Sarah's POV

Sometimes you have to hold on to what you want. All obstacles and the humility, unshakable through any storm, unbreakable in the face of any stress. A promise we simply refuse to break. Sometimes you have to not take "no" for an answer, and take what's coming to you. Never give in and never give up.

As much as I was happy for my best friend, I couldn't stop staring at JJ. Although he came to the wedding with a date, I knew for sure he'd rather be anywhere else than here and with someone else. I think her name is Jazmine or something like this, I don't really care honestly she's kind of a bitch and I'm pretty sure he brought her to the wedding because she was and he knew that would piss Kiara off.

I felt bad for him, he came because she's his best friend and he loved her so much that he couldn't miss the best day of her life. According to him, it was her best moment but I knew Kie too well to know it was a mistake.

A year ago, after her break up with JJ, her parents had forced her to go on a date with this guy Jason, a Kook. He was nice to be honest but he was not JJ.

The stupid thing is that the reason they broke up was so dumb I can't even remember it. But they both were too proud to admit it. And look where their pride brought them, Kiara was about to get married to the wrong guy. And she knew it, she just didn't want to deceive her parents and hurt Jason.

"And you, Kiara and Jason's closest friends and family, are here today to bear witness to their union." the mayor said as it was written in his book "Will you promise to love and support their marriage in all the days to come? If so, please respond "we will."

"We will." the all room agreed in sync.

JJ stayed silent though and I could see how much he was nervous, he coudn't stop playing with his rings.

Suddenly I saw JJ turning to his date "I'm sorry." he whispered as I read on his lips.

He then stood up and I smiled. Everyone in the room stared at him confused, he didn't say anything and sat back down when he noticed everyone was staring at him now. Even the mayor stopped his speech.

Stand up I thought to myself staring at him with a smile. Do it I was trying so hard to communicate with him through eyes.

"And I'm happy to be here today to be able to do this for you. I-" the mayor is interrupted by JJ standing up again, but he spoke this time.

"I love you, Kiara. I always have. I...I love everything about you. Even the things I don't like, I love them. And I want you with me." Kiara turned to look at him shocked. "I love you, and I think... that you love me, too." he continued under the watch of everyone.

I was so proud of him. Now, don't get me wrong I feel bad for Jason but I also know Kiara is in love with JJ, she never stopped.

Everyone is shocked by JJ's words, and I rolled my eyes at them happy JJ finally stood up for what he wanted. I could see that Kiara was speechless, and everyone looked at her, waiting for her to say something.

"I-" she gasped before her fiance interrupted her.

"Can someone make him leave???" Jason was pissed at JJ. After a few seconds he turned back to Kiara "Come on honey, where were we?"

But Kiara smiled at JJ before turning again to face Jason "I'm sorry, Jason."

She took off her veil, I knew she didn't like it. It was such Kooky she told me hours ago. She was now running to where JJ was still standing. As JJ realised Kiara was reaching for him, the biggest smile appeared on his face and he opened his arms. She finally jumped into them and he made her spined.

"Let's get out of here, baby." she finally said to him while taking his hand into hers and started to run runaway bride style.

People attending the venue were so angry and they were all insulting JJ. But in the middle of all this chaos, four people were applauding them. The Pogues. John B kissed me on the cheek and whispered "You totally knew it was gonna happen."

"We all knew it was gonna end up this way." Cleo added laughing putting his arm on Pope's shoulders.

"Why am I always the only one surprised when it comes to JJ and Kiara?" Pope laughed.

"You're so clueless, man" Cleo gave him a nice slap on the arm.

We were all laughing while people were arguing still confused and pissed at what just happened when we heard a klaxon coming from outside.

JJ and Kiara were both in the twinkie ready to leave screaming our names.

"I told JJ before the ceremony that the twinkie was outside with the keys still on the contact, you know just in case." John B smiled.

We waved at them watching them leave happy. Together.

It was about time.
