how it all began
Rose's pov
I was in John's lab working on a design for a new trap I had in mine, now you're probably thinking. How the hell did John Kramer recruit a 12 year old to help him well it all started about 2 years ago.
I was in a bad state of my life, I was diagnosed with a liver disorder and if I didn't have part of my liver removed soon, I'd die . My parents who were drug addicts didn't care if I lived or died to them I was a waste of money. So my 50 year old neighbor John Kramer , offered to pay for my surgery. So he did and I was adopted by him. At first I didn't know that he was jigsaw, but one day I was put to the test in one of the traps, yeah cruel to do to a 10 year old who almost died , but I survived the trap and John reveled himself to me . Of course I was angry at first but over time. I started to understand his out look on life and from then on. We worked together.
Present day
I was not happy to work with Mark Hoffman, or Amanda Young . They do nothing but bicker, it's just annoying. I put my headphones on and started playing ' poor unfortunate souls by the Jonas brothers' it was my only way to relax. After all when you work for a serial killer, life is crazy. " Will both of you shut the hell up , I'm trying to work!" I shout at the two of them. John looked at me upset at my outburst. I packed up my bag and went home . I entered the home I live in with John , I was thinking about a way to make Hoffman and Young to learn thier lesson. So I drew up a few traps and went to bed. The next day I decided to take a day off and work on my other hobby of singing , John enjoyed when I sang it brought comfort to him. " Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing "Hallelujah"
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter what you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelu-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelu-
Hallelujah" I sang as I played my guitar in my room. I always felt guilty kinda for the people that died in the traps. But on the other hand , they deserve it . John told me that one day , my judgement may come. I don't know what he meant by that but I blew it off.. as the week went on John was getting worse . I was doing everything I could to get him the money for his cancer treatment.
Monday April 17th
I was riding the bus to school, I went to a prep school since John wants me to get a good education and make something of myself. Which I enjoy, I couldn't ask for a better life and recently I've been collecting money for the fire department , I do a lot of good deeds to make sure that I make John proud.
About 3 hours later around lunch , I was walking to my next class when I heard my friend Lilly saying " stop it leave me alone" , I peeked into a nearby classroom and saw her being molested by my creepy as hell history teacher, I snapped a few pictures and ran in to help her. I managed to get her away from him, we got to the office where the police, her parents, and John were called .
" What happened here" rigg asked me . I explained everything I saw and handed him the pictures I took . John took me home , I could tell he was a little upset with me " Rose, I'm not mad at you but upset that you put yourself in danger " he said in his usual monotone voice. I hung my head down in shame as I felt like he was right " but I'm proud of you for defending your friend and putting a child molester behind bars" he adds
