Kie's POV:

It's been a few days since JJ's birthday and the pogues haven't said much. I haven't gone to the Chateau and I avoided them at school. Luckily, I had JJ to hang out with. I'm happy that he was on my side and I wasn't totally alone. I still couldn't believe we were dating. We didn't even try to hide it from the pogues.

JJ would hold my hand and walk me to class and he took me out to dinner on a real date and posted a picture on Instagram. It had officially been a week and John B invited me over to the Chateau. 

I didn't want to go, but JJ said he'd be there with me. We showed up together and it was just John B there.

"Hey, so I said some shit..." He started but I didn't let him finish

"Yeah, you did and your prank wasn't fucking funny. What happened between me and JJ is our business and no one else gets to have an opinion" I said pissed off and walking out the door because I was still so upset

I had no desire to talk to the pogues, I told JJ that he could do whatever he wanted. I wasn't going to be mad at him for hanging out with his friends and I meant it. But he said he was pissed at the things they said to me and he was on my side. 

Sarah would look at me as we passed each other in the hall and I wouldn't say anything. Pope hasn't even tried to talk to me. He's asked JJ to hang but JJ told him no. JJ and I were out on my parent's boat when the HMS pulled up beside us. 

John B, Pope, and Sarah were all on the boat. 

"What do you guys want?" I asked

"We didn't know you guys were out here, but I just stopped to apologize again" John B said

"Yeah, I'm sorry for what I said. Kie, you've got to understand where we were coming from. You deserve the best and well, JJ has always just wanted someone to mess around with. I was scared about him breaking your heart"

"We weren't even dating and none of you were involved when he was fucking me therefore, you don't get an opinion"

"Jayge, let's go" I said to my boyfriend

"Stop acting like a bitch" John B said

"Oh, I'm the bitch? You're the one who called me a slut so fuck off" I said shoving him off the boat and into the water

"You did not just do that" Sarah said to me

"What are you gonna do about it" I challenged her

She rolled her eyes and John B got back in the boat and she said, "Let's go, John B"

They left and JJ looked at me and he said, "He totally deserved that..."

"I hate that our friends are making such a big deal about this, about us. Why can't they just be happy?" I asked with tears in my eyes

"I don't know, but it doesn't matter because you make me happy and I hope that I make you happy"

"You do" I said as he kissed me

A few days later, John B came to my house and he was alone. I went to shut the door, but he blocked it with his foot and said, "I was a total dick to you and I'm sorry"

"Yeah, you were... You don't get to call me a slut because I slept with JJ and you don't get to call me a bitch because you don't like what I did"

"You're right, I have no excuse for what I did... I was acting like a kook and I'm sorry. I hope you can forgive me and I promise to make it up to you..."

"Why'd you do it?"

"Because it totally caught me off guard, I pranked myself... JJ is my brother and we both know his history with girls isn't the best and when I heard you two hooked up, I got worried that you might turn into just another one of his hook-ups ... But I was so wrong, I've never seen JJ or you happier and I hope that we can all be friends again"

"Thank you for apologizing... I know it's gotta be weird to find out we were together, but you guys were never meant to find out like that"

"I know, that's my bad... For the record, I'm glad you're not pregnant now but if you were or when you are in the future, I think you and JJ will be the best parents and you kids will be lucky to have you"

I hugged John B and said, "Thank you, our future kids are lucky to have their uncle John B too"

"Wanna go grab some ice cream?" He asked

"Yeah" I said as we walked to the beach to get ice cream and John B paid

We sat on the beach talking and we even laughed about how I shoved him off the boat. John B looked at me and said, "Kie, if he breaks your heart just know that I'll kick his ass for you"

He was half joking but half serious too. The next day, John B texted me and told me to come over as Sarah wanted to talk to me. She was sobbing when I walked in because she felt horrible. We talked for almost two hours and she explained how she was sorry and she was just worried about JJ breaking my heart and it breaking up the group but she said she already did that by being such a bitch. I forgave her and then she went and apologized to JJ too.

The last one to apologize was Pope. He apologized to us together and said he'd support us, but he didn't think it was a good idea. He was worried about one of us getting hurt, which I understood. He also gave us the talk because of the whole prank pregnancy test thing. 

It took a few weeks, but things finally went back to normal. I had my friends back and I still had the best boyfriend who was also my best friend, I had the best of both worlds.

At the age of twenty-three, JJ and I were still dating and I got pregnant with our first child. It's funny because JJ's birthday was coming up and we were getting together with the pogues to celebrate later today. 

"Jayge, I have a present for you before we go" I said handing him a box wrapped in paper

He tore off the paper and opened the box and he was speechless. He grabbed the two tests that were both positive along with the ultrasound.

"Holy shit, is this real? Are you pregnant?"

"Yeah" I said nervously but he got the biggest smile on his face

"I love you and our little baby so fucking much" He said kissing my lips and spinning me around and after he put me down he kissed my stomach which melted my heart

We decided to tell the pogues and we were going to wrap the positive pregnancy test up like John B did a few years ago as a joke that caused the huge fight.

We went to the party and hung out and had fun with our friends. It came time to open gifts and JJ opened mine and he smiled again.

"What are you smiling about?" Sarah asked

JJ picked up the pregnancy test and said, "The fact that I'm going to be a dad"

"WHAT?!" John B asked

"You're really pregant?" Sarah asked

"Yes, I told JJ this morning" I said 

The pogues all hugged me and congratulated us. They were so excited for us to be parents and to meet out little baby Maybank.
