JJ's POV:

It was a stupid rainy Saturday and we were so bored at the Chateau. John B was taking a nap and Pope was busy studying. I was so bored and I texted Kie.

JJ: What's up?

Kie: About to head to the mainland to pick up my dress for Midsummers

JJ: Can you pick me up? I'm bored

Kie: Be there in 5

Kie pulled up and I hopped in the front seat as she drove to the ferry. We got on and it was a thirty minute ride. We laughed and joked around and then she drove to some store and we went inside. She had alterations done to it and had to try it on quick before she bought it.

She went back to the fitting room and I followed. I waited outside and she called, "JJ"

I walked over the the curtain and she opened it. Her dress was silky and purple. She turned around and asked, "Will you zip me?"

I carefully zipped up her dress and she walked out and some lady came and showed her the things they changed. The lady asked Kie, "Anything else you need changed?"

"No, it's perfect" She said and they lady left as Kie went in the dressing room

"Need help taking it off?" I smirked

She gave me the middle finger and shut the curtain behind her. She came out a few minutes later in her normal clothes holding the dress. She brought it up front and the lady put it in a bag and Kie handed her credit card over. The dress was almost six hundred dollars. Kooks are insane.

We left the store and Kie got us food. We ate and it was still raining. We got back on the ferry and usually, we'd get out of the car and smoke a joint but it was storming pretty bad so we stayed in the car.

"Attention all ferry riders, due to the storm there might be a slight delay"

"Great..." Kie said sarcastically

I kicked off my boots and out my feet up on the dash just because I know it would piss Kie off.

"You're going to make my car smell, your feet are disgusting"

"Just getting comfy" I said relaxing into the seat

"This is a bad fucking storm" She said

"No shit" I said looking at the dark sky

"Fuck off"

"See it's a good thing I came with you, so I can protect you"

"You wish"

We sat in silence for a few seconds. Before she let out a sigh and said, "This is so fucking boring"

"I can think of a few things we could do to pass the time" I smirked

She looked at me like she was actually considering it for a second. I caught that look and said, "Shit, you were actually thinking about it"

"No, I wasn't. I was thinking about the fact that only you would want to have sex in a car on a ferry"

"Don't lie to me, Kie... The idea kinda turns you on too, doesn't it?"

She rolled her eyes and said, "Just shut up and kiss me"

I leaned in and gently kissed her lips. She immediately pulled back and I knew this was too good to be true. I moved back and looked door feeling stupid for even trying.

"Jayge, you can't tell anyone about this"

"Didn't plan on if" I said softly as she leaned back in and kissed me

We we're making out and then she broke the kiss and crawled into the backseat. I followed behind her and she sat on my lap straddling me as we made out. She lifted my shirt off and she gently touched my chest as we continued to make out. I took off her shirt and then her bra and this was actually happening.

We lost track of time because we were interrupted by the announcement that we were arriving to the Outer Banks. We both quickly got dressed and got back up front. The windows were all steamy and Kie was so embarrassed. I drew a heart on the window and put
J + K on the inside of the heart.

Kie drove back to the Chateau and I grabbed her Stanley cup that had water in it and took a sip.

"Gross, don't drink out of cup" She said

I chuckled and laughed at her and said, "You just made out with me. We've already swapped spit"

"I guess you're right" She laughed

We got back and Pope and a John B asked where we went. Kie said we just rain to the mainland to pick up her Midsummers dress and we got food. We hung out for the rest of the night and acted like nothing had happened.

Midsummers rolled around and I saw Kie in that dress again. It brought back all the memories from that day. Midsummers was halfway over and I was working it. Kie walked by me and asked, "Wanna get out of here?"

"You mean like...?" She didn't let me finish my sentence before she replied

"Yes, I mean like that... All these kooks and the only one I want to go home with is you"
