Kie's POV:

I had just gotten married to the best guy in the world. His name is Tyler and we were dancing at our wedding receptions. We had our first dance and the party started.

John B, Pope, and JJ were all there. Sarah was the maid of honor and Cleo was a bridesmaid. JJ didn't bring a date to the wedding.

Tyler and I were slow dancing and JJ approached us and asked, "May I cut in?"

Tyler placed my hand in JJ's as he stepped back and disappeared into the crowd. JJ placed his other hand on my waist and he pulled me closer to his so there was no space between us.

My heart started to race and JJ leaned in and whispered, "Just like old times"

His lips were millimeters away from my neck. Holy shit. Goosebumps took over my body and now I couldn't stop thinking about 'the old times' he was talking about and I got lost in his ocean-blue eyes.

JJ and I were slow dancing to the song and I didn't even know what to say to him. The song was passing by way too quickly. I never wanted it to end.

Of course, the song slowed and the next started. Tyler was back and JJ spun me off to him.

"I missed you" Tyler said kissing me quickly as we continued to dance

The only problem now was that I couldn't take my eyes off JJ. I excused myself from dancing and I snuck off to go to the bathroom. Except, I didn't go to the bathroom. I went outside to get some air. It's where I saw JJ sneak off.

"Hey" I said as his back was facing me

He turned around with that stupid smirk and said, "Hey"

"What are you doing out here?" I asked

"I could ask you the same thing, especially because you're the bride"

I laughed tried not to give anything away so I said, "Just reminiscing about some old memories"

"Same" He smiled

"So why didn't you bring a date?"

He chuckled and rolled his eyes and he said, "You know how I feel about dating, especially bringing a date to my only girlfriend's wedding"

I bit my bottom lip and said, "Ex-girlfriend who is now a married woman"

JJ's mood changed and he said, "You should go back inside. Enjoy your wedding night"

I turned to look back at where all the noise was coming from. I was about to do something wrong on so many levels. I knew it was wrong and I was going to do it anyways.

I looked back at JJ and I couldn't control myself. I walked up to him and kissed him. He kissed me back and then he pulled away.

"Kiara" He said using my real name which he never used and it caught me off guard

"Shit..." I said walking away

"I didn't say I didn't like it. But you literally just got married like an hour ago to Tyler"

"I know, okay? I know... And I've never regretted something more. Fuck!"

"You know why I didn't bring a date to this? Because I couldn't focus on her because I was too busy looking at you. The most beautiful bride trying to hide the fact that I've never gotten over you and that I never will"

Okay. Wow. So JJ still liked me. He looked at me I was speechless. He grabbed my hand and started running. I had no idea where we were running to but I would go anywhere with JJ.

We went to his dad's truck and he started driving. He went to the ferry to head back to the Outer Banks.

On the ferry, we were making out in the truck. We broke apart and got out and watched the sunset. I was in my wedding dress and JJ was in a suit.

An older couple came over to us and said, "Congratulations, you two make a beautiful couple"

"Thank you" JJ said kissing my head which made me smile

JJ looked at me and said, "I know I don't have a ring... But after what just happened we can't just date. I want to be the guy you marry."

"Are you asking me to marry you?"

"Yeah, I am.."

"Well then, I'm saying yes!" I said kissing him

We were making out and I said, "I have to get divorced first... I think this might be the shortest marriage ever"

JJ laughed and he said, "I can't wait to marry you. I love you"

"I love you too"
