JJ's POV:

Kie and I have been sleeping today and doing other sexual things together for about two weeks. We never really put a label on it but it was casual and serious at the same time.

John B and Pope still had no idea that anything was going on between us. It was a blessing and curse. It was getting to the point where I had to pay attention to what I was doing and saying around the pogues because I didn't want to slip up and expose Kie or us or whatever the hell we were.

Tonight, there was a party at the Boneyard and we were all there hanging out. Kie was tipsy and she had been hanging around this guy, Matt. She was now dancing with him and grinding her ass on him. My fists balled up, I clenched my jaw, and Pope asked, "You alright?"

"Yeah, but why is Kie dancing like that with Matt?"

"Why do you care?" John B asked giving me the look

"I don't care but he's a total player"

"So are you" Pope chipped in

"Fuck off, you know what I mean" I rolled my eyes as I continued to watch Kie and Matt

His hands were all over her body and he was kissing her neck and biting her ear lobe slightly. I lost it. I stormed over there and grabbed Kie by her arm, probably with a little too much force which I hate myself for.

"JJ, what the hell?!" She yelled as I practically drug her away from the party

We reached the woods and she stopped walking and yanked her arm away from my grip.

"What is your problem?"

"My problem is watching you dance with Matt like that"

"I was just dancing with him, what's the big deal?"

"The big deal is you're rubbing up against another guys junk. You're letting another guy kiss your neck and whisper dirty things in your ear"

"You're jealous," She called me out

"So what if I am?" I challenged

"Are you?" She asked trying to hide her smile

"Yeah, I am, okay? I'm jealous of the way you were acting with Matt because I want to be able to dance with you and kiss you and whisper dirty things to you at inappropriate times... Fuck, it's not only that. I want to do the stupid shit with you too. Like I want to go to the grocery store with you, or help you make dinner, and just lay in the hammock watching the stars. It's not just about the sex... For the first time ever in my life, I just want to be with you and be around you because you make me happy"

"Interesting" She smiled at me and she was quiet

"So you didn't drag me all the way to the creepy woods to push me up against a tree and rail me?"

"That wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but if it's what you want to do, I'm not going to stop it"

She crashed her lips into mine as we made out against a tree. Yes, we had a quickie and it was super hot and I assumed we'd just go back to the party and pretend like nothing happened. But, I was wrong.

We reached the party and she didn't let go of my hand. She held it the whole time, even in front of John B and Pope. They didn't say anything and she didn't make a big deal.

We hung out with our friends for a bit longer before we got in the Twinkie and headed back to the Chateau. We all went to our normal sleeping arrangements. Kie went in the bathroom and took a shower and I was trying to sleep on the lumpy pullout.

Suddenly, Kie appeared and asked, "Mind if join you?"

I lifted the blanket and she crawled underneath. She curled up next to me and she said, "It's more than just sleeping together for me too"

I kissed her head and said, "I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm going to try so damn hard to be the best boyfriend to you"

I suddenly realized that kinda came out of nowhere. I panicked and wished I could take it back. This was so embarrassing. Shit. Kie didn't react. She just softly said, "I promise to try and be the best girlfriend to you"

She softly kissed my lips and said, "Goodnight, Jayge"

"Goodnight, Kie" I said as she dozed off in my arms

When I woke up the next morning, John B and Pope were sitting in the kitchen. Kie was awake and still laying next to me, on her phone scrolling social media. She glanced over and saw I was awake and said, "Good morning, sleeping beauty"

"Good morning" I said still waking up

She leaned over and gave me a quick kiss. John B and Pope totally saw that and they didn't say anything. I was shocked that Kie wasn't trying to hide this from them.

I think she picked up on it as she whispered, "I don't want to make a big deal about us, but I don't want to hide it either"

We all went about our normal morning routines and headed out on the HSM pogue. John B looked at me and Kie asked, "So what's going on with you guys?"

"We're dating" Kie said resting her head on my shoulder

"Cute" John B said as drove out into the marsh

The pogues didn't make a big deal about it, which I appreciated. We had the best day out on the marsh and the night ended with my girlfriend in my arms laying in the hammock watching the stars as we shared a joint and some kisses too.
