"What about this?" Jungkook tilts the colour palette book towards Jimin, points at one of the colours and glances at him. "This suits you?"

Jimin takes the book from his hands and looks at it himself. "It's baby blue and pale yellow." He says tracing his fingers on the colors, noticing how it contrasts with his own. Enhances his personality. He believed Jungkook might help him with this.

"I agree." Jungkook suggests. "This is the one we should go for." He leaves and goes back to his desk, pulls a bunch of flowers from vase and comes back with them. Jimin notices they are yellow buttercups.

It makes Jimin confused. Jungkook hesitantly smiles, "It's for the shoot, the yellow flowers." He chuckles and places them in front of Jimin who stands with his hands in his pocket, smiling. "Wasn't aware you had those."

Jungkook unwraps a white roll of paper and spreads it on the wooden table. He places the buttercups on the white sheet. Scrambles them, picks up a cutter from the shelf nearest to him and starts removing the stems. "I'm always ready with props. It's your lucky day, brought them just yesterday because they looked beautiful."

He comes closer to take a look. "I can never understand a photographer." He picks up a cut of buttercup, brings it to his nose to smell its fragrance, adds, "They find everything beautiful."

Jungkook lets out a chortle, to which Jimin stops and looks at him. "Am I wrong?" He asks, resting the flower among the other bunch as Jungkook shakes his head. "We capture only things we find beautiful."

Jimin smiles. Nods. Gets away and walks to the other side of Jungkook to see if he can help him with anything. "I understand the yellow. What about blue? Thought something?" He asks, and Jungkook hums, "I got a bathtub. It would make a perfect blue."

Jimin flicks his eyes at Jungkook, who is busy with the buttercups. He stares at him. "If that's what you're planning on, sure." Jungkook returns him a smile. "The photos will come out great. Don't worry."

"I'm not worried. Came to you for a reason." Jimin drops off the cut stems in another empty container. Although the stems are supposed to be thrown in bin he imagines Jungkook appreciating them too. Collects them all and places it all together.

"A reason, right." Jungkook presses his words, sounds disappointed, "I had not anticipated you'd ever see me again," he utters, his voice a little softer, knows he shouldn't bring what he's about to say but still tries, wants to apologize, "—after you know whatever happened with us in school it shouldn't—"

"Of course." Jimin stiffens, cuts him. Doesn't wanna talk about it. "I had to come to the best of photographers in the town. Had to find the best one. It's you after all." He sluggishly smiles and Jungkook doesn't question him about changing the subject. Felt he didn't like it.

He just nods, eyes lowered to his fingers collecting the flowers together. "I find myself lucky enough too to have you here. It's the Park Jimin after all." His eyes falter at the Vogue, Elle, GQ and Harper's Bazaar magazines with Jimin's front cover spread on his table. "You're quite popular, you know."

Jimin pulls out a chair from underneath the table and takes his seat. "Thanks." He politely answers, ends the conversation. Just waits for Jungkook to finish with the flowers, deciding to look around until he finishes cutting them.

There are not much colours in his studio. It's all white. From walls to the floor beneath. It's the light stands, and the curtain stands that brings black to the room. Continues to look at the plain walls with his gaze, only to stop at Jungkook.

He's wearing a white too. It's an oversized shirt. Covering him up. Black cargos beneath with big black boots. His hair is tied in a lose small pony. His baby hair grazing his neck. A bandana tied on his forehead. Few bangs falling on his eyes.

Makes Jimin go back to the days back when Jungkook wished to grow his hair long but couldn't. School rules too strictly implied.

They were best friends once. He dare say, maybe more than that.

Yeah, were.

If it wasn't for the contract, he wouldn't have come back to Busan to get photographed by none other than Jeon Jungkook. The fate has brought him back to him. The only reason why he hesitated at first to come here.

He had no problems with Jungkook's talent. Knew none could compete with his skills. Has seen it with his own eyes. Would have felt lucky to get photographed by him if it wasn't for the past they shared.

Too bad. He's here until the contract ends and Jungkook's staying till then. The contract signed long back. Can't take it back. Has to stick with it. Has no other options. Knows it will be hard, but it was worth it.

Honestly, he liked the fact that it was Jungkook who was here to help him with the shoot. Could confidently say he was making it big if it involved him.

"Shall we?" By the time Jimin collected all of his thoughts, Jungkook was done with the flowers. Collects them together on a flat surface. Jimin gets the hint and gets up.

"Where should I change?" He removes his coat as Jungkook leads the way. "There's a changing room. You can take off your shirt. I'll prepare the bath until then." He points towards the door and heads further into a room.

