." His hands tightened on Jimin's hips, rather close as well. "You're already a natural, I told you you were a quick learner." Jungkook teased him a little, one hand brushing his hair back before he sped up a little.

"I- Jungkook- Jungkook I-" Jimin gasped, trying to catch his breath as Jungkook's pace became relentless. "I'm close, Jungkook-"

"Come on then, be a good boy, be loud for me." Jungkook couldn't wipe the grin off his face; he was too happy and proud of how comfortable Jimin was to be able to make such noises in front of him. He'd absolutely never forget this.

"Ah!~" Jimin moaned louder as he came, panting immediately afterwards, his legs shaking as Jungkook held his hips up so he could finish. "Goddamn it Jungkook- fuck- fuck-" Jimin shook as Jungkook continued.

"Don't worry, 'm almost there." Jungkook mumbled, still smiling as he watched his cock slide inside Jimin, that alone enough to make him close. "You're so fucking hot Jimin, I can't handle it at all, god fucking damn it." Jungkook continued to curse as he came, shuddering as he tried to calm down. He felt high. He was on such a high.

"J-Jungkook I- I want to k-kiss you." Jimin whined, pouting a little as he tried to catch his breath.

Jungkook also tried to catch his breath. "Gimmie a minute, I gotta- gotta calm down, fuck." He leaned down and kissed at Jimin's neck, then his jaw, then his the corner of his mouth. "You're beautiful Jimin. From every angle too."

"Oh shut up." Jimin laughed tiredly. "Like I said...you just like my ass."

"It's beautiful too, okay? Besides...you took me so well, what can I say? I'm in heaven."

"Mm~" Jimin hummed a little. "You're good."

"Thank you! I'm hoping to get better."

"Oh yeah?"

"Mhm. With your help, of course. Why, if I get better then I can hear you be even louder?"

"Louder?" Jimin blushed.

"Mhm! Wait till I find your prostate, then you'll be begging for more."

"I do not beg."

"Dunno, you said please quite a lot." Jungkook nipped his ear. "It's cute, just so you know. You make me want to give you everything."

"Good. I like when you listen to me."

"You're in charge." Jungkook kept kissing before he slowly pulled out. Jimin winced in oversensitivity, laying on his stomach as Jungkook puttered around to clean them. "You should go to the bathroom Jiminie, I'll clean the bed."

"Mmmm..." Jimin didn't feel like getting up.

"It's for your health."

"Fine fine." Jimin smiled a little at Jungkook's concern.

They cleaned up, Jimin getting new sheets, Jungkook making the new bed.

They got some clothes on before getting in bed, Jimin cuddling up to Jungkook.

"You're...really a sweetheart Jungkook." Jimin kissed Jungkook's arm. He'd gotten to love every single tattoo of his. "Fuck you for being so good though, that's not fair." He laughed a little tiredly.

"What can I say, I tried my hardest to make you feel good." Jungkook laughed a little too. "You had me riled up as soon as you texted, I wasn't 'specting you to say yes tonight."

"I just- I- I'd had enough wondering. You know? I wanted to know, and I- well, I can't say I don't want to know more." Jimin embarrassedly turned into Jungkook's chest to hide himself. Though touching his bare chest didn't help, however appreciated it was.

They were both disgustingly comfortable being rather clothes less at the moment, having only put on boxers and Jimin some shorts. Their bare legs intertwined as their bare chest touched.

Jimin didn't hate it, rather, he thought it felt nice. Jungkook was a bad influence on him.

"Well, I'll never turn you down. If you want it you'll get it." Jungkook laughed, rubbing Jimin's back. "I'm a pushover for you."

"Mmm~ good. I like that. It feels right." Jimin kissed Jungkook's chest.

"Leave a mark?"

"I- okay." Jimin blushed a little before kissing a small hickey onto Jungkook's chest.

"Mmm~ more?"

"Too tired. I can appreciate you in the morning when it isn't so fucking early."

Jungkook laughed again. "Okay okay, fair. I love you Jimin. You know that?"

"I love you too Jungkook." Jimin kissed his chest again. "I'll get my kisses in the morning, okay?"

"Fine by me."

They slept like rocks, not stirring once the whole night.

Jimin held a large livestream with the group. They were finally doing it; a charity livestream where Jimin would announce a big thing, and then would have his hair cut live, and his hair dyed live. He would get piercings and tattoos privately with Jungkook another day.

The other six had agreed to join, each of them having a money count to when their hair would get dyed. Jimin was first, if they reached $100K, Jungkook next at $300K, and so on.

And at 1 million viewers, Jimin was going to announce their big project.

They laughed and played games, a section for video games, a section for pool and other table games, and a section for board games to entertain for the long livestream ahead of them.

Jimin excitedly watched their viewership reach 1 million.

"Well, a deals a deal. Everyone...I got a new sponsor for modeling! And...for this upcoming magazine, me and Jungkook are both the leading models for pride month!" Jimin happily clapped his hands.

He was so happy to share! It was only a week away from June, and he was so happy to have been working with this new modeling company secretly. A new diet which catered to his body, letting him test out the new waters with more revealing clothes, and hearing his ideas throughout the year instead of just one month.

And to have the photo shoot with Jungkook this time, well...it was way more fun but he never got a full nights rest when they got home.

"You'll be very happy to know that our photos are together and to spread awareness and more love." Jungkook put his arm around Jimin's shoulder. "I would love to show you some sneak peaks but I can tease the idea instead!" Jungkook started to lift Jimin's shirt up, in which he ended up getting his hand slapped.

Jimin blushed and covered his face.

"Exactly!" Jungkook grinned happily.

"Woah Jimin, you took off your shirt?" Taehyung joined in the teasing.

"N-no! But it is teased." He blushed more. "Anyways-"

"What's a tease for Jungkook? Let's be fair." Yoongi called Jungkook out, Jungkook smiling.

"You're sly hyung." Jungkook shook his head at him.

"Well? Show us!" Hoseok chimed in, smiling happily as he and Yoongi played Jenga.

"Alright let's see." Jungkook rolled up his sleeves and brushed his hair back, making a silly face along with it.

Seokjin laughed. "Besides the face I think he's not kidding!"

"Even with the face it's believable." Namjoon teased.

"Well, sleeveless Jungkook and abs from Jimin? I think it'll be a magazine worth buying everyone!" Taehyung nodded, helping them sell their case.

"Oh absolutely. Exclusives right there, we'll all have to buy it!" Jin continued.

Jimin put his arm around Jungkook's waist. "I'm happy to make this dream come true, especially with you." He looked up at him.

"Thank you Jiminie. You mean the world to me." He whispered it, smiling, knowing his mic picked it up anyways. He glanced at the camera before grabbing Jimin's waist and back, tipping him backwards and kissing him.

"And that's enough pda!" Taehyung moved in front of them, blocking them from the camera, waving his hands to distract. "Enough!"

Jungkook let Jimin stand and breathe, a little dazed. "You're insufferable!"

Jungkook simply laughed, Jimin's anger fading quickly into a smile. "Yeah, but I'm yours."

"Enough!" Jin yelled at them.

"Boo!" Hoseok booed them "offstage."

"Yeah, keep it at home, come on." Yoongi scrunched his nose. "I win."

"Fuck off." Hoseok sighed and rebuilt the tower.

Jimin simply laughed, Jungkook just looking at him.

They were all happy, but most importantly, Jimin was happy, and they all he'd ever wanted.

Again thank you to @LyraRainbow it was really fun to write! I had so much creative liberty I swear I blacked out and then woke up and it was done except a month passed.
