Kie's POV:

JJ started posting on TikTok during our senior year and he went viral. While the rest of us were going to college, he was growing his fame through social media. This week we were all home for spring break and JJ asked us to be in a few of his videos. We all agreed and it was actually pretty fun.

We did some challenges, games, and some ones with questions like who knows JJ best. It was super fun. JJ was posting the videos and it was crazy to see how huge his fan base was. We were at the Chateau and everyone was in bed. I was reading the comments on the YouTube video he just posted and I asked, "Do you ever read the comments?"

"I try not to"

"They are hilarious... You have girls who are like ten years old who are in love with you, guys who think they are so much cooler but are complete losers, and moms who think you're hot"

"Exactly why I don't read the comments" He said laughing

He took a selfie of us and put it on his Instagram story and said: Ask us anything

Q: Are you guys dating?

A: Nope, she's my best friend

Q: What's her name?

A: Kiara

Q: Have you guys kissed

A: Nope :)

Q: How do you know each other?

A: We met in seventh grade and have been best friends ever since

JJ laughed at all the inappropriate questions and so did I. He seemed so happy living this life. It was time for all of us to go and JJ got a few videos to add to a YouTube video. We all said our goodbyes and headed back to college. That night, my Instagram was blowing up with followers.

JJ had posted pictures of our visit and the first one was one of me and him and the comments were blowing up. They were shipping us together. They tagged me in so many of their comments and were using the hashtag Jiara. I checked John B and Pope's followers and they had gained a few, but nothing like me. There were suddenly fan pages for us with a pretty big following.

JJ was calling me and I said, "Hey, I'm guessing you've seen everything"

"Yeah, holy shit. Do you want me to take it down?" He asked

"It's not going to change anything. Just couldn't believe it when I saw my phone blowing up"

"Well, since they love us so much you should be in more of my videos"

"Okay, come visit me some weekend" I said thinking of all the fun things we could do and he was down

He planned a trip and he also had some video ideas. He arrived and we filmed a bunch of videos and today was already his last day here. He planned a whole special day for the two of us and it was super special. It was his last video called - taking my best friend on a date.

We were back in my dorm room and JJ had been just sleeping on the futon under my roommate's bed, but my roommate was gone tonight. JJ was laying in my bed with me and we were watching his video that he just finished editing, taking my best friend on a date one.

"Isn't this basically clickbait?"

"No, because you are my best friend and we did hang out which is basically like a date. But if you don't want me to post it, I won't"

"You can post it. It's just crazy how everyone knows you and even my friends in college think we're dating. Everyone thinks we're dating. It's just a lot"

"I'll post a video clearing things up tomorrow. I'm sorry, Kie"

"But that's the problem, JJ.... I don't want everyone just to think we're dating. I want them to know we are dating. I want them to know that I have totally fallen in love with my best friend" I said admitting my feelings for him

"Really? You fell in love with me?" He asked shocked

"Of course, I did... I just didn't know how to tell you because of the fame. I shot you down so many times in high school when you were 'just a pouge' but the truth is, I always loved when you'd flirt with me and I wanted to tell you then but I was too scared you wouldn't want something serious and I'd lose you as my best friend and I'd rather have you as my best friend and pretend my feelings don't exist than lose you"

JJ looked at me and he said, "Kie, I would never think that. You're the only girl that I've ever wanted. I love you and of course, I want to be with you. I'd do anything to be with you"

JJ looked at me and I got lost in his eyes and he said, "I'm going to kiss you now"

He closed the gap between us as he kissed me and the kiss was everything I imagined. It was perfect. Our lips separated and I noticed he was still recording our video. He turned off the video and looked at me and said, "I promise, that is for us only. I won't ever share anything with the world that you aren't comfortable with"

I kissed him again and I couldn't believe that JJ and I were finally together all because fans started shipping us and it forced me to confess my love to him.