Few moments later Jimin gets out and knocks at the door Jungkook's been in since he's gone to change. Faint voice of Jungkook comes through the door calling him in. As soon as Jimin gets in, he's witnessing dark blue lights enlightening the entire room. A light stand above a round enormous bathtub with yellow petals floating. A showcase aside in the corner with jewels and accessories.

The floor underneath the bathtub adorned with a plush, deep blue rug that feels soft underfoot, adding a touch of comfort and luxury. Scattering around are a few oversized cushions in various shades of blue and yellow.

Along a wall, a large, ornate mirror with a glided yellow frame that reflects the entire scene. A dressing table draped with rich blue and yellow props. Small lanterns emitting soft glow.

Lastly in the corner of the room a tall vase filled with fresh yellow buttercups. A matching blue armchair right beside it.

Jungkook is busy with the camera, focused. "You can wear anything you like from the showcase or dresser." He informs, adjusting his lens. There's faint music in the background. Soothing and soul touching. Candles lit for background view.

Jimin knew Jungkook was good. But this was spectacular. And just within few minutes he arranged all the contrasting colours. His imagination always went beyond his ability to do so. He was just too good. Exceed in anything he wanted. A charm none can match or replace.

Jimin decides not to give it more thought. Gets to the dresser and picks out a few silver rings for his fingers, rummages through the box of necklaces and finds a thin pretty pearl chain. Picks it up only to see it slip through his fingers.

Grabs it before it falls and catches sight of something in a drawer half closed. Something similar he's seen. Something that belonged in the past. He frowns, opens the drawer only to find the silver bracelet with a tiny padded lock with an initial J with the year 2008. The one he brought. A pair. In remembrance of their friendship.

His eyes widen. Heart catching up. It surprises him to know that he still has it. Thought he threw it off, but it's still intact—which was never broken.

Jungkook looks through his camera and angles it on Jimin just for a checkout and his eyes only widen when he finds his bracelet in Jimin's hand.

"Jimin!" Jungkook quickly exclaimed, swiftly grabbing the bracelet to prevent him from recognizing it. But Jimin does.

He doesn't get it. Looks at him perplexed. Hands spread empty. "Didn't you throw it?" He asks in a whisper, which only makes Jungkook shut his eyes tight in disbelief.

He should've just left it back at home instead of forgetting to take it off while he knew Jimin was coming over.

"Jungkook?" Jimin asks. "Can you explain what's happening?" He steps forward and Jungkook this time meets his eyes. Looks at him fully. Faltering, slipping and dying at same time.

Jimin's hair slicked backwards. Wet and neat. His skin shining amidst the blue hues. Making them look glassy and beautiful. He's still such a weak silly human.

The siren eyes that are darkened in shades of black that only intimidates Jungkook.

Jimin meant past. And he didn't like how things unfolded between them, too. There should have been a happy ending, but regardless of the situation, it was still not enough. Them together.

"You owe me an explanation, Jungkook." Jimin lunges forward, looks fiercely in his eyes. Has got his hands almost pull on his collar. Is hurting. Feeling like all the emotions he's suppressed are rushing back like a waterfall.

He's close. Too close. Only makes Jungkook feel all weird again. Like if Jimin gets a little closer and he'll fall on his knees. But Jimin keeps the distance. Expects Jungkook to answer.

And Jungkook gets to it. Places his camera on the nearest table. Envelopes his fingers around Jimin's fingers clutching his collar, stiffening him up during the process. Relaxes them down. Finds his shirt off that moment. Of course he has it off.

Jungkook's eyes glance down at Jimin's lips, then to his eyes. Breathes heavily. "The bracelet..." he starts, eyes on him, "You're right, I never threw it."

Jimin clicks his jaw. Feels a pinch in his heart. Feels like the life he's been living since has snatched from him. Like, how easy is it for him to confess to that?

He really doesn't wanna fight, but there was so much happening, he can't hold back himself.

"You should take a seat." Jungkook leans forward, holds a chair right behind Jimin. Lips almost ghosting his. Jimin's skin appearing with unwanted warmth when it brushes against Jungkook's hand.

Jungkook steps back before any occurrence–causing a regret in both the parties–he did not want. Raises his jaw towards the chair he pulled, asking him to take a seat and places himself at the end of the bathtub slap. "Are you sure about this?" He asks to Jimin who's taking a seat. Eyes still hurt.

"Well, your face is still intact." He crosses his legs, maintaining his posture and charm behind the anger he's piling up with. Composed as always. "That's enough to make you talk, right?"

Jungkook tightens his jaw, agrees. "Right." Glances down at his fist, unfolds it to reveal the bracelet. Gazes up at Jimin and starts.

"Let's go back to the beginning of 2008, shall we?"

And Jimin understands where this was going. Making it more eager for him. Lifts his chin. Eyes on the bracelet. "Please."
