Kie's POV:

It has been a few years since I graduated college and started my successful career. I was married to a wonderful guy named, Logan. We had a little girl who was nine months old. Life was perfect.

The pogues all loved Logan. John B and Sarah were married. Pope was single and focused on his residency. He graduated from medical school and is a real doctor now. Cleo was traveling and would come to visit every now and again. JJ started in a construction job and he flipped houses and was making pretty good money. He was engaged to an amazing girl and the wedding was today.

JJ's fiance's name was Kayla and her bridesmaids were wearing pink dresses. JJ had asked me to be one of his groomsmen and I happily accepted. I was wearing a black dress and standing next to John B and Pope.

We were all getting ready together when JJ took a phone call and left the room. He didn't return after almost thirty minutes. We were all concerned and John B said, "Maybe he got cold feet"

"I'll go look for him" I said leaving the room

I left and I tried calling JJ but he didn't answer. I checked Kayla's bridal suite and he wasn't there. I didn't tell her anything as I didn't want her to worry. I walked around and then I saw Luke there with a bloody lip.

"Where's JJ?" I asked

"Outside" He said

I walked away from him and I went outside. JJ was leaning against the side of the building. He had just gotten in a fight with Luke and he was a mess.

"Hey, great start to my wedding" He said fighting back tears

"Come with me, I'll clean you up" I said bringing him  back inside to the bathrooms

We went inside the family bathroom and I cleaned the blood off of him and I found a first aid kit. I cracked the ice pack to help with the swelling and I cleaned his scrapes and cuts.

"Don't worry about your dad, today is going to be perfect."

"I hope so" He said nervously

"You love Kayla, she makes you so happy. There is no doubt in my mind that you two won't live happily ever after"

"Really? I just feel like I ruin everything and I don't want to hurt Kayla... Not like I hurt you" He said bringing up our past

I took a deep breath and said, "You didn't hurt me, our relationship just wasn't meant to be. You were a really good boyfriend, just like you are going to be an amazing husband to Kayla"

"I just can't lose you, I need you"

"You won't ever lose me, I promise. Besides, you're Sophia's favorite uncle" I said smiling as he loved my daughter like she was his own

"She's my favorite niece" He smiled

"You'll have to give her some cousins"

"Or maybe I'll have to give her a sibling" JJ said quickly and he realized what he just said and his face turned bright red and so did mine

"Shit, sorry! I wasn't thinking and that was a stupid joke"

I laughed and said, "It's fine, nothing leaves the bathroom"

"Kie, I'm so nervous..." He said shaking

"It will all be okay. I promise" I said hugging him and his heavy breathing slowed

He relaxed in my arms and he then he noticed the necklace I was wearing.

"You still wear that?" He asked

"All the time" I said

It was a necklace he bought me on our surf trip. Those were the best three months of my life. We fell in love on that trip and we felt unstoppable together. We dated and it was perfect.

We got home and I went to college and we broke up. I met Logan and I ended up marrying him. Shortly after, JJ met Kayla.

He carefully grabbed the turtle on the necklace and looked at it. He then looked at me and said, "The surf trip was the best three months of my life ever"

"Mine too, nothing will ever beat it"

"Not even your honeymoon?"

"Hell no, my honeymoon was in Alaska" I said laughing

JJ laughed and he said, "I'm taking Kayla to Yucatán"

"Of course, you are" I said smiling

That was his favorite place and it's where we ended our surf trip.

"Going to take her to that beautiful beach and watch the sunset?" I asked

JJ laughed and said, "I tried to convince to elope and get married there but she didn't like the idea"

"At least you get your honeymoon there"

I realized we had been in here for about ten minutes. I looked at him and I fixed up his tie and smoothed his suit coat out.

"We should probably get back" I said walking toward the door

I had my hand on the door handle about to open it and suddenly JJ pulled my hips to him and he kissed me. I wasn't expecting this. I was shocked and he pulled back. He didn't say anything, he just looked at me for a second before I crashed my lips back into his.

We were making out he picked me up and put me on the counter. I slid his suit jacket onto the floor and pulled to loosen his tie. He unzipped my dress and lifted me off the counter and it fell to the floor. He began kissing my neck and my chest as he unclamped my strapless bra.

I unbuttoned his shirt and pulled off his pants and boxers. Before I could think clearly, I realized we just had sex in the bathroom at his wedding. I was married. He was about to get married.

"Fuck.... What just happened" I said almost in tears

"What happens in the bathroom never leaves this bathroom"

"Never" I said freaking out

JJ and I quickly got dressed and I had my move my hair to cover a hickey. We were all ready to head back out. JJ stopped me, blocking the door and he said, "Kie, I'm so sorry"

"It wasn't just you... It was just the break up sex we never got" I said trying to justify it but I knew how wrong it was

He left the bathroom and I did too. The reception was starting. John B saw us walk back in and he looked between the two of us and I knew he knew. JJ's hair was slightly messier, my lipstick wasn't on anymore, we were both a little sweaty.

Sarah brought Sophia in and said, "Sorry, she's just been crying and wanted you"

"It's fine" I said grabbing my daughter from her

I talked to her and then she reached her arms out to go to JJ. He happily grabbed her and she curled into his chest.

She was the flower girl at the wedding and I snapped a picture. I couldn't stop thinking about what JJ said. He joked about giving her a sibling and then we had sex. Why would he do that? Did he still love me?? Why didn't he tell me before I got married?

Time was ticking and we were all standing at the alter. Kayla and JJ were saying their vows and it came time for them to kiss.

"You may kiss your bride" the minister said and JJ froze

He looked at Kayla and he said, "I'm so sorry for what I'm about to do"

Kayla looked confused and JJ turned around and he he grabbed me and complete dipped me as he kissed me. In front of everyone. In front of my husband. Our friends. Kayla's friends and family. I kissed him back and he stood me up and broke the kiss.

"She's the only bride I'd ever want to kiss. I'd rather end up alone than be with anyone else because no one will be her" JJ said to everyone as he walked back down the aisle

Everyone was looking at me. The maid of honor apologized and so did John B as the best man. Logan came up to me and asked, "What the fuck was that?"

"I have no idea" I said having no idea he was going to do that

Sophia reached her arms out and I held her. Logan and I went to the chateau with the pogues to try and find JJ.

I realized he was going to the airport. He was going to go to Yucatán alone. They booked their flight to leave tonight.

"Shit, I know where he is" I said and told everyone

"You should go" John B said

"Go to Yucatán?" I asked as if he was crazy

"You love him, I know you do" He said

"Do you love him?" Logan asked already knowing the truth

"I wish I didn't...." I said meaning that

"Go, I'll take care of Soph and we'll talk when you get home. I love you, but I want you to be happy... Go get the guy you're in love with it" Logan said and I started crying

I ran home and threw things in a bag and Logan drove me to the airport. I checked the flights online and he probably bumped up his ticket to leave earlier. I ran into the airport and bought a ticket for the earlier flight.

I sprinted through security and I just made it to the gate before they closed the doors. I got on and I went to find JJ. He looked up and he saw me. Everyone was seated now and he walked from the back of the plane to me and we kissed. The whole plane cheered and someone moved so I could sit next to him.

I told him everything that Logan said and we just talked the whole way there. We arrived and went to the resort. The next day, JJ proposed to me with a ring he had bought in the surf trip.

I happily agreed to marry him and we spent an incredible week together. We went home and Logan and I were getting divorced. We were going to split custody of our daughter. Logan and I stayed friends and John B set him up with Kayla. So it all worked out as it should have.

I also got pregnant with a little boy. JJ was so excited to have a son.
